Astonishing mathematics within Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 – the conjunction of Creation, Gospel and Science?

In mid-September a mathematician was writing about his favourite formula whilst I was reading about the very same thing buried deep in holy writ!

A multitude of times I’ve noticed crazy coincidences cropping up to give confirmation and more instruction upon certain topics, as though the Lord’s got His hammer and hitting me between the eyes to get my attention! This ‘God-incident‘ is the most extraordinary so far coming almost ‘simultaneously’ from both a secular, scientific standpoint and two fundamental scriptures.

An anniversary-cum-birthday holiday brought me opportunity to read a book at long last after a non-stop busy Summer. So I grabbed a couple from my pile, one of which, Unlocking the Sign Miracles of John by Jonathan R Hill, seemed on the lines of what I’d heard John Kilpatrick saying about the ‘sign miracles’ in the Gospel of John.

Flicking through it I noticed many references to the ‘Consummation of the Age’ (including chapter on its ‘mathematical foundation’), the ‘end-time’ prophetical significance of those miracles, as well as typologies, numerical aspects of Hebrew and Greek alphabets and calculations of time periods. Now, I take the last with a pinch of salt as they need careful checking, but am willing to consider and weigh new, even radical, concepts that don’t contradict scripture.

jr-hill-unlocking_39-2 The book is based upon the work of Arthur Ware in The Restored Vision and quotes from Dr Grattan Guinness’ Light For The Last Days (an author used in The Invisible Hand, so influential upon me, as in my “Welcome”). I’m aware of the ancient practice of substituting letters of original Hebrew and Greek alphabets with their ordinal (sequential) value and standard designated values known as gematria, which Hill uses. His book is annotated with cross-references throughout.

Without further ado, here are some introductory points and copies of a few specific pages to read carefully (enlarge for ease of reading):

‘But God does not stop with types, as each letter of the two original languages of the Bible, Hebrew for the Old Testament and Greek for the New Testament, encapsulates a numerical value. Words and collections of sequential words have a mathematical identity which, therefore, extends the surface narrative. Any agreement between this underlying numerical pattern and the surface meaning or doctrine, affixes considerable authenticity to the text…Only a personable supernatural God could inject such intrinsic connectivity within a book written in two languages with different alphabets, by multiple authors and across two millennia‘ (emphasis mine).

‘The only reference in the (NT) to individual letters is actually in John’s Gospel – ‘And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never studied?” John 7:15 NKJV (page 20).

‘The existence of a relationship between the surface meaning of the text, the type and the underlying mathematical value has long been known in Jewish Rabbinic tradition’ – see Wiki Pardes (Jewish Exegesis) (page 160).

Page 38: ‘…Before returning to the details of the progression of seven days, one more scientific digression is to be considered. A simple ratio of letters to words in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 yields the following fundamental mathematical constants seen in figure 4’ – continues below (NB: especially note first footnote):

Mathematician Joseph’s Jaw-dropping Email

Upon returning home on the closing days of September and opening the accumulation of email, I soon read a notification of new post sent the preceding weekend from Joseph at Rationalising the Universe, the early part of which reads:

‘Today I write a short post about something close to my own heart; and to so many others in the field of mathematics which is the notion of mathematical beauty. That is, deriving aesthetic satisfaction from mathematical work (which in my opinion is on a level far above any painting, sculpture or photograph can ever achieve). There is no one defined notion of mathematical beauty; as with the more regular notion of of human beauty there often is a general consensus but it is down to personal taste. Here I summarise some areas in which mathematics in my eyes is at its most beautiful.

‘In this area I take a commonly cited example of Euler’s formula, which was showered with praise by the late great Richard Feynman, who used to refer to the formula as “our jewel”. Let me first present the general version of the formula…’

(He explains formula linking trigonometrical with the exponential form and when ‘x’ takes the value of ‘pi’ it becomes the Euler’s identity, as in Hill’s book above):

‘That is incredibly powerful mathematics summarised in a short, elegant looking formula which revels so much. To me this is incredibly beautiful…’

I was left utterly ‘God-smacked’! My next post reveals what I found when opening the full post from Joseph.

More of this book has yet to be checked but I offer this account for your information and to the credit of Jonathan Hill and his sources for their immense labour, for which I am indeed grateful.

Notes:

The theorem uses the five most important constants of mathematics: zero (0), unity (1), ‘e’, the exponential number describing growth and decay ‘e’, ‘pi’ the ratio of a circle’s diameter to its circumference, ‘i’ the basic imaginary number which, if it did exist, equals the square root of -1.
Euler’s identity won a reader’s contest in Mathematical Intelligencer magazine in 2004 by a considerable margin for “the most beautiful theorem in mathematics”.

Timing of listening to ‘Time’

G’day readers.

