Mary’s brief yet astounding encounter never ever fails to stir me deep within. Thank you very much Tembisa for this disciple’s insight into its direct connection with Jesus’ return. I cannot but reblog this… [After reading you may wish to read The Beautiful Journey.]

Honouring one another
Such an appropriate date for Sharanelle to have posted this. Bill Johnson of Bethel Church often teaches on the importance of honouring one another as one aspect of Kingdom culture – heaven on earth.
Not Happenin' On My Watch | Blog
How would our world be different if each of us practiced honoring one another? That is, if we each held the other in high esteem, what would our homes, churches, schools, offices, and government look like? How would this practice affect the behavior of the next person? We are told to honor our parents (Eph. 6:2), and that our days will be long upon the earth (Ex. 20:12). What if we extended
this beyond our parents and simply showed high regard for our brother’s feelings, validated their concerns, and genuinely cared about what the next person was going through… so much so that we came alongside to help when possible? Obviously, we’d use wisdom… but then again, if we’re honoring one another, we wouldn’t abuse friendships and relationships. What if we, the church universal, truly interceded for our sisters, brothers, and friends? … not just the faithful two and few…

Oh, and there’s this, and this…(ie. PS)
Please may I draw your attention to:
1. A regular contributor’s comment upon European financial encroachment – I’d hoped someone would ‘twig’! Click here and scroll to comments below post.
2. In view of the latest controversy, readers in the States may like to petition president Obama to stand by Israel. Also, in the opinion of Caroline Glick (here), the 9/11 attacks on US embassies in Libya and Egypt weren’t about a film. She claims it was screened on a Salafist tv channel by people pres Morsi released from prison – and Obama will see him rather than the leader of USA’s long-time ally! An odd choice for friends is it not? But then he did want the MB present at his speech in Cairo (see here).
3. Re. 4,500 away, we caught up last night with Nathan’s visit to Louisiana a week after hurricane Isaac. There he warned that a much greater storm’s coming, a spiritual one also because The King Is Coming! [Click to watch this at 1hr54m30 – see these posts too; Why I’m watching, Get Ready and Watch.] UPDATE: New Orleans needs to watch out and take this very seriously now the police are suppressing free speech and arresting street preachers, as well as threatening churches – see Christian News (thank you Tembisa at Church on Fire).
We felt it 4,500 miles away!
4,500 miles – that’s a quarter of the way around the world! The British boy was at his best under the ‘unction of the Holy Spirit’, ie., the anointing from God Most High to preach and teach the Gospel with the power of His Spirit, as he spoke about ‘Divine Exchange’. Most of the large congregation had, in fact, already ascended in worship and found ‘fullness of joy’ in His presence, which was strongly felt throughout the 3 hour-long service!
Late Sunday afternoons here in Hampshire, England, we go to church in Mobile, AL, USA, for a morning service, as do thousands of other online members of Church of His Presence. On Sunday, English evangelist Nathan Morris reported healing miracles had happened when the Bay Revival team recently went to Lake Charles, Louisiana, a week after hurricane Isaac’s visit.
(PS. whilst there Nathan warned a much greater, more severe storm’s coming – The King Is Coming! Click to watch message; read these posts too – Watch, Get Ready.)
Soon after many there repented, Nathan had a prophetic word about someone’s health, “degenerative disease in the kidneys” (ie. kidney failure). A lady with a 6 months-old baby yells as he quips, “The preachers weren’t watching, but the Son of God is!” and what happened next is most wonderful. If you too would like to know – and see – then carry on reading:
Listen to Nathan’s account and then watch it happen as he plays two video clips to the congregation. [Click on ‘play triangle’ and as it loads click on grey bar to advance play, speed depends upon your broadband speed.] Nathan starts telling about this miracle at 1hr12min30 and the video section of baby Jeremiah’s healing starts at 1:18:00….at 1:21:30 it changes to the next day’s meeting for an account of the boy’s severe medical status by his exurberant mother as she tells about that morning’s astonishing results of his creatinine blood test…praise the Lord!
At 1:36:00 a ‘live’ testimony is given for the Lord’s healing of terminal colon cancer and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. What is remarkable is that the patient was one of a very, very tiny group of people without a specific enzyme which adversely affects chemotherapy. The Lord directed her to search on the internet to find out about this (1:40:00). She got in touch with chat rooms and therefore insisted doctors test her before treatment. Thus they discovered that she was one of this rare, at-risk group!
