David Hathaway: Brexit & EU – continual prayers needed

Further to David’s request for prayer regarding the EU-Referendum, he emails:

I do believe that when God called me to evangelise Europe over 50 years ago He gave me a strong and clear vision of Europe in prophecy – this was the reason for the magazine, ‘Prophetic Vision’, and subsequently the film, ‘The Rape of Europe’.

Now the breaking news will even more strongly evidence what God has revealed to me. The Express online, 29th June states – ‘EU Superstate to be unveiled, EU nations ‘to be morphed into one’, post Brexit!

This is exactly what we showed in our Prophetic Vision magazine as far back as 2008 and repeated in the run up to the Referendum in our Summer 2016 edition No 80. I was clear in my own perception that the main issues raised in the campaigning, immigration and the economy, were only a smoke screen to hide the real issues, such as total loss of sovereignty and the creation of a superstate. Next week (July 9-10), I am the main speaker at a Prophetic Conference in BELGIUM!!

I intend to speak out strongly on the future of both an independent Britain and Europe’s future in the light of Bible Prophecy. This sudden and shocking news does confirm the importance of our Referendum and is a strong wake-up call to the Church to respond – if only we would prayerfully consider exactly what God says in His Word!

Now, as Christians, we need strong leadership spiritually and also politically and must act decisively. I believe that just as we prayed earnestly for God’s will to be done, we must now believe that the outcome is part of God’s plan, both for us as Christians and the British nation as a whole. God is setting us free for a spiritual purpose and we must as Christians and Church unite until we become ‘The Head and not the Tail!!’ We desperately need to continue to pray for unity in a nation divided, but also that God will bring a spirit of repentance and forgiveness on both sides. I believe that prophetically this is God’s way forward for us as a nation, to take a lead in returning to Biblical standards as individual Christians, but more importantly, led by a Church which must return to God-commanded Biblical Standards, unchanged by man’s sinful nature. Let us thank God that He is about to free us from the secularism which came from the French Revolution and Napoleonic law in Europe. Now we must return to our Judeo/Christian heritage especially because one result of mass immigration has been to bring the false gods and heathen culture from the very nations where we sent missionaries to convert them to Christ! Thank God for those who converted there, who have returned to bring the Gospel back to Britain. But with them have come the ‘missionaries’ who seek to radicalise our youth with their false religions!

Just as the preaching of John and Charles Wesley saved us from the French Revolution, and our National Days of Prayer called by King George VI during the darkest days of the last war saved us from Hitler, I believe that once more we must rise up in prayer to resist the ‘enemy within our gates’! We shall not see a repeat of the ‘Welsh Revival’, never in history has God either with Israel or with us repeated His awakenings! Today we face a different enemy, not just the sins of ‘the world, the flesh and the Devil,’ but a two-fold attack from the same Devil with a different strategy: the total secularisation of society and the rise of an alternative religion. The fault lies not with the world, but with us – we have failed to preach the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ which by repentance and forgiveness, changes men and women, offering not just comfort, but hope and faith and power and blessing and relationship with God, through Jesus Christ!

Suddenly I am in demand – after Ukraine, several countries now want National Days of Prayer – more of Europe is desperate for the Gospel – even the Government in Israel now needs me! The demands on our finance are more than doubling – I saw this coming and we ask you to pray with us that ‘God will supply all our needs according to His own Riches in Glory.’

Thank you – the Bible says, ‘Pray without Ceasing’. We have won a battle but not yet won the war!!!

A most poignant reminder as we approach ‘The Shaking’ (Heb12:26) that we’re livimg in times Jesus prophesied as being like the ‘Days of Noah’ (Matt24:37)!

westminsterI saw this picture on Twitter. The Guardian journalist that tweeted it seemed to think it was somehow symbolically significant and I agree it is. The Bible in Genesis tells us that the rainbow is a symbol of God’s covenant with Noah, that following the flood he would never again destroy the earth due to the wickedness of humanity:

And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generation: I will set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth [Genesis 9:12-14]

So, what is the message of this picture? The first one is to politicians at Westminster. God is in charge and none should get ideas above their station and the second is to God’s people in what is…

The Lord has cut the scorpion’s sting!

Thank you to Valerie Russell for permission to publish this most encouraging word from the Lord about His perspective of Britain and EU:

“I HAVE REMOVED THE STING FROM THE SCORPION’S TAIL!”

Once again, as in battles gone by, I have raised up My hidden army who have stood in the gap for the deliverance of Great Britain! You trusted Me, and the words of My Prophets. You laid aside all of your own natural reasoning and worldly consequences of Exiting the European Union. Because you have exited from this ungodly Union, the onslaught that the enemy had intended to invade Christian Britain has been thwarted at this time, and in doing so you have made a way for My plans and purposes for this Great Nation to take effect, for you have now set in place My redemptive purpose for the destiny of this Great Nation as it is written in My book in heaven.

Look at what has happened from My viewpoint and see that I have a bigger plan. A plan for this Nation that will enable the redemption of other Nations. And Great Britain, you are not alone, have I not tied you to a Commonwealth?

The historic decision that the Nation has made has, in actual fact, started the process of weakening spiritual darkness and structures over Europe, and has cut strings of the demonic entangled web that the enemy has created in Europe.

I have put a plumb-line in the midst of you, and My plumb-line has revealed the nation’s failure, I built you true oh Great Britain, but you became corrupt. You aligned yourself with the Babylonian systems of this world.

However, I have been raising up and releasing spiritual reformers in readiness for the shaking of the Nations, and now, I will rebuild your structure according to My plumb-line. Christ Jesus is always the Chief Cornerstone, but it is imperative that you build the right solid foundations. Build ‘governmentally’, do not ignore My Apostles and Prophets that I have raised up for such a time as this, as they are foundational! My prophets hold ‘keys of knowledge’ that I give to them, they hold the keys as to ‘what’ to build that always carries My Prophetic Purpose, so don’t allow the religious spirits to shut the mouths of My Prophets. My Apostles carry wisdom and revelation on ‘how’ to build and advance what the prophets have revealed and released. So, work together oh Apostles and Prophets, there is so much more power and authority in your synergy, and listen carefully to Me, work with My Intercessors as this 3-fold cord cannot easily be broken. Is this not the pattern that I gave to Zerubbabel, Haggai, Zechariah, and Ezra when they rebuilt?

I have raised up, and am raising up even more so now Apostles and Prophets in every sphere of society. I am realigning and positioning, REALIGNING and POSITIONING! So please change your religious mind-sets and reasoning capacity that you thought that Apostles and Prophets were only meant for the Church.

Hear, O children, the instruction of Your Father, and pay attention, and be willing to learn, so that you may gain understanding and intelligent discernment. ‘Let your heart hold fast my words’; ‘trust in and rely confidently on Me with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding’.

And let me assure you oh Nation of Great Britain that although you have to go through sufferings and shakings because of times of instability, the next 5 months will not compare to what was to come upon you had you remained joined to this ungodly confederacy, because ‘I have now removed the sting from the scorpion’s tail’! Yes, ‘I have removed the sting from the scorpion’s tail’!

Is Brexit an ‘Act of God’? Yes, but it challenges churches!

“We now need to recognise the outcome as an act of God – but so much of the future now depends upon the Church’s response”. (Revd Dr Clifford Hill: Deliverance Day!)

A vicar in Liphook, East Hants, spoke about God moving in Reading and said someone who definitely wanted the UK to remain in the EU woke up Thursday morning and heard the Lord tell them to vote ‘Leave’!

Insurance companies class the uninsured perils of that day’s floods as an ‘act of God’. The previous day, Brietbart News predicted a major ‘Act of God’ storm would upset billionaire speculator, hedge-fund player George Soros’ closing play of scaring undecided voters into the ‘Remain’ camp (see Brexit: Soros Defeated by Act of God).

