New book: ‘The Pursuit of Pleasure – God: the ultimate delight’

I’m pleased to announce William Smith’s new book is now available and he tells me, “As well as the obvious content the cover speaks about, the theme of the visible reality of true unity also runs through its pages.”

My readers were introduced to Bill’s first book Feasting on Father in this post and I regret to say I’ve not yet dived into The Pursuit of Pleasure, but which is described as follows:

Pleasure – one of humanity’s basic and strongest forces. The feelings of enjoyment, satisfaction and meaning are extremely strong, and drive us to achieve them. Basically, we do what we do for the sake of pleasure. Given that we are created in the image and likeness of God, it must be that God desires pleasure. Since God is complete in every way, lacking nothing. His expressions of desire towards us must be to draw humanity into His pleasure.

In The Pursuit of Pleasure, Bill Smith seeks to encourage us towards a greater awareness and pursuit of God as pleasure, as an ultimate delight in the passionate love of our Father God. It also highlights the pleasure we have for His kingdom and how that permeates through our worship life, prayer life and relationship that we have with Him.

The Pursuit of Pleasure will also help us discover what type of pleasure is important and how we don’t have to live around the distorted version of pleasure that the world wants us to embrace. This is not a pursuit just for those who are above failure and weakness. It is the pursuit of all, especially those who know their frailty, while longing for relationship with the Father, a relationship that satisfies and yields peace and joy.

Bill’s book comes with strong recommendations and is available in printed and electronic format from Malcolm Down Publishing. He says a genuine sequel is in-hand which, had it been included, would have made ‘The Pursuit’ a tad too large.

We trust you will take the opportunity to peruse and draw close to our heavenly Father…

Jesus is the radiance of the Father’s glory

This is the song I refer to in my note covering Meet The Real God. It was often used in the worship at Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist) where the Lord introduced me to His word and Spirit’s giftings in my first 12 years as a believer.

It is based upon the usual translation of Hebrews 1:3, which is different to the Mirror Bible paraphrase of the Greek as quoted in the above post. You may be interested to know the literal Greek of the relevant part of that verse reads as follows:

‘…Who being from-radiance (effulgence) of-the esteem (glory) and carving (emblem) of the understanding (assumption) of-him carrying besides the all…’

This is one of the three hymns or songs featured during last Thursday-Friday’s soaking worship that happened to have been deeply connected with my journey towards, away from and return to Jesus and have thus deeply stirred my spirit. May this one bless you mightily too…

Meet the Real God

After Thursday evening’s soaking up gently jazzed-up worship I left Son-bathing to the song “Jesus, you are the radiance of the Father’s glory”, and confirmation of it came on Friday in Mike Parsons’ blog below. May you too be blessed with his excellent advice…

New for old

God is always doing new things.

Please understand that, as we said before, He is always the same, faithful and full of lovingkindness, and He has never changed. But when we engage Him intimately, He reveals Himself in continually new, surprising and sometimes even shocking ways.

“Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Now I declare new things;
Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you”
(Isa 42:9).

“Do not call to mind the former things,
Or ponder things of the past.
Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it,
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert”
(Isa 43:18-19).

God is revealing new things in our day, yet often we try to cling on to what is old, comfortable and familiar, just like…

About the Bible.

Biochemist Seymour Gart’s very amusing yet thought-provoking insight on how the Bible’s Author used (holy) ‘ghostwriters’! Many thanks Sy.

The Book of Works

“You guys are kidding, right?”

“What do you mean?”

“What do I mean? You are collaborating on a book. One of you writes the first chapter, the other writes the second. And so on”

“Right. That’s what we did.”

“Great. But tell me something. Did either of you read what the other one wrote?”

The two authors looked at each other, and then back at the editor.

“Um, well, I mean… Not in, you know, detail,” said the first author (we will call him P). “But I thought he did a fine job.”

“Really? Interesting. You thought he did a fine job. You (pointing at P) talk about man being created “male and female, He created them” on Day 6, and your friend here (pointing at Mr. J) talks about some guy made of dust and a woman made from his rib. Did you happen to notice that the two…

First they came for Tim Farron – soon they’ll come for you!

