Now all this prefaced John’s talk ‘Eyes to See and Ears to Hear’ (Matt 13) in which he spoke about the Church’s deliberate choice of being either blinkered or able to see and understand what the Lord is doing and moving us into. He hinted that this may explain why so many believers find it hard to appreciate what happens during visitations of the Lord, for example in Argentina, at Toronto, Pensacola, Lakeland, Mobile etc.
Did you know that the Holy Spirit-led Argentinian revival and the ‘Toronto Blessing’ have borne fruit in the Islamic world? This oft-ignored impact has come mainly through those revivals’ associated ministries of:
> Norwegian LH made many secret missions into Pakistan where hundreds of thousands, if not now over a million Muslims, have come to faith in Jesus.
> Rolland and Heidi Baker, founders of Iris Ministries in Mozambique, through whom Muslim provinces have converted to Christ in response to their uncompromising approach. On her visits there, Heidi would challenge them to, “Bring out your demon-possessed, your blind, deaf and lame”, whence all get healed by and encounter Jesus’ love direct.
When I discussed with Rolland a vision of Holy Spirit’s fire sweeping up Eastern Africa and across the Sinai into the Middle East (here), he told me about a strategists’ report from the highest Islamic centre of Al Azhar University, Cairo. A discussion heard on Arabic TV stated the report’s goals of achieving a global caliphate were well on the way to being achieved BUT with the exception of Africa because of this ministry’s mission, where mosques have become churches!

If you’re familiar with Ezekiel 38 then maybe you’ve wondered if it relates to current events and what would come out of the melting pot – maybe the outcome would be different to what the holy prophet wrote? This could be inferred from the recent change in Turkey’s position regarding Israel, but there’s a good likelihood that’s only a temporary expedient in view of the existing close ties to Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran’s been secretly beavering away to produce nuclear weapons, as you may recall from William Hague’s announcement a fortnight ago. Here’s what DebkaFile wrote about Russian involvement, and gave our gov’t some credit:

In early October 2010, Russian intelligence learned that Iran was about to begin test launches of missiles for carrying nuclear warheads. They reported this to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. He then took three steps: He conveyed the information to US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and bound them to secrecy. With their pledges in hand, he used backdoor intelligence channels to persuade Tehran to refrain from bragging about its dramatic progress and keep the tests of the nuclear-capable missiles quiet in order to avert a world outcry against the violation of all their international commitments.
The Iranians bought the deal. In this way, the Russian leader raised a wall of silence around Iran’s advances towards ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads and pre-empted condemnations, Security Council action, and other forms of American, European and Israeli action for keeping a nuclear bomb out of Iranian hands. This was the last straw – at least for the British government. Hague, in consultation with Prime Minister David Cameron, went public about what Iran was really up to with a statement to parliament.
Russia Lays Out ‘Step-By-Step’ Approach On Iran – WASHINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) – Russia on Wednesday laid out a “step-by-step” approach under which Iran could address questions about its nuclear program and be rewarded with a gradual easing of sanctions…The target is to hold the talks in Moscow the week of July 25, said a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Isn’t it fascinating that all four participants of the Ezekiel 38 alliance are intimately and concurrently involved in scripturally significant events?
Are the prophesied pieces of an ‘invisible jigsaw’ beginning to fall into place?
YET far better is the wonderful news of the Lord appearing to many in these areas, particularly in Turkey AND IRAN…more on this another time.
Despite relatively welcome news in last weeks’ update, whilst tapping out its close I had reservations over the long-term likelihood of matters improving between Turkey and Israel. This is because the Ezekiel 38 alliance is not ancient but modern, as may be inferred from activities between Russia, Iran, Libya and Turkey. The last, with Syria, embraces the region of the ancient peoples of Meshech, Tubal, Gomer and Togmarah….
Now, Turkey’s PM Erdogan has stopped the reconciliation because the UN inquiry into those events has ruled favourably upon the legality of Israel’s blockade…Recriminations ensued but Western diplomats believe this won’t stop the two countries working together. Perhaps because Nicolas Sarkozy and Barack Obama are hoping to pull off an Israeli-Palestinian summit in Paris for 2nd Sept? Have received God TV’s letter for June which announces their focus upon events in the Middle East and which will especially focus upon the extraordinary work of Canon Andrew White, the ‘Vicar of Baghdad’. Transmission is scheduled for 9-12 June, should you want to watch these programmes.
Furthermore, I’d draw your special attention to the attached prophetic word about the Arab nations. It was first published in Journal of the Unknown Prophet, which bears the following wholehearted recommendation of Colin Dye, pastor of Kensington Temple:
‘The Journal carries the distinctive ring of a genuine prophetic word of our times’.
This word, and many more, was received during a 10-day visitation in Nov 1999 and of which one particularly spoke of the future betrayal of Israel by nations which had previously been her allies:
“…For even the governments of the West and the Western powers shall shift and sway and even those you thought were solid allies to you, shall in the coming days shift allegiance…”
Over the past two years – climaxing last week in Washington! – we’ve seen this genuine prophecy come to pass. But praise the Lord there’s one God-fearing leader in this world: Canada’s PM Stephen Harper – would that ours were of his spiritual calibre.
During the last few weeks I’ve been discovering more about the Lord’s wonderful work within the Muslim nations, and would like to share it another time.
To close, could Jesus’ words at John 5.23 about honouring Him be aimed at not only Jews but also Muslims? After all they regard Jesus as a prophet and thereby give him honour – and look what happened to the Samaritan woman when she recognised Jesus as a prophet (John 4.19), He then blessed her with the revelation of Him as Messiah!
It’s delightful when we see someone’s ‘aha’ moment, is it not? For example, when a face light’s up with a revelation, especially during prayer, or seeking the Lord.
For some weeks I’ve intended circulating a prophecy on revival in UK, but found I was beaten to the draw for it cropped up twice! First, it was quoted by Paul Keith Davies at Dudley and then it featured in Stewart Keiller’s blog (leader of Bath City Church).
If it may help you to connect into this word I’d first like to tell of an event in 1997:
At a prayer for revival I had the privilege of meeting 80 years old Rev Norman James, prayer partner of the renowned ‘apostle of faith’, Smith Wigglesworth. When this small group stood in a close circle to pray, Norman was less than a yard right in front of me. As he was quite short my eyes opened to gaze fully into his face and I couldn’t help but notice his eyes alight with excitement. A huge, beaming smile – he was radiant!
Norman could hardly speak, save to whisper, “I’ve just seen what Wigglesworth saw – Britain in revival, on fire for the Lord!”
Ever so briefly he explained that in Wigglesworth’s 88th year the Lord had given him a vision of a future revival in Britain. He knew it would happen decades ahead but he so desperately desired to see such days. Thus Norman confided, “No wonder he wanted the Lord to keep him alive!“. But he couldn’t find the words to describe its wonder.
Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy about a coming move of the Holy Spirit in the UK, is as follows:
TWO DISTINCT MOVES During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say “This is the great revival”. But the Lord says “No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it”.
WORD AND SPIRIT When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.
When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.
All that mattered to Wigglesworth was listening for and to the voice of God’s Holy Spirit: it is hardly any wonder this ministry had such powerful anointing…
He conceived of revival in typically robust terms: that it can only come when we are prepared to die to self and human striving. Alongside this was his teaching that Jesus must occupy the foremost place in our hearts and lives.
“Holy, Holy, Holy are you Lord, Heaven and earth are filled with Your glory, Holy Holy, Holy is Your Name, Exalted upon the praise of Your people.”
So runs the chorus of Lydia Stanley’s song Holy Are You Lord – listen here – it’s one of several inspired by Holy Spirit since last July (2010) for her to lead hours of fire-filled worship at The Bay Revival, Alabama.
Psalm 22 v 3 proclaims, ‘You are holy, enthroned upon the praises of Israel…’ and thus, the Lord’s Presence can be sensed, even becomes tangible, and people hear Him more easily, are saved, healed and delivered – in such a sacred atmosphere, with anointed leading and prophetic preaching, miracles often occur.
You may recall my reference to evangelist Nathan Morris having a word from Alabama for revival in the UK? So a few ‘glory stories’ may inspire and encourage you:
First, on a personal note, I’ve been in a fascinating flow from the Lord since an ‘inter-stream’ conference in Winchester in March. During opening worship I sensed the Lord wanted me to focus upon the eventual new earth and new heavens, especially the appearance from heaven of The New Jerusalem and I had a flash picture of a lion’s head.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband…(Rev 21:2 NKJV)
Then one of the seven angels…talked with me, saying, “Come I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife”. And he carried me away to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone…(Rev 21:9-11 NKJV)
Over the last year or so a couple of scriptures had come whilst in Bath, but now the context became clear. Also, the Lord’s saying He’s let me see a couple of childhood desires He implanted have been fulfilled: to see miracles of healing and receive Jesus close teaching, and to be in and understand the times of His return – but now focusupon His ultimate aim (Revelation 21-22), and beyond the Bible’s cover!
Then in the first session Stuart of Catch The Fire, Wembley mentioned,
“There is so much happening in the Kingdom of God at the moment…we’re seeing Him move again and again and again…We’ve just seen a massive increase in the supernatural – not because of ministry but because God is moving – ‘Aslan’ is on the move!”
He went on to describe seeing the breath of God blow away demons that had attached themselves to someone they were praying for. This one didn’t need in-depth ministry sessions, valid as that is, but God simply blew – like the mighty protective and possessive roar of a lion over its young! Stuart said, “It’s like the Lion of Judah puts His paw on you and says, ‘Mine, Mine – you are Mine!’ and roars at anything that would threaten you.” With Chloe, his wife, teaching followed upon their theme: full meaning of Sonship in the Kingdom
Also that month, Bill of Blandford wrote me as follows:
God is awesome! Only last evening I was testifying to standing in awe as again Abba God brought deliverance to His beloved children. I was sharing ministry to bring freedom to some people with ancestral masonry. We saw His mighty deliverance set them free from chains of deception. What He desires and delivers to the one or two, He will do for the many. I stand in awe right now as day after day we see and hear prophecy unfolding… (Thank you Bill)
Here’s another – Over dinner in Zizzi’s, Russ of Farnham said he was at The Potter’s House, Stoke-on-Trent and heard intriguing accounts of unbelieving youngsters turning up because God had come to them in the night and told them to get there!

