UK/EU in/out #8: EU’s Tusk tacitly admits ‘Brexit Boris’ correct on EU’s aims

Has Europe’s political ‘bubble’ burst?  At least it’s got to a tipping point. An unexpected confession from Donald Tusk, the first East European president of the European Council, may indicate things are about to change. Here’s what happened:

A mini-storm erupted on 15th May as a result of the Sunday Telegraph’s Boris Johnson: The EU wants a superstate, just as Hitler did. Their senior political correspondent Tim Ross’ opening gambit of this interview reads:

‘The European Union is pursuing a similar goal to Hitler in trying to create a powerful superstate, Boris Johnson says. In a dramatic interview with the Telegraph, he warns that while bureaucrats in Brussels are using “different methods” from the Nazi dictator, they share the aim of unifying Europe under one “authority”. 

‘But the EU’s “disastrous” failures have fuelled tensions between member states and allowed Germany to grow in power, “take over” the Italian economy and “destroy” Greece, he warns…’

Ross refers to this former mayor of London being a keen classical scholar. Boris argues that the past 2,000 years of European history were characterised by repeated attempts to unify Europe under a single government in order to recover the continent’s lost “golden age” under the Romans.:

“Napoleon, Hitler, various people tried this out, and it ends tragically,” he says. “The EU is an attempt to do this by different methods.  But fundamentally what is lacking is the eternal problem, which is that there is no underlying loyalty to the idea of Europe. There is no single authority that anybody respects or understands. That is causing this massive democratic void.”

As a consequence of mentioning Hitler and the EU in the same breath, ‘Brexiteer Boris’ was pilloried by party and press – but not Joe Public!

However, Boris Johnson has since been vindicated by no less a person than the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk!

It is clear from his lambasting of EU officials that, without explicitly stating Boris’ opinion is valid, the EU chief responsible for developing the Union’s objectives and priorities does agree with the British leader’s understanding of its ultimate goal of unification and methodology in achieving it!

In other words, the EU really DOES want a superstate of totally utopian integration.

This is as plain as a pikestaff : Tusk’s blunt warning to EU leaders that their “utopian” illusions are tearing Europe apart…(forcing) through yet more integration would be a grave mistake…EU elite are living in a fool’s paradise… “Obsessed with the idea of instant and total integration”. Also vindicated are all those who noticed decades ago that that’s where Europe was heading. This includes not only those in the secular world but also Christians familiar with Bible prophecies. A number of theologians and teachers, principally American, were led to conclude that Nebuchadnezzar’s’ vision of a statue and prophet Daniel’s shocking one of the Fourth Beast (chapters 2 & 7 of Book of Daniel), as well as the Book of Revelation, prophesy a revived Roman Empire. Hence, theologians became very suspicious of the 20th Century European project.

One modern investigator discovered that the EU’s Recommendation 666 may relate to the prophesied anti-christ, in view of its establishing a special office: High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, for which Frederica Mogherini is the incumbent. Her predecessor, Baroness Ashton, was involved with framing the infamous Iranian Nuclear Deal. (For more see items 1 – 3 below.)

INTEGRATION INSIGHT FROM FRANCE

Telegraph’s deputy editor Allister Heath, grew up in France and writes of what was taught “openly and explicitly” at school there: ‘the EU was the obvious, rational future, the only way war could be avoided and the best way to protect our social models from the ravages of “Anglo-Saxon” markets.’ (!!)

‘It was made consistently clear that the EU was a political project that used economics as a tool of state-building; the single market was created because all countries have a free internal market, not because the EU’s founding fathers believed in international free trade.’

‘There are two possibilities if we vote to stay: eventual abrupt disintegration, or further EU integration…(detailed explanation of consequences)…Voting to Remain would thus be a geopolitical disaster for the UK, a historical failure.’

Even more telling is this well-informed comment:

‘The EU was always intended by its founders to be a process (4 below)– a mechanism by which formerly independent European countries gradually bind themselves together into an ever-closer union. Crises were seen as useful flashpoints that would trigger a further push to integration, and its central institutions were deliberately designed to seek and accrue power.‘ (Emphases added)

Read Allister Heath’s full article: There is no safety inside the arrogant, imperial, and dangerously unstable EU and note his conclusion:

‘It’s self-evidently normal to be independent and prosperous: just look at America, Australia, Canada or Singapore. But there are no known examples of a previously independent democracy being subsumed into a dysfunctional, economically troubled technocracy and doing well as a result. As mad gambles go, it is hard to think of anything worse.’

A PROPHETIC INSIGHT?

Just pause a moment with me and reflect. A week ago today I had a hunch about the Lord exposing something major and rotten in the EU, as told here.  I supposed this may relate to another crash of its shaky financial system.

But the Lord did better than I dared hope: a frank admission was to come from the very top of the EU about its anti-democratic nature!. Praise You Lord.

AND in answer to this prayer, blind eyes are opening!

EU: EXPOSED! (Thursday’s prayer request refers)

‘The cat is out of the bag: the EU bureaucrats have let it be known that they do not approve of member states picking political leaders they disagree with or who contradict their elitist world view.’

Thus opens Friday’s Telegraph View: EU bureaucrats cannot cope with democracy. The grounds for that editorial are not only offensively scurrilous but also grossly insulting remarks against one of our national leaders – AND against the intelligence of the British voter. This is much worse than Obama’s interfering in our affairs during his last state visit. Furthermore, it fully vindicates the deep misgivings of those Christians who are unhappy with the EU’s unholy nature.

This hardly surprising revelation direct from the hearts and minds of tyrants themselves is itself sufficient reason for Britons to want our independence back.

The following quotations from Friday’s editorial and the op-ed by columnist Fraser Nelson, editor of The Spectator, should ‘put my readers in the picture’ (use the links to read their opinions in full).:

DT editorial continues from above: ‘Speaking at yesterday’s session of the G7, Jean-Claude Juncker attacked Boris Johnson, suggesting that his Euroscepticism was not “in line with reality”. Martin Selmayr, Mr Juncker’s chief of staff, went one step further with a tweet that was truly beyond the pale:

“G7 2017 with Trump, Le Pen, Boris Johnson, Beppe Grillo? [American, French, British and Italian] A horror scenario that shows well why it is worth fighting populism.”

Fluffy-headed Boris twice served consecutive terms as popular Mayor of London and is a possible future leader of the Conservative party. So the editorial points out, ‘Mr Johnson’s accusers are bureaucrats who are clearly deeply uncomfortable with a true democrat – especially one who has such an unusual rapport with the public. [There are issues I’ve objected to on grounds of faith – RB.]

‘Mr Selmayr’s demand that “populism” be combated also betrays the EU’s instinctive distrust of democracy. Its founders were desperate to construct a supranational institution that would ensure that the people are always governed by their betters. As such the EU is inherently anti-democratic: demonstrated by its treatment of Greece and an approach to referendums best summed up as “you can vote as many times as you like, so long as you eventually vote for what we want”…’

‘The irony is that men such as Mr Juncker and Mr Selmayr do not realise how much they are encouraging the decline of their own EU project. Voters do not like being told that they can or cannot vote for someone just because an unelected foreign bureaucrat fears for the consequences.’ (emphasis added).

DT’s man at the G7 reports Tory MP and founder of Vote Leave, Steve Baker’s reaction to that tweet was, “This is a doubly outrageous intervention. First, unelected officials have no right to interfere in democratic processes. Second, they are flat wrong. Boris is an affable, liberal conservative. There is no comparison between his views and those of the extreme populists of the national right”.

EU: CENTRE OF MALIGN ORTHODOXY

Fraser_Nelson-smallFraser Nelson opens his op-ed by explaining that (giving his German style ‘Professor Dr’), ‘Martin Selmayr is one of the most powerful men you’ve never heard of. He is chief fixer for Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission; we have him to thank, at least in part, for the woeful ‘“deal” that David Cameron was given in his renegotiation…

‘Behold, the great battle of our times: the bureaucrats of Brussels, unsullied by the need to win votes, ready to take on the democratic process and any leaders that it might catapult to power.’

Fraser then tells of the remarkable successes by popular parties in a number of countries: Austria, Italy, Sweden, Holland (‘How did the party of Gert Wilders, once banned from entering Britain, end up most popular in the Netherlands?’) Finland, Poland.

In country after country the answer tends to be the same – globalisation, immigration, economic disadvantage, unemployment. Therefore, ‘increasingly the new populists see the EU as the centre of this malign orthodoxy and call for looser ties with it’.

He concludes, ‘A spectre is once again haunting Europe, but it’s not that of populism. It’s the intransigence of established political parties who prefer to denounce populists rather than seek to understand what motivates their supporters. And the EU, which set out in hope of uniting the continent, has become a source of instability – sticking to an outdated script at a time of unprecedented demographic and economic change…’ [Europe’s voters are – leaders should listen to them, not sneer.]

NB: Fraser’s remark about “the great battle of our times” resonates well with a prophetic word privately circulating among intercessors praying for David and Samantha Cameron and whatever outcome the EU Referendum brings.

EU: “100 TIMES WORSE THAN COMMUNISM” – Ukraine pastor

Finally, evangelist David Hathaway’s extensive connections to Eastern Europe enable him to report recently,

“When I said to the European head of the Pentecostal church in Kiev that the EU is worse than communism he replied that – after years living under communism and now negotiating in Brussels – the EU is ONE HUNDRED TIMES WORSE THAN COMMUNISM.” [Iron Does Not Mix With Clay, Prophetic Vision #80, 2016]

Conclusion

Is the Lord pointing something out through last week’s triple ‘coincidences’?  If so, then we must start to pay close attention to what’s about to happen.

UK/EU in/out #6: “Open blind eyes” prayer

It’s intriguing that the day after a thought got dropped into mind about the Lord exposing politics within the UK and the EU (as herein), ProphecyTodayUK reviewed some recent prophecies and reasoned arguments on Britain’s relationship with the EU.

In last Thursday’s first post I conclude,

“Wouldn’t now be a good time for all the rotten dirty laundry of crumbling EU finances to be exposed in full glare of continent-wide publicity? Maybe it would make messrs Cameron & Osborne do a volte-face, an abrupt U-turn, over the EU!”

