No. 4 of 4 – THE CLEANSING

“My children, the echoes of the winds of reprisal are in your hearts and in your minds because of the offences that have been committed against My Laws and My Statutes across this land and the nations of the Earth. But know this, that you must not take matters into your own hands and run ahead of Me. For My Plans for this Nation and many Nations have length and breadth, and will bring a Prevailing Wind of My Spirit that shall supercede all other adverse winds.

“There is a Shekinah Glory coming, My Children, do not doubt Me in this. And even though the enemy roars with derision and hunts you like prey, I will cause those caught within his traps to be freed and they shall align with you to chase him and his kind to dry and arid places. So-called nobility in the House of God shall be brought low,” says the Lord, “for their pride and hunger for riches and status have caused a stumbling-block to My sons and daughters of new birth, which has pre-empted their abilities to fulfill their callings, even causing them to believe falsehoods; which has kept them imprisoned very far from Me. But I declare to you in this hour, that removal vehicles have been dispatched by the Power of My Spirit, and that truly I am causing a great repentance to come upon this land as I remove the chaff within the fields and bind up the wounds of the forsaken. For how can I raise up an Army if the hearts of many of My People are far from Me? Let the cleansing commence,” says the Lord of Hosts, “for the time grows short and heaven is at hand.”

No. 3 of 4 – THE ASSEMBLING

The Lord says, “I am assembling My People and creating a highway for My Remnant to walk upon. The briars and thistles of the enemy have made a wild forest of habitation of evil. But I tell you that in this hour, My People, that I am sending a great purifying fire to burn that forest to the ground. And know this, that I am bringing moisture after the fire and new groups that are like trees of righteousness shall spring up with a banner of righteousness to proclaim My Glory in these latter days. Do you not know My Children, that ash from burned trees can be beneficial? And that I must clear out the overgrown areas of the forest to let the purifying sunlight of My Spirit reach the forest floor? Then there shall be a resurgence of wildflowers and a creation of worship and a Spirit-life amongst My People that shall thrive and prosper,” says the Lord. “There have been people within My Body that have walked in the Spirit of Jannes and Jambres and just as they opposed Moses in the days of Pharaoh, so have these stiff-necked men and women purported that their ways and actions have been better than the ways of My Spirit. But know this,” says the Lord, “that even though small torches are burning and My Remnant stands firm, the forest fire as yet, is afar off; and in the Holy Mountain, for I am bringing it in the next years ahead in full measure to the valleys and the plains and to the habitation of My People. For no longer will I allow the beasts in the forests and the fields to confuse My People and to cause a wall of derision to rob My People from the outpouring of My Spirit. The fire from the Holy Mountain is coming, says the Lord, and all shall be laid bare.”

No. 2 of 4 – THE SEER ANOINTING

“As the cloud of My Presence descends a heavy seer anointing will fall upon the obedient of My People, who have not succumbed to the tolerance of sin in their lives and the world outside of them,” says the Lord. “This greater anointing of My Spirit comes with a price, My Children, but if you will open up the windows of your souls and allow a great cleansing to take place, the gifts that I have so freely bestowed without repentance will be mighty in My sight. Count the costs my children, for the seer anointing means both the seen and the unseen will be made known to you by My Spirit; and both the evil and the good. And such things carry responsibility,” says the Lord. “but I will give you strength and forbearance in the days ahead. For the days coming will be the times of great wonders as I sweep across this land and many lands. Rise up and be courageous sons and daughters for now is the time to position yourselves for the days of fire and ashes are upon you,” says the Lord of Hosts.

Significant word on the solution to Backstop and Ireland issues

I’m very pleased to be able to present this video by Emma Stark, founding director with her husband David of Glasgow Prophetic Centre, as I’d long intended blogging about an ‘indication’ sensed in early February about Eire and Ulster relating to Great Britain and Ireland leaving the European Union together. (It got over-ridden by dealing with an inter-denominational issue; ie. diverted by satanic strategy?)  But the time is now!

Emma is a respected prophetic voice around the world and I know the Starks through their association with Revd Dr Sharon Stone, leader of Christian International Europe,

Whilst in Belfast on 27th February, Emma asked the Lord for a ‘heads-up’ on what He’s going to do in what looks like a chaotic situation – “Where is the solution to Brexit. God, what are You saying about the Backstop and the Irish border?”

Emma shares the exceptional, in-depth reply she got from the Lord in this video, and asks intercessors to partner with her in prayer and stand upon this prophetic word:

 

“The Spirit of the Lord said this to me: “Emma, the solution is in Dublin!”