As you know, that night saw an awesome turnabout. Pollsters were expecting ‘Remain’ to take a lead to victory throughout the night’s results. And so it seemed as the first result was declared and Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independent Party, conceded defeat. But a sudden and against-the-odds unexpected swing in the morning hours led to ‘Leave’ becoming the people’s decision. At over 17 million it was the largest majority ever seen in British electoral history.

As a leading politico-religious blogger remarks in Independence Day UK: Resurgence of Democracy; Restoration of Sovereignty:

‘The whole entrenched elite Establishment – Monarchy, Parliament, Government and Church – has been confronted by an epoch-making movement of ordinary people, including humble, devout and sincere Christians who have been tarnished with the whiff of sin and smeared with racism, all because they believe in democracy, national self-determination, and the ability to sack those who make their laws’.

So what’s a secular, democratic decision got to do with God??  Readers of this blog will know the essential political points as well as spiritual and prophetical case for getting out of the EU, as listed in ‘EU In God’s Face’ (re-titled EU & Brexit).

However, as an intercessor friend witnessed at a weekend event, many churchgoers are very confused over the whole EU-issue and our future!  It begs many questions, the main one: why are church leaders woefully ignorant of the essentials?

Probably the main reason is that most of us are focused upon God’s Kingdom and prefer not to consider – even disdain – earthy politics and its distasteful reputation.

Nevertheless, the turmoil of this deeply divisive referendum presents church leaders not only with an opportunity for ministry and evangelism, but also and especially in the major challenge of why didn’t THEY know the Lord’s heart on this matter!!

For example, Anglican archbishops and theologians stood on and then fell off the wrong side of the fence. Justin Welby is reputed to have said he doesn’t have a direct line to God – why not?  Ordinary believers can and do hear clearly from our Lord, so why doesn’t he? – especially upon such an important issue!

The fact that many gave a clear prophetic direction of proven accuracy for the nation must now provoke leaders and members of all churches to start taking prophetic gifting far more seriously than before. Also, the office of prophet needs to be recognised and re-stored, as well as the extensive teaching, encouraging and manifesting Holy Spirit’s many gifts for the benefit of those not yet saved.

Churches should, therefore, now move powerfully in evangelism by telling how God told His servants a ‘taster’ preview of the EU-Referendum’s outcome – His purpose being to bring millions into the salvation HE purchased for them in His own Son’s blood. That is, it demonstrates God is real and loves them immensely, not wanting any to perish.

Prophetic Words Supportive of ‘Brexit’

So, let’s refresh our minds with a sample of prophetic words supporting ‘Brexit’ as an act of God; that He’s behind, directing and changing our alliance with Europe.:

  • 2005 Vision of Great Britain – Wendy Alec: extensive foliage and deep roots from Brussels overshadow, extract and erode faith and shackle people to ungodliness. The Lord wants us to restore our glorious destiny and awaken the lion’s heart.
  • 2012 Significance of Hurricane Sandy – Dr Sharon Stone: The Lord says,“Parts of these winds that are blowing, part of these winds that are bringing a re-arranging, are blowing away what has confused nations of their identity“. We’re not the only nation that has been in an identity crisis. I believe that many of our nations have had skewed identity and the Lord is saying; “I will bring you out of what you have designed by your own thinking and by your own hands – listen to that! – that I may redesign it by My thoughts and My plans”. In arguing my case for Brexit as ‘an act of God’, I’d also submit on the other hand that the exceptional opposition to the surprising turn of events comes from exposing and unseating of satanic strategies against people. In other words, we always know we’re on-track with the Lord and rattling satan’s cage when we’re met with an intensely severe reaction!

The history of lies and deception and post-Referendum sheer hatred, expose satan’s hand in stirring up deep, irrational and venomous opposition – even from clergymen, as blogger ‘Archbishop Cranmer’ encountered. (‘Never in a decade of blogging has so much bile and vomit been spewed in this direction…’!! – this post refers and even in Jan 2017, as here!)

Therefore, let us praise, exalt and glorify our Father, Son and Holy Spirit as He moves in subtle and open power across our nations here and beyond the English Channel.

Lastly, I didn’t look until now at the startling prophetic word received in 2012 by Dr Stone about an exceptionally violent hurricane. It’s surprisingly apt; especially in revealing not only the Lord’s intimate involvement in today’s upheavals but also His redesigning and remaking our national identity – a New Britain!

New Britain: A UNITED Kingdom under Lord Jesus Christ

Another contribution from David Hood to the brief outline at UK/EU in/out #5 of the Vision for Great Britain the Lord gave Wendy Alec in 2005, warrants repeating as an individual post in its own right.

In commenting upon that outline, Dave offers items from a series of 12 visions starting in 1997 that show God’s love for this nation and our nearest ‘neighbour’, France, as well as God’s purpose for the UK in relation to Europe as a whole. The one dated 2003 is most apposite for today in view of  Brexit and Scottish hopes for separation. Dave writes.:

‘Many of us inhabitants of Great Britain, and even some outside of us, will not say that we are a UNITED Kingdom, but more a DIVIDED nation. One has only to have looked at the troubles of Northern Ireland, the SEPARATE and devolved parts of Scotland and Wales. Their animosity stretching back centuries for all to observe. In fact Scotland, Ireland and Wales are Celtic nations, and one may even include Cornwall, part of England whose roots are also Celtic. Yet, seemingly, England rules supreme.

‘Even geographically, the boundaries remain. Hadrian’s Wall separates Scotland from England and Offa’s Dyke separates England from Wales. Even Northern Ireland is separated by water from Scotland and Wales. Indeed the whole of Ireland itself is separated from each other, with a border between its North and South.

‘A number of years back, whilst attending the 1st Braveheart Conference in Edinburgh. I believed the Lord said this to me… “JUST AS HADRIAN’S WALL SEPARATES ENGLAND FROM SCOTLAND, AND OFFA’S DYKE SEPARATES ENGLAND FROM WALES (PHYSICALLY), SO TOO, AM I UNITING THEM SPIRITUALLY.”

‘I then had a picture of England, Scotland and Wales joined together to one another, with NO geographical, political or historical boundaries, with the Dyke and the Wall removed. There were not 3 separate entities, but ONE. Later the Lord said to me… “I am doing a work amongst the Celtic nations”. For the first time, I realised that Ireland had its place with Wales and Scotland as IT TOO, was a Celtic nation.

‘He reminded me of the myth of a great giant who built a causeway from the north-east tip of Ireland to the south-west part of Scotland…He said… “In the same way that I am joining Wales and Scotland to England; I am crossing the divide between Ireland and Scotland and joining them to Wales and each other”. I could see part of God’s plan. He was taking them over on “dry ground”

‘The miracle here is that England IS NOT A CELTIC nation, but He will join them to these other Kingdom parts for His purpose and His glory. England is far more akin and likened to Europe…yet He will make Britain United and Great to transport and transfer his greatness and the unity to Europe and France as a Nation.

‘English bloodstock is inherited from European bloodstock. So at the same time that He unites England to Wales, Scotland and Ireland. He also seeks to unite and RE-ATTACHES England, with its Celtic and Godly unity RESIDING WITHIN IT to the European stock. “Behold…I do a new thing…”.

‘When Jesus said in Luke “Go ye unto all nations”, I believe He was saying go unto all ethnic groups. The Celts can be seen as an ethnic group and so, too, can the Anglo-Saxons … Acts 17:26 ‘And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation’; Gen 28:3 ‘May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples’.

‘I believe this unity, is also necessary in the geopolitical quandary we now face with the Scottish move for separate rule.