Propehcy TodayUKThe closing item in Friday’s ‘Testing Prophecies Together’ by ProphecyTodayUK expands upon what I was trying to convey. Therefore, and with their editor’s kind permission, I draw that item to my reader’s attention for weighing with the Lord.:

‘…an exhortation for prayer from prayer partner Sandy Harvey, sent via the following e-mail to the office:

‘When I was praying for the upcoming referendum this weekend I believe that God gave me a clear word to help us pray for it in an ongoing, continual way.

‘I was interceding at the time but I am aware of the enormity of the decision and the importance of fervent prayer at every possible moment in the coming days.

‘The Word He gave was, “open blind eyes”.

‘I believe God gave this as a simple strategy to be able to continually pray throughout the day wherever we are and whatever we are doing. Whilst driving, shopping or doing any every day activity if we pray those words, ‘Lord, open blind eyes’, we are opening a door for Him to work in somebody.

‘People we see in the street, the man at the petrol pump, the supermarket checkout operator, “Lord open her/his blind eyes”.

‘Firing prayer darts whenever the vote comes to mind.

‘This was weighed and accepted by my prayer partner. I have also just heard that the intercessors in Israel praying for the UK about the referendum have also been using the same words, “Open blind eyes”. (I understand that they are also praying and ‘unblock ears’.)

‘Lay all this before the Lord, with Bibles open, and alongside other prophecies, and in a prayerful attitude seek the Lord’s wisdom for the future of our nation and our vote on 23 June.’

EUROPE vs ISRAEL

The thorough bias against the state of Israel is undoubtedly an important aspect of our Lord’s perspective upon the poisonous political spirit at the heart of the continent dear to my heart.  Middle-Eastern affairs analyst Daniel Pipes has just published a pointed paper that demonstrates this issue, which will have a grave effect upon the EU’s future. That is, it is under the Genesis 12:3 curse of failing to bless the Jewish people in their homeland.

In Left vs Israel, Daniel considers a little-known and seriously warped WHO report that was voted upon by members of the UNO. All European countries – INCLUDING UK – were against Israel. Pipes writes,

‘The unlikely (voting) pattern suggests that monolithic Muslim hostility is cracking while Europeans, who are overwhelmingly on the Left…increasingly despise Israel. Worse, even those who do not share this attitude go along with it, even in an obscure WHO vote.’

SO, we do need to be well aware of serious spiritual issues over being asociated with the European Union.

Paws-4-thought: removal of rubbish and the Lord’s glory

Paws4thort5The surprising find of an old, unread email appears related to today’s plans, the execution of which met with awkward, technical opposition. Before taking the walk mentioned in the previous post I’d emailed single copies of an intercessory email but left the bulk for circulation as an early task this morning.

Now let’s consider that unread email.:

Upon return and preparing for the distribution of the prayer to a several dozen I first dipped into the links in the email and replied to its sender,

‘…Have only now checked the links and particularly note Andy’s closing remarks on what the Lord showed him re St Paul’s (Cathedral) and a barge taking rubbish out to sea: “It’s time to clean My house”.
 
‘The Lord’s timing is always fascinating, so maybe that reflects my thoughts on the Lord starting to expose political wrong-doings, as mentioned in my email on praying for the Camerons….’

That link opens with a reference reflecting something similar that I saw over the weekend on a course on Living in the Anointing.  During fervent worship in the chapel I perceived a large pool of water overflow, as though from a well with a low wall. Soon I understood it may refresh the neighbourhood as the land is slightly higher than and thus may feed into the nearby wide but shallow valley. Later, I learned a visiting preacher’s remarks last week led to a search for dried-up, disused spring of water that served the large premises.

Looking now at the hardcopy of the linked article I notice the website’s appropriate title: Living Stones in Streams of Living Water aka. deepuntodeep-joy.blogspot, and the post refers to a song on the glory of the Lord by Godfrey Birtill: ‘Are You Ready?’.

It then provides a recent marvellous prophetic word that may be akin to the vision Smith-Wigglesworth and his prayer partner Norman James had, albeit 50 years later, of Britain. The writer then tells what he sensed from the Spirit whilst walking around central London and the Thames. I’m grateful, therefore, to Beverley (Joy) Hall for circulating this news.

A quick thought dropped into mind whilst out for a short walk this morning. I wanted to blog it upon return 5 hours ago but first needed to finish circulating an intercessory request to various groups – BUT then I got hit by inordinate difficulties using my email. There were conflicts between my email client and ISP’s server data and even resetting didn’t solve it; then it kept refusing to send because of ‘Too many addressees’!!  As my blogging day’s been halved maybe our enemy’s getting rattled? So here goes:

In re-posting a prophetic word on this month’s ‘Domino Effect’ I speculated that there may be more than one trail of ‘prophetical promises’ Patsy Southway saw, and where it has a counterpart elsewhere. To recap:

‘I cannot but think one of those domino-trails is in the secular world in view of recent, unexpected exposures of political activities. Eg., of anti-Semitism in the Labour party and its leader’s concessionary Mayday speech; of David Cameron’s ‘gaffe’ to the Queen and Archbishop about ‘fantastic’ corruption in Nigeria (read its president’s reaction here); President Obama’s unwelcome interference in the UK/EU Referendum and now his aide Ben Rhodes’ outrageous boasting about their manipulating media lackies with fiction and duplicity over the Iran nuclear deal. For the reasons behind this expose read here. (White House Christian correspondent Bill Koenig often refers to incompetence and lack of required experience and skills of Potus’ aides.) 

NB: The admittance to secret contact with Iran as early as 2011 is incorrect – TWO years too late! It started very early in Obama’s first term and prior to his infamous Cairo speech, as I wrote 7 years ago (18 May 2009) in Today’s Importance in History: 

‘this [diplomatic storm] involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! (It’s reported Obama wanted to be able to use Iran’s territory for supplying US troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan.) Also, there’s been dismay in Cairo and Riyadh over his courting the terrorist mentors in Teheran.’  [per DebkaFile intelligence reports].’

The American issue has since developed: The White House refuses to let Rhodes testify  (Fox News 17 May). Yesterday Reuters reports on the Hilary Clinton’s illegal activities, Clinton email server broke government rules.  HA! LOL!  Maybe that’s why mine was giving me such serious bother this morning 🙂

Also today, the Telegraph Tax Investigation into Trump was published; ie. a report on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s US tax avoidance activities.

All that’s probably nothing compared with the EU, which hasn’t been able to publish any certified accounts for donkey’s years!!

Monday newsmix: UK re-awakening and more Muslims looking to Jesus

Hand with News icon - WatcharakunAfter a short break on the coast followed by a weekend course on living in Holy Spirit’s anointing, I trawled through my in-tray and was very pleased with the following good news. Both items are related to visionary and prophetical words, the first comes from our county town, and the second from the wider Middle-East.

Can These Bones Live?

Dr Clifford Hill reacts as follows to what happened during the Pentecost celebrations:

“If anyone thought that Christianity was dying in the traditional churches of Britain, what happened in Winchester Cathedral last week would have shattered their illusions!”

He reports the ancient, hallowed building and grounds were packed out at that evening’s celebration. This was the culmination of nine days of prayer events for the evangelisation of Britain, as invited by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. The Pentecost weekend itself culminated in six ‘Beacon events’ with video links to Canterbury Cathedral where the Archbishop, Justin Welby, gave a message based upon the Lord’s prayer, which he said was “reassuring enough to be on the lips of the dying and yet dangerous enough to be banned in cinemas!”

“Was this a sign that something special is beginning to happen in the old denominational churches? Will the spiritual life of the nation be transformed by a new generation embracing the gospel in their own culture as the Holy Spirit breathes new life into the unchanging message of salvation and “Jesus is Lord!” is once again heard on the lips of children and young people?”

In my humble opinion, “Yes it is a sign” and my initial thought was of the prophetic promise heard at Ffald-y-Brenin retreat centre, as blogged two years ago in Resurrection Coming to the Anglican Church.:

‘The usual morning liturgical prayer time got overshadowed by the Lord, who reminded them of the raising of Lazarus. They were told He’s going to call the Anglican Church out of its grave and bring it back to life!’

Of all the words published in this blog this may be exceptional because it was the first to be severely criticised, as related in this post about our later visit to Ffald-y-Brenin.  Also, this latest event reflects what others have observed of an increasing number returning to the Anglican fold and other churches – yet without denominational divisions as in bygone eras. And, of course, readers of this blog are aware of many prophetic words about a new era in the Church and move of God in the UK; eg, brought by Heidi Baker (with updates).

Intense Persecution Brings Harvest of Muslims

The exciting news continues of many Muslims seriously doubting their faith and looking and turning to Jesus in reaction to it being returned to its original barbaric practices. As blogged about Iran and a significant warning in Mecca (here and here respectively), as well as other posts, this is personally encouraging in view of a vision I had in 1992 on the fall of Islam (see this email).

Another morning email Is There Any Good News From the Mid-East? alerted me to Joel Rosenberg’s latest post, in which his friend Tom Doyle answers,

“Yes, despite intense prosecution we’re also seeing a great harvest of Muslims turning to Christ.”

After providing several wonderful examples, especially of those martyred on a beach in Libya to the shock of the world, Tom asks why is it that Muslims are now coming to faith in Christ in significant numbers? His answer:

“One of the reasons is that Islamic terrorists are killing violently for their faith, while followers of Jesus are dying peacefully for their faith. Muslims are watching the violence and it has soured them towards their religion. It has also opened them up to the possibility that there may be something to this Jesus after all. They see hate in Radical Islam and love among the Jesus followers, even as they are taken to be executed. What a contrast.

“Yes, Christians are being persecuted openly in the Middle East. But they are standing strong, and this has served to spread the gospel even more rapidly. In a world of bad news, that is very good news.”

Indeed it is. And as noted in Good News: Christian Revival in N Africa, the Cartheginian early Church author Tertullian observed the same and formulated the famous dictum:

“The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church.”

Patsy Southway: this month’s ‘domino effect’

On Tuesday Patsy Southway posted these encouraging words on her Pick Ministries blogspot.:

MONTH OF MAY – THE DOMINO EFFECT

Patsy SouthwayA couple of weeks ago I was sharing with a few close friends about an open vision I had received from the Lord. In the vision I saw a long wavy line of dominos. Several, of which, were different colours; with their usual number of dots on them. I sensed that each domino had been strategically placed in preparation for the momentum that occurs when the first one is touched.

