Celebrating England’s Saint George’s Day

I’m reminded of the second of 7 pre-Christmas jigsaw pieces entitled ‘Crusade’ – and the first of which was an open vision of a sword – wherein I write,

‘ Next day saw the Putting Christ Back Into Christmas worship rally in central London, to take a stand against the anti-Christ spirit that’s arisen in and dominating Britain….

Christian People’s Alliance UK Facebook item notes ‘St George was a 3rd-century Roman soldier born in Cappadocia (modern Turkey) who was martyred around 303 AD for refusing to renounce his Christian faith during Diocletian’s persecution. He was lauded by Kings of England for what he did.’

NB. After the Roman destruction of Jerusalem’s second Temple in AD70 and the Bar Kokhba Revolt in the 2nd century, Emperor Hadrian removed the province’s name Judaea and adopted the existing Greek geographical term Palaistinê, and renamed the province as Syria-Palaestina to erase Jewish ties to the land!  A nation of Palestine has never existed.

Very interesting historical coverage including Muslim recognition of the character and legend may be read in Wikipedia’s Saint George, wherein I note ‘ The Church of Saint George in Lydda, now Lod in Israel, has a sarcophagus traditionally believed to contain St. George’s relics.’

‘Last November, Dia Moodley, a Christian pastor, was peacefully sharing his faith on the streets of Bristol — something he has done for years.

For this, he was arrested by police on suspicion of “inciting religious hatred” under the Public Order Act 1986, despite merely sharing his beliefs.

Pastor Dia, who lives with a heart condition, was held in a police cell for eight hours before being released under bail conditions that banned him from preaching in the city over Christmas.

Although those bail conditions were later dropped after Pastor Dia made representations to the police, the situation did not end there. In January, two police officers visited his home, questioned him further about the November incident, and invited him to attend a voluntary interview under caution.

Pastor Dia attended the interview and, astonishingly, was questioned about whether it was appropriate for a Christian to share his biblically held convictions on the topic of gender ideology.

The pastor was also asked why he preached in an area where he supposedly knew Muslims would be present, referring to the city centre of Bristol. Pastor Dia preached to all people present in the busiest area of the city, as is his lawful right.

He is now waiting to learn whether he will be criminally charged for his peaceful expression.

ADF International is providing legal support for his criminal defence and as he considers legal action against the police for violating his free speech rights.

Shockingly, this is the second time police have arrested Pastor Dia for peaceful street preaching…’

On the AI image of Donald Trump as healer of America

Readers who follow my Facebook may have seen my few comments on the controversy over the AI image of Donald Trump as a healer. As expected, a men’s breakfast Bible study group flagged it up on WApp discussion but I didn’t want to be distracted and kept quiet as they echoed the opinions of outrage in extensive comments. Then I comment:

‘My tuppence worth:
Holy Writ states WE followers are to be like Jesus and do the works He did – EVEN greater! (John 14:12, which is why I gave up on church as a child because nobody was doing those works and far too busy quarrelling!!).
So the picture isn’t DJT replacing or being Jesus, certainly NOT God, but being and doing what you and I should, “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the REVEALING OF THE SONS OF GOD’!!! (Rom 8:19).’

Of the many commentaries I’ve dipped into as and when possible I strongly recommend this published on World Watch Daily which I was happy to find supports my remarks.

“Musing over this and the furore over the picture of President Trump as a healer I note the Lord is sorting the wheat from the chaff, and in my quiet time before reading this word I recalled 1 Peter 4.17 applies on judgement beginning with the Church! (LOL how appropriate as 17th letter of alphabet is ‘Q’)

‘For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and ‘if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?’

Also, recall Lance Wallnau prophecy of Trump as ‘wrecking ball’, so this may demolish pharisaical church to leave the Holy remnant moving in Holy Spirit power.”

I say, do not be moved by the approval of the crowds that praise you today and will seek to crucify you tomorrow, for I tell you, the fear of man is a snare.

Seek only to do My Will!

I tell you again — I raise up whom I will, whom I choose, and I use whom I choose — and often in ways that confound the wise and offend the proud.

Beloved, stay the course! Stand steady! Stay unmoved!

There will always be those who will cry out over things of little substance, yet neglect the weightier matters of My Truth and Righteousness…

So I say, do not be distracted! Keep your focus on the Mandate I have given you, ‘For such a Time as this!’

Son, Listen! Pay Attention!

Resist pride! Walk in humility and seek My Wisdom — for I tell you — your life and your time in Office depends on it.

Guard your heart from bitterness and your mouth from speaking foolishly.

Honour Me — and My Favour shall rest upon you and preserve your life.

Understand this, the relentless opposition you face does not mean My Presence is absent or that My Hand is short or to weak to save.

For I have allowed this resistance to Refine you, to Refashion and Reform you into a Mighty Wreaking Ball and a Battering Ram against the forces of Hell.

My Beloved, look up, look to Me and see!

For My Grace is sufficient for thee — and you will endure and overcome in Victory.

Following on from yesterday’s online reading and discussions a meditation upon Verse Of The Day, Hebrews 1:3 and its blessed context God’s Supreme Revelation (NKJV)

‘The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.’

Afterwards the first incoming notification led to this video. Unusually, I took time to listen at speed and learned Tomi heard a word THREE years ago on ‘MADMAN!’ – akin to Jael.

