Monday newsmix #1 – Lordship of Jesus Christ over Britain and our government

A great deal is happening not only in the news but also on personally, as well as lots for this blog. Kindly bear with me whilst I dash out items and hope you won’t feel flooded.

We start with this from the Keep Praying and Bless cycle, to which I referred regarding Ireland in both footnotes to the word Emma Stark brought from Belfast last month.

We’ve repeated this since 2012 and this morning found ourselves at Day 69, which just so ‘happens’ to be for WESTMINSTER! (click/tap for full story)

Although its original date was 26 July 2012, perhaps you’d like to join us in praying the following for blessing everyone living and working in Westminster, especially parliament and the government, and for the protection of Great Britain and Ireland:

Decree: “I AM THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES”

“Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2: 9-11)

“We decree that: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER, and that HIS NAME IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME. AT HIS NAME EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT “JESUS IS LORD”, TO THE GLORY OF GOD. WE DECREE THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE BRITISH ISLES IS ON HIS SHOULDERS!”

Aaronic Blessing: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, The Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace. Thus, we put His name upon you and He will bless you’ (Numbers 6:24-27).

“We bless the nations and islands of the British Isles with knowing and believing that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father, and we bless them with bowing the knee to the name of Jesus.”

Plus the prayer Jesus taught followed by a prayer of protection:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven; give us our daily ‘bread’ and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us; lead us not to into testing but deliver us from the evil one, for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory.

“Almighty Father, we come to You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, and in that mighty Name we break the power of every strategy and assignment sent against the British Isles and Ireland, and against ourselves and (names….).

“We pray the mighty covering of the Living Blood of Jesus Christ over ourselves (and named persons) villages, towns and cities; over our coastlands, seaports and airports; over our roadways, railways, waterways and ferries.

“We ask that You release the angelic host to protect us from every spiritual and terrorist attack – especially our landmarks and each member of the royal family person and their premises and in public.

“Lift each citizen above every circumstance and crisis. We affirm the finished work of Christ over all demonic forces and decree: no weapon formed against the plans and purposes for the British Isles and Ireland will prosper. We also decree: no longer will violence be heard in our land, or destruction within or at our borders. We bless the atmosphere to be charged with peace and order. Amen’” (Isaiah 54:17 & 60:18)

Prophecy Update 2.1: Press reports ‘no deal’ Brexit is ‘back from the dead’!

LATEST NEWS noted on Telegraph online in this posted at 2:17 pm under headline (my emphases),

Brexit Essentials: how a no-deal Brexit has come back from the dead – ‘If there’s one thing we do know about Parliament it’s that it really doesn’t like the idea of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit. MPs have voted against it on three separate occasions. None of those was legally-binding, but it did seem that last week MPs really had killed the idea off – they would force Theresa May to get a long Brexit extension or, at worst, back her deal, leaving ‘no-deal’ dead and buried.’

‘Yet now, ‘no-deal’ is hauling itself out of the grave and stalking the House of Commons once again. How has that happened? The answer lies within the Conservative Party.

‘Time and again, the PM has shown that she will choose party unity over anything else. Theresa just does not want to be the Prime Minister who split the Conservative Party for good. So this week, even though there was no sign of MPs backing her deal at the third time of asking, and a long delay to Brexit seemed to be the only option left, she caved to her party’s demands and asked for only a short extension.

‘Theresa probably didn’t even want a long extension. It was a useful tool to scare her backbenchers into supporting her. But it looks like the scare she gave them was too good, and instead of meekly surrendering, her MPs have come out swinging…’

This claim is closely (ie. not by direct, literal reference) related to what Veronika West prophesied on 8th January and reiterated last Friday, 15th March about a death being reversed. GPS #30.1: Mighty army told to “March Forth!” (on March fourth)

Monday 4th March saw the start of Lent Week of Prayer at the church we attend. One of its aims is to refocus our lives on all God has for us and give an opportunity to get rid of clutter hindering our relationship with Him. To help us in this, thematic displays had been set up for contemplative prayer in the chapel. We arrived at the same time as the rector for Monday evening’s prayers, but after having led a long worship and prayer session on his guitar he needed to leave for an appointment…

However, Nina’s email of Tuesday morning updated him on what happened…

WELL, WHAT NEXT!

‘Dear Val, Thank you for the wonderful worship yesterday evening. It was very special. Then you left the 3 of us and then……….!!!!!!!!

‘We carried on praying for a short while and then I had an extraordinary picture which I shared with Richard and N because I knew it was important.

‘It was in black and white and was a scene from an old war movie. The pilots were sitting around outside, by the Nissan huts, waiting for the alarm call so they could jump to attention and get into action [‘Scramble!’ thinks Richard].

‘As I spoke this N suddenly said, “That was the Battle of Britain!” Britain is in another battle right now so we prayed on for a short while. Then I said, “We need to remember the picture and the date”. Suddenly N said, “March Forth!”

‘He didn’t say it is the fourth of March or March the fourth, he said “March Forth!” [Each of us intuitively knew that difference.]

‘By then we were standing and agreed that as members of The Lord’s Army we needed ears to hear His clarion call and ACT!

‘Richard added that this all confirms what he’d read earlier on the very same topic’!

Jesus Christ’s teaching: Foundation for Life — Fellowship of the Secret

Here my namesake covers verses that often nudge me because not only do they follow Jesus’ instruction not to judge one another and point the finger, but also the version at Matthew 7:21-27 brings a stern admonition that’s personally pertinent: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you, depart from Me you who practise lawlessness!”

GPS #29: “The Day of Reckoning is now upon the Church”

What I’d blogged last week can now be seen as the conjunction of a ‘God-incidence’, or God’s GPS (Global Prophecy Signals), on the parable of the wheat and the tares:

Wed 27th Feb: republished prophetic insight brought by Chris Bennett on chapters 34 and 37 of Ezekiel as being applicable ‘now’, which includes: “I WILL SHAKE MY CHURCH FIRST TO EXPOSE THE BAD AND TO THEN BUILD UP THE GOOD. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES, AND THE BEGINNING OF JUDGEMENT, FOR DOES MY WORD NOT SAY THAT JUDGEMENT SHALL BEGIN WITH MY CHURCH?”

So yes please Lord, let’s see it happening at long, long last because it’s You who’s re-building Your ekklesia. Yet, I bless you Lord that the deep divisions decades ago which made me reject you and seek truth in the ‘new age’, were actually within Your purposes and plans for my life and destiny in You.

In view of recent perturbations within His Bride across the United Kingdom it was very timely and a heartening reminder to hear the visiting speaker at church, and leader of Iris Global in India, distinctly emphasise,

“Nobody died so that we may judge!”

10 years ago: ‘time-bomb’ in my Bible blew up in my face!

Wanting to verify Peter’s grousing about John’s grasp of Jesus’ parable ‘the wheat and tares’, I grabbed my Bible to look at the Gospel of Matthew…BUT IT BLEW UP IN MY FACE! – metaphorically, that is.

I’d opened it many times before without that ever happening. Had someone sneaked into the house overnight, cut and scooped out the inside of my thick tome and put a pressure-sensitive stick of spiritual dynamite inside?? Or, had some clever being, the Holy Spirit even, already known when I’d be checking on a topic that’s churning around within my mind – a specific simile on the Kingdom of God – and arranged for me to be zapped at that precise instant?