“Well I was shocked. And the Lord said, “There is a tangled ball of wool that is sitting in the parliament building in Dublin and the end of that ball of wool is in the hands of Leo Varadkhar”.  Now (he) is the Taoiseach, or leader or Prime Minister in Ireland and they, of course, meet in Dublin….”

Emma then shares what the Lord told her about His specific purpose for this man:

“The Lord said this to me, “I put an anointing on Leo Varadkhar” and He says this is a dormant anointing, but the Lord says He made him one who would challenge the rules, one who would challenge the status quo. He made him different to other leaders in Ireland. And the Lord says….” (continue on the video; for transcript see PS below).

PERSONAL PROPHETIC TRAIL

It was at Dr Sharon’s Mentoring Day in Windsor on 9th February that I began to get that ‘indicator’ of the Dublin-Belfast link. During worship I recalled that it was 7 years ago at a conference in Torquay when I told her about what I thought was from the Lord upon seeing Windsor Castle and a dynamic link between heaven and earth. The turreted, circular Norman keep symbolised a cog-wheel into which an invisible spanner or lever could be inserted in the heavenlies to wind up spiritual matters here on earth.

Next, I was reminded that later in that year, 2012 (which has direct significance to my destiny, as told here), was the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and Olympics in London. In connection with that Nina and I started daily prayers and blessing for Great Britain AND Ireland, as recounted in UK/EU in/out #10: Prayer of Protection for Britain & Ireland.

Therefore, and in view of what I’d blogged in Prayer and Brexit-related Dream of Ireland vs Germany (Simon Copley dreamed of Germany / EU having invaded Ireland and thus being at war), I mused over any significance in our having prayed for Ireland as well as for Britain for 7 years.

Then came ‘confirmation’ at coffee-time when I spoke to the lady sitting behind me. She had flown in from Belfast and I recalled Dr Sharon had ordained her into CIE last year, but that was when she was living in Dublin. So although she’s moved to Belfast there is still a ministry connection.

The next morning, I got another ‘confirmation’ when a friend at church caught me to tell me about a surprising news item he’d just seen about the EU blackmailing Eire over the Brexit ‘backstop’ – see below. So once again it spoke to me of about Ireland being part of the whole  British Isles and thus needing to be as separate from the EU as we are geographically from the continental land mass of Europe.

To summarise, in addition to having ‘God-incidental’ confirmation relating to the 7 years, it included a triple reference specifically to the Republic of Ireland.

Now let’s look at that news item my friend spotted in a listing of news items in Express: IRELAND BREXIT ULTIMATUM: EU to enforce hard border or KICK DUBLIN OUT of single market…(emphases mine):

‘Dublin will be forced to make the tough choice if Britain quits the EU without a deal, according to a number of senior EU figures. The European Commission sparked fury from Ireland after declaring Dublin would have to implement a hard border in the event of a no-deal Brexit. After significant protests from, which involved a heated debate between Leo Varadkar and Jean-Claude Juncker, Michel Barnier, the EU’s chief negotiator, suggested “operational solutions” would have to be found in order to prevent a hardening of the border.

‘But now high-ranking MEPs have hardened their position, insisting the single market must not be compromised even to maintain peace on the island of Ireland.

‘Elmar Brok, a German MEP with close ties to Angela Merkel, insisted that if Ireland failed to police its own borders the EU would have to take its own protectionist action.

“We would have to set up a customs border with Ireland,” the German said.’ (!!!!)

This report by Joe Barnes, Brussells Correspondent for The Express, was published Wed 6th Feb – the very same day that Donald Tusk was in Dublin cursing Gt Britain!! (Spiritual Nature of Brexit vs. EU Battle Exposed to Whole World refers.)

GPS #30.1: Mighty army told to “March Forth!” (on March fourth)

Monday 4th March saw the start of Lent Week of Prayer at the church we attend. One of its aims is to refocus our lives on all God has for us and give an opportunity to get rid of clutter hindering our relationship with Him. To help us in this, thematic displays had been set up for contemplative prayer in the chapel. We arrived at the same time as the rector for Monday evening’s prayers, but after having led a long worship and prayer session on his guitar he needed to leave for an appointment…

However, Nina’s email of Tuesday morning updated him on what happened…

WELL, WHAT NEXT!

‘Dear Val, Thank you for the wonderful worship yesterday evening. It was very special. Then you left the 3 of us and then……….!!!!!!!!

