Whilst focused upon the Lion Bites post I got ‘nudged’ to visit this new blog and so pleased to find this item harmonises with it. Thank you for such well-written observations and insights.
Have you ever felt fetters fall away? The invisible, spiritual sort that satan shackles all those with who allow it a foothold to gain a grip upon their souls. The time that happened to me is etched upon my soul. Upon internally hearing, “Burn what you’ve collected – now!” I took articles from my life spent in occult study into the garden, put a match to them and repented. Immediately, I unmistakably felt heavy chains fall from both wrists! As in Charles Wesley’s glorious hymn ‘And Can It Be?’ – “My chains fell off, my heart was free. I rose, went forth and followed thee!”
Thus, the following two words circulated by UK Prophetic Words on this theme resonate deeply with me. Although 12 years apart, the timing seems significant (see footnote):
BREXIT and GREAT BRITAIN – THE SHACKLES HAVE BEEN BROKEN!

I’d been agitated all day (as had others on team here) but since midnight was really praying re Brexit. Immediately felt God say “DECREE don’t pray!”.
I started to decree “Brexit shall happen in the name of Jesus!”.
Immediately, I saw a massive sledgehammer slam down on a huge, thick chain link. I kept decreeing. Each time I did the sledgehammer fell. I saw the first link break, then became aware of another. Kept decreeing until it broke, then two further chains. At this point I saw they had been around the legs of a large male LION. Now I could see a thick iron collar, blindfold and muzzle. I kept decreeing. The iron collar opened and dropped off, as did the blindfold.
I could sense the lion’s anger and a roar building. The moment the muzzle fell away it roared mightily, leapt forward and grabbed the enemy, Satan, by the throat, shaking and dispatching it (rather like Aslan with the white witch). I kept decreeing but now the scene changed.
The lion had on a royal red robe, was wearing a crown and had a sceptre of authority. I knew it was releasing MANDATES. There was an immense sense of PEACE, ORDER, and AUTHORITY.
My sense throughout it all was that the LION was representing GREAT BRITAIN (as is often seen on the coat of arms) and that the enemy was responsible for the shackles. The lion’s STRENGTH on being released was immense.

Then the Lord showed me a large lion – and He said – “This lion represents the nation of Great Britain” – And it was a shocking sight – for where the lion should have been filled out and sleek and gleaming – it was almost a skeleton – and its mane was barely visible – and its coat was covered in mange – and its roar which should have shaken the nations in its power and in its ferocity was strangled and barely audible. And the Lord said, “This represents both the glory of this nation at present and the state of My Church as a whole in Great Britain”. And I saw in great letters – the words – “THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM THE LION – BUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL RETURN AND THE LION SHALL ROAR AGAIN.”
And the Lord said – “Bring back My glory – Bring back My glory that your nation may once more walk in the glory of its destiny – and the Church may show forth My glory” – And the Lord showed me huge flourishing green tree that was planted in the European mainland – its huge trunk seemed to be PLANTED in BRUSSELS and the foliage had grown so dense that the trees branches and foliage had grown over the English channel and covered Britain in a great dark shadow and thousands of smaller offshoots and branches had taken deep root in Great Britain – and I saw the roots tangled and grown into London and then through the British Isles up all the way to Scotland.
The Lord said – “These are the deep roots of secularism and humanism that have taken deep root in this nation – these are the roots that are eroding this nation’s faith!” And I saw thousands upon thousands of people bowing in obedience to this tree and the roots were tightly twisted around their ankles – but they seemed totally unaware of this – that they were bound – and so they rejected the faith of their fathers – and I saw a great scoffing and a great decline in the traditions and the foundations of the past – and this mass of people was divided into two camps – the first huge mass of people whose ankles were bound by the gnarling roots of the green tree from Europe were younger and seemed more modern in their approach – and I saw written over their head – ‘UNBELIEF’ – ‘CYNICISM’ – ‘HUMANISM’ – and the foliage and green leaves seemed to shadow their heads – and I sensed that they were being attacked at a cerebral level.”
But the second group seemed to be those whose roots and foundations were from the established traditional denominations of Britain – yet they were just as affected as this first group – but I saw written over their head – ‘PRIDE’ – ‘SKEPTICISM’ – ‘CLOSED MINDEDNESS’ and I sensed that the roots around their ankles had bound them in a different manner – that even if they heard the call of the Spirit in these days that the spiritual forces had them so bound that they could not move with the tide and the times of God – and I saw the green foliage literally cover and shadow their foreheads and eyes and I saw the word blinding.”
And I said to the Lord, “Father – what does this mean?” And He said – “The spirits that led Europe into post-Christian decline – have invaded Great Britain over these past decades – and have infiltrated and overshadowed the nation with the same humanism and paganism and secularism – and yet Britain is still so blinded by her roots and her foundations that she is still declaring herself a Christian nation” – but the Lord says that – “She has been shackled by the enemy.” And I said “Lord what can break the shackles?”
And the Lord spoke and said,“The prayers and fervent supplications of My saints in Great Britain – the repentance for the sins of commission and omission on behalf of the governments of Great Britain – on behalf of the people of Great Britain.”
Then as people dropped to their knees all over Britain from every walk of life and denomination – the lion started to change – and He grew strong and sleek and his roar grew stronger. And I saw written in the spirit – “Create in me a clean heart O God – and renew a right spirit within me“. And as the people started to seek the face of the Lord I saw the word ‘COURAGE’ – and I knew that in the spirit realm that Great Britain had been endowed from the beginning of time with the mantle ‘COURAGE’ – and the Lord said,
“LIONHEART”.
And God said Britain has yet to move into her end time destiny in the nations – And I saw again in great letters – the words –
“THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM THE LION – BUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL RETURN”.
And the lion’s roar by now had gained strength.
Received news this morning from Mark Johnson at The Academy of Light in Australia of the latest e-magazine of insights from renowned prophetical voices. It has an extra item about one of the anti-christ spirit’s current activities in the USA (the Official War Against Trump), to which my Footnote refers:
‘Winds of change are now blowing across the world and the church. This year will see enormous changes occurring across nations, affecting people and the church of Jesus Christ. Birth pangs are now beginning in earnest, with contractions coming more quickly. The whole of creation is groaning and this is a reflection of the battle between light and darkness.
‘God’s word makes it very clear that the true church will reach its greatest glory during the darkest times that this world has ever known. It is of great significance that the best wine has been reserved for this generation. Many things have been reserved for this last generation which can be distilled into one word, fullness. The cup of iniquity is filling up and the fullness of God’s purposes for the church is now upon us. The fullness of our salvation, that perfect man is about to emerge.

