“A Season of Suddenlies” – AND a shifting!

This is exciting – yet a tad frustrating!!

Frustrating because what I’d drafted for this week needed postponing in view of other material for immediate publication. Yet exciting because what I was going to write on a dimension behind what Dr Stone said on the Lord’s invitation to the threshing floor links into what we heard on Sunday!  And it was delivered as a clearly prophetic statement!

In addition, there’s indirect support for a supposition made when I started writing.

So, it’s extremely exciting yet frustrating because things are happening so rapidly. As John stressed, the Lord is working very fast – we can so easily miss what He’s doing. 

It’s hard to keep up and to write in the available time slots. In fact, my intention to share quick notes on John Kilpatrick’s teaching upon the ‘Redefinement’ word got held up for I needed to check some bits against the archived Sunday service. CHP are quick do that but it seems news of Steve Hill’s passing took precedence. The the video came online a little later in the day but there was a technical hitch that needed my referral to a friend on staff there.

I trust that you may have grasped there’s a significance to what follows and take time not only to read but also to watch the pastor’s exceptional teaching. First and if you’re still with me, and even disagree, here’s what I wrote awaiting the archived video:

UK & US Sunday services

JohnK 214_logoIn Sunday morning’s service at Church of His Presence pastor John Kilpatrick reported how, whilst awakening from sleep in Texas last month, the Lord gave notice of what He will be doing during the next three months.  In ‘100 days of Redefinement’ this seems to be specifically for CHP and cities, but it is definitely applicable to ALL churches.

With reference to that word’s mention of Jesus’ disciple Simon being renamed as Peter, John emphasised he wasn’t the only one whose identity was re-moulded and became renewed. Ordinarily, we refer to many in the New Testament as being healed by Jesus or the apostles, as though that defined their lives. But, in fact, the effect of God’s direct work upon them completely ‘re-defined’ and transformed them from that moment on. So Peter could accomplish what God intended, which he wouldn’t have been able to as ‘Simon’, so too for Abraham and Sarah, Jacob and Paul.

In this respect, pastor was re-iterating what we’d heard that same morning in church in UK – seems it’s the ‘Bridge Over The Pond’ effect once again!  Our minister taught in depth on ‘Transformation’ and being merged IN Christ, and included some words of wisdom from Paul Keith Davis. Our aim should be to be holy and become like Him.

Paul Keith is of the opinion that the Lord comes to bless and anoint what’s like Him. So, His power and presence finds a platform in people who focus upon Him and His holy character to the exclusion of all else and “He anoints His nature”.

Therefore, in assessing John’s gift of bringing words from the Living God it’s helpful to be aware that the Lord has used him to host two major moves of revival in repentance and in healing.

[Next, with the video available to check and expand my jottings on John’s explanation of ‘Redefinement’ I found it more important to transcribe these prophetic words. In fact, the pastor wants to go on the record for what he’s conveyed, as below.]

Under the Holy Spirit’s unction

With this in mind we need to note Pastor John Kilpatrick’s summary to his detailed discourse upon ‘Redefinement’, its ‘Season of Suddenlies’ and what God is now about to do in the earth. Pointing to Isaiah 28:21 on-screen (is shown below) he states:

“The Holy Spirit says that we are entering into a season where God is going to resort to strange works and strange acts to show the nations of the world He’s still in charge…He’s still in charge.

“And trust me on this, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Holy Spirit told me back in 2009, you remember – He gave me the word ‘R.e.s.u.r.r.e.c.t.i.o.n.’ and one of the words (within that) was that there’s going to be signs in the heavens and there’s been many of them; you can go to the internet and check them out and see what’s happening in the heavens – much of it hasn’t been reported..

“We’re entering into a season right now…where these ‘strange works’ and ‘strange acts’ have to do with the planetary system and to do with the universe.

“The time is going to come when Israel’s going to be assailed from all sides. You know as well as I do that the Bible clearly predicts in Ezekiel 38 and 39 that Russia is going to come against Israel and invade Israel…and in the very week that we’re talking about cutting our army and armed forces down to the smallest army since before WWII…

“And what God is about to do in regard to Israel, I can’t tell you everything because I don’t have the full picture…but I do know the other day the Holy Spirit said to me:

“Don’t minimise that scripture about My strange acts and my strange works!”

“Don’t minimise that because God said,

“I will pull out all stops to show that I AM the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I will pull out all stops to let the world know that I swore to Abraham this land, and anybody that fools with what I swore to by Myself will have to pay the consequences.”

“So let me just speak this out. I speak that in the near future the nations on earth will see on television, and by other means, God’s strange works and His strange acts. Trust me on this. It’s coming and there’s nothing a soul in the world can do about it.

“It’s past men’s ability to touch it and to do anything about it, but God is going to be glorified. There will come a day when people entering their churches, [of whatever denomination], when people walk across the threshold…they’ll be shaking and trembling knowing what God is about to do, and what He’s already done on the earth. They’ll know there’s a real God and there’s going to come a holy fear upon people like they’ve never seen before!

“There’ll be a brand new respect – hear me! – there’ll be a brand new respect for God and for the Holy Spirit unlike anything the Church has ever seen…

“I’m not going to say this or that’s going to happen in the next 100 days but God is getting ready to redefine His Church and He’s getting ready for us to get ready to see what we’ve never seen in our lifetime…”

John returns to the examples of Biblical leaders whom God had redefined in order to serve His purposes fully, and then prophesies how this applies to churches.:

“It’s going to happen, going to work both ways with churches – listen…

“There are churches that are really ‘a remnant’, and they’re really God-fearing. They really love Jesus and really are focused upon the End-Times and the coming of Christ, and they really want to serve God…God’s going to redefine those churches so they’re going to become more powerful than they’ve ever become –

“BUT there’s also going to be other churches that have ‘left their first love’ and they’ve gone the way of the world – and they’re going to have their ‘candlestick’ removed. They’re going to be redefined and the way they’re going to be redefined is: they’re NOT anywhere going to be ready for the soon coming of Jesus Christ!

“There is a SHIFTING going on RIGHT NOW. There is a TRUE SHIFTING going on right now, where God is going to redefine ‘the remnant’ into another thing and He’s going to take the wordly, compromising, so-called church and He’s going to redefine them and they won’t be able to come into what God’s got for them! It will be like, and as real as, removing a candlestick from a candlebra.

“So that’s the word that the Lord sent me here to give today…”

That final point is very interesting confirmation of what I suggested in an email 5 years ago about the End-game coming into play with ‘a sifting of the Church’ turning into ‘a sHifting’!  Thank you Lord.

Scripture

For  scriptural authority for the concept of God’s surprise action, John quoted Acts 2:2 and 1 Corinthians 15 where the Church was founded suddenly and where it will be ‘taken’ suddenly. Also Romans 9:28

For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because  a short work the Lord will make upon the earth,

as well as Isaiah 10:26 and especially 28:21, where God speaks of doing things very quickly:

For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. [From KJV. The  NKJV renders the last as ‘His awesome work…His unusual act’ and notes ‘unusual’ literally means ‘foreign’!]

