LOOKING BACK OVER 2012
Here’s just a handful of the many stories resulting from prayer from the HOTS Bath Team over the past year, both out on the streets and as members walk it out as a daily life style. :-
“I’d been feeling really hounded with facial twitching for the previous 16 days…. after
they prayed for me on Tuesday, the twitching stopped.”
“My back was prayed for …and it is 90% better. I have had problems sleeping because of it, but slept really well the last 2 nights.”
“We were chatting away when suddenly she turned and cried out as her back gave her
great pain… her eyes watered with the pain….I told her that our Father wanted to heal her of that and laid my hand on her and prayed and after a while she looked better. Later that day she sent me a text to say that her back was better!”
“I had badly sprained my knee the previous Saturday….. The prayer was an amazing experience and at such an unexpected venue. My knee pain immediately disappeared and I walked 2 miles on Monday, two days after walking around on crutches and three
days after being told by the GP it would take 4-6 weeks to heal!”
“Thank you for your boldness and frankness to demonstrate and proclaim the Kingdom of God out on the streets and for your amiable manner and the naturalness in which you shared with us and the people on the streets. It was a pleasure to experience the anointing for healing and evangelism you brought along.”
A Team Member’s Journey
I have been a Christian for over 25 years, studied the Bible and have been fully committed to following what the Bible taught, with a limited amount of success.
There was always an underlying frustration that I did not see the transformation in peoples’ lives that the Bible led me to expect, and I saw very little of the signs and wonders that Jesus promised would follow those who believed.
Surely Jesus promised “life in abundance” (John 10 verse 10) NOW, not “pie in the sky when we die”!
During this last year I got involved with a group of Christians who prayed for people on the streets. But first this required talking to people, mostly non-Christians, about Jesus, about God. This was a scary challenge to me since they don’t understand our church jargon.
As I simply told people how much God loved them, a surprising thing started to happen to me. What I was telling others started to hit home in my heart – God really loved ME! I had known this in my mind and could quote appropriate scriptures, but I now realised that my heart hadn’t fully got the message until now.
I now feel such a joy inside, which had not been there before. The frustrations I had experienced with people have somehow been exchanged for compassion and apprec-iation. So, this is why Psalm 16 verse 11 says “in His presence is fullness of joy”.
This is what some people feel when they first become Christians; the Bible becomes
alive as never before, and they can’t get enough of His presence, whether meeting together with others to pray and worship or by themselves. (Ed Humphreys)

This report is most encouraging because a year ago, within three months of this blog’s debut, a political ruling prohibited prayers for healing in public places. Consequently, my wife and I contacted Paul about including her testimony of healing on the HOTS Bath website. This was because she’d received her healing from permanent disability in that city before the days of HOTS. I’ve since supported and promoted his campaign against the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and which attracted Parliamentary interest. An official review found a substantial flaw in the ruling, as reported here.
Until now I’ve not mentioned the following more personal and related events:
An unexpected outcome to Paul’s publication was that an investigative journalist came to our house – an expert in exposing bogus claimants of the Disability Living Allowance! That is, some fully fit and able people use counterfeit permits and fraudulently receive the state allowance. He was fully expecting to see a permit on our car but didn’t – he was quite perplexed!
So we invited him in. Over ‘a cuppa’ we told him the full story and Nina showed him the documentation. Regrettably, the journalist didn’t get back to us. Did his editor squash his story?
More important, however, is this expert’s opinion that the proof of Nina’s healing is not that she is now able-bodied, but that she contacted the Dept of Pensions to cancel the allowance to which she’d been entitled because of her disability! That is, she is out-of-pocket. (The Dept’s computer system had no way of coping with such an about-turn!)
Therefore, I contacted the lady who’d made the original complaint to the ASA and gave her the reporter’s opinion of the incontestable facts. Although supposing herself to be an investigator of the supernatural, she hadn’t the slightest interest in our evidence or pleasure to learn about the healing. She thereby denied its truth and demonstrated her complete lack of integrity – a fraud herself. But what else can an atheist do?
Another outcome of this issue was the inclusion of Nina’s account on this blog within a library of accounts of healings, some medically inexplicable, with which we’re familiar. All of these may be found under God Heals Today. And whilst in Hull, we chatted with a lady who’d been healed from being fully wheelchair-bound for over 3 years (video)