In my coverage of Obama’s Cairo Speech of July 2009 I expressed reservations about the claims of that new president of the United States being a brother in Christ. Also noted was his favour upon the notorious Muslim Brotherhood, the extremism of which I’d read in Egyptian Mark Gabriel’s personal account Islam and Terrorism. (He’s a former professor of Islam and of Islamic history at the prestigious Al-Azhar university – see this post).
I do not wish to be judgmental yet had noted knowledgeable writers’ assertions of Obama being a crypto-Muslim, or even Antichrist itself. The overwhelming evidence of his two terms supports the sentiment of such claims of his furtherance of the Antichrist’s agenda; not only against the nation he led, and especially Bible-believing Christians, but also against the Jewish nation of Israel – and in doing so brought the Genesis 12 curse for failing to bless those people upon the American people.
Read in the download of that ‘yesterday’ man’s reprehensible activities in Organising For Action, along with George Soros’ United To Protect Democracy, in plotting to sabotage his duly elected successor President Donald Trump. Never in the history of modern America have such undemocratic, marxist-style activities been undertaken and countenanced.
Read more about this in Paul Sperry’s Opinion in New York Post, which is quoted by William Koenig from his desk in the White House. In his Eye-View, Bill also cites Christian Post on Obama’s lifelong friend, marxist (?) fellow-traveller and supposed clergyman, Jim Wallis, as starting a witch-hunt against true, righteous Christians! This crank claims White Evangelicals Voting for Trump Represents “A Crisis in the Church”!!
Preceding those two items quoted at length and under the sub-head Obama Called Himself a Christian, but: Bill also cites dozens of examples of Obama’s deliberate failure to uphold Christian beliefs, twisting of scripture and causing deep damage to the church and Christians – not to mention Obama’s refusal to stand against persecution of Christians!!!
In view of recent words on the parable of wheat and tares now coming into play, perhaps the Lord is already arranging for the extraction of those tares from His harvest?

YINKA OYEKAN: PROPHETIC VISION OF NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION
As I left Cornwall on Friday afternoon (10th Feb 17), I had a vision of a New Apostolic Reformation emerging across this United Kingdom. I saw Apostolic leaders walking arm in arm with and serving denominational leaders in humility.
In this emerging season the bride will be empowered as her leaders serve her and wash her feet. For her leaders now understand these revisited Ephesians 4 graces were never to create a platform for an individual, nor were they sent in previous generations to fracture the body or boost the ego of man but rather they have been given to mobilise a powerful bride where every saint ìs equipped and looks more like Christ.
One equipped saint will feed 1000 hungry souls, ten will feed a city. Father’s purpose and focus in a new apostolic reformation is not only to revitalise the priesthood of all believers where the extraordinary will become ordinary, but to ensure her pastors and leaders are supported and discover a new confidence. Empowered pastors will empower their flock.
I saw intercessors hovering over this move like Angels, their prayers ascending to Heaven providing an echo of his glory over the nation, a prayer covering of incense thick as a cloud. This cloud has been a faithful witness rising before the throne room. The prayers of the saints have covered these shores, and hidden Fathers purposes from the enemy; now Father having received her prayers is doing a new thing.
These intercessors will not be seen as an optional extra in church life but will be seen as central to Father’s purposes, they will walk arm in arm with this new apostolic reformation.
Father will bring extraordinary Ephesians 4 Ministries together into a new apostolic liberty, and this time they will flow as one, understanding and embracing each other, no longer fractured and isolated pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelists, but rather flowing as peers in one river.
Father is particularly determined to build up Church pastors who have felt isolated and will provide in this reformation a safe haven where they will be loved and supported, served and equipped within their denominations, and they find access to committed peer relationships outside and within.
Denominational leaders will embrace and support this new apostolic reformation as honour will flow in both directions. This reformation will have a new name, previously hidden by Father which he will reveal. All this is part of the latter rain.
Father has been shielding this new apostolic reformation from the eyes of the enemy but he will soon bring it to light. I see a new generation of leaders who serve and use their strength to build HIS kingdom and not theirs. There will be signs and wonders within the church and without, as this new wineskin emerges. It will form the basis of a new unity movement.

“I am revisiting you with My fire and My power.
“I am calling you to come into a deeper and fuller encounter with Me and with who I am.
“Move towards Me now as I call to you, to meet you where I am in this new season. Come and meet with Me.

There is a new baptism of fire coming to the church and God is inviting us to pursue it and chase after Him in a new way. We are to position ourselves for the fullness of the fire and the fullness of His power in these days. So choose to position yourself and choose to press in for this fullness for these are the days of a new outpouring of God’s Baptism of fire.

Highly encouraging news of spiritual developments in Washington DC was brought during yesterday’s service at Church of His Presence. Revd John Kilpatrick expressed pleasure at hearing a president-elect wishing ‘Merry Christmas’ but dismay over ACLU filing a law suite against a football coach and school county for his praying with his team!
In the archived video at 46 mins mark, listen to John as he reports,
“…It’s amazing when you see how divided the nation is…but I tell you what I’m believing for in the next four years – not because of the President-elect – but I’m believing because we’re now beginning to show signs of turning to God and I’m believing for revival to come to America. Can you shout ‘Amen’?
“…I know a fine young man, I believe has the potential one day to be another Nathan Morris (worldwide English evangelist).
“I was put in contact with him recently…on the telephone…it was exciting talking to him because he was saying, ‘You’ve been my pastor for all these many years, you didn’t even know it, you’ve been my mentor and I was part of the Brownsville Revival’.
“So now he’s working in Washington DC, right on Capitol Hill and so the other day they invited him – well they didn’t really invite him, they demanded him! – because the chaplain couldn’t be there that morning and they had no-one to begin the session in prayer, in Congress.
“So they looked around and couldn’t find anybody and came to him and said, ‘You’re going to lead us in prayer this morning!’ He said, ‘I can’t!’ They said, ‘You’re a minister aren’t you?’ – he said ‘Yes’, so they said, ‘Do what you do!’ – he said, ‘Oh, oh!’.
“So he got up there and led in prayer and the Spirit of God fell!
“And he left the podium and went out in Congress and he started praying for the Congress people – and he prayed for Nancy Pelosi…Tears started running down her face and she said, ‘I believe you’re the real deal!’…so how many of you can (now) believe with me for revival for America?”
If you have time, continue watching John briefly speak about ancient wells of revival being opened and then giving words of knowledge Holy Spirit had given him at 5am for a couple of people, whilst blessing the congregation prior to giving their offering.