Then God said to me that during the month of May many will see the beginning of a ‘domino effect’ in their lives. As God’s finger touches the very first domino; the rippling effect will be breath-taking!

I could see immense JOY exploding as long awaited promises and prophetic words that had been spoken, were suddenly, (it seemed suddenly but God has been behind the scenes working all the while) manifesting and bringing to birth the fulfillments that had been longed for.

I sensed too that for some the hope of ever seeing these promises come to pass had almost died as they had become weary in the waiting and had forgotten that God, our God, is a faithful God and ALL his promises are ‘yes and amen!’

For some, this will also be a time to see the beginning of an ENLARGEMENT! Those that have had to stand firm and entered into a LIFESTYLE of what I call ‘Heart Alignment’ (John 5:19) will no longer take any nonsense from the Father of Lies over their own lives, the lives of their families, Churches/Gatherings, their towns, cities and nations! A Holy boldness will be evident in these ones which will cause a stirring, a hunger even, resulting in great exploits to see Jesus glorified all over the world.

I also saw the ENLARGEMENT of territory, of land, and increase in all areas connected with the wealth of God’s Kingdom. As the finger of God touches the first domino we will hear the click click click of the rippling effect throughout the nations!

NB: The admittance to secret contact with Iran as early as 2011 is incorrect – TWO years too late! It started very early in Obama’s first term and prior to his infamous Cairo speech, as I wrote 7 years ago (18 May 2009) in Today’s Importance in History: 

‘this [diplomatic storm] involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! UK/EU in/out #5: vision of Britain and our End-time purpose

An exhortation to pray for Britain’s leaders and people to know and move into God’s full purpose for us. When we humbly recognise, repent and turn from all that’s contradictory to the spirit of our prayers and seek God’s face for fuller revelation, then He promises to hear, forgive and cleanse us individually and nationally and to heal our land (per 2 Chron 7:14)

Thank you to Lynne at Father’s House of Prayer for reminding me of this powerful vision the Lord gave Wendy Alec a week after bombings on London Transport in July 2005 (see Watchman Network report). This extract from the full vision explains unequivocally why Britain should extricate itself from the anti-Christ spirits presiding across the water.:

Wendy Alec‘…And the Lord showed me huge flourishing green tree that was planted in the European mainland – its huge trunk seemed to be planted in Brussels and the foliage had grown so dense that the trees branches and foliage had grown over the English channel and covered Britain in a great dark shadow and thousands of smaller offshoots and branches had taken deep root in Great Britain – and I saw the roots tangled and grown into London and then through the British Isles up all the way to Scotland.

‘The Lord said –

“These are the deep roots of secularism and humanism that have taken deep root in this nation – these are the roots that are eroding this nation’s faith!”

‘And I saw thousands upon thousands of people bowing in obedience to this tree and the roots were tightly twisted around their ankles – but they seemed totally unaware of this – that they were bound – and so they rejected the faith of their fathers – and I saw a great scoffing and a great decline in the traditions and the foundations of the past – and this mass of people was divided into two camps – the first huge mass of people whose ankles were bound by the gnarling roots of the green tree from Europe were younger and seemed more modern in their approach – and I saw written over their head – ‘UNBELIEF’ – ‘CYNICISM’ – ‘HUMANISM’ – and the foliage and green leaves seemed to shadow their heads – and I sensed that they were being attacked at a cerebral level.”

‘But the second group seemed to be those whose roots and foundations were from the established traditional denominations of Britain – yet they were just as affected as this first group – but I saw written over their head – ‘PRIDE’ – ‘SKEPTICISM’ – ‘CLOSED MINDEDNESS’ and I sensed that the roots around their ankles had bound them in a different manner – that even if they heard the call of the Spirit in these days that the spiritual forces had them so bound that they could not move with the tide and the times of God – and I saw the green foliage literally cover and shadow their foreheads and eyes and I saw the word blinding.”

‘And I said to the Lord, “Father – what does this mean?” And He said –

“The spirits that led Europe into post Christian decline – have invaded Great Britain over these past decades – and have infiltrated and overshadowed the nation with the same humanism and paganism and secularism – and yet Britain is still so blinded by her roots and her foundations that she is still declaring herself a Christian nation” – but the Lord says that, “She has been shackled by the enemy.”

‘And I said, “Lord what can break the shackles?”

‘And the Lord spoke and said,

“The prayers and fervent supplications of My saints in Great Britain – the repentance for the sins of commission and omission on behalf of the governments of Great Britain – on behalf of the people of Great Britain.”

‘Then I asked the Lord about the Church – and He showed me thousands of people all belonging to different denominations with divisions and literally multitudes of OPINION – and somehow it seemed that the people’s opinion was all more important in their eyes than God’s opinion and I heard Him say:

“Until their opinions become My opinion the Church will continue to be divided among itself and be weak and underfed and lack the true POWER of GOD – Oh yes,” says the Lord –

“There are many meetings – there are many committees – there are many opinions – opinions – but it is not the opinion and the thoughts of men’s hearts that will change the destiny of Great Britain – but the opinion and the thoughts and intents of the word of the Living God – Humble yourselves – Humble yourselves and put aside your opinions and press into me the Living God for a living Word.”

‘And the Lord said –

“A humble and penitent heart I will not despise.”

– and I saw the words written – ‘DIVISIONS AND FACTIONS’.”

‘Then as people dropped to their knees all over Britain from every walk of life and denomination – the lion started to change – and He grew strong and sleek and his roar grew stronger. And I saw written in the spirit – “Create in me a clean heart O God – and renew a right spirit within me”. And as the people started to seek the face of the Lord I saw the word ‘COURAGE’ – and I knew that in the spirit realm that Great Britain had been endowed from the beginning of time with the mantle ‘COURAGE’ – and the Lord said,

“LIONHEART”

‘And God said Britain has yet to move into her end-time destiny in the nations – And I saw again in great letters – the words –

“THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM THE LION – BUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL RETURN.”

AMEN: Lord let Your Kingdom come, Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven…

UK/EU in/out #4: prophetic warning urges “come out!”

To continue in the prophetical vein from the latter half of #3 In the Face of God, the timing of this seems apropos to today’s headlines. (My intention for this mini-series on the EU and referendum of our membership is to present a ‘prophetical sandwich’ of spiritual food for thought stuffed between two ‘doughy’ slices of politico-historical, legal data.)

We learn PM Cameron has ‘lost the plot’ by saying that Brexit could lead of war because of  secession/independence from the EU. (Timed for today’s celebration of Europe Day marking the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration of 9th May 1950). He would be wiser were he to seek, hear and heed the Living Lord’s opinion on the EU’s future.

Readers who followed the link in this series’ #1 post may have already read the following from a Bible teacher whom we’ve known for years (and who gave Nina an accurate word a few months before our marriage). The following prophetic word is posted with permission of Prophecy Today UK, with sub-heading linking to the original.:

DAVID NOAKES’ PROPHECY

This prophetic word was delivered during a meeting with a group of ministry leaders on 17th November last year.:

“Nation of Britain, I have loved you with a love which has not ceased, despite the state of apostasy and degradation into which you have fallen. My anger towards those church leaders who have taught false things in My Name, and encouraged others to believe and act as they do, is intense and My judgment upon them will be severe. Yet I have compassion upon those who have been like sheep without godly shepherds; and My heart still longs to exercise mercy upon a nation whose forefathers upheld My Name and took My Word to the ends of the earth; a nation whose belief in the truth of My Word framed godly laws and inspired a culture of uprightness.

“Rather than rely on Me and My faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied My Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of Me and its hardness of heart towards My ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore My hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

“Hear Me, O once godly nation and respond to My call, or you also will come to ruin in that same judgment of destruction. This is not My will for you, but you must choose the course which you will take. I urge you to respond to Me and choose life under My hand of discipline and protection, rather than death in the disaster which is even now coming upon Europe.”

I’m grateful to Dave Chapman for this paper of 7th April and especially for emphasing the importance of Christians taking a stand (hence my under-linings) and for including some prophetical visions. The Footnote updates the first section and considers the Lord’s hand behind the exposures of anti-Semitism in UK politics.:

IN THE FACE OF GOD

We have reached a time in our nation where we need to stand up and be counted. Here is an example why :-

In recognition of Baal worship

“On April 19, 2016, in cooperation with national and international cultural heritage preservation organizations, and in conjunction with World Heritage Week 2016, the Institute for Digital Archaeology will install a monumental scale reconstruction of Palmyra’s Triumphal Arch on Trafalgar Square. Through this project — and others like it scheduled throughout 2016 in cities both inside and outside the Middle East — the IDA seeks to provide an optimistic and constructive response to the ongoing threats to history and heritage that have captured headlines over the past year. Our aim is to highlight the potential for the triumph of human ingenuity over violence by offering innovative, technology-driven options for the stewardship of objects and architecture from our shared past”. A considered response

‘Voice for Justice’ make a response this way (most of original on Voice for Justice UK – News) :-

‘We call on the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and Roger Michel, executive director of the Institute for Digital Archaeology, to abandon immediately the scheme to reconstruct the Arch of Palmyra in Trafalgar Square on April 19.  In 2015 the pictures of destruction by ISIS/Daesh of the Temple of Bel (also known as Baal Shamin) in Palmyra rightly shocked the world, and attempts to safeguard the world’s historical heritage from future acts of senseless aggression are to be applauded.

‘However, the reconstruction of the temple arch in Trafalgar Square on April 19 by the Oxford based Institute of Digital Archaeology (IDS) will serve a much darker purpose….. From earliest times Baal was a powerful symbol for evil and the occult: a pagan Canaanite god who demanded regular and bloody appeasement by child sacrifice.  Baal worship, representing all that was evil, was particularly condemned in the Bible (e.g. Leviticus 18:21).

‘In terms of symbolic value, however, even more disturbing is the date chosen for the reconstruction of the monument, because in occult belief, April 19 marks the Feast of Moloch, another ancient Canaanite god, specifically associated with Baal (e.g. Jeremiah 32:35), who also demanded child sacrifice.  April 19 marks the first day of a thirteen day period known as the “blood sacrifice to the beast,” and culminates in the high occult holy day of Beltane on 1st May……[NB. date for Footnote]

‘….Without question, April 19…is one of the most significant dates in the occult calendar. Was the selection of this particular date to reconstruct an ancient monument to the god Baal random or deliberate?  Either way, it is extremely unfortunate, to say the least.