Recommendation

These meagre notes cannot do justice to exceptional teaching under a strong unction of the Holy Spirit.  There were at least a couple of times other than quoted above when John spoke very prophetically. For example:

In the season that we’re entering into the Lord says, “I’m going to cut things short”. The Bible says He’s going to cut the days short. I don’t think that you and I here today can comprehend what I’m really saying, because I can’t… Just listen carefully – we don’t realise how fast God’s going to speed things up and expedite things!  It will happen so fast you won’t even have time to praise Him!

Therefore, this teaching is well worth attentive study, starting at 1:32:25 of this video, Season of Suddenlies. From the offset he stresses the importance of this being a ‘kairos’ moment or ‘now’ word.

Revd John Kilpatrick: God is re-defining His people

The next post will have notes taken from the pastor’s teaching upon this important yet brief prophetic word.

The first remark about believers “being bound” harmonises with Dr Sharon Stone’s first words upon an Invitation to the Threshing Floor referring to “a season of hindrance”, from which “a new generation is leaving captivity to rule with manifestation of the power of God”.

Another fulfilment of the Obama prophecy

In view of the popularity of prophecies on President Obama and Israeli PM Netanyahu,  readers will be interested in the following.:

Details have emerged today revealing close operational collaboration for the first time in 4 years between US and Israeli intelligence and military agencies against an Iranian military target. Although this may surprise media pundits and well-informed experts alike, it is confirmation once again of the accuracy of Wendy Alec’s word and prayer request for Barack Obama from the Lord Himself.  In response to our intercession He promised:

…That we will see a change in the direction of the White House –

That we will see a change – a transformation even of policies –

Today’s Debka Special Report on the naval operation refers to America’s questionable diplomatic approach to Iran’s bellicose regime :

UN Sep12 NET-OBAMA1_13jpgThe seizure of an Iranian ship’s secret cargo of missiles bound for Gaza is no doubt one of the factors behind recent cordial meetings in Washington between Obama and Netanyahu. Debka report continues,

This radical turnabout was most probably the high point of the conversation between the US president and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the White House Monday, March 3, after which Netanyahu raised comment by showering Obama with praise during his speech to the AIPAC conference in Washington the next day.

It’s all too predictable that mainstream media, being anti-Israel, will succumb to any Iranian smokescreen and be beguiled into repeating their disingenuous diatribe.

A clarification from Arthur Burt’s daughter

Further to recent items about Bob Jones and Arthur Burt I’m grateful to Mark Maddock’s contribution on my post about a likely cause of our storms. He gives a clarification and proviso from Arthur’s daughter, Mary, on the date and origin of the prophecy attributed to her father. It is copied below for readers’ information together with my remarks.:

If you’ve not yet checked what Arthur wrote, then read the ‘No Ebb’ prophecy first, as on Billye Brims’ site rather than Kathie Walters’ longer account relating to Bob Jones.

One of Mark’s friends who knows Mary contacted her to ask about the details and then informed Mark, who comments as follows:

Here is an excerpt of her reply; the key factual point to note is that the prophecy was given in 1937… thus there is no direct link with Bob Jones’ birth year (1930):

“… The prophecy is correct, however he did not give it but has carried it.
The prophecy was spoken by someone else in a meeting in 1937 and it so moved him that dad grabbed hold of it. He has kept it alive all these years.
I am glad you emailed about it. But we must remember that the interpretation belongs to God. Many have made assumptions, Bob Jones talked about it, but we must hold these things lightly.
I once saw a documentary shortly after the Afghanistan war where in Kandahar the landmines that were still buried were the cause of many children and adults losing arms and legs. In the documentary they showed a helicopter literally dropping arms and legs to the ground. You could see them in plastic bags. It reminded me of the prophecy.”

The reference to ‘arms and legs’ in the prophecy may indicate something about the time in which it’s scheduled for fulfilment.  Also, perhaps someone familiar with those details would actually see body parts coming down out of the sky and thereby realise the direct relevance to the prophecy. That is, it would as a physical sign of approaching fulfilment. (It reminds me of a dream in which I saw how the Kingdom is being set up on earth, and which connected in the spirit with Bill Johnson’s 2011 word for Britain – see Father, let Your Kingdom come).

Alternatively or in addition, of course, that odd reference may mean miraculous healing of limbs will be a major feature of this coming revival.

Now for a look at a funny side of the past fortnight’s deluge of ‘divine data’, of which this is only one bit…

In writing about a trio of prophetical prompts I implied it was 40 years from the date of Arthur Burt’s note as in Billye Brim’s reference to 1934 to that of David Minor’s Two Winds, both of which I’d inserted in my Library.

The next day, in shock I took stock! My quick mental maths were wrong!

“No!” – it’s about 50 years between Arthur’s and David’s of 1987. I was about to amend 40 to 50 but realised the correct connection, and issued a clarification. It was like how my mind had been muddled in a Godly way over the dates and news on the blog’s 2nd anniversary and what provoked my interest over 25 years ago, as noted here.  It’s not like me to get my sums wrong!

NOW, with Mary’s more authoritative date of 1937 the 50 years difference to the ‘Two Winds’ prophetic words has not only turned up again but also shows I WAS right to suspect a link. In clarifying the date it ratifies my notion that a subtle link may exist – so maybe we should consider these prophecies more deeply?

The tornado forces of that First Wind could be like what’s happened since October’s St Jude’s Day Storm, and then onwards from December and New Year’s extreme, record-breaking lowest pressure, known as ‘explosive deepenings’, or ‘weather bombs’ (USA). Almost hurricane force winds, frequent heavy rains and horizon-to-horizon flooding until last week makes it officially the ‘Wettest Winter’ in nearly 250 years.

Please note I’m not promoting any sort of numerical theory. Just noting the facts, and the coincidence. Or, is it ‘God-incidence’?

Is the Lord trying to get our attention and telling us there’s something very important?

Paws-4-thought: Dr Stone on the rains and the threshing floor

I trust most readers can appreciate and weigh words said to be from the Lord and, thereby, check with scripture and how what’s been delivered ‘sits with’ their own spirit and the Holy Spirit. For what it may be worth, I humbly submit my brief thoughts on the words about the ‘Threshing Floor’:

Also, I’m suspecting a sense of ‘timing’ in what Sharon has delivered. This isn’t so much from its relevance to the record-breaking extreme weather but more from a possible link to what was written recently on this blog.

Ezra

First, the reference to Ezra relating to this prophecy is interesting. His priestly role in writing the revealed word of God is second only to that of Moses. He is credited with accurately transcribing the Pentateuch’s Old Hebrew, borrowed from the seafaring Phoenicians, into square characters of the Hebrew alphabet based upon the Aramaic alphabet. That was the language spoken by the Jews during their captivity in Babylon and upon returning to Jerusalem over 2,500 years ago. About 70 years before that the  lost Book of the Law from Moses’ time about 700 years earlier had been re-discovered in the Temple.