How did your day start as you got under way? Do you notice time seems to have different speeds when you’re getting up? Sometimes I have to get a move on to beat the clock and be ready at a specific time. One day ‘hare’ minute-hand scoots along as tho’ haring around the ‘milestone’ circle – but another day it may saunter as though half awake, and ‘tortoise’ hour-hand lies huddled in its shell.:

Soon after starting my search for ‘truth’ when a young man, I read that time’s related to consciousness. So I noticed its measure may depend upon alertness.

Decades later and living at a more leisurely pace I notice this puzzles me. For example, in the bathroom I’m usually wide awake when swiping a razor around my face – rarely am I drowsy and, if needing to be on the move, I keep an eye on my watch as it sneakily heads for a deadline.

I’ve noticed differences on some days between how much I can get done in that early half-hour. Maybe my wrist-watch speeds up or down, or maybe it’s simply all down to my body-clock. Even so I’d agree with Justin Abrahams’ claim that, of its own nature, time does go at different speeds – maybe I get my own ‘time bubble’ in the bathroom! But I’d much prefer to learn the practicalities of his claim to having done a two-hour wash, wax and polish of his car in half an hour!!

After posting the first announcement about Justin’s podcast on engaging Time in February I found the timing of my listening to it was intriguing!

Not having done this on my phone before I found out later that the talk did download but I needed a better ‘ap’. Anyway, it was much better this way because it grabbed my attention when I was able to give it. Had it worked it would have distracted me from a personally relevant event at the conference I was going to.

At least a couple of aspects of what Justin teaches on that podcast were relevant to that event as well as to other recent things. First, I’m amused I’d been thinking of something from dim, distant days – “He who grieves most, grieves for wasted time”. It was one of many such quotations that had been used to prompt me to search seriously for the truth and meaning of life just before the famous Beatles turned into hippies and then got into transcendental mediation.

A Few Thoughts on ‘Time’

I hope anyone who followed my suggestion to listen to Justin’s podcast (here) didn’t find his excited assertions too daunting. Perhaps his approach is too ‘off-the-wall’ for some, yet his experiences and insights are worthy of due consideration and reflection.

Those of ‘glued-on’ adherence to the literal Bible text and fixed interpretation, according to whichever adopted translation is cleaved to, may have difficulty with his challenging but Biblically-based concepts. I very much like his familiarity with scientific concepts, from which most Christians shy away. It’s something I’d urge my brethren to get to grips with in order to marvel even more at Father’s handiwork.

Without being in any way dismissive, however, it would be interesting to see evidence for Justin’s claims regarding postage dates. Also, as above, I’m ambitious to clean, wax and polish the car in such an unexpected short time-span as he experienced for two! 🙂

I recalled what Charles Shamp taught on the prophet Daniel travelling in time and seeing the stars at Jesus’ birth, thus leaving instructions on what the Magi should look for in the sky and why (Supermoon Monday’s ‘blood moon’ and The Age to Come refers).

Bobby Conner – Time Disappeared

Also, I was reminded of what Bobby Conner said in Bath city about ten years ago. After returning from a trip, he phoned his wife Carolyn from the airport to let her know when to expect him home. It’s usually well over an hour’s journey, so his thoughts turned to the Lord whilst driving. Only twenty minutes later Bobby came to the junction for the road leading to their house – total time: under half hour! Huh?

Miraculous, or a tall story? And is it Biblical?? My overview Eternity and Prophecy refer to three examples in scripture of time having been distorted and broken. And remember…

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no-one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end…

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it, God does it, that man should fear before Him.

That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God seeks an account of what is pursued [so that history repeats itself – Amplified Bible]. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 Amp; 14-15 NKJV)

An example of heavenly time-management

RJB That conjunction of ‘coincidences’ wherein the Lord urges us to align our time-management with His, made me review what’s in my mind’s ‘neural pipeline’. (See A prophetic word from God about time – and on time!)

Directly connected with it is the exciting fact that the spiritual operations behind true prophecy, and the latest scientific theories are converging.

So look out for a meeting of minds over revelation and the prophetic on the Christian net and maths, relativity, quantum mechanics and information theory on the scientific side…

I came off holiday wanting to blog right away about another fascinating ‘coincidence’.: my reading about the mathematical basis of the opening verses of Genesis and of the Gospel according to John – and what I met upon returning home on a scientific blog! This was to be followed by re-blogs of excellent articles on maths, quantum physics and time.

These will be from Rationalising The Universe, which has a growing readership and well-informed discussions. It was started by mathematician Joseph, who’s recently been joined by theoretical physicist Mekhi, whose special interests are relativity and time. Their blog also has the distinction of inclusion in WordPress’ selection of best blogs (Discover) and is succinctly described here. Learn more from their bios via the preceding links.