‘If we allow the erection of this Arch we will be placing a symbol of death, murder, child sacrifice and sexual immorality in the heart of London…….. And we call on the Mayor of London to uphold the UK’s Christian heritage and ban the erection of a monument that is clearly hostile to Christian belief.”

Flying in the Face of God

Surely such a thing flies in the face of God.  Our battle though is not a physical one, even though we cannot stay silent by failing to protest its erection in our Capital City, despite their claim that it is apparently intended only for World Heritage purposes. Why should we celebrate what we know is specifically identified in Scripture as a forbidden ‘god’ by the Lord Himself!?  Of course, as Christians we do not, but why should we not speak up, as those aware of evil things, since we desire blessing upon our Nation, not cursing.

Another edifice to ‘another god’ 

There again, there is our Union with Europe, which as we pray for our Nation to return to God, includes praying concerning this upcoming Referendum Vote on the 23rd June, and, as we do, we find clarity that the prime issue is a spiritual one.  It is clear that the whole of this Union is constructed not only on a Godless basis – in fact God is not mentioned in any of the founding or official documents of this Union – which therefore stands in direct competition to God, in setting itself up as an alternative power to rule – therefore as an alternative Kingdom.  That, in itself is an alignment with the spirit of anti-Christ.  We shall return to this aspect.

A grand example to us all 

Not only this, but as a Nation – I mean the current British Isles – we have a Monarch, who achieves her 90th birthday on the 21st of this month, who recognises, and serves, our God as her King, and recommends  the Christian Gospel.  For instance, in her Coronation vows, the Queen requested Gods help to make good her vow to the Nation – which is ‘to be devoted to our service’ – and requested Him’ to bless us all’.  At this same Coronation she received the Bible, given to her at that time as  “The most valuable thing that this world affords”.  Later, the Queen in her message to the Nation in 2008 expressed, in speaking of Jesus of Nazareth (there is no disputing who she speaks of), that “so many of us are able to draw inspiration from His message, and to find in Him a source of strength and courage”.

Then in her message of 2012, when speaking to us, the Queen quoted from the carol  “In the bleak mid winter” these words  “What can I give him, poor as I am?  If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb; if I were a wise man I would do my part. Yet, what I can I give him? – give my heart”.  It is clear the Queen understands to love and follow Christ is a matter of the heart and not of words only.

All these things are imbedded in our Constitutional Monarchy, and have been for centuries the basis of our Governmental authority. Yet we find no such thing in the EU Constitution.  Are we really wanting to give up such a Godly heritage?  If so we will find a quickening decline into open rebellion against God, with pretty dire spiritual, and natural consequences.  As if we are not in considerable trouble with our present spiritual state already!

Choose the better path

No, it is time to stand up and be counted – and be clear about it.  We need to leave the EU. It may be the only opportunity we get before the whole thing descends into more and more chaos.  It’s central Parliament is as we know held in Brussels, the Capital of Belgium, which itself became locked in confusion for over one year and seven months as it tried to put together a Coalition after their last Election.  What an example from the EU’s present Capital City!  We can see what happened here:-

‘Following the Belgian general election held on 13 June 2010, a process of cabinet formation started in Belgium. The election produced a very fragmented political landscape, with 11 parties elected to the Chamber of Representatives, none of which won more than 20% of the seats. The separatist New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), the largest party in Flanders and the country as a whole, controls 27 of 150 seats in the lower chamber. The Francophone Socialist Party (PS), the largest in Wallonia, controls 26 seats. Cabinet negotiations continued for a long time. On 1 June 2011, Belgium matched the record for time taken to form a new democratic government after an election, at 353 days, held until then by Cambodia in 2003–2004.[1] On 11 October 2011, the final agreement for institutional reform was presented to the media. A government coalition was named on 5 December 2011 and sworn in after a total of 541 days of negotiations and formation on 6 December 2011,[2] and 589 days without an elected government [3] with Elio Di Rupo named Prime Minister of the Di Rupo I Government.’  (The bold letters are mine – DC – for emphasis. Otherwise all above as quote from Wikipedia here) :-

Can we really ignore what confusion and ineptness, as a Governmental example, we have from the very seat of this unwieldy Organisation?  We may do so at our peril.  Could their malaise over the Jihadists living in areas of Brussels be connected to this lack of Government?  At least they do not have to vote again till 2019 though!

However, in finding out how Belgium got its name, we discover its ancient roots are linked with the worship of Bel, and Belenus, the Babylonian and Celtic sun gods, indicating  ‘lord and master’, known otherwise as Baal also! Conspiracy of links?   No, clear demonic overlay.  We have pointed out before also the Statue of the Woman riding on the Bull shown outside the European Buildings there.  Apocalyptic imagery indeed.

Another EU Parliament?

Of course, the other Parliament in the EU is in Strasbourg.  Built there at a cost to Member Countries of the EU of some 500 million Euros – let alone the secondary buildings! – and designed to represent the unfinished Tower of Babel – which itself means “confusion”  – (The people who built this original Tower attempted to enter spiritual realms beyond this earth to gain power to operate totally independently of God, so were scattered by the Lord through confusion their languages) – It is active for just 4 days a month, when papers, personnel, security, MEP’s, the whole shebang – decamps from Brussels to hold Parliament there, and then back! 

The strap-line to Sunday Telegraph’s Chief Reporter Robert Mendick’s report The Farce of the EU Travelling Circus published on 11 January 2014 reads.:

‘The full cost of the travelling circus that sees MEPs decamp once a month from Brussels to Strasbourg can be disclosed. And even though MEPs have voted to scrap a second parliament, the French government has the power to block any such move.’

What of us?

Are we any better though?  It’s not really a point of ‘being better’, is it?  Surely, in the face of such control – and increasingly so with regard to our Laws, our Finances, our Business relationships, as well as our spiritual alignments – we need the ability to make our own decisions, choose our own path, to walk as much as is possible with as many Countries as possible, but not to be controlled, manipulated or intimidated by them.  We have ‘sleep walked’ into this mess.  We have been  passive for too long.  Are we brave enough to start to step out of it?

Are we, as Christians, at last going to express what we really feel and know in our inner beings about this matter? We have a choice.  In this life choice is one of the most valuable things we have.  It is directly linked to freedom. We can take a lead.  Too many live under despotic regimes where they have none.  Let’s own some backbone.  I wanted to say have some ‘steel’ in us, but that’s another problem at the moment too! – and not unconnected either!  As has been said “it only takes good men (and women) to do nothing for evil to triumph”.

Voice of believers

But, here are also some things from believers, the one who we know well, and trust her spiritual insights; the other, though a total stranger, sounds like she has bothered to pray about these matters for nigh on 30 years.  That’s good enough for me.  Firstly, from her :-

“In my quiet time I was led to Matthew 16:19 where it talks about binding and loosing. I confess I didn’t fully understand the principle and asked the Lord for clarification. I began to think of a vision I had way back in ’87 of scissors cutting through the English Channel. The Lord told me I was to pray that we are to cut off from Europe.  I asked why not a sword? “You got yourselves into this mess, you are going to have to pray yourselves out. Every time you pray according to my will I will cut…cut.” The vision then changed to a Britain as a battleship tied by her stern to Europe with an enormous rope; I then saw little fiery darts hitting and cutting into the rope, these I understood to be the prayers of the saints. As I watched the rope broke and the battleship slowly turned to face Europe, and the covers came off her guns; signifying this was a spiritual as well as a physical battle.”

Some weeks later a Pastor’s wife rang to say she had the same vision and what did it mean? I explained, and then we discovered that women all over the country were having the same vision.

“29 years later we are on the threshold of the rope breaking in the coming Referendum as we seek to leave the EU. So what has this to do with binding and loosing in Matt 16:19?  I wrote down the word ‘Europe’ and immediately saw the word EuROPE, the rope that binds us to the EU…..”

Then again, earlier this year, in response to my item called  ‘Britain and the EU’, Sue commented :-

“Some years back when I was praying  for Europe one Tuesday afternoon, the Lord gave me an action picture of the map of Europe.  I saw the UK right at the heart of Europe, then a big hand came and grabbed the whole nation, wrenched it out of Europe and put it back in its place, which is geographically where it is on maps.  Then Europe imploded on itself, as if it was in tatters.”

A Second Chance

So, some 41 years on from our last opportunity to express our personal conviction on this matter, we have this chance to change our course.  Mind you, it was not the same question then we answered.  At that stage it was whether we wanted to be a part of a free trading Europe, or not.  But, we were not told the truth, which Mr Heath admitted to.  Now that it is clear what it is all about, and with increasing loss of National Sovereignty, we can make a wiser decision. As one happy campaigner said today, after Holland said “No” to greater trading ties with Ukraine, “what we want is cooperation between European nation States, without all the superstructure we have at present”.

Neither did our current Government expect to have to grant a Referendum, since although it was a main promise if they won the Election, no one, the Conservatives included, other politicians or forecasters, expected an outright majority for them!  They certainly didn’t!   But now they had to keep their promise, otherwise there would have been uproar in the Conservative Party.  The Referendum Act in Parliament, some 7 months later, was passed into Law.  So, it was a ‘set up’!  And who did that?   I suspect our ALL KNOWING GOD did!

A Higher Purpose

But, let’s not waste this opportunity, and so gather to pray, in two’s and few’s, and many too, not only about this, but for the real purpose of separating  from the EU – which is to head these Nations back to God.  (Many will be doing so on St George’s Day 23rd April, also Passover.  George, a Christian in Diocletian’s Roman army in 303 AD, who refused to deny his faith, became a martyr).  Leaving the EU is just a big step to choosing a better path for that.  We are not above any other peoples, but we can choose to be blessed, and be a blessing to others, to fulfil the long-established, un-rescinded call of God to spread His name around the world, by being an example among the Nations to His faithfulness, His Gospel, and His Kingdom, through, and from these Nations.  “The gifts and callings of God are without repentance”.  They are there for picking up again – and He wants us to.

That has to be our goal, otherwise we become lost in the political and economic tangles of one issue alone, then, only to find his purposes still exist for us, whatever the result on the day – it’s just that one pathway will be less severe as a journey to that end, than the other.