After the discovery the Jews were taken into captivity and their teacher and spiritual leader Ezra devoted himself to studying the five books of Moses. He organised their compilations into a single entity, was inspired to write scripture and started the process of replicating God’s Word through a school of scribes (Sopherim). The original meaning of that Hebrew word is ‘people who know how to write’ – and count. Numeracy was vital because they counted every single letter in many different ways in order to transmit the Word as exactly as possible. That target was achieved to almost 100% accuracy.

Hence, the significance of commencing this current prophetic word with reference to Ezra’s book.

The Threshing Floor

Although not quoted, the words Sharon brought are directly related to John the Baptist’s description of Jesus’ mission, as Matthew recounts:

“…I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (Matt 3 NKJV, BibleGateway)

Later, Jesus refers to this truth in the parable of the wheat and tares (weeds identical to wheat until the grain appears). He explains it as follows:

“He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

40Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matt 13 NKJV, BibleGateway.com)

This parable is one of three ‘coincidental’ repetitions from 5 years ago that I mentioned in Friday’s blog.  Fascinating that it’s re-surfaced at this time. Perhaps the Lord may be stressing its relevance for the coming season? In 2008 the leader of a ministry in which I served had taken other leaders to task over quoting that parable as a reason for not correcting Todd Bentley during the Lakeland outpouring.  I was uneasy with how this issue was being handled and with the mishandling of this scripture in criticising others. So I found Paul Keith Davis’ insights into the parable to be most helpful. (Should you be interested, a brief version appears in An End-Time Strategy.)

Satan’s Strategy

“We must know the wiles of our enemy” is a very sound reminder. Even those familiar with deliverance ministry may fall foul of these ways that distract us from our prime purpose of knowing God and following Jesus’ command to love one another, thereby honouring our brethren.

Romans 13

Lastly, another scripture of special personal significance is Romans 13. This is pertinent to my encounter with Jesus, as I was to discover a long time afterwards.  It features in the liturgical readings assigned for the First Day in Advent, which is about Jesus’ return. The verses Sharon quoted from Romans 13 were those which deeply encouraged me upon finding and reading my late mother’s Missal for that date – click on image to view. Dr Stone: the flooding and an invitation to the threshing floor

I’m grateful to UK Awakening for this Prophetic Word for 2014 from Dr Sharon Stone, inspired by Jane Hamon. Please note this is not meant to downgrade or belittle the loss of homes and livelihoods, as well as life, many have faced since mid-December:

THERE IS A THRESHING FLOOR INVITATION FOR US FROM GOD

In Ezra 4 we see a resistance to the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.  We have been in that “season of hindrance”. Thank God we are now coming out!

There is a New Generation that is now leaving captivity into ruling with the manifestation of the power of God (signs and wonders).  Abraham, Issac and Jacob are the generations leaving captivity.  This is not just one age group.

They are fulfilling 1 Cor 4:20 ‘The kingdom of God is not in word but in power’.

Joel 2:23-26

…rejoice in the Lord your God;

For He has given you the former rain faithfully, 

And He will cause the rain to come down for you — 

The former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

That is, a double anointing the latter and former at the same time.  In England it will be known for its rain in this season.  The flooding will be a spiritual sign of the dry and parched land entering their spiritual rain.

The rain causes the threshing floors to be full.  God is meeting us at the Threshing Floor even before there is much to thresh.  God calls this a Threshing Floor/Harvest Season. 

One of the most important places to be in harvest time is the Threshing Floor and this is a tremendous time of Harvest.  God is thrusting in His sickle and reaping in ways we have never seen before.  How is that possible? 

Amos 9:13

“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills.”

1. God has brought us to the threshing floor to gather from the natural and spiritual realm what was grown in the last season. 

Some of us must put the pressure of Holy Spirit upon any dormant seeds or delayed harvest. That we might be aligned accurately.

2. The Threshing Floor has always been a symbol of separation and sanctification.  

A place of spiritually separating the good from the bad.  A place of separating the useful from that which is no longer beneficial.

This season will measure us by a Baptism of Fire, from the Refiner’s Fire, bringing us to another level of Holiness.  Why now? I believe history will record this time as; “The Age of Righteousness”.  Thank God as darkness increases in the earth, so does His glorious Light.

Romans 13:11-14

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 

The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts.

The Lord is the master purifier.  He is cleansing His temple so His kingdom can come through you. God wants His Church to function with all the resources of heaven, but He also wants His people to function with His character.  That is why He said; “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh…”.

This season is not about you (sic) great ability to discipline yourselves into holiness.

This will be a joyous time as the Spirit of Holiness invades you.

There are promises to the righteous (those who put holiness into operation).

The Bible tells us during the last days shaking of the world things get worse.  There are more wars and young men’s hearts fail for fear, but these are just the birth pains.  Yes, there is a shaking going on, but the Lord wants you to know this: “The righteous will never be shaken”.

3. The Threshing Floor is a place of forceful activity.

Winnowing demands purposeful and forceful activity.

The Kingdom is forcefully advancing and the forceful lay hold of it.  You are going to catch the advancing Kingdom of God mentality.

A Threshing Floor is built upon a hill or open plain that it might catch the wind.  We are catching the thrust or the wind of Holy Spirit.

4. The increase of the threshing floor…(Numbers 18:30) 

This is a season of abundant blessing.  This is not just supply to pay past debts, but the harvest is also resources for the future season.

God is giving us the ability to project vision not just to survive.

5.The Threshing Floor is a place of sacrifice and a place for curses to be broken. 

David bought the Threshing Floor of Ornan the Jebusite to offer a sacrifice, in order to break the curse upon Israel.  He said; “I will not give The Lord that which costs me nothing”.

We will have opportunity to give the largest offerings of our life.  We will also see curses of ‘Generational Sins’ and the sins of the fathers that have been passed down upon the children fully broken over our families.

6. The Threshing Floor is a place of connections for destiny.  

Ruth and Boaz found each other at the Threshing Floor.  For some that will be a place of literal fulfilment.

For all of us it will be a time for our Kinsman Redeemer.  Jesus will have encounters and connections with us His bride bringing us into greater destiny and intimacy.

7. Biblical History often speaks of enemies who sought to rob the harvest at the Threshing Floor. We must know the wiles of our enemy. 

The enemy seeks to steal the harvest where he did none of the investment or labour.  This will be a time when the enemy will not only attack our weak places but our strengths as well.  Then enemy seeks to attack your harvest not just your barren places.

We already read Joel 2:24 The former and Latter Rain in the same month.  Continuing with that scripture;

The Threshing Floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

The New Wine is already flowing! The New Wine is available to you right now!