‘We carried on praying for a short while and then I had an extraordinary picture which I shared with Richard and N because I knew it was important.

‘It was in black and white and was a scene from an old war movie. The pilots were sitting around outside, by the Nissan huts, waiting for the alarm call so they could jump to attention and get into action [‘Scramble!’ thinks Richard].

‘As I spoke this N suddenly said, “That was the Battle of Britain!”   Britain is in another battle right now so we prayed on for a short while. Then I said, “We need to remember the picture and the date”. Suddenly N said, “March Forth!”

‘He didn’t say it is the fourth of March or March the fourth, he said “March Forth!” [Each of us intuitively knew that difference.]

‘By then we were standing and agreed that as members of The Lord’s Army we needed ears to hear His clarion call and ACT!

‘Richard added that this all confirms what he’d read earlier on the very same topic’!

Update on American’s dreams of Big Ben and implied political and national ‘shake-down’

‘See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we [l]may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. On Saturday 2nd March Tony Puccio posted Big Ben: Another Dream wherein he says:

‘I had a dream last night where I was in a room with many gear wheels moving in various directions. Then I was shown the face of a clock and realized it to be Big Ben. I saw that the hands were about to strike 12 and as they did the clock began to crumble. I watched it fall in the same way the twin towers fell. The twin towers, if you recall, were hit by planes used as bombs. I can’t say that this was the case here although the analogy was in my dream.’

This is the next in a sequence of five dreams, which I listed in January here, but it does not appear to be entirely prophetical for it describes the current state of unprecedented upheaval across British politics that’s arisen from attempting to implement the largest ever electoral vote in our political history, the Referendum of 2016. This instructed the government to remove the UK from membership of the European Union.

That is, it shows Britain’s at its midnight hour – all seems to be falling to rack and ruin, for it’s part of the shaking foretold in scripture and by many prophetical voices of late. However, there is hope that someone good [LOL – just noted the typo: it should read ‘something’; but best left alone!] will come out of this, as clearly implied in the previous dream Tony recorded on 13 Sept 2017, Big Ben Attack By Insiders:

‘I had a dream where I saw a group of people gathered around Big Ben. Everyone in the group had sledge hammers in their hands. Not the kind one would see if one were breaking up rocks or driving a railroad spike but rather the smaller one but nonetheless still capable of inflicting damage if used to do so. With that said I saw people gathered around Big Ben and they were beating it with sledge hammers and inflicting damage to it, However, each time those striking Big Ben would inflict damage to it, the damage inflicted would miraculously be restored as if nothing had happened. I remember hearing Parliament in the dream so I am assuming that it was them who were attacking the clock although their attempts in the dream were futile. This is the first time that I recall in dreams I’ve had about Big Ben where the government was involved in attacking it.’ [Emphasis RB]

TIMING

I wasn’t moved to re-blog that latest dream and the last couple of days have been too busy to do so. Also, I was waiting further developments and thus thinking of linking in some parliamentary news. But today I noted an apposite comment had been posted overnight by Dave Hood to London On The Brink: 4 Nights of Prayer and, in my spirit, know that although noted 14 years ago, it connects directly into that dream’s reference to the miraculous restoration of ‘Big Ben’ – and so is important to consider and weigh.

Here my namesake covers verses that often nudge me because not only do they follow Jesus’ instruction not to judge one another and point the finger, but also the version at Matthew 7:21-27 brings a stern admonition that’s personally pertinent: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you, depart from Me you who practise lawlessness!”

What I’d blogged last week can now be seen as the conjunction of a ‘God-incidence’, or God’s GPS (Global Prophecy Signals), on the parable of the wheat and the tares:

  • Wed 27th Feb: republished prophetic insight brought by Chris Bennett on chapters 34 and 37 of Ezekiel as being applicable ‘now’, which includes: “I WILL SHAKE MY CHURCH FIRST TO EXPOSE THE BAD AND TO THEN BUILD UP THE GOOD. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES, AND THE BEGINNING OF JUDGEMENT, FOR DOES MY WORD NOT SAY THAT JUDGEMENT SHALL BEGIN WITH MY CHURCH?”

So yes please Lord, let’s see it happening at long, long last because it’s You who’s re-building Your ekklesia. Yet, I bless you Lord that the deep divisions decades ago which made me reject you and seek truth in the ‘new age’, were actually within Your purposes and plans for my life and destiny in You.

In view of recent perturbations within His Bride across the United Kingdom it was very timely and a heartening reminder to hear the visiting speaker at church, and leader of Iris Global in India, distinctly emphasise,

“Nobody died so that we may judge!”