This time upon opening it, however, a supernatural flash exploded within my mind. It didn’t go >>BANG<< but EXCITEMENT EXPLODED within my spirit as I heard,

“THIS IS ALL ABOUT TO BE FULFILLED!”

That unforgettable, formative event had its origin in 2008’s controversial ‘outpouring’ led by Todd Bentley at Lakeland, Florida. We’d known of him from a few years earlier and had attended an inspiring conference in Dudley where he’d taught in depth on the Holy Spirit as he energetically motored through the Bible for over 10 hours daily! However, in 2008 he allowed personal sin to overtake him and thus stumbled from grace; but ‘good Samaritan’ Rick Joyner came alongside to direct and assist in his restoration. A part of the problem was Todd’s failure to be accountable, despite the efforts of his Canadian church’s leadership.

At that time Peter Horrobin, director of Ellel Ministries, was staunchly opposed to what was happening and the ‘lassez-faire’ (my term) attitude of N. American churches’ top leaders. John Arnott of Toronto was of the opinion the Lord would deal with it, as may be inferred from the parable of the wheat and tares – but Peter firmly disagreed with such a flimsy handle on an important part of pastoral and spiritual oversight.

On top of that controversy I’d been noticing since the attack eight years earlier on the twin towers in New York a few things happening that were biblically related. So, after my inner explosion I began taking those things more seriously and realised the need for more Christians to become aware of the prophetical implications of scripture.

Therefore on 28th February 2009, 10 years ago today, I emailed friends and the church leaders whom I knew personally, as follows:

THE ENDGAME IS NOW IN PLAY

‘Dear Friends – further to Rev’d Bill Smith’s recent request re Christian Freedom, may I offer some observations upon our times and, in another message, suggest a way forward?

‘Last year, I encountered two conflicting claims about Jesus’ explanation of the parable on the end-time harvest of wheat and tares (Matt13:36). So I went to check scripture but upon opening my Bible a deep excitement exploded within as I heard, “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” – WOW!!

‘Hence, my previous remarks about a sifting of the Church – in preparation for a rapid ‘sHifting’? Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins:> “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (ch21:36) and chpt 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators (Acts 3:20-1, Hebrews 12:26-7, 2 Peter 3, 2 Timothy 3 and the first and second letters to the Thessalonians).

‘Have you studied or read/heard/given any teaching on this topic lately? So, let’s watch closely what’s happening here and globally…’

That two-part email continued by drawing attention to:

case of a nurse who was sacked for praying for patient. We took exception to this and wrote to N.Somerset PCT saying so pleased their policy wasn’t in effect when Nina was fighting for her life when no doctor was present to perform tracheotomy! (A nurse who was there only for that night (!) asked her if she could pray for her. She did so in tongues and Nina’s throat immediately opened; she became calm and at peace, as verified on her monitor’s read-out.)

THUS, began my calling to write on the relevance of Bible and contemporary prophecy to current events, and the next month’s double-email Not Many People Know referred to the EU’s 666 connection!

This was soon followed by a confirmation whilst attending a school on prophecy on 21st May 2009 at Winchester Vineyard church and led by internationally renowned teacher Isabel Allum.

Isabel was led to prophesy for individuals in the audience. Walking straight up to the two of us, she discerned for me, “An impartation like Daniel had is going to come into you and you will start understanding the ‘riddles’ of the Lord in a different way – the gift of interpretation itself as Daniel and Joseph had is going to come to you and God is going to open up your understanding to hear from heaven.”

As my writing started soon after Barack Obama’s inauguration as President of the USA, many of my emails would cover his involvement in the Middle-East (see Obama’s Cairo Speech…Europe and Two Daniels…).

Therefore, I was encouraged to continue writing a couple or so emails a month until, by mid-2011, I was getting distinct ‘digs in the ribs’ to circulate to a far wider audience. The dream of seeing and realising the Kingdom is being set up in Britain, as told here, made me determined to deliver on those ‘nudges’ by launching this blog with some trepidation on 21st November 2011.

What had, however, had first piqued my curiosity in Bible prophecy and End-times as an anti-Christian was my reading a secular book in mid-1980s about the convergence of Jewish, Christian and Islamic calendars with historical events in the Holy Land and Jerusalem. ‘Coincidentally’, what was showing on TV of elite units of Iranian and Iraqi armies rehearsing the liberation of Jerusalem (despite their being at war!!) plugged straight into what I noticed whilst I was flicking through The Invisible Hand.

Since starting this blog time I’ve noted the increasing incidence of those ‘Gog-Magog’ events, even an impediment over the blog’s second anniversary to writing about Iran! To read about Bible-related current events see Bible Updates tag (note: not exhaustive).

TODAY’S RELEVANCE OF THE BIBLE

In addition to the increasing prophetical focus this year on the wheat and tares parable, as in the previous post, we’re now, 10 years after my having that revelation, watching the direct relevance of the Bible’s predictions in everybody’s everyday life! It predicts precisely what happens today when – of all things – people go shopping!

That is, the Holy Bible states in writing that, instead of handing over cash to buy goods, people will be waving their hands, or some indicative marking they’re got in or on their hands! In other words, contactless payments – the cashless society!

Check it for yourself in the Book of Revelation: ‘no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark of the beast on their right hand’ (Rev 13:17).

However, as the main part of that book after the first three chapters is highly symbolical then we’re not necessarily talking about a specific sign on a person’s hand or forehead. To consider this further you may like to read whether the ‘mark of the beast’ is a spiritual sign, as claimed in RFID, Technology and The Mark. (NB. End-Times Prophecy is 7th Day Adventist website which I’ve yet to check in any depth.)

Chris Bennett on Ezekiel 34 & 37 – bad shepherds and renewal of the Church

I thank the Lord and UK Prophetic Words for bringing this from Chris Bennett to my attention as I don’t recall anyone teaching on Ezekiel 34 since 25 years ago! It is very helpful to those who, like me, have been deeply concerned with these issues over the past month, and may answer our concerns and queries:

‘The Lord just revealed something to me. I don’t think for one moment I’m the only one hearing this, but this is the confirmation of what’s been brewing in me for several days.

‘The Lord is saying that NOW is that Ezekiel 34 moment – the exposing of the bad shepherds. Those who have led their flock through the wide, easy gate; who have omitted so much from the gospel and from the salvation experience.

‘Those who have suppressed and grieved Holy Spirit, forcing Him to be more a spectator than contributor in their services. Those who, in Ezekiel’s own words, have grown fat without feeding the flock, or who have denied healing to the sick, succour to the poor, and justice to widows and orphans.

‘The Lord is exposing and deposing such shepherds – “THEY SHALL FALL!”, says the Lord, “BECAUSE THEY DISHONOUR MY NAME AND MY PEOPLE!! THEY FOLLOW THEIR OWN SINFUL PATH WHILE DESTROYING THOSE IN THE FLOCK WHO DO THE SAME THING! HYPOCRITES!!! THEY DO NOT PREACH MY GOSPEL NOR MY SALVATION, RATHER, THEY LEAD MY PEOPLE ASTRAY AND THEN CAST THEM ASIDE IN FAVOUR OF THEIR OWN EVIL SCHEMES !!!”, says the Lord.

