After these quieter years of reduced coverage of the Middle-East, it’s strange to remind ourselves of the Iranian regime’s ominous role, not only in directing its proxy terrorists against Israel but also its inhuman Shiite theology about the necessity of killing people in order to hasten the return of its false ‘messiah’ (click to read my many posts on this issue).

So I’m pleased to welcome and publish Neil Mackereth’s latest analysis (emphases mine):

THE  EXISTENTIAL  THREAT  AGAINST  ISRAEL – PART 1

Introduction

There seems to be a view that Jews should not seek to prevent their own destruction.

However great the evil atrocities perpetrated against them, it is not long after the event before Israel is being called upon to be proportionate and show restraint – the hypocrisy is staggering.

Furthermore, the recognition, in some cases mealy mouthed, that Israel has a right to defend itself is undermined by the immediate acceptance of Hamas claims of Israeli “atrocities”, without due diligence, appropriate caution, and certainly without equally loud coverage, if and when the claim turns out to have been a lie.

Mass rallies in support of the “Palestinian cause”, in reality, venerate terrorists and infer that genocidal Hamas’ behaviour is resistance, while Israeli resistance is genocide!

The media seem to miss the point that Hamas, the “government” of Gaza, shows no interest in the welfare of the Palestinians living in Gaza, pays no attention to the laws relating to the conduct of war, and seeks the annihilation of all Jews. For Israel to survive, Hamas needs to be expunged, and that may require a surgical strike on Iran, the “puppet-masters”; as well as a ground war in Gaza.

Background

I am convinced that the world faces an unprecedented, much misunderstood and, even now, barely acknowledged threat from both “Radical Islam” and “Apocalyptic Islam”.

I want to be clear; many Muslims are peace-loving, law-abiding and blameless.

However, it is an uncomfortable fact that jihadists and fundamentalists are still real Muslims. Furthermore, it is sad that, as our media shows, there are mass rallies and protests by Muslim extremists, but we do not hear much from the moderate peace-loving Muslims.

Recent events relating to Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran, have highlighted the dangers of complacency when looking at the rise of Iran and its terrorist proxies. Iran is, to a large extent, a hermit kingdom. Our western mindset and ignorance have blinded us to the truth of its intentions and methods. It hungers for genocide; its religious views make it constitutionally incapable of certain types of change, even if that change might ensure its survival; and it considers itself a herald of —and a likely headline player in — the imminent end of the world.

Iran follows a fundamentalist Islamic creed that it believes will lead to a final confrontation that precipitates the return of the Mahdi (the 12th Imam) the Islamic “messiah”. In this respect, Iran has a medieval religious fervour, commitment and mission that the West has difficulty understanding.

This ideology permeates the whole legal and political direction of Iran. There is no genuine recognition of, or negotiation with, any nation or person who has not given allegiance to Islam. In other words, recognition of other nations, international treaties, laws and so on, is only tolerated as a necessary expedient, or stepping stone, to its ultimate goal. In truth, it is duty-bound not to negotiate with infidels. Therein lies the challenge!

Most commentators agree that the Shi’a leaders of Iran are seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, by whatever means, and they make no secret of their ambition to destroy Israel. They seek to hasten the final world confrontation, precipitating the Mahdi’s return. They have also expressed their aim to rid the world of the United States, a country they refer to as “The Great Satan.” We have seen that the possibility of collateral damage to “friends” plays no part in the strategy and tactics of Iran and its proxies.

Israel is convinced that it faces a nation whose rulers are driven by an apocalyptic, genocidal, End-times eschatology which involves the annihilation of Israel.

The question for diplomats and negotiators operating on behalf of democratic western nations, is whether they can rely on there being any honest intent or integrity in any pledges made by those who actually see it as in their best interests to mislead and prevaricate?