Take a stand for freedom of speech to preach the Bible

Further to Freedom of Speech is Now in Handcuffs, relating to my ’10th anniversary’ posting, the arrested/’de-arrested’ street preacher is now receiving help from the legal centre at Christian Concern, who have opened this invitation to the public:

‘If you want to make a stand for the freedom of Christian street preachers to preach on the streets of our nation without suppression, please sign this petition.’

I’ve spent some time checking their Video of Street Preacher Arrest Goes Viral and the  content of its links and details therein from the witness who took the video. It also has a copy of the response from a police commander.

Our police officers need to uphold the freedoms that are enshrined in law to preach in public, so you may wish to join me in petitioning the Home Secretary for the protection of street preachers.

10 years on and freedom of speech is now in handcuffs

The previous post included the opening part of my email dated 10 years ago today, but omitted the following after the reference to nurses forbidden to pray for patients:

10 years ago: ‘time-bomb’ in my Bible blew up in my face!

Wanting to verify Peter’s grousing about John’s grasp of Jesus’ parable ‘the wheat and tares’, I grabbed my Bible to look at the Gospel of Matthew…BUT IT BLEW UP IN MY FACE! – metaphorically, that is.

I’d opened it many times before without that ever happening. Had someone sneaked into the house overnight, cut and scooped out the inside of my thick tome and put a pressure-sensitive stick of spiritual dynamite inside?? Or, had some clever being, the Holy Spirit even, already known when I’d be checking on a topic that’s churning around within my mind – a specific simile on the Kingdom of God – and arranged for me to be zapped at that precise instant?

This time upon opening it, however, a supernatural flash exploded within my mind. It didn’t go >>BANG<<  but EXCITEMENT EXPLODED within my spirit as I heard,

“THIS  IS  ALL  ABOUT  TO  BE  FULFILLED!”

That unforgettable, formative event had its origin in 2008’s controversial ‘outpouring’ led by Todd Bentley at Lakeland, Florida. We’d known of him from a few years earlier and had attended an inspiring conference in Dudley where he’d taught in depth on the Holy Spirit as he energetically motored through the Bible for over 10 hours daily!  However, in 2008 he allowed personal sin to overtake him and thus stumbled from grace; but ‘good Samaritan’ Rick Joyner came alongside to direct and assist in his restoration. A part of the problem was Todd’s failure to be accountable, despite the efforts of his Canadian church’s leadership.

At that time Peter Horrobin, director of Ellel Ministries, was staunchly opposed to what was happening and the ‘lassez-faire’ (my term) attitude of N. American churches’  top leaders. John Arnott of Toronto was of the opinion the Lord would deal with it, as may be inferred from the parable of the wheat and tares – but Peter firmly disagreed with such a flimsy handle on an important part of pastoral and spiritual oversight.

On top of that controversy I’d been noticing since the attack eight years earlier on the twin towers in New York a few things happening that were biblically related. So, after my inner explosion I began taking those things more seriously and realised the need for more Christians to become aware of the prophetical implications of scripture.

Therefore on 28th February 2009, 10 years ago today, I emailed friends and the church leaders whom I knew personally, as follows:

‘Last year, I encountered two conflicting claims about Jesus’ explanation of the parable on the end-time harvest of wheat and tares (Matt13:36). So I went to check scripture but upon opening my Bible a deep excitement exploded within as I heard, “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” – WOW!!

‘Hence, my previous remarks about a sifting of the Church – in preparation for a rapid ‘sHifting’? Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins:> “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (ch21:36) and chpt 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators (Acts 3:20-1, Hebrews 12:26-7, 2 Peter 3, 2 Timothy 3 and the first and second letters to the Thessalonians).

‘Have you studied or read/heard/given any teaching on this topic lately? So, let’s watch closely what’s happening here and globally…’

That two-part email continued by drawing attention to:
  • case of a nurse who was sacked for praying for patient. We took exception to this and wrote to N.Somerset PCT saying so pleased their policy wasn’t in effect when Nina was fighting for her life when no doctor was present to perform tracheotomy! (A nurse who was there only for that night (!) asked her if she could pray for her. She did so in tongues and Nina’s throat immediately opened; she became calm and at peace, as verified on her monitor’s read-out.)
  • tyrannical tool of intolerance: equality and diversity – MI5 director warns of ‘sleepwalking into police state’ – lawlessness within society and authorities…
  • note verses in Revelation, chapters 1-3; Rev 21:7 and Luke 12.
  • take a stand per Ephesians 6:10-20, shocking open vision of Britain torn apart!
  • 2009 UK Prophetic Council – prepare to rule and reign – Luke 12 warnings
  • ICEJ meeting Southampton – overcomers, the Lion of Judah and His lions!