Divine Exchange
After a strong admonition (at 1:45:00) and exhortation to that nation (US) and to young people, Nathan ends with an unexpected brief word about faith in anyone other than Jesus Christ, and says, “I don’t know where that came from, it’s not my message!”
At 1:50:50 he begins an exceptional message on coming into God’s presence and the signs of the Kingdom, as exemplified in those healings, teaching from the Biblical books of Hebrews and Exodus. Any summary would fail to do justice or convey it properly – it needs to be heard and entered into. Are you able to do so?
Drawing to a close Nathan recounts the drummer / youth pastor told him how amazed he was when a blind eye opened as he prayed. Nathan then exclaimed,
He was so full of it – he was rejoicing – and I looked at him and thought, “Son, you’d better get ready, because if you keep having a divine exchange with God, blind eyes will be nothing – He’ll show you things that will blow your mind!!“
He went on (2:27:00):
Before I knew you were worshiping, I could feel it in my spirit. Normally I can’t hear you in the back room but I heard something…and said so to the pastor…I could feel it because there’s something that happens when the Body of Christ joins in one accord to – we enter the Throne Room where divine exchange takes place!”
Everyone re-entered worship and even across the ‘pond’, here in the UK – a quarter of the world away – we too felt the strong, undeniable touch of precious Holy Spirit as His fire fell once again in Alabama.
And why ever not? After all God’s Spirit is present in all those who believe in the one He sent – Jesus Christ. In our human spirits there’s no separation whatsoever from Him or from the fellowship of His Body.
Update 1 of 3 – on healing
Readers interested in healing and miracles may wish to know that I’ve updated the header page God Heals Today! with details on the following items:
- encouragement from ‘Journey of Hope’, a deep story of bereavement by a fellow reader from north east India, between Bangladesh and Myanmar (Burma).
- the latest blog from Australia on ‘Miracles, evidence and scepticism’. (This is also a good place from which to start considering the question of divine healing. Its site Is There a God? is very helpful for those investigating the big questions of life.)

Abide in Christ
Says it all Lisa. Thank you for an excellent summary of the heart of discipleship and which is implicit in Jesus’ commission of His disciples to, “Go, therefore,..teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always – even to the end of the Age.”
Lord, may all our political leaders desire to abide in You. Amen
In order for the Father to conform us to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29), we must abide in Christ. What does it mean to abide? It means to remain, rest, stay, wait, and continue. (See the concordance definition) Abiding in Christ, then, involves waiting upon the Lord and entering into His peace. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without [separately, apart from] me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5). Just as a branch draws its life-source from the vine, believers must stay connected to…

Who are the Jewish people expecting…?
Did the abrupt closure of a recent posting leave you feeling suspended? It unexpectedly switched from considering Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameini’s declaration on the expected appearance of their Mahdi, or hidden imam, to that of the equivalent in Judaism – Ha Mashiyach (the consecrated priest-king) – as follows:
Meanwhile…on one of Israel’s largest websites, Ynet, a banner was broadcast proclaiming the coming of the Messiah!
The report quoting this news states the source of this proclamation is not known:
“The Messiah is in Israel. This will be the last government of Israel.”
I have since discussed with a friend based at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and he is of the opinion that this announcement probably came from the American Sid Roth, Christian host of a TV series upon the supernatural and scriptural events. But, he advises, Sid’s method is not the best way of getting the attention of Israelis.
My friend reminded me that one of Israel’s most prominent rabbis, Yitzak Kaduri, is reputed to have met the famous Messiah whom Jews have been expecting for millenia. Shortly before he died in January 2006 aged 108, Kaduri wrote the name of the Messiah by means of a simple acrostic code using the Hebrew alphabet, as do the first letter of each line of Psalm 119. This code was written in a small note, which he requested should stay sealed for a specific period.
This link to Yeshua Ha’Meshiach Ministries provides a detailed account of what happened. Also, you may learn about it on this video from evangelistic YouTube ministry PPSimmons, which is famous for having gone viral upon its launch.
Be mightily blessed…
The Lord’s Prayer
Most uplifting and, in my humble opinion, a fitting addition to what Jesus said about this model prayer – He stressed that we can actually hinder and prevent Father forgiving us as an individual because of unforgiveness towards those who’ve hurt us! (Matt 6:14-15). How rapidly the decision to forgive can bring even physical healing, as Nina discovered (see testimony). See also Khamneithang’s moving personal story Journey of Hope.
I cannot say…..
“Our” – if I live only for myself.
“Father” – if I do not endeavor each day to act like his child.