It was brilliant to see Charlie in Church yesterday (who is having a very dramatic experience coming from a challenging lifestyle). Also John who is homeless (was at death’s door when we met him and didn’t want to be helped off the streets) and he looked so much better.’

Veronika West 7th Sept: A WORD FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM
“LOOK! THE CHILDREN ARE COMING CARRYING THE FIRES OF REVIVAL, A TIME OF SIFTING IS TURNING TO A TIME OF RADICAL SHIFTING”!
Two days ago I was in a time of prayer for Theresa May when I heard in the spirit the sound of a beating drum but it seemed a way off in the distance, as I continued to press into the sound, suddenly I saw an army of children marching on the horizon, I saw them dressed in garments of pure white light, they moved and advanced to the sound of the beating drum, immediately I heard the Father say,
“MY DAUGHTER BEHOLD I AM DOING A NEW THING IN THIS HOUR AND IN THIS NATION, TELL MY PEOPLE TO FORGET THE FORMER THINGS AND NOT TO EVEN CONSIDER THE THINGS OF OLD, NOW IT SHALL SPRING FORTH; YOU SHALL KNOW IT? WATCH! FOR MY LAMBS ARE ARISING AND ADVANCING IN THIS HOUR, CLOTHED IN THE FIERY GARMENTS OF REVIVAL, AND ANOINTED WITH KINGDOM POWER, AUTHORITY AND REVELATION, THESE ARE THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF PEACE AND PURITY WHO WILL LEAD THE SHEEP BY A NEW WAY, A WAY THAT LEADS TO A NEW LAND OF PROMISE AND VICTORY, FOR I AM RESHAPING, READJUSTING, REFASHIONING AND REBUILDING THIS NATION, ITS TIME FOR MY PEOPLE TO MOVE AND SHIFT, MOVE AND SHIFT, EYES HAVE NOT SEEN, EARS HAVE NOT HEARD AND MINDS HAVE NOT CONCEIVED WHAT I AM ABOUT TO DO IN THIS NATION”, says God.
As I heard the Father speak these powerful words, I saw His hand write across the skyline the words, “PARADIGM SHIFT, IT’S TIME TO MOVE”!
Now after hearing Him speak, I began to praise Him for the NEW THING that He is doing in the midst of our Nation, when the Holy Spirit impressed upon me a picture of a ‘Drummer Boy’ who would march on the battlefield ahead of the Army beating on his drum. The picture was so clear and so powerful that I immediately looked up some details on the duties of a Drummer Boy, and this is what I found; Now among the many tasks of a drummer boy one was to beat the cadence for the soldiers that were marching. But one of his main jobs was to be the communicator for his unit. The drummer boy established communications and kept order among the units in the field. The drummer boy would use one of many drum calls for everything from assembling the troops to march, to gathering the officers for strategy meetings, and also to sound the call to advance or retreat while under enemy fire.
Drummers always remained near to a high-ranking officer to play the drum calls that would relay the officer’s orders and commands. The drummer boys were often awakened at all hours of the night to drum the call. Frequently, he would not be able to go back to sleep, because once the men were assembled and deployed, the drummers would lay down their drums and act as runners between outposts, carry stretchers or do whatever was necessary to help the unit.
I found this information incredibly exciting, enlightening, and powerfully prophetic of what God is doing and about to do with the younger generation in our Nation at the critical time!!
This month is extra-special in marking not only my birthday and our wedding day but also when the Lord so graciously put in a jaw-dropping appearance that prevented me – despite myself – going to my future abode (as told here). So what Veronika West heard from Him a week ago today (Monday 5th September) resonates with me:
“THIS IS YOUR LABOUR-ROOM MONTH”
HA! I just heard the Spirit say,
“Many will mark and remember this ninth month as a ‘Labour-Room month’, SHALL I BRING TO THE BIRTH, AND NOT CAUSE TO BRING FORTH? SHALL I CAUSE TO BRING FORTH AND SHUT THE WOMB?”, says God.
”EVEN NOW MY BUILDING SPIRIT IS REALIGNING, REARRANGING AND REPOSITIONING MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS FOR A TRANSFUSION OF GREATER POWER AND A TRANSFER OF GREATER KINGDOM WEALTH AND RESOURCES, THAT WHICH HAS BEEN LOCKED UP AND BLOCKED UP WILL NOW BE REVEALED AND RELEASED IN GREATER POWER, PRECISION AND AUTHORITY, FOR I AM BIRTHING A NEW THING, AND BRINGING MANY FORTH INTO A NEW PLACE OF GREATER INCREASE, INCREASE, INCREASE, MANY WILL SAY, “A NEW REALITY IS BEING BIRTHED AND A NEW LAND IS BEING REBUILT”!
“FOR THIS IS THE HOUR OF DIVINE CONVERGENCE, HEAVEN IS TOUCHING EARTH, MY WARRING SPIRIT IS SHAKING LOOSE THE OLD FOUNDATIONS AND SHIFTING THE HEAVY ATMOSPHERE OF DARKNESS, THE CHAINS OF LACK AND LIMITATION ARE BEING BROKEN, MY SPIRIT OF MIGHT AND POWER IS DEMOLISHING THE STRONGHOLDS OF POVERTY THAT HAVE DEPLETED AND DIMINISHED THE FAITH, VISION AND EXPECTATION OF MY PEOPLE”, says God.
“GET READY FOR A DEMONSTRATIONAL WIND OF MY SPIRITS POWER WHICH IS NOW BIRTHING GREATER SIGNS, WONDERS AND MIRACLES IN THE EARTH, FOR NOTHING SHALL STAND AGAINST MY RESURRECTION AND REDEMPTION POWER”!
“LISTEN! THERE IS A SOUND OF A LOUD RATTLING, THE BREATH OF NEW LIFE IS COMING UPON THE VALLEY OF DRY BONES, FOR I AM GOING TO SUDDENLY CHANGE AND TRANSFORM THE STATUS QUO, IT WILL NOT BE BUSINESS AS USUAL, BUT THAT WHICH HAS LAID DORMANT IS NOW BEING STIRRED UP, AND THAT WHICH HAS BEEN DEAD IS NOW RECEIVING THE POWER OF NEW LIFE AND THAT WHICH HAS LAID DERELICT IS NOW BEING REBUILT AND RECONSTRUCTED IN THIS HOUR”, says God.