THUS, began my calling to write on the relevance of Bible and contemporary prophecy to current events, and the next month’s double-email Not Many People Know referred to the EU’s 666 connection!

This was soon followed by a confirmation whilst attending a school on prophecy on 21st May 2009 at Winchester Vineyard church and led by internationally renowned teacher Isabel Allum.

Isabel was led to prophesy for individuals in the audience. Walking straight up to the two of us, she discerned for me, “An impartation like Daniel had is going to come into you and you will start understanding the ‘riddles’ of the Lord in a different way – the gift of interpretation itself as Daniel and Joseph had is going to come to you and God is going to open up your understanding to hear from heaven.”

As my writing started soon after Barack Obama’s inauguration as President of the USA, many of my emails would cover his involvement in the Middle-East (see Obama’s Cairo Speech…Europe and Two Daniels…).

Therefore, I was encouraged to continue writing a couple or so emails a month until, by mid-2011, I was getting distinct ‘digs in the ribs’ to circulate to a far wider audience. The dream of seeing and realising the Kingdom is being set up in Britain, as told here, made me determined to deliver on those ‘nudges’ by launching this blog with some trepidation on 21st November 2011.

What had, however, had first piqued my curiosity in Bible prophecy and End-times as an anti-Christian was my reading a secular book in mid-1980s about the convergence of Jewish, Christian and Islamic calendars with historical events in the Holy Land and Jerusalem.  ‘Coincidentally’, what was showing on TV of elite units of Iranian and Iraqi armies rehearsing the liberation of Jerusalem (despite their being at war!!) plugged straight into what I noticed whilst I was flicking through The Invisible Hand.

Since starting this blog time I’ve noted the increasing incidence of those ‘Gog-Magog’ events, even an impediment over the blog’s second anniversary to writing about Iran! To read about Bible-related current events see Bible Updates tag (note: not exhaustive).

TODAY’S RELEVANCE OF THE BIBLE

In addition to the increasing prophetical focus this year on the wheat and tares parable, as in the previous post, we’re now, 10 years after my having that revelation, watching the direct relevance of the Bible’s predictions in everybody’s everyday life!  It predicts precisely what happens today when – of all things – people go shopping!

That is, the Holy Bible states in writing that, instead of handing over cash to buy goods, people will be waving their hands, or some indicative marking they’re got in or on their hands!  In other words, contactless payments – the cashless society!

Check it for yourself in the Book of Revelation: ‘no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark of the beast on their right hand’ (Rev 13:17).

However, as the main part of that book after the first three chapters is highly symbolical then we’re not necessarily talking about a specific sign on a person’s hand or forehead. To consider this further you may like to read whether the ‘mark of the beast’ is a spiritual sign, as claimed in RFID, Technology and The Mark. (NB. End-Times Prophecy is 7th Day Adventist website which I’ve yet to check in any depth.)

Chris Bennett on Ezekiel 34 & 37 – bad shepherds and renewal of the Church

I thank the Lord and UK Prophetic Words for bringing this from Chris Bennett to my attention as I don’t recall anyone teaching on Ezekiel 34 since 25 years ago! It is very helpful to those who, like me, have been deeply concerned with these issues over the past month, and may answer our concerns and queries:

‘The Lord just revealed something to me. I don’t think for one moment I’m the only one hearing this, but this is the confirmation of what’s been brewing in me for several days.

‘The Lord is saying that NOW is that Ezekiel 34 moment – the exposing of the bad shepherds. Those who have led their flock through the wide, easy gate; who have omitted so much from the gospel and from the salvation experience.

‘Those who have suppressed and grieved Holy Spirit, forcing Him to be more a spectator than contributor in their services. Those who, in Ezekiel’s own words, have grown fat without feeding the flock, or who have denied healing to the sick, succour to the poor, and justice to widows and orphans.

‘The Lord is exposing and deposing such shepherds – “THEY SHALL FALL!”, says the Lord, “BECAUSE THEY DISHONOUR MY NAME AND MY PEOPLE!! THEY FOLLOW THEIR OWN SINFUL PATH WHILE DESTROYING THOSE IN THE FLOCK WHO DO THE SAME THING! HYPOCRITES!!! THEY DO NOT PREACH MY GOSPEL NOR MY SALVATION, RATHER, THEY LEAD MY PEOPLE ASTRAY AND THEN CAST THEM ASIDE IN FAVOUR OF THEIR OWN EVIL SCHEMES !!!”, says the Lord.