After much public protestation – by believers and the public in UK and USA, over the raising of a Baal Arch in London and New York, we understand New York cancelled theirs, and the one raised in London was only the Roman Arch at the front of their Colonnade and Market.  Voice for Justice says, “We are being contacted by people saying they have heard interviews on LBC radio reporting that the Triumphal Arch today being erected in Trafalgar Square is part of the Temple of Bel/Baal, and asking what is going on.  In particular, they are asking if we have been misled. The answer to this, we believe, is no.   It is our understanding that the Roman Triumphal Arch was not part of the Temple of Bel/Baal but was an entirely separate structure standing at the end of a colonnade that began in the market place and led up to the Temple. Current misreporting appears to reflect the general confusion surrounding reconstruction of the arch, but may also mirror continued attempts to claw back victory.   Either reason serves to demonstrate the continued need for vigilance and prayer.”  [Thanks for this Dave; latest from VFJuk may be read in ‘Victory’.]
  2. Interesting to note above reference to pagan significance of 1st May, which is also celebrated by Communism and Socialism as the workers’ public holiday. This year however, we can see the hand of the Lord in exposing the outrageous anti-Semitism buried deeply within the Labour Party. This necessitated its leader Jeremy Corbyn’s eventual denunciation of all racialism in his public Mayday speech (report here) .
  3. Dave’s calls for us to “Stand!” speaks to me about the meaning of an open vision I had in 2004 of a map of Britain. As the fabric of society is rotten I saw a great tear appear from which emerged a huge long rock, in the same location as the Pennines – I understood this means the Lord will restore our strong, spiritual backbone when we stand upon Him, The Rock –  see Comments upon the collapse of Society.

Reports of ‘Awakenings’ in USA – UK next please Lord (#1,000)

Appropriately for this blog’s 1,000th post there’s news of developments in the New Era for the Church:

At Sunday’s morning’s service in CHP in Alabama pastor John Kilpatrick said he’s being contacted about a revival involving many young people in eastern Kentucky, as well as one happening in West Virginia (see video at 1:19:40). He reminded the congregation of what he heard when visiting the Appalachian area of the early 19th Century Cane Ridge Revival.

Those remarks are particularly interesting in view of news received the previous day from Michael Marcel. He updates subscribers to his website with a couple of email, one of which was also circulated to nearly two hundred leaders and which reads as follows:

Dear Pastor, Prophet or Leader
THIS IS AN AWAKENING SEASON
Most of you know that Revival/Awakening has been on my heart for several years now and I am sure you have heard many prophecies over the last two years that Revival is coming – well, that season is upon us!
An awakening has been apparent in many parts of the world for a year or more – the underground church and government churches in China, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mozambique, Uganda to name a few. I believe it is clear that the Billion soul revival, as prophesied by Bob Jones, is with us. It has been noticeable though that there has been little happening in the west – America and Europe.
This has now changed. This week I came back from the Fire & Glory outpouring in San Diego. It has been going for 89 nights (6 nights a week) and each meeting can be viewed here:

Since March there has been a full-scale awakening in West Virginia with hundreds of students coming to the Lord, as reported by Christian Today in this post.
Today,  I have discovered that something else is beginning in Edmonton, Canada, through Todd Bentley. He has just announced he is extending his conference by a week.
So, now it is our turn and the turn of Europe. I personally have not heard of anything breaking out here in the UK (apart from Coleraine last year), but perhaps you know different; if so please let me know. It is not a guarantee that the awakening will hit us; it is up to us – we have to take a risk and step into what God is doing. There is a significant personal cost in putting on meetings every night or several times a week, but I believe that this will happen here soon. This is a time when we need to work out where God wants us in the Revival; there is no more time, it is at our door, so I urge you to switch into revival mode.
I do not know about you, but I am NOT going to let this awakening pass us by. If there were the demand I would open my house up to worship and prayer every night.
I know each one of you are doing wonderful things, but I am writing to you to urge you, if you are not already doing it, to prepare for revival!

UK/EU in/out #1: Referendum and Remnant’s opportunity

THE REFERENDUM: AN EXERCISE IN BULLYING by Dr Clifford Hill

The Government’s propaganda may put people off, or it may deceive them – just as the nation was deceived in the 1975 EU Referendum.

C Hill 163835British people dislike bullies. We have a strong sense of fair play and on big issues we like to weigh the evidence and make up our own minds. We are an island people and we value our independence. We do not like being bullied. This is why the huge pressure being put upon the electorate by the Government and their overseas friends, international leaders, big business corporations and bankers may prove to be counter-productive.

The Government promised to help the undecided by publishing the facts. Instead, they have spent £9 million on a blatant piece of propaganda trying to persuade us to stay in the European Union. The front page title of the booklet gives the game away. It says nothing about a presentation of the facts. Its title is “Why the Government believes that voting to remain in the European Union is the best decision for the UK”. It then states “The UK has secured a special status in the reformed EU”.

We should surely be entitled to ask, what ‘special status’? And in what way is the EU ‘reformed’? Are the British people once again being deceived by lies from powerful politicians – as we were 40 years ago?

More Deception?

What is happening today looks very similar to how we were tricked into entered the European Union. Ted Heath, the Prime Minister who did the original deal in 1973, readily admitted before he died that he had lied to Parliament and to the British people because he knew that we were not simply joining a trading group but that the intention was always to work towards the formation of a United States of Europe in which we would all lose our sovereign identity.1

This fact was deliberately kept hidden from the British public when we voted at the 1975 referendum on whether or not we should stay in the ‘European Economic Community’ (‘Common Market’) as it was then described. In those days it was largely a trading group with nine member states, whereas today the EU is a very different beast, with 28 members in a tightly regulated organisation bound by treaties, such as Maastricht and Lisbon, and controlled by an unelected Commission backed by an enormous bureaucracy, with institutions such as the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice exercising enormous power over our own parliament and legal courts.

When the Maastricht Treaty was being negotiated there were attempts by churches to get some reference to the Judaeo-Christian heritage of Europe but this was strongly resisted by secular humanists, who prevailed.2 The resultant European Union is not only deliberately a godless – in fact, God-denying – organisation, but it is also systemically corrupt, as demonstrated by the fact that it has not been able to persuade the auditors to endorse its accounts for at least the past five years.3 In this country, if a company were in that situation they would not only be prosecuted but they would not be allowed to continue in business.

Miracles in the Past

So how should Christians decide on such an important issue? We surely have to recognise the moral and spiritual battle for the soul of Britain that is involved in the present referendum debate. Christians need to know what God is saying to us, not least by looking at the recent history of Britain in a biblical context. This enables us to understand the purposes of God and what he requires of a nation with a strong Judaeo-Christian heritage such as Britain’s.

There are still many people in the older generation who remember that God worked a miracle at Dunkirk in 1940, saving our army from annihilation and giving us victory in the Battle of Britain in the skies. Even Churchill acknowledged in Parliament that it Dunkirk was a “miracle of deliverance”.4 Those were days when the whole nation turned to prayer.

It was also at a time of national prayer that Hitler took the irrational decision not to invade Britain. It is now recognised that if the German invasion had taken place in 1940 nothing could have stopped them conquering Britain. Dad’s Army would no doubt have fought valiantly but German Panzer tanks would have been rolling down Whitehall within days.

When a nation puts its destiny in the hands of God it can expect miracles to happen. It has happened in the past and it can happen again today – if there is a sufficiently strong believing remnant in the country.

Opportunity for the Remnant

Of course we know that as a nation we have spurned our spiritual heritage: we have passed many ungodly laws and we no longer deserve to be called a Christian nation. But there is undoubtedly a strong remnant of believers in the older generation and there are many indications of young people coming to faith in Jesus – possibly in reaction to the mess their unbelieving parents have made of the nation. It is the middle generation who are missing in many churches up and down the country today.

Believing Christians know that as a nation we deserve judgement but we also know the love and mercy of God who has given a solemn promise, “If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned” (Jer 18:7).

The Referendum debate is bringing believing Christians to prayer throughout the country. Many prayer meetings are organised for this weekend, St George’s Day, 23 April, and many more are planned between now and 23 June. These prayer meetings give us a chance to seek the Lord and know what he is saying to the nation so that we can pray in line with God’s will and vote accordingly.

Word on the EU, 2015

We have already nailed our colours to the mast in this magazine but we know many Christians who are still undecided. We respect their integrity and we therefore encourage them to join other Christians in prayer where they can spend time spreading the whole issue before the Lord who will surely answer in clarity.

Alongside this article we are printing a prophecy from David Noakes that has already been widely circulated. I was with him when he received this prophecy towards the end of last year. David and I have been close friends and colleagues since the early days of the old printed magazine, Prophecy Today.

We have shared a platform at hundreds of meetings over the years and I have heard him prophesy many times, but I have never heard him bring a word that is as directional as this. In publishing it today, please understand that we are not saying that this is a direct word from the Lord. We offer it in love and humility to our fellow believers for weighing and testing, and we offer it as part of the process of seeking the word of the Lord for Britain today.

EU Referendum Deception – 1975 and now!

The European Union is of serious concern for those interested in Bible prophecy. Some theologians and commentators consider it may be the disturbing beast OT prophet Daniel saw in a very vivid vision. He was told this “fourth beast shall be a kingdom different from all other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth” (see Daniel 7).

In 1973 the British people were tricked into entering membership of the European Union. The Prime Minister responsible for the original deal, Edward Heath (nicknamed ‘Heath the teeth’ for his smile), readily admitted before he died that he lied (through his teeth!) to Parliament and the people.

Heath knew the EU wasn’t just a trading partnership but that the UK would eventually lose its sovereign identity! The real intention behind The Treaty of Rome’s establishment of a West European trading union has always been to work towards forming a political and financial federation – a United States of Europe.

In reference to that, Revd Dr Clifford Hill writes in ProphecyTodayUK (re-posted here),

And that’s just one reason why I object in principle to the EU – the main one being that it’s a spiritual issue and one all Christians need to be well-aware of in deciding which way to vote in June’s referendum. BUT how many are?

Also, it’s not just that the EU’s accounts haven’t been able to be signed off for several years because of gross irregularities, corruption and contingency slush-funding! Or the never-ending interference with our laws and infringements upon our liberties (eg. free-speech and Christian belief) etc, etc, etc…

Mini-Series on UK/EU

Although not following the debate closely I’ve read several useful articles that are worth bringing to my reader’s attention. Had it not been such a busy month I’d have posted them separately but am now catching up by posting a series of scripturally-related and rhema-prophetical pieces for auto-publication over the next few days.