The Return of the Mahdi

The Mahdi, or 12th Imam, is the anticipated saviour of Islam destined to lead Muslims to world domination. Some Muslim leaders see it as their duty to precipitate the return of the Mahdi by instigating world turmoil. The Muslim teaching, that Jesus was a prophet who will return, can cause confusion because of its apparent similarity with Christianity. However, the “Jesus” of Islam is not accepted as Son of God and is foreseen as returning as an assistant of the Mahdi, enforcing conversion to Islam.

The belief in the imminent return of the Mahdi is more prevalent amongst Middle-Eastern Muslims than might be expected.

According to a poll taken by the Pew Research Centre in 2012, a surprisingly large number of Muslims in Middle Eastern countries believe they will live to see the return of the Mahdi. The figures for this belief by Muslims of the Mahdi’s imminent return are: Egyptians 40%; Jordanians 41%; Palestinians 46%; Iraqis 72%.

Figures for those Muslims who believe Jesus will return as a deputy to the Mahdi are: Egyptians 39%; Jordanians 29%; Palestinians 46% and Iraqis 64%.

Christians need to be aware of this parallel and counterfeit version of the return of Christ and understand the political implications of this teaching about a false messiah and a false prophet. The leaders of radical and apocalyptic Islam are seeking to mobilise those who share their End-times views and to convert or destroy those who don’t.

Is what is happening in Israel and Gaza an End-times “sign”? The brutality of Hamas certainly fulfils Jesus’ general predictions of violence in the End-times. Radical and apocalyptic Islam might also be seen as contributors to the urgent need for a peace treaty which will, in fact, be the catalyst for the start of the time of tribulation.

My ‘take’ on Iran vs. Israel

Therein I conclude :

‘This blog’s Welcome briefly recounts how I became aware of the huge role played by Iran in ‘The Last Days’. Now and again I refer to Iran in connection with the ‘Ezekiel 38 alliance’, otherwise known as ‘Gog and Magog’ and referred to in Revelation 20.

That role’s warning flags are:

  1. Mid-1980’s joint-rehearsal of the storming of Jerusalem by Iranian-Iraqi elite units, despite fighting on opposite sides during the Iran-Iraq War! (Refer to Review 2 – Iran and Nuclear ‘Fix’).
  2. Very early in his presidency Obama starts secretly appeasing Iran (email 18 May 2009).
  3. July/Aug 2010 – Iran’s nuclear reactor goes live, Supreme Leader reports having been visited by the Hidden Imam about his violent return (email 19 August 2010).
  4. Nov 2011 – referred to event 1 above in ‘Welcome’, introductory post launching this blog.
  5. Nov 2013 – event 1 repeated by Iranian troops in drill ‘Towards Jerusalem’ two years to the date I blogged about the 1980s rehearsal in ‘Welcome’. (Invisible Hand Reappears).
  6. Mar 2015 – The Lord asked, “How many months since that blog you wrote about Iran?”. Upon checking, I’m prompted to expect developments of nuclear deal four months later, ie this July (Review 2 – Iran and Nuclear ‘Fix’). The reference was to when I’d asked if my triple warning about Iran had disrupted my internet’s blogging connection in Nov ’13.
  7. Aug 2015 – new video of IRGC & Iranian proxies ‘imagining’ taking Jerusalem, as related in above section.

Israel and Russia tensions significantly worsened

The biblical suspense has ratcheted up the past two weeks between Russia, Iran and Israel over the Ukraine.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has become something of a proxy battlefield for drones from Turkey and Iran. Ukrainian defense forces have made spectacular use of Turkey’s Bayraktar drones, which have become one of the hottest military products in the world, while Iran is (not very) secretly believed to be supplying Russia with its Mohajer and Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Iran inks deal with Russia to supply them with ballistic missiles. Ukraine asked Israel for air defense help amid drone assault. Russia warned Israel from intervention after an anonymous senior Ukrainian official said that Israel was providing Ukraine with intel on Iranian drones being deployed by Russia. Israel’s Gantz stated they may provide Ukraine with rocket and drone alert systems. Israel relies on access in Syria to take out Iran weapon shipments. Moreover, Russia is not pleased with Israel discussing supplying much needed natural gas to European countries.