“Who art in heaven” – if I am laying up no treasure there.
“Hallowed be thy name” – if I am not striving for holiness.
“Thy Kingdom come” – if I am not doing all in my power to hasten that wonderful event.
“Thy will be done” – if I am disobedient to his Word.
“On earth as it is in heaven” – if I do not serve him here and now.
“Give us this day our daily bread” – if I am dishonest or am seeking things by subterfuge.
“Forgive us our debts” – if I harbor a grudge against anyone.
“Lead us not into temptation” –…

The Blood of Jesus Christ
The following transcript is offered for use as a prayer and declaration over our nations:
“…We come that we may seek Your face, Lord. We are not here by accident but You have ordained it…we stand and we wait for You. Come in all Thy Glory – we are bold enough to say, “Show us Oh Lord, show us Your glory! – show us Your glory! God send Your glory”…The nations are joining us because all around the world people are crying out in this hour, “God, send Your glory, we need You Lord…we need You God to save a generation…to get a hold on our sons that are in rebellion…our daughters that are lost”. [Amen]
“I want to tell you Church” continued Nathan, “That we’ve been silent too long…we’ve been silent too long. While hell is seeking to encamp around America, the Church has been silent too long!
“Send Your glory and The Holy Ghost…AND FIRE…my God, my God…something’s happening right now! You may not like this, but the Church without fire is impotent. When the fire of God, the fire of the Holy Ghost falls as it did in that upper room…falls upon the Church, then we are a nightmare to the enemy!!…Oh God, send the Fire!
“Now, we’re too civilised…we want to put The Holy Ghost in a box!…the glory in a box!! I want to tell you the glory of my God once dwelt between the cherubim on a box and He isn’t going back there again. NOW, He dwells in the hearts of men who hunger and thirst after Him!… Send the fire, send the fire…
“Jesus, what are you doing right now Lord…I feel the power of God starting to break through…people say I shout, but I’m telling you, for the hour in which we’re living in, somebody needs to shout, to shout it from the rooftops that:
“the blood of Jesus has lost NONE of its power!! Oh the blood…the blood has lost NONE of its power!”
Thus petitoned and proclaimed English evangelist Nathan Morris to thousands assembled 9 miles south of the White House and Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. on Thursday 19th July. And then he goes into usual power-preaching mode.:
“When the fire of God fell on me it wasn’t in a church building but on my own on a living room floor. I shook for three hours under the glory of God [he then speaks about the start of his vocation]…I’m tired of this wishy-washy Gospel that says we can come to God any old how, we can do what we want Monday to Friday and Sunday we put on our ‘best’ and come like we’re a saint.
“My God…I want to tell you, there’s a call to holiness. The fire of God will NOT dwell in wishy-washy preaching. The Church doesn’t need wishy-washy ministers…
“We need to preach the blood, the cross, the Holy Ghost fire, repentance, holiness. The day that God sees there are men and women that reverence this place is the day that He will return to the pulpit again…”
[Nathan briefly tells how this brought many healings in Africa, even to the dying.]
“But oh, if we would get back to the Gospel Jesus preached, if we would get back to our knees again…God still heals, He still saves, He still delivers [alleluyah!]
“America, nations of the world, there is a God of eternity who rules and reigns with power…of His dominion and of His Kingdom there is no end…
“I want to tell you and I say this with all reverence, and it doesn’t matter who is in the White House, let me tell you one thing:
“When the Church of Jesus Christ stand under the glory of God there is no leader, no power, no government, that will shake what God says to a nation – it SHALL come to pass!!
“Do you think Delia Knox coming out of a wheelchair was a problem to God? It didn’t even flinch him! What a mighty God we serve!…” (For her healing, see video clips.)

[It’s interesting that Christen Forster mentioned this kind of preaching during his summary of the listening prayer-time in Westminster – see here. ALSO, one of a number of thoughtful posts in Life’s Little Slices emphasises this topic.]
Earlier Rev John Kilpatrick was greeted and honoured by a local bishop and leaders at the National Church of God at Fort Washington, MD. Two had previously invited the rivalist team to Silver Spring on the north side of Washington. That was in the days leading into US’ National Prayer Day on 5th May – AND it goes without saying that first evening of repentance by thousands was very different to politically convened events.
