Sir Keir Starmer could face a privileges committee inquiry into whether he lied to MPs about the Mandelson scandal.

The committee, best known for its investigation into Boris Johnson’s partygate scandal, investigates potential contempt of Parliament – which is widely seen as a resignation offence.

Karl Turner, a suspended Labour MP who currently sits as an independent, revealed that he had written to Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the Commons Speaker, urging him to refer the Prime Minister to the committee.

At PMQs on Wednesday, Sir Keir told the Commons that “no pressure existed whatsoever” over the appointment of Lord Mandelson as his ambassador to the US.

A day earlier, Sir Olly Robbins, who was sacked from his top Foreign Office job last week, told the foreign affairs committee that there had been “constant pressure” from No 10.

INTRIGUING BACKGROUND

The Man Nobody Is Talking About. His Name Is Sir Philip Barton.

Buried inside Tuesday’s committee testimony, beneath the headlines about constant pressure, bullying and secret job searches, is the detail that may prove the most consequential of this entire affair. It concerns not Olly Robbins, not Morgan McSweeney, not even Keir Starmer. It concerns the man who was there before all of them. The man who said no. The man who then left his post eight months early.

Sir Philip Barton was the Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign Office when Peter Mandelson’s appointment was announced in December 2024. He was, in other words, the most senior civil servant in the building at the precise moment the machinery of state was being directed to place a man with documented links to Russia and China into the most sensitive diplomatic posting in the Western alliance.

What Robbins told the committee on Tuesday is this. Barton pushed back. When the Cabinet Office argued that vetting Mandelson was unnecessary, that a peer and Privy Councillor did not require developed vetting, Barton refused to accept it. He insisted that vetting was a requirement. He had to be, in Robbins’s own words, very firm in person. He also voiced reservations about the appointment to Jonathan Powell, the National Security Adviser, reservations that were noted and not acted upon. He was worried, Robbins suggested, about exactly the same reputational risks that had been detailed to the Prime Minister before the appointment was announced.

Then Sir Philip Barton left his post. Eight months before his tenure would otherwise have concluded.

The question Richard Foord put to Robbins on Tuesday was the right one. Why did Barton’s tenure end early? Robbins said he did not know. He suggested ministers may have felt it was time for a change. That answer is not an answer. It is the absence of one.

Consider what the timeline now shows. A senior civil servant pushes back against the appointment, insists on vetting when the Cabinet Office wants to bypass it, raises reservations with the National Security Adviser, and departs eight months ahead of schedule. His replacement arrives to find the appointment already treated as a fait accompli, the vetting process under constant pressure from Downing Street, and the question of outcome entirely subordinate to the question of speed.

If Barton was removed because he stood in the way of this appointment, then Robbins was not the first civil servant sacrificed to protect it. He was the second. And the question of who else was moved aside, overruled or silenced in the months between December 2024 and the moment the security services finally said no, becomes the most important question this affair has yet produced.

Starmer sacked Robbins for following the rules. The Foreign Affairs Committee will now call Barton to give evidence. What he says will either confirm what the timeline already suggests or provide an alternative explanation that the evidence does not currently support.

There is a pattern here that goes beyond process failure. Process failures are random. They point in different directions. What this affair has produced is a series of events that point consistently in one direction. Officials who comply are retained. Officials who push back depart. The security services are bypassed. The vetting is treated as an administrative inconvenience. And the one question nobody at the top of this government will answer is why this appointment, this man, this post, mattered so much that every obstacle was removed to make it happen.

Barton apparently asked that question. He left eight months early. The country deserves to know why.

This begs the question, in view of his time as Director of Public Prosecutions (Head of the Crown Prosecution Service) 2008-2013 failing to crush the Muslim grooming gangs, what was the extent of his personal friendship not only Mandelson, who was connected with Russia and China as well as directly involved with paedophile Epstein, but also of Starmer’s own involvement with those nations and/or the criminal or perverted cronies?

‘Erdogan’s Delusional War Cry: Turkey’s Islamist Strongman Threatens to Invade Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ramped up his anti-Israel tirade in a fiery April 12, 2026 speech, openly threatening military action against the Jewish state.