‘Today in hindsight … he purposes to make UK Great again, separating from Europe, and within, He seeks to make this nation United and One, the Kingdom United.

‘His purpose for Britain is not to serve under Europe’s king Baal, but rather to take Britain’s King, King Jesus Christ, to Europe, not to serve a foreign God at Brussels but to join Europe to Himself.’

Thursday 23rd June 2016 – Independence Day for Britain, was very busy with email and blogs. Based on that information I decided to really stick my neck out with a prophetic declaration about a ‘New Day’ BUT then our internet/ phone line got dug up, flooded out and cut off!!

As suspected the previous day, there seemed to be some opposition from gremlins – the next day it came out into the open! Thursday16th a hole was dug in the pavement for an engineer to access location of the phone line’s fault the next day, but he found problems and needed another hole digging at the other side of our two-car driveway to make a fresh connection from the house to the street’s main-line.

But on Tuesday contractors arrived and back-filled and asphalted that first hole. The engineers had been able to advance their new work a fortnight because three weeks had elapsed without our having any phones. So those contractors returned on midday Thursday to re-open the hole that had been re-filled, and dig another new one!

Nina had been delayed by two lots of severe road works whilst out and so we voted after lunch between showers. I went back online to blog the most important posts of that voting day BUT found the internet had crashed!! I went to find out what the guys had done and found the re-opened two and half feet deep hole half filled with rain water and almost drowning the telecoms 15″ joint-box!!

But I was determined to go ‘out on a limb’ and push to get a declaration published. Fortunately I have web-guest access at the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation half a mile away. So, thankfully I could complete the previous two posts on the exposure of economic lies against Brexit and New Day of Independence from the EU.

Next Day – a few hours after voting results were announced – the engineer team returned to complete the work and by lunch-time we had a properly working phone and internet line at normal speed. Thank you Lord. (Apparently a normal access pit cannot be installed because the power and gas mains are too close.)

Prayers & Prophecy

Voting day’s first blog mentioned my remark about Britain’s guardian angel at the previous evening’s prayer meeting. Apparently, this fired up the convener Caroline to pray whilst driving home and upon arrival was greeted by a huge confirmatory clap of thunder -confirmation! I emailed,

‘Whilst we stood in a rough circle I kept getting the impression of a huge outline of Britain hazily hovering a foot or so off the floor between us. It was as though we were standing as giants all around and looking down on Britain with backs turned towards Europe and Scandinavia (I didn’t share this as we were visitors and I didn’t know if it would be appreciated)
I was positioned by the ‘Isle of Wight’ and, after Neil read about Jesus telling Satan to get behind him, I was moved to declare that S in Europe get behind and away from Britain.

Also, I saw a huge Rock tear through the ‘map’ and emerge over a larger area (ie North Downs to Scottish borders) than when I saw a similar spiritual rock emerging 12 years ago (https://richards-watch.org/2011/08/18/comments-on-sharon-stone-collapse-of-society/ refers)’

I received an email  from another leader saying on Tuesday they felt the Lord powerfully upon them and sensed Him saying, “Thursday would be a NEW DAY for Great Britain”. As I’d woken up with that in mind too, this encouraged me to stick my neck out and use it in a post’s title.

Also, I had news from Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival that some of their people had been hearing similarly: eg. that one had kept getting the outcome had already been declared in heaven!

Thank and praise you Lord that it is now manifest…

PS. It was an hour or so later that I became aware of this morning’s Telegraph headline, ‘Birth of a new Britain’!!

A New Day – UK’s Independence Day

We dare to hope and pray for a surprising turnaround within all people across our British society.

For everyone without exception to be encouraged and enthused to want us to become a revived new nation – and to seek and take hold of the vision the Living Holy God has for us all. A future free from invisible shackles of enslavement to that wants to return nations to the imaginary ‘ideal’ of Babel’s ‘one people, one tongue’ – even to the Days of Noah!

Although not a fan of Boris Johnson here’s some notably inspirational oratory:

Are we to bow down to Brussels? Adrian Hilton sums up the situation in the latter part of today’s blog Vote Leave: Take Control. Believe in Britain, or Bow Down to Brussels.:

‘…This Referendum is not only about Christian values, but about national identity. Are we really so feeble that our aspiration to wholeness may be apprehended only in the anti-democratic space? Are we really so fooled that our language of community may only be expressed in terms of political union? Are we really so blind that our morality may only be conceived in the secular Enlightenment conception of man, with his inviolable rights and perfect moral standards? Today is a watershed: Remain, and we perpetuate the self-congratulatory illusion of the abolition of nationalism and the death of God; Leave, and we move beyond myopic Euro-nationalism, spreading our vision upward, downward and outward into the world. There will be upheaval, but nothing that a new mode of thought and sensibility to new nations cannot withstand. Some say this is retrospective illusion: it is, rather, the true globalism of the catholic Christian.

‘If the Christian ends of peace and reconciliation are to be realised in and by the United Kingdom, our moral outlook must change. The Enlightenment European Union is not the Promised Land, for EUtopia erodes the cosmic order, denies self-determination, keeps the poor in famine and inflicts suffering on its own people. If we seek universal benevolence and justice, they are not found in haughty declarations of subjective rights of immunities and benefits, but in an apprehension of divine dignity; of man created in the image of God for a life of grace, love and service. This is not monkish ignorance or superstition: it is, whether we believe it or not, the truth. You may demand tyrannical impositions of trans-national equality, but God’s blessings flow only from humility; security comes only from self-government; and peace comes only from Christ, with whom believers are exhorted to walk in spirit and truth.

‘This isn’t a game of point scoring: it is about the moral culture of our civilisation. There is a prideful illusion of a Godless European Empire with its unaccountable omnipotence and infallible dreams of universal justice, equality and rights; or there is the subtler language of the nation under God, within which the unrighteous may be removed and the immoral corrected, rebuked, reformed and restored. Another piece of The Invisible Jigsaw is put into placeI hit the desk straight after breakfast only to be hit in turn by a message from Hamilton, in scenic Montana!  I’d intended kicking-off my blog-day after checking email, by finding a map of the UK for blogging about what Nina and I had just been praying.

LO and BEHOLD, I find my cyber-friend Tim Shey, out on The Road hitch-hiking western USA, has copied my previous post for his blog AND inserted a map of the British Isles! JUST the job!  So yet another piece is put into the invisible jigsaw – thank and praise you Lord. And thank you Tim!

Symbolic of Holy Spirit's active power across the AtlanticNow it’s not just that he’s an anglophile who’s enthusiastic about our Christian history and legacy but, moreover, it’s also another fine example of the Holy Spirit’s ‘bridge over the Pond’.

Ever since the Olympic Games were held here in 2012 Nina and I starting most days by using the blessing prayers for all the towns and cities listed in Keep Praying and Bless. (This link is to original version, which may take a minute to load because of video – click here for version adapted for praying around any neighbourhood.) In addition to the day’s specific location our hometown and nearby villages and church leaders are included.

The original purpose was to pray, bless and make declarations along the 70-days route of the Olympic Torch and thereby counteract its pagan influence. A Praise Bus preceded the official torch relay by about an hour’s time, as told in our personal account here.

In recent years we’ve also used an A5-size map with ordinary geographical features on one side and, on its reverse, the main routes across the UK. (I didn’t scan it because it’s now  well-used.)  I’ve found this a useful aid, especially when saying the Prayer of Protection, which I’ve modified slightly as follows:

‘Almighty Father, we come to You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, and in that mighty Name we break the power of every strategy and assignment sent against the British Isles and Ireland (and against ….) We pray the mighty covering of the Living Blood of Jesus Christ over our villages, towns and cities; over our coastlands, seaports and airports; over our roadways, railways and waterways and traffic thereon – as well as over ourselves and….