Jesus’ Burial Face-cloth: Case Closed! – Veronika West

MOST interesting find this morning posted at 16:22 yesterday, along with my ‘212’ old childhood ‘Visitation’ address as my closing words in our church “He’s Risen!” pre-service prayers with leader and worship team were, “He’s returning!”

“Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself.” John 20:6-7.

When I saw the above picture and began to read about the significance of the burial Face-Cloth being neatly folded, and how it speaks of Jesus coming back, The Holy Spirit began to open up another Prophetic layer of Revelation to me.

The burial Face-Cloth was not only used to cover the Face — but also the Head — and as I looked and read about how it was set apart and folded with careful intention by Jesus, I heard The Spirit say, ”Case closed!”

The neatly placed burial Face Cloth — Yes! — does speak of His return — but I submit prophetically, that it also speaks of ”Divine Completion — Case Closed! — Nothing left undone — Nothing Pending or Outstanding — Nothing Missing or lacking!”

It speaks of a Comprehensive and Decisive End, and a Victorious New Beginning and all at the same time.

It marks a clear line of Divine Distinction being drawn between the Old and the New.

The Old Identity (Face-Cloth), shaped by sin, fear, limitations, shame and death — which do not carry over into Resurrection!

We know that the Old does not Transition. It does not evolve and it certainly does not survive the Power of the Blood of Jesus shed at The Cross.

The Old is brought to an End!

The Old Identity was not simply Improved or managed — or dare I say ‘repaired’ — as it was dealt a mighty Death Blow, and complete transformation took place, so that what emerges from the darkness of the Tomb is a New Creation in Christ.

A Spiritual Metamorphosis took place, and so what was left behind in the Grave, did not define what walks out of it!

Ha! What remained was a New Identity — a New and Transformed Kingdom Identity born out of Resurrection Life itself.

Absolutely nothing of the Old Life could remain. Nothing of self-effort could stand.

This New Resurrected Identity is not something we could ever strive to become — it is who we are now in Christ!

The neatly folded Burial Covering of the Face and Head

I submit, the neatly folded Burial Covering of the face and head also speaks to the Realm of the Mind.

I heard these Words, ”The tomb became a womb which brought to birth greater life and true Kingdom Identity!”

The Battle of the Mind was dealt a decisive blow at The Cross and through the Power of the Resurrection.

In its place emerged the Renewed and Transformed Mind of Christ — the place of True Spiritual Perception, Vision and Understanding — and the place from which True Kingdom Identity as Sons is revealed.

The Mind that was once ruled and governed by the limitations of the flesh has been removed, and in its place is the Mind of Christ.

This is a Complete Paradigm Shift!

  • A New way of Seeing!
  • A New way of Thinking!
  • A New way of Understanding!

No longer a Mind shaped by the systems of this world — and no longer shaped by the cycles and seasons of the past — but now fully Reformed and Renewed through Union with Him in Resurrection Life and Power!

So, when people look at us, they are not meant to see the residue of who we once were.

But now they encounter the Outworking of Resurrection Power made manifest.

They encounter His Life expressed — His Character and Nature revealed — His Authority and Power made visible through a yielded and surrendered Vessel.

I believe, this is the True Essence of the Godhead being made manifest through a Chosen Remnant who have become ONE with Him — in death — in burial and in Resurrection Life!

Friends, this is the New Kingdom Identity that reflects Him not in part, but in fullness of the God-Head.

And it is here that the folded Burial Face-Cloth declares it with Authority and Power.

Our redemption is not pending — our Victory is not still coming — it is HERE!

It is NOW — and It is actively bringing forth greater measures and ever-increasing degrees of Glory being made manifest through the Sons.

The Work is finished! The Price is fully paid!

The power of death and the grave no longer has a Voice or a Legal Claim!

The “Case is Closed!”

Revival is here! Restoration is here! Vindication is here!

His Return is imminent!

HE IS RISEN! – Time and Quantum effects in Jesus’ Resurrection

First published in the early years of this blog and annually thereafter with a few updates:

In preparation for the Holy-days’ weekend Nina creates a tableau for contemplating Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. She’s inspired about what items to collect and arrange, usually including a rock with a central hole eroded by the sea and which we found on a beach. It serves as both the ‘skull’ and garden tomb of Golgotha. For example, the above display has a scarf as a ‘river of life’ flowing out of the empty cave/tomb below the cross. (In 2012 it gave an insight that I’ll share below.)

Maundy Thursday is celebrated as the night when Jesus and His twelve, principal disciples ate the Passover Seder, or meal, in advance of the main schedule in order to be ready for His being the sacrificial Lamb of God.

Following the meal, one disciple betrayed Him by leading Temple guards to capture Him at night for trial by a ‘kangaroo’ court of Jewish leaders. It was a foregone conclusion that they’d demand authorisation of His death from Pontius Pilate, the Roman Prefect, or governor, of Judea.

If you’re unfamiliar with this true story and how it led to Jesus’ gruesome torture, death and burial followed by his amazing bodily resurrection and appearance to His disciples, read doctor Luke’s investigative account and the personal account of Jesus’ closest disciple John.

Later, Saul of Tarsus, a Jewish leader violently opposed to them, had a life-changing encounter with the Ascended Jesus en-route to Damascus. He became known as Apostle Paul and wrote that Jesus had been seen simultaneously by over 500 people post-Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:6 refers).