To be stirred and blessed, run this video and listen to Nathan speaking as above at 2hrs into the meeting AND what Bishop Harry Jackson says at 1hr8min about events related to that earlier conference in DC is, in my humble opinion, important for the USA.:

Ready for His Return
Wise, warm words of warning from a sister on watch. The second letter of Peter was perhaps the last to be accepted into the canon of the New Testament, possibly over a question of authenticity. As may be inferred from my comments, I’m personally convinced that it was inspired by the Holy Spirit. So be blessed as you read….
Not Happenin' On My Watch | Blog
As I read through the second epistle of Peter, third chapter, I note that it is full of warnings–what to look for, what will happen, how to live in light of it all. Warnings come to prepare us, as well as to caution us. Not only did I note the warnings, however, but I also gained a sense of
solace in several of the verses. In the end, we are compelled to “… grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (II Pet. 3:18).” There’s much to be said about growing in knowledge, especially in light of the fact that we’re told that in the last days there will be those who mock the Word and the promise of His coming (Christ’s return). If we are ignorant of the Word, we will easily be turned away from the very Gospel that we confess…

Healing in Parliament
In view of developments in Christian activity in Parliament (eg. see Listening to Jesus in the Palace of Westminster), my weekend was blessed upon receipt of news from Paul Skelton of a presentation in Parliament upon the work of Healing On The Streets. He mentions the intriguing fact that Prime Minister’s Question Time had just taken place – thank you Paul for linking to my post for this. (See also reblog of Gillan Scott’s in-depth analysis.)
(Regular readers may recall my recent report of Christen Forster’s comment upon the growth of HOTS being faster than that of the Alpha course – see latest announcement.)
HOTS’ full update is as follows:
HOTS becomes ‘HIP’ – Healings inside Parliament
“Following on from the many opportunities that have opened up as a result of the recent promotion of Hots Bath by the ASA, this week both our Chair (Rev Steve Hughes) and myself had an incredible chance to both give a presentation about the work in Bath and also to release healing within the four walls of Parliament itself.
“This God-given invitation had come via Timothy Webb on behalf of Prayer for Parlia-ment and is key in building relationships with Christian MPs and equipping the body at large in an informed way, to help us pray for our leaders and be a voice in our land.
“It is fascinating to me to see how Jesus can take any situation which at first glance may look daunting and to see what He brings out of it.
“So, in a packed parliamentary committee room of around 80 people which included a couple of MPs, we shared on God’s Goodness and told stories of the Healings that we are seeing in our City and beyond, as well as Father’s desire to encounter those on the streets of our nation.
“I had written out a few notes that I thought I would use, but in true Luke 12 style, I can now say that He clearly gave the words as He promised He would in these situations, as well as the ability to make prophetic declarations about revival for our Nation and for us to release Healing into the atmosphere.
“As we did so, there were 2 reports immediate (sic) of backs which had been healed when we took Authority and a lady testified to something happening in her knee.
“Due to the shortness of time, it was hard to get feedback to the fullness of what the Holy Spirit was doing in that moment, but it was evident to all in the room that God had just healed people and was continuing to do so.
“We were also encouraged that only just 2 hours earlier, when David Cameron was questioned in PM Question Time about the case of the lady sacked because she had worn a cross to work, he had announced – “then we will change the law and make clear that people can wear religious symbols at work.”
“As Beni Jenson would say “Shift happens”. [Intercessor i/c Bethel Prayer House.]
Releasing Healing to the Nations
“This has been a busy year for us internationally with already 3 mission trips undertaken:- one to Africa (by invitation of David and Faith Dalley), India and Slovakia, as well as a brief explosion of healing while on holiday in Spain recently in the local church there.
“We are also training in Switzerland and in Venezuela (by invitation of In-courage), and are in the process of lining up potential trips to Turkey and Amsterdam.
“It has always been our policy not to fundraise but instead to let Father bring the resources to fulfil what He has called us to. If you feel you would like to be part of this resourcing and become a Benefactor of Hots Bath, please do contact us or simply clickhere.”
Paws-4-thought: a special town in the Thames Valley?
Yet again – right place, right time. Some may think it ‘spooky’ – but please, it’s definitely not some sort of boast. Maybe, it’s just that I’m alert to these kind of things, or perhaps it’s a gift of discernment. Whatever it is, it’s far too frequent to be my imagination, especially as actual physical events are involved. My last few postings considered a strange series of serendipity which ended up being validated by yet another ‘coincidence’! So, would you bear with me once again?
Last Saturday
I attended a day’s teaching led by Christen Forster, senior leader of River Church in Maidenhead, at The Emmanuel Centre, Marsham Street, Westminster. He spoke about authority, power and control in the Church and in the world.