Tim Farron is not just a former leader of the Liberal Party; he has become a mirror in which we see our reflection as a society. He is gagged and sacked.

Revd Gavin Ashenden, a stalwart servant of the Lord in the CoE, brings a forthright alert to ALL Christians in Britain > First they came for Tim Farron – soon they’ll come for you.

Charles Shamp: Keep your eyes on Big Ben

Thank you to Suzanne Payne of UKPW for alerting me to yesterday’s posting on Charles Shamp’s Facebook and which aligns with similar recent words and visions, all of which are for weighing with the Lord and His Word. Moreover, unusually frequent, prolonged dropouts on the internet prevented my completing and linking the footnote!!! – maybe the prince of the air just doesn’t like what’s coming? Charlie writes:

Keep your eyes upon Big Ben something supernatural is about to be seen. . .

As I was praying today I was taken to Big Ben in London, England. I heard the Lord say,

“My eye is upon this land and my hand upon the nation’s time, a kairos moment is about to come! I will cause a sign to come from Big Ben that will mark the moment that I have changed the time and season for the nation of England and the city of London. Everything will stop and people will turn to see and hear. Tell my people to mark the moment when it comes to pass for it will be sign of great change in the land.”

Charles Shamp, 26th June’17

  • This famous symbol of Britain has featured increasingly in recent prophetic material, as shown under this blog’s Big Ben tag (click and scroll down posts).
  • It is not unprecedented for rare malfunctions or stoppages of the clock to happen at the same time as nationally relevant events; eg. on 27 May 2005 just prior to 40-days prayer for London called by Chuck Pierce after sighting sword over London prior to terrorist attack (see Library’s 2005: Big Ben Stops!).
  • That event was recalled by Revd Dr Sharon Stone in her ‘Clarion Call’ of 2013 about the need to get ‘in sync’ with heaven’s time and I surmised maintenance scheduled for 2017 could signify it’s time to get Britain back into proper working order, both politically and spiritually (see Significant Timing of Planned Stoppage of Big Ben).
  • 28/6 – I’d noted broadband was running at 1/3rd normal speed, which was probably a result of huge disruption caused by another cyber-attack across Europe & USA.

Cleansing and preparing for the Lord’s glory to visit Britain

Two very pertinent prophetical ponderings, courtesy of UK Prophetic Words posted 24th and 25th June respectively (editorial emphases mine):

Credit Glocar Matt, BBC Weather Watcher

There’s been a lot of comment about the cloud photo which appeared over Britain this week (as above). Allow me to give you my take on this:

At first I was quite amused by all the hype and, frankly, what I thought was foolish talk – until Holy Spirit nudged me. “And why can it not be from Me?”  He asked. “Do you not recall Elijah’s Cloud?” For a moment I thought He was pulling my leg but He added, “Not joking!”

So let me get this straight, a cloud that started on the horizon ‘as big as a man’s hand’ had now grown and taken on the shape of mainland Britain?

“Oh yes”, He said, “And it’s headed your way for a very good reason”. OK Lord, you’ve got my attention. This chat had suddenly gotten serious.

“Tell My people, I am sending the latter rain early because you are getting parched from hearing all the false and seriously gloomy news. There is a great need for a washing in My Spirit. That’s right, I am sending a WASHING IN MY SPIRIT in order to cleanse off the world’s dirt which is sticking to you!”

“The Cloud was sent as a warning to Great Britain that I am about to move as never before – cleansing and preparing for revival” said the Lord. “The cleansing will bring great realisation of the poor spiritual state of the nation. There will be much tearful repentance and restoration of almost forgotten callings and ministries. There will be a huge move among the young, and not so young, and an equipping for revival as never seen or recorded before.”

“Doesn’t My Word say that signs in the heavens will appear before you? Haven’t My servants the prophets warned you of this? The time has come for a national awakening such as never seen before nor even imagined. I have spoken. Is not My Word good? Has My Word ever fallen to the ground? Have you not prayed for this day and have I not now answered?”