‘We ask that You release the angelic host to protect us from every spiritual and terrorist attack – especially our landmarks and each member of the royal family person and their premises and in public.

‘Lift each citizen above every circumstance and crisis. We affirm the finished work of Christ over all demonic forces and decree: no weapon formed against the plans and purposes for the British Isles and Ireland will prosper. We also decree: no longer will violence be heard in our land, or destruction within or at our borders. We bless the atmosphere to be charged with peace and order. Amen’  (Isaiah 54:17 & 60:18)

I was to find that Tuesday’s blessing was right for what was to follow that evening. It was for Oxford (and our locality) and I its decree reads: ‘I AM The Lord Sitting On my Throne’ (Rev 3:15).

So we declared, “Our God rules and reigns over these nations and it is He who is far above all things – all rule and authority,power and dominion and every title that can be given.

Next I said the regular Prayer of Blessing and Aaronic prayer followed by this specific one: “We bless you British Isles and Ireland to know that all things are under the Feet of Jesus”.

Evening’s Meeting

My circulating an intercession email a few weeks ago met a response from a friend not seen for a couple of years. Jonathan suggested we meet up with others to pray regarding the Referendum. Dates were difficult and almost fell by the wayside, but I managed to go to his house on Tuesday.

What an immense surprise to discover that he’s deeply involved in the Leave campaign and says many Christians are supportive. I was amazed to learn of his prolific Facebook page Why leave the EU? covering the media. Yet it’s not at all surprising because I know he’s scrupulous in ferreting out facts and keen on details. His aim is:

  • to provide accurate reasons for leaving the EU, enable discussion of the issues, and answer any questions and the arguments for remaining

Although not a subscriber, my friend’s aware of my blog and personal stance and so one of our longer prayers was for the Lord to expose the full facts and activities hidden from public view. (See last Thursday’s Is the Lord exposing rotten politics? UK, USA – next EU?)

The next day, Jonathan re-posts a new article on just that, with a covering “Haha. The lies are being exposed!” > Huge blow to Remain camp as Cameron admits – “We don’t need the EU to protect worker’s rights”.

We’ll consider my friend’s summary document next…

UK/EU in/out #8: EU’s Tusk tacitly admits ‘Brexit Boris’ correct on EU’s aims

Has Europe’s political ‘bubble’ burst?  At least it’s got to a tipping point. An unexpected confession from Donald Tusk, the first East European president of the European Council, may indicate things are about to change. Here’s what happened:

A mini-storm erupted on 15th May as a result of the Sunday Telegraph’s Boris Johnson: The EU wants a superstate, just as Hitler did. Their senior political correspondent Tim Ross’ opening gambit of this interview reads:

‘The European Union is pursuing a similar goal to Hitler in trying to create a powerful superstate, Boris Johnson says. In a dramatic interview with the Telegraph, he warns that while bureaucrats in Brussels are using “different methods” from the Nazi dictator, they share the aim of unifying Europe under one “authority”. 

‘But the EU’s “disastrous” failures have fuelled tensions between member states and allowed Germany to grow in power, “take over” the Italian economy and “destroy” Greece, he warns…’

Ross refers to this former mayor of London being a keen classical scholar. Boris argues that the past 2,000 years of European history were characterised by repeated attempts to unify Europe under a single government in order to recover the continent’s lost “golden age” under the Romans.:

“Napoleon, Hitler, various people tried this out, and it ends tragically,” he says. “The EU is an attempt to do this by different methods.  But fundamentally what is lacking is the eternal problem, which is that there is no underlying loyalty to the idea of Europe. There is no single authority that anybody respects or understands. That is causing this massive democratic void.”

As a consequence of mentioning Hitler and the EU in the same breath, ‘Brexiteer Boris’ was pilloried by party and press – but not Joe Public!

However, Boris Johnson has since been vindicated by no less a person than the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk!

It is clear from his lambasting of EU officials that, without explicitly stating Boris’ opinion is valid, the EU chief responsible for developing the Union’s objectives and priorities does agree with the British leader’s understanding of its ultimate goal of unification and methodology in achieving it!

In other words, the EU really DOES want a superstate of totally utopian integration.

This is as plain as a pikestaff : Tusk’s blunt warning to EU leaders that their “utopian” illusions are tearing Europe apart…(forcing) through yet more integration would be a grave mistake…EU elite are living in a fool’s paradise… “Obsessed with the idea of instant and total integration”. Also vindicated are all those who noticed decades ago that that’s where Europe was heading. This includes not only those in the secular world but also Christians familiar with Bible prophecies. A number of theologians and teachers, principally American, were led to conclude that Nebuchadnezzar’s’ vision of a statue and prophet Daniel’s shocking one of the Fourth Beast (chapters 2 & 7 of Book of Daniel), as well as the Book of Revelation, prophesy a revived Roman Empire. Hence, theologians became very suspicious of the 20th Century European project.

One modern investigator discovered that the EU’s Recommendation 666 may relate to the prophesied anti-christ, in view of its establishing a special office: High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, for which Frederica Mogherini is the incumbent. Her predecessor, Baroness Ashton, was involved with framing the infamous Iranian Nuclear Deal. (For more see items 1 – 3 below.)

INTEGRATION INSIGHT FROM FRANCE

Telegraph’s deputy editor Allister Heath, grew up in France and writes of what was taught “openly and explicitly” at school there: ‘the EU was the obvious, rational future, the only way war could be avoided and the best way to protect our social models from the ravages of “Anglo-Saxon” markets.’ (!!)

‘It was made consistently clear that the EU was a political project that used economics as a tool of state-building; the single market was created because all countries have a free internal market, not because the EU’s founding fathers believed in international free trade.’

‘There are two possibilities if we vote to stay: eventual abrupt disintegration, or further EU integration…(detailed explanation of consequences)…Voting to Remain would thus be a geopolitical disaster for the UK, a historical failure.’

Even more telling is this well-informed comment:

‘The EU was always intended by its founders to be a process (4 below)– a mechanism by which formerly independent European countries gradually bind themselves together into an ever-closer union. Crises were seen as useful flashpoints that would trigger a further push to integration, and its central institutions were deliberately designed to seek and accrue power.‘ (Emphases added)

Read Allister Heath’s full article: There is no safety inside the arrogant, imperial, and dangerously unstable EU and note his conclusion:

‘It’s self-evidently normal to be independent and prosperous: just look at America, Australia, Canada or Singapore. But there are no known examples of a previously independent democracy being subsumed into a dysfunctional, economically troubled technocracy and doing well as a result. As mad gambles go, it is hard to think of anything worse.’

A PROPHETIC INSIGHT?

Just pause a moment with me and reflect. A week ago today I had a hunch about the Lord exposing something major and rotten in the EU, as told here.  I supposed this may relate to another crash of its shaky financial system.

But the Lord did better than I dared hope: a frank admission was to come from the very top of the EU about its anti-democratic nature!. Praise You Lord.

AND in answer to this prayer, blind eyes are opening!

Whilst busy today, especially over faulty phone line(!), have just caught up with this from Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, international business editor of the Telegraph, under Business section headline Dreamers ‘are tearing EU apart’.:

‘European Council president Donald Tusk has warned EU leaders in the bluntest terms that their “utopian” illusions are tearing Europe apart, and that any attempt to seize on Brexit to force through yet more integration would be a grave mistake.

‘In a passionate plea to Europe’s top conservatives, he accused the EU elites of living in a fool’s paradise and provoking the eurosceptic revolt now erupting in a string of countries.