I was particularly interested to learn the outcome of a recent gathering of about 90 senior leaders from church, commerce, culture and politics who met in St Mary’s Undercroft directly beneath the House of Commons. They’d listened to Jesus in silence for an hour and then fedback what they felt He was saying to the nation.
As Christen reports in his blog:
This was a historic event and at the same time a single step in a flow of developments putting the Word and Presence of God back into the Foundation of the United Kingdom. On the floor in the middle of the corridor that divides the House of Commons from the House of Lords there is a Latin inscription. In translation it read…
“Lest the Lord builds the house, those who labour do so in vain…”Words that remind us that despite the Godless direction of so much policy conceived and enacted at Westminster today, the roots of authority in the UK are in the word and presence of God.
(click on Listening to Jesus in the Palace of Westminster.)
He said that the listening-prayer time under Parliament was unique and it had started and closed with the ringing of a bell – where’ve we heard about that before? (here and here). Yet even more remarkable was the consistency of the spirit and themes. There was weight and authority in what God is saying yet, being nationally-relevant, it is quite broad. Even so, some points could be applied to us as individuals.
Of the many points I was impressed with the recognition that the nation is reaping the consequences of our moral collapse. Also, divisions and death in the nation have reflected those between/within the body of Christ. The church must, therefore, be changed, improved and rebuilt and not hold back in proclaiming the Gospel. As a nation we should recall and build upon the former solid foundations of Christianity. The whole report will verified, signed and published in due course. (Initial overview now available here.)
Next week, there will be a follow-up evening of prophetic prayer for Parliament and government at The Emmanuel Centre (see Kingdom Come).
NOW, I was surprised that Christen briefly referred to two other matters for they are relevant to this blog’s recent posts.:
- Healing On The Streets is taking off faster than did the Alpha course!
- “Windsor and Westminster” are important in what the Lord is doing!
- Jesus is moving evangelists into focussing upon proclaiming the Cross.
[This last from my notes was reserved but is added for cross-referencing here! – 25/7.]
Where did we last encounter a Godly reference to Windsor? – the previous post. And the next day at a church we’d been invited to, this royal town on the river Thames cropped up in the pastor’s conversation about the vision for starting that church! So, serendipity strikes yet again!! Therefore, it really must be of God.
But there’s much more. Here’s what I talked about with Dr Sharon Stone during a conference in February:
After talking about her class in Windsor an image of its Castle’s famous round tower came to mind. This was followed by the notion that its crenellated battlements looked like the teeth of a giant cogwheel which could fit into some sort of invisible socket where earth could get plugged into heaven.
It’s a little hard to explain but then the thought dropped into mind that such engagement would enable the heavenly kingdom to ‘wind up’ our earthly kingdom – or ‘queen-dom’ – for the Lord’s purposes (eg. revival) – rather like putting a key into and winding up a clockwork toy.
Combine all that with this unique photo Alan May took (original link removed as demand crashed website but see copy here) during Garter Day on Monday 13 June 2011 at the Castle..:
WOW, WOW, WOW !!
A welcome victory for freedom of speech – and commonsense!
Paul Skelton of Healing On The Streets Bath, has updated me with welcome news of a substantial flaw in the ASA dictat against statements and testimonies of healing on his website. The ruling has been officially reviewed and over-ruled and thus vindicates HOTS’ stance and their claims about ulterior motives to this issue, which many others could discern too – see previous update, and ASA tags in this blog for more.
The official statement has yet to be appear but it seems to confirm HOTS’ concerns, which the original complainant described as, ‘bizarre’. This young lady claims to be a ‘paranormal investigator’ and yet admits to not having spoken to anyone or to making enquires other than visiting the website, or having done any open-minded research. Her reasons arise from personal medical experiences, which is understandable, and so wishes to protect vulnerable people – but they’re mixed motives. Consequently, a very strong ‘crusading’ bias contributed to a hasty, incomplete assessment and conclusion. When I presented her with undeniable evidence of my wife’s healing the ‘lady’ didn’t want to accept its validity. Her claims to being an objective investigator are thereby shown as being, at best, delusion or, at worst, downright fraudulent.
[I was once on her side of the ‘fence’ – even having contempt for contemporary Christian belief – but how utterly shocked I was to discover I was ‘gravely’ wrong (deliberate pun) and that the Gospel really IS wholly true – see Death of Destiny?. I was devasted but what could I do but acknowledge the Truth Himself as my personal Lord and Saviour?]