“Are you from the United Kingdom?”, asked young Nathan Morris as he pointed to a couple standing near the front of the congregation.
It was an hour and a quarter into the worship of Saturday’s revival gathering in Mobile Convention Centre, Alabama. Under the power of the Holy Spirit, Nathan had just taken authority in Jesus’ name over all demonic activity and loosened its hold when some-thing amongst the worshipers caught his attention.
The question got repeated and clarified, “You’re from the UK?…You too? – Come here quickly right now, come quickly…come – Keep worshiping, Lydia…You’re from the United Kingdom, is that right?”
“Somerset”, the man replied and as he ascended onto the stage, Nathan pointed again and declared “Jesus!” – the tall man and lady both collapsed under the weight of the Lord’s presence, as did another couple following on to the platform.
Nathan turned away and explained to everyone, “I saw the United Kingdom flag right over that gentlemen’s head…”.
Next, turning back towards them he spoke, “FIRE!…I tell you, the power of God‘s falling all over this place right now” and, extending his hand in blessing over the four, he declared,
“Let revival come to the United Kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus – let the Isles be sacred again – from Scotland, to England, to Ireland, to Wales – let the Isles be sacred again!
Looking amongst those assembled below, “Are you all from the United Kingdom ? You’d better get up here right now, the power of God’s here…”
A dozen or so men, women and couple of children did so and were immediately hit by the fire of the Holy Spirit, “Fire on the United Kingdom”. The effect was so heavy each and every one of them were to remain almost motionless for 40 minutes from one end of the stage to the other! Nathan continued:
”Let the United Kingdom see a move of God that will shake the very foundations.
“United Kingdom, in the name of Jesus, be awakened, be awakened.”
Six minutes after all this started, stepping around nearly 20 of our fellow Britons scattered on-stage, our man from Sheffield suddenly turned towards the camera, directly AND VERY STERNLY addressed all viewers here in UK :
“You know, I didn’t plan this tonight but my nation used to be a nation of Revival. We used to send revivalists around the nations of the world and I’m speaking over the United Kingdom tonight:
“YOU belong to Jesus Christ – He birthed you – He made you who you are today – NOW turn back to Him, TURN BACK to Him before it is too late!
“Let the United Kingdom be shaken with the Fire of Revival !!”
Shortly thereafter, weeping on his knees under an impassioned anointing, Nathan proclaimed,
“God is breaking hearts tonight, that you might see His glory – Give birth to a Great Awakening, Lord – Let it be birthed – Let this fire, this glory flood the nations of the world.”
At 1hr 40min; Nathan announced the title of his message was to have been ‘What we need to see the lost turn to Christ’ but said, “The answer to the message was that we need God to visit us – by His Spirit He needs to come and melt the heart of man. But tonight, the Holy Spirit is doing the preaching,…the way He knows……just worship Him….”
At 1hr 52min; he groans intensely – at times on his knees – under the extreme unction of a prophetic tongue, and interpretation then flowed immediately –
“For I am God of the seasons”, says the Lord.“For though it has been Winter, so shall Spring arise….but I am seeking in these days”, says the Lord,“To raise up My seed, to raise up an army that will bloom. Even though Satan seeks to destroy the nations, I will cause My seed to bloom for I will place within My Body a FIRE that will rage…”
For the Lord says, “Beware, for many shall fall in these Last Days because they place their feet NOT upon the Rock of Truth.” But the Lord says,“You shall know those that shall arise…for My glory shall be upon them…Arise, shine…for your Light has come.”
“Cry out to God to make you a harvester. Ask the Lord to give you souls. Ask Him, ask the Lord, that you might reap the harvest.”
Pastor John then led intercession for the nations. Our friend J, biographer and historian of revivals, thinks it’s singularly significant for the Lord to use an individual like John Kilpatrick to host once again a Holy Spirit Revival.
I’m particularly impressed that the American and Englishman are so well united in spirit and preach the blood and cross of Jesus without any compromise whatsoever. And they focus on three things the Lord has impressed strongly upon me: teaching and ministering as Jesus did, preaching upon His soon return, preparing His Bride to rule the Kingdom with Him on earth.