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.”

8. At the Threshing Floor when the thief has been exposed, that is when he has to make restitution. 

We have entered a time of Restitution!  In Luke chapter 15, we see restitution.  The recovery of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. The sheep speak of those who will come to salvation.  The coin represents recovery of your finances and wealth that has been lost.  The prodigal son promises many Christians who have walked away from Jesus, will return.

We have been invited to the Threshing Floor for a season of recovery and breakthrough.  We will walk out of limitations for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God.  We are leaving the place of lack and restriction in order to experience the abundant provision of the Kingdom of God

9. The Threshing Floor will separate us from our past to our present and future destiny. 

This will get rid of our old baggage that has anchored us to past failures and delay.  We will be aligned to this present season and to our destiny.

10. The Threshing Floor will separate the church from her past successes and failures. 

This will offer a positional readiness for the church.

Jesus is passionately jealous for His Bride

Dear Richard,
Greetings.
Thank you for today’s “Richards Watch” [What Jesus is saying to His Church]. I always appreciate what you write and so often feel stretched by your words.  I also receive “Lion Bites ” so the link is doubly strong.

I received the following from the Lord at the end of last week [ie. before my impulsively and totally unplanned publishing those words. RB], and thought I would pass them on to you in the light of today’s word.

I have 2 words from the Lord…

Jealous and Separate.

He is saying, “I am passionately jealous for your whole heart. I cannot settle for less than all of you. My jealousy is aroused when I see you giving yourself to anything/one other than Me. I delight in every moment you give yourself to Me. I never despise any time we share together. It is always a joy to Me. Yet My whole purpose for you is to be wholly Mine. I know your heart will never be at rest and peace until it is wholly Mine. So I am jealous for your love. I hate the lovers that take your heart away from Me. My jealousy burns strongly and I will not settle for less than all of your heart.”

He is saying, “A Bride sets her whole heart and mind on her Beloved. She anticipates her wedding day and thinks constantly about the day she will be fully joined to her Beloved. No Bride shares her heart with another. She separates herself from all former lovers. She does not entertain any thoughts of another lover other than her Beloved Bridegroom. She gladly chooses to separate herself from everything which distracts her from her Beloved, from her Wedding Day.

“She gives herself fully to all the preparations for the great day. Her mind and heart are totally given over to everything needful for that day. She busies herself with preparations. Nothing else seems to occupy her mind. Even the daily needs become secondary to her as the Day dawns closer and closer. She has separated herself to achieve the goal of being fully ready for the day she is married. Her mind is consumed with the joy and wonder of being fully joined, at One with her Beloved. This is all she thinks and talks about. All her energies are directed toward the Day of consummation.
A separation has occurred which she has happily embraced and has become indifferent to everything else. Even food and sleep become secondary to her delightful obsession. Preparing for her Bridegroom.

“So you, as My Beloved Bride, are to separate yourselves from everything which could hinder your preparations for our Wedding day. There is always a leaving, a separation, to enable the cleaving. Abraham left his home and family to enter My purpose for him. The result, the nation which birthed your salvation. I left My home to gain you and take you to Myself. This separation is not a hard thing when you are so deliriously captivated by your Beloved. So ask Me and I will give you that passionate desire which will cause you to leave everything to know Me and become Mine.”

I have been particularly impacted by the way the Bride to be completely loses interest and attachment to things, without any striving because of her overwhelming passionate distraction, namely the Beloved and forthcoming wedding. When the church truly loves and longs for our Beloved King Jesus, surely the stuff that clogs up and confuses today, will evaporate in the wonder of His glorious love and soon return.

5 years ago today: “The End-Game Is Now In Play”

A lot’s happened in the 5 years since I started writing to friends on 28th February 2009  about current events prophesied in the Bible. The first email opened by explaining my grounds for doing so.:

“Last year, I encountered two conflicting claims about Jesus’ explanation of the parable on the end-time harvest of wheat and tares (Matt 13:36).  So I went to check scripture but upon opening my Bible a deep excitement exploded within as I heard,

“This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”

WOW! Hence, my previous remarks about a sifting of the Church – in preparation for a rapid ‘sHifting’?”

My contacts had already been established over the previous year. As they were all familiar with scripture it wasn’t always necessary for me to quote or explain meanings. However, with that change in direction upon my hearing direct from the Lord it was opportune to stress the associated scripture, as follows.:

“Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins:> “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (ch21:36) and chpt 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators…”

Regular contacts had started over a controversial move of the Lord in 2008 in Lakeland, Florida. This had featured healing evangelist Todd Bentley, whose rather rough, logger background and highly unconventional ways generated a heated debate in Christian circles.

I believe the Lord used it to test which disciples are really committed to applying His command to “Love one another”, which is how “the world may know the Father sent me” (John 17:23).  Perhaps this would sift out those who are not yet ready for the more demanding move into this ‘New Season’?

Funnily enough each player involved 5 years ago has also been in direct contact with me this week:  ‘Revd’ Bill’ – PK Davis (ace teaching on Matt 13 above) – ‘LL’ in reference to TB and Lakeland !!

That first email of 2009 referred to the increasing politicised provocation against believers within the UK, as well as the surveillance against which a director of MI5 warned.  We’re well aware of rapidly discriminatory actions against believers in the last 5 years. But abroad, real persecution and terrorism have rocketed in the Muslim world, being most critical in northern Nigeria. So we’ve had it comparatively easy in Britain, but British and American leaders show an atheistic disinterest and lack of compassion over this dire situation.

We’ve also seen the rapid development of anti-Semitism and the creation of the alliance of Middle-Eastern nations prophesied in Ezekiel 38.  I’ve written increasingly on this under the descriptor ‘Ezekiel Alliance’, or Gog-Magog.  As Zechariah prophesied about Jerusalem, there have been intensifying discussions and sabre-rattling; the latest being that Mahmoud Abbas erupted in a rage over US Secretary Kerry’s proposal for the Palestinian capital to be located not in Jerusalem but elsewhere! (See Zech 12 and Israel Today report.)

Dear Friends – further to Rev’d Bill’s recent request re Christian Freedom, may I offer some observations upon our times and, in another message, suggest a way forward?

So, let’s watch closely what’s happening here and globally. When I’m by a newstand it’s noticeable that the Daily Telegraph is the only paper to headline matters of Christian concern – several within a fortnight recently. Eg. on 6 Feb it broke the news of Nurse Caroline Petrie’s suspension for offering to pray for a patient with front page headline ‘NHS staff face sack if they discuss religion’. We took exception to this and wrote to N.Somerset PCT saying we were glad their policy wasn’t in effect 3 years ago when Nina was fighting for her life! (I explained it was only because the night-duty nurse prayed that her throat immediately opened and she became peaceful, as shown on her monitor’s read-out.) So, we’re pleased to learn Caroline has been allowed to return to work, but I’m challenging the PCT’s ‘equality’ stance.