Those re-blogs, however, must first await re-publication of a couple of my past items on time, and re-posting remark mentioned at item 3 of post on ‘heavenly time-management’. (My comments in that point were upon Mekhi’s post, Does The Present Really Exist?)

By the way, I was honoured last month with this kind accolade from Glasgow Prophetic Centre: “We are so blessed by the amazing gift you have at ‘joining the prophetic dots’!”

A prophetic word from God about time – and on time!

Upon returning home last Wednesday, as Nina rested after surgery, I caught up with email. That day’s from Glasgow Prophetic Centre was extraordinary! It’s not the first time they’re on target personally but the precision this time is breathtaking on several counts, as in my appended notes. First, the prophetic words.:

LION BITES: HEAVENLY TIME-MANAGEMENT

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say:

“I rule time and it is not to rule you!”

The Lord is breaking off a rulership that time – and lack of – have had over your life. And He is bringing a heavenly alignment into timekeeping, diaries, schedules, cycles and sleeping patterns.

No longer will your time be swallowed up by unfruitful activity, as God begins to align your life to heaven’s calendar! This will create time for you to begin to wholeheartedly pursue the call of God on your life – and with plenty of time to do so!

He says to you,

“Bring your time before me and let me show what I actually want you to do and what I don’t want you to do. Let Me tell you who I really want you to meet and who I really don’t want you to meet. Time will no longer be your enemy but instead it will now empower you to fulfil My purposes for your life on the earth.”

So, bring your calendars, your diaries, your phones and your schedules before God and let Him do some work with you today. Time is not to be your enemy but it is to be used by you and you will have the space to flourish.

Colossians 4:5 Behave wisely towards outsiders, making the best use of your time.

Now the topic of time has cropped up again it’s well to look at a literal rather than ‘dynamic’ translation of a couple of well-known verses. This will be important in the next few posts. The New King James Version and my study bible note reads:

Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time (‘kairos – opportune time, set time, appointed time, due time, definitive time, seasonable time, proper time for action. Kairos describes kind or quality of time, whereas chronos denotes extent or quantity of time’.)

Eph 5:16-17 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what he will of the Lord is. (‘Redeeming the time is capitalizing upon every opportunity’ – but one teacher offers an insight based upon the meaning of ‘redeemed’ as ‘Ga’al, the ancient custom of buying back something lost through helplessness, poverty or violence’: eg. Isaiah 52:9 where the Lord redeems Jerusalem.)

Also, Lindell Cooley’s Saturday morning message at CHP’s Autumn Glory Day’s on how to be led by the Holy Spirit – plus abiding in the Lord – gave more scriptural background to this Lion Bite.

Notes:

I was stunned by not only the content but also the timing of this word on aligning our activities with the Lord’s calendar because that very day’s events confirm it IN ADVANCE, as follows.:

Our usual daily routine had been changed to fit into the surgeon’s schedule plus the Lord’s help and comfort.
Our church had scheduled a full day’s prayer cover in half-hour slots by various brethren.
In view of my recent comments on time in a scientific blog I took the opportunity, whilst waiting for Nina’s return from surgery, to listen to Justin Abraham’s cutting-edge teaching On Engaging Time [2-part blog: Introduction & In 1st 15 Minutes].
The heart of that deep instruction is succinctly summarised by this Lion Bite email.

An amazing God-incidence! I doubt it may have made such a deep impact had I checked email by phone whilst in the hospital’s cafe. So the Lord well-knew our day and lined it up with His dairy – praise Jesus that You are the Lord of Time.

A word or two of wisdom – ‘coincidentally’, of course!

Coincidentally? How else on this blog? And when getting back to blogging after a welcome break!

Readers will know sooner or later there’s bound to be some ‘God-incidence’ of the sort Dr Sharon Stone used as an example when teaching on ‘divine guidance’ on Saturday.

‘Incident’ #1

Whilst away we bought a perpetual calendar on daily scriptural studies of NT Greek and decided to start using it from 1st October. Right away we observed an obvious example of the paucity of meaning conveyed in English translations. They may fail to do justice to the original language and thereby not give the depth needed for a full understanding of God’s word; as in the first example provided by Rick Renner :

“If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally.” James 1:5

‘ask’ (from ‘aito’ : to be adamant in requesting and demanding assistance to meet tangible needs). The study likens this to respectfully approaching a superior with a very strong request in full expectation of getting what’s firmly requested.

‘When James tells us to “ask” God for wisdom we need, the Greek tense used is a command (imperative, emphasis RB). This plainly means God isn’t suggesting that we come to Him for wisdom – He is commanding us to do so!’