HEAVEN’S & HUMAN HISTORY’S PIVOTAL TIME

Jesus Christ died so that each of us may be forgiven for our sins. As a result of this new status, we can have direct personal access to Almighty God when we believe in Jesus Christ. As the Son of God, Jesus suffered on our behalf as our ‘scapegoat’. That is, Jesus took the place of death that we deserved because of our sinfulness, for the shedding of a sinless one’s blood was the only way our status could be changed for us to gain personal salvation. Paul explains it this way to the early church in the Rome:

8But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. (Romans 5:8-11, NIV, see whole chapter.)

Now, when I was a new Christian I found that rather hard to understand – but it works! The theological term is ‘atonement’, or ‘substitutionary atonement’. In bringing forgive-ness to the guilty, however, this can cause deep problems for those who’ve been the victim of crimes. After all, why should a killer find forgiveness by God? And what about the victim’s families, or the victim of abuse? They find it very hard if well-nigh impossible to forgive.

In 2012 I heard a Portsmouth prison chaplain address this issue with a concept taken from the criminal justice system: restorative justice. This involves an active dialogue between victim and offender, plus reparation. And it has a sound basis in theology. How?

Jesus was a guiltless victim, directly of those who wanted Him killed, and indirectly of everyone’s ‘fallen state’ of sinfulness, which could only be rectified by His death.

And Almighty God, the Father, is a victim too. How? He’s victim of humanity’s rebellion against Him. For example and especially over the way religious leaders murdered His son – how they seethed with rage when Jesus denounced them! (read Luke 20:9-19). So, every victim can find an identity and affinity in both God and Jesus Christ in their situation. Hence, they can receive God’s own ability to forgive because He will help them choose to forgive those who’ve harmed them. [Lack of forgiveness may be the only thing that hampers God – see Matt 6:14-15]

A TABLEAU IN TIME

During contemplation upon the tableau illustrated above, an insight dropped into mind that the Resurrection created a distinct point in the flow of, or perhaps even a change in, Time itself. That is, the now termed ‘common era’ calendar is the medieval Christian one that counts years from the approximate birth of Christ as ‘anno Domini’. But in fact, a more powerful one would be the point at which things in heaven changed and thus affected our lives on earth and its ultimate role in God’s scheme of creation. This took place at the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His revival to life from death itself.

That such a concept may be valid can be found in the discoveries about the material of ‘The Shroud of Turin’, the shroud in which Jesus was thought to have been carried and covered during His interment. It is of most astounding significance when examined from the view-point of modern physics.

Apart from the supra-natural or spiritual aspect, that unique, singular event could have naturally happened by means of a ‘singularity’ (a theoretical gravitational effect associated with ‘black holes’, eg. as may have been the starting point of the creation of the universe, or ‘Big Bang’).

Don’t take my word for this but consider that of Dame Isabel Piczek (deceased 2016), famous as a monumental artist and award-winning figurative draughtswoman. Her highly detailed analysis of theories about how the image on the shroud was formed is authoritative, as in the first of several detailed articles here.

Also, as a physicist who may have considered implications from a quantum mechanics standpoint, her conclusions about how the image was formed are most intriguing: it seems that the image of Jesus can only have been created by its hovering equidistantly above and below his reclining bent corpse. Furthermore, this necessitated the body’s levitation – perhaps not an impossible feat during the moment of the Resurrection power-blast?

After all, the disciples had already witnessed Jesus walking on water but were yet to be surprisingly but joyously stunned Him by His turning up in their midst, materialising, in a private room behind closed doors for fear of the Jews (John 20:19) – maybe quantum dynamics principle of ‘tunnelling’, as in On Engaging and Governing Time, came into play? – then forty days later watch Him flying bodily upwards into the clouds!

Dame Isabel succinctly summarises:

We have a piece of cloth and it leads us to a mysterious gate which opens for us, and it lets us see a completely different world, an extraordinary world with extraordinary laws.

‘Coincidentally”, just after having read the last link and revised the preceding references to science (post published 5 years ago), I’m alerted to theoretical physicist Mehki’s new post on ‘black holes’ and ‘event horizons’ (see Looking to the Horizon). The discussion thread has a valuable contribution from ‘physical reality blog’ that’s pertinent to the Shroud site’s discussion of Dame Isabel’s analysis and indirectly reconnects it back into quantum physics!

2017: ‘Coincidentally’ amusing that bloggers ‘hidden’ on opposite sides of the world (Britain and New Zealand) were preparing items on the fabrics that Jesus Christ was buried with – the full-body shroud and the head linen – in Joseph of Arimathea’s private tomb. My post updated on Wed 12 April 2017 was scheduled on Thurs 13th for auto-publication Sun 16 April. Jesus’ Crucifixion described within the Holy Name of God

According to Steve Maltz, author of God’s Signature, the only time the sacred, personal Name of God was spoken by the ancient Israelites was during worship in the Temple in Jerusalem, and especially on the Day of Atonement when the High Priest pronounced it ten times.

The Talmud has many warnings about using the Most Holy Name – it is also regarded as having special powers of healing. Apparently knowledge of its pronunciation was lost after the fall of the Temple in AD70 prophesied by Jesus Christ (Matthew 24).

The knock-on effect of that event, together with the Roman Church’s withdrawal in the third Century of financial support for churches in the Holy Land founded by Jesus’ own ‘kith and kin’, or ‘Desposyni’ as recounted herein, was the great loss of a full understanding of the Church’s Hebraic roots.