However, this is just one instance of the growing persecution of believers, principally through a policy supposedly promoting toleration but that’s now a tyrannical tool of intolerance – Equality & Diversity. There are other powers of suppression. Even the previous director of MI5 warns about UK sleep-walking into a police state (‘Abject nonsense’ responded a gov’t minister who lives on another planet). Rampant lawlessness now exists not only in society but also within legal authorities – laws not approved by Parliament – ‘snoop and snitch’ culture – correction punished and evil behaviour rewarded – ID cards and routine interception of email and phones – etc etc. Clearly, Banking isn’t the only thoroughly corrupt UK institution.//Let us, however, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we await the blessed hope of His glorious appearing.

On wild winds, flooding and an earthquake

“…And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” (Gen 14:20)

The above led into Tuesday morning’s daily prayer for the nation from Keep Praying and Bless. (We’ve continued using this intercessory paper published for the Olympic Torch relay of 2012). As though answering my thoughts about following the previous day’s post on Bob Jones, that verse was followed appropriately by:

We decree that the Church in the British Isles will be delivered from old mindsets and will walk in the new mantle God is placing on His Bride, for a time such as this.

It also fitted with a private issue over religious legalism. We then prayed a set, specific blessing and the Aaronic blessing for a couple of towns, followed by the day’s blessing.:

We bless His Bride to be washed with the water of His Word and to be filled with the law of the Spirit of Life. 

That reflects the second part of a prophecy through Smith Wigglesworth (as here),  which has been implemented by the Baptist Union’s acceptance a few years ago of applying the Word with the Spirit. I trust, therefore, you’ll bear with my musings before  covering prophetical aspects. There are sound reasons for my confidence in how the Lord has led me in all this. So I trust you will be encouraged in what follows below and in the next post published in tandem with this one.

I’ve wondered what’s Lord’s view of, or influence upon, the severe storms and extensive deep flooding across England, with the west taking the brunt of the violence. Is it climate change? Are these events at all prophetic? There was even an earthquake between Wales and  Devon (click map for details)! is it a sign of a Hebrews 12 ‘shaking’?

It’s no surprise that the Met Office forecast of a ‘drier than normal’ winter was utterly wrong!  At least we’re not alone – in Slovenia thick blankets of ice killed many trees and caused more flooding (thanks Kim).

Today’s news is that it’s officially the “Wettest winter for England and Wales since 1766”, according to early Met Office statistics (click map for report’s details).

In fact, I’d surprised myself by not being judgemental over the storms in assuming it’s all the ‘wrath of God’!

Upon taking a walk a couple of weeks ago I impulsively decided to listen to Paul Keith Davis’ cd The Days of Noah. Speaking mainly from Hebrews 11 and Matthew 24, he adds,  “Light is accelerating and so is darkness…there’s a body of knowledge coming that’s essential for us (the church) to survive”, and refers to Isaiah 60 on the deep darkness covering the earth versus the light of God’s people.

I noted his stressing that Noah had been “warned about things not yet seen…” and that, had he not had the spirit of revelation, he too would have perished in the Flood. Also, Noah honoured his great-grandfather Enoch who “walked with God” and was father of the oldest person, Methuselah. He was given that name because Enoch said, “When he dies it will come” for he already knew about the Flood, which came almost 1,000 years later. Keith had read in Jewish teaching that the deluge started 7 days after Methuselah died.  (For fascinating details see Dr Chuck Missler, The Gospel in Genesis.)

That’s as much as I heard on my walk for I had to linger over those ideas. The reference to a prophecy being fulfilled after a person’s death particularly stuck in mind because I’d been mulling a similar one over in connection with Gabriel’s message.  (That’s yet to be concluded but now I see how this information makes that not only easier to grasp but also gives a Biblical basis for connecting prophesied events with a person’s passing.)

Who is to blame for the storms?

Upon my return home, an email from someone whose views I respect urged calling the nation together to repent because we’ve spurned Him, and seek God’s forgiveness.   He posits that demonic incantations officially broadcast in closing the 2012 Olympic Games acted as a curse to flood the land and affected our weather.  Thus, the violent storms hitting Britain could be a foretaste of chaos to come unless there’s a spiritual change in our national life.  Yet, if that’s so, why was last year’s weather not unusual? (Met Office 2013 annual report refers.)

That all needed mulling over.  I had reservations because it imputed a greater power to paganism than the hundreds of Christian prayers and declarations made in the lead up to the Games, especially afterwards at the National Day of Prayer at Wembley. And what about the nationwide ringing of Jubilee Bells and declarations to negate ungodly, cultic Olympic prayers? (See ‘2012’ in blog Library.)

Also, I recalled Dr Sharon Stone received a word from the Lord on a specific, spiritual meaning to Hurricane Sandy that indicated a turning point in Church history. It would also point toward a shaking of reprobate American society and the necessity of turning to Jesus!  She did not, however, speak judgmentally.

There was also a personal dream of warning that I’d had about weather and so I wasn’t so sure about the spiritual nature of the storms. Quite a bit to weigh and pray…

In addition, we hear in Monday’s video about two hurricanes arriving in Mobile, one that stopped as directed by the Lord, and the other satanic one smashed along the coast.

Prophecies on the 2014 Storms

So in parallel with this post, I will offer what I believe is significant information on this topic from Kathie Walters, who prophesied in 2012 not only about the Queen’s Jubilee Bells, but who also directly connected it to Arthur Burt’s prophecy of 1937. (See It’s Time to Ring Out Those Bells!)

Also, we will learn from her about the link with the late prophet Bob Jones!

This news fulfils a prophetic promise from the Lord in November 1999 to His children in the German nations, whom He is “raising up to take the standard of My people Israel. For there is a divine marking in the spirit realm upon Germany…that in the latter days My servants shall rise up around Israel and the Jewish people and shall stand as a covering and as a protection with faces like flint….” (Journal of The Unknown Prophet – A Visitation of Jesus Christ page 153) Moreover, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem’s new director, Dr Juergen Buehler, is a German.

Paul Keith Davis remembers his friend Bob Jones

This personal reflection by Paul Keith upon his long, close friendship with the ‘prophet of love’, Bob Jones, is fascinating. We learn how they met, what Bob was like, about his ministry and more…

Readers unfamiliar with revelatory or prophetical material may find his statements novel but, rest assured, this video is well-worth watching.