I trust this will not inundate you but that you’ll find the posts worth mulling over at leisure. This information will also be available for reference via a new hub on the main-menu.

Well-Informed Opinions

Last Monday I read perhaps the most perspicacious insight in Charles Moore: Notebook – Trade Deals Are Red Herrings in the EU Debate. Writing from the perspective of being one of the privileged upper-class of the ruling ‘elite’, he hints at behind-the-scenes motives which may reinforce New World Order conspiracy theories:

‘One of the most important features of the Westminster system of parliamentary democracy is that it allows voters to throw out one lot and put another in. This can never happen in the EU system. So the careers of the well-educated, unelected, “civilised” people who run the show are unimpeded by the will of the people. 

‘Perhaps because I come from that class, I agree that a high education is a good thing and accept that societies must have their elites, but I also believe that the British genius has been to create a political system in which the common interest of the whole nation can be represented politically. This is impossible in the EU, where there is a ruling class on the one hand, and a sweaty mob (as the ruling class sees it), on the other. If you like that sort of system, when you contemplate your navel, you will vote to Remain.’

Previous Telegraph editor Charles goes on to recommend “by far the best book setting out all European issues” Why Vote Leave? by Daniel Hannan.

Next, politico-religious blogger ‘Archbishop Cranmer’ notes in Owen Paterson: Cameron has “lost touch” with the Counties and will most likely lose his head.:

“The further you go from London, the stronger the feeling is,” said former Environment Secretary Owen Paterson, speaking of England’s deep strains of Euroscepticism. “I do get the slight sense it’s a bit like the Civil War when Charles I sadly completely lost touch with what was happening in the counties,” he added, casting David Cameron as the out-of-touch Prime Minister whose inescapable fate is to lose his head, if he hasn’t already done so. There is a battle going on for the soul of Europe, and the British government has turned its back on all true patriots and democrats, just like the English government of the 17th century didn’t lift a finger to help the Protestant cause. You can gag the pulpits from preaching predestination, but you can’t stop the people searching the scriptures.

‘Owen Paterson’s speech was intelligent and thoughtful. As Dr Eamonn Butler summarised for the Adam Smith Institute: “His basic point is that the EU is not the ‘status quo’ but something that is rapidly moving to destinations that are uncertain and dangerous, particularly for the UK; and that being outside is the safer, more stable option.” And in response to a question, we heard a summary exposition of the transcendent Euro-reality:

‘But this is not a Tory Party issue. This really is not a Tory Party issue. This is our one chance the first time since 1975 – and it divides people of all political parties. What we should be grateful to David Cameron for is that he’s given us the opportunity, and we must not blow it. That’s the point I’m making here. If we blow it, we will have this very unsatisfactory, very unclear, new ‘associate status’. We’ll be outvoted in the Parliament, we’ll be outvoted in the Council, and we’ll be under the cosh of the European Court. That is a highly unsatisfactory destination.

2017, the significance of 70 years and Smith-Wigglesworth’s vision

Upon reading the full transcript of Malcolm Duncan’s message it resonated deeply within my spirit – as well as directly relating to personal experiences. Please bear with me as some of it necessitates reiteration.

Revd Malcolm DuncanWe should note Malcolm’s reservations mirror those of Wigglesworth’s contemporaries over his unorthodox, questionable ministry methods – but whatever the Lord wanted to heal or expel got accomplished. (Bobby Conner recounts his astonishment at seeing a dubious church leader in Jesus’ presence but being rebuked because he’s the Lord’s servant!)  Malcolm’s remarks upon weighing what the Lord may be saying is an object lesson in the prophetic. NB:

“…Denis shouted “And brother I came into the kingdom in 1947” and the minute he said it I thought, “I think God is saying something to me”.
“I think Denis…he used you as a prophetic voice…So what came into my head was “the Smith Wigglesworth prophecy of 1947”.
“I turned to Pauline and said, “Did Smith Wigglesworth prophesy his prophecy in 1947?”, and she said, “I don’t know but I was born in 1947”.
“But as soon as I heard Denis I thought of the Smith Wigglesworth prophecy, which was very unusual for me and made me think, “What are you saying Lord?” I went back and I read it again and thought – “There is something stirring in my spirit here.” (Emphasis added)

Pauline’s reaction is mine too for I always recall that vision’s year is my birth year. Also, the timing of 50 years until my witnessing his prayer partner’s ecstatic joy at also seeing what will be happening across the British Isles is etched in my memory, as told in the previous post.

Yet there’s another reason – and it connects into Malcolm’s thoughts on 70 years as being significant. AND I can offer what he doesn’t – a confirmatory explanation! He said,

“2017 is 70 years after the prophecy was given. 2017 is also 50 years after Jean Darnall’s prophecy, which was given in 1967, when she saw little fires across the UK ablaze and then a river flowing through the UK and into Europe…

“Is God saying something with these two things? The 50th year after Jean Darnall’s prophecy, a year of jubilee. The 70th year after Smith Wigglesworth prophecy, just like there were 70 years of captivity for Israel…I feel like Daniel must have felt like when he found Jeremiah’s promise after 70 years and said, after 70 years I am going to do something.

NOW, this leads into something I’d intended to finish relating to revelations upon timings received last April.  I will be more concise than when I was trying to formulate and clarify what I was learning.:

Charlie ShampOn Good Friday 2015 Charles Shamp taught on the coming September’s fourth blood-moon as marking the beginning of the time of the Army of God. He believes it starts a two-year period that’s open for all believers, but especially for a glorious company praying things from the Age to Come. Thus, the two years until September 2017 will be an extra-special period, not judgmental and destructive.

The details are recounted in A Scriptural context of…the Blood-Moon Tetrad; and under ‘2015 Feast of Tabernacles Blood-Moon’ header in its follow-up post I reported Charlie’s reasons. Those posts were written last September, but the first ones on that Passover-Easter conference appeared a year ago this month. Furthermore, I blogged about the personal significance of 40 and 55 year periods in ‘God-incidents’ Validate Cycles and Point to Near-Future.

70-Years Period

I didn’t, however, explain the personal relevance of 70 years to 23rd September 2017.

As in those posts, Charlie relates that date to the prophet Daniel’s forecast and bequest to the Magi of his revelation on ‘The Star of Bethlehem’; a reappearance of which is expected in astronomical stellar and planetary alignments of 23.9.2017 (note: not astrology!). More specifically, this future event relates to Revelation 12:1 – John’s vision of the woman clothed with the sun. (For more read Nelson Walters Who Is the Woman of Rev.12?)

My reaction was – “My 70th birthday’s the day before!”.  So the 23rd September 2017 will start a new 70-year period for me.

70 is a biblically sacred number the two factors of which are perfect numbers, 7 and 10 representing perfection and completeness respectively. As such, it symbolizes perfect spiritual order carried out with all power, and can also represent a period of judgment (courtesy BibleStudy.org, which gives other examples to those Malcolm cites). Also, Jewish scholars teach that ‘The Torah has 70 Faces’, or levels of interpretation!

Last year saw 70th anniversary celebrations over the end of World War II, and other occasions. 2017 will be the 70th anniversary of crucial events in the birth of the state of Israel. In A Few Thoughts To Mark the Occasion of the 67th birthday of that state, Joel Rosenberg writes about a critical occasion in 1947 on the UN Partition Plan for Palestine upon the British withdrawal from that Mandated Territory, as follows:

‘To succeed, the Partition Plan needed a two-thirds majority vote of the U.N. General Assembly. With just days to go before that historic vote on November 29, 1947, however, supporters of the plan were still three votes short. Some have suggested that President Truman personally called leaders of other nations to encourage them to support the American position. Others say he didn’t but that staff in his administration did; the record is not clear. Either way, most historians—including David McCullough, who won the Pulitzer Prize for his extraordinary biography Truman—acknowledge that Truman wanted the plan to pass and played a role behind the scenes. In the end, Truman got his way. The Partition Plan dramatically passed at the last moment, thirty-three to thirteen, with ten abstentions’.

2017 – Unity

Malcolm Duncan gives his reasons for 2017 being a significant year and seeing a move of God in the UK, for which he believes God is asking us to get ready in many ways. I will cover this essential aspect in another post…

By the way, Erik Hadik, the financial analyst I occasionally blog about, gave this forecast last June on 2017:

‘The culmination of so many diverse cycle in 2017 keeps receiving powerful validation. For instance, the convergence of 8-year, 17-year and 40-year cycles – all related to China – have been forecast to accelerate into 2017.’

Watching what’s happening in the Church – Jean Darnall Vision #3

This important message delivered to the World Prayer Centre by a ‘Bible expositor’ and lead pastor of a Baptist church is for the whole Church (and has a personal relevance). So I urge readers’ careful consideration and thank Suzanne Payne, Lynne Hodder and Mark Maddock for alerting me to it. The WPC’s introduction reads as follows.:

‘In March 2016, the World Prayer Centre hosted the WATCHING 2016 national prayer conference at The Hayes conference centre in Swanwick, Derbyshire. Over 240 people gathered for powerful time of seeking God, prayer, being equipped and released with fresh vision and prayer strategy.

‘Revd Malcolm Duncan of Gold Hill Baptist church was our guest speaker for the third year. It was a time of envisioning, watching and hearing what the Lord is saying in these times. We also hosted four workshops as part of the conference, which were to equip people in prayer, evangelism and the prophetic.

‘Malcolm brought a significant prophetic word to the Church in these Islands at our conference. It builds on important words spoken by Smith Wigglesworth (1947) and Jean Darnall (1967) of God’s call on Great Britain. We feel that it is right to release this Word to the wider Church.’

WATCHING  WHAT  IS  HAPPENING  IN  THE  CHURCH

(The above sub-title links into condensed transcription with introductory summation.) The conference began with a delegate referring to having come to faith in 1947, which sparked a recollection in Malcolm Duncan of Smith Wigglesworth’s and Jean Darnall’s visions. The original, fuller transcription begins with wise words, by which we perceive his gifting.:

Revd Malcolm Duncan“I am not prone to saying the Spirit has said something, unless I really believe the Holy Spirit has said something. Let me say before I say what I am about to say that my understanding of New Testament prophecy is that it is quantitatively different from Old Testament prophecy and it should always be presaged with the acknowledgement that you might be wrong and it should always be presaged with an invitation to the person over who you are prophesying to turn to the scriptures to see if these things are so, and it should always be presaged with the acknowledgement that you have got it wrong – so what I am about to say is said in that context – on the plus side that means you can’t stone me!