“It is us who today are responsible,” he said, speaking at a conclave of Christian-Democrat and centre-right leaders in Luxembourg. “Obsessed with the idea of instant and total integration, we failed to notice that ordinary people, the citizens of Europe, do not share our Euro-enthusiasm….” [emphases added – continue reading via above link]

NB: ‘Mr Tusk, alert to the patriotic revival in his native Poland, lambasted the EU establishment for pushing “a utopia of Europe without nation states” that goes against the grain of European history and has produced a deep cultural backlash that cannot be dismissed as illegitimate far-right populism…’

So, Fraser Nelson’s opinion was ‘right on the money’!! (see previous post).

UK/EU in/out #7: ‘Cat’s out of the bag!’ press editorial

EU: EXPOSED! (Thursday’s prayer request refers)

‘The cat is out of the bag: the EU bureaucrats have let it be known that they do not approve of member states picking political leaders they disagree with or who contradict their elitist world view.’

Thus opens Friday’s Telegraph View: EU bureaucrats cannot cope with democracy. The grounds for that editorial are not only offensively scurrilous but also grossly insulting remarks against one of our national leaders – AND against the intelligence of the British voter. This is much worse than Obama’s interfering in our affairs during his last state visit. Furthermore, it fully vindicates the deep misgivings of those Christians who are unhappy with the EU’s unholy nature.

This hardly surprising revelation direct from the hearts and minds of tyrants themselves is itself sufficient reason for Britons to want our independence back.

The following quotations from Friday’s editorial and the op-ed by columnist Fraser Nelson, editor of The Spectator, should ‘put my readers in the picture’ (use the links to read their opinions in full).:

DT editorial continues from above: ‘Speaking at yesterday’s session of the G7, Jean-Claude Juncker attacked Boris Johnson, suggesting that his Euroscepticism was not “in line with reality”. Martin Selmayr, Mr Juncker’s chief of staff, went one step further with a tweet that was truly beyond the pale:

“G7 2017 with Trump, Le Pen, Boris Johnson, Beppe Grillo? [American, French, British and Italian] A horror scenario that shows well why it is worth fighting populism.”

Fluffy-headed Boris twice served consecutive terms as popular Mayor of London and is a possible future leader of the Conservative party. So the editorial points out, ‘Mr Johnson’s accusers are bureaucrats who are clearly deeply uncomfortable with a true democrat – especially one who has such an unusual rapport with the public. [There are issues I’ve objected to on grounds of faith – RB.]

‘Mr Selmayr’s demand that “populism” be combated also betrays the EU’s instinctive distrust of democracy. Its founders were desperate to construct a supranational institution that would ensure that the people are always governed by their betters. As such the EU is inherently anti-democratic: demonstrated by its treatment of Greece and an approach to referendums best summed up as “you can vote as many times as you like, so long as you eventually vote for what we want”…’

‘The irony is that men such as Mr Juncker and Mr Selmayr do not realise how much they are encouraging the decline of their own EU project. Voters do not like being told that they can or cannot vote for someone just because an unelected foreign bureaucrat fears for the consequences.’ (emphasis added).

DT’s man at the G7 reports Tory MP and founder of Vote Leave, Steve Baker’s reaction to that tweet was, “This is a doubly outrageous intervention. First, unelected officials have no right to interfere in democratic processes. Second, they are flat wrong. Boris is an affable, liberal conservative. There is no comparison between his views and those of the extreme populists of the national right”.

EU: CENTRE OF MALIGN ORTHODOXY

Fraser_Nelson-smallFraser Nelson opens his op-ed by explaining that (giving his German style ‘Professor Dr’), ‘Martin Selmayr is one of the most powerful men you’ve never heard of. He is chief fixer for Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission; we have him to thank, at least in part, for the woeful ‘“deal” that David Cameron was given in his renegotiation…

‘Behold, the great battle of our times: the bureaucrats of Brussels, unsullied by the need to win votes, ready to take on the democratic process and any leaders that it might catapult to power.’

Fraser then tells of the remarkable successes by popular parties in a number of countries: Austria, Italy, Sweden, Holland (‘How did the party of Gert Wilders, once banned from entering Britain, end up most popular in the Netherlands?’) Finland, Poland.

In country after country the answer tends to be the same – globalisation, immigration, economic disadvantage, unemployment. Therefore, ‘increasingly the new populists see the EU as the centre of this malign orthodoxy and call for looser ties with it’.

He concludes, ‘A spectre is once again haunting Europe, but it’s not that of populism. It’s the intransigence of established political parties who prefer to denounce populists rather than seek to understand what motivates their supporters. And the EU, which set out in hope of uniting the continent, has become a source of instability – sticking to an outdated script at a time of unprecedented demographic and economic change…’ [Europe’s voters are – leaders should listen to them, not sneer.]

NB: Fraser’s remark about “the great battle of our times” resonates well with a prophetic word privately circulating among intercessors praying for David and Samantha Cameron and whatever outcome the EU Referendum brings.

EU: “100 TIMES WORSE THAN COMMUNISM” – Ukraine pastor

Finally, evangelist David Hathaway’s extensive connections to Eastern Europe enable him to report recently,

“When I said to the European head of the Pentecostal church in Kiev that the EU is worse than communism he replied that – after years living under communism and now negotiating in Brussels – the EU is ONE HUNDRED TIMES WORSE THAN COMMUNISM.” [Iron Does Not Mix With Clay, Prophetic Vision #80, 2016]

Conclusion

Is the Lord pointing something out through last week’s triple ‘coincidences’?  If so, then we must start to pay close attention to what’s about to happen.

Is the Lord exposing rotten politics? UK, USA…EU??

A quick thought dropped into mind whilst out for a short walk this morning. I wanted to blog it upon return 5 hours ago but first needed to finish circulating an intercessory request to various groups – BUT then I got hit by inordinate difficulties using my email. There were conflicts between my email client and ISP’s server data and even resetting didn’t solve it; then it kept refusing to send because of ‘Too many addressees’!!  As my blogging day’s been halved maybe our enemy’s getting rattled? So here goes:

In re-posting a prophetic word on this month’s ‘Domino Effect’ I speculated that there may be more than one trail of ‘prophetical promises’ Patsy Southway saw, and where it has a counterpart elsewhere. To recap:

‘I cannot but think one of those domino-trails is in the secular world in view of recent, unexpected exposures of political activities. Eg., of anti-Semitism in the Labour party and its leader’s concessionary Mayday speech; of David Cameron’s ‘gaffe’ to the Queen and Archbishop about ‘fantastic’ corruption in Nigeria (read its president’s reaction here); President Obama’s unwelcome interference in the UK/EU Referendum and now his aide Ben Rhodes’ outrageous boasting about their manipulating media lackies with fiction and duplicity over the Iran nuclear deal. For the reasons behind this expose read here. (White House Christian correspondent Bill Koenig often refers to incompetence and lack of required experience and skills of Potus’ aides.) 

NB: The admittance to secret contact with Iran as early as 2011 is incorrect – TWO years too late! It started very early in Obama’s first term and prior to his infamous Cairo speech, as I wrote 7 years ago (18 May 2009) in Today’s Importance in History: 

‘this [diplomatic storm] involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! (It’s reported Obama wanted to be able to use Iran’s territory for supplying US troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan.) Also, there’s been dismay in Cairo and Riyadh over his courting the terrorist mentors in Teheran.’  [per DebkaFile intelligence reports].’

The American issue has since developed: The White House refuses to let Rhodes testify  (Fox News 17 May). Yesterday Reuters reports on the Hilary Clinton’s illegal activities, Clinton email server broke government rules.  HA! LOL!  Maybe that’s why mine was giving me such serious bother this morning 🙂

Also today, the Telegraph Tax Investigation into Trump was published; ie. a report on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s US tax avoidance activities.