J, a fellow reader, was chatting to Nina about her healing a few years ago when the Arnotts were in Bath (full testimony here) and she mentioned that he had recently spoken in church about ‘blood red’ moons, presumably as seen during a lunar eclipse.
The Lord told the prophet Joel that He will turn the sun to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD (Joel 2.31 NIV). And when we realise our Almighty Father favours the feasts he ordained with the ancient Israelites, then we’re in for a fascinating discovery when we investigate the actual occurrences of red full moons.

Of the whole 12 pages of Friday’s Koenig’s Eye View From the White House only the following ‘Top News’ unexpectedly struck me hard:

Britain, France and Germany would like the United Nations and European Union to co-author an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement, say diplomats…”
My immediate reaction was that this is not only another clear indicator of the US’ rapidly diminishing global role but also, and far more importantly, is directly relevant to the Daniel 7 end-time vision. Experts think the fourth beast Daniel saw is the ancient Roman Empire brought back to life as the European Union, as suggested by Rev 13:3. Its three horns that get extracted – and thus rendered powerless!! – and replaced by the pompous little horn would be Britain, France and Germany! (Dan 7:8 & 24)
Also, the email and this news are confirmed by this Debka exclusive report of yesterday headed:
“America’s exit from Libya ends coalition no-fly zone, military campaign.
“The United States has quietly withdrawn its air and sea assets from Libya and virtually ended its military intervention against Muammar Qaddafi’s armed forces. My first thoughts upon our leaders’ reaction over Libya were they don’t know what they are getting us into just because we need oil supplies if and when Iran freezes/seizes all supply routes from Arabia and Gulf – AND we can’t expect Libya’s alliance with Iran, Turkey and Russia to change as it’s already been announced in holy scripture. Did you notice how shambolic were the attempts to rescue our own people? – Messrs Cameron, Clegg and Hague each got egg of their faces! In my opinion that was their just desserts for having ‘excoriated’ Israel over the ‘prison camp’ of Gaza and for blocking the Turkish flotilla. Oh I forgot, they didn’t experience the Blitz in London 70yrs ago!
This is a more personal letter to you as I believe it’s time to tell about a revelation that amazed me, for it came only a couple or so years after my re-birth. (And only now am I glimpsing how it may connect with an open vision of fire shooting up E Africa to Egypt.) So I’d be interested if this may strike a chord, or you get a word from the Lord – or even a check in your spirit. Kindly bear with me as this needs be a bit lengthy.
As what I saw is directly relevant to the past month’s (Jan 2011) momentously historic events (which could affect our Western nations’ economies) I’ve been hesitant to relate this without the Lord’s go-ahead. Thus, early yesterday I sought the verses about His word not returning to Him void (Isa 55.11) but my eyes fell first on Isaiah 44.24-26, as though confirming the validity of the revelation and giving clearance to write:
“I am the LORD who has made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Myself, Who foils the signs of false prophets and makes fools of diviners, Who overturns the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense, Who carries out the words of His servants and fulfils the predictions of His messengers….” (NIV)
First, some background. At the time I received this staggering ‘download’ my Baptist pastor and elders were unable to help, possibly because it came in a dream, and I was a ‘young’ Christian…It was, however, an excellent church for solid Biblical tuition and discipleship – thank you Lord.
Nonetheless, what I received proved helpful to a young missionary in France as well as to an evangelist off to Egypt. I’d put the full account in a letter, which he put on top of clothes in his suitcase. Thus, when Egyptian customs questioned him and checked inside his case he was reminded and encouraged in his mission. Here’s what I’d written:
The BBC late evening news on 6th January 1992 announced that leaders in the Muslim community wanted to establish a Muslim parliament in Britain…:
In a dream that night I saw Western Europe, mainly France and the Mediterranean, as if from the space shuttle and heard the popular worship chorus ‘All Hail The Lamb’ being sung, as if in the atmosphere! This praise was repeated many times most melodiously, as though by angelic choir ,and seemed to spiral upwards. Then I heard a very loud, authoritative voice declare,“As Communism fell, so too will Islam fall”.
I understood this as the Almighty’s declaration that Islam’s demise would come when Muslims themselves want to be free and rise up en-masse. Clearly, by referring to the events that had rippled across the Eastern Bloc to end the Soviet empire, we could expect a similar, unanticipated wave to sweep across Africa, the Middle East and Asia to the Pacific. It, too, would be like dominoes falling. In fact, some commentators are likening what’s happening now to that effect – Telegraph and Foreign Policy reports.
As a prophetical impression the dream awaited proper weighing and confirmation by my leaders. Only a few years ago I read an article by the prophet Marc Dupont in which he referred to a very similar word at about the same period. EVEN SO, if you’re with me thus far, please do weigh and check all this. [Months after this email I discovered that Lance Lambert had later that year brought the same message about God shaking the nations.]
Later yesterday I got an email from leading analyst on Middle-East affairs, Daniel Pipes, supporting that concept of change, viz:
“Something remarkable, unpredictable and unprecedented took place in recent weeks on Egyptian streets. A leaderless mass movement galvanized large numbers of ordinary citizens, as in Tunisia days earlier. It did not rage against foreigners, scapegoat minority Egyptians, nor endorse a radical ideology; instead, it demanded accountability, liberty, and prosperity. Reports reaching me from Cairo suggest a historic turn toward patriotism, inclusion, secularism, and personal responsibility.” – Washington Post
Let’s remember the Lord’s ultimate redemptive plan for Egypt, as stated in Isaiah 19 especially verses 19-25.
19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border…24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance”.
Pertinent to these verses is this closing statement of an email just in: “..the Egyptian identity needs to be resurrected, thereby allowing all of the nation’s sons and daughters to work together for a better future—without the dead weight of foreign encumberments, namely Arabism or, worse, Islamism.” [Assoc. Did you read in my email 10 Feb of Dutch Sheets’ word given 13 Jan about the Lord supernaturally visiting the Middle-East? Well, on Monday I bought his classic book Intercessory Prayer but didn’t dig in until last night. On fanning through I was drawn to a prophetic word about nations falling rapidly before Him (see large red asterisk in attached). I think the Lord is trying to get our serious attention, don’t you?
THEREFORE, I believe it’s a pivotal prayer-time to ask the Lord for those nations that are closed to Him to become fully open to the Gospel. The harvest fields are ripening.
For example, many Iranians realise that 30 years’ Islamic rule has utterly failed. They’re desperate for the real truth of God. Previously it took one missionary a life time to bring 10 to Christ. Yet last year just one phone call served to bring 30 to salvation! Multitudes are responding to dramatic personal visitations and miracles direct from the Lord, as well as through satellite/phone evangelism. (Dr Hormoz Shariat, Iran Alive Ministries.)