‘Then the Lord showed me a wonderful Ezekiel 37 moment of prophesying to the bones then prophesying to the breath. He showed me the Valley of Dry Bones – the bones coming together. He told me to prophesy over these bones and, as I did so, the Lord showed me the army of the Lord here on earth, the church, coming together in unity once again. As I watched them, the Lord commanded me to prophesy to the breath, as in Ezekiel 37, “Command the breath, their voice, to return!” As I did so, I heard the sound of a roar coming from the resurrected army – a roar of authority and of the power of the Lord.

‘Having watched the shepherds exposed and the dry bones resurrected, the Lord spoke once again:

“I WILL SHAKE MY CHURCH FIRST TO EXPOSE THE BAD AND TO THEN BUILD UP THE GOOD. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES, AND THE BEGINNING OF JUDGEMENT, FOR DOES MY WORD NOT SAY THAT JUDGEMENT SHALL BEGIN WITH MY CHURCH?”

‘As I thought about this, the Lord continued,

“I SHALL BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO MY CHURCH, MY PEOPLE. MY CHURCH, MY BRIDE, SHALL RETURN TO MY GOSPEL INCLUDING FAITH, REPENTANCE, SALVATION, AND DISCIPLING, FOLLOWED BY THE RESTORATION OF ALL THE GIFTS OF MY SPIRIT. THEN FAITH, LOVE, SIGNS AND WONDERS SHALL BE THE HALLMARK OF MY PEOPLE.”

‘I felt the Lord had finished speaking, but He gave me a final question for all of us – When pastors start to fall, who will shepherd their flock? In this coming season, ‘all that can be shaken’ includes pastors being exposed and falling. Who will shepherd the flock then?

‘I heard the words, “The House Church movement will return just like the first church, 2000 years ago!” There is a hunger for this yet a rejection of the ‘church as usual’ mentality that pervades the body today. It’s the days of personal church meetings – small groups gathering for fellowship, often a meal, a time of teaching and discipling, with occasional larger group meetings when we all get together in celebration. I see much joy, great faith building, and miracles being the order of the day – every day! And evangelism will be rampant – church will be a lifestyle, no longer a social scene, but our way of life IN JESUS!!

‘HALLELUJAH !!!!’

You may have noted the comments about the word Jarrod brought about Brexit, and my reply about 1Cor14 weighing and testing of prophecies to a query on Understanding Prophecy.  I note that Chris Bennett has today posted his careful consideration of its meaning on Facebook, as follows:

‘The Word re a partial Brexit with ties still remaining.:

‘With all respect to Jarrod Cooper, I believe his is a mis-interpreted word. I believe God has revealed to us the enemy’s plans and they have been mis-interpreted. In my mind, I see Numbers 23:19 “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

‘There have been so many words from nearly every prophet about God taking the UK right out of the EU. These words were all taken and prayed about, and every one of them was accepted as being Gods Word. Why now would the Lord change His mind. That goes against everything we know of His nature. He has said He is taking us out – so He is taking us out. He is not leaving us part in part out, still entangled and walking round that in/out mountain for years.

‘I believe Jarrod was shown the enemy’s plan to keep us entangled and tied up for years. He is showing us this so we can war against it! We are in a season of great shaking, tearing up from stony ground and replanting in fertile ground.

‘So for this reason I reject this word in this translation. The latter part is spot on but I believe we must pray against the enemy’s plan outlined in the first few lines. Britain will not flourish as God has decreed and planned in that environment. Rather she will slowly wither and die. This is NOT a false prophecy but rather it is a mis-interpreted one which actually reveals the enemy’s plan for us to pray about.

‘I firmly believe God is tearing us OUT of the EU, so we can prosper greatly under HIS mighty hand of blessing.’

Am pleased to learn the opening news in the reverend doctor’s latest editorial (click title below for link), as well as his aligning with what I’d heard elsewhere (footnotes refer). I particularly note his closing remarks about a coming spiritual awakening and revival:

TURNING DISASTER INTO PROSPERITY

God Is Working His Purposes Out.

Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking to a packed fringe meeting at the Church of England Synod in Westminster. There were a number of bishops and clergy of all ranks and the general atmosphere was one of deep concern for the state of the nation. The meeting was in Church House alongside Westminster Abbey and I think we were all aware of events across the road, where our politicians are struggling with seemingly intractable problems.