All that’s probably nothing compared with the EU, which hasn’t been able to publish any certified accounts for donkey’s years!!

Wouldn’t now be a good time for all the rotten dirty laundry of crumbling EU finances to be exposed in full glare of continent-wide publicity? Maybe it would make messrs Cameron & Osborne do a volte-face, an abrupt U-turn, over the EU…?

EU Referendum – an update

A quick note to say this blog’s hub EU In God’s Face has been updated to include an informative guide by Dave Chapman – There Is An Alternative.

This paper provides an introductory background to the European trading, political and financial union, its history and proposed development, as well as the UK’s involvement. The outline of differences between UK and European legal systems are personally helpful in view of last year’s posts on the 8th Centennial of the Magna Carta.

As well as providing links to earlier posts on the EU Referendum the hub also has some to a few interesting opinions. For example, author Frederick Forsyth speaks of “Government by Deception” and quotes a possibly questionable summation of ‘Father of Europe’ Jean Monnet’s intention as:

“Europe’s nations should be guided towards the super state, without their people understanding what is happening. This can be accomplished by successive steps, each disguised as having an economic purpose, but which will eventually and irreversibly lead to Federation.”

Blogger ‘Archbishop Cranmer’ concludes his piece on former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey’s opinion of Brexit as being “The Refrain of Freedom” with:

“The European Union is an anti-democratic, centralised, unreformable, oligarchic bureaucratic beast bent on total domination. It is prepared to lose souls to save face. The people of God yearn for a better way, another treaty, a different mission of national discovery and self-confidence. We can meet together, network, dialogue, support and befriend our European neighbours as we boldly bear witness as followers of Christ. Or we can be absorbed, monitored, re-educated, relativised, patronised and ignored as the Euro-Beast marches on to ever closer union and democratic damnation. That is the choice we face. Thank God that Lord Carey sounds a clear note against the injustice, humiliation, pain and bitter resentment of remaining in a Godless sodality of gnashing teeth.”

Awkward internet trouble struck last Sunday afternoon!

However, resolution on Monday brought some unusual insights on America’s highly controversial presidential candidate!

Even more weirdly, whilst writing I’m struck that this post covers a ‘triple-strike’ on one particular day this month: see if you can spot it as you read. Ask yourself, “Does it confirm the previous post’s prophetic word, ‘Month of May – Domino Effect’ ?”

We couldn’t get live-streaming of Sunday morning’s service at Church of His Presence. Occasionally, there are intermittent dropouts but a simultaneously broadcast chat-room keeps e-members and ‘techies’ in touch and so we know what’s happening. But this time it was most unusual not to get any streaming connection at all in over half an hour. Then I saw their administrator’s note about the server having crashed.

I quipped to Nina, “Maybe they’re having a terrific time and the electrics are affected”.

A few years ago we heard Mahesh Chavda talk about when the powerful presence of the Lord blew stage-lighting and set off internal alarms, to which a fire brigade responded and arrived at the church meeting – but there wasn’t any fire, of the ordinary kind, that is.

Was something similar happening far beyond the other side of ‘the Pond’?? It was!!

Holy Spirit’s Presence

On Monday we caught up with the archived video and saw everyone was still affected by the evening celebration on Friday 7th May – Holy Spirit’s presence was clearly evident during Sunday’s worship.

Pastor John Kilpatrick immediately spoke about Friday evening’s celebration and referred to the Glory having fallen during the Brownsville Revival. John interviewed some who’d been there on their reactions.  Of last Friday he admitted to having struggled to preach; because it was on God’s Glory. His message had been held over from an earlier Friday, when he’d been completely unable to speak because he’d been under the ‘chabod’ or heavy weight of God’s glory – ‘slain in the Spirit’ – for several hours!

So, Sunday morning in Alabama continued in the same Revival atmosphere and one hour one minute into the service John said,

“You know I believe what’s going on right now in the political world, somehow I believe the Lord’s right behind it!

“Here’s what I really believe and I want you to know I’m not saying (vote) democrat or a republican – understand? Listen to me: something’s going on in the political sphere!

“And something’s going on in grass-roots America and grass-roots America’s rising up and saying “We’re SICK of the political correctness. We’re SICK of our nation going down the drain. We’re SICK of decisions that’s being made that’s deteriorating America”, and the grass-roots are rising up and they’re possibly voting for somebody that makes Americans real nervous.

“And I’m not saying I’m a Trump supporter – because I’m not!…(and I’m not anyone’s supporter)…BUT I am a supporter of Revival and I’m believing God for Revival to SHOW UP in America and to SWEEP this country – from the White House to the school-house to the corn house!!…[great excitement across congregation].

“Here’s what I believe is happening: I believe God’s shaking America back – I believe that we’ve been asleep. We’ve been in a coma but the Holy Ghost’s been slapping us [John slaps himself on both cheeks] with His Primaries and America’s waking up – “Huh? What he’d say?” – “What’d she say?”- “OMG what’s going on!” – “I’ve never seen nothing like this before!”

“And the Holy Spirit says, “Buckle your seat-belt; you ain’t never seen nothing like you’re about to see!!”

“I believe that God somehow is going to translate what’s going on in the political world and bring it over into the spiritual world – it’s time for spiritual correctness!

“Let God be God; I said ‘Let God be God’. Let God MOVE and let His power SWEEP this nation like it did many years ago!”….

Spirit-filled rejoicing and great excitement followed with lengthy ministry under the Glory – very definitely a church of HIS Presence!

Shake, Rattle and Roll…

John’s immense excitement as Holy Spirit sparked him into hopping and skipping whilst he moved into prophecy reminded me of an unusual word I’d read over the weekend from Australia’s Lana Vasser. Perhaps he was confirming the gist of what she received, as here:

LanaVawser‘…I have no political agenda, I am not attempting to ‘push’ anything, I am simply releasing something that I feel the Lord gave me. Recently, the Lord surprised me as I heard Him singing and I heard him singing concerning Trump. I heard the Lord singing in the same melody to the old song by Billy Haley and The Comets, “Shake, Rattle and Roll”. Yet as I heard the melody, I heard the Lord singing:

“I am using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll. I’m using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll… I’m using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll”(!)”

WHAT! WHY?  To grasp this rather alarming revelation read Lana’s blog I Heard the Lord Singing Regarding Donald Trump, published last Friday 7th May .

I doubt John would have opportunity for that to have come to his attention on the other side of the world – especially as he was involved in that evening’s celebration with Lindell Cooley, and preparing to speak on Mysteries of the Glory and then come under its after-effects!!

Trump and Israel

The next day, Tuesday, I had opportunity to follow-up a headline on William Koenig’s news service World Watch Daily as a matter of particular interest to students of Bible prophecy. This was from an article in The Jerusalem Post published on Friday 7th May – Politics: On Trump’s Side (by Gill Stern Stern Hoffman).

It covers the work of British-born public relations innovator Jonny Daniels, director of the Holocaust commemoration organization From The Depths, and may be the Israeli who’s closest to Donald Trump. Daniels is quoted as saying of Trump on Israel,

“He is someone who understands our traditions, Just like Obama grew up in traditional Muslim settings, Trump has gained an appreciation of traditional Judaism.”