However, as regards these events (Egypt and Saudi-USA rift) it’s far more important to seek the Lord on any connection to His Word and on how He sees them, and to ask about His plans. In this connection we’d watched the prophetic intercessor Dutch Sheets on this issue.
On 13 January (2011) Nathan Morris was off with ‘flu from the revival meeting in Mobile, Alabama. However, Dutch stood in for him and taught about it being a true revival and become so significant outpouring of the Holy Spirit it would be the start of a ‘Third Great Awakening’. He said this is indicated by an unsurpassed number of medically attested miracles and salvations amongst the young.
Afterwards, Dutch went into intercession for a number of nations, but stopped and fervently declared he believed he’d just heard that the Lord is going to move super-naturally across the Middle East with dreams, visions and miracles. He claimed the Lord would be doing what evangelists cannot do in these closed lands and bring whole Muslim villages to salvation in Jesus. [NOTE below]

Dutch’s descriptions reminded me of a vision of holy fire sweeping up the eastern side of Africa from Mozambique (where Rolland and Heidi Baker have brought whole Muslim provinces to Jesus), up to Sudan and Egypt and then into the Arabian peninsula! Even so, the one who would usurp God’s throne will no doubt get stirred up. So we shall see…

Friends, At a ladies’ regular house gathering in a village near Guildford, guest speaker ‘H’ was eloquently forthright about the situation here in comparison with her homeland of Egypt. There ordinary Muslims would expect Christians to be as fervent as they are in their faith.
[I’m only too aware of the current persecution of our Coptic brethren, possibly because that’s where the Muslim Brotherhood took root and which is pressing for political power in the event of President Mubarak’s demise. One of its martyred leaders is regarded as the founding father of modern jihad and its deeply doctrinaire targeting on all fronts of America and Europe.
You may recall my having quoted Miracles Among Muslims by Christine Darg. So, it was good to hear ‘H’ say over a million Egyptian Muslims secretly believe in Jesus and that Middle Eastern believers are migrating to the relatively more tolerant Egypt. [NB: 2 years ago!]
‘H’ mentioned the Lord had advised her not to regard outward events as being of His will but to look for His redemptive plan for nations. Thus, she gained insight into the Isaiah 19 prophecy regarding Egypt, Israel and Assyria (ie Iraq) – which is also a pillar for Canon Andrew White’s reconciliation work in Baghdad, Jerusalem and Cairo!! [See previous post.]
Perhaps the serendipitous references to this scripture came in answer to my thoughts upon Acts 1:6-7? When answering the disciples’ query on restoring the kingdom to Israel, could Jesus have had in mind Father’s strategy to fulfil that prophecy?? What do you think, my friend? Some teach that Jesus rebuked them because they were mistaken about God’s purposes. But surely Jesus would have explicitly said so?
Let’s remember when He upset them by saying He was going away to prepare a place for them in Father’s house, He explained: “Were it not so I would have told you” (John 14.2). Surely, Jesus would have applied that same teaching principle when answering their question about Israel’s future, wouldn’t He?
Jesus’ answer was not an emphatic “No” but rather a “Not yet and it’s not for me to say – I have a something else for you”.
Friends – did a prophetic word pop into my previous mailing? (Also with some intriguing ‘synchronicity’, as below!) Previously, after having written on a scripture, I didn’t know what to put and thought, “You know all about it Lord, so over to you”. Hence my wording below (now in red).

My previous was relatively brief to avoid taking up a lot of your time. That meant omitting many details, one of which is the reason for the pundits’ alarm. There had been talk of an imperative strike to take out the nuclear reactor. But that had to be executed before it went live to avoid woeful repercussions, as in the ‘Chernobyl incident’. [Over 600 fires in Russia have resurrected the radioactive perils arising from many nuclear incidents – seereport.]
The reactor at Bushehr has become operational. On the previous day, Iran test-fired its latest missile (the words “Ya Mahdi” written on its side!), the US ‘reassured’ (!!) Israel that Iran is still a year away from making an atom bomb, and announced the resumption of Israel-Palestinian peace talks. (Debka, however, reported sources close to President Abbas quoted him as saying direct talks were not in the offering because a “big military surprise awaits the Middle East”!! It’s known that all four armies in the region are on a full war-footing.) Furthermore, Israel’s hands were tied by a secret US-Russian deal!! [Debkareport].
SO, presumably Obama thinks he must do something to earn that fatuous Noble Peace Prize endowed at the start of his office! BUT he’s thus tied USA into the Gog-Magog alliance of Russia, Iran, Turkey & Syria, (Ezekiel 38 refers) thereby fully confirming his own anti-Israel stance. (We can draw our own conclusions about the consequences for USA.)
AND HOW VERY INTERESTING that the question of Obama’s being a Moslem has blown up just in time for all these events! (You may recall my reservations on his professed Christianity in view of his Cairo speech and deliberate championing of ‘gay pride’?) The White House say his Christian belief is obvious – some pastors agree – BUT, whether Christian or Moslem, he ignores God’s holy word and His commands – YET, now his administration is turning America away from God and taking it back to ‘the days of Noah and Lot’, perhaps the Lord may be using Obama to bring about His purposes?

Russian President Putin has caught the West off-balance by announcing that Iran’s first nuclear reactor at Bushehr will be loaded with fuel rods this Saturday, way ahead of the proposed schedule that’s part of UN discussions. [Debkareport.]
Once that happens the balance of power in the region tilts completely as all Sunni Muslim States in Persian Gulf will have to turn away from a weak USA and kowtow to an extremist Shiite regime – ONE THAT HAS THREATENED TO ANNHILATE ISRAEL and will have the ability to carry out its intentions and achieve Hitler’s goal far more efficiently and effectively. Both Iran’s President and supreme spiritual leader anticipate an apocalyptic war heralding the appearance of their crescent-moon god’s Mahdi (accompanied by Jesus!) and bringing peace to a world that’s come into the ‘house of submission’.
The good thing about this is that all the rational Sunni Arab leaders are wanting America and/or Israel to take out the facilities (as they did with Iraq’s and Syria’s reactors). But Israel would have to go it alone as Obama wouldn’t commit to action. Debka’s sourcesreportan Iranian phantom fighter and unidentified drones crashing nearby and into the reactor buildings.

Regarding all this, may I bounce the following off you?
I recall a speaker saying satan is attempting to bring forward End-Time events in order to nullify God’s schedule and thereby wrong-foot God. His logic, perhaps, is to avoid his demise in the Lake of Fire? The revelation Jesus received from God and which He gave to John states that will happen after He returns and defeats satan. Prophecy points to this being centred on Jerusalem and the Jews will at last recognise Jesus as their true messiah.
The obvious way out of this scenario is to ensure there are no Jews whatso-ever left alive for Jesus to come back for and, if Jerusalem is still standing, then it’s population should be followers of a false god. Indeed, Hasan Nasrallah, head of Hezbollah (Party of God!), wants all Jews to come to Israel because that makes it so much easier to despatch them in one fell swoop!! [Hezbollah in Lebanon serves as Iran’s proxy terrorists and is a large part of the Lebanese army.]
NOT IF, BUT WHEN, Iran goes nuclear then the world faces a completely different ballgame. AND with America’s leader…having outraged most Americans over a mosque planned close by the war-cemetry of Ground Zero, then Israel is on its own.
It’s so good to be on the winning side! May the Lord of the Harvest help us quickly bring in ‘the full number of gentiles’.