Hitch-hiker and author of High Plains Drifter, Tim Shey, opens his comment on Prophetic words on Great Britain as sports-superpower, as follows:
‘I was reading the Psalms the other day and in Psalm 103: 31 it is written:“And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.”
‘I thought about Great Britain when I read that scripture. Look at all the saints that died preaching the Gospel in Britain and the ones who died translating the Bible into English. Look at what happened in England during the 1600s: the King James Bible, the English Civil War, the Glorious Revolution: these greatly influenced the formation of the United States and other nations. The Lord will never forget Great Britain. The most influential language on the planet is English.’
With that in mind, note how appropriate that is for what we were to hear later that Monday evening whilst watching the recently delivered dvds from Legacy 2016. I wanted to check the full content of Lydia Marrow’s address that I’d blogged about the previous week.
Therefore, let’s consider what followed after the powerful prophecy delivered under Holy Spirit’s anointing on 2nd July. Lydia’s ‘topping and tailing’ of it gives some background to her great excitement!
After Nathan Morris speaks about the vision of Shake The Nations he hands the mike to Lydia to introduce herself and her role in STN and she says:
“I used to be shy – I used to hide behind the pews in my dad’s church and when Jesus set me free in the Brownsville Revival I got up and I was a different person. I lost my ‘normal’ – my ‘normal’ died in the carpet in Pensacola, Florida – so please don’t try to resurrect it!

Immediately after declaring “The British are coming!” Lydia encourages everyone to stand, pray and praise for a minute…closing with, “I feel better for that – d’y’all feel better?”
“I refuse to be bored in church and this pastor’s daughter decided a long time ago: I refuse to be bored in church – if we’re not going to meet with God let’s go home!
“It’s just such an honour to be here. In case you’re wondering why I’m so passionate about God pouring His Spirit in the UK, history tells us that the United Kingdom and the United States do not have Awakening apart from one another! (emphasis added)
“You’ve got to break through! We need it too! In fact, it seems to me that lately our nations are all shook up…I felt so much better when I got here and everyone started resigning. Thank God we’re not the only crazy people!
“We’ve got to have a move of God…I don’t know if you know it but there’s no ‘Plan B’! We don’t have a better idea – there’s no comfort zone to have anymore. We’ve got to have a move of God.
“You know, and I believe – and you’ve seen it in these services – there comes a moment in each service when you’ve got this option to do what your idea was, or to cooperate with the Holy Ghost…There’s a cooperation with the Holy Spirit that comes, and when we choose to say “Yes” to that – when you choose to lock into that – everything changes.”
Each time we watch her delivering this prophecy the Holy Spirit confirms its authenticity by sparking within us, as when He ‘struck’ during Trooping of the Colour. If this sort of ‘event’ is new to you then please consider the introductory remarks of that link.

Long-time readers may have noticed an increase in my blogging about a spiritual linkage between the UK and USA, especially regarding words delivered under the Holy Spirit’s unction. These got tagged Bridge Over The Pond. So I’m now skimming through these to add a couple more items to the suggested reading list below.
I find the very first blog on this topic may itself be especially significant – it’s Get Ready… and refers to historic Paul Revere’s Ride. [Even typing that brings up ‘goose bumps’! And maybe it’s in conjunction with Kenny Peavy and band singing Holy, Holy Is The Lord Our God!!]
WOW – how can I share what’s coming in this timing? I’m reminded of Lydia prophesying, “The Redcoats are coming. The British are coming!” – reputedly Paul Revere’s alarm call to fellow colonialists in Massachusetts as he and two others rode from Boston on the night of 18th April 1775.
But today those words are are spiritual alarm call to the new Awakening!
And this ‘God-incidence’ brings a download of insights into a dream of almost 5 years ago when I saw and heard “The Kingdom is being set up”. That was the same day Bill Johnson prophesied that weekend in Sept 2011 may be regarded as a turning point in the UK (see Father Let Your Kingdom Come.) A preparatory report of 2010 to that Revival Alliance Gathering referred to the relevance of that ‘ride’ but this is no longer available on the web.
I can but conclude, therefore, a great deal is happening in the heavenlies to bring about a massive shift within our historically linked nations. Ours has already begun…
Thank you to UK Prophetic Words for this from Stuart Wentworth published today. Its second part reminds me of the ‘ditch-digger’ youth team of 1990s across churches in Reading (one member of which had a vision of what’s happening there this year as blogged here):
BREXIT – MERCY TRIUMPHS OVER JUDGEMENT
1. In the week leading up to the 23rd June I had a strong sense of spiritual travail, I was aware of being in labour is about the only way to describe it.
2. Following the result on hearing the furore from the Remain side I had a strong sense that the Lord had come down and placed his feet on the UK, in particular the financial square mile of London to deal with a root issue in the nation, that of greed, love of money, covetousness (which is idolatry) and hedonism. What happened on the 24th June was that the voice of Great Britain went round the earth and shook every financial institution in the world. I believe this was a prophetic statement as to how the voice of the church in the UK will again be heard in the earth and will deal with spiritual principalities and powers.
3. In the aftermath, a few weeks ago in a worship time in a meeting in Southampton I had a ‘video vision’ in which I saw the UK just after WW2 and it was in light. I sensed I saw the Lord looking at the nation but turning away in sadness. He seemed to say ‘I have to go away, defend until I come’. As the video ran over the years the light over the Nation began to dim. There were occasions when it seemed that light had shone again, eg. 1950s Billy Graham crusades, 1960s and 1970s with the charismatic renewal, 1990s with Toronto, but the overall trend was always downwards with increasing darkness. As the darkness grew I began to see small lights appearing over the land which slowly increased especially in the last 25 years or so. These I understood to be people interceding and crying out for God to move. This included many who came from overseas lands who received the Gospel from this land and came to stand with the church in this nation.
What I sensed overall was that ‘under the radar’ the Lord has been preparing a remnant and digging ditches of relationship across the UK. I believe the intercessory prayer, the praise and worship has been ascending to heaven and filling the bowl and that this bowl has now been filled. What I understood was that we have passed through an ‘exile’ period of 70 years, this has been our judgement. We have thought it was something that was coming to us but we have been in it for this period. I believe this exile time has now finished and that the Lord has drawn a line and said ‘enough’, the bowl is full. Now he has turned his face towards us and now is the time as it were to return to re-build the altar and foundations as in Ezra. Mercy and grace have triumphed over judgement. This is for his Name’s sake not ours. He remembers his purposes for this nation and in particular he remembers those over the last 200 years who have left to proclaim the Gospel in other lands and many who laid down their lives for him.
As the church begins to recover I sense we will yet pass through a time of opposition because the nation will still be going downwards and the enemy will resist all attempts at recovery. But now God is on our side as our Father even if he still needs to bring correction to us as his children it will be in love so that we might share his holiness.