These events certainly bring attention to Gog and Magog alignments of Ezekiel 38 and 39 and whether Russia or Turkey is the lead nation in the Gog and Magog war with Israel.

To enable this to get out after a late-afternoon of internet dropouts – even corrections failing – I’m limiting this posting to screenshots of news connecting the prophecies Veronika West brought into the ongoing Gog-Magog alliance of chapter 38 in prophet Ezekiel’s book.

A week or so ago I was taking so-called ‘friendly-fire’ from someone adamantly insistent this prophecy has been fulfilled, according to medieval historians – BUT IF that’s true, then how come modern scholars STILL say its eschatalogical?  AND how come the specific modern-day nations of great military prowess are in an operational alliance???  SEE below, in reverse chronological order:

3 prophecies fulfilled in Biden’s State Of The Union slip-of-tongue

Is it yet another of ‘Resident’ Biden’s gaffes, OR did the Lord make him unwittingly refer to the Gog-Magog alliance whilst making his most important speech to the nation’s political representatives of all 50 states of the American republic!

We recently considered prophesied ‘slips of the tongue’ in Prophecy Fulfilled on Spoken Slips made by Biden Regime and let’s remind ourselves of the specific part of the Word from the Lord of 17th December to Amanda Grace (emphases mine, colour as original):

“And says the Lord of Hosts, the mouth of the one in a White House shall get tongue-tied and twisted as the Spirit of truth descends upon their stump. And they shall reveal the secrets and keys to a plan gone rogue, more lone wolves says the Lord, and they shall connect back. As the donkey so spoke truth to Balaam so the donkeys shall be kicking themselves as they lose control of their mouths at MY WORD and they shall make slips of the century, slips of the tongue that shall change some of the narratives, says the Lord of Hosts, truth serum shall be slipped as those who serve the constitution and this nation have become more and more EAGER to execute operations under the cuff, says the Lord of Hosts….”

Here’s the part of the Lord gave Veronika West on 22nd February in The Bear, The  Beast from the East and The Dragon : 

“…I say Beloved, Watch and Pray, and pay close attention, for in the days ahead the right hand of The Bear Nation shall shake hands with the right hand of the nation of Turkey and a powerful alliance will be created, and then the two shall come into agreement to form a threefold cord of allegiance with the Beast of The East with a desire to destroy the land flowing with milk and honey….”

In the footnotes to that post I drew attention to Ezekiel 38-39 which refers to the Gog-Magog alliance of Russia, Turkey and Iran and is implicit in this contemporary word, as delivered by Veronika.

Therefore, Joe Biden’s prophesied ‘tongue-tied and twisted’ words were directed, as Amanda Grace stated, by The Spirit and turned from “Ukranian” into “Iranian”, and this mistake alludes directly to the connection between Persia/Iran and ‘Gog’ Russia, as in the words given to Ezekiel and to Veronika West.

In view of events in The Ukraine, a clarification of my linking the prophecies Veronika West brought on ‘The Bear’ to the Gog-Magog alliance (Russia, Turkey and Iran) of Ezekiel chapter 38 may be of help.

News subsequent to the word she received on the Bear nation arising with a hunger for war, reminded me of Old Testament prophet Daniel’s vision of four beasts.

A month later the first part of what Veronika heard about The Bear, the Beast from the East and the Dragon focused clearly upon The Ukraine (emphases mine):

“Watch and Pray, for did I not say that The Bear Nation has emerged from a time of political hibernation with a hunger for War and an appetite for greater territorial occupation and domination among The Nations?

Yes!  And did I not say that the Dragon Spirit would strike, and The Bear Nation would invade to take a rich and fertile land?

I say Beloved, Watch and Pray, and pay close attention, for in the days ahead the right hand of The Bear Nation shall shake hands with the right hand of the nation of Turkey and a powerful alliance will be created, and then the two shall come into agreement to form a threefold cord of allegiance with the Beast of The East with a desire to destroy the land flowing with milk and honey.