In 2013 Trump released a video of his deep respect for Israel’s PM Netanyahu and so you may like to read Hoffman’s article in full via the above link to print-copy. (The JP website is slow to load because of a long script and excessive advertising.)  Here are some extracts for your information:

“The Donald Trump I know is thoughtful, strong-willed and an incredibly smart person,” Daniels said. “He reads people and situations and, most importantly, doesn’t give up. He will fight for Israel and – just as important for Israel – fight for the USA. A strong America is a strong Israel. Over the past eight years, there has been a massive decrease in American strength, and as the US’s great ally that has been a significant problem for us.”
“It is very good news for Israel that he will be the Republican candidate for president, because we really do have a good friend in Donald Trump,” Daniels said. “I’m not sure people realize who he is beyond his media persona. He is a politician playing politics, and there are certain things you do and say for votes, and if it’s inflammatory so be it. Netanyahu and Obama have also reached out to their voter base, and that’s what Trump has been doing.”
“He is smart enough to understand that a peace deal wouldn’t be brokered over night,” Daniels said. “When we look at his true understanding of the concerns facing Israel, we have to see it promisingly. He was vehemently against the Iran deal before he thought he would be running for president.”

My reader, did you spot the triple date references in the above three sections?  Friday 7th May.  Hmmm most intriguing….

Maybe the Lord is underscoring that material? Maybe pastor Kilpatrick’s prognostication is accurate? How say you?

Finally, today Israel Hayom publishes an interview with Trump, Israel Is the US’ Bastion of Hope,  wherein he states, “We are going to protect Israel. We will make sure it is in good shape forever”.  I’ll leave you to read his opinion on the incumbent president’s actions to jeopardize an ally by dealing with Iran.

Patsy Southway: this month’s ‘domino effect’

MONTH OF MAY – THE DOMINO EFFECT

Patsy SouthwayA couple of weeks ago I was sharing with a few close friends about an open vision I had received from the Lord. In the vision I saw a long wavy line of dominos. Several, of which, were different colours; with their usual number of dots on them. I sensed that each domino had been strategically placed in preparation for the momentum that occurs when the first one is touched.

Then God said to me that during the month of May many will see the beginning of a ‘domino effect’ in their lives. As God’s finger touches the very first domino; the rippling effect will be breath-taking!

I could see immense JOY exploding as long awaited promises and prophetic words that had been spoken, were suddenly, (it seemed suddenly but God has been behind the scenes working all the while) manifesting and bringing to birth the fulfillments that had been longed for.

I sensed too that for some the hope of ever seeing these promises come to pass had almost died as they had become weary in the waiting and had forgotten that God, our God, is a faithful God and ALL his promises are ‘yes and amen!’

For some, this will also be a time to see the beginning of an ENLARGEMENT! Those that have had to stand firm and entered into a LIFESTYLE of what I call ‘Heart Alignment’ (John 5:19) will no longer take any nonsense from the Father of Lies over their own lives, the lives of their families, Churches/Gatherings, their towns, cities and nations! A Holy boldness will be evident in these ones which will cause a stirring, a hunger even, resulting in great exploits to see Jesus glorified all over the world.

I also saw the ENLARGEMENT of territory, of land, and increase in all areas connected with the wealth of God’s Kingdom. As the finger of God touches the first domino we will hear the click click click of the rippling effect throughout the nations!

Footnote: – I (Richard) cannot but think one of those domino-trails is in the secular world in view of recent, unexpected exposures of political activities. Eg., of anti-Semitism in the Labour party and its leader’s concessionary Mayday speech; of David Cameron’s ‘gaffe’ to the Queen and Archbishop about ‘fantastic’ corruption in Nigeria (read President’s reaction here); President Obama’s unwelcome interference in the UK/EU Referendum and now his aide Ben Rhodes’ outrageous boasting about their manipulating media lackies with fiction and duplicity over the Iran nuclear deal. For the reasons behind this expose read here. (White House Christian correspondent Bill Koenig often refers to incompetence and lack of required experience and skills of Potus’ aides.) 

NB: The admittance to secret contact with Iran as early as 2011 is incorrect – TWO years too late! It started very early in Obama’s first term and prior to his infamous Cairo speech, as I wrote 7 years ago (18 May 2009) in Today’s Importance in History: 

‘this [diplomatic storm] involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! (It’s reported Obama wanted to be able to use Iran’s territory for supplying US troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan.) Also, there’s been dismay in Cairo and Riyadh over his courting the terrorist mentors in Teheran.’  [per DebkaFile intelligence reports – emphases added].

UK/EU in/out #4: prophetic warning urges “come out!”

To continue in the prophetical vein from the latter half of #3 In the Face of God, the timing of this seems apropos to today’s headlines. (My intention for this mini-series on the EU and referendum of our membership is to present a ‘prophetical sandwich’ of spiritual food for thought stuffed between two ‘doughy’ slices of politico-historical, legal data.)

We learn PM Cameron has ‘lost the plot’ by saying that Brexit could lead of war because of  secession/independence from the EU. (Timed for today’s celebration of Europe Day marking the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration of 9th May 1950). He would be wiser were he to seek, hear and heed the Living Lord’s opinion on the EU’s future.

Readers who followed the link in this series’ #1 post may have already read the following from a Bible teacher whom we’ve known for years (and who gave Nina an accurate word a few months before our marriage). The following prophetic word is posted with permission of Prophecy Today UK, with sub-heading linking to the original.:

DAVID NOAKES’ PROPHECY

This prophetic word was delivered during a meeting with a group of ministry leaders on 17th November last year.:

“Nation of Britain, I have loved you with a love which has not ceased, despite the state of apostasy and degradation into which you have fallen. My anger towards those church leaders who have taught false things in My Name, and encouraged others to believe and act as they do, is intense and My judgment upon them will be severe. Yet I have compassion upon those who have been like sheep without godly shepherds; and My heart still longs to exercise mercy upon a nation whose forefathers upheld My Name and took My Word to the ends of the earth; a nation whose belief in the truth of My Word framed godly laws and inspired a culture of uprightness.

“Rather than rely on Me and My faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied My Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of Me and its hardness of heart towards My ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore My hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

“Hear Me, O once godly nation and respond to My call, or you also will come to ruin in that same judgment of destruction. This is not My will for you, but you must choose the course which you will take. I urge you to respond to Me and choose life under My hand of discipline and protection, rather than death in the disaster which is even now coming upon Europe.”

UK/EU in/out #1: Referendum and Remnant’s opportunity

THE REFERENDUM: AN EXERCISE IN BULLYING by Dr Clifford Hill

The Government’s propaganda may put people off, or it may deceive them – just as the nation was deceived in the 1975 EU Referendum.

C Hill 163835British people dislike bullies. We have a strong sense of fair play and on big issues we like to weigh the evidence and make up our own minds. We are an island people and we value our independence. We do not like being bullied. This is why the huge pressure being put upon the electorate by the Government and their overseas friends, international leaders, big business corporations and bankers may prove to be counter-productive.

The Government promised to help the undecided by publishing the facts. Instead, they have spent £9 million on a blatant piece of propaganda trying to persuade us to stay in the European Union. The front page title of the booklet gives the game away. It says nothing about a presentation of the facts. Its title is “Why the Government believes that voting to remain in the European Union is the best decision for the UK”. It then states “The UK has secured a special status in the reformed EU”.

We should surely be entitled to ask, what ‘special status’? And in what way is the EU ‘reformed’? Are the British people once again being deceived by lies from powerful politicians – as we were 40 years ago?

More Deception?

What is happening today looks very similar to how we were tricked into entered the European Union. Ted Heath, the Prime Minister who did the original deal in 1973, readily admitted before he died that he had lied to Parliament and to the British people because he knew that we were not simply joining a trading group but that the intention was always to work towards the formation of a United States of Europe in which we would all lose our sovereign identity.1

This fact was deliberately kept hidden from the British public when we voted at the 1975 referendum on whether or not we should stay in the ‘European Economic Community’ (‘Common Market’) as it was then described. In those days it was largely a trading group with nine member states, whereas today the EU is a very different beast, with 28 members in a tightly regulated organisation bound by treaties, such as Maastricht and Lisbon, and controlled by an unelected Commission backed by an enormous bureaucracy, with institutions such as the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice exercising enormous power over our own parliament and legal courts.