A WORD FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM, delivered by Veronika West and published on facebook Monday 22nd August:
“I SEE A NATION MARKED IN GOLD WITH GRACE, BLESSING AND VICTORY”
In my prayer time this morning as I prayed for the Nation suddenly I heard the loud roar of the Lion of Judah go forth across the land, I felt the earth shake with the intensity of His consuming love and divine protection for the people of this Great Nation.
Then I heard the Spirit say,
“Great Britain you shall become a sign and a wonder among the Nations, for I have marked you in GOLD with GRACE, BLESSING and VICTORY, Now Arise and Shine for My Glory has risen upon you..! Watch, for I have put your Name upon the lips of ungodly Nations and I have turned their eyes towards you. My Beloved have I not promised to bring Restoration, Reformation and Redemption to this Great land? Have I not promised that Nations would be drawn to the brightness of your rising? For even in this hour and season as they gaze upon My Glory, Grace and Victory that covers this Nation their hearts will be challenged, changed and transformed All Nations will see My governing hand of Justice, Mercy and vindication moving across this land, and All Nations will see the power of My salvation sweeping like wild fires across this Nation, and the power of My Redemption will flow forth like a mighty river to cover and consume the works of darkness and destruction that has ravaged the land“, says God.
“Listen, for there is a sound of rattling, the rattling of dry bones coming together, Watch for a great and mighty Army of Radical Reformers, Light Bearers and Glory carriers are now Rising up from the Valley of dry bones. My Beloved, Watch, for the 7 Whirlwinds of My Spirit are now blowing across this Nation for there is a divine convergence in the realms of spirit taking over this Nation in this hour, the 7 Spirits in the 7 Whirlwinds have come to Revive and Reawaken the sleeping Giant in the land”, says God.
After hearing these words, I asked the Father to confirm His word to me for the Nation, as I walked downstairs I immediately encountered a sweet angelic presence in my living room, the atmosphere was thick and heavy with His Glory.
Then again I heard the Spirit say,
“I HAVE MARKED IN GOLD THIS NATION WITH GRACE, BLESSING AND VICTORY”
I walked into the kitchen and immediately my eyes were drawn to the small television I have in the kitchen, and on the screen I saw the highlights of the Olympics, which read, “GREAT VICTORY FOR GREAT BRITAIN, WINNING 67 MEDALS AT THE 2017 GAMES”, Immediately the Holy Spirit quickened to me His word in Palms 67 which reads;
“God, mark us with GRACE AND BLESSING,
The whole country will see how you work,
all the godless nations see how you save.
God! Let people thank and enjoy you.
Let all people thank and enjoy you.
Let all far-flung people become happy
and shout their happiness because
You judge them fair and square,
you tend the far-flung peoples.
God! Let people thank and enjoy you.
Let all people thank and enjoy you.
Earth, display your exuberance!
You mark us with blessing, O God, our God.

Earth’s four corners—honor him!
As you can imagine I did a GLORY DANCE in my kitchen, THANKING THE FATHER FOR HIS IMMEDIATE AND POWERFUL CONFIRMATION OF HIS WORD OVER GREAT BRITAIN IN THIS HOUR.

Congratulations to Team GB for winning 23 gold medals and a total 67 in the Olympics at Rio 2016, thereby coming third overall and second in gold medallions, between USA and China. Here’s a word published a week ago today courtesy of UK Prophetic Words that promises a fresh exaltation and baptism:
UK, I AM THE LORD WHO HEALS YOU AND LIFTS YOU UP
Why do Britons keep on winning? And why is the Union Jack raised up day after day? And why is our anthem heard over and over again? And why is this happening in so many different and unexpected events? And why is this happening at this time, before a watching world?
“Because I am going to give many in this nation victory, and I am going to exalt your nation, and My song is going to be heard in your land over and over again, and these blessings will flow to every aspect of the nation and from every part of My church – and a watching world will see and be astounded, that I am the Lord who heals and lifts you up.
“But this is not your doing – it is by My grace and by My mercy, and by My generous Spirit which I pour out in love upon You – so that My Name may be glorified.”
In my mind’s eye, I saw a mighty and invisible hand grip the UK by the Cornwall-Devon peninsula then raise it high out of the sea and whirl it around in the air like a football rattle, round and round it went, three times. And dust and cobwebs and dirt and insects flew off, and everything that was not anchored down and secured flew off into space. And then the hand plunged the whole nation into the sea, and I heard a voice say, “In the name of the Holy Spirit, be new!” And then it was plunged into the sea a second time and the voice said, “In the name of the Son, be clean!” and then it was plunged in a third time and the voice said, “In the name of the Father – be Mine!” and the country was held there under the sea and I did not see it withdrawn….