But I say, Nay!  Nay, for when their diabolical plan begins to unfold, a great unraveling will take place, and the demonic threefold cord shall surely be broken, and the strength and military power of The Bear Nation shall be brought to nought.…”

Although it refers initially to the Bear’s neighbouring nation, I noted the reference to a 3-fold alliance involving another and different neighbour as well as what is indubitably the bellicose Muslim regime of Iran – exactly foretold in Ezekiel’s hearing the Lord about the God-Magog alliance and its intention of invading Israel. Also, the oft-used scriptural description of the Promised Land is of a ‘land flowing with milk and honey’.

AND I recalled how it states the Almighty will put a hook in Gog and his alliance!‘ ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords…’

That post linked into a previous Update bearing news of Iran’s president visiting Putin, who is backing their stance in atomic weapons negotiations in Vienna.

THUS, in the midst of the deeply distressing Russian invasion of The Ukraine – and many important aspects ignored by mainstream media – we mustn’t lose sight of how the words brought by Veronika, and those events, are in accord with Bible prophecy!

To the latter Veronika adds a helpful explanatory Postscript in reply to this question:

“What do you think to Ezekiel 38 Gog and Magog? Because that’s what I’m “feeling”.
“Gog” is “the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal”. The proper translation is “The Prince of Rosh. Meshech and Tubal!” In Hebrew, the word for chief is “Rosh”. That is also the ancient name for “Russia”. So GOG is The Prince of Rosh, or the president or ruler of Rosh. Simply put. – the President or ruler of Russia.”

Yes! The timeline of God is unfolding, but we must also recognise that Satan is endeavouring to accelerate the timeline to destroy the Harvest.

This is why we are seeing the great upheavals, as we pray let us seek wisdom understanding and discernment of the times so we rightly align.

It concerns me that some are just taking the back-foot, because they hold onto a false hope narrative that says, “Don’t worry, it’s all just going to be fine and everything we desire will be sitting in front of us after the dust settles!” This is being in denial not walking in true discernment.

Unfortunately many in The Body have an “Escapism Mindset”. The LORD is not as concerned about our comfort than he is about our character. The road to The Cross was one of suffering, not satisfaction and comfort.

To truly understand the times, we must recognise that prophetically, Nations are now being separated and sifted.

This should not bring fear, but rather a greater expectation for the greater outpouring of the glory that is to come.

Take a look at the Word I gave on what Nations will look like as the weight of His Glory falls… The weight of His Glory will dismantle destroy, uproot and tear-down, expose and purify, but it will also build, establish and plant the new.

When The Glory comes, Nations will be brought to their knees.

THE BEAR, THE BEAST FROM THE EAST AND THE DRAGON

In prayer this afternoon while seeking The LORD concerning The Nations, I heard The Spirit say,  “Watch and Pray, for did I not say that The Bear Nation has emerged from a time of political hibernation with a hunger for War and an appetite for greater territorial occupation and domination among The Nations?

Yes!  And did I not say that the Dragon Spirit would strike, and The Bear Nation would invade to take a rich and fertile land?

I say Beloved, Watch and Pray, and pay close attention, for in the days ahead the right hand of The Bear Nation shall shake hands with the right hand of the nation of Turkey and a powerful alliance will be created, and then the two shall come into agreement to form a threefold cord of allegiance with the Beast of The East with a desire to destroy the land flowing with milk and honey.

But I say, Nay!  Nay, for when their diabolical plan begins to unfold, a great unraveling will take place, and the demonic threefold cord shall surely be broken, and the strength and military power of The Bear Nation shall be brought to nought.

But!  Watch and Pray for surely I tell you, the eye of Leviathan is now upon the fruitful Vineyard, and the tail of The Dragon Spirit is thrashing in the realm of The Spirit, to stir up turmoil and trouble for The Nation of Taiwan.

But I say, keep Watch and Pray, and stay alert, for False Flags and the pointing of fingers will take place to bring a desired distraction from that which is now being fully exposed and uncovered in the realm of darkness.