Joel reports developments after a week of escalating tensions on the Israeli-Syrian border, especially the weekend’s explosion in an Iranian-Hezbollah convoy in the Golan Heights. Debka reported this put Israeli, Jordanian and US special forces in the kingdom on high alert. Breaking news Wednesday afternoon: the airforce attack prevented handover of sophisticated missiles to Hezbollah. Syria’s Assad has since responded in a detailed statement – visit Debka homepage for latest ‘pre-media’ news. On Monday President Obama was reluctant to prevent Syrian (and ex-Iraqi) chemical weapons falling into the hands of terrorists – hardly surprising in view of the withdrawal of the US naval fleet. So he left matters entirely in the hands of Middle-East regional powers. The next day all Israel’s armed forces went into a higher state of readiness for conflict as a top Air Force commander described Syria as ‘falling apart’. In addition, Egypt’s Defense Minister said about Egypt, “The political strife is pushing the state to the brink of collapse”. On top of all that, Joel covers reports on a mysterious explosion in Iran’s underground Fordow nuclear facility. Perhaps a number of things are moving into place as regards the Psalm 83 confederacy and the Ezekiel alliance (as here)?
“Israeli warplanes attacked a target on the Lebanese-Syrian border overnight Tuesday, foreign media reported on Wednesday,” according to a report in the Times of Israel. “While some reports said the purported strike was carried out on the Syrian side of the border, according to one source the target was a weapons convoy that had crossed from Syria into Lebanon. The reports come amid rising concern in Israel and the West regarding the sizable chemical weapons stockpile in the hands of an increasingly embattled Syrian regime. Lebanese officials said a dozen Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace on Tuesday and overnight into Wednesday, flying close to the ground in several sorties over southern Lebanon. The Israeli military and the Prime Minister’s Office had no comment. A Lebanese army statement said the last of the sorties was at 2 a.m. Wednesday. Enthroned on high,
His praise shall be our battle cry.
He reigns victorious,
Forever glorious,
His name is Jesus,
He is the Lord.
This refrain was repeated and then again, and yet again and again, over and over. The young man led worshipers higher and higher; as though with eagles spiralling upwards on heaven-bound thermals…
This was no short chorus, but many minutes devoted to praise. Immediately, therefore, I recalled 20-odd years ago being high over the Mediterranean and looking down upon southern France. Suddenly, I heard lots of loud voices filling the void beyond the Earth -all singing that same popular earthly chorus. And there was a proclamation from on high! As an almost new Christian I’d never heard such truly awesome, harmonious singing as that of the angelic host. Harmony upon harmony kept being added as their praise of The Captain of Hosts, the Lamb of God, soared up, and on and on, through the heavens as well as wrapping around Earth. Utterly unforgettable!
We hadn’t heard this chorus for a decade or more, but this time it was the opening song for what was to become quite a special Sunday on 6th January. Our day started outside Guildford, Surrey > then 2 hours later home for lunch before ‘cyber-flying’ over to the Gulf of Mexico by Alabama for another morning service > then 3 hours later zooming in a flash back to London for Kensington Temple in the evening (as recounted here).
Upon checking my notes I found that first dream/vision had occurred exactly 21 years before (ie. 6 January 1992). Could this be of significance, not only that 21 = 7 x 3 but also because that day is known as The Epiphany of the Lord – the celebration of God’s revealing Jesus to the world as its true God, Messiah and Saviour. Additionally, I’d had an email about dreams many Muslims are having of Jesus. Also, I was prompted to dig out and then blog about notes for a prophetic word, 2011: an ‘epic generation’ – and noticed it too had been publicly delivered on the same feast day!
So, perhaps this reminder happening on the 21st anniversary of the vision means the declaration I heard is now about to be fulfilled? The situation to which it referred has since grown far more grave, as indicated in the PM’s recent remarks about al-Qaeda.
Whatever was it I’d heard? My brief notes made at the time are as follows:
The BBC late evening news on 6th January 1992 announced that leaders in the Muslim community wanted to establish a Muslim parliament in Britain, but:
In a dream that night I saw Western Europe, mainly France and the Mediterranean, as if from the space shuttle and heard the popular worship chorus ‘All Hail The Lamb’ being sung, as if in the atmosphere! This praise was repeated many times most melodiously, as though by angelic choir, and seemed to spiral upwards. Then I heard a very loud, authoritative voice declare, “As Communism fell so, too, will Islam fall”.
Many years later the opening events of the Arab Spring led me to share that ‘event’ with a few friends. By then I’d discovered a couple of prominent prophetic voices had had a similar revelation. [My interpretation of this dream proved to be of encouragement to a lady missionary in Marseilles and an evangelist in Egypt; this email refers.]
Yes and No, Prime Minister
The previous post outlined my grasp of the issues Prime Minister Cameron spoke about and why he may be correct in saying a war against al-Qaeda could last decades. I could have drawn upon what his renowned predecessor Sir Winston Churchill foresaw of the danger of militant Islam in 1899! His trenchant opinion, based upon personal military service in The Sudan, speaks with great insight and I quote only the portion pertinent to this post.:
“…Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome…” [Read full extract in Wikipedia’s The River War – hat-tip to Roy.]
What wisdom on the strategic strength of Christianity – but many regard it as worthless and want it ditched! Lord, open the eyes of antagonists’ understanding. [Update 4 Feb: former PM Blair says, “…the West should view the fight against Islamism as the fight against revolutionary communism” – The Commentator.]
A prophetical teacher’s book sheds scriptural light upon all this. I’d put the book aside a while ago, but was moved to pick it up again this month. Returning to chapter 10, I found Paul Keith Davis writes this about the OT prophet Daniel.:
‘Much of Daniel’s revelation and many of his visionary encounters centred upon a future generation identified as (literally) ‘end-of-the-days’. He was a forerunner of a company of end-time saints who will be esteemed by God and awarded mighty revelatory inspiration and insight. In many ways God’s role in his life offers a prophetic model for us to follow. Likewise, we can also use Daniel’s model to discern the enemy’s plans against the destinies of God’s people. In Daniel 10 (chapter here)…we read of one of the incredible visitations bestowed (which) was not without intense resistance from unseen sinister forces. In his vision Daniel discovered a dark entity called the…
The chapter continues by considering the Lord’s Holy Alliance and the purpose of global terrorism to frustrate the birth of heavenly aspiration on earth. Also covered is a vision Bob Jones received in 1999 that relates to the Twin Towers attack in 2001.
The ‘unholy alliance of a religious and of a political spirit’ means something like the Nazi-ism and Communism of the last century. Although primarily political, both ideologies were based upon a belief that would improve the whole world. But this time it would be a far more powerful re-emergence of a medieval mentality.
To Westerners steeped in democratic values the ‘Arab Spring’ brought some hope for widespread change – and perhaps the realisation of that supra-naturally heard word. But most are ignorant of the deep motivation within Islamist doctrine and its repudiation of democratic principles. A well-informed knowledge of the Islamist mind-set, therefore, makes it easy to agree with the PM’s opinion of a greatly protracted conflict.