To give a flavour, here’s a few notes on what Keith divulges:

  • Bob operated strongly in the Daniel anointing of dream interpretation. Not only did he have advance knowledge of the content of another’s dreams but he would also know its meaning – and even be in it with them!
  • That was very clear in Keith’s first meeting with Bob when, with Bobby Conner, they held their first public meeting and demolished a stronghold of witchcraft.
  • Bob’s prophetic gifting would flow continually over several days.
  • Accurate prophecies about two revivals – Pensecola/Brownsville and The Bay of The Holy Spirit – as well as two hurricanes striking the same place (Mobile bay).
  • Bob’s earlier death and why he was returned to earthly life, and a later attempt by the spirit of death to prevent his completing his ordained destiny.
  • Their trip into hell and its purpose in connection with an unsaved person. (I was reminded of when I stood upon hell’s trapdoor; as told here.)
  • His passing on St Valentines Day – Keith surmises it’s not so much that Bob is a prophet of love but that its significance is about Time – a ‘tick’ of God’s prophetic clock and what’s about to happen globally with billions coming into the Kingdom!
  • Re. Daniel 7:26-27 and John 16:8-11 – the judgement has been, or is about to be, made in favour of the saints and the Spirit of Truth released upon the earth.

Those are just a few and exclude the meaning of two asteroids heading toward earth!  (It reminds me of what demolished the idol in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream – Dan 2.)  If you’re interested, I’m sure you’ll make the opportunity to watch this 90 minute  video. There’s so much wisdom for us to learn from both men of God. Some, I know, may have reservations but this may be addressed as you read on…

Defeating Compromise

Today, I received an email from Keith on his work with Bob in understanding previous moves of the Holy Spirit. They investigated what was done properly and what brought about a decline, what has been lost or why an original mandate wasn’t fully achieved. In opening, he explains:

One of the last conversations I had with Bob Jones dealt with our great need to remain true to God’s word and alleviate spiritual compromise. Bob was a man who clearly remained true to his beliefs and represented the prophetic gospel with boldness, without yielding to the compromise of political correctness. I wrote this article based upon the revelatory encounter that he had and the understanding we gleaned from our conversations on the subject. I believe it is a very relevant word for this hour.
Clearly this nation and the church are presently going through a great shaking.  Naturally, our first question is to understand the Holy Spirit’s objective during this season.  What do we need to gleam from these tests and trials?
As I have been asking the Lord this question I was reminded of a prophetic article that Bob Jones and I brought several years ago…
Scrutiny of these revivals will highlight one principal spirit of a
diabolical nature that has facilitated this demise.   It can simply be identified as the “spirit of compromise”. (Emphases mine)

Keith is referring to the USA but this applies to the UK too, as we may gather in Gillan Scott’s latest blog about Anglicans compromising with the world.

Our prophet continues by recounting Bob’s deep visionary experience and revelatory insights about how this satanic spirit shipwrecks advances within churches, and how it can be most effectively countered and defeated through using the Sword of the Spirit – namely, the living Word of God.

A trio of ‘God-incidental’ prophetic prompts

“Just go with the flow” was an oft-used quip of my youth. Now I’d add, “And see where I go!” for it seems the Lord has dropped me into the river of life flowing from under His throne (Ezekiel 47).

Maybe that’s a simple modern version of the scriptural truths sung in William Cowper’s hymn, God Moves In A Mysterious Way His Wonders To Perform, which I’ve mentioned now and again (eg. as in Is the Hand of God a sign…?)

Perhaps you’ve checked how the discernment and risk-taking needed to catch God’s timing, as in Prophecies for 2014, may apply in your own life? May I offer, in all humility, some encouragement by way of personal examples? Maybe the latest is a sign of what the Lord wants us to pay attention to?  Regular readers are aware of my views upon the validity of serendipity as a route-map in our walk with the Lord – as though we’re not alone in completing an invisible jigsaw puzzle.

That is, various means of communication come together and we gain a glimpse of a much bigger picture. Years ago I noticed that trains of thought followed by unbidden scripture would sometimes harmonise. The latter would confirm the first, or verses on the same topic could come from individuals but rarely at once, often on consecutive days. This could often be three days in a row of separate but resonantly similar words. (Of course, it’s not rare for simultaneous confirmations in Spirit-led meetings.)

In recent years this started to include electronic communications. However, since New Year this phenomenon has accelerated to bring the ‘coincidences’ in getting email and  other material of a personally relevant topic on the same day.

Also, the frequency of this has shot up dramatically in recent weeks!  And this would interfere with my plans to such an extent because I could sense the matter’s priority. That is, I’d come to recognise it may be a matter on the Lord’s hand, or what He wants to draw attention to. For instance – and many thanks to everyone concerned:

  1. Tony emailed about Anglicans modifying baptisms, about which I’d been thinking and had already received an email from someone in that denomination but who was unknown to me (blog 16 January refers).
  2. The postman delivered an article about which I was writing to Daryl because he ‘liked’ a blog of short prompts I’d left in draft – but I’d not published it in that state for I’d intended completing it later! (see 8 February).
  3. Yesterday, Mark commented on this blog’s Library about Wales but I didn’t have any opportunity to read other than approve it. That afternoon at house group we discussed a prophecy from Arthur Burt, which I checked upon returning home. I found it related to Wales and, only after having dug into this, did I read an email from Lynne covering what we’d been talking about in group!!

Today I wanted to continue the next part on the rabbi, the ex-PM and Gabriel, but in my blog’s reading tray was an item I knew needed re-blogging with a couple of my personal suggestions.  I never suspected Mark was already looking into those, as may be read in replies to this morning’s post!

SO today, it’s come in thick and fast! Also, each item has a very personal element.:

  1. Tucson is where Tony lives and where I visited my oldest cousin in 2008. Whilst there I learned about the Lakeland outpouring and subsequently began writing on the subject, which took me into covering End-Times material.
  2. I’ve been to the Bay area of California where Daryl lives, but the evening prior to his input I learned new things about a man who’d inspired me greatly – John Sanford. Not only did he have a similar non-Christian background to me but his books on healing and deliverance, as well as prophecy, encouraged my deep interest and training. Maybe that ‘opened me’ up for what was to happen in the morning? (I hope to cover the details of that evening soon.)
  3. Lynne’s material is connected with the seaside town in North Wales I went to as a very young boy. Also on item 3, I used to live in the same Surrey town as Mark!

Updates to Library of Prophecies

This prophetic word could be highly significant for us to appreciate and grasp. I have, therefore, inserted a brief note with link about Arthur Burt under 1934 in my Library for readers’ consideration.  

In addition, I’m grateful to Tony for having sent me a link to New Covenant Ministries’ Prophetic Word For Our Nation (ie the UK). I notice, however, that the 1987 one from David Minor was delivered in northwest USA.  Today’s ‘coincidence’ may indicate they are both relevant for today – as well as the fact of the 40 years difference between this and the conclusion of an earlier vision received by Smith Wigglesworth in 1947.

That wisdom would apply not only to the connections between the above three persons but also to today’s blog. Note I didn’t write, ‘to the three persons’ lives’. Of course it does relate to that but, I’d submit, it also applies to their prophetic common denominator!