If any of those attending the meeting came expecting, or even hoping for, easy answers or joyful tidings, I’m afraid they would have gone away disappointed. The primary message I had to give was that God holds the Church responsible for the moral and spiritual state of the nation. I had been asked to speak about my latest book, ‘The Reshaping of Britain: Church and State since the 1960s’. I spoke about the last four Archbishops of Canterbury who I’ve known and worked alongside; and I spoke about the lack of a prophetic voice from the Church giving leadership to the nation in a time of revolutionary social, economic and political change.

It was not a comfortable message and in the short time of discussion it was clear that there are no easy answers to the situation. How do you bring creative, biblically-based change into an organisation as massive as the Church of England? I was only able to repeat what I’ve said so many times that there will be no revival in the nation until there is repentance in the Church. Of course, this is no easy message for those who are dealing with a multitude of pastoral problems in their congregations.

Right Understanding

One of the clergy asked, “Should we be encouraging young people in our churches to go into politics?” I know it is a very lonely and difficult place for Christians in the House of Commons at present. If there were a significant number of those who uphold biblical values and whose trust is in God, it would undoubtedly change the dynamics of politics and that should be a future hope and objective for all church leaders.

But I think it would take away a lot of our fear about the present political mess in the nation and our vast array of social problems if we simply understood what is going on. This means discerning the difference between the social engineering that has been driving the nation for the past 40 or 50 years generated by secular humanist advocates, and what is divine activity initiated by God.

Most Christians do not think in these terms because we do not rightly handle the whole word of God. We concentrate upon the Gospels and Epistles, but neglect to study the biblical Prophets, whom God used to reveal his nature and purposes to humanity in preparation for the coming of Messiah. Without a thorough understanding of this background we can never understand what God is doing in the world today. I said yesterday that this should be the major concern of church leaders today.

Listen to this from Isaiah 45:7: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.” All the Prophets recognised that God creates disaster! But he is more than ready to change disaster into prosperity!!! In fact, that is God’s purpose! He is longing to see his children enjoying the blessings of those who uphold righteousness and live by the standards of truth he has revealed in his word over many thousands of years.

Shaking All Things

God is at present shaking all the nations, as he first revealed to the Prophet Haggai in 520 BC, the significance of which for today is explained in the New Testament in Hebrews 12. You can see this in the upheavals and bitter Brexit divisions in Britain, in the rise of the populist movement in many countries throughout Europe, and in the fear of the Brussels elite at what may happen in the EU election in May this year.

You can see it in the USA, where there has never before been such bitter division between Republicans and Democrats. You can see it in the upheavals in South America, in Venezuela; similarly in Africa, especially in Nigeria in recent days, in the Middle East, in the distressing humanitarian crises in Yemen and Syria, and in many other parts of the world.

It is not only the nations that are being shaken, but all the great institutions in which we human beings put our trust – including the Church! Right now, the Roman Catholic Church is being torn asunder by having to face the sexual sins of its clergy over many decades that are being revealed to the public. Successive Popes have delayed the day of reckoning for many years, but the Vatican is having to face the uncomfortable truth that a system of forced celibacy in a social climate of sexual libertarianism is a recipe for disaster! Large numbers of clergy have misused their spiritual power for sexual gratification, exploiting vulnerable children and adults. The day of judgment has arrived, and this has not just been brought about by social pressure, but by the judgement of God

For Love

Why is God shaking everything? It may be amazing to those who do not study the whole word of God – but when God brings judgment upon the evil institutions of humanity it is an expression of his LOVE!

God so loved the world that he gave his own Son to save humanity from self-destruction. But our tiny minds simply cannot comprehend the magnitude of God’s purposes without the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit to flood his truth into our lives.

Let me give a small illustration of the great truth that I’m trying to convey. For more than 30 years I have been trying to teach a basic sociological truth that when you weaken and undermine the family, you destroy the social fabric of society, because the family is the linchpin holding everything together. This is what we have done in Western society and this is the underlying cause of knife crime, gang warfare, drug use, bullying, depression and suicide. We have crucified truth and produced an age of fake news, lies, hatred and violence, driven by the forces of darkness that we have embraced.

But amidst all this, God is working out his purposes to bring human beings to the point where they recognise that they have no solutions to the problems they have created. When they begin to cry out ‘O God, what has gone wrong?’ God knows they will be then open to the truth. He is calling upon his Church to be ready for a great spiritual awakening! Not a revival of the old institutions that we call churches, but a genuine new openness to the truth, met by a Church that genuinely both lives and declares the unchanging word of God.