More from that verse was to follow the next day.: ‘of God’ (from ‘para theou’ : come right alongside God, as close as possible). The study reads: ‘If we want wisdom, we must come right up alongside God in order to obtain it. You see, God wants a relationship with us. He doesn’t want to just freely hand out answers to our problems, He wants us to come to Him. And the moment we get side-by-side with God He opens His hand and reveals everything we need to know and understand about the situations we are facing.’

I liked this last part in particular because it speaks into what had come to our attention the weekend before chilling out over our anniversary and my birthday – that Adam and Eve would hear the voice of God walking in the Garden of Eden and walk alongside and be in conversation with the Living Lord God.

BUT, they lost that direct connection and only a few patriarchs and prophets were blessed to get that close, direct relationship; the first being Enoch who so pleased God that he took him bodily into heaven. In fact, that profound aspect of ‘The Fall’ featured in both morning messages we heard (at local church and on-line with CHP in Alabama – God: What Is He Like?) on 18th September.

‘Incident’ #2

Within an hour of reading that better definition ‘of God’ I read a mathematician’s remarks about Revelation 13:18 in a printout from a site I’m investigating:

“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six”. (KJV)

Vernon Jenkins MSc writes in An Obligation Declined,

“Observe the use of imperative mood here (emphasis RB). Those who possess ‘understanding’ are required to proceed, as directed!

Oh what a ‘coincidence’!

‘Incident’ #3

Back to the usual routine with Monday morning’s tasks and then back to the pc I got ready to churn as quickly as possible through the mass of awaiting emails. As soon as all had downloaded a new one from WordPress ‘pinged’ its presence at the top of the list. As with new post alerts it’s easy to read the introductory snippet and decide whether or not to read the full blog – but here’s yet another coincidence!!

On ‘the third day’, following hard on the heels of the two foregoing ‘incidents’ it would have been very difficult to ignore this opener by ‘Joseph’ to his latest opinion on the state of scientific endeavour, Are We Lost?..:

A Persian mathematician and astronomer by the name of al-Khwarizimi (died 850AD) spent his career working in the House of Wisdom; a fantastic mathematician from which we derive the algorithm. (Emphasis added)

Conclusion

In view of many observations upon ‘coincidences’ reported on this blog, I’d respectfully submit the following empirically ascertained equation for reader’s deliberation.:

Prophetic words on Britain and the EU’s demise cont’d

To continue on the double ‘coincidence’ of receiving a ‘joint message’ on the two themes on which I’d published a blog: first, the last night of the Proms – secondly, my recollection of the word received by one of those parties on the demise of the EU.:

News of expected stiff opposition to Brexit at the weekend’s summit of EU chieftains in Bratislava was ludicrous in view of national divisions and deep disquiet within the Union. In addition, there are several prophecies over many years about the Lord’s desire for Britain to get out of the EU whilst the going’s good. (See 16 prophecies listed here.)

In particular, I was minded of the very clear statement received by David Noakes last November and which some enthusiastic prophecy-buffs may have seized upon to the consternation of one of my cyber-friends. Nevertheless, being addressed to “Nation of Britain” it’s highly relevant and the pertinent part reads:

“…Rather than rely on Me and my faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied my Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of me and its hardness of heart towards my ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore my hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

“Hear Me, O once godly nation and respond to my call, or you also will come to ruin in that same judgment of destruction. This is not my will for you, but you must choose the course which you will take. I urge you to respond to Me and choose life under my hand of discipline and protection, rather than death in the disaster which is even now coming upon Europe.” (UK/EU in/out #4: Prophetic Warning Urges “Come Out!”)

And so I was musing upon that theme and how current events will be affected by God’s plans and actions. Therefore, I was stunned to be updated only hours later! Clifford Hill introduces the new message on what the Lord’s about to do in Britain and our need to be encouraged, whilst bringing expected disaster upon the EU, as follows.:

BRITAIN AT THE CROSSROADS (From A Prophetic Word To Britain)

C Hill 163835 ‘Today Britain is at the crossroads! We are a nation under judgement. We crossed a red line when we defied the God of Creation who made us in his own image – male and female – and we dared to redefine marriage, despising the beautiful love relationship that God intended for his people. Forty years ago we joined ourselves in a pact with European nations driven by humanist values and infiltrated by Satanists. They seek to live in unity and peace but are doomed to failure by their rejection of the Prince of Peace.

‘God has mercifully given to Britain the chance of deliverance from the marriage with the European Union and the opportunity to forge a new role in the world under his blessing. This could be a sign and powerful witness to the nations of the rewards that are open to all who seek a right relationship with God and are prepared to love and obey him.

‘There are many in Britain today who are fearful of the future because they lack understanding of the word of God and lack faith in the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are many churchgoers who share that fear because they too have never really learned to recognise the word of the Lord as the sheep recognise the voice of their own Shepherd. But God is loving and merciful and he has a word for those who are anxious about the future since the vote to leave the EU. My friend and colleague David Noakes and I have worked together in the prophetic Ministry since the early 1980s. David received a word this week which I commend to all our readers.