“Just as we entered Libya and Karabakh, we can enter Israel,” Erdogan declared. “There is no reason not to do it. It will require strength and unity.”

He slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “blinded by blood and hatred,” accusing Israel of atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon while positioning Turkey as some regional savior for the Palestinians.

The outburst came as tensions simmer in the Middle East, with Erdogan claiming only Pakistan’s mediation in U.S.-Iran talks held Turkey back from “showing Israel its place.”

This is classic Erdogan bluster from a NATO member who cozies up to radicals while cozying up to Western defense budgets. Turkey’s military looks big on paper, but invading a battle-hardened Israel defended by superior tech, intelligence, and resolve is pure fantasy.

Israel has crushed far bigger threats before. Erdogan’s tough talk may fire up his Islamist base at home, but it risks dragging Turkey into a fight it cannot win and exposing the fractures in NATO.

Empty threats like this only embolden terrorists and underscore why strong, unapologetic support for Israel’s right to defend itself remains vital against radical regimes dreaming of conquest.’

So Holy Spirit pokes me to dip into the video and fast-scroll through transcript and find at 58.48 mins (complex formatting prevents full editing):

“…And then in October, I felt like the Holy Spirit was saying, “President Trump is flipping dominoes.”

And I thought, you know, that was kind of weird, you know, but then I saw like

dominoes standing up, you know, end-on-end and they like on the edge and then

President Trump was taking his finger and he’d flip a domino and he would knock it down.

And I felt like the Holy Spirit was saying a domino or a person must fall before the next domino falls. Many have fallen. I have behind this one. But it’s actually, you know, one domino doesn’t fall until the one before it falls. So He says, “Many have fallen behind this one person. Many will fall.”

And the slang word for dominoes is drugs or bones or people. And I didn’t know that. Wow. Mhm. So, I feel like that the Holy Spirit, you know, with Trump flipping dominoes, one drug cartel has to fall before the next one falls before the next one falls.

And then he gave me this scripture, every animal of the field and force belongs to me, the creator. I know every movement of the birds in the sky and every animal in the field is in my thoughts. The entire world and everything it contains is mine, you know. And I was I was thinking about that. He knows every an he knows the movement of every bird. So doesn’t He know the movement of every cartel? Doesn’t He know the movement of every person under the sea? He knows their movement. And you know, I mean, that’s how wise our God is. He knows what’s going on. So we can just rest in Him and rest in his wisdom and in his faithfulness to set us free. His love looks like freedom.”

In view of the news of the publication of the Epstein files, on 2.2.2026 Veronika West posted on Ignite Ireland Ministry about visions she’d received some years ago, and wherein I comment:

“The ‘domino effect’ vision of our late sister Patsy Southway for May 2016 led me to understand it would result in trails of exposures of political rot and corruption in UK, USA & EU, with consequential several hundreds of postings on the falling ‘dominos’!”

Upon reading this item on Revd Canon Brett Murphy earlier and considering posting immediately after that on the new ‘archbishop’ I recalled the Lord’s command to “Come out of her” (Babylon, Rev 18.4):

‘A moving commissioning service of nine volunteer LGBTQIA+ chaplains in Salisbury Cathedral this evening. They will work across the diocese. It’s a ministry akin to that of paramedics, said the Dean in his sermon, showing the way in love and compassion. “You point the Church in the direction she must ultimately follow. We will not sustain our mission in the 21st century if we cannot act justly,” he said.’

I hope this famous cathedral has not been desecrated by flying satan’s false-rainbow pennants and now I’m reminded of this posted yesterday by our sister Veronika:

As soon as those Words were spoken, a Vision opened up to me, wherein I saw what looked like Sodom — and I saw what looked like Egypt!

Immediately, The Spirit of Revelation quickened to me Revelation 11:8,

Equation of US national breakdown outcome: rebellion in Minnisota

There’s been many developments since first postulating a ‘Societal Equation’ in July 2021 that led it to evolve into a Equation of US National Breakdown in America, and now we have some States’ governors and mayors seditious stance against President and federal authorities, viz:

“4 year’s attempted ‘soft coup’ + sedition + rigged elections + cyber-censorship + crooked law enforcement + unjust judges + anti-Trump trials + Covid-19 vax/masks + Jan 6th kangaroo court + unjust imprisonment + shredded records + judges against Executive powers + state and police failure to arrest, even releasing, criminals + governors’ and mayors’ sedition = civil war AND/OR martial law!”

For information on 9th January, 17:15, I posted on my Facebook timeline the reaction of a Minneapolis native who’d visited the protest site near the tragic ICE shooting, ‘giving one of the most clear-eyed, unsettling accounts of what’s actually happening on the ground — and why she believes this tragedy was entirely preventable’.

Subsequent sharing of many items and comments on the gravity of this controversial event tried to get to the actual facts of the death of a lady who refused to comply with a federal officer’s request to vacate her vehicle by reversing and then driving at a fellow officer, in whose split-second judgement of self-defence shot and killed her.

To any rational person the instigators of mass disobedience and protest against Constitutionally (and scripturally) legal authority are the ones who are culpable and whom our Holy Creator will hold personally accountable.

During a press ‘gaggle’ on-board Air Force 1, President Trump on 4th January says he’s considering invocation of The Insurrection Act of 1807, and wouldn’t be the first modern POTUS to do so.

This isn’t about compassion.
It’s about ideology so extreme that obedience to the law becomes optional.

Jigsaw Pieces PS: a personal full circle (27), insights on a ‘kairos moment’

EXTRA INSIGHTS

Previous post’s introduction to the 7th of latest round of jigsaw pieces in the Lord’s Invisible Jigsaw puts them in a spiritual framework I hadn’t previously perceived, which had been erected by the ‘Free’ church linked to the Baptist Union He put me in 36 years ago to get a good grounding in scripture – and later I got plugged into a prophetic socket through an inter-church prayer group, likewise training in healing and deliverance with Ellel Ministries.

As with completing a jigsaw, the New Year’s pause and mulling over matters helped me check December’s 7 pieces were fitting together and pleased to see a few connections with the bigger picture comprising 8 jigsaw pieces plus additional insights, as follows:

1. “HEBREWS 12.26” was a Holy Spirit ‘drop’ I heard inwardly 25 or more years ago. So I then read the contextual verses 25-29 and they’ve stayed with me to watch out for eventual fulfilment.

2. Moreover, pre- and post-New Year Saturday Mens’ Bible Breakfast had arrived at those very verses in our months-long working through the Book to the Hebrews; thus reinforcing my suspicion of their significance as a ‘kairos’ (now) prophetic scripture.

3. Mary K Dullforce’s comment as the 5th piece includes a prophecy she received in 2011 that was confirmed in a word Veronika West brought 5 years later. It took a while to dawn on me that both years are of personal relevance!

> 2011 fits into the 3rd piece in not only what Bill Johnson said recently, as shown in the screenshot, but also it was the year he was in London and I had a connected dream of the Kingdom being set up, all as recounted in Father, Let Your Kingdom Come!

> 2016 is when I was musing with the Lord over His exposing political rot and corruption in politics here and across the ‘pond’, on which this is 727th posting!

4. During worship yesterday I recalled the ‘sword vision’ of 12/12 , opened my Bible to read it and recalled two references to a sword coming out of Jesus’ mouth as seen by apostle John.

> THEN I got a double whammy in having said in the 1st piece the vision may have a bearing on Revelation 19:15, for the very same numerics relate to the principle of two or three witnesses’ testimonies establishing a matter > Deuteronomy 19:15.

> AND that sword verse not only repeats John’s first vision of it coming from Jesus mouth in Revelation 1:16 ‘He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword…’ – but it also endorses and echoes the foundational statement of testimony by there being TWO references within Revelation to that holy feature.

5. Yesterday, 3Counties Vineyard’s leader spoke about our Vision for 2026 – its 60th birthday – and mentioned having made a numerics printing error in citing Isaiah 61.1 (The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me…to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners...) instead of 60.1 (Arise, shine; For your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you! – NB verse 2: See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples.’ )
BUT it is a Holy Spirit ‘slip’ for both verses apply and the references at the start of those two chapters to ‘darkness’ connects into my open vision of 12/12 of darkness being cut by a sweeping bright yellow, or golden, double-bladed sword!

6. Upon revisiting the post about a Near Death Experience (NDE) I realise it must be a part of this bigger picture, but my focus had been on America as well as gathering the previous week into an orderly account to make some sense of what the Lord’s doing.

A kairos moment is defined as a divinely appointed or opportune time, distinct from the sequential, measurable passage of time known as chronos. It signifies a decisive, qualitative moment when circumstances align with a higher purpose, often marking a turning point for transformation, fulfillment, or action. In biblical contexts, kairos refers to the appointed time in God’s plan—such as when Jesus declared “the time is fulfilled” in Mark 1:15, indicating the arrival of the kingdom of God.
This concept extends beyond religious usage, appearing in classical rhetoric where it denotes the ideal moment for effective action, likened to the precise instant an archer can shoot an arrow or a weaver can pass a shuttle through fabric. The term is also applied in modern contexts to describe pivotal personal, spiritual, or societal moments—such as a sudden realization, a life-changing opportunity, or a collective shift in history—where decisive action can lead to lasting change. Jigsaw pieces cont’d (4): 2026 – A ‘Now’ Word for Nations in Divine Transition, Veronika West

BACKGROUND

During the events covered in this series on ‘The Lord’s sword – His Kingdom – Crusade – Shaking’ my initial focus upon Jesus’ prophesied rulership as King in Isaiah 9 and 11 made me recall, as in Cont’d (3), a spiritually significant personal event when in Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist) before moving to marry Nina in 2002.

One Sunday together with a GP and his wife, I silently went forward during pastor Barry Kirk’s teaching to bring verses the Lord had given. We didn’t know the details BUT were amazed to hear ourselves giving single verses of Isaiah 6 in sequence: 6, 7 and 8!

Also, my recent ‘God-incidental jigsaw pieces’ bring a double focus upon TFC. I didn’t return there until attending a meeting for the Prophecy Conference of February 2020 in Reading, and the eve-of-conference dinner. That’s when I met Veronika West and was amazed upon her telling me she’d been on the new pastor’s prophecy team! So, TFC is our common spiritual home.

Therefore, it’s most appropriate that what Veronika published on Dec 17th towards the close of my pre-Christmas events is another piece in this invisible jigsaw puzzle; maybe the pieces were queuing up – or ‘on cue’ – as Q is 17th letter of the alphabet.

Moreover, what the Lord gave Veronika applies to my open vision and its meaning…

I heard The Spirit of The LORD say ”Watch! 2026 will be a Year where the KING and His DOMAIN will be Established in Greater Power in the Earth Realm!
Watch! For in 2026, My Rule as King will be undeniable and every competing domain will be measured and weighed in the Balance and found wanting.
I say, Look — and Pay Close Attention for the Writing is on the Wall, ”Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin!”
For the Days have been Numbered, Weighed and Divided!
But I say, Watch!
2026 a Year of New levels of Experiential Knowledge, for like Job, many will say, ”I knew Him by the Hearing of my ear — but now my eyes have seen Him!”

Even as I hear the Spirit speak these Words to me, The Holy Spirit quickens to me, Isaiah 6 for 2026.

Isaiah 6 says,

“In the Year that King Uzziah died I saw also The LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple…
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly…
And one cried unto another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is The LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory….”
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke….
Then said I, “Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts….”
Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar…
And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, “Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged”.
Also I heard the voice of The LORD, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then said I, “Here am I; send me!”

And I hear The Spirit say, ”The Year 2026 will mark a radical shift — a Divine Turning and Unlocking in the Spirit realm!
A year when the Burning Coal of Isaiah Six (6) shall touch defiled Lips.
A Kairos Time of Greater Purging and Purification, Shaking and Awakening of Nations!
I say again! Watch! For I will display and establish My Kingly Domain through greater demonstrations and supernatural manifestations in the Earth realm!” says The LORD.
”And not just in hearts of men, but in Religious and Political Systems and Structures!
And where My Name has been used without a demonstration of My Kingly Nature, I will confront, uproot and tear down.
And Where My Power has been imitated by Illegitimate and defiled vessels without My Authority and Anointing, I will expose it and cut it off at the Roots.
And Where My Kingdom has been preached without true submission and surrender to The King, I will dismantle and destroy it from within.
Watch! For this will be a Year of the Threshing Floor!
Look! For there will be Signs in the Mighty Winds that shall Blow. Signs of a greater Sifting and Separation that has already begun.
I say, see, for what the Winds of My Seven Spirit have blown over in the Nation of Brazil — a replica of the Statue of Liberty — a Prophetic Sign that shall speak to the Times of Greater Political and Economic Upheaval and Divine Exposure.
Watch! What shall begin to take place in the days ahead as the Winds of My Seven Spirits begin to blow upon the “BRICS” in 2026.
Watch and Pray, as brick by brick, the Walls they have built shall surely fall, for again I yell you, Nations are now being Sifted, Separated and Shifted on the Threshing Floor!
Watch! As a Greater Shaking takes place, that will expose the rot in the roots and the deep and hidden faults in the Foundations of Nations.
For the Winds of My Seven Spirits shall blow and the Rains of My Spirit shall come as Cleansing Rivers and that which has been built on sand shall surely fall!
But that which has been built on the Rock shall stand as the violent shaking by My Righteous Right Hand brings forth Judgment and Retribution to the Enemies of My Chosen People and their Holy Land.
The Year 2026. Watch! The Rise of a New Breed of Apostolic and Prophetic Kings with Purified Lips, for in this Kairos Time, I AM raising up those who fear Me more than they desire worldwide influence.
I AM entrusting My Kingly Power and Authority to those who have learnt to be Trust Me in the silence as I have moved to bring Nations into Divine Order and Alignment.
For My Kingdom does not advance through Selfish Ambition or where there is a desire for man’s Approval and Recognition.
But My Kingdom is built and established through yielded vessels who have Ascended the High Places with clean hands and a pure heart!
See! For In 2026, I will Restore the Spirit of The Fear of The LORD to My People through greater Signs and Wonders — a Holy Reverence that shall produce the fruit of Radical obedience and deeper levels of Consecration and Intimacy with Me.
Watch! As the shakings Re-establish the Foundations of Covenant Nations — and as Broken-down Altars are rebuilt and restored, as Sacred Vows once abandoned are called back into Remembrance and take Deep Root.
For in 2026, I shall demonstrate that I AM a Covenant-keeping King Who shall not be mocked!” says The LORD,
“And I will require Greater Accountability for words spoken in My Name, for I AM releasing the Spirit Discernment like a sharp Sword, that shall pierce and penetrate the veil of deception and delusion.
Many will suddenly see what was once justified and even defended. They will now grieve what was once condoned and celebrated!
Watch! For I tell you, Divine Exposures will be Mercy, made manifest in the midst of them, for I have always desired True Repentance and a turning back before divine removals and retribution comes!” says The LORD.
“Yet I say, Watch and Obey! For I will not contend and strive forever with the Rebellious and stiff-necked!
For truly I tell you,” says The LORD, “My Kingdom is advancing and shall not be stopped!
My Kingdom is unshakeable ** and My Throne Immovable, and My Word will not return to Me void.
So I say again, Watch! Be still! Stand, and be clean — be Ready!
For the King and His Kingdom is not coming quietly in 2026!

The ongoing MASSIVE exposures of America’s political Deep State corruption makes the Russiagate hoax far, far worse than Watergate!

Its root lies in such seditious hatred it can only be part of satanic strategy and I’m not at all happy with claims of British Intelligence involvement – even complicit collusion – and of which I’ve read in-depth analyses elsewhere (eg Barbara Boyd).

This week I’d intended writing on what I saw in the spirit last Friday evening, but further eruptions of exposure news need to be handled (722 items already posted on this blog). Yet more immediately followed from Joe Hoft writing on how Svetlana Lokhova obtains her ‘breaking’ information on the Deep State from a certain man!

He notes professor Lokhova is a “British Historian and Eyewitness Exposing the Grand Conspiracy Against President Trump.” [Bio at Footnote]

‘Right after the death of democrat mouthpiece Rob Reiner and his wife were killed, Svetlana Lokhova located a video of Reiner conspiring with Deep State operators John Brennan and James Clapper. This showed how deep Reiner was in the Deep State’s attempted coup of the first Trump Administration.’