That is the way disaster will be turned into prosperity! And the good news is that we may not be far from the turning point!

I’m aware that Dr Hill’s mentioned it many times before.

  3. Sharon’s session was the first in a track on principles behind wealth creation for a nation, introducing it with: “This morning we’re at a fresh place in our covenant – everything old is being left behind as we move into a fresh phase of ‘more’.”  
  4. After having read Dr Hill’s and ProphecyTodayUK’s judgmental condemnation of other ministries at the Wembley Day of Prayer, my reaction was that it would be far more appropriate to direct it at the apostasy and support of satan’s agenda in Anglican and other churches, and calling on them to repent!  So it’s good he’s at last addressed an Anglican synod – BUT, did they repent??  He doesn’t say.

Update on vision of snake in Parliament – with latest news

Note: first drafted mid-January but not published because of number of other posts on the Parliamentary chaos. I’m grateful to Ann Dennis for bringing this pertinent, amusing video to my attention last Thursday on RJ Dawson’s The Future is Now…:

“I expect you either saw or have been told about a recent TV advert for The Times Newspaper. Just in case, I confirm the Ad shows the Chamber of the House of Commons filled up with various animals where people would normally sit. Amongst the animals are two very large snakes slithering over the benches. The advert ends with the entrance of A UNICORN and A LION striding towards the despatch box. The lion begins to lift his magnificent head and ROAR AND ROAR. Not the norm for an advert, especially for a newspaper. It must have been SUPERNATURAL. Haven’t seen it a second time. Interesting! Praise God, He IS IN THE HOUSE.”

I responded: “ACE! Thank you Lord and Ann, as this is news to me because we avoid all tv adverts…As I respond to you from my WordPress ‘dashboard’ I espy a short list of draft blogs, and the topmost is ‘Update of vision of snake in Parliament’. AND as I’m not blogging as usual today because of dental and medical appointments I was wondering what and when to post next.”  [Note, normal process for replying is via email notification connecting into WP notifications in drop-down side-bar, not the full-screen ‘desktop’.]

An article in The Drum about this new publicity campaign explains,‘The Times and The Sunday Times has launched a new campaign that portrays politicians as animals in ‘Westminster Zoo’ as the publisher tries to reinforce its commitment to keeping readers informed in confusing times. Capturing the current mood of the nation, the ‘Politics. Tamed’ campaign anthropomorphizes politicians as animals in a similar vein to Orwell’s Animal Farm…Reiterating how it is newspaper’s jobs to ‘tame politics,’ only the lion and the unicorn – from the crest in The Times masthead [RB: using the Royal Coat of Arms]  – can bring order to the proceedings.’

This makes the THIRD example of the press inadvertently following modern prophecy, as we saw last year in ‘Outfoxing the Remainers’ – see Urgent: ‘Fox in Hen-house’ (ie. Parliament) Prophecy Reiterated) and last month here.

The Westminster Parliament appears to be tearing itself apart. The current turmoil resembles the time before party whips came to play the role they do today. In the old days, parties were not stable: a leader could not depend on the votes of other MPs and Lords as a matter of course. Much of the time, a member of the legislature had to be persuaded or cajoled into voting in favour of a proposal.

NEO ran a post at his blog, yesterday, commemorating George Washington. The post is well worth a read. In particular, I was struck by George Washington’s dislike for political parties (especially on the basis of geographical divisions). He knew history well, and he was a true patriot. Unity and Schism

An important and sound reflection in view of recent issues that have upset many of my readers. Am particularly pleased with Nicholas’ central emphasis on ‘accountability’, which is where the many non-traditional, modern churches can be vulnerable – yet 30 years ago ‘heavy shepherding’ gave rise to concerns and reaction to steer away from that style of pastoral oversight.
When I objected to joining a church as a possible new believer the Lord gave me the definitive answer by opening my new bible to Hebrews 13:17 – ‘Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so their work will be a joy and not a burden, for that would be no advantage too you.’ Such a clear directive was foundational to my journey along ‘The Way’!

Today I have spent some time reflecting on history and tradition, having watched Gavin Ashenden’s presentation on why he left the Church of England. Earlier in the week, I read a post at Cranmer’s site about the problem of schisms in politics and churches. Christianity has a long history of dividing into factions. In the very pages of Scripture we read:

“For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:11-13, NKJV)