‘Please read it prayerfully and weigh it carefully. I think it may bring you a blessing.’

A WORD OF PROPHECY IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE BREXIT VOTE

“Beloved, you who are called by My Name, I want to say to you in these days, when there is confusion and turmoil and upheaval: Do not be alarmed or concerned, for I am fully in control. I have brought about these circumstances, and my adversary is full of rage, and would like to oppose and if possible, to undo, that which I have done.

“My word to you is that I have done a good work, but I call upon you who are faithful to stand firm and to persevere in prayer that the work which I have begun will proceed to the conclusion which I have purposed. The task is far from complete and it is not a time for complacency, so be vigilant and continue to pray that I will complete the work. It will not be a short or an easy battle, so have courage and do not be tempted to lose heart.

“Have gentle hearts towards those who are confused and upset and distressed. There are those who feel that the nation is being thrown into exile, and this is causing them to feel afraid and angry, but they do not know that it is I who have brought this about. But I say that this seeming exile is in order to preserve you. You in Britain are like the good figs who were taken into exile before judgment fell (Jeremiah 24).

“There will be great darkness and upheaval in the European institution; but I have done this in your nation at this time in order to preserve you.

“Therefore, look up and be greatly encouraged, because out of this time of turmoil and upheaval will come great opportunity. Those of you who are committed to me I will uphold, I will protect, and I will send upon you a new outpouring of My Spirit, that you may speak My word in Spirit and in Truth; and My Spirit will bear witness to it and it shall bring forth fruit.

“I do not say that your whole nation will turn to Me, for that will not be the case; but beloved, I will bring multitudes into a valley of decision and many will turn to Me, for despite the apostasy which has gripped the nation, I have not failed to love the nation of Britain, and in My grace and mercy, I will continue to pour My love upon you, even though you have angered Me greatly.

“Take heart, be encouraged and look up. I will walk with you through the time of turmoil and upheaval. There will be those who will hate you for the testimony you will give, but I will cause many to repent and acknowledge that what you say is truth; for beloved, My people have been failed by many who now lead them, but I am come as the great Shepherd of the sheep. I want to recover My people and to gather many others into My sheepfold.

“Therefore be of good heart, and be afraid of nothing, for in the events of these times I am fully involved, and I will walk with you, every one of you, on every step of the uncharted path which lies ahead.

Jeremiah reference is most informative and I realised later that the EU’s strong anti-Israel stance is another reason for the Lord’s detestation of that institution.

The post on Land of Hope and Glory Anthem should have been published last Monday but matters delayed it ’til Friday, yet I found it served to show the truth and reality of scripture:

O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend (lit: ‘winnow’!) my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue (or pc!), but behold, O LORD, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high I cannot attain it. Where can I go from Your Spirit or where can I flee from Your Presence? (Psalm 139:1-6 NKJV) Selah!

MOREOVER, the moment I hit the ‘publish’ button an incoming email linked into almost identical wording and opinion!! Mere coincidence or an awesome ‘God-incident’??

‘Disruption’ of Events?

Mon 12th intention to report on Last Night of Proms got waylaid by urgency of words on US presidential elections – and I got directed to rare, pertinent video of Trump.
+ taking advantage of warm weather for outdoor work and other vital tasks make all online work intermittent;
+ republishing couple of spiritual anniversary posts on due date;
+ time to draft only bullet points on the Proms and not complete checking;
= Friday’s usual start of long weekend (cyber-silent). So ‘Proms’ item NOT posted!

Morning Coffee

Nero_6 Unwinding over coffee and yummies with paper and crossword I laughed out loud at its front-page item – EU ploy to force UK rethink on Brexit. The strap-line reads – ‘The European Union elite seem to think the game is to make us change our minds’.

‘Senior figures in the EU believe that Britain will give up on Brexit if they make negotiations as tough as possible, The Telegraph understands. British officials are fighting to stop Europe adopting a no-compromise position in talks in the hope that the UK will change its mind about leaving the bloc...’. Other remarks show European Commission president Juncker likes insulting 17M voters’ intelligence.

Sheer folly! I recall last November’s prophetic warning received by David Noakes (who’s known to us).

In mulling this over I recall a friend’s very recent vision regarding judgement on Parliament and wonder if this may be related to political consequences of trying to disrupt the Lord’s plans for New Britain, or even those of arrogantly changing His ordinance of marriage? We agreed it’s important to complete my final version about what happened to Nina and publish that mid-afternoon.