A morning session on Sat 2nd July at Shake The Nations Legacy 2016 gathering in Peterborough was a time for the STN team to introduce themselves and tell about their work. As in previous post’s video clip, worship leader Lydia Marrow suddenly delivered a special prophetic word for Britain, as follows:
“I know I’m supposed to do another thing but I feel like an explosion – would it be alright if I prophesied now, ok?
“I feel like I’m about to blow up y’all! I can see a picture in front of my eyes:
“I see the British Isles – ok? – and I can see it’s like epicenters all over cities in the north, south, east and west in the United Kingdom. In every nation that comprises the United Kingdom there’s epicenters, but it’s like a hole – and out of those holes is a gushing river; but not just one and none of them are bigger than the other!
“And this is what the Lord says to the United Kingdom:
“There is coming a GUSHING, a RUSHING RIVER of My Glory that will SATURATE from the north to the south, from the east to the west! God says, NO, I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU! YES, I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT and in the midst of what seems to be THE GREATEST SHAKING YOU’VE KNOWN IN THIS GENERATION, the Lord says, I AM UNSHAKABLE AND WHAT I WILL DO IN THIS PLACE WILL REMAIN UNSHAKABLE!

Prediction, prophetic words and visions are pieces of God’s invisible jigsaw puzzle. The spirit of wisdom taught Solomon ‘It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings’ (Prov 25:2).
Moreover, as mature sons and daughters of The King, His Holy Spirit may enable us to discern pieces and aspects of the immense invisible jigsaw He’s laying down – and it seems to be of the harvest foretold in scripture.
We need to consider some recent, related events first:
Yinka Oyekan’s vision of the coming harvest of souls in New Britain isn’t the only one to have been received by Christians. His, however, connects into a developing one that came to me before and after the EU Referendum.
Yinka posted on Facebook 4th August about angelic armies, areas being newly blessed and the harvest. The next day Veronika West brought A Now Word for the UK. which opens by referring to the ongoing spiritual battle that I’ve covered elsewhere, and then goes on,
‘Listen!…Listen! Heaven heralds new hope, new life and UNPRECEDENTED HARVEST IN THIS HOUR“! I see battle lines drawn in the spirit…’
I quote extracts from this magnificently heartening word but, to gain a proper appreciation of the outcome, I strongly recommend your reading it in full from the above-titled link:
‘I wanted quickly share something with you all, this morning in my prayer time, I had a short vision, and in this vision I was shown what looked like a LARGE FIELD OF CORN, THE HARVEST LOOKED READY. AS I LOOKED UPON THE FIELD I COULD SEE WHAT APPEARED TO BE WARRING ANGELS STANDING IN THE FIELD, AS I LOOKED AT THEM, EACH ANGEL PERFECTLY AND STRATEGICALLY POSITIONED, SOME FACED THE EAST, SOME FACED THE WEST, SOME FACED THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH…
‘My interpretation the HARVEST IS READY, AND HELL IS NOT HAPPY!!! I submit Satan has assigned His demonic cohorts to the fields that are READY for Harvest. There is battle over the United Kingdom that is raging in the heavens in this hour for this ETERNAL HARVEST…’
Personally, this is exceptionally encouraging because the parable Jesus taught about the harvest in the ‘Gospel According to an Inland Revenue Tax-collector’ (see Matthew 13:) prompted my starting to write with ‘The End-game is Now in Play’. NOW, get ready to find out how eight pieces of an invisible jigsaw came together:
Bringing prophetic pieces together
Lead-in to EU-Refendum
The day I blogged about previous Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s prediction of popular opinion about the European Union along the lines what prophet Daniel foresaw (see Daniel chapter 7) we went to Winchester for an evening meeting of intercessors. Our friend Neil Mackereth, whose summary Stay or Leave? was one of the first of many blogs on the EU membership referendum, had mentioned that gathering and we thought it appropriate to attend.
That day I published Vision of Spiritual Battle for Britain’s Birthright in which Veronika West claims to have seen mighty warrior angels in a fierce battle and tug of war over the future destiny and sovereignty of the UK, wherein she saw:
“A Mighty Guardian Angel stood hundreds of feet tall and with eyes of blazing fire: he stood with a raised sword and shield which completely overshadowed the whole Nation of Britain”.
At the evening’s inter-church intercession a couple of folk brought scripture and prayers about our spiritual birthright. Towards the close I referred in passing to the vision of UK’s Guardian Angel but, at the very mention, a couple of sisters were affected so strongly in their spirits they immediately reacted physically. (Like when the Lord spoke to Nina during Trooping of the Colour and she saw the scrolling text: “This is MY country!”)
Winchester – 1st jigsaw piece
Other than with Neil and convener Caroline, I haven’t yet shared what I’d ‘seen’ throughout the meeting in Winchester Vineyard church. Here’s my email to her:
‘Whilst we stood in a rough circle I kept getting the impression of a huge outline of Britain hazily hovering a foot or so off the floor between us. It was as though we were standing as giants all around and looking down on Britain with our backs turned towards Europe and Scandinavia…
‘I was positioned by the ‘Isle of Wight’ and, after Neil read about Jesus telling Satan to get behind him, I was moved to declare that S in Europe get behind and away from Britain.
‘Also, I saw a huge tear through the ‘map’ and emerge over a larger area (ie North Downs to Scottish borders?) then when I saw a similar but very clear open vision 12 years ago (https://richards-watch.org/2011/08/18/comments-on-sharon-stone-collapse-of-society/ refers)
This latest was a faint yet persistent, transparent outline of the English, Scottish and Welsh coastline. I noticed it was as though on a large map-table in a ‘situation’ or war-room and we could perhaps be engaged in strategic planning.
At the close of the meeting it suddenly ripped open, as though an immense and invisible tin-opener had pierced and prized open most of the land. I saw torn parts of metal curling upwards along the length of the country north of Salisbury Plain and across from Swindon area to west of London. The colour of the land that was ‘visible’ was an orange-sand all over – how peculiar, thought I.
Referendum Polling Day
In the late 1970’s ‘Sandra’ was blessed with a vision of Britain lighting up, similar to that of Jean Darnall but without knowing about her until later. The Lord directed ‘Sandra’ to keep praying since 2002 because “the tide has turned” and told her it would look as though He’s not answering prayers, “But I am, in my own time and in My own way”. On 23rd June she was able to observe remarkable events at a polling station and informs me:
“I watched God’s miracles unfold – incredible even though I’d prayed for this for many years. There was 80% turnout…queuing at the door before 7am determined to vote as soon as polls opened. All day they came, old people and 1st-time voters, and many in between. Some did not know how to vote but they were determined anyway. I know God would have influenced them in their choice. Some had great physical disabilities and could hardly walk or some had other impairments but they got themselves there somehow. There wasn’t any time for staff to take lunch. It was truly amazing. In the end, whether they acknowledge him or not, all people will serve their Creator. “Your Kingdom’s coming – Salvation Day – a time of breakthrough – the Lord is on His way. Only our God is strong to save. Only our God will save us.” Thank God that we will never completely know the horrors from which we have been saved had the country voted the other way. Thank God that He will, in time, help Europe too.”
All that’s especially so in view of polling day’s unusually heavy storms and flooding!
Peterborough – 2nd, 3rd & 4th jigsaw pieces
Shake the Nations Legacy Conference in Peterborough (covered briefly here) brought developments upon that Winchester vision. During the elevating, prolonged worship of the first evening I sensed a golden-yellow light radiating towards East Anglia and out over the North Sea. (The 2nd piece.)
Funnily enough it was directional and not a full circle – just like we see on radar screens depicting where the radar beam is sweeping. Again it was another map image.
A couple of worship sessions later I had a distinct impression of a map of the UK main-land and again it was like a bright orange sandy beach but this time it was all over, for the huge gap that I’d seen previously had disappeared! Furthermore, I saw a giant hand moving all around the land gently smoothing and patting it. Any signs of ‘cataclysmic’ tear across the nation had been folded back, repaired and healed and covered by what appeared to be a nation-wide field of colour void of any habitations or forestry. Then I realised the entire land looks just like an immense field ripe for harvest: all the way from Lands’ End in Cornwall to John O’Groat’s at the top of Scotland and across from the Welsh peninsulars to the eastern coast abutting the North Sea! It must surely signify all Britain will soon be harvested for souls coming into the Kingdom of God – their personal salvation! Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord that His will will be done on earth – in Britain – as it is in heaven!
This new vision was soon to be confirmed. On the morning STN staff shared their vision for further global evangelism worship leader Lydia Marrow from Alabama suddenly burst into prophetic flow about many towns in the UK erupting with heavenly rivers – the 4th piece! Also, she called for “Redcoats” (Yankee term for 18th Century British army) to come, which must relate somehow to what the Lord was indicating when Nina saw the Coldstream Guards marching down the Mall for Trooping The Colour. [UPDATE: video and transcript now available.]
I’d drafted most of the preceding paragraphs as soon as I could on Wednesday morning. As I was doing so yet more pieces to the jigsaw puzzle appeared via my PC. Whyever not? Many times as I blog relevant email, news or songs have turned up ‘coincidentally’ . After all, the Lord taught me a deep lesson whilst building it (see And Now A PC Gospel?)
Angels in Peterborough – 5th & 6th jigsaw pieces
Now for an excellent example of the Lord’s timing, or ‘God-incidence’. Soon after I started writing about Winchester an email arrived from a couple with whom I’m only occasionally in touch. We’d met Peter and Rosamund D at the gathering of early 2012 mentioned in the post about the new PM’s mission fulfilling a 2005 prophecy (see Fulfilled Prophecies #9). [‘Weirdly’ enough the distance to that venue in Torquay was another validation of my encounter with the Lord in 1989 as well as of prophecies for 2012, as recounted here.]
Their email is headed ‘Vision on 3rd August 2016 at Faith Camp Peterborough (!!) during the prophetic worship’ and is the 5th piece. It reads:
‘Immediately the prophetic worship started on Wednesday evening, I had an awesome vision.
‘My husband and I both heard a “creaking” sound! The Lord said, “I have opened the ancient gates to the nation!” Then I saw millions upon millions of warrior angels arrive through these ancient gates. They were all dressed for battle and close together in formation. Then I saw a great light, as the Lord Himself arrived.’
Immediately I stopped blogging and, in view of the 6th piece – a dream I’d had that very morning (Wednesday), I could confirm their vision and replied as follows:
‘Had an awesomely powerful dream that woke me up wide-awake. It was multi-level symbolism and conscious learning with continual and intense praying and prophesying in tongues for UK. In essence, I think it means the Lord is empowering intercessors…to declare and prophesy Godly changes into our leaders and situations, thereby taking our heavenly rulership so that His will will now be done on earth as it is in heaven; ie. for and in Britain. He even gave me an understanding of how His purpose for Britain inspired Henry VIII’s building a naval fleet, thereby preparing for our great maritime power in evangelising globally and building a Christian empire.
‘…the most powerful part was when I saw swing-doors/gates closing against what was coming from the heavenly realm YET the power from heaven continued to pour through mightily!!’
Peter replied, “We are encountering one divine set-up after another!”