‘Then the Lord showed me a wonderful Ezekiel 37 moment of prophesying to the bones then prophesying to the breath. He showed me the Valley of Dry Bones – the bones coming together. He told me to prophesy over these bones and, as I did so, the Lord showed me the army of the Lord here on earth, the church, coming together in unity once again. As I watched them, the Lord commanded me to prophesy to the breath, as in Ezekiel 37, “Command the breath, their voice, to return!” As I did so, I heard the sound of a roar coming from the resurrected army – a roar of authority and of the power of the Lord.

‘Having watched the shepherds exposed and the dry bones resurrected, the Lord spoke once again:

“I WILL SHAKE MY CHURCH FIRST TO EXPOSE THE BAD AND TO THEN BUILD UP THE GOOD. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES, AND THE BEGINNING OF JUDGEMENT, FOR DOES MY WORD NOT SAY THAT JUDGEMENT SHALL BEGIN WITH MY CHURCH?”

‘As I thought about this, the Lord continued,

“I SHALL BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO MY CHURCH, MY PEOPLE. MY CHURCH, MY BRIDE, SHALL RETURN TO MY GOSPEL INCLUDING FAITH, REPENTANCE, SALVATION, AND DISCIPLING, FOLLOWED BY THE RESTORATION OF ALL THE GIFTS OF MY SPIRIT. THEN FAITH, LOVE, SIGNS AND WONDERS SHALL BE THE HALLMARK OF MY PEOPLE.”

‘I felt the Lord had finished speaking, but He gave me a final question for all of us – When pastors start to fall, who will shepherd their flock? In this coming season, ‘all that can be shaken’ includes pastors being exposed and falling. Who will shepherd the flock then?

‘I heard the words, “The House Church movement will return just like the first church, 2000 years ago!” There is a hunger for this yet a rejection of the ‘church as usual’ mentality that pervades the body today. It’s the days of personal church meetings – small groups gathering for fellowship, often a meal, a time of teaching and discipling, with occasional larger group meetings when we all get together in celebration. I see much joy, great faith building, and miracles being the order of the day – every day! And evangelism will be rampant – church will be a lifestyle, no longer a social scene, but our way of life IN JESUS!!

‘HALLELUJAH !!!!’

About 25 years ago the Lord pointed me to Ezekiel 34 and I thought it may relate to my cell-group leadership’s inability to help me with my ‘New Age’ background. However, my godly pastor Barry Kirk at Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist) kindly encouraged me to seek deeper ministry help. And so I was intrigued to learn that a recent Ellel Ministries ‘Battle for the Mind’ conference had specifically covered Ezekiel 34!

Clifford Hill on God’s turning disaster into prosperity

Am pleased to learn the opening news in the reverend doctor’s latest editorial (click title below for link), as well as his aligning with what I’d heard elsewhere (footnotes refer). I particularly note his closing remarks about a coming spiritual awakening and revival:

TURNING DISASTER INTO PROSPERITY

God Is Working His Purposes Out.

Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking to a packed fringe meeting at the Church of England Synod in Westminster. There were a number of bishops and clergy of all ranks and the general atmosphere was one of deep concern for the state of the nation. The meeting was in Church House alongside Westminster Abbey and I think we were all aware of events across the road, where our politicians are struggling with seemingly intractable problems.

If any of those attending the meeting came expecting, or even hoping for, easy answers or joyful tidings, I’m afraid they would have gone away disappointed. The primary message I had to give was that God holds the Church responsible for the moral and spiritual state of the nation. I had been asked to speak about my latest book, ‘The Reshaping of Britain: Church and State since the 1960s’. I spoke about the last four Archbishops of Canterbury who I’ve known and worked alongside; and I spoke about the lack of a prophetic voice from the Church giving leadership to the nation in a time of revolutionary social, economic and political change.

It was not a comfortable message and in the short time of discussion it was clear that there are no easy answers to the situation. How do you bring creative, biblically-based change into an organisation as massive as the Church of England? I was only able to repeat what I’ve said so many times that there will be no revival in the nation until there is repentance in the Church. Of course, this is no easy message for those who are dealing with a multitude of pastoral problems in their congregations.

Right Understanding

One of the clergy asked, “Should we be encouraging young people in our churches to go into politics?” I know it is a very lonely and difficult place for Christians in the House of Commons at present. If there were a significant number of those who uphold biblical values and whose trust is in God, it would undoubtedly change the dynamics of politics and that should be a future hope and objective for all church leaders.

But I think it would take away a lot of our fear about the present political mess in the nation and our vast array of social problems if we simply understood what is going on. This means discerning the difference between the social engineering that has been driving the nation for the past 40 or 50 years generated by secular humanist advocates, and what is divine activity initiated by God.

Most Christians do not think in these terms because we do not rightly handle the whole word of God. We concentrate upon the Gospels and Epistles, but neglect to study the biblical Prophets, whom God used to reveal his nature and purposes to humanity in preparation for the coming of Messiah. Without a thorough understanding of this background we can never understand what God is doing in the world today. I said yesterday that this should be the major concern of church leaders today.

Listen to this from Isaiah 45:7: “I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.” All the Prophets recognised that God creates disaster! But he is more than ready to change disaster into prosperity!!! In fact, that is God’s purpose! He is longing to see his children enjoying the blessings of those who uphold righteousness and live by the standards of truth he has revealed in his word over many thousands of years.

Shaking All Things

God is at present shaking all the nations, as he first revealed to the Prophet Haggai in 520 BC, the significance of which for today is explained in the New Testament in Hebrews 12. You can see this in the upheavals and bitter Brexit divisions in Britain, in the rise of the populist movement in many countries throughout Europe, and in the fear of the Brussels elite at what may happen in the EU election in May this year.

You can see it in the USA, where there has never before been such bitter division between Republicans and Democrats. You can see it in the upheavals in South America, in Venezuela; similarly in Africa, especially in Nigeria in recent days, in the Middle East, in the distressing humanitarian crises in Yemen and Syria, and in many other parts of the world.

It is not only the nations that are being shaken, but all the great institutions in which we human beings put our trust – including the Church! Right now, the Roman Catholic Church is being torn asunder by having to face the sexual sins of its clergy over many decades that are being revealed to the public. Successive Popes have delayed the day of reckoning for many years, but the Vatican is having to face the uncomfortable truth that a system of forced celibacy in a social climate of sexual libertarianism is a recipe for disaster! Large numbers of clergy have misused their spiritual power for sexual gratification, exploiting vulnerable children and adults. The day of judgment has arrived, and this has not just been brought about by social pressure, but by the judgement of God

For Love

Why is God shaking everything? It may be amazing to those who do not study the whole word of God – but when God brings judgment upon the evil institutions of humanity it is an expression of his LOVE!

God so loved the world that he gave his own Son to save humanity from self-destruction. But our tiny minds simply cannot comprehend the magnitude of God’s purposes without the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit to flood his truth into our lives.

Let me give a small illustration of the great truth that I’m trying to convey. For more than 30 years I have been trying to teach a basic sociological truth that when you weaken and undermine the family, you destroy the social fabric of society, because the family is the linchpin holding everything together. This is what we have done in Western society and this is the underlying cause of knife crime, gang warfare, drug use, bullying, depression and suicide. We have crucified truth and produced an age of fake news, lies, hatred and violence, driven by the forces of darkness that we have embraced.