Now, after my aside, here’s Paul’s published announcement.:
Advertising Standards Authority admit there was
a substantial flaw in their judgement
However, the official review process has now been completed and has identified a substantial flaw in the ASA’s Adjudication.
The ASA has subsequently accepted the official reviewers recommendation that the HOTS Bath website is actually outside of their remit and therefore beyond their jurisdiction.
We are grateful to the ASA’s Independent Reviewer and the ASA Council for reviewing and amending this decision, and confirming that there was a fundamental flaw in the original assessment of the complaint about our website.
The ASA has now confirmed that our website is not within its remit because the statements made on it reflects our beliefs and relate to a cause or idea – the website explains our belief that God can heal and provides information about prayer offered by our volunteers and therefore the ASA has confirmed that nothing on the website is in breach of the advertising regulations.
The ASA still considered that leaflets handed out could be in breach of the advertising regulations, however we changed the leaflets several months ago to reflect the concerns which the ASA had previously expressed.
The ASA is due to re-publish the adjudication confirming its views on the leaflets, but the revised adjudication does not apply to what is on our website, meaning we can continue to express our beliefs that God can and does heal, as well as providing information and testimonies explaining all about Healing on the Streets.
HOTS Bath will continue to fulfill its commitment to demonstrate the love of God through healing of body, mind and spirit on the streets of Bath and elsewhere.

Follow-up on recent prophetic words
It’s rather interesting that part of April’s newsletter received this week from Paul Keith Davis has a direct bearing upon my recent post ‘GET READY’. Therein, I mention seemingly God-incidental references by pastor John Kilpatrick and to the last of Geoff Pick’s 10 visions about preparations for our forthcoming, if not immanent, wedding feast with the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
Now, Paul Keith’s newsletter adds the following insight:
“I was recently allowed by the Spirit to witness some individuals being taken “behind the veil” and shown great and mighty things that have been reserved for the end-time….
“As the experience continued, the Holy Spirit revealed how the sharing of Kingdom Truths with the body of Christ was likened to the preparation of a great banqueting table being set for the Lord and His Bride. Seemingly, the “implements and banners” that were being revealed to this group somehow were utilized in the adornment of the banqueting table, particularly around the area that was clearly recognized as the “seat of honor” (sic). Naturally, these things are shown in symbolic form to illustrate truth that will help us in the hour in which we are living and the responsibility being delegated to us by the Holy Spirit.”
Paul Keith’s newsletter Flourishing During Days of Darkness provides more information and in closing Revival:1 – glory stories I refer to another God-incidence regarding one of his references to Jesus’ Bridal company. A short biography of Paul Keith may be read here.
So, it’s worth enquiring of the Lord about the preparations for the Kingdom fully coming to earth. May He bless you with revelation in this. (Check out Do You Know Him? if you don’t know Jesus yet.)
Continued here, which is in three linked parts.
Follow-up on healings in the UK
Recently (here and here), I’ve tried to convey our own great excitement over March’s revival meeting in Hull. At last, I can share it better with you on this 10 minute clip, which also features a short song in the middle Note: no longer available but see this 3 min clip:
These miraculous healings of folk from Hemel Hempstead, Chesterfield and Tiverton strongly enthused a packed auditorium of Americans in Alabama a week ago. Nathan Morris was also excited to announce that BBC local radio had interviewed Michael about his amazing triple miracle and that Lasette’s astounding appearance in her hotel, which I reported in “Now we know God is real”, brought a Muslim to salvation!
[A friend who directs a national healing ministry says Muslims are keen to learn about God’s healing power. It’s a pity for those atheists with whom two fellow bloggers and I have been in debate but who steadfastly refuse to accept such signs of salvation – Lord, bless them with a personal revelation and true contrition.]
Next, Nathan’s fresh preaching entitled Have You Defiled Your Robes? on holiness and repentance, as in John 8.34-36 and Revelation 3:2-6, was truly outstanding. It was exceptionally rare preaching on the ‘offensive message’ of the Gospel – that is, upon all sin, even in believers!, and the power of Jesus’ blood – “it is the lifeline“. For example:
“I’m tired of this gospel that won’t get in peoples’ faces. Let me tell you the Word of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ offends – get used to it! People don’t want to be offended anymore…without the Blood there are no miracles, without preaching the shed Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, there is no salvation…one of the biggest lies you ever received is ‘once saved always saved’…you can’t live how you want… “
Many believers flocked forward, blocked the aisles in repentance and then received a fresh fire. The whole was preceded by an hour’s ascending worship as the Holy Spirit filled Lydia Stanley’s fingers with fire on the keyboard. (Join the worship here – news of the UK starts at 1hr20 and Nathan starts preaching at 1hr54.)