Prophetic Word from Oz – 7th jigsaw piece
Taking a break later that day I mulled over hard-copies of long prophetic words that I only have time for quickly scanning on-screen. One was Word for the Nations, including UK from Amanda Wells, now shown in Thursday’s post.
It confirmed that insight into Henry VIII’s fleet by Amanda’s referring to August trade winds having “enabled the European empire to expand into the Americas and trade routes to become established across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans…Historically trade routes were the avenue were the avenue where religion, trade and technology spread across regions…many became paths for great revivals also…”
The ‘Now Word’ for UK – 8th jigsaw piece
Today (Thursday) I decided to scroll through Veronika West’s site as my Facebook blog-page doesn’t get any automatic feeds from those I’m interested in. So I caught up with her post of 5th August, as above, wherein she describes seeing “A large field of corn – the harvest looked ready”, rather like the UK-wide golden ripe field in my third map vision described above.
All of this relates back to 2009 when I had to tell friends and church leaders about Matt 13 parable of wheat and tares and that I’d heard, “This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”
Conclusion
To those personal eight pieces we could add the original that ‘kick started’ them, the vision of a spiritual battle given to Veronika and that to Yinka of regional awakening and harvest.
Could our heavenly Father like doing jigsaw puzzles with us? Has He got a jigsaw box ‘Souls Harvest’ and does He want us to help Him solve it and put it all together? Events and evidence suggest that’s what He’s got and would like us to do – so we thank and praise our Heavenly Father in revealing His plans to His sons and daughters.

