Yesterday morning, as I was praying concerning the sanctions being imposed on Israel by our Foreign Secretary, Edward Miliband, I became so righteously angry and I began to pray fervently that God would speak to me concerning this situation and concerning what is now unfolding between Britain and Israel!

The sanctions announced by Miliband include a ban on imports from Israeli settlements in the West Bank, alongside further measures targeting settlement-linked companies and individuals.

Israel has responded strongly, announcing the closure of the British Consulate in East Jerusalem and other retaliatory measures!

Well, fast forward to early this morning — 10 September 2026…

As I was driving early into Belfast, I suddenly heard these Words,  “Watch!  Miliband, is the MILLSTONE around the Neck of the Labour Party!

Watch!  Ed Miliband shall be ‘Millstone Ed’ in the Party!”

Now I immediately thought of the Words I gave recently talking of Millstones and the Economy and I’m sure there are a number of Prophetic threads there….

However, I thought also as I heard those Words of Jesus, who spoke concerning a Millstone being hung around the neck — and the severe Warning!

”It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea,”   Luke 17:2.

So, a few minutes ago, I posted what I had heard the Spirit saying, and literally within minutes of posting, I received a message from one of my followers saying:

Back in 2015 when Ed Miliband was Leader of the Labour Party he unveiled what became famously known as the “Ed Stone”, which was a massive 8½-foot-high limestone monument weighing approximately two tonnes, into which Labour’s six key election pledges had been carved.

It was intended to stand as a permanent symbol of Labour’s promises to the British people.   (The Guardian)

Just days before the 2015 General Election, Nick Clegg publicly mocked Miliband’s enormous stone monument and called it the “great Milistone around his neck.”

The Independent actually ran the headline reporting those very words. (The Independent)

But Labour went on to lose the 2015 General Election … and the “Ed Stone” quickly became symbolic of the failure of Miliband’s election campaign.

Contemporary reactions reportedly moved from describing it as the “EdStone” and “Headstone” to the far more striking descriptions of “Millstone” and “Tombstone.”

Now here we are 11 years later…

We are witnessing again Edward Miliband at it with what is unfolding between Britain and Israel.