On his blog, Hull’s New Life Church leader Jarrod Cooper also includes a video clip of a lady and her husband telling what it’s like to be disabled for 6 years and then being healed at the church.
Jarrod also provides additional photos of Lasette and of extra footage with a follow-up of Michael, who declares, “God’s just amazing. He’s given me my life back and I thank God”. Oh, yes indeed that’s such a tremendous blessing.
I trust you will take time to watch these signs of God’s wonderful healing grace.
“I asked God to protect me…He didn’t let me down”
Thus ran yesterday’s Sun on Sunday ‘world exclusive’ front-page headline about Fabrice Muamba’s recovery from ‘death’ after a heart attack. Click here to read his down-to-earth personal account of being grateful not to be left brain damaged. The follow-up story of who inspired Fabrice’s recovery is on this link.
I’d previously mused in the email below as to whether God’s hand could be discerned in this event as it followed upon the heels of the ASA’s decision to ban any statements about our Lord’s healing power. We can rejoice in His ‘cocking a snook’ at the thought control behind authoritiarian political correctness.
As before, Gillan Scott quickly reported upon this news and sensitively discusses its appearance in this particular journal. His own conclusion is well worth noting:
This weekend God’s greatest evangelist was a footballer who used a tabloid to tell the world just how amazing God is. God knows what He’s doing and we need to learn to follow His lead.
Amen.

…Thank you to Paul for having alerted me, to Gillan for this news, and to three Christian MPs dealing with this important issue. (You may recall my emails of early February and my blog’s post on this issue.)
Gillan reports (link) that the All-Party Parliamentary Group, Christians in Parliament, has asked the Chairman of the Advertising Standards Authority to provide scientific substantiation for the ASA ruling against Healing On The Streets, failing which the matter will be raised in Parliament. The ASA decision sought NOT ONLY to ban claims that God can and does heal physically, BUT ALSO TO SUPPRESS PUBLICATION OF TESTIMONIES of such healings!!
In case you may not understand the footballer reference, see Gillan’s post God is in control and Peter Kirk’s post about the BBC’s suggesting prayers for him! Is the Lord using that unfortunate incident to state, “Who says I cannot heal?”..?
GET READY…!
Please consider an interesting instance of similar prophetic words given recently in the UK and in the USA. Surely it’s not coincidental that they happened a week apart, or that I should be slap bang between them?
Both ‘words’ reminded me of Monday 5th September last when I read Tim Eldridge’s remarks at the Inception Meeting for the Revival Alliance Gathering. Therein, Tim referred to Paul Revere’s preparations for his historically famous ride at the outbreak of the War of Independence. (See Father, let your Kingdom Come and paragraph about Tim in the Gathering’s Report. Picture courtesy of Wikipedia.) Therefore, consider this..:
During Holy Week (this year, the first week in April) I ‘stumbled’ upon a relatively short website UK Prophetic Words that’s been online for just under a year. On Palm Sunday (1st April), Geoff Pick reported upon a series of ten visions some of which struck chords within me, especially the one about a coming change in national anti-Christian culture. Also, I particularly noted that it closed with:
The final picture – A horseman riding towards us I see a horseman riding furiously towards us. He is bringing a proclamation as in Matthew 25. “Get ready the bridegroom is coming.” Be filled with the oil of heaven, be ready for His return.
On Good Friday afternoon we watched the morning’s service live from The Bay Revival, which was on tour in Missouri. Warming up to teach, Rev. John Kilpatrick spoke about previous talks, one of which was on the glory of God. As he began to speak on this – and only in passing – he sensed the Holy Spirit start to kick in: “You talk about the presence of God and He will come come! – Hohh!” (he jumped – he usually gives a quick ‘whoop’ and does a little skip when the Holy Spirit gets him fired up). The congregation got to its feet to praise the Lord for a few minutes, then Pastor John’s tone took on a gravity as though he heard direct from the Lord:
“Can I tell you, right now in heaven…there is a man seated right next to the Supernal God on High? (applause)…and He bears in His body the scars from His earth-walk…and He is alive at this very second as I speak (cheers continue), He is alive – I said, as I speak He is alive (more louder applause). “And if you only knew…what’s going on in the ‘family activities building’ in heaven right now! “The table cloths are being spread, the china’s being set, the horses are being given their oats – the stable doors, the hinges are being greased…(pause) “That man…is about to come back and get His people. I said…He’s about to come back and get His saints – it ain’t long!”