As I drove into Liverpool to preach at Frontline the Lord gave me this revelation:….
“Have you not understood it is time for harvest and so I have placed Theresa in a position of prominence, her name means harvester and she will, for a time of reaping is at hand. It is my will and good pleasure to bless this land and so, get ready to reap. I am releasing an army of evangelists in the United Kingdom; can’t you see it? I will sweep though this land”.

God’s been speaking to me a lot about Brexit, which I knew nothing about before I came to the UK. And He gave me a Word, He said
“This has been by My Sovereign hand that the vote went the way it did, I am safeguarding Britain for when Europe falls. Europe is being shaken, and will fall. It will fall, says God, but Britain has separated itself, and because of this vote, the UK will not fall. It will be like in the days when Joseph was in Egypt. Like Egypt was to the world, so Britain will become to the world in years to come. Once again Britain will become the Bread Basket to many countries, and a place of safety, and a place of provision. And it’s been an answer to the call of My Saints, who have prayed faithfully and said ‘Lord protect us and save us’.”
That’s why it happened. There were people who cried out and said Lord would you heal Britain, would you hear our cry, and He did. So even though it goes beyond some people’s understanding, God says He is safeguarding Britain through this vote. God is asking a people of faith to get behind this. Believe that He’s answered a cry of prayer. And even though it can’t be understood fully right now, God is going to show His great hand and what He’s done, and we’re going to thank Him and praise Him for this, because there’s a victory that has come out of this and is coming. He’s establishing Britain as a leader once again. He’s awakening the sleepers, the ones who’ve been asleep spiritually He’s awakening. The army is rising up, God is raising up His body in this nation, with power. (Emphasis RB)

It was most encouraging to receive the following email from friends in the coastal area of south Devon to Monday’s Keep Praying and Bless for Plymouth and area (followed by Exeter). I’m grateful for their permission to publish the following:
‘How amazing; I was just hearing that people from all over the world are coming to Plymouth in the expectation of something very special about to happen. Devon is rocking! A Devon Awake conference last week, and some significant prayer over Dartmoor last Thursday, in which we were involved, all led to a big shift in the spiritual atmosphere (and) there has been a significant reconciliation of people from different walks of Christian life in a spiritually significant place – who would have thought it!
‘The plans for the Mayflower anniversary in 2020 are really bringing the town alive, and a programme of regeneration is visible to all; Plymouth is firmly on the UK map as a great centre for business after many years in the doldrums; this is all verifiable and of course is the outworking of what is happening in the spiritual realms. I have contacts from one of the churches in Plymouth, but have heard the same stories from several local people …’

It so happens that Yinka Oyekan of The Gate, Reading was a guest at last week’s Devon Awake (‘Five days of crying out to God for awakening’), as told in his and River Church Exeter’s Facebook entries for 13 July – my late father’s birthday!]
This email news is most welcome confirmation of my going out on a limb to commit myself to copy that daily prayer for 10 weeks in a busy schedule. At least its a relatively simple task of copy-pasting, a little editing and setting an auto-schedule for publication.
After that ‘drunken dream’, however, it seems the Lord wants me to do this. Having done so I then realised it fits in with an impression I had a couple of months ago of how the Lord may want me to take a new tack in blogging and using maps! That unusual dream’s scenario reminded me of the kiosks and buffet-station (although light-green in the dream) on the river Dart’s quay beside Dartmouth’s main square, as in my accompanying photo.
There’s hardly a dull moment when following the Living God and His Son Jesus Christ. Thank and praise you Lord…
I wonder if this from Yinka Oyekan in Reading may be what Smith-Wigglesworth and, 50 years later, his prayer partner Norman James may have seen? (as here RB):
A prophetic vision: – There is a shaking coming to this nation unlike any that has been seen in a generation. A fulfilment of many prophetic words. God is about to move in ways that will cause the foundations of Hell to shake and the pulpits of the churches to rattle and some to be replaced. The normal acquiescence to what are considered cultural norms are about to shift.
I saw in a vision Father and he had stood up and was calling out the names of his sons and daughters, and pointing to the cross and they came running to him. On the streets of the UK, scales were falling off their eyes and many had a change in their countenance as they heard his voice and stood in his presence. They were transformed into courageous prophetic individuals fearless and willing to hold leaders and brothers and sisters to account.
I saw that it is not just political organisations that will be shaken in this season. I saw ecclesiastical structures and organisations being shaken. I saw crowns falling and thrones being removed. A grass-roots call for the church to return to the word of God and its foundational truth will take hold, as believers become desperate for a Christianity that is authentic whilst embracing, kind but honest, pure but forgiving, reflecting of true holiness and unwilling to betray the blood of Jesus Christ.
I saw city after city in a revival of a love for Jesus as the Glory cloud descends. I saw in the vision intercessors suddenly burning brighter as if the Lord had turned the dimmer switch to its brightest setting, they became like glowing ones, like the angels. I saw in this vision flames of fire raging through the heavens as the tongues of prophets became like tongues of fire, a holy fire.
I see a deep conviction coming upon the church about their moral laxity and complacency, and I see the bride of Christ released from her constraints as Fathers love descends and takes a hold of this United Kingdom. And then I saw the streets filled with multitudes worshipping God with tears and with hands raised in exultation as the orphan spirit over the nation was broken and the nation turned once more to her Father in heaven.
“When Lord?” I said when I saw the vision and he said,
“Soon son, soon. Tell my people to prepare their hearts so that on the day of my visitation they will stand, and tell her leaders I want my church back, and tell my sheep in this outpouring that started in Reading, it’s them and their sons and daughters I wish to empower, So come to the waters and drink.”

Upon visiting Yinka’s Facebook and church website The Gate, I noticed they meet in the building previously used by Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist), which was planted by Carey Baptist in central Reading. I attended TFC from 1990, was baptised by Revd Barry Kirk and stayed until marrying my dear Nina in 2002, thereby moving to East Hants.
This reminded me of a vivid ‘flash image’ I had in a service at Meadway in the mid-90’s of a nuclear explosion but in reverse! It was about the time most Reading churches started praying together. I understood the image to mean the Lord’s power would unexpectedly explode but it would come inwards to the town and thereby get concentrated.
Let it be so Lord…