A Trip in a Time Machine

Hand with News icon - Watcharakun Had last Thursday been the usual full blogging day, subscribers would have got an email alert to that new post. The Lord, however, was at work with another writer and His hand brought that to my attention on-screen Friday!

Had it not been long-weekend offline and the actual post intruding into our time, it would have been followed by His astonishing confirmation.

So, let’s get in an imaginary time-machine and go back to when you may have read Holy Spirit Strikes During ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ Anthem. Can you do that? Is it clear in your mind?

Open opening it you’d have read in the first paragraph that the anthem, ‘Traditionally featured with ‘Rule Britannia’ in the sensational climax to the Last Night of the Proms, was sung with exceptional gusto by a flag-waving public during the Proms 121st season.’

I’d hit the publish button at 15:30 hrs, logged off WordPress and was about to shut down my pc but checked incoming email ‘ping’ and saw it was the weekly update from Prophecy TodayUK. So I printed hard-copy to read at leisure – but the main feature STUNNED me!

As we’re in a time-machine, look at how A Prophetic Word for Britain, Clifford Hill’s joint message with David Noakes (issued at 15:04 hrs) opens:

‘I watched the Last Night of ‘The Proms’ last Saturday along with millions of other viewers and the vast open-air crowd in Hyde Park and similar gatherings in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Was it my imagination, or did anyone else detect an extra (Brexit?) fervency in the patriotism that flowed out of the Albert Hall in waves and resounded from the crowds across the road and other parts of the UK?… this year’s final night seemed to have an extra edge of enthusiasm. It was not just that a guest soloist, Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez (a foreigner!!), dressed in elaborate costume lustily sang’Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves’ but also the Finnish Conductor Sakari Oramo, (another foreigner!!) participated enthusiastically in singing ‘Jerusalem’.’

Sheer coincidence? Regular readers will have occasionally noted how critical the timing of events can be for posts on certain matters, which strongly suggests their significance for some reason that’s ‘beyond our ken’. Also, there’s a scriptural law of serendipity, as explained by prophecy teacher and mentor Revd Dr Sharon Stone (God-incidents).

So, in view of what I’d been reading earlier that day, I realised the importance of that word and trust you will visit PROPHECYTodayUK to consider it carefully too.

Startling confirmations of my encounter with Jesus

RJB A little time was needed to gain a fuller understanding of my life-changing encounter with Jesus, especially in view of His absolute holiness in contrast to my personal sinful nature. No wonder I was convicted of my sin and expected to die right away!

That encounter used two very personal aspects of my life to grab my attention, thus validating the experience as real, not an imaginary one. Even more amazingly, both are directly related to the 1st and 2nd Advents! So they couldn’t fail to enhance my interest in End-Times that had been kick-started a few years years earlier (mid-1980s) by reading The Invisible Hand and watching tv! (as in About).

The First Advent is when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem of Judea about 2,000 years ago. Hence, the four weeks leading into Christmas are designated in the western church calendar as Advent, and which start the church’s liturgical year.

The Second Advent is coming soon and is expected to commence in Jerusalem – it will be the bodily return of Jesus to rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

My personal encounter featured an element of that, as explained below, and over the next couple of decades I received intriguingly strong confirmations of the encounters reality. I regard them as a ‘triple-validation’; the first of which was as startling as the actual night-vision of 1989.

First Confirmation/validation

I inwardly ‘knew’ the heavenly visitor was indeed Jesus, and that the impressive action was a foretaste of his promised return, when He will come in all His power and glory.

The event reminded me of my favourite picture in mother’s Missal, or service book of the Roman Mass. (This gave the content of every Sunday service throughout the year with a diagram symbolising the theme for each service.) As a boy keen on astronomy I’d been fascinated by the picture for First Sunday in Advent. This depicted Jesus standing on the clouds over a burning earth in the midst of sun, moon and falling stars, indicative of events before his Second Advent!

The confirmation of my encounter came almost as unusually. On a healing retreat years later, a minister told me God would show me something after lunch. Indeed, after lunch a stranger who’d been seated at my table confided that the Lord told her to show me something she greatly treasured.

It was a photo taken, it was claimed, from an aircraft over a thunderstorm. When developed, the photo bore an image of Jesus Christ, as though standing within clouds. However, the facial features were hazy, not defined. It was exactly like Jesus in my dream for I had not seen His face. (I recall dark, hazy clouds at the foot of the image. This one is published by Bible Probe.)

Upon seeing this photo my legs gave way – I couldn’t stand but fell into a nearby chair! My companion said I went so white she thought I was going to faint or fall.

Yet, just how did a stranger know to show me this photo? I’d not divulged such a personal dream – she simply said, “It’s the Lord’s doing”.