[Aside: interesting to note the preceding verse 2:26 begins, God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight…]

Days before last Christmas I was struck by one of the main verses always featured in the festivities – something angel Gabriel said to young Mary, as blogged a few weeks ago (here). That post considers the prophetic and creative nature of his words brought direct from The Almighty. It closes by promising to explain the relevance of Gabriel’s prophecy of Jesus’ kingship to a vision received by rabbi Kaduri.  Prior to that continuation, I suggested readers may like to read a brief blog on Jewish expectation of a saviour, or messiah.

Good as the promise is and with first paragraphs already drafted, I didn’t get around to finishing it in view of other topical material and home priorities.

In fact, it seems the time just wasn’t right. The unintentional delay opened up a window of opportunity for a confirmation to come along that I was on the right track. It must have been the Lord’s doing – and it’s good to know I wasn’t off-beam or had gone off at a tangent!

Now, in writing about it, I believe He’s pointing me to relevant scriptures and bringing  further insights…bring it on Lord!  I trust you will bear with my building upon what started out as a brief flash of inspiration – it all hangs together.

[Am reminded this is Jewish year 5774 (The Open Door) and what I’ve described above is like entering that doorway and noticing what’s at hand, then looking all around when  past the threshold. Also, on checking this draft I hadn’t thought to write ‘flash’ but now recollect seeing several in the sky just before waking today. The last and brightest flash filled the whole sky and I thought it could be the lightning of Jesus’ return in glory.]

SO, back to what Gabriel said:

Gabriel’s Declaration

After reading out Luke 2 at a carol service I wanted to check the first chapter. There, part of what Gabriel said popped up off my Bible’s page and ‘hit me between the eyes’! And it buzzed in my brain for days, nay weeks, afterwards!

It was one of those ‘aha!’ moments when a scriptural insight strikes like a lightning bolt. Since childhood I’d heard of Jesus Christ as ‘King of the Jews’ many times. But this time a new understanding took me by surprise.  More was yet to come about that prophecy recounted in the first part “I am Gabriel, …”. But what set everything off was distinctly different to what I wrote about in there. To recap:

In speaking to Mary, Gabriel told her about conceiving a child and giving him a specific name. And he went on to state what Jesus would become, “He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end…”.

An Insight

Suddenly, I realised the phrase underlined above meant Jesus would become the king of all descendants of the ancient Israelites, and the Jews in particular. But far more than that – Jesus has always been King of the Jews.

It hit me hard that in The Almighty’s sight, the crucified saviour of all Jews and Gentiles has been ‘King of Jacob’s descendants’ ever since His life on earth.  Although not enthroned, proclaimed, recognised and reigning as such, none of that makes any difference as far as Yeshua Ha-Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) is concerned.

That is, He regards each and every Jew as one of His subjects and loves each of them – from His birth and throughout 2,000 years of rejection, and then to His return to reign and into the future ‘forever’…which is what I’m about to focus upon.

But the people’s leaders didn’t want to acknowledge that fact. They saw the northern rabbi from Galilee of the Gentiles as a dire threat because the populace had watched Him bring dead Lazarus out of his tomb alive, and thus believed in Him and may become followers.

In council with chief priests and Pharisees over how to prevent the Romans quelling the inevitable disturbance, high priest Caiaphas rebuked his fellows, “You know nothing at all, nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish”.  A negative political stance, it was nevertheless a prophetical utterance. Jesus’ disciple John explains that peculiarity as, and making this the latest ‘whack on the forehead’.:

Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. (Emphasis mine)

[Note: John was known to the high priest and recorded his above presumption about the Romans taking away their temple and nation. Caiaphas warned Pontius Pilate  against releasing Jesus and accused him of acting against Caesar. So, the continued reliance on the term ‘King’ by the Jews is key in the decision to crucify Him.  See John 11:45-57 and 18-19. Also, let’s not forget the magi came seeking Jesus as ‘King of the Jews’, which disturbed king Herod.]

Gospel accounts state Pilate was reluctant to order Jesus’ execution and then caved in to pressure from Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin, who all wanted Him dead. Thus, it’s easy to assume Pilate pacified them in order to avoid disturbances when Jerusalem was packed with pilgrims. However, the fact Herod Agrippa was the Judean monarch, as vassal of the emperor, indicates the Jews’ claim about Jesus, which Jesus did not deny, was similar to a charge of treason.

Therefore, Pilate had the reason for the death sentence affixed to the execution stake, or cross, namely ‘I.N.R.I’, which means ‘Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews’.

In so doing, Pilate unwittingly validated what the angel had declared in a message from the Throne of God. (The second he’d been assigned to deliver and declare with all the creative power of prophecy, as discussed in my earlier post.)

Regrettably, throughout its history the Church has been no better in its treatment of those who refused to recognise Jesus as their real Messiah. Until Emperor Constantine’s reign the Roman church financially supported churches in the Holy Land led by ‘desposyni’; that is, ‘The Lord’s blood-kindred’. However, this brotherly provision ceased after a dispute with Pope Sylvester. Under the new emperor the church in Rome became officially recognised and established with power across the empire.

Son of David

Although Gabriel hadn’t explicitly described Mary’s future child as ‘King of the Jews’, that’s what ‘the throne of his father David’ implies.  And reference to Jesus as reigning over ‘the house of Jacob’ means He would be not only king of the tribe of Judah but also of the other eleven tribes descended from Jacob.

David had ruled 1,000 years earlier and unified Judah and the other eleven tribes, or Israel. Collectively they were known as ‘Bene Ya’aqob’, Sons of Jacob, also as ‘Bene Yisrael’ from his new name after having wrestled like a soldier with the Lord, or an angel – Yisrael, or ‘Prince with God’. (See Genesis 32, interlinear)

As a nation-state once again exists in the ancient land God promised to descendants of Abraham then that title of kingship applies to modern Israel too! In other words, Jesus is that nation’s unrecognised and unseen King, but Who is destined to rule and reign in the flesh, as proclaimed by the ancient prophets and himself during His last Passover meal.

Furthermore, as John explains, Caiaphas’ prophecy refers not only to Jesus giving His life for the Jews but also for other people. Also that Jesus would gather together from all over the world, uniting all who believe in God the Father, no matter whether Jew or Gentile.

Is this stupendous prophetic plan of action being fulfilled in our lifetime?  That possibility will be considered in part 2…

Update 4 Dec 2014 – that second part remained unwritten but, as in the first section’s header, it was really a ‘matter of time’. What I intended writing has been overtaken by events, as reported on 26th November in Israel Today – see Arabs and Jews unite to agree only solution to Israel-Palestine issue.

So please ignore that brief title and ‘garbled’ text. Those were prompts in draft to remind me what/when I was to write – but as I slept it got published and emailed to subscribers as shown above! (Apologies if you’ve already seen it and were unable to access before this rewrite.)

Yet Daryl Stewart of Rio Vista liked it just as that single ‘coded’ sentence!