So without divine intervention from the real God, there would be absolutely no hope for ordinary Muslims of freedom. Their only hope is the same as that of their fellows in the faith of Abraham – the blessed hope of our assurance, Jesus Christ, as Paul wrote to Titus:
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
The Blessed Hope Appears to Muslims
I would direct you first to a reply to the previous post in which Tony refers to a dream that relates to Hagar, mother of Ishmael and all Abraham’s Arabic descendants. Tony concludes:
…the water in my dream is symbolic of the Holy Spirit, and I believe that a revival is coming to the children of Hagar who dwell in desert places.
This reminded me that in November 1999 Wendy Alec received a revelatory visit from Jesus wherein He addressed Arab nations and made a promise to visit them (pages 141-143 of Journal of the Unknown Prophet) – am stunned to notice these are the same numbers as just copied from chapter 10 of Paul Keith’s book! WOW !! Here are some snippets.:
…I, the Lord God of your forefathers am about to unwrap the grave clothes that bind you so fiercely to that which leads you so far from me…even as you have betrothed yourself to Islam, so I have betrothed Myself to you…
And so a great revelation and visitation shall start to manifest and so a great spirit of supplication and repentance shall sweep the communities for it is I, Jesus, who shall speak. First one behind closed doors, then two behind closed doors, then twenty and then thousands, and so my Church throughout the Arab nations shall start to rise.
Lastly, there have been many many independent accounts of such direct encounters, the latest received by email of Dreams, Visions Moving Muslims to Christ. A few years ago I emailed about those recorded in Christine Dargs’ book (as below, and website):
Conclusion
I trust that readers who’ve followed my two-part musings about Mr Cameron’s remarks may agree there really is firm hope of a considerable change within years, not decades.
In my humble opinion, coincidence of dates and book pagination indicates that the Lord is stressing the importance of revelations of His working throughout the Muslim world. This may, therefore, be of great encouragment to intercessors, to believers and those serving Him in those lands.