Hence the confusion and doctrinal disagreements over Jesus claiming, “I am in the Father and the Father is in me!” (John 14:10).

Digging deeper we encounter an astonishing revelation of that double-identity!

From translations of Hebrew, the post-Shakespeare English-speaking world referred to God’s Name as ‘Jehovah’ or ‘LORD’ (letter ‘J’ was then starting to replace ‘i’). However, Jews preferred well-known descriptive titles such as ‘Elohim’ – God, in all the fullness of His attributes; ‘El Shaddai’ – Almighty; ‘El Sabaoth’ – Lord of heavenly hosts; or Adonai’ – Lord, and more often than not the reverent term ‘Ha Shem’ (The Name) sufficed.

Scribes, or sopher, needed to take special care in praying before writing the holy name, which must be done without interruption. Were a mistake made, it must not be corrected but the whole page discarded and the page restarted. Numbering had to be carefully handled too because Hebrew characters represented both letters and numbers. So the logical way of writing 15 is to add a yod (ie 10) to a hey (ie 5) and likewise for 16 (a yod to a vav). But this never happened because, as part of the sacred name, they could accidentally be read as this name. The Holy Name is shown below, but read from right to left:

Ha Shem

“Yod-Hey-Vav-Hay” first appears in ‘The Book of Beginnings’ account of  “When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens” (Genesis 2:4)

This Name was first revealed when Moses encountered God in the burning bush after he’d asked Him whom should he tell the Israelites had sent him to get them out of their slavery in Egypt.

God replied, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you’. ” (Exodus 3:14)
Steve writes, “Interestingly and contrary to popular belief, the Hebrew word used in this passage…is not YHVY (he shows Hebrew characters). So, what’s going on here? Is it His name or isn’t it? In this Exodus passage, the word used for His name is “Aleph-Hey-Yod-Hey”.

“This takes the meaning of “I will be”…(which) shares a similar three-consonant root with YHVY in Hey-Vav-Hey and Hey-Yod-Hey…and as they’re related are both ways of describing God”.

Hence my liking of describing God as “Always” and “Now”, the latter being used by Charlie Shamp too.

HOLY FATHER-SON UNION REVEALED & THE CRUCIFIXION FORETOLD

As in those preceding links, literary Hebrew developed out of pictographic forms that represent gestures and their meanings. We logically surmise both original visual and later written forms were known to and, therefore, used by the Lord in communicating with Abraham and his descendants through Issac and Jacob, and used by Moses and his scribes in compiling the first five books of the Bible.

Comparing the literary and pictorial forms of the name Moses heard and recorded as being from the Lord, we have this graphic (credit Heart To Heart):

Hebrew is read right to left, ie ‘hand-look-nail-look’, but if we read as normal left to right we find not only the Name of God describing who He is, the fullness of His character and abilities, but also its exceptional prophetic nature in it foretelling the pivotal point of His action plan for humanity: the crucifixion of His Son Jesus Christ!

BEHOLD – A NAIL – BEHOLD – A HAND

AND THIS ‘WORD’ SHOWS TWO PERSONS!

Could this indicate that Christ was hidden in the Father when Moses encountered them at the burning bush but manifested as ‘The Angel of the Lord’ or pre-incarnate Christ ? It’s worth reading Exodus 3 carefully again and note Who is speaking to Moses…

Moreover, the pictographs graphically portray God as ‘hands up’ in relevant connection with a nail.

Putting all this together into one picture we get a typical image of Jesus on the Cross at Calvary, where long nails or spikes driven through Jesus’ wrists damage the median nerves thus making His hands bend into the ‘claw position’ – as in the later version of letter Yod!!

REPRISE 14th April 2020:

We continue (2020) previous post’s conclusion on Jesus’ knowledge of mathematics, as  drawn from Jonathan Hill’s thesis, with this startling discovery:

ALPHA-OMEGA HIDDEN WITHIN GENESIS 1:1 (AS ALEPH-TAV)

In Appendix I (pages 202-203) on the meaning of number 37 and its palindromic partner 73, Jonathan says both form the numerical value for the fundamental Hebrew word ‘wisdom’. He tells how this pair play a role in a multiplication, the result being the precise number of the Hebrew for the creation verse of Genesis 1:1. He goes on to relate this to 666 and a diagrammatic representation, which he interprets as meaning:

‘This transformation represents the dispensational truth that at the second coming of Christ, the dominant spiritual hierarchy of the world changes from 666, the number of the ‘beast’, to 12 – the governmental number of Israel. All this information including this powerful intervention of God is elegantly and visually encoded in the first verse of the Bible.’

Now, where’d I got to a fortnight ago today…my drafting this suddenly interrupted upon spotting that what I was doing had gone public ….Fortunately, I’d got to the end of saying how Hebrew and Greek alphabets can be used numerically. Now let’s continue:

LETTERS = NUMBERS

SENTENCES = SUMS

TOTALS = SHAPES & PATTERNS.