My, what words to weigh…the Lord bless you in this. NOW, whatever your thoughts on this you need to get to know for sure who Jesus really is. Time is running short and you owe it to Him (for what He’s done for you), and owe it to yourself (especially for your post-mortem existence – see here), to decide quite quickly. …then perhaps you could go to Trafalgar Square by midday for a couple of open performances which have our highest personal recommendation: The Passion of Jesus. We’ve booked for a third trip to ‘partake’ in this modern rendition of The Life of Christ, as well as an amazing Nativity, in open fields on the North Downs, south of Guildford. There, the actors mingle among the audience and it seems as though we travel back in time. It’s as though one’s there alongside Jesus and the disciples, watching and listening to all they say and do.
So what does Jesus look like?
Upon reading my brief review of Heaven Is For Real did you, too, not end up asking that question?
Whilst reading the book I was most interested in this simply because Jesus’ face had been out of sight during my encounter, as explained here (at 1st Validation). Also, I was familiar with ‘portraits’ of ‘Master Jesus’ to be found in New Age circles but didn’t regard them as being authentic.
Can you imagine how deeply stunned Todd and Sonja Burpo were whilst driving with their two children to hear their 4 year old suddenly reveal that he’d heard angels and met Jesus Christ?
From their vehicle’s back seat little Colton pipes up in answer to a gentle tease about hospital by saying what mum and dad were doing whilst he was dying on an operating table with a severely ruptured appendix that had poisoned his abdomen. It wasn’t so much his accurate description of what they were doing in two different places – on the phone and praying; well, losing it with God! – that hit them. (Only much later did his father learn the finer points of how that prayer of desperation was answered!)
They had to stop at a nearby snack bar to hear again, and digest, Colton’s very quick account of what happened whilst being operated upon. As only a young child can, he described being with Jesus. Over the course of many weeks a fuller account gradually emerged, usually popping out during play times, of what Jesus looks like and of many things Colton ‘did and saw’ during minutes, not hours, of earth time. There was also, and more importantly, what Colton knew. Almost all of this could not be attributed to any teaching or children’s Bible stories!
The first answer to what Jesus looked like was the answer to a spiritual ‘riddle’ : what’s the only thing in heaven that’s the same as it was on earth?
He’d said, right off bat, “Jesus has markers”.
His father claims Colton didn’t know about the crucifixion wounds at that age because their Weslyan church made no references to or had any pictures of them. For nearly three years his parents would show Colton dozens of illustrations depicting Jesus but they all left him cold. He never saw one that he thought was right. He just could not recognise Jesus in any.
One day his father came across a CNN report of a young girl Akiane Kramarik, a child prodigy who began painting exceptionally sophisticated artwork at the age of 6 years. A couple of years previously she’d begun having ‘visions’ of heaven, even though both her parents were atheists! The authors of Heaven Is For Real write, ‘Slowly her mom began to accept that Akiane’s visions were real and that, therefore, God must be real’.
As I watched (writes Todd) a montage of Akiane’s artwork play across my computer screen, the narrator said, “Akiane describes God as vividly as she paints him”. (p 143)
That was similar to how Colton spoke of Jesus – both children spoke especially about His beautiful eyes. So his father told Colton to come and take a look, asking what was wrong with this one. The boy said nothing, just stared, and he was asked again – still silence and then he got nudged:
My seven-year-old turned to look at me and said, “Dad, that one’s right”.
Entitled “Prince of Peace, Resurrection”, her portrait can be seen in Akiane’s Official Gallery under ‘Age 8’ and the next year shows Jesus praying, “Father Forgive Them”. To learn how she saw and painted Him read For child art prodigy Akiane, Jesus is for real (link no longer available)
Below, Ray Downing demonstrates how the picture Colton saw matches the image of the deceased Christ as captured millennia ago on The Shroud of Turin.
Also, you can watch Colton at 11 tell his story on video on heaven is for real website.

Evidence for physical healing
For quick reference purposes I’ve listed 10 short video clips of testimonies of notable healings – at least a couple of which are not only medically impossible but are also creative miracles. These clips can be found under this website’s header God Heals Today, or by clicking here.
Also, three clips on the disappearance of surgically implanted metal rods, screws and plates during Global Awakening ministry tours, are separately referred to here.