WELL, YES AND NO, Prime Minister.
This opinion is based upon over fifteen years’ monitoring, study and research in dozens of documents and reference works. [See Footnote 1 below].
In Sunday’s interview [2] on the murders of Britons and many other nationals in Algeria, David Cameron stated.:
This is a stark reminder, once again, of the threat we face from terrorism the world over…particularly in North Africa. This is a global threat and it will require a global response. It will require a response that is about years, even decades, rather than months, and it requires a response that is patient, that is painstaking, that is tough but also intelligent, but above all has an absolutely iron resolve; and that is what we will deliver over these coming years. It will also require countries to work together, and I will use our chairmanship of the G8 this year to make sure this issue is right at the top of the agenda where it belongs.
…first we should just say very clearly; the responsibility for loss of life lies with the terrorists…they wanted to take lives; they wanted to kill people; they wanted to do exactly that.
When asked if the threat to the UK from al-Qaeda in North Africa is as great as it was in Afghanistan a decade ago, he replied.:
Well, it is different in scale but there are similarities. What we face is an extremist, Islamist, violent, al-Qaeda linked terrorist group. Just as we had to…have to deal with that in Pakistan and in Afghanistan, so the world needs to come together to deal with this threat in North Africa. It is similar because it is linked to al-Qaeda; it wants to destroy our way of life; it believes in killing as many people as it can. [Emphases mine]
The total number killed by Islamists is now over 20,000 since the attack upon New York on 11 September 2001 [3].
At least the PM and Foreign Secretary William Hague are unequivocal about the No. 1 menace to global peace and security. In practically every Western government PC values (Political Correctness, ie. Politicians’ Claptrap) have imposed head-in-the sand attitudes, blinkered avoidance and deliberately ignorant self-deception upon policies. They even made rational analysis, legitimate discussion and speech a criminal offence. A controversial example is the US administration’s kowtowing to Muslim Brotherhood influence and changing all national security manuals [4]. This has resulted in a greatly hampered military grasp of the avowed enemy’s strategy and goals. For example, the Bengazhi-gate furore [5] and refusal to recognise the Fort Hood massacre of November 2009 for what it really is. [6 – Raymond Ibrahim is quoted but many credible experts could also be cited.]
FIRST, I must underline my personal opinion is not against Muslims as individuals for each murderer, like all of us at one time of another, is a sinner in need of forgiveness and their salvation that was purchased for each of us by Jesus’ self-sacrifice on the accursed Roman cross. And this awesome blessing is FREE! Truly there is no other way, or any higher name by which we are to be saved and enter into life everlasting than that of the One whom God sent. Thus, we can be fully reconciled to Him though His Son and come into His holy presence.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. [John 14:6]
It is irrational, nay evil, to ascribe the obligatory murder of non-believers to a divinity’s demands. [Is it any wonder atheistic Professor Dawkins claims ‘religion makes people stupid’? 7] Irrationality puts a mere man above his god – which is idolatry! If divine, is not the Meccan god of the famous 7th century Arab more than able to deal, now or any time, with everyone who offends him? Why need men and children to do his dirty work?
It was heartening, therefore, that unlike the effete BBC the PM did not mince words in Parliament when he called the perpetrators ‘terrorists’. The BBC describes them as ‘militants’, perhaps to reflect Algerian usage. Yet it’s hardly surprising in view of my earlier criticism [8] and Michael Deacon concludes his report [9] of the occasion, “Our enemy isn’t a nation. It’s an infestation”.
[Update 4th Feb: according to The Commentator, on TV yesterday former PM Tony Blair echoed PM Cameron’s remarks and is of the opinion.:
“We are certainly talking about a generation” said Blair, explaining that the West should view the fight against Islamism as the fight against revolutionary communism. (U/line added by RB)
“It will happen in many different theatres, it will happen in many different ways but the truth is that you have no option but to confront it, to try over time to defeat it.”]