Previously, we learned about the astonishing inclusion of mathematical constants of ‘pi’ and the exponential form ‘e‘ – ratios of circles’ circumference/diameter ratio; the base of natural logarithms and rate of growth shared by all growing processes – each within the first verse of Genesis and John respectively, as revealed when applying the same mathematical operation of multiplication and division to their letters and words, NO MATTER IN WHICH ALPHABET; that is, using this ‘conversion’ ratio:

[(All letter values multiplied together) x (Number of letters)] / [Numerical values of all words multiplied together) x (Number of words)]; or as Dr Paul Bluer in Bible Maths:

Jonathan R Hill writes on page 39 of Unlocking The Sign Miracles of John (1st edn),

‘Apply this ratio to Genesis 1:1 and ‘pi’ is revealed accurate to four decimal places. Apply the same ratio to John 1:1 and ‘e’ is revealed, again accurate to four decimal places. Remember that Genesis and John were penned by two different authors in two different languages, hundreds of years apart (if not over a thousand: RB) These fundamental scientific and mathematical constants are markedly embedded within the two creation verses of scripture.

Not only are they powerful witness to the creation of the heavens and of the earth but also to the One who created. In this way, the Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible are authenticated as the authoritative media of God’s Word – as God Himself could have placed these mathematical constants there. No other explanation is possible.’ (Emphasis mine)

Verses:
  • ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.’ (Genesis 1:1)
  • ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ (John 1:1)

GEOMETRICAL SYMMETRY

In addition to the above, an exciting geometrical and, therefore, optical relationship exists between those two verses when all their letters have been changed to numbers and added up!

Then, using the principle of number triangles outlined in Post-Resurrection miraculous catch of 153 fish, the totals calculated for Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 can be regarded as snooker balls, or small squares, and positioned into geometrical shapes. The sum for the value of Greek letters of John 1:1 forms a perfect plinth, or trapezium, which exactly fits the triangular number that can be formed by the sum of the value of Hebrew letters in Genesis 1:1, viz:

The sum of Greek letter values is precisely 3,627 and the sum of Hebrew letter values is 2,701, which forms a perfect equilateral triangle (as erected by the construction of a Vesica Piscis, shown in that post). Each of its sides consists of 73 small squares that represent one unit in the ‘conversion’ value of alphabetical letters. It’s noteworthy that 73 is also the numerical value of the Hebrew word for ‘wisdom’! Furthermore, there are scriptures that assert the world was created upon wisdom, for example:

    • Book of Proverbs – ‘The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens’ (3:19).
    • Prophet Jeremiah – ‘He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom. (10:12).

John 1:1 reveals that Jesus was with God in the beginning and thus He was before all creation, and Paul similarly writes at Colossians 1:17. Given that precedence, then it’s logical that John 1:1 is seen to support Genesis 1:1 in this mathematically visual way!

SUMMARY

So far, we’ve learned the Bible has proven and demonstrable mathematical meanings buried within its text when letters are converted into numerical values. Moreover, many forms of mathematical operations and principles may be discovered, eg.

    • standard arithmetical operations
    • non-complex geometrical shapes
    • Venn diagrams
    • square root
    • factorials.

And that’s only when taking ordinary three-dimensional space into account. Also hidden within Genesis is a descriptive name of God and a direct link to the nature of Time! But that’s for another time…meanwhile, click to read what ‘coincidentally’ appeared today!!

You may recall from my triple “Wake up!” postings of 12 February the first of two SSS prophetic words from Mark Iles calls us to “STAND UP, STEP UP, SPEAK UP!” and so I’m delighted to read this Pesach message Kemi Badenoch, leader of the Conservative Party, posted this morning (thank you Helen Lineen – emphases below added): 

“Why is this year different from all other years?

Because in other years we haven’t seen Jews murdered in a synagogue here in the UK. Because in other years we haven’t seen Hatzola ambulances torched in the middle of Golders Green. And because in no other year have I met so many Jews asking me whether it’s safe for them to stay in the UK.

This year I can’t write the usual sort of Passover message. I am tired of reading platitudes and warm words, expressions of solidarity which ring hollow when we can all see what is happening around us.

I did not learn about Passover from reading the Haggadah or even in church, but from watching The Ten Commandments over and over again. Even as a young child in Nigeria, growing up in a Christian home, the story of liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt – a journey from oppression to freedom, from exile to homeland – was singularly inspiring.

It was only as an adult that I learned the deepest message of Passover: that for Jews, gaining freedom is not a one-off historical event, but is something which Jews have to fight for and guard in every generation.

An acquaintance said recently: “As a black person in the UK, I’ve never experienced the level of racism or intimidation which Jews are facing now. People wouldn’t delve into conspiracy theories about an attack on black people”. This is exactly how I feel.

Too many Jews have lost freedoms in the past year. The freedom to walk the streets of London on a Saturday afternoon. The freedom to go to university wearing a Magen David. The freedom to go to school without security guards, to pray in a building which doesn’t look like a fortress – the freedom to do the sorts of things that all of us should be able to enjoy in a free and democratic country.

The Haggadah also teaches what I know many Jews regard as an eternal truth: “In every generation they rise up against us to destroy us, but the Holy One, blessed be he, saves us from their hands.”

We have seen over the past year how the first part of this teaching is undeniably true. As to the second part – well, we shouldn’t be leaving all of this work to the Almighty or even, as some hope, the government.

To solve a problem requires facing some hard truths. As a Conservative, I have always believed that more government is not the answer to every problem, although it might be part of the solution. But what is government, if not individual politicians and civil servants? As Faith Minister five years ago, what I saw in Whitehall was a significant degree of cultural and religious illiteracy, combined with a reluctance to speak plainly, and a hesitancy to tackle difficult issues for fear of attack, opprobrium, or difficult constituents. Too many politicians are too scared to act without strong leadership. That is the leadership I will provide.