But his ‘Like’ completely upset plans for my Saturday!  My following note left on his blog may explain – AND ONLY NOW in getting that inserted link have I noticed what already heads his blog for today and how it directly relates to what’s happened in the last 4 hours. (That is, it was totally unknown to me – what an awesome way our Lord works.)

Hi Daryl and this is to thank you…especially for your prophetic appreciation of an item for publication –  ie. IN ADVANCE  🙂  BUT it should NOT have been seen!

I don’t know how a quick draft done with abbreviated title and short text of names got on the blog. (I rarely edit by phone but WP’s been upgraded.) It was to remind me to follow up thoughts on the passing of PM Sharon and a couple of prophecies with an excellent piece from Jerusalem on restoration. Yet nothing surprises me any longer…

I was just about to continue with ‘…in my blogging and where the Lord’s pointing me.’ and close by giving you a link to the original item WHEN the doorbell rang downstairs. Postman Tony had a small packet that wouldn’t go through our letterbox, and with it was an envelope from ICEJ.

I knew I had to open it rather than go back to the study/den and finish off this note – IT HAS THE SAME TITLE AND IMAGE AS WHAT I INTENDED BLOGGING ABOUT LATE NEXT WEEK. I just couldn’t stop laughing and as my wife’s at weekend retreat I phoned an elder to relate what’s happened and how it fits into other events of the last 12 hours on my last item and what’s to follow.

My plans were to publish 4 other things in the pipeline first but I guess this matter now comes first – what God has to say has put my plans for the day in total disarray – fantastic, praise you Lord.

Turkey and Iran – a conflict of interest?

According to Reuter’s report of Wednesday, a mutual concern over the rise of al Qaeda in Syria (and Iraq) spurred hopes for this week’s Turkish-Iranian rapprochement.

But couldn’t that claim be ‘dis-information’? Al Qaeda is Sunni Muslim whereas the mullahs running Iran are Shiite and Turkey is a secular Islamic state, although PM Erdogan favours Islamist extremism.

And let’s not forget that even at the height of the Iran-Iraq war between adherents of those two opposing forms of Islam, elite units stopped fighting one another to rehearse the storming of Jerusalem! (See The Invisible Hand Re-appears.)

I’d humbly suggest, therefore, those facts should be kept in mind when considering today’s news of Al Qaeda bases operating openly in Turkey, as reported by Israel’s military intelligence chief. DebkaFile opens its ‘Special Report’ as follows:

Al Qaeda has set up its first bases in a NATO member-country. Wednesday, Jan. 29, the day Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan sat down in Tehran with President Hassan Rouhani, Israel’s military intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Avivi Kochavi revealed that Al Qaeda adherents fighting in Syria had established their first training facilities in Turkey…

The strong impression gained from Kochavi’s briefing was that Turkey is not just home to three al Qaeda training facilities and bases, but that its borders are left open for them to cross in from neighboring countries…

In reading the Intel Chief’s 5-point summary, it’s interesting to note the first refers to the PM’s agenda for “linking the two non-Arab Muslim nations in a new strategic alliance for regional domination” – emphasis mine. This fits the Gog-Magog coalition prophesied in Ezekiel 38.

Also, he stressed that both nations permit, even provide a springboard for, al Qaeda to conduct terrorist operations. Therefore, “Neither of the two new allies…would have any qualms about using al Qaeda terrorism to promote their agendas.”.

His other points on Palestinians and Iran, fallout from the US-Iran nuclear accord and  vulnerability of Europe from attack via a fellow NATO member, are well worth noting.

It’s no wonder Chuck Missler’s Strategic Trends analysis refers to this modern-day alliance as ”The Treacherous Trio of Ezekiel 38″ !

On the significance of Turkey’s turn-around

Yesterday’s news and announcement on this blog merits a brief explanation. As an ‘alert’, it was dashed off because I was about to close down for dinner but decided to quickly check ‘before-the-media’ news.

In fact, my short window on-line yesterday went in congratulating a friend on his political blog’s news. I mentioned that prophetic material in Ezekiel 38 is increasingly relevant. (As already disclosed, that topic had cropped up in my afternoon meeting.) Hence, my astonishment at reading the news from Debka – I was amazed that what I’d spoken of and referred to in writing had become news on that day!!

Why is this news of Turkey’s prime minster turning against Washington important?

erdogan_iran_visit28_1_14If not the first, Tayyip Erdogan was one of the foreign leaders whom Barack Obama called very soon after taking office. After attending the G20 Summit in London, then with NATO in Strasburg and with the EU in Prague, President Obama went to Istanbul and Ankara on 7th April 2009, “to send a message to the world” (per White House transcript). In making a major speech to the Turkish Parliament on the Middle East, Obama wooed Turkey as “a critical ally”.  [Is it a coincidence that Turkey soon moved from being a military ally of Israel to exhibiting great hostility, doubtless encouraged by POTUS’ own inclinations? – see Rewind re. Turkey.]

Two Arabic stations carried Obama’s speech live and Associated Press reported:

Making his first visit to a Muslim nation as president and calling for a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important U.S. ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism. He devoted much of his speech to urging a greater bond between Americans and Muslims, portraying terrorist groups such as al Qaida as extremists who did not represent the vast majority of Muslims.

“Let me say this as clearly as I can,” Obama said. “The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical … in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject.

But Bill Koenig, White House journalist, made this prophetically accurate observation:

This will be an incentive for the enemies of the United States to keep going, believing the U.S. has no fortitude to fight, and that they are winning. [Bang on! Emphasis mine]

It was Obama’s opening salvo in moving the goal-posts and he developed his earlier claims during the tour that the US and Europe must change its attitude to the Muslim world. [From thence he went on to cause consternation in bowing to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.]

Two months later, the broadside fired in his Cairo speech made his lack of historical and political accuracy abundantly clear to informed observers. In encouraging a move towards principles of western democracy and welcoming the Muslim Brotherhood he sent an even clearer signal that American policy was now taking an about-turn.

The rest is history and confirms the bankruptcy of American foreign policy with the  consequential geo-strategic re-alignment of the whole Middle-East. Iran has beaten the US hands down in nuclear negotiations and, after the fiasco over Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations can no longer trust Obama. Therefore, Russia is now taking advantage of the political vacuum in that region.

Therefore, after a close relationship with Prime Minister Erdogan from the outset of his presidency, the Turk’s turning away from Washington to Tehran is highly significant. This is especially so when we recall Turkey had major differences with Iran over Syria. [See Reuters’ article below for detailed update.]

OR, could Obama have instructed Erdogan to make it up with Iran? Or even to get in so POTUS could have a personal ‘take’ on the Iranians? I wonder…

As prophesied over 2,500 years ago, these peoples are coming together, not in any loose confederation, but in a political and military alliance under Russian dominance!!

EXCEEDINGLY INTERESTING TIMES!  The words of the Lord given to His prophet Ezekiel accurately forecasted modern political developments in the region around the tiny state of Israel.