1. As reported privately [10], several years ago I discussed with Rolland Baker of Iris Ministries a vision of Holy Spirit fire sweeping up Eastern Africa from Mozambique, across the Sinai into the Middle East. He told me about a discussion on Arabic TV held at Islam’s worldwide spiritual authority of Al Azhar University in Cairo. Apparently, this was about setting up a global caliphate and progress reports were received that their goal is well on the way to being achieved, with the exception of Africa because of God’s work in Mozambique – where Muslims have been healed and delivered of demons, and where Muslim provinces converted and mosques have become churches!
2. A professor of Islamic history and literature at its most prestigious centre of learning, Al-Azhar University, and who lived Islam and taught in mosques, has written a thorough expose of Islam and the origins of the Muslim Brotherhood. When a freshman, he enrolled in a class on Quranic interpretation and asked, “Why is jihad constantly spoken about and not other verses about peace, love and forgiveness? The blind sheik erupted in front of hundreds of students,
There is a whole sura (chapter) called ‘Spoils of War’. There is no surah called ‘Peace’. Jihad and killing are the head of Islam. If you take them out you cut off the head of Islam!
This student couldn’t understand why others were killing Christians and came to realise he had two options, viz: embrace ‘Christianised’ Islam tailor-made for Egyptian government (of Mubarak), or to embrace Islam fully in line with its founder’s teachings and Quran! I could quote much more, particularly about the MB, its Egyptian President Morsi and its tentacles around President Obama [hence my concern in 11], but for now here’s Dr Mark Gabriel’s book:
This ex-Muslim scholar confirms that the ultimate goal of Islam is to establish Islamic authority over the whole world. His book is an eye-opener for most Christians!
Foreign Secretary Hague spoke about increasing UK overseas aid to poor nations to combat Islamists. But the problem won’t be changed until ordinary believers come to understand the faith is mistaken and are educated about its conflict with the teachings of the Old and New Testaments. Simply check and compare the lives of the founders of three Abrahamic faiths, Moses, Jesus Christ and Mohammed, and the open-minded will agree with the Gospels – Jesus is matchless.
I believe the government should continue to obtain advice and assistance only from ex-Muslims who are familiar with all the deep issues and carry out an urgent programme to ditch PC bilge and focus on straight-talking. This should start making inroads into the problem. But it does have another and much more real dimension – that of the spiritual realm. Two workmen last night thanked ‘divine intervention’ for their astonishing escape from death as a helicopter crashed into their crane and turned into a fireball.
The pair should have been in the cabin when disaster struck, sending burning debris cascading 700ft on to the rush-hour streets of London below.
Instead, Richard Moule and his colleague Nicki Biagioni were late for work – both had overslept for the first time in years – and missed death by minutes.
Regrettably, Peter Barnes and Matthew Wood were the only ones to have lost their lives when Pete’s helicopter inexplicably went out of control and crashed into the crane and ‘friendly giant’ Matthew was the unfortunate passing pedestrian down below. About a dozen people only (!) were injured, as today’s Telegraph reports under 2-page broadsheet headline.:
‘Miracle’ of how so few died when fire rained down on the rush hour – The fact that only two people died when a two-ton helicopter crashed on to a busy road during the morning rush hour was nothing short of miraculous, police said.
Emergency workers who scrambled to the scene had expected the death toll to be “much, much worse”, but instead they came across a series of astonishingly narrow escapes, including a baby who was inches from death when a piece of wreckage smashed through his parents’ car roof on to the seat next to him…
Fate contrived an extraordinary set of circumstances to limit the death toll to the helicopter pilot and a pedestrian, including a red traffic light that kept the crash site almost entirely clear of vehicles.
“It doesn’t take a great deal of imagination to think what would have happened if that helicopter had crashed onto a bus or a heavily-occupied building,” said Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London.

I’ve commuted through and driven around this area many times when I lived in greater London, including the same areas as both families. Whenever I visit I can find my way around quite easily but am always surprised at so many tall buildings in our capital city. Nina reminded me many people escaped death during the infamous 9/11 Twin Towers attack simply because they’d been divinely warned and stayed away.
Traumatic as any unexpected death is for their family and friends, there has definitely been an amazing protective blessing over this accident – perhaps angels ‘arranged’ the fixed ‘stop’ light? It indicates the Lord had a hand in this, perhaps to prove His grace to everyone, believer and unbeliever alike?
Be amazed as you read the reports, see the images and consider the details…and then thank the good Lord.

Later that week I was pleased to learn conference delegates from all over the UK, from Europe and even USA were breaking previous attendance records, so the organisers were strongly advising booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Thank you Emma, David, Sharon and Greg for blessing so many. This is also mirrored in an astonishing increase in visitors to this blog who are interested in prophetical matters – are these dark days making many search behind the mundane and towards God’s agenda?
On our behalf I started following Lion Bites: short personal prophetic words from Glasgow. The first three this week were all relevant in confirming a thought or scriptures that had been in mind the previous day! Or in fact, in the case of Monday’s, had often been considered and even written about last month (see Sifting tag).
Therefore, I have no hesitation in recommending your checking out Lion Bites – and subscribing.

On Sunday afternoon 13th January 2013 (interesting in US style: 01.13.2013 ) I grabbed the nearly new jotter I’d found only the previous week to once again make notes whilst watching a live webcast. During worship at Church of His Presence I recollected an old prophetic word given about an ‘epic year’ and made a mental tab to dig out any notes.
This ‘almost new’ pad wouldn’t have those notes, or so I believed. Anyway, I flipped over its scribbled pages >> last week’s notes >> (next) Easter 2011 >> (next) John Kilpatrick Mar ’11 >> (last, the oldest) is headed “I’m a big God!”.
What I wanted was there on the very first pages!! Had my thought been ‘engineered’?

In my opinion what was brought by Nathan Morris harmonises well with recently published prophetic words for 2013 – maybe he prophesied these prophecies? If you spend a little time reflecting upon them with the Lord you may be ready for some observations I wish to make.

The surgeon sat beside the boy’s bed; the boy’s parents sat across from him. “Tomorrow morning,” the surgeon began, “I’ll open up your heart…”
“You’ll find Jesus there,” the boy interrupted.
The surgeon looked up, annoyed. “I’ll cut your heart open,” he continued, “to see how much damage has been done…”
“But when you open up my heart, you’ll find Jesus in there.” The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly.

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. 4 Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified. (1 Corinthians 14th chapter NIV, my emphases)
Thus, Apostle Paul instructed the early Church in the importance of this endowment of God’s grace to born-again believers. That is, to those who have received the Spirit that bears witness to the truth of Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God. This enables them to attest that “Jesus is Lord”. Paul had divulged what he’d personally been told by Jesus about the Passover meal celebrated immediately before His crucifixion and resurrection back to life from the dead. Then Paul wrote how Holy Spirit gives individual giftings to each believer for the common good. But above all of them is ‘the most excellent way – love’. (For a fuller understanding of this letter read 1st Corinthians chapters 11 to 13 in the Amplified Bible.) In chapter 14 he provides a protocol for receiving prophetic words.:
29 Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30 And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets. 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.

UK PROPHETIC COUNCIL – WORD FOR 2013
In keeping with these scriptures one of the many groups of UK prophets has released insights which may be regarded as ‘a guide for prayer, teaching and alignment’. (Four contributors are known to me personally and I bear witness to their gifting.)
These words include and are extra to those transcribed earlier from Sharon Stone (as here), and some were shared at the November mentoring day. They constitute perhaps the most exciting and encouraging promises I’ve read in many years. As stated,
‘2013 promises to be a significant year…a season when we are being drawn to a new glory of the Kingdom of God’, which promises to feature.:

What has God said to you lately? When is the last time you heard His voice? Do you sense a flow of the wisdom of heaven in your world today?
Paul says “He went in response to a revelation…”. Everything in our lives begins in the mind of God, and flows to us through the multi-media of heavens communication. A thought, a feeling, a hunch, a bible verse seemingly coming to life and jumping off the page.
When ever this happens, I write it down. The verse, the feeling, the nudge, even the exact words, on the occasions it comes with such clarity. I do this because I know when God speaks, He has some blessing, some good thing in mind, for me or someone I love. A miracle is ready to unfold!

This is to inform Christians who are interested in prophecy and able to travel to Windsor that a second year of Mentoring Days has now been arranged. These are usually held on the first Saturday monthly and may incorporate an evening of prayer for the nation. I can highly recommend these special training days. Thus, proclaimed Nathan Morris on Sunday night as he ministered to the congregation gathered in packed Kensington Temple, the renowned Elim Pentecostal church located in Notting Hill Gate, London.
It could be taken as a prophetic declaration in keeping with Julie Meyer’s visionary song and Bobby Conner’s prophetic reference to a UK ‘Firestorm’. We knew of this only through being on opposite sides of the ‘pond’.
And what a way to travel…no planes, queues, passport control – no delays, no jet-lag!! We were online in Mobile, Alabama and then z o o m e d to London within a minute!
That’s how we got 1/4 way around the world without going outside our lounge. For three hours we ‘attended’ Church of His Presence, where pastor John Kilpatrick taught on the realisation of believers’ potential (along with 22 prophetic words). He spoke of unseen connections God is bringing about and opening doors -where’d we heard that before? (here) – doors that have been locked for 20 years! Pastor specifically included on-line members but my wife was unable to hear this because she’d been ‘zapped’. What he’d already said had ‘plugged’ her into Holy Spirit’s power socket – thank you Lord.
John’s homily was God Is Planning Something SO BIG, Even The Devil Can’t Stop It! His excellent exposition on how the Lord will do this complements Sharon Stone’s prophetic words on ‘perspective’ and God’s provision, as well as those she’s just released this week for 2013 from the UK’s Prophetic Council. In announcing that their English evangelist was away on a home visit, and as a guest speaker at Reinhard Bonnke’s School of Evangelism, John’s assistant pastor said that Nathan had been invited at the last minute to address the evening service prior to the event. And because of the time difference, that service would be happening at about the same time as their own there in Alabama, USA.
So Nina wondered if there may be a live webcast for that London service. As soon as John had finished, I searched for Christ For All Nations’ site but its UK page just refused to load! (Overloaded?) A quick ‘google’ soon located the hosting church’s website.
So from a 10.30 morning service to a 19.00 evening service was simple as pie, thanks to technology. With laptop hooked up to TV we took part in both services from our own armchairs. YET, a shock was in store for us…
Along with hundreds of online members we like being with the enthusiastic Americans but, ‘arriving’ at 7.30pm in London just after close of worship we landed with a thud! Here, we found an ordinary, subdued English service even though it was composed mainly of youngsters and many nationalities!
Or, as Nathan had just started speaking, maybe they were surprised at how passionate he is? Definitely not the usual sort of speaker. Being fire-filled he cannot be anything but excited about his Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Nathan gave a brief outline of his past life of deep sin and how the Lord unexpectedly burst into his life, turned him around and set him ablaze. Then followed a couple of videos outlining his remarkable ministry in Africa and India and showing the revival and miracles at the Bay of The Holy Spirit in Mobile.
AN HOUR LATER, ALL CHANGED! The congregation packing hall and balconies was mightily encouraged and keen for more. Nathan always preaches the blood and cross of Jesus without compromise and after which signs and wonders follow. Tonight, therefore, the Holy Spirit’s fire fell. Everyone was up on their feet on fire for and with Him and wanting more when Nathan ministered to almost everyone. Hence, his declaration in view of what was happening, “London’s burning”, as well as the fact that people have come from all over London and the home counties.
What’s it like being touched by the Holy Spirit? He affects us in different personal ways. For me it’s like a warmth and glow upon the face and often makes me feel I’m surfing. For those very sensitive to the Spirit the power may make us twitch and/or cry out. And it can happen ‘remotely’, as above whilst watching a live broadcast, or by the laying on of hands, as when Nina felt as though a thunderbolt had hit her when Nathan touched her as he passed by at Hull (account here).