“So I was really praying about this and I wasn’t expecting to be delivering this to you at all as we began on Monday…with Ian talking about communion and, as he was talking about communion, Denis shouted “And brother I came into the kingdom in 1947” and the minute he said it I thought, “I think God is saying something to me.”

“I think Denis, I don’t know if God uses you like this, I think he used you as a prophetic voice – and I want you to know that. So what came into my head was – “the Smith Wigglesworth prophecy of 1947”.

“I mentioned it the other day, and I turned to Pauline and said, “Did Smith Wigglesworth prophesy his prophecy in 1947?”, and she said, “I don’t know but I was born in 1947.”

“So I looked it up on the internet. I don’t – a very controversial thing to say about us Pentecostals – I’m not mad keen on Smith Wigglesworth. I think he was a bit of an odd bod myself! I am not sure I would let him preach at Gold Hill, I certainly would not let him pray for the sick – no way. (Malcolm made some boxing noises at this point – see RB’s comments post) – but I believe he was a man of God. Just as well God doesn’t need my approval to use people isn’t it?

“But as soon as I heard Denis I thought of the Smith Wigglesworth prophecy, which was very unusual for me and made me think – “What are you saying Lord?”. I went back and I read it again and thought – “There is something stirring in my spirit here.” That prophecy had several stages, some of you will know it, you will find it on the internet – an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the birthing of new churches and then the churches come together in Word and Spirit, and then the decline of churches – and then a fresh move of the Holy Spirit – going out into continental Europe. “I don’t talk like this. I’m a Bible expositor, I am a theologian. I don’t talk like this.

“I thought, “Is God saying something with these two things?”. The 50th year after Jean Darnall’s prophecy, a year of jubilee. The 70th year after Smith Wigglesworth prophecy, just like there were 70 years of captivity for Israel – and I don’t want to overstate this because I am trying to stay grounded in all of this – but I feel like Daniel must have felt like when he found Jeremiah’s promise after 70 years and said, after 70 years I am going to do something.

“I lead Spring Harvest and for three years I have been working on an act of unity across the United Kingdom that will see all of the evangelical bible conventions and celebrations declaring that whatever our theological differences are, we are one in Christ Jesus. It is going to involve 130,000 Christians from March through to October next year – perhaps as many as a quarter of a million. It will begin with Spring Harvest and end with the Festival of Life, perhaps the biggest gathering of Christians in Britain in the Excel Centre in October. They are all on board.

“It will be the biggest demonstration of Christian unity that we have seen in the evangelical church in the United Kingdom for almost two hundred years – and they’ve all said “Yes” – there’s the miracle! They’re all on board, and I am sure the Bible says,

“Where the brethren dwell together in unity, the Lord commands a blessing.”

“2017 is also the 500th anniversary of the reformation. Martin Luther’s moment on October 31st 1517, when he nailed 95 theses to the gate at Wittenberg and said, “I have questions about where we are going”.

“I think 2017 is a significant year, and I believe we are going to see a move of God in the United Kingdom in 2017 and I believe God is asking us to get ready. He is asking us to raise our faith and expectation, to raise our commitment to prayer, to raise our eyes off what we are seeing around us, to take our eyes off the feeling and the falling and the decaying and to lift our eyes to him; and I think that move of God is going to have six significant elements to it.:

1. The first is that he will expose the hearts of those in our churches who currently have been ‘churched’ but not converted; Christians but not converted.

2. He will strengthen the hearts of those who love Christ, and I think strategically in that are people like Justin Welby and Pope Francis. I think that God is using these men and that there are some remarkable leaders in the Anglican Church, some remarkable leaders in the established churches, who are discovering new confidence, new passion, new energy for the Gospel and I think the hearts of those who love Christ will be strengthened in 2017 in a particular way.

3. I think God is going to revive and strengthen small local churches, that He is going to give new confidence and hope and purpose and meaning to what you and I would describe as ordinary church. That it is not going to the big central churches with thousands in them that will herald what God wants to do, but it will be a birthing of new hope and energy and expectation and passion in small local congregations. I don’t think it will end in 2017; it will start in 2017.

4. I think that God is going to give us a fresh confidence in the Gospel. I think that God is going to give us a fresh openness to the Holy Spirit, as we delve into His Word.

5. God is going to give the broader Church a deeper yearning for prayer for the nation and the lost.

6. Lastly, God is to birth a passion for the gospel to spread from the United Kingdom across the continent of Europe.

“However He does it, I think there are three keys, the three steps in what I sense God is saying are very simple – these are to:

  • Come before Him in repentance
  • Come before Him in dependence
  • Come before Him in authenticity

“I don’t think it is going to be a signs and wonders movement. I don’t think it is going to be all bells and all whistles. I think this is going to be the birthing of people living authentic lives in God. Lives that will be attractional (sic) to others and I think that God wants to birth something here that will spread across Europe and I think that you are privileged, not to listen to me, but I think you are privileged to be in this room, and I think you need to take that seriously and decide if you will sow in faith and prophetically call a movement of the Holy Spirit into life that He is waiting for us to respond to.”

The WPC requests our studying this word, praying into it to bring it into Father’s presence. Feel free to share it prayerfully with others. Ask the question, “Lord, what are you calling me to do? Show me your heart for my town/neighbourhood/workplace/ community”. We are being called to get ready – and come before God in repentance, dependence and authenticity.

Join WPC in praying, “Come Holy Spirit, in power, grace, and holiness – I open myself to you. Use me, prepare your church and change this nation. Amen”

An invisible jigsaw’s prophetic pieces are coming together

‘God-incidences’ are quickening! After the recent note from Thomas Harry, I’m learning about others being reminded of the visions the Lord gave Smith Wigglesworth and Jean Darnall decades ago about His plans for the Kingdom across Britain.

In the cyber-deluge deposited in Monday’s in-tray was April’s ‘Ezine’ from Hugh and Ginny Cryer (whom I introduced last June in connection with the prophetic words on Unity and on the UK brought by Heidi Baker and Cindy Jacobs). This month’s edition of Culture Changers Connecting You has a couple of pertinent reports, the first of which reads:

Visions Unfolding

Many of us are aware that Asuza Now starts on 9th April.  It is the 100th anniversary of the original Asuza Revival.  It’s theme is ‘Unity’ and it is a good reminder that our Dad doesn’t want us to pick sides but pick Him!  There is obviously only One Church and He will build it.

As well as Asuza Now, next year is also the fiftieth anniversary of Jean Darnall’s famous prophecy. Here is part of it.:

“And what I saw was the British Isles, as in a bird’s eye view. A kind of haze was over the whole, like a green fog.   And then little pinpricks of light began to appear from the top of Scotland to Land’s End. Then the Lord seemed to draw me closer to these lights, and I saw that they were fires that were burning. They were multiplying from the top of Scotland to Land’s End. Then I saw lightening come and strike those fires, the brightest spots particularly, and there was a kind of explosion, and rivers of fire flowed down….

“The Lord impressed it on my Heart that those fires I saw were groups of people whom He would make intensely hungry for New Testament Christianity. They would start reading their Bibles and saying, for instance, as they read the book of Acts, ‘Well, where is this happy church? Where are these people so full of the power of the Holy Spirit? Where are these miracles? Where is this growth, this vitality, this courage, this boldness that these people had? Is that for today – can we have it today? Should the church be this way?’.”

Homefires_130335With the above in mind, I want to share with you something that happened in our home one Spring morning in  2014 – when our wood burner spontaneously caught fire!   We asked the Lord what He was saying to us through this and believe He was confirming to us that the Holy Spirit, himself, will light spiritual fires in homes around the nations. Three weeks later, I woke up to hear the words “Keep the Home Fires Burning!” as we prepared for a gathering later that day.  Significantly Pam Bugden then arrived with the card pictured above.

Our homes can be outposts of heaven –  houses that have the potential to change the world around them.   Homes where we meet together with Him in an interactive way where everyone participates as we share our concerns for one another and our love for Him.  Homes where there is corporate responsibility.   Homes where an official leader is not demoted – but rather everyone else is promoted and Jesus is our Head.  Homes where we hear and obey His voice, regardless of our comfort zones, as we follow Mary’s wise words in John 2:5 when she said, “Whatever He says to you – do it!”   Homes that represent all the generations as we share our strengths and shore up our weaknesses.  Safe Places where the home fires are burning.

Visions in UK and Oz of Holy Fire falling on USA

A week ago today Lana Vawser, whose messages have been featured by the Australian Prophetic Council, blogged:

“This morning I had a vision and I was taken up above the United States of America and I could see the enemy and demonic forces with all his schemes and plots to stir up darkness across the United States.
“As I am watching the enemy and his demons attempting to stir up these whirlwinds of darkness across the nation, suddenly my vision became very focused and ‘zoomed’ in.
“I saw children kneeling beside their bed crying out to Jesus on behalf of their nation. I watched as the children prayed and I saw Jesus standing beside them. They were having encounters with Jesus and the Lord was sharing messages from His heart concerning the heart of the nation….’

Continue reading in United States of America – Surprised by Fire, wherein Lana ‘then saw other lights flickering and appearing all across the USA. These were youth and adults and they were praying for the nation and seeking the heart of God.

“Suddenly there was a thunderous roar from heaven and I saw fire falling and it was sweeping through all the areas where these flickering lights were. It was a rapid move of His fire. As the fire of God swept through…“

Yesterday I learned about a prophetic word brought by Irene Brooks in Horsham, England, relating to previous words/dreams on wells/rivers of Holy Spirit’s water. AND she confirms the above word from Lana by writing,

“I was praying for the USA one morning when I saw a wonderful, huge explosion of multi-colored sparks scattering over all the nations of the earth. It looked like a great firework display with its epicenter in the heart of the nation, in Kansas, but it was drawing in people from across the US…”

Prophetic points sensed during Holy Week – Jean Darnall Vision #1

Thomas Harry, compiler of ‘Word for 2016 – New Season – Building on the Apostolic & Prophetic’ (as blogged here) contacted me about inklings he’s been sensing. The first relates to the vision Jean Darnall received in 1967, which she recounts as follows:

Jean Darnall“…And what I saw was the British Isles, as in a bird’s eye view. A kind of haze was over the whole, like a green fog. And then little pinpricks of light began to appear from the top of Scotland to Land’s End. Then the Lord seemed to draw me closer to these lights, and I saw that they were fires that were burning. They were multiplying from the top of Scotland to Land’s End. Again, the sense of direction was from the top of Scotland to Land’s End. But some of those rivers of fire didn’t stop there. They went right across the Channel and didn’t stop there. They went right across the Channel and spread out into the Continent….”