When the Maastricht Treaty was being negotiated there were attempts by churches to get some reference to the Judaeo-Christian heritage of Europe but this was strongly resisted by secular humanists, who prevailed.2 The resultant European Union is not only deliberately a godless – in fact, God-denying – organisation, but it is also systemically corrupt, as demonstrated by the fact that it has not been able to persuade the auditors to endorse its accounts for at least the past five years.3 In this country, if a company were in that situation they would not only be prosecuted but they would not be allowed to continue in business.

Miracles in the Past

So how should Christians decide on such an important issue? We surely have to recognise the moral and spiritual battle for the soul of Britain that is involved in the present referendum debate. Christians need to know what God is saying to us, not least by looking at the recent history of Britain in a biblical context. This enables us to understand the purposes of God and what he requires of a nation with a strong Judaeo-Christian heritage such as Britain’s.

There are still many people in the older generation who remember that God worked a miracle at Dunkirk in 1940, saving our army from annihilation and giving us victory in the Battle of Britain in the skies. Even Churchill acknowledged in Parliament that it Dunkirk was a “miracle of deliverance”.4 Those were days when the whole nation turned to prayer.

It was also at a time of national prayer that Hitler took the irrational decision not to invade Britain. It is now recognised that if the German invasion had taken place in 1940 nothing could have stopped them conquering Britain. Dad’s Army would no doubt have fought valiantly but German Panzer tanks would have been rolling down Whitehall within days.

When a nation puts its destiny in the hands of God it can expect miracles to happen. It has happened in the past and it can happen again today – if there is a sufficiently strong believing remnant in the country.

Opportunity for the Remnant

Of course we know that as a nation we have spurned our spiritual heritage: we have passed many ungodly laws and we no longer deserve to be called a Christian nation. But there is undoubtedly a strong remnant of believers in the older generation and there are many indications of young people coming to faith in Jesus – possibly in reaction to the mess their unbelieving parents have made of the nation. It is the middle generation who are missing in many churches up and down the country today.

Believing Christians know that as a nation we deserve judgement but we also know the love and mercy of God who has given a solemn promise, “If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned” (Jer 18:7).

The Referendum debate is bringing believing Christians to prayer throughout the country. Many prayer meetings are organised for this weekend, St George’s Day, 23 April, and many more are planned between now and 23 June. These prayer meetings give us a chance to seek the Lord and know what he is saying to the nation so that we can pray in line with God’s will and vote accordingly.

Word on the EU, 2015

We have already nailed our colours to the mast in this magazine but we know many Christians who are still undecided. We respect their integrity and we therefore encourage them to join other Christians in prayer where they can spend time spreading the whole issue before the Lord who will surely answer in clarity.

Alongside this article we are printing a prophecy from David Noakes that has already been widely circulated. I was with him when he received this prophecy towards the end of last year. David and I have been close friends and colleagues since the early days of the old printed magazine, Prophecy Today.

We have shared a platform at hundreds of meetings over the years and I have heard him prophesy many times, but I have never heard him bring a word that is as directional as this. In publishing it today, please understand that we are not saying that this is a direct word from the Lord. We offer it in love and humility to our fellow believers for weighing and testing, and we offer it as part of the process of seeking the word of the Lord for Britain today.

EU Referendum Deception – 1975 and now!

The European Union is of serious concern for those interested in Bible prophecy. Some theologians and commentators consider it may be the disturbing beast OT prophet Daniel saw in a very vivid vision. He was told this “fourth beast shall be a kingdom different from all other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth” (see Daniel 7).

In 1973 the British people were tricked into entering membership of the European Union. The Prime Minister responsible for the original deal, Edward Heath (nicknamed ‘Heath the teeth’ for his smile), readily admitted before he died that he lied (through his teeth!) to Parliament and the people.

Heath knew the EU wasn’t just a trading partnership but that the UK would eventually lose its sovereign identity! The real intention behind The Treaty of Rome’s establishment of a West European trading union has always been to work towards forming a political and financial federation – a United States of Europe.

In reference to that, Revd Dr Clifford Hill writes in ProphecyTodayUK (re-posted here),

And that’s just one reason why I object in principle to the EU – the main one being that it’s a spiritual issue and one all Christians need to be well-aware of in deciding which way to vote in June’s referendum. BUT how many are?

Also, it’s not just that the EU’s accounts haven’t been able to be signed off for several years because of gross irregularities, corruption and contingency slush-funding! Or the never-ending interference with our laws and infringements upon our liberties (eg. free-speech and Christian belief) etc, etc, etc…

Mini-Series on UK/EU

Although not following the debate closely I’ve read several useful articles that are worth bringing to my reader’s attention. Had it not been such a busy month I’d have posted them separately but am now catching up by posting a series of scripturally-related and rhema-prophetical pieces for auto-publication over the next few days.

I trust this will not inundate you but that you’ll find the posts worth mulling over at leisure. This information will also be available for reference via a new hub on the main-menu.

Well-Informed Opinions

Last Monday I read perhaps the most perspicacious insight in Charles Moore: Notebook – Trade Deals Are Red Herrings in the EU Debate. Writing from the perspective of being one of the privileged upper-class of the ruling ‘elite’, he hints at behind-the-scenes motives which may reinforce New World Order conspiracy theories:

‘One of the most important features of the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy is that it allows voters to throw out one lot and put another in. This can never happen in the EU system. So the careers of the well-educated, unelected, “civilised” people who run the show are unimpeded by the will of the people. 

‘Perhaps because I come from that class, I agree that a high education is a good thing and accept that societies must have their elites, but I also believe that the British genius has been to create a political system in which the common interest of the whole nation can be represented politically. This is impossible in the EU, where there is a ruling class on the one hand, and a sweaty mob (as the ruling class sees it), on the other. If you like that sort of system, when you contemplate your navel, you will vote to Remain.’

Previous Telegraph editor Charles goes on to recommend “by far the best book setting out all European issues” Why Vote Leave? by Daniel Hannan.

Next, politico-religious blogger ‘Archbishop Cranmer’ notes in Owen Paterson: Cameron has “lost touch” with the Counties and will most likely lose his head.:

“The further you go from London, the stronger the feeling is,” said former Environment Secretary Owen Paterson, speaking of England’s deep strains of Euroscepticism. “I do get the slight sense it’s a bit like the Civil War when Charles I sadly completely lost touch with what was happening in the counties,” he added, casting David Cameron as the out-of-touch Prime Minister whose inescapable fate is to lose his head, if he hasn’t already done so. There is a battle going on for the soul of Europe, and the British government has turned its back on all true patriots and democrats, just like the English government of the 17th century didn’t lift a finger to help the Protestant cause. You can gag the pulpits from preaching predestination, but you can’t stop the people searching the scriptures.

‘Owen Paterson’s speech was intelligent and thoughtful. As Dr Eamonn Butler summarised for the Adam Smith Institute: “His basic point is that the EU is not the ‘status quo’ but something that is rapidly moving to destinations that are uncertain and dangerous, particularly for the UK; and that being outside is the safer, more stable option.” And in response to a question, we heard a summary exposition of the transcendent Euro-reality:

‘But this is not a Tory Party issue. This really is not a Tory Party issue. This is our one chance the first time since 1975 – and it divides people of all political parties. What we should be grateful to David Cameron for is that he’s given us the opportunity, and we must not blow it. That’s the point I’m making here. If we blow it, we will have this very unsatisfactory, very unclear, new ‘associate status’. We’ll be outvoted in the Parliament, we’ll be outvoted in the Council, and we’ll be under the cosh of the European Court. That is a highly unsatisfactory destination.