“I am the Lord. Listen when I speak, and watch for My signs and wonders. I AM SENDING ALL THAT YOU HAVE ASKED FOR AND MORE – MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER THINK OR IMAGINE!”

Chris Bennett, 18th June’17

“Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord” – We all are familiar with the wonderful old hymn by Julia Ward Howe that starts with this line.

I was reminded of this when I sat, as I often do, just listening to whatever the Lord wanted to say to me. He brought these words to mind. Before I could ask the question, the Lord answered,

“I am about to bring my Shekinah glory into your meetings. I will bring the cloud of my presence before you. The few times I have done this before, my people have fallen on their faces before me. This time, I will cause one or two to stand up again. They will shine before you as Moses did when he came down from Mount Sinai where he was in my presence. These shall be my mantle carriers, whether healing, prophecy, teaching, hospitality, prayer, or whatever. My mantle shall be upon them and none shall claim otherwise.”

I was reminded of a vision I had about four or five years ago in which the Glory Cloud came into the church we were in at the time. I’ve since had the same vision set in our present church. There is no precedent for this, nor any preference other than for praying worshiping congregations. I don’t even think it has anything to do with where we are, or which church we are in. This COMING GLORY has everything to do with the hearts of those believers who cry out for such a visitation.

Holy trumpets announce release of the Lord’s ‘hidden flames’

This continues the word posted a week ago today on Heaven’s Trumpet Sounding Over the UK, my intro to which refers to a ‘God-incidental’ event; “these fresh words which, in my humble opinion, indicate what’s about to come here in Britain and on the broader international perspective – as I write that, an incoming email from a reader refers to blowing the trumpet as stated in the 2005 Vision for Great Britain of Wendy Alec.”

In view of that day’s dreadful news I delayed publication, but now publish with permission the email referred to above. It’s penned by Malcolm Sim and was forwarded to me for my weighing (!!), but immediately I spotted that appended remarks connect directly into what I was already blogging, as above:

I am releasing my hidden flames. They have been prepared in my secret place. They have become trained in close-quarter combat and know the spiritual weapons of warfare. They march together as one, keeping momentum at my pace. My timing is being announced with the blowing of my trumpets.

My flames will bring reformation, as the spirit of religion is faced head on. No quarter will be given, for this battle will be won, and I the victor, will collect MY people and lead them out of the place of shadow, and into my true light of salvation.

Chose this day whom will you serve. I have sent the blueprints of this battle to the prophets and intercessors. They have faithfully cried out and prophesied, even when they have been cruelly abused by the spirit of religion and its followers.

My flames can be seen as they move through this nation. They are coming from every village, town and city. You will see the flame of my fire as it descends from the hills, glens and mountain tops. My army is gathering.

It is time for you to put on your armour.

(NIV) Hebrews 11: 1-3 – Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

(NIV) Hebrews 11: 32-40 – And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

(NIV) Joshua 24:15 – But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

(NIV) Hebrews 1: 7 – In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits,
and his servants flames of fire.

(NIV) Romans 13: 11-12 – And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.

Malcolm Sim, Fire Ministries International, House of the Prophetic, Elgin, Scotland. Scottish Registered Charity, SC 046412

Lynne Holder adds:

Malcolm I read this this morning before I went to the hairdressers and whilst in there I started reading through Wendy Alec’s 2005 Prophecy – July 2005 Urgent Call to Pray for Great Britain. Under the heading ‘I Am About To Blow The Trumpet’, 3rd paragraph:

“Yes – my burning fire shall be ignited in the furthermost parts of the North – and my glory shall light a flame, says the Lord, that shall sweep across divides and denominations – and the Pentecostals, the Evangelicals, the Anglicans, the Methodists, the Catholics and all who revere My Name and the sacrifice of My Son, shall unite with one heart and as one Body – and that flame shall be seen across this land – and the cities and the villages of this nation shall start to burn with the fervency and the hunger of the Living God. For even as My Church has been bound by the shackles of compromise and passivity – I tell you that in this coming day and in this coming hour MY FIREBRANDS SHALL START TO RISE.”

Something clicked immediately so checked when I got back, hence the comment. Thank you for posting. (Amen to that. RB)

What’s the ‘Proper Time’?

Time for my readers to get another update on how scientists view time (see Scripture & Science hub). Here, theoretical physicist Mekhi reminds us, “the theory of Special Relativity refutes (time’s) absolute existence”. NOW that fact has already been well-known from the days of Jesus Christ’s first followers because His lead-disciple Peter wrote, “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: with the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day” (2 Peter 3:8 NIV).
I submit, nevertheless, that the concepts of ‘proper time’ and its associated ‘world-line’, ‘world-sheet’ and world-volume’ could be a way into scientifically grasping how the scriptural equivalent of Newtonian, classical laws of action and reaction – ie. sowing and reaping (Gal 6:7-9 ‘rule of life’) – manifest spiritually as well as materially through generations. Also, events of modern history foretold in biblical prophecy may come into such a study. Mmm, most interesting Mekhi, thank you very much.

Rationalising The Universe

Today’s post revisits one of my favourite themes in Theoretical Physics – time. In previous posts we’ve looked at the idea of the present and how the theory of Special Relativity refutes its absolute existence – and we’ll be drawing on this idea again here. Today I want to discuss the idea of ‘proper time’ and tell you what it is, alongside a deeper explanation of the geometry  of spacetime.

Back in the day it was believed by many, including the great Newton who put together the three laws of motion, that time was absolute. This meant that wherever you went in the universe, a clock at one end of the cosmos would be ticking in synchronisation with one at the other. As though, there was a universal time, running on an almighty clock in the sky and all other clocks in the cosmos would adhere to its pace…

Time to take a stand against fascism of ‘Christophobia’

First, let’s recall a prediction that applies to everybody no matter who, because it comes from the one who is The Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10). Thus it’s true information about our personal post-mortem state of play:

“I tell you my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. Be afraid of him who, after killing the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him…I tell you, whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven and the angels of God. But who disowns Me before men will be disowned before My Father in heaven and the angels of God. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven!” (Luke 12:4-10 with Matthew 10:32-3 NIV)

Having no time for Antichrist spirit’s influence within politics I admire anyone attempting to practise and apply their faith within government. Although I don’t support his policies I’ve noticed Tim Farron’s evangelical faith wobble under frequent vicious attacks by reprobate souls within his party and the media (Stop banging on about my faith). So I have huge admiration for his decision announced last night:

“To be a political leader – especially of a progressive liberal party in 2017 – and to live as a committed Christian, to hold to the Bible’s teaching, has felt impossible for me.

“I seem to be the subject of suspicion because of what I believe and who my faith is in. In which case we are kidding ourselves if we think we yet live in a tolerant, liberal society. That’s why I’ve chosen to step down as leader of the Liberal Democrats.” (Telegraph, emphasis RB.)

Were Tim a Muslim, he’d have been safe because the nampy-pamby brigade would have been silent through fear of criminal prosecution under hate speech and ‘Islamophobia’. In my opinion, churches should start lobbying government to introduce the crime of ‘Christophobia’ – ie. all expressions of hatred against Christians and their beliefs.

But that brigade think they can get away with intimidating and persecuting anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and His true teachings. (That is, REAL Christianity, not the oxymoronic concept of thinking it’s ok to be LGBT-etc and disobey scripture and Jesus’ commands. Such confused folk think Jesus has changed His mind – like the Muslim deity abrogates its teaching – and permits disciples to follow Him, even to expect to be ‘married’ in ‘church’ – ie. an apostate one!). Poor lost souls – acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord means doing what He says. He strongly warned them that many who call Him ‘Lord’ won’t be allowed into His Kingdom simply because they choose not to follow his instructions, as told in the previous post by my dear namesake.

Cyber-‘Archbishop Cranmer’ covers Tim’s news with a denunciation of failures to support him by fellow believers in the LibDems and by Archbishop Justin Welby’s lamenting too late – see It’s not that Christians can’t lead political parties; it’s that Evangelical Christians can’t lead the Liberal Democrats. Blogger Adrian Hilton concludes,

‘Tim Farron is indeed honourable and decent, and he has honourably and decently concluded that it is not possible to be a Christian and lead a political party in the modern era (not, as the Archbishop of Canterbury states, that “he can’t be in politics”). Yet a Christian leads the Conservatives. A Christian leads the DUP. A Christian led Ukip, and Labour, and the SDLP and the UUP. But these Christians tend to hold a view of their faith which coheres with the majority of their party: some are more secular-liberal; others more orthodox and robust. What Tim Farron has established is not that it’s impossible to be a Christian and a Liberal Democrat, but that it’s not possible to be an Evangelical Christian and lead the Liberal Democrats. It’s an important distinction which appears to have escaped the journalistic commentary on this matter.

But here’s a thing. If, as the Archbishop of Canterbury states, the media and politicians have questions to answer over Tim Farron’s forced resignation for daring to think and believe differently on abortion and homosexuality, do not the media and bishops have questions to answer over Philip North’s forced resignation for thinking and believing differently on the ordination of women? Does his treatment not stem from the same totalitarian intolerance of theological difference, and form part of the same drive to impose a kind of gender-sexuality moral uniformity?‘ (Emphasis mine.)

A couple of days ago Tim Stanley’s opinion piece It Has Become Politically Toxic To Be A Christian (‘premium’ content) was published in which he says,

‘I’m writing in response to anger at the DUP coming to the rescue of Theresa May. As a Catholic, I should be flattered by the liberals’ righteous fury: the Protestant DUP are the stuff of sectarian nightmares. But I notice that far more has been written about the DUP’s views on sexuality than their views on the Pope. They have failed the modern religious test, which is to say they have the cheek to still believe in God in 2017…

‘(Tim Farron) was probably inclined to ignore the question because it is, strictly speaking, irrelevant. Like the vast majority of Christians, Tim is constitutionally liberal: he doesn’t want to tell others how to live, he just wants the freedom for everyone to live in peace.

‘But that’s not good enough now. You can’t simply tolerate. You must celebrate. If you don’t, there’s no place for you in politics…

‘One might ask why the religious ethics of Belfast matter at all: social issues are a devolved question. But when the DUP marched into the limelight, liberals saw a chance to attack their biblical literalism and reaffirm that it is they – not the rednecks in the pews – who define what is and isn’t acceptable in 21st-century Britain.

I’m amazed that after the last few days the DUP are still willing to help the mainland out. They’ve been subjected to every “violent paddy” stereotype going, including from socialists who have an otherwise rosy view of the IRA…

‘The frustrating thing is that very few liberals are prepared to meet religious folk where they are. Arlene Foster, leader of the DUP, says one reason why she won’t soften her position on gay marriage is because of the “vicious” abuse she’s received for it.

Britain’s social divisions are thus accentuated by a refusal to acknowledge not only that people have other opinions but that they have the right to hold those opinions.’ (Emphases mine.)

Taking another tack: a year after the murder of Jo Cox MP and in honour of her proud independence and nonconformity in raising difficult issues for government, the senior editors of the Guardian and the Telegraph met to discuss and further the freedom of the press in investigating those who abuse their positions of power. Although of differing persuasions, both editors had no hesitation to unite in standing up for George Orwell’s insight (author of the futuristic fable of fascism, 1984):

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they don’t want to hear.”

This means freedom of speech to express one’s opinion, whether or not others may hold different, legitimate views.

EG. Felix Ngole is a Christian student who has been removed from his university social work course after commenting on his personal Facebook page in support of biblical teaching on marriage and sexual ethics. He writes, “I was thrown off my master’s course in social work because I expressed the bible’s teaching on sexual ethics, on Facebook and was told that my beliefs made me unfit to practise as a social worker. With help from the Christian Legal Centre, I tried to get the decision reversed but Sheffield University refused. Even before I had finished my course, I was effectively ‘barred from office‘. I had to challenge this decision, because freedom is at stake. And with CLC support, we went to the High Court. I praise God that the High Court agreed that Sheffield University’s decision could be scrutinised. Felix now asks, “Will you join me in standing for free speech?”