For I tell you, this is the beginning of birthing pangs as greater and greater shakings and divine disruptions take place as Nation rises against Nation.

For in The Valley of Decision, goat and sheep nations are now being sifted and shifted, scattered and gathered up.

Look and see, for a Demonic Convergence is now taking place over Nations in the midst of birthing, as the spirit of the Antichrist rises to resist the advancement of My Righteous Remnant Army, as they build and establish My Kingdom Government in The Nations of the earth.

And watch!  As the spirits of deception and death masquerade as messengers of light, but come seeking to divide and conquer, dominate and occupy more and more territory, by striking fear and torment in the hearts.

Many who have become woke, weak and willing vessels, have fully submitted and surrendered themselves to an Antichrist Agenda and to a One World Order.

I say again — Watch and Pray.  For The Bear Nation shall bite down hard, and the tail of The Dragon Nation shall suddenly strike without warning in the coming days!”

Gog-Magog update: leaked tape of ‘puppet’ Kerry and Zaif

In my post of last Thursday on Donna Rigney’s prophecy that confirms exposures of corruption through forthcoming ‘leaks’ I gave some screenshots of supportive media headlines. In referring to the above I said details of this leak’s source are especially interesting with respect to the Gog-Magog alliance.

In actual fact, I’d awoken on Tuesday 27th April with a sense of American betrayal of Israel and so the news from USA about John Kerry’s chats with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zaif may be of direct relevance. You may recall my blogging on Kim Clement’s Two Presidents prophecy that US would no longer be reliable ally.

Later that day, I was alerted to Karen Edeling’s comment about Kerry on my post of 23 April on Prophetic Words for USA about the possibility of US military taking action. She refers to this video of Robin Bullock posted 16 April in which he claims to have ‘overheard’ plotters deciding to use John Kerry in their secret schemes:

(From 0:40) – “I heard the name ‘John Kerry’…Now something is moving in the Spirit concerning him. I don’t know exactly what’s about to take place, but I know his name’s being thrown around in the spirit-world right now. And I’m hearing things discussed in private by people for they say,

“We make our plans, let’s use Kerry, let’s bring him and use him this time. He’s no good for anything else – let’s use him in this area. I hear them talk, I see their faces, for their strategies now are going to use a new puppet – let’s use John Kerry. Yes, yes.”

(At 1:58) – “But “NAY” says the Lord. “I am going to unleash a torrent, a river into this earth…”

So, the later news-leak of John Kerry having revealed Israeli attacks upon Syria to Iran’s FM can’t be coincidental. However, we need to examine such a claim carefully and so I dug out the original article on this matter:

‘The recording, of a conversation in March between Mr. Zarif and an economist named Saeed Leylaz, an ally, was not meant for publication, as the foreign minister can be heard repeatedly saying on the audio. A copy was leaked to the London-based Persian news channel Iran International, which first reported on the recording and shared it with The New York Times.’

The part relating to John Kerry is very brief BUT is undated and its position within the disclosure suggest his remarks were made relatively recently, yet it was more likely they were made during his tenure in the pre-2017 Obama administration (and on Kerry’s activity I’ve blogged many times). I’ve also covered some of the Israeli and US actions against Iran from DebkaFile reports and The Four Signposts.

Here’s Farnaz’ reference set in context:

‘On the night that Iran decided to retaliate against the United States for the killing of General Suleimani, two Quds Force commanders went to see the Iraqi prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, to inform him that in about 45 minutes Iran would be firing missiles at a military base where U.S. troops were stationed, Mr. Zarif said. The Americans knew about the strike before he did.

‘Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment, Mr. Zarif said.

‘He also pointed to the cover-up of the Guards’ downing of a Ukrainian jetliner in Iran that killed 176 on board on the morning after Iran attacked the air base. The Guards knew immediately that their missiles had hit the plane, but only admitted to it three days later….’