Second Confirmation/validation

I was puzzled over the closing element of the dream-event, that is: upon my reaching towards Jesus’ feet to grasp his robe, it turned into the branch of a Christmas tree! So, when I tugged, a Christmas tree toppled over and its fairy fell off and onto the floor.

Weird? Not really, because that spot by the window was where the family Christmas tree used to be erected. So this corner was closely associated with Christmas, and was also where my father’s armchair was located.

As a devout Catholic, my mother had told me about Jesus from an early age. When I painted pictures I would put a blue stripe at the top of outdoor scenes to represent heaven, as children did. But I’d also draw a Christmas tree in heaven as being Jesus.

Why? Not only had I associated all the wonder of Christmas with his birthday but I also heard an actor on TV mention his name whilst looking at a small fir tree. So in my childish way I took the actor at his word and would draw Jesus as a Christmas tree. Hence, the dream changed him to match that image.

At its close, therefore, the dream-event signified the time had come to put away not only childish misconceptions but also all false teachings and replace them with the truth for which I’d been seeking for decades – the one who is the Truth in person.

Truly, the most fantastic Christmas present ever – and a constant encouragement and help in every time of need, no matter how dire. Thank you Lord.

These events started in 1989 and culminated in 1995 with its prime confirmation. Yet more was to come! Sixteen years later upon revisiting this story for the purposes of this blog, I was surprised by a couple more insights that dropped unbidden into mind. One was tantalising: could the street number of my childhood home (212) possibly be significant in pointing toward the coming year? That is, to 2012!

Could that notion be true? Such musing would be confirmed in a fascinating numerical manner at 2012’s first Christian conference we were to attend…Upon our arrival at the venue I was curious about distance driven from home. The car’s odometer read ‘212’ miles!

Third Confirmation/validation

Once again, timing proves crucial in presenting another objective confirmation! Again, had I not been writing once more about the visitation I would have missed the crucial linkage!

When writing the instalments of My Journey Into Freedom in 2013 I inserted a report on something pertinent that happened concurrently in the United States. This came as a ‘new revelatory word’ from the Lord to Revd John Kilpatrick and began at 2:22am. This too, is interesting on two counts. Numerically, because my birthday falls on a 22nd and, verbally, because that word is directly relevant to my dream visitation in referring to the angelic host as well as in closing with Luke 21:28, namely:

But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, lift up your heads, because your redemption is at hand.

September’s totally life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ

To the Glory of God alone is this personal story told:

For He has rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:14 NIV)

RJB Twenty-seven years ago this morning, 14th September 1989, I awoke from a night-vision that is still vividly etched into my soul and spirit. A truly awesome life-changing night.

The tragic deaths of fellow teenagers in 1960’s birthed an ambition to learn what happens at and after death. I had many questions: is there a post-mortem existence? – why’s any discussion of the topic taboo? – because it’s so deeply emotional? – why no definitive, global comprehension of an inescapable, regular event that’s common to every living creature that’s ever existed on this planet? – why haven’t scientists discovered a satisfactory answer?

My search actually led me astray and put me in a personally perilous place. But I believed my journey was an eminently sensible situation – I never guessed how wrong I was!

Decades later, I was unexpectedly confronted by the consequences of that decision upon my own post-mortem existence – a terrifying insight, and retold for the sake of all visitors to this blog.

Personal invitation to build the Kingdom – part 2

BUILDING THE WALL – ALL HANDS ON DECK!

nehemiah-1 As I meditated and worshiped – with the events (below) and building the wall story in mind – the word laid on my heart, added to when given at our fellowship gathering, is three-fold:

1. God’s hand is moving to remove hindrances to growth and moving forward in areas of resistance, doldrums and aridity. Seeds planted will be protected, with supernatural watering for growth. The foxes messing with both spiritual and physical plans, growth and fruitfulness will be removed.

2. It’s time to pick up all that God has given you to build – in one hand His Word and His Spirit in the other natural talents, passions, learning, skills, spiritual gifts etc. The cement that brings this together is the LOVE Christ Jesus gives to us freely. The opposition to building the church (no matter what that may look like I’m your area) is on the run – kingdom workers must take up their positions – arise knowing you are fully equipped and your back is protected while you work.

3. Set a watch and establish an alarm mechanism – mockers and attackers may come, but God is our strength and the work will continue and prosper. Even if your “wall” (something you are doing for God) looks fragile, insignificant or incomplete – what God has sanctioned and started will be completed.

Foxes in the garden

bh-fox-photo Two fox cubs came tearing through my little garden last week – fleeing as if their lives depended on it. After seeing me they bounded with additional speed and leapt onto my back fence. One cub didn’t quite make it and hovered and crawled along the fence before jumping down and running off down the road.

The picture of the fox on the fence stuck in my mind and stirred in my spirit that this happening had meaning.