This is a war of attrition fought not only with violence, but with words, insinuation and sustained hostility. We cannot only confront attacks on worshippers at Heaton Park or on ambulances at Hatzola; we must protest sporting boycotts against Maccabi Tel Aviv and vandalism at Gail’s bakery.

Relentless attacks, bizarre articles published by newspapers like the Guardian, the normalisation of rhetoric that would once have been unthinkable. The aim is clear and determined: to erode the moral legitimacy of Jews, leave you less secure, and at the same time give confidence to those who would see Jews diminished or destroyed.

We have allowed the poison of antisemitism to spread for too long, because too many politicians have been too weak or too cowardly to even say what they see, let alone confront it. That must end.

I’ve been very consistent about what I am for and what I am against. Back in 2016, as a London Assembly member, I asked Sadiq Khan why antisemitic flags were being flown at the notorious Al-Quds march.

As Business and Trade Secretary, my department was stormed by hateful mobs protesting my ongoing trade talks with the world’s only Jewish state. They disagreed with my statement in parliament that people in this country use their views on Israel as a cover to display antisemitism at protests on our streets.

Years later, I now lead the Conservative party – and I know where we went wrong. Politics abhors a vacuum and while the party was firmly behind the Jewish community after the October 7 massacre, there was a feebleness when it came to action. Too many were inexperienced and unclear about how to tackle the situation, while others simply did not believe what their eyes were showing them. We placed too much faith in the belief that tolerance, in and of itself, would fix things. That good people would rally round and squeeze out the bad. They did not.

Let me tell you what a Conservative government under my leadership would do. There needs to be a fundamental shift in Britain. We have a radicalisation problem. Currently, we are fighting Labour’s dangerous approach to defining Islamophobia in a way that risks shutting down legitimate discussion about extremism.

We cannot continue to allow hate preachers to operate with impunity. We will have a zero-tolerance approach to extremism of all kinds including Islamism and the influence of groups like the Muslim Brotherhood in Britain.

We will revoke visas for those who come here and peddle antisemitic hatred and we will bar those who seek to bring it into our country in the first place.

And we will ban the kind of marches we have seen on our streets, where people call to “globalise the intifada”, incite violence against Jews and glorify terrorism. Those who celebrate the massacre of Jews should be removed from public life.

Antisemitism is not just an attack on Jewish people. It is an attack on the kind of country we are. Let’s call it what it is – Jew hatred. Let’s stop using softer words for what is happening. But this will not be enough.

There are things government can and must do. But it will never be enough on its own. This is no mere political fight. It is existential. It’s about whether people can live freely and safely as Jews in this country. And that means it requires courage. What is required is a fundamental shift; tackling the moral and political vacuum that has been filled by a hatred of Jews.

Other minority communities have succeeded through hard-fought struggle and a dogged refusal to accept mistreatment. They made it clear that they would not be ignored, dismissed, or pushed aside.

I am not calling for violence. Quite the opposite. There is a silent majority in this country that supports Jews. I am certain of that. But the problem with the silent majority is that silence is not strength.

Jews in Britain have responded to hostility with restraint and dignity. Those are virtues. But sometimes the answer is not quiet endurance but noisy and active defiance. It’s time for change when it comes to Jew hatred.

Do not accept it. Do not normalise it. Stand up for your rights, your identity, and your place in this country in every way you can. Be visible. Be vocal. Use every lawful means at your disposal: your networks, your institutions, your voices. Challenge those who spread hatred. Pursue those who break the law. Know that you have our support, and you are not alone.

Yes, there will be pushback. I’m afraid that is the price of standing firm. Do not pack up your suitcases and leave. Israel cannot be the only sanctuary for Jews. This is your home.

What I can promise you is this: as a party leader, I will do my bit. I will lead from the front, as I always have. I will do my bit to fight against two-tier policing, double standards, sectarian hate, and to make it clear that there is a cost to antisemitism. But Conservatives cannot do this alone. This has to be above politics.

Earlier this month, I gave a speech against separatism and launched a wide-ranging commission on culture and integration. We need one shared identity everyone can buy into – being British. British Jews have shown how it can be done.

Passover reminds us that freedom is never guaranteed. It must be defended, generation after generation. If we fail to confront this now, if we allow the radicalisation, the hatred, the intimidation to continue, then we risk losing the decent and great Britain we grew up with.

The answer to hatred is confidence and resilience. Success is the best response. We can and will defend these values and we will defeat the scourge of antisemitism.

I wish Jewish people in Britain and around the world a peaceful and meaningful festival.”

7th event: Invitation to explore Revelation and End-times with Alan Shemwell

6 events over 6 days on Book of Revelation = Pay Attention!

Chilling out after last week’s demanding days online, on the first day’s evening of our long Friday-Sunday weekend we took a friend with us to spend a couple of hours in non-stop Spirit-led worship.  That day Alan Shemwell, author of Trustworthy and True, had sent a thankyou message but I was intrigued to now hear a new relevance of the Book of Revelation from our friend whilst waiting the worship’s start, BUT then totally  astonished to hear the evening begin with this full quotation of Revelation 1:10-26:

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches[h]which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; 16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. 17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. SO, MY ATTENTION WAS WELL AND TRULY CAUGHT AND I RECALLED HOW OFTEN THESE VERSES HAD FEATURED AND BEEN REPEATED THOUGHOUT THE WEEK – THEREFORE, IT MUST BE WHAT THE LORD IS SAYING TO THE CHURCH > REPETITIONS STRESSING, ‘PAY ATTENTION!’