And so Thomas writes:

‘Just thought I would share 2 things I came across these last few days.

‘I had been feeling that we will soon see the outbreak of the move of the Spirit we are all believing for and then read this from Jean Darnall and felt it was a case of “Phase One begins”: [to read full account click on this sub-head]

Phase One: The Glowing Fires

The Lord impressed it on my Heart that those fires I saw were groups of people whom He would make intensely hungry for New Testament Christianity. They would start reading their Bibles and saying, for instance, as they read the book of Acts, ‘Well, where is this happy church? Where are these people so full of the power of the Holy Spirit? Where are these miracles? Where is this growth, this vitality, this courage, this boldness that these people had? Is that for today – can we have it today? Should the church be this way?’

And as these questions were being planted in their hearts, the Lord Jesus said He would make them very hungry for the Holy Spirit; He would fill them with the Holy Spirit, and out of those gifts would flow ministries that would enrich the Body of Christ. The whole concept of the Body of Christ would come alive, and barriers between denominations and different types of Christians would break down as people met each other. The Lord said He would move these people all over the country. After he had taught them gifts, he would move them to another place where they would carry that fire, and where they would meet others also who were being renewed by the Holy Spirit. He would put them in different situations from what they were used to, so that they would get to know people of other denominations, other cultures and other classes, and be able to communicate to them the blessings that the Lord had given them. And then He told me that during that time He would also test them. There would be great testing of faith, great waiting times. He would teach them spiritual warfare. He would show them the meaning of the power of the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

The New Wine Will Be Found in the Cluster

This is not like the past where the thought was, “Let’s all go to Pensacola, or Toronto, or Lakeland, or Kansas City, or Charlotte, London, Redding, Brazil, or South Africa.” No! Instead the Holy Spirit is moving upon many geographical locations, many congregations and ministries, with great diversity and empowerment all at the same time! Praise the Lord!

Isaiah 65:8 Thus says the Lord, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it’…”

This is a fresh form of team ministry today! What I am seeing taking place in these new moves of the Holy Spirit breaking out is something different. It is not centered around one person. It is not centered around one church or ministry. It is not centered around one geographical sphere. It is not centered around just one apostolic hub. It is not centered around one manifestation. It is a time of both new wine and new wineskins. Mark 2:22 states, “No one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins.” It is a time when prophetic revelation cooperates with apostolic application.

These times require a fresh understanding of covenant relationships and community as this generation arises out of self-centered individualistic ministry mindsets and seeks the common good of the Body of Christ. Divine Alliances are being formed resulting in greater progress being accomplished.

This fresh work of the Holy Spirit is occurring as the “cluster anointing” comes to pass when the new wine skins are formed to hold and pour out the new wine of His contagious presence.’

Wave

This New Wine carries with it the Best of ingredients of the Past to usher us into the Greater Presence and Anointing. The ingredients include the manifestation of the Pentecostal Fire, the Healing and Deliverance Crusades, the Latter Rain Glory Realm, the Evangelical Burden for the Lost, the Charismatic Gifts, the Jesus People Zeal, the Third Wave Theological Credibility, the Revelation of the Prophetic Movement and the relational networking of the Apostolic Reformation.

These graces shall all merge together into a tidal wave that will be greater than the impact of the “Great Reformation” of 500 years ago. We are living in the times of the beginning of a historic 4th Wave carrying the distinctive of “transformation.” We will shift from a short-timers mind-set into building in such a manner that we leave behind a lineage and legacy

This will ultimately create what could be called The Great Transformation.

Today we are living in the “Convergence of the Ages.” The Holy Spirit is taking the best of all the anointing of the movements of the past and bringing these ingredients together for such a time as this. Today we have the greatest Global Prayer Movement, Schools of the Supernatural abound, we have Fathers and Mothers and Grandfathers and Grandmothers of the faith to help guide the coming generations. Today we have “new wine” and “new wineskins” prepared for the Harvest!

It is Harvest Time once again. Let’s believe that something greater than the Jesus People Movement is coming forth. It is the time for the Joining of the Generations. It is time! ]

Since posting Not blogging but the Lord confirms the current theme last October, I’ve been increasingly reminded of those spiritual fires. I didn’t know that the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation had reverted to quoting its founder Bishop Morris Maddocks’ objective of 30 years ago, namely: 

‘Igniting beacons of Healing and Wholeness’!

I’d been entirely ignorant of all that when I’d been prompted to introduce myself a year ago to the new director Revd Wes Sutton, and hesitatingly share some prophetical visions and notions, including a possible relevance of the Jean Darnall vision. He told me not only did Acorn’s founder have that vision in mind, but also that their incumbent chaplain had ministered with Jean many years ago!

Resurrection Sunday prophecy of a new season

An hour before sunrise last Sunday (had it been the previous day that would have been already happening!), Simon Braker writes in School of the Prophetic Leicester…

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said –

It is no coincidence that resurrection Sunday falls on the same day as the clocks change in the UK for British summer time, for surely the long winter in my church in this land is over and a new season is upon you, the season of singing has come, the resurrection song of the lamb is over this land,

For even as the first signs of Spring are beginning to break forth in the natural, so the first signs of a new Spring has begun in my church and in this Land, for I say to you,

as the season has shifted in the natural so it has shifted in the spiritual,
The spring rains of my Spirit have started a fresh outpouring of my Spirit has begun,

Watch and see, this year is a land mark year a staging post a crossing over point out of the old and into the new,

I then saw drops of water falling upon blotting paper once these drops hit they spread across the paper until it was saturated, then I saw it was a map of the UK.

The Lord said – I have entrance points being built all over this land where my Spirit has already began to breakout these will multiply and grow,

It will not be contained by stream or denomination but every place that hungry and thirsty people gather I will come!
If you will make space and put down your plans I will come!
If you will humble your hearts I will come!
If you will simply gather I will come!
And if you will go I shall come!

This refreshing is not just for my church but for this whole land,
In this season there will be stories of my Spirit breaking out in work place, classroom, on streets and in churches in every place people are!

Flying puzzles - Nokhoog BuchachonLike snowflakes three more pieces of the ‘invisible jigsaw’ gently waft down, yet remain unsuspected. They’re noticed only when they settle and although single, sit side-by side as though fitting like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.

Saturday: Dominic McDermott commented as follows on the re-post of Patsy Southway, Re-opening the Wells:

‘I have heard “unblock the wells!” a number of times from the Lord over the years but recently especially in relation to the Celtic anointing that he poured on these British Isles around 1700 years ago. We are a small lay community in the Catholic church looking to express some Celtic elements of our spirituality. I work/minister in a prison and a few years ago on a lawn there God had spoken about some new grass shoots springing up which will become a whole lawn of new things in the land, but these shoots had in reality only grown poorly through lack of water.

‘Then on 6/10/15 the grass there began to spring up tall and lush as an underground pipe had burst under the lawn and watered it and ran off down the hill as a stream down the road up to the prison. The Lord called me to go and look at this leak as contractors had dug a hole to expose the pipe so it could be mended. What I saw was a 1.5 metre deep hole which was now a pool of crystal clear water roiling slightly in the centre over the hole in the pipe. The water had washed away all the dirty water and continued to flow down the hill.

‘I understood that this represents the Celtic anointing which had been poured out to evangelise these once pagan islands and which has been buried for centuries but is now being released for us again now that the land has returned to a new pagan darkness. This clear and fresh revelation and anointing will see many new communities spring up with a Celtic spirituality, with an understanding and wisdom coming from the north of England where this anointing has first been released as the Upper Springs and we as the Nether (lower) springs (Judges 1/14-15) and will spread quickly into Europe as a source of revival of the ancient and dying churches.’

This is particularly interesting in view of a dream signifying a connection between the ancient Celtic foundations of the church across Britain and a renewal of belief within traditional churches (Confirmation of 2016’s Prophetic Words for a New Season).

Sunday: Arriving late by agreement from a pre-arranged event we quietly enter the chapel where holy communion and anointing of celebrants is taking place. It is no normal service but part of a weekend course exploring Christian healing, thus training some for this foundation’s ministry team. The Holy Spirit’s powerful presence can be sensed right away – and I almost see the presence of some holy witnesses from time immemorial. I’m reminded of when we visited the lower chapel of St Basil (‘The Great’ 4th Century Cappadocian Father and doctor of the Church) in Basilica of the Holy Blood in Bruges and I almost went back centuries to Jerusalem; Nina wept in the power from centuries of prayer vigils focussed upon The Passion.)

Monday: From Glasgow I receive today’s Lion Bite!:

SPRINGS OF LIFE

‘I am releasing my springs of life in the dry place. Where you sought to establish my kingdom and have dug a well in a desolate place, but have found rock instead of water and death instead of life, I am now causing my springs of life to bubble up and begin to overflow in these wells.

‘With my springs of life will come abundance and blessings and you will see breakthrough. My kingdom will be established in these formerly desolate places. Watch and see as my grace begins to overflow and see my glory abound more than you had ever hoped for. Blessed are you that dug deep in my name, your faithfulness shall be rewarded.’

Isaiah 44:3
For I will pour out water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry place; I will pour out my spirit upon your offspring and my blessings on your descendants.

NB: in my opinion, timing and similarity of topics between both words, as well as the resonance between the contrasts stressed, clearly indicates the Lord’s drawing our attention to what He’s saying and doing.

In particular, Dominic’s encouraging insight contrasts with prison authorities’ outrageous censorship of minister Barry Trayhorn’s biblical teaching within a prison chapel AND of BBC’s wicked slandering of scripture and scandalously reprehensible treatment of Revd Trayhorn, as reported here by Christian Concern.