Kerry’s subsequent denial is, in my opinion, possibly a tenable position because it was well-known that, for its national self-defence, Israel had to make frequent forays against Iranian and Syrian positions. From Zaif’s account of his rivalry with the Iranian general and the fact of total military oversight nationally and internationally, he could possibly have been ignorant of the truth about that Syrian situation!!

EZEKIEL 38-39, GOG-MAGOG ALLIANCE

However, Farnaz’s earlier paragraphs make even more informative reading (emphases mine):

‘In a leaked audiotape that offers a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes power struggles of Iranian leaders, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the Revolutionary Guards Corps call the shots, overruling many government decisions and ignoring advice.

‘In one extraordinary moment on the tape that surfaced Sunday, Mr. Zarif departed from the reverential official line on Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, the commander of the Guards’ elite Quds Force, the foreign-facing arm of Iran’s security apparatus, who was killed by the United States in January 2020.

‘The general, Mr. Zarif said, undermined him at many steps, working with Russia to sabotage the nuclear deal between Iran and world powers and adopting policies toward Syria’s long war that damaged Iran’s interests.

“In the Islamic Republic the military field rules,” Mr. Zarif said in a three-hour taped conversation that was a part of an oral history project documenting the work of the current administration. “I have sacrificed diplomacy for the military field rather than the field servicing diplomacy.”…

‘In the portions that were leaked, Mr. Zarif does praise the general and says they worked productively together in the prelude to the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. He also says that by assassinating him in Iraq, the United States delivered a major blow to Iran, more damaging than if it had wiped out an entire city in an attack.

‘But he said some of Mr. Suleimani’s actions also damaged the country, citing, as one example, his moves against the nuclear deal Iran reached in 2015 with Western nations, the United States among them (the Trump administration later renounced it).

‘Mr. Zarif said Russia did not want the agreement to succeed and “put all its weight” behind creating obstacles because it was not in Moscow’s interests for Iran to normalize relations with the West. To that end, Mr. Zarif said, General Suleimani traveled to Russia to “demolish our achievement,” meaning the nuclear deal.

Mr. Zarif took issue with General Suleimani on other fronts, criticizing him for allowing Russian warplanes to fly over Iran to bomb Syria and for moving military equipment and personnel to Syria on the state-owned Iran Air airline without the knowledge of the government and deploying Iranian ground forces to Syria.’

THE PLOTTERS: BIDEN AND CIA ?

Last week I was able to read Iran International’s Twitter platform and spotted this intriguing reference to Biden’s CIA director Burns meeting in Iranians in Iraq!

Long-time followers of this blog may recall the many solid contributions from Neil Mackereth, especially about Brexit (as in his first, Stay or Leave?), and my review of his book Signs, The Significance of Bible Prophecy.

We’ve known one another for over 10 years since the Sat ‘encounter evenings’ at Winchester Vineyard Church, and then I attended two years of his highly informative evening courses on End-times. Hence my high motivation to write!

A week ago today, Thursday 3rd October, I received this email from him and draw your attention to its content, especially the start of the second paragraph in the light of the Bercow-Brussels conspiracy revealed only yesterday!!

TURMOIL

‘The Lord made it clear to me some weeks ago that we should not get drawn into playing the devil’s games. I had a download this morning.:

“Why are the people in tumult; why do the MPs plot in vain? Many in Parliament rise up: the Remainers band together against the will of the Lord.

”I noticed your comment re the white horse in Revelation 6 (it is the first horse, at the opening of the first seal). Derek Prince suggested that it represents Jesus sending out the Gospel to the nations for one last call (opportunity) before the 3 subsequent horses.

At first I couldn’t believe it. Wow, what a news event! But I only saw the story on Zero Hedge. That site is fairly reliable but one never knows if it might be fake news. But having seen the story later on Fox and CNN it was real.

There was a coordinated drone attack on Saudi oil facilities knocking out over half of Saudi Arabia’s daily oil output!! The largest single oil processing facility in Saudi Arabia, and in the world for that matter, was taken out.