But amidst all this, God is working out his purposes to bring human beings to the point where they recognise that they have no solutions to the problems they have created. When they begin to cry out ‘O God, what has gone wrong?’ God knows they will be then open to the truth. He is calling upon his Church to be ready for a great spiritual awakening! Not a revival of the old institutions that we call churches, but a genuine new openness to the truth, met by a Church that genuinely both lives and declares the unchanging word of God.

That is the way disaster will be turned into prosperity! And the good news is that we may not be far from the turning point!

Re. ‘shaking’ – about 20 years ago the Lord opened Hebrews 12:18-29 to me at a house-group and I was impressed to read it aloud, although no-one followed up. Hence, my blog’s covering an increasing number of prophecies on The Shaking; eg. in ‘a new season of shaking’ and ‘a merciful but severe course correction’. I’m aware that Dr Hill’s mentioned it many times before.
Re. ‘prosperity’ – the foundational NT verse for this is central to Revd Dr Sharon Stone’s mentoring day as well as our associate minister’s message, on Sat 9th and Sun 10th February (ie. preceding Clifford Hill’s editorial): Matt 6:32-3 “…But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His Kingdom and His righteousness (his way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given to you besides…”
Sharon’s session was the first in a track on principles behind wealth creation for a nation, introducing it with: “This morning we’re at a fresh place in our covenant – everything old is being left behind as we move into a fresh phase of ‘more’.”
After having read Dr Hill’s and ProphecyTodayUK’s judgmental condemnation of other ministries at the Wembley Day of Prayer, my reaction was that it would be far more appropriate to direct it at the apostasy and support of satan’s agenda in Anglican and other churches, and calling on them to repent! So it’s good he’s at last addressed an Anglican synod – BUT, did they repent?? He doesn’t say.

The Westminster Parliament appears to be tearing itself apart. The current turmoil resembles the time before party whips came to play the role they do today. In the old days, parties were not stable: a leader could not depend on the votes of other MPs and Lords as a matter of course. Much of the time, a member of the legislature had to be persuaded or cajoled into voting in favour of a proposal.

Unity and Schism

An important and sound reflection in view of recent issues that have upset many of my readers. Am particularly pleased with Nicholas’ central emphasis on ‘accountability’, which is where the many non-traditional, modern churches can be vulnerable – yet 30 years ago ‘heavy shepherding’ gave rise to concerns and reaction to steer away from that style of pastoral oversight.
When I objected to joining a church as a possible new believer the Lord gave me the definitive answer by opening my new bible to Hebrews 13:17 – ‘Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so their work will be a joy and not a burden, for that would be no advantage too you.’ Such a clear directive was foundational to my journey along ‘The Way’!

All Along the Watchtower

Today I have spent some time reflecting on history and tradition, having watched Gavin Ashenden’s presentation on why he left the Church of England. Earlier in the week, I read a post at Cranmer’s site about the problem of schisms in politics and churches. Christianity has a long history of dividing into factions. In the very pages of Scripture we read:

“For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:11-13, NKJV)

Monday Mix: musings about previous – moderating comments

Several folk concerned over the issue covered in the previous post contacted me before and after its publication, and then Nicholas referred to that post in his Friday Miscellany. Two of his musings appear below, and it seems he discerned some points at the back of my mind but implicit in my text.

Moreover, Matthew 6:33 had turned up twice last weekend: On Sat 9th Dr Sharon Stone referred to its application as vital to prophetic strategy for blessing communities with new business developments and opportunities. Also, our church’s associate minister referred to that verse’s meaning in his Sunday message!

The Cost of the Kingdom

In His “Sermon on the Mount”, Christ talks about the cost of following Him. In my thoughts on our closeness to the return of Christ and the inception of the Millennium, I have been thinking about the cost of getting involved in God’s preparation work. Yesterday I read a post at Richard’s Watch that warned of the danger in opposing God’s work. It would be a shame if a Christian were to miss the opportunity to be involved in the great events of the end of the age. There are all sorts of barriers and obstacles that get in our way. Thinking along the lines of virtue epistemology, it seems to me that we must have an attitude of openness but not naivety. We should listen to things that are presented to us in just the same way as a court is impartial; then we should test the spirits to see if the message is of God.

Tools of the Enemy

The Enemy seeks to prevent the advance of the Kingdom of God. The more people he can keep in darkness, the more will end up in Hell. He knows that when Christ comes, he will be thrown into the Abyss for a thousand years, and then judged. So it is in Satan’s interest to forestall, if he can, the return of Christ, which is hastened by the efficacious work of the Church, empowered by the grace and Spirit of God.

One of the Enemy’s tools is causing division. He splits us by supporting and creating ideologies that fan the fire of man’s sinfulness, pitting group against group, and individual against God. Various -isms could be listed that have turned Christians against each other, and the world against the Church. The poor are turned against the rich; women against men; children against parents; the state against private individuals. If we are to overcome the Enemy, we must follow the course set out for us in Revelation: the blood of Christ and the testimony of our faith. We must find unity among true believers.

MODERATION OF COMMENTS

The strategic tools Nicholas refers are behind my rationale when moderating comments submitted to this site.

Fifty years ago I witnessed first-hand divisions across the body of Christ. Unlike today, cooperation and fellowship between churches was a rarity. As a teenager I questioned why denominations believing in the same Jesus Christ were so opposed to one another, especially as Jesus had commanded believers to love one another. Also, they did not work miracles similar to those of Jesus, as He said they would. So, churches failed on both counts to live up to their founder’s commands. I treated Christians with contempt for such hypocrisy and headed towards ‘New Age’ ideals.

Therefore, as a sinner rescued by Jesus in person thirty years ago, my preference is to encourage unity in faith and not be seen to promote ‘bashing’ with a Bible or any unduly contentious conflict. This does not, however, obviate readers’ need to be well-versed in scripture and, thus, to investigate, analyse and weigh ALL matters with the Lord. Also, as time is precious it’s necessary for me to steer away from debate.

APPROVALS

WordPress enables site administrators some flexibility in processing contributions. My initial preference was for all comments to appear online without the need for approval, which enables contributors’ subsequent items to appear free from any moderating.

Once this blog’s presence became noticed a few unwelcome remarks got deposited. The first came from a ‘bible basher’ who’d correct and argue against some material. To close his activity I had to set every comment to be approved before it could appear on the blog, which meant all regular contributors needed approving too.

To avoid repetition I set the moderation requirement to new commentators only, and any subsequent comments from them would be approved automatically. Also, I introduced the ‘Comments Caveat’ to the Home Page.

The second came from a Muslim chap with whom I had interesting dialogue elsewhere, but after his first comment here he submitted monologues. So, for a short time I had to revert to the unnecessary, time-consuming task of approving every comment .

The tell-tale sign of such submissions is the use of an alias and not a person’s own, true identity!

So ‘reds026’, I appreciate your lengthy remarks submitted over the weekend and accept your deep concern, but I hope this detailed explanation will help you understand why it seems they’ve been ignored and not published – so far. Also, I was in lengthy debate on PTUK in late 2017 about this. More material on this issue has arrived, and so all may get summarised in another post.

Fulfilled Prophecies #39 & #40 – offence at Holy Spirit’s moving; from Mozambique to Mecca

The following word published as GPS#10 on 19 December 2017 is now republished because the situation it prophesies about has been repeated. Not only did that word confirm a vision received the same day 120 miles away, but also it spoke into a debate I’d been having in-depth over many days on a website purporting to cover prophecy!

In a Vision of Entrants to the Kingdom and Players in a Pigpen, Simon Braker of Leicester notes,

‘..It was at this point that I noticed there were other people in front of the door. Most of them ignored the Holy Spirit; others actually argued with Him when He directed them to a door to enter through. Still others were trying to climb up to the high doors but they would keep falling; each time they fell they became more and more bitter.

‘I then saw another group; they were shouting, ”You must only come through this door,” and not only did they try to force people through it, but they also tried to stop people going through the other doors the Holy Spirit was directing them to.

‘I could see that as a new door opened for a person it would sit upon the other open doors that person had, so each new door sat upon the others.

‘I then saw another group of people to the side of the door; they were all together rolling around in the mud in a pigpen. They were blind to their door for the mud covered their eyes; I could see many had been in the mud so long that they had begun to rot in the midst of it.

‘Upon the door I saw the words – THE REVELATION OF THE CHRIST AND HIS KINGDOM.’

That day in Kingston-upon-Thames, Brett Dewey writes in THOSE HOLDING ON TO OFFENCE WILL NOT ENTER INTO THE NEXT MOVE OF GOD’S SPIRIT:

‘During My time of fasting and praying in October (2017) I was given a dream. In my dream I was standing upon an old wall overlooking the ocean. I pointed out towards the ocean and began to prophesy:

“A WAVE IS COMING, A WAVE IS COMING!”

‘Next thing I could see, there was a huge wave which was rolling in from the back. The wave came in and went half way up the beach. An old lady was on the beach and the water came to her feet. Even though she had wellington boots on she didn’t like the water being on her feet and walked off the beach.

‘I was again on the wall and looked out to the sea and began to prophesy “A WAVE IS COMING, A WAVE IS COMING”. Straight away a huge wave came in from the back.

‘This time the wave came right up to the beach and completely covered it. There was, however, a divider between the waters and right over the back on the right hand side, some distance from the shore, were a small group of people playing in the surf and having fun on their surf boards, enjoying the wave.

‘I then looked and I was standing by a teal green fence and it was like I was holding onto a fence. A woman who was standing on an old wall a little higher than the fence started trying to prophesy to me, but when I looked into her eyes she was of another Spirit not the Holy Spirit – so I called fire on her and she disappeared out my dream.

‘I then heard the Spirit of God speak saying:

“Those that are holding on to offence will not be able to enter in to the next wave of My Spirit.”

‘Also the woman prophesying that wasn’t of God presented herself as a Prophet, but was a woman who was a Christian; in offence she had been prophesying out of a divination spirit – as those in offence open the door to function from that Spirit when allowing it in – WATCH FOR THIS!

‘I first took the dream personally as a warning for me not to enter into offence – but later while attending a connect group in our Church, I felt led to release it – shortly after for the next few weeks I had fun walking out this word as that Spirit of Offence came through different vessels trying to find access to my life and calling, but never prevailed.

‘November’s 2017 Fire conference on the Saturday – I again saw this Spirit of Offence. I began asking the Lord what this was and had I offended him in any way – I began repenting – The Lord said that there would be many who would be offended because of Him. I felt a peace and a witness that what He was going to do in the next wave of glory would be offensive to many – especially people that had no room for GOD’S sovereignty in their mindsets.

‘I was also was reminded about the old woman, whom I believe represented an old Church, in my dream above – perhaps one set in religion, or tradition passed down – she didn’t like what the Spirit did and didn’t want to be in the water, which depending on the colour, represents the Spirit. She was stuck in tradition and legalism and hadn’t grasped the concepts of GOD’S enormous grace and sovereignty.

‘I also believe the Lord encourages us not to be offended if other churches despise you or are offended, because you let God’s work be done and His Spirit manifest in all his Glory in the midst of your meetings. Hold fast to what is true. This is what the next wave will bring.

‘Also I want to include that recently after releasing a word in our Church – KingsGate, Kingston – about turning the page and not being stuck on a page in the book of our life – as God has started your story and there was more – turn the page and keep walking – after I went and laid down before the Lord as His Presence became more manifest, again I saw this Spirit of Offence come out of a dark place – this time it was pinging back and forward looking for a place to land on the Church – I felt this was a prayer point and also it was an assignment from the enemy to abort us from enjoying the next wave of God’s glory which he has planned to be released in our meetings at a very large proportion.

‘I should have bound it when I saw it, but I just waited to hear more from the Lord about it.

‘Last of all I will record the vision I saw in the December One Voice prayer meeting in our church. During worship I was focusing on the Lord and watching for His Spirit – I saw myself in what was the top floor of an office building. I was sitting in a chair looking up with my eyes closed but could see all that was in the room.

‘Suddenly the whole roof lifted up off the floor and there were just open heavens – I had the feeling the Lord was removing restrictions – possibly the restrictions of man – we have perhaps put limitations on God – He removed the roof: there was no limit now – all restrictions man-made or otherwise being removed in Jesus name…’

PERSONAL NOTES

In the original of this posting, I explain excitement in my spirit was not only because of what’s cited above, but also and more especially because the last part of Brett’s vision (about being in an office and seeing the heaven opened) relates directly to the dream of September 2011 wherein I watch and declare, “They’re setting up The Kingdom!”

That dream’s content amazingly coincided with what happened at the Revival Alliance meeting in Westminster, as reported in ‘Father Let Your Kingdom Come’. That ‘God-incidence’ propelled me into blogging within weeks.

If you read that email, please note the direct connection between the dream and what Bill Johnson had prophetically mused about that date being retrospectively regarded as the day when, from a Kingdom viewpoint, things started changing in Britain.

Consequently, I regarded both visions on 14th December 2017 as confirming the stance I’d taken disputing claims against modern moves of the Holy Spirit. I blogged on it when telling how EIGHT ‘God-incidents’ Validate Three Visions, just like pieces of an invisible jigsaw puzzle!!

In view of that and earlier intrusions from self-appointed heresy hunters I inserted a clarification in ‘An Introduction to Prophecy’, which is now a separate reference page Beware – A Word of Warning.

Fulfillment #39

Therefore, having that revelation in connection with Bill Johnson – and his associates in the Revival Alliance – as well as having attended dozens of their meetings, I disagree with Prophecy TodayUK’s opinion about other followers of Jesus Christ at Wembley Day of Prayer for the UK on 29th January – and in later articles on their site!

In fact, the next day a visitor here left five critical messages on posts about Heidi Baker drawing attention to and questioning her association with Bill. Presumably that person has never met those whom they criticise?

Having supported Prophecy Today UK’s relaunch online and kindly permitted to reprint several of Dr Clifford Hill articles, and had pleasant, satisfactory dealings with managing editor Frances Rabbitts, I’m most disappointed in their continued criticism of other non-perfect leaders. (Yes, I know there could be many improvements in their operations.)

I cannot recollect, however, anything prophetic or of the Holy Spirit being brought by the Reverend Doctor other than sound biblical teaching and application for our days. So I have to question whether or not he has the gift of prophecy? He does not function in the office of prophet and I do hope all their denigration of what Holy Spirit has been and is doing (eg. claiming it’s demonic kundalini spirit – from which I was delivered years ago!) hasn’t resulted in their committing the unforgivable sin!

According to the above word, those brethren are unwilling to recognise and will, therefore, be barred from entering into the next wave of Holy Spirit’s power and presence!

In my opinion, they’d be wise to avoid aiding and abetting the Accuser of the Brethren, thus giving succour to the enemy of our souls and hater of humanity.

Fulfillment #40

The first time I saw Heidi, the Lord gave me an open vision indicative of the anointing the Bakers carry. My email 8 years ago of Dutch Sheets speaking about A Third Great Awakening? recounts the details:

‘Dutch’s descriptions reminded me of a vision of holy fire sweeping up the eastern side of Africa from Mozambique (where Rolland and Heidi Baker have brought whole Muslim provinces to Jesus), up to Sudan and Egypt and then into the Arabian peninsula! Even so, the one who would usurp God’s throne will no doubt get stirred up. So we shall see…

‘[2012 Note: The vision came when I first saw Heidi addressing a conference in Toronto. Suddenly, it was as though I was in orbit over central Africa and saw tall flames leaping high into the atmosphere over the whole of Mozambique and which spread northwards. The Mediterranean coast sat on the curvature of the globe and I saw the flames go along it and across the Sinai peninsular (thus, into Arabia). Upon speaking to Rolland Baker a year or so later, he told me the vision is like that which their director Supresa Sithole had for Iris Ministries (in his early days with them).]

Therefore, we could say recent visits by evangelical leaders to Egypt, Jordan and the Middle-East, as well as President Trump’s personal envoys to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, are taking that fire into those Muslim nations. Not to forget on 14th anniversary of 9/11 a lightning bolt struck a significant building in Mecca (read Kingdom-related Events Since Lightning Strike on Mecca’s Grand Mosque).

Personally and most importantly, I cannot forget the night Toronto’s John Arnott didn’t deliver his prepared message because, “I think the Lord wants to heal tonight!” Within minutes my dear wife, officially registered as ‘permanently disabled’, was fully enabled to leave her wheelchair behind – and returned other apparatus!!! (Testimony here)

PS. Yet another God-incidence – and whilst writing! It’s very encouraging because I’d intended blogging on what I had over the weekend on Ireland and EU. But after having noted a friend’s brief comment on Wembley prayer day and then receiving an unhappy email from a Facebook contact, I was simply going to copy GPS#10 – but then found myself carried away!

NOW, this may be hard to believe, but it’s true, as God and my wife are my witness..:

In finishing writing above, I took a phone call for Nina as she was chatting to our friend in the lounge. ‘R’ wanted to ask my opinion on a disturbing book she’s got, but Nina didn’t want to interrupt me as it’s my full blogging day before starting our long weekend.

So she asked ‘R’ to phone later and talk about its author: ‘Clifford Hill’ – not knowing he’s the very subject I’m writing about !!

Thus I’ve got a clear, God-incidental confirmation now’s the time to blog about him.

Decree & Declaration over Church & Government

Lord, we declare in this season a new desire to praise and to worship will come upon Your people, that the sound of the Name of Jesus will arise, transforming atmospheres and touching lives.

We decree and declare in this season, the church will carry and model Your message of reconciliation and unity into our nation with power and sensitivity, that all communities divided through religion, culture, social status and political opinion will be healed in Jesus’ name. We decree, destructive past experiences will be replaced by new positive ones, that respect will replace hatred and love replace fear.

We declare in this nation, a new level of unity and “oneness” is being released, so in the Name of Jesus, we speak over the separation between the indigenous British church and the spiritual sons and daughters from other nations within the UK that the love of God will overcome every personal and cultural divide, that all giftings and callings will be honoured, welcomed and utilised.

We declare Apostolic and 5-fold ministries within the land, the leaders of streams, of spiritual houses and denominations will recognise the significance of the times, standing together and moving together as respect, honour and trust increase between them.

We declare a new spirit of love and co-operation will rest upon all generations to work together and we call forth the spiritual mothers and the spiritual fathers, in the Name of Jesus.

Now Lord, we thank You for all those You have positioned within our Parliamentary System for this time, irrespective of party allegiance. We speak Your strength, Your wisdom and Your mantle of authority upon them, that Your voice will be heard clearly sounding above and beyond every other voice.

We decree and declare over every secret discussion, debate and vote in these days, the boundaries, borders and sovereignty of this nation; judicial, legislative, physical, spiritual, political and economic will be marked out, established and concluded according to God-given Kingdom purpose and timing.

We declare the Cabinet, Government and Opposition parties, will work shoulder to shoulder, as God-given direction rises above party allegiance, political agendas and personal preference. We stand in Your grace and we declare a fresh alignment of the words and thoughts of our leaders with Your will, that Your plans for this nation will be established.

A mathematician, a judge and an ambassador walked onto a train. It sounds like the beginning of a joke but the mathematician was John Lennox, who is well-known for his lectures about Christianity, and his new friends were completely serious about their investigation of his beliefs. We don’t know what happened in the end, but all three of them clearly recognised the significance of the conversation.

by Passion for the Nation on Monday February 11th, 2019

“ …at the sound of Your voice they were all stilled by Your might. What a majestic King, filled with power! Nothing could ever change your royal decrees; they will last forever.” Psalm 93: 3,4 TPT

Lord, we declare You are the Alpha and the Omega who rules over the nations with love, wisdom and truth, and we thank You for the power of revelation, anointing and Your grace within our lives.

We praise You for the depth of change You are working in this nation at this time; for all that You desire to release, for the healing, the restoration and the Kingdom-purpose You are bringing forth.

We declare, that which You have begun You will complete by the power of Your Word and the strength of Your might. Now, we call Your people into Your Presence, to hear Your voice and to understand Your ways, that the power of prayer will be exercised and increased across this land. (Isaiah 55:11.)

We declare in this day, the old pattern, leadership and Governmental connections are passing.

In the Name of Jesus, we speak over the totality of this round of talks, over the political shifts, the economic shifts, the shifts of boundaries and borders taking place, and over every associated mindset, heart and value; and we decree and declare the New Season God has planned for this land will be delivered in full, in order and on time.

We silence every opposing voice, network, agenda, manipulation, foolishness and control.

Now Lord, over the negotiations taking place this week, we speak Your wisdom and Your favour, that every hindrance, intransigence and difficulty caused by man or the enemy will be removed.

Another Isaiah verse and vision for UK: ‘shroud over Parliament’

We continue considering visions of Britain’s Parliament in turmoil with a third sent to me yesterday. First, let’s quickly refresh our memories (all emphases mine):

15th Jan (Brexit Must NOT Be Allowed To Fail) – ‘This is what I read today in the news concerning Brexit. “Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement was voted down 432-202, the largest defeat for a prime minister in the history of the House of Commons” As I was reading this I saw a vision of grappling hooks being shot over from Europe to England to pull the country back into the E.U. Britain must be totally free from the E.U, or, I feel, that it will share in the judgement that is coming to Europe. Additionally I saw in this vision Theresa May standing at her podium looking out. As I saw her looking out I saw a very large snake slithering up and down the rows of the House of Commons. I feel in my spirit that this snake is fear and deception and I do believe that this has to do with the rise of the antichrist and an independent England would greatly hinder his plans…’

24th Jan (Biblical Precedent Relating to Britain’s Constitutional Crisis) – ‘Revisiting the words on ‘Spirit of Herod’ brought by Veronika West I prefaced them with an email from Rosemary:

‘Catching up with your posts, I read about the picture of the snake in the houses of Parliament, and now know why I was given Isaiah 27:1 a day or two ago:

‘In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish the Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.’

30th Jan – Rosemary emails ‘Another Isaiah Passage’:

“On this mountain I will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations…” (Isaiah 25:7)

‘I felt led to this passage and, after contemplating it, I had a dream of the shroud being like a huge piece of knitting; the knitting – which consisted of lots of pieces joined together – was not well-produced and was full of holes. Underneath were masses of writhing people who had their arms and legs stuck in the knitting; the more they struggled the worse it became. God of course, promises to destroy the shroud, and if he can lead his people out of Egypt after so many setbacks He can do the same for Great Britain IF we are praying, repenting, seeking his mercy.

‘This made me think of the Brexit schemes, so as with the previous Isaiah passage I wonder if this ties in with anything you have received.’

Watching only very few scenes of the recent mayhem in the House of Commons, Nina likens it to ‘hell on earth’, and so this from our friend in the south-west aptly describes the situation but promises a much better, blessed outcome for the United Kingdom.

Rosemary’s dream, however, reminded me of a picture accompanying Veronika West’s report of 29th January on ‘A Terrifying Dream’, wherein she perceived that denizens of hell can see heaven, but those of heaven cannot see into hell.

UK Situation Summary #2 – Suzanne Ferrett on this season of opportunity for Christians

Suzzanne Ferrett kindly permits me to republish this from Passion For The Nation. She posted it as an informal chat on the message she’s been teaching for the past couple of years. Yet it’s timely in my own considerations of prophecy and politics arising out of a personal challenge to my referring in Cranmer to the Lord’s mind on Britain and the EU. Your attention is drawn to Suzanne’s outlining differences between Britain and Europe and to our laws in particular, further details of which may be found in two footnotes.:

I thought with all the confusion and the noise of the challenges in our nation right now, It would be good for me to explain why I believe this is a season of huge opportunity for the Body of Christ. Let me take a moment to explain why.

I am aware that even with the promises of God that we stand on the brink of huge revival, many are still struggling.

Background

My whole journey with praying and speaking into government, began with a number of revelations God gave me around 2015 and the beginning of 2016, when I moved with my husband to Windsor in Berkshire, not long before the 800^th Anniversary of the Magna Carta. At that time, with several other ministers, we called a Convocation to celebrate this document, which had never been overtly successful, yet had shaped our nation and the nations for 800 years.

During that time, God showed me how the roots of our nation, Government, justice system, democracy, institutions and way of life are based through the Magna Carta on Christian principles and foundations. The Magna Carta itself was not totally original, but drew on the Law Code of King Alfred, a Christian who is often called the first King of England, although that title should really go to his grandson.

At that time, as we looked backwards to celebrate the past, I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit to look towards the future, and we released a decree about the rising up of a governmental army, who would through their prayers govern in the spiritual realm above natural government. At that time, I felt God said, what we “have seen in the past of Godliness in this nation is only a shadow of what is possible in the future as His people rise up and take their place.”

Around that time, I also felt there would be a void in government and that would be the time when the Ecclesia would arise! (In my book Declarations to Change a Nation – published 2016)

About a month later, in July 2015 God spoke to me clearly in the words of a poem:

‘It’s the day of clash of Empires,
It’s the Day of the Clash of Sounds,
It’s the Day of the Clash of Spirits
as they seek to take the ground,
The no-man’s land of England will become a Battleground,
The forces are preparing, The swords are being ground,
I’m calling to my church now to listen to the sound.’

This speaks of a spiritual battle in the nation, which is affecting many areas of society, and right now is sitting very squarely on our Government.

It is very clear from the gospels, that Jesus was really concerned that the “yeast of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians” did not infect His church. Those three groups, the religious, the wealthy and the political, have historically held the power in many nations, and the key word is power – which is so often, the DNA of the world systems.

What is God doing?

I believe God is shaking nations, because it is the beginning of a new era. When things are stable, change is difficult, but great shaking has the capacity to bring great change, therefore as everything moves, there is room for the establishment of something new – which right now, for simplicity, I will call the Government of the Kingdom of God.

Resounding above all the noise is the Kingdom call. A day for the Kingdom to come in all its glory and fullness, embracing the call for salvation, but also bringing righteousness, mercy, truth and justice to the earth. The DNA of God’s Kingdom is very different from the world’s systems and kingdoms, and yes, it is a Spiritual Kingdom, but it will touch and affect every part of society.

Jesus gave the coming of the Kingdom huge priority: pray “Kingdom Come” and “Seek first the Kingdom of God.”

The danger is that as everything shifts and moves, and changes take place, voids open up, and there is confusion and fear. But if God’s people will see from His perspective and stand in the assurance of His covenant and His blessings, we are those who have the potential to fill those voids with everything from love and hope, to the righteousness and justice of the Kingdom. Otherwise, something else will fill those spaces.

I believe what we are seeing in the shaking around Brexit, is part of the shift God is seeking to bring. The roots of Europe are different from ours. Their spiritual heritage is different, more based on the Roman model and influenced by Enlightenment thinking, and they have a different view of democracy.

The nations which hold the same values as ours, from the freedom of choice and the value of life, to the value of the individual, are those whose heritage roots back to the UK and to our political system.

What’s Unique about our Democratic System

It is because of the early roots through the Magna Carta and back to King Alfred 200 years before it, that our democracy is founded on the truth that there is a Higher Authority – God the Judge, the Lawgiver and the King. It means there are absolute truths which underpin everything else.

This is the foundation which has made us the nation envied around the world; the freedoms we have enjoyed, the expectation of truth and honesty, the value put upon life and the freedom of religious belief and more. The nations which were part of, or influenced by the British Empire, for all its faults, can still be identified by a similar, if eroding value system and interestingly, are also the only nations which carry all these values.

Other democracies are different. I remember being taught at school that Democracy of itself carries the seeds of its own destruction. Without the understanding of that Higher Authority, Parliament is at the whim of the current flavour and belief of the people.
I have had people say to me that democracy is not Biblical, God wants a theocracy. I agree, however, a theocracy still needs a system to deliver God’s government. If you look at the book of Genesis, Israel went into Egypt as a family, they came out as a nation, but a nation with no laws, and no understanding other than their experience as slaves in Egypt.

God took Israel aside, He gave them a leader and through that leader He gave them laws, instructions and principles, but He told them to choose for themselves those who would be the Judges of those laws – those who would interpret and apply that law. For the United Kingdom there is a linking of some of those concepts; the coming of the Kingdom – righteousness, justice and mercy – in our nation is linked to the battle for our democracy and the Christian heritage contained within it, but I believe the primary goal, is the increase of His Kingdom government in our land. A Question

How do we view our present situation, if the nation and parliament no longer recognise or submit to a Higher Authority?

I stand in amazement of what God is doing at this time. Coinciding with Him shaking our nation, He is shaking the church, and that means you and I are being shaken. We stand at the end of 500 years of the reformation and restoration of the church, the Body of Christ, during which He has been restoring New Testament truths and values to His people. Even in the past few years, we have seen the Father’s Heart message, the call for the church to go beyond its walls, the inner healing movement, restoration of the five-fold ministries to name a few, and recently the understanding of the word Ekklesia.

What is God doing now?

God is raising a people who know their identity, who know they stand positioned in blessing despite the situations around them, who know God is with them, that they are both kings and priests, and who also recognise and carry His heart for the people around them, crying out for a revival which will transform lives and situations.

And, there is fresh revelation into the prayer movement to know how to legislate in alignment with heaven, through declaration and decree. In this way, through the power of His people praying according to His will, God takes His place as the true lawgiver in our land.

A Parliament of Christian MP’s will never replace the authority of God’s Ekklesia.

The reason it’s been such a confusing season is that the changes God has been bringing to the nation, the Church and His people are all coinciding.

Why? I believe, it is so that we can go out and be all He has called us to be, we can fulfil the unique call on the inside of us – filling those voids of hope and need all around us, but also through prayer and declaration, aligning our government with His will and purpose for this time – turning the nation back to Him and discovering a new national identity.

One thing about our nation is obvious, we are called to lead and influence others. As we fight for our land, we are really fighting for the nations.

An amazing season of opportunity for the Kingdom of God.

UK Situation Summary #1 – Neil Mackereth on Brexit Withdrawal

Further to writing about ‘Divine Designs‘ behind Britain’s leaving the European Union, and my exposure of the EU’s attempt to entrap the UK by conniving, devious politicians, Neil Mackereth offers this brief summary of the state-of-play and recommends a course of action for Christians:

BREXIT: WHEN IS A WITHDRAWAL NOT A WITHDRAWAL?

WHEN SOME HALF-WAY HOUSE AGREEMENT RESULTS IN THE UK KEEPING MOST OF THE DRAWBACKS AND LOSING MOST OF THE ADVANTAGES.

The outcome of the “peoples’ vote” referendum which asked: “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?” (not much scope for confusion there) was 52% leave to 48% stay (not much scope for confusion there either).

However, the British intelligentsia (in their view, not mine) or, more accurately, the majority of those who are in, or who influence, the “Westminster Bubble”, think “the people” are wrong and, furthermore, not qualified (competent, wise, intelligent enough …) to make such decisions. Once in “the bubble”, the elected ones and their advisers seem to become detached from the democratic process (even though it got most of them there!).

The main aim of one faction, since the Referendum, seems to be to frighten, confuse, undermine, condemn and generally grind down the electorate that a second referendum will be welcomed. The expectation of this elite group is that their view of common sense will then prevail.

It is interesting to note that it was the ordinary public who vetoed our application to join the Euro 15 years ago, and who were more recently not deterred by the alarming stories of immediate post-referendum recession, that we heard from [Messrs; messers! RB] Cameron, Osborne, Carney and others. In fact, every step of the way the protestations of doom and despair, and the forecasts from the insiders and pundits, have been proved wrong.

Why are we still listening? In one sense the outcome of a second referendum, if it were to be called, cannot be judged; in another sense it can: it would undoubtably cause further division in our very fractured society.

Clever EU negotiators have run rings round us and inveigled many of our politicians into believing that we must strive for an agreement that is not worth having. The waters are so muddied that we cannot see that it is they who are on the back foot.

Insisting on “a deal” is a snare to keep us in the EU. By continually emphasising that an agreement is essential we have, in effect, transferred our advantage (bargaining power) to the unelected EU bureaucrats. Mention the clean-break option and, my goodness, see how that motivates the doomsayers! In trade terms, the EU’s share of the world economy is approx. 15%. The EU’s share has been falling for several years while the rest of the world has been growing [itals RB]. Obviously, sensible trading arrangements, as agreed between any nations and economic groupings, are in everybody’s interest. However, the UK is stronger, more adaptable, better connected internationally and in many ways more innovative than most of the EU. We continually play from our weaknesses instead of our strengths!

Our Nation lacks a clearly defined Global Strategy, on which all else should hinge. Harking back to military strategy, we are undoubtably suffering the “fog of war”. When faced with an outpouring of propaganda, plus incomplete, dubious and erroneous information, poor intelligence and no clear common goals, what happens? High levels of fear, doubt and hysteria are engendered. That is when rapid and unambiguous decision-making is required from an alert, competent and innovative leader.

So, we have a perfect impasse where no single “way-forward” suggestion commands a majority and the only motions that are carried are those that block progress.

However, as explained in an earlier paper, I see God’s hand on the steps that have brought us to this point. Like the Israelites during the Exodus, we are prone to forgetting the amazing things God has done over recent years, and over many centuries, in our nation. We are not forgotten: God’s plans will be fulfilled.

What should we do? For many years I have attended seminars about, heard sermons on and lightly accepted the principle of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (my emphasis)

I believe that this scripture is reaching the pinnacle of its significance for our nation. It is not the heathens, the atheists, the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists, the secular MPs or humanists who are encouraged to pray; it is us, God-fearing committed Christians.

The Lord God Almighty is shaking, sifting and precipitating the circumstances that will awaken the Nation and the Church. I am convinced that this political log-jam is part of the process that will lead to the greatest revival ever witnessed (the final harvest). As R.T. Kendall explains in ‘Prepare Your HEART for the MIDNIGHT CRY’, there are three groups in the church: wise and foolish virgins, all asleep, and the watchers (who must be awake, by definition) who give the cry that heralds the arrival of the Bridegroom.

Soon everything will change: are you awake and ready?

DECLARATION FOR PARLIAMENT – 29th January 2019

“O land, land, land hear the word of the Lord” Jeremiah 22:2

We thank You Lord for the rich spiritual heritage of this nation, for the gift and call upon this land and we declare the Name of Jesus will be exalted, the sovereign purpose for the UK fulfilled and the Kingdom of God come in all its variety and fullness.

On this significant day, we declare righteousness will exalt you, and we speak righteousness into every negotiation, discussion and vote taking place.

As when Moses’ arms were lifted up Your purposes prevailed, we speak strength to Your people, that Your love, hope and vision will sustain them. In the Name of Jesus, we decree and declare over the completeness of our connections to Europe, that which You would disconnect will be disconnected and that which You would connect will be connected.

We speak to the very fabric, foundation, DNA and godly mandate of the United Kingdom, and we call you forth in the Name of Jesus.

Now, we stand as the Ecclesia in this nation, and we decree and declare: the United Kingdom will rise up and lead the nations once more, releasing not a vision tainted by man’s desire for power, but the heart of the Kingdom, in purity and in love.

Eve-of-Prayer for UK prophetic word and dream – #1

I’m aware of two pertinent prophetic items received Friday evening and overnight early Saturday morning relating to current events in our Nation.

First, the following private word of prophecy published on UK Prophetic Words came on the evening before Saturday’s Day of Prayer for Britain in Wembley stadium. Note that there’s no official connection between the event or its organisers and the following word – other than the prophetic timing. I’m grateful to Geoff Pick for permission to republish.:

PROPHECY FOR THE UK – one day before the National Day of Prayer

I am stirring up the fire of heaven in you
The rain of my spirit drenches my people
I stir you to boldness
I call you to break out of the timidity of caution
I tell you my warriors do not fear what others fear
Do not let the enemy bind you in false humility
Know that the greatness of the King of Kings
flows from you my Royal warriors.

Do not fear the heat of battle
It is MY war and I am the conquering King
As My life is expressed through you
You are the giant killers in the land
Let every mountain move
As the trumpet shofar is sounded
Hear the sound echoing in the valleys.

There is no place to hide
Forces of darkness melt away
Be gone … enemies of the cross.

On the day of His Kingdom
His own stand up
And cry out His Great Name
The People of the King arise
and take their governmental seats
in heavenly realms with Christ