CLEARLY, the time is almost upon us for us to see the Lord once again fight for his Jewish people, now they’re in the land He promised – especially now that the WHOLE WORLD including UK HAS GANGED UP AGAINST THEM – AND Israel’s military seems to have inexplicably become incompetent !
Let’s recall God’s promise:
“I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling…On that day when all nations of the earth are gathered against her (as in the UN?) I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to (re)move it will injure themselves…”(Zach 12:2-3)
Perhaps He will do this by fulfilling the prophecy He gave against Gaza (ie Philistia) – Ezek 25:15-17is well worth a personal perusal !! Maybe that scripture’s fulfillment will also answerPsalm 83?

£/Euro/US Finances
Immersed in the deluge of Polling Day’s reports one’s attention could easily miss mention of a massive dip on US stock market, which ‘baffled Wall Street’, and the White House even suspected sabotage (see attached from in-house Christian correspondent Bill Koenig)! And last weekend all European leaders’ attention was firmly fixed upon our dire financial situation.
Interesting to note that Greece, the foundational state of western civilization, is being hammered – could this be connected to the European and American rejection of the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob? ALSO, seven weeks ago America’s foundational states in New England had exceptionally severe storms with parts of Rhode Island & Massachusetts declared as disaster areas whilst the latter’s senator was talking to Israel’s enemy, Syria. AND in Washington, president Obama had not only insulted PM Netanyahu during his visit but also refused to recognise Israel’s claim to Jerusalem as its capital – contrary to the Lord’s foundational choice!
Gulf of Mexico Oil-Spill
In his latest weekly report Bill Koenig makes most intriguing comments upon BP’s historic role, viz:
“The Anglo-Persian oil company that became British Petroleum in 1954 pressured the League of Nations and the British government to back off on their commitment to the Balfour agreement; thus, Israel received a small percent of the land intended for it.
At the time of the Balfour Agreement (1917), the saying was “the sun never set on the British empire” because they had so much land worldwide. Today, the British have lost control of the same percentage of land that they had reneged on with Israel in the Balfour agreement.
The Exxon Valdez accident happened less than 48 hours after George H.W. Bush and James Baker opened talks with the Palestinians on March 22, 1989. The Valdez accident began late the night of March 23 with the first spill at 12:05 a.m. on March 24.
The Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico began on April 20 at the very time Obama’s team was pressuring Israel to restart talks.
The two largest oil spills in U.S. history corresponded to U.S. actions on Israel’s covenant land. They have also caused America to forego more offshore exploration and become even more reliant on rogue nations for oil.
…Barack Obama may have to answer for the millions in campaign contributions he’s taken from the oil and gas giant [BP] over the years ”
Peace in Middle East?
‘Co-incidentally’ to Lance Lambert hearing from the Lord, on 18 April Iran’s president again voiced his implicit intentions of completing Hitler’s ‘final solution’:
“The Zionist regime is on its way to collapse. This regime is the main instigator of sedition and conflict in the region,” the Iranian president added. “This is the will of the regional nations that after 60 odd years, the root of this corrupt microbe and the main reason for insecurity in the region be pulled out Its supporters and creators ought to stop backing it and allow the regional nations and the Palestinians to settle things with them…”
It’s worth noting, therefore, that the Icelandic volcano spread ashes over northern Europe during Holocaust Remembrance Week 11-18 April !!

Buried beneath the daily dross of parliamentary piracy and ‘privilege-to-pilfer’ are momentous events concerning the Holy Land. I’ve kept close tabs with those who monitor Middle-Eastern machinations and watched a maelstrom gather momentum over the months.
Altho’ our gaze as believers is toward heavenly Jerusalem, it’s right not to overlook our God of Israel’s heart for actual Jerusalem and His covenant people. His intention and warning to the nations given through Zechariah (ch 12) still apply – and Ezekiel 38 opposition is moving into alliances. Hence, the world’s continual concern with Jerusalem and Israel.
Today, that storm comes to a climax as Prime Minister Netanyahu meets President Obama to discuss the latter’s 2-state solution for the Middle-East.
You may know that this involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! (It’s reported Obama wanted to be able to use Iran’s territory for supplying US troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan.)
Also, there’s been dismay in Cairo and Riyadh over his courting the terrorist mentors in Teheran. No wonder Egypt and S.Arabia – both kept militarily informed by Israel – and five Gulf emirates turned a deaf ear to Pres. Obama’s secret (and 3rd) delegation seeking hundreds of billions dollars investment in US and global economic stimulus plans! It’s reported, however, that over the weekend a political furore gripped Washington and frayed Obama’s key policies.
The Bush and Obama administrations’ misguided intentions are to establish a terrorist-run nation within the ancient home-land of Judea/Israel. The consequences for USA in betraying its ally Israel could be severe, as when Bush wanted to trade land for peace (as collated by the accredited White House correspondent Wm Koenig). The Lord gave detailed warnings of judgement in Nov ’99 which included not only last year’s collapse of stocks but also the betrayal of Israel by Western allies!
Last week’s papal visit to the Holy Land may result in UN military units (ie. ‘armies of the nations’) in and around Jerusalem. Koenig has also noted that papal pronouncements contrary to God’s purposes for His Land have soon been followed by revelations of sexual scandal within the Roman hierarchy – so wait and watch.
United Kingdom
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter days…terrible times will come…” wrote Paul to disciple Timothy. The second letter gave many explicit details, all of which are now common-place – ie. the prophecy is fulfilled in its entirety today!
Could Paul’s reference to the prevention of marriage (at 1Tim4:3) be construed as also meaning any kind of alteration to this God-ordained covenant?
Hence, how entirely appropriate that those who’ve deliberately spurned His requirements and commands in making our laws are themselves now being turned upside down. And, as indicated in Hebrews 12:23-27 could we not expect lots more shaking? Could that visionary map I saw being ripped apart be the political map of England? I wonder…
Let’s remember Psalm 122 instruction, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you…”, that we may earnestly seek its welfare.

A strong disagreement between two international Christian leaders about the relevance of a scripture to accountability of a controversial evangelist – both of whom Nina and I knew personally through our prayer ministry training and through the Lord enabling her to walk again (see From ‘Disabled’ to Enabled) – led to an awesome personal revelation that prompted me months later to start emailing some friends and church leaders on End-times.
Hence, I began watching events for ‘signs’ and eight years later got an inkling that evil tares are now ripening and asked the Lord about exposing them. His answer kick-started several hundred posts (see Prophecies-Fulfilled hub’s Exposure of Corruption)
So, as in following copy email, the main points covered in my first writing are.:

Dear Friends – further to Rev’d William Smith’s recent request re Christian Freedom, may I offer some observations upon our times and, in another message, suggest a way forward?
Last year, I encountered two conflicting claims about Jesus’ explanation of the parable on the end-time harvest of wheat and tares (Matt13:36). So I went to check scripture but upon opening my Bible a deep excitement exploded within as I heard, “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” – WOW!!
Hence, my previous remarks about a sifting of the Church – in preparation for a rapid ‘sHifting’?Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins:> “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (ch21:36) and chpt 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators (Acts 3:20-1, Hebrews 12:26-7, 2 Peter 3, 2 Timothy 3 and the first and second letters to the Thessalonians).
Have you studied or read/heard/given any teaching on this topic lately?So, let’s watch closely what’s happening here and globally. When I’m by a news stand it’s noticeable that the Daily Telegraph is the only paper to headline matters of Christian concern – several within a fortnight recently. Eg. on 6 Feb it broke the news of Nurse Caroline Petrie’s suspension for offering to pray for a patient with front page headline ‘NHS staff face sack if they discuss religion’. (Daily Mail often supports Christians.)
We took exception to this and wrote to N.Somerset PCT saying we were glad their policy wasn’t in effect 3 years ago when Nina was fighting for her life! (I explained it was only because the night-duty nurse prayed that her throat immediately opened and she became peaceful, as shown on her monitor’s read-out.) So, we’re pleased to learn Caroline has been allowed to return to work, but I’m challenging the PCT’s ‘equality’ stance.
However, this is just one instance of the growing persecution of believers, principally through a policy supposedly promoting toleration but that’s now a tyrannical tool of intolerance – Equality & Diversity. There are other powers of suppression. Even the previous director of MI5 warns about UK sleep-walking into a police state (‘Abject nonsense’ responded a gov’t minister who lives on another planet). Rampant lawlessness now exists not only in society but also within legal authorities – laws not approved by Parliament – ‘snoop and snitch’ culture – correction punished and evil behaviour rewarded – ID cards and routine interception of email and phones – etc etc. Clearly, Banking isn’t the only thoroughly corrupt UK institution.
Let us, however, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we await the blessed hope of His glorious appearing.May the Lord bless you and keep you and yours,