So to summarise, here’s the week’s daily sequence of God-incidental ‘jigsaw pieces’:

Timing? Triple ’47’ applies! Then comes today’s ‘God-incidence’!

Early Tuesday morning I was musing over my WApp to the previous evening’s house group “I submit that the timing is surely of the Lord, for not only myself but others too, I trust” – as well as in recent blogs of current news and changes across Islam delaying my introducing a friend’s new book on the Book of Revelation.

Then came Sunday’s service featuring the mission to Iran of Elam Ministries together with excellent teaching on Revelation 1.

Immediately upon musing “Whyever I should think there may be any significance of timing, am I imagining it, why me?”, this came straight to mind, as though a Holy Spirit ‘drop’:

“It’s triple 47: 47th year (my birth) of 20th Century! 47th year of Iranian regime! 47th US president!”

By the way regarding numerics, the timing of Michael Bennet’s What Was Whispered email at 11:10 yesterday is significant regarding our ‘3-in-1’ God: thus 11 = The Father and Son (“The Father is in me and I in Him” John 10:38) and 10 = Holy Spirit; zero being nothing is ignored and so 10 is 1. AND as told at the close below, we have yet more evidence of the Lord’s hand in the timing of this post and the next post.

Also, in that blogged ‘briefing’ I refer to a very personal experience in 2019 of the Lord’s glory in a Catch The Fire conference in Fleet, Hampshire. Nina and I knew the pastor and wife and a leader of CTF, Alan Shemwell, later led an excellent study of the Book of Revelation, even presenting attendees with certificates. I asked, therefore, about the availability of his notes and diagrams available and the story unfolds below…and I note that 1989 is the re-start of both our lives!!

BIO

‘Alan was always enthralled with ‘End-time’ stories even before becoming a Christian, at age 26 in 1989. Then he was drawn to the books of Revelation and Daniel.

He struggled to make sense of prophecies, especially the number of years mentioned, which simply didn’t add-up. He jumped at the chance to hear any speaker on Revelation. Almost always, their interpretations simply did not sit right with his spirit and seemed too naïve, simplistic, biased, dismissive, worldly – seemingly quick, lazily formed interpretations, not well thought through, and not Holy Spirit inspired.

For 35 years he sought a clearer, more rounded, unified, God-inspired interpretation.

Alan has been happily married to wife Sian for 35 years. They met in school (6th-Form). and have 3 sons, all in their 20s. Alan and Sian became Christians at the same Billy Graham event in Aldershot, a year before they married. They moved from Somerset to Hook, Hampshire and found a lively, Spirit-filled church.

Within months they were leading home-groups, involved in evangelistic outreach, attending international Christian conferences by John Wimber and other notable Christian pioneers. For years they led Christian introduction (Alpha) courses. Their journey of faith was on an exponential trajectory. They are still very active in their walk of faith. Until recently they were part of the core-team for a new Catch-the-Fire church plant in Farnborough. Alan enjoys street evangelism, Healing-on-the-Street (HOTS) and Christian teaching. Sian is gifted in hearing and responding to God’s heart – demonstrating compassion for the lost and broken.’

As for myself, Richard, having been introduced to eschatology and geopolitical history of the Middle-East a few years before becoming born-again in 1989, and 20 years later began emailing on the subject and attending Neil Mackereth’s teaching at Winchester Vineyard and launching this blog in November 2011, I found Alan’s to be an excellent course. He relates The Apocalypse (Greek title) to current events and I’m pleased he’s now been able to find a publisher.  And I particularly like his easy-to-read style and typography.

Not only the superb teaching and content but also the timing of the guest speaker’s visit to 3Counties Vineyard Church on Sunday was of significance for the congregation, as well as personally and blog-wise.

Events last week delayed my intended blogging on a friend’s new book about the Book of Revelation, but I needed to finish what was in mind about Iran and the eventual fall of Islam with its growing schism between Sunni and Shiite branches – LOL as I type that I saw a picture in front of my monitor of branches falling off a tree!

The delayed timing, nevertheless, must be of the Lord – ‘God-incidental’ – because I had first to hear the Executive Director of Elam Ministries (UK) at our church, as in video intro:
‘This morning David Yeghnazar from Elam Ministries is with us as part of our “Mission March” focus on “Shining in the world”. He will be sharing about Elam, which exists to to strengthen and expand the church in the Iran region and beyond, and will also be speaking from Revelation chapter 1:’

The video link starts when our church team-leader Dave Wright shows a 5 minute video of the foundation and history of Elam Ministries in Iran and interviews David Yeghnazar for 12 minutes. After their prayer David proceeds to present a superb message from the 42 minutes mark . The transcript, however, is too long and complicated to publish here.