We know from BBC Watch how the badly biased BBC always blames Israel for anything in the Middle-East (see 6-Day War). The once distinguished corporation has thus become unreliable as a source of news and many morally deficient programmes. Therefore, it’s no surprise to learn about satan’s spirit of mockery presiding there, as shown via the once respected and intelligent presenter John Hymphry’s remarks about Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party (BBC Mocks Pro-marriage Pro-life Views). Haughty smirks and laughter will vanish when finding he’s not acknowledged in heaven; not even getting a “Depart from me you who practise lawlessness”?

To return to some sanity read the CI’s overview Evangelicals Defend DUP, which briefly covers the link on the DUP at the close of this blog’s Fulfilled Prophecies #21.

In view of yesterday’s word on A Holy Shaking for London and the news of Tim Farron’s resignation perhaps it’s no coincidence that Kensington’s dreadful towering inferno was dubbed in one paper today as ‘Hell On Earth’ (as herein)!!

SO it’s well-nigh time we Christians stand up against the bigotry of our adversary’s fleshly cohorts for, as scripture foretells, they’re on the losing side! May each and every one of them be blessed with their own ‘Damascus road’ experience of meeting the living Christ.

Luke 6 – the teaching of Jesus Christ is the foundation for life

Although one of my many favorite verses, this reminds me to heed and apply Jesus’ wise guidance…and so timely (per next post). Thanks Richard

The Little Book of Providence

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:   He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell.[i] And the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:46-49)

A children’s chorus comes to mind as I read this passage: The wise man built his house on the rock – but what is the rock? “So build your house on…

Powerful word calling for prayer as the holy shaking continues

London, my beloved city, my heart aches for you! Do you not know, have you not heard, the Lord, He is the everlasting God! He is the hope of the Nations! How He longs to rise upon you with healing in His wings! He longs to restore the ancient ruins and raise up the former devastations. Oh London – beloved city! Wake up! Hearken unto the voice of the Lord! Return to Him! Return to Him while there is hope. For the shakings are coming, and are already upon you.

My people, who are called by my name, will you humble yourselves, and call out to me at this time? Will you cry out all the more? I long to forgive your sins and heal your land. Keep praying! Do not hold back. For surely I have heard your cries for your nation. Keep believing. Keep praying – for surely I am coming! Do you not perceive it? Even in the midst of chaos, and tragedy, I am humbling hearts. I am causing hearts to unlock. I am causing eyes to look up. I am restoring the fear of the Lord.

London – the City that is so proud of getting on with ‘business as usual’ will be brought to its knees in repentance. There will be no business as usual when I sweep through your streets and dwellings like a flood. For I will bring a Holy Chaos to your Capital. You will know when it comes. Everything will come to a standstill when I come in my Power and turn everything upside down.

All the plans of man will be laid waste. People will rush to the churches looking for the people of God, as they rushed to Joseph in the time of famine. The people will come looking for bread! They will leave their desks and their computers and their board rooms and will come begging for bread. You must make sure there is enough bread in the storehouse! The bread they will need is my word. They will need to hear the wisdom of the people of God. They will come searching for truth.

Even now I am whetting appetites. I am stirring up a hunger and thirst in the lost and the broken. They will grow weary of the world having no answers. They will grow desperate for a light in the darkness. But first the shakings are going to come. Pray for mercy. Pray for a spirit of repentance to come quickly. Pray for the government to be humbled. For I WILL bring beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness. I am the Lord! I alone can do these things.

  1. Angela is known to me through my contacts on this blog and this came via UK Prophetic Words whilst reading about yesterday’s tragic ‘towering inferno’ in London and my preparing to blog about Tim Farron ‘coincidentally’ stepping down as leader of the ‘Liberal’ Democratic party and standing up for his faith in Jesus Christ – well done brother.
  2. Maybe the Lord is teaching me a grim kind of discernment for prayer in view of two ‘God-incidental’ references: 1st – the Great Fire of London (as at foot of this post on the spiritual battle raging over Britain); 2nd – my memory of the brooding murderous menace over Manchester area (at start of this post) a few hours before children and parents were murdered at a concert in the Manchester Arena.
  3. Significantly, the last item was on a “Two-Minute Warning” from the Lord!!!