THOSE who liked the popular Prophetic words for 2013 and live in Scotland, Ulster or Northern England may like to know that Rev. Dr Stone will be a guest of Emma Stark at Start 2013 Right in Glasgow on 11-12 January. As one of Sharon’s panelists at the Windsor meeting on 3 November, Emma added to the occasion with further words of prophetic insight.

Now that we’re into a New Day, let’s consider what the much-admired political blogger Cranmer kicks off 2013 with – in his own inimitable way.:

Behind the doctrine of the all-sufficiency of Christ’s mercy lurks the omnipotence of God in salvation. If humanity plays no part in his own salvation, everything is in God’s hands….
There is doctrinal mediation to be had and theological dispute to be entertained, but ultimately there is One Mediator between God and man, and that is Christ Jesus. It is through His passion that we are saved; not through any pantomime of politics fused with a religious veneer of holiness.

Many of us want the blessings of the Lord but we don’t particularly want to line up with the Word of God or His will for our lives. We want to select the areas of our lives that we want to surrender to Him. How many of us can truly say

Looking through the bedroom window whilst sipping our first cuppa on the first day of this New Year we simultaneously saw.:
This reflection of the doorway into our bathroom and the window therein happens only when the sun is low in the south-east. It was so good to have a sunny start to the day and for it to stay so after 2012, the second wettest in UK records.
Only the previous night, New Year’s Eve, we waited upon the Lord regarding the New Year. I was reminded that when Christina Foor visited the church on 11.11.2012 she brought prophetic words for everyone. I’d had opportunity to record what she said to us on my cellphone but we’d not listened to it together. So last night was the right time to do so. Christina spoke specifically into our personal lives about what’s happened and about the Lord fulfilling his promises and moving us into a new season.:
“…You are on the threshold and I see you before a great door and it’s opening into…this is a season of open doors…”
Now I’d completely forgotten all about this but recalled having seen a door in the middle of the night, as related in On the threshold. Doubtless you may find it hard to believe from that post that I’d forgotten about this prophetic word. That blog was more about ‘God-incidental’ events and I’d first thought what Christina said was specifically for Nina because she’d spoken directly to her. So I didn’t think everything said applied to me.
What we beheld on 1st January was almost identical to what I’d been trawling the web for to mount in that post, yet what I used conveys the meaning very well. This ‘mirage’ reiterates the importance of taking one or several steps together through an intangible yet real doorway into the New Year…
As for this blog, a few new things are in the pipeline but first let’s turn our eyes to Him upon whom we have our very being….