I was astonished at 48:45 minutes when he says the Book of Revelation gives a clue about Christians in Iran – here and elsewhere shining in the darkness – and tells why its first chapter is his favorite. Then at 1 hour 2 minutes he speaks into the dream vision I had of the glory of Jesus during His overnight Visitation on 13-14 September 1989!!
1:01:56 “Then it says, “Behold, he is coming with the clouds.” Verse seven, “And every eye will see him.” Behold, this word behold is so important. 19 times in the book of Revelation you see this word, ‘behold’. What’s it saying? It’s saying, guys, you need to SEE. And you need especially to see Jesus. Behold, HE, Jesus, is coming with the clouds.”

And I note my marginalia scribbled atop that chapter in my small Bible >

Moreover, in describing Jesus as King of Glory, David echoes the penultimate point of my recent Bible Update:

‘The founder himself had engaged in or else planned over four dozen battles and within 50 years of his death another battle between his followers split the movement.
SUCH A DEEP CONTRAST WITH THE EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH BORN FROM JESUS’ HOLY SPIRIT ANOINTED APOSTLES – IT DEFINES THEIR DIFFERENCE – MOST DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME GOD!’

So at 1:16:41 of our meeting I hear David say:
“And others begin to see it. One of my dearest friends, the one who was in the video, who was in prison for 5 year. While he was in prison one of the other prisoners came up to him was an Islamic cleric, but he was against the government, so he was in prison. And this Islamic man comes to him and says, “Ours is dead. Yours is alive. Ours is dead. Yours is alive!” And he asked him about Jesus Christ. So my friends, that’s my offering to you….”

SO. please carve out 50 minutes to listen to David’s uplifting, enlightening messages.

40 YEARS AGO

Bear with me in returning to the personal pertinence of the morning and remind you my monitoring of Iran began with flicking through a history book on the religions and geopolitics of the Middle-East and seeing simultaneously a rehearsal of the storming and liberation of Jerusalem out of Israel.

Still not a Christian, a couple of years later I was stunned by a foretaste of Jesus’ glorious return on and rapid descent from the clouds.

A couple of years later, being born-again I witnessed in the heavens about the fall of Islam.

Dear Nina was struggling with severe back pain and upon return to UK we learned her lower spine had collapsed and she needed a wheelchair, thus officially registered as being disabled. BUT PRAISE THE LORD, she was healed from that necessity when John Arnott heard the Lord tell him the next year when in Bath City Church to put aside his sermon as He wanted to heal folk. The Watchmen must keep Watching and Praying!

I hear The Spirit say, ”Watch, for The Birthing of a Nation(s) in a Day is at hand!

Watch and Pray — for I AM speaking through Signs, to the Times and to the Season ahead, the Season of the Birthing of a New Golden Era —

  • to a Great Wealth Transfer,
  • to the War for Oil and to the Ancient Wells where Divine Revival and provision flows,
  • to a demonic choke-hold that seeks to destroy the Destiny of Nations (the spirit of Haman / hangman’s noose),
  • to The Spirit of The LORD now moving Nations through The Narrow Places — through the Eye of a Needle,
  • to The Nations of the Earth now Entering into a Divine Window of Time,
  • to Nations in a Time and Season of Constriction and Birthing Contractions in the realm of The Spirit,
  • to Economic and Financial systems and,
  • to Emerging Political Alliances and,
  • to Global trade routes that are now moving into tighter spaces, where decisions and a Divine Distinction of Goat and Sheep Nations will no longer be postponed!

I say watch! Just as Birth comes through a narrow canal, so the pressures now seen among The Nations are part of a great Shaking, Divine Awakening and the Separation of Nations.

Yes! For Pressure precedes Transition!

Listen! Pay Attention! For My Remnant must not only watch the movements of Armies, Ships and Markets — but they must go up higher to discern the deeper Prophetic Patterns and Mysteries that are now emerging.

See! For I AM revealing the Gates of the Earth — those strategic places where Power, Resources and Influence are now beginning to converge and align with Heaven’s Time.

Watch! As the Gates expose the true dependencies of Nations and the fragility of Systems and Structures built without Justice and Righteousness.

I say — look! Watch, for The Strait of Hormuz surely is a Birthing Canal — a narrow place where War — Travail, great Pressure, and passage that signals what is taking place in the Heavenlies, and to what is now being uprooted, torn down, built and established.

And to that which is about to be Birthed and brought forth into the Earth Realm, Watch!

Again I say — for there are Signs that speak to the Times!

Just as the Strait of Hormuz is a Narrow Gate and a Divine Connection point (VAV) through which the Economic lifeblood of Nations must pass.

So, The Nations are now being driven into a Spiritual Choke-hold where the powers of the prince of Persia and the Ancient Empire Spirits War in the Heavens over the Great Wealth Transfer Coming to the Nations!”

Clarification on Bible prophecy and US military

It is important to understand that The Shaking prophecies, either in Hebrews 12 or the prophecies brought by Kim Clement recently posted herein, should NOT be taken as being about End-times and the battle of Armageddon.

In America’s Military Religious Freedom Foundation it’s reported that some US military commanders have been briefing troops that events in the Middle-East indicate we are entering End-times battles – and many servicemen have logged complaints about such zealotry.

However, this may well reflect individuals’ personal preferences and reminds me how our British Commonwealth troops may have been encouraged to face going into combat 112 years ago into what became the massive First World War; eg. “Onward Christian Soldiers” being sung in churches.

This news from America’s military came to my attention in Mark Davidson’s monitoring of events tying in with his ‘The Four Signposts’ thesis, which came to my attention 11 years ago upon reading his very thought-provoking Daniel Revisited, as told in:
