‘A prominent Lebanese Sunni scholar just said the quiet part out loud about who Iran’s regime actually targets.

𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐤𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐛, a Lebanese Sunni Islamic figure frequently translated and featured for his hardline critiques of Tehran, declared Supreme Leader 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐢 is “not a 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺𝘳” but a “m∗rderer” who has “k∗lled more Sunnis than Israel k∗lled in Gaza,” adding Sunnis “𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴.”

Al-Moraib has repeatedly accused Khamenei’s regime of sacrificing Sunni lives while staying safe itself — from the massacre of Baluch Sunnis in Zahedan to what he calls Iran abandoning its own Gaza and Lebanon proxies rather than risk direct confrontation with Israel.

The clip shows raw grief among Lebanese Sunnis mourning what they call 𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐫𝐢𝐚 they blame on Iran and its allies — grievance coming from inside the Muslim world, not from Jerusalem or Washington.

REMINDER: GRAND MOSQUE IN MECCA STRUCK ELEVEN YEARS AGO

In Why this September (2015) is Special: Update 2 – Islam I write:

‘On 14th anniversary of this century’s ‘day of infamy’ for New York [11 September 2001] I noted another event seemed to connect into the collapse of the Twin Towers – as well as possibly being of God, or was it simply coincidence?  Lightning from a severe thunderstorm in Mecca struck a tall crane, which collapsed into the Grand Mosque thereby killing and injuring hundreds.

The construction engineer is quoted as saying, “It was an act of God”. A ‘very saddened’ British imam is reputed to have said, “It’s a blessing in disguise for those killed”. Four days later Saudi Arabia’s King Salman suspended contracts for the construction company, which is owned by the Bin Ladin family!

Nevertheless, it ‘struck’ me that it’s a mirror ‘action replay’ on the 14th anniversary of the attack upon America, inspired as it was by the teachings and practices of the Meccan founder of Islam. That is, the very heart of the homeland and faith of those modern religious plotters and perpetrators was visited by an almost similar ‘toppling of a tower’. Also, my first impression was of The Almighty throwing down the gauntlet to confront satan.

It’s far, far too uncanny not to be of poignant significance!’