Motivated by this looked for biblical references. Nehemiah 4 says, “Now Tobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Whatever they build, if even a fox goes up on it, he will break down their stone wall.” This verse however introduces how the builders overcame opposition and discouragement. The story tells how:

Workers on the wall were motivated to work hard and get the job done;
Gaps in the wall were being closed;
Strategy and plans were laid to defend both builders and wall;
The mockers and attackers were sent packing when they heard that the builders were prepared and ready for an attack;
An alarm or communication was established to warn of trouble and to call people together;
Work continued around the clock with builders having bricks and mortar in one hand and a weapon in the other.

Another ‘God-incidence’! After having blogged a Kingdom-related 5th anniversary, which became ‘filling’ (or ‘mortar’!) in a Come Build With Him ‘sandwich’ (part 1 of this post), I started catching up with last week’s email. One was about London’s Tower Bridge:

Recipients read blogger Beverley’s covering remark, “I trust you find (it) encouraging and uplifting – especially if you’ve been in a season or time where “nothing” seems to be happening. Whether we can see or feel things in the natural or not – the river is flowing beneath your feet. My prayer is that you’ll start to smell and feel the water of life”. Amen!

In view of my recollections of central London I replied on Monday, “This is particularly interesting because I could see Tower Bridge from my desk looking toward Cannon St railway bridge from my office building by Southwark Bridge. [A nearby demolition site’s plaque recorded the site of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.] That was in early 80’s before the new Globe was built and sparked off a deepening interest in Elizabethan and Jacobean history as the area played a central role in London’s history. Also in that connection I’d been musing over the anniversary of a dream I had relating to where I’d worked and the coming Kingdom, as recounted in recent blogs”. (Fascinating to discuss that location and history with our guest at that evening’s meal too.)

That and the day’s blog prompted an astonished reply that she had been led “to writing a “building” word. This seems to be a clarion call to the church across the UK.”

I agree and have emphasised because all these recent messages are prophetic of very promising developments in our area – and have already been picked up by an assigned leader!

Also, Glasgow Prophetic Centre informs me that, as a church, they’ve “been deep in Nehemiah and Ezra since January. Nehemiah is very much the book of the season!”

So let’s be ‘Builder Bob’ with the Lord…

Urgent call to pray for PM Theresa May – and re. “Redcoats” word

This Word was given as a follow-up to Veronika West’s Word about Leviathan, the serpent spirit that twists and distorts the truth and restricts God’s work of divine reconstruction in the Nation in this hour. It comes to steal the birthright and kingdom destiny of nations:

This is a concerted attack upon the nations, particularly targeting the United Kingdom, because if the enemy can take this nation out, then he will have the rest of the nations, says the Lord, because the destiny of this nation is important for the destiny of the nations. And I have sent in warriors from certain nations, which has been their task and their role. And they have come in order to bless this nation, and to bring it through to where you are today, says the Lord.

But now My beloved, I need you to take authority over those spiritual forces, to take authority over them and to target them, and to pray for the government.

Pray for the key people in this nation that they will not be taken in by these spirits. They have been targeting Theresa May, when she went to Paris, they have been having a go, and seeking to alter My times and seasons, so pray as you’ve never prayed before for Theresa May, says the Lord.

Pray that her eyes will be opened. Pray that I will remove the veil from her eyes and the spiritual deafness and blindness from her heart.

Pray that the eyes of her heart will be enlightened and that she will see things she’s never seen before.

Pray that she will take good counsel. Pray that I will send her My counsel, by My Holy Spirit, through My saints in government. Pray that they will speak into the situation and warn her.

Pray that the Prophetic will go forth and that she will hear the Prophetic concerning this nation, concerning BREXIT, and concerning the Power Station at Hinkley Point.

I will honour the prayers as you pray in My Spirit.

AN URGENT CALL TO PRAY FOR THERESA MAY

Yesterday evening I had a strange encounter, I was sitting reading the word and praying for the week ahead when suddenly I felt as if I had a noose put around my neck, I began to feel suffocated and choked, even my breathing became difficult.

Immediately, I discerned the presence of a demonic spirit, so I began to pray aloud in tongues and the demon fled, then I heard the Holy Spirit speak,

“Daughter Rise up and Pray for Theresa May! Watch and Be Wary of Leviathan that comes to twist and distort the truth and restrict My work of divine reconstruction in the Nation in this hour”.

As I heard these words and rushed to write them down, suddenly I saw in the spirit, the Nation of China, then I saw the Middle East, then I saw Europe, and again I clearly heard the Spirit say, “Watch and Be Wary of Leviathan that comes to twist and distort the truth and restrict My work of reconstruction in the Nation in this hour”!

So I began to pray and as I cried out to the Lord, He showed me a very large 7-headed serpent coming out of the sea which proceeded to wrap itself tightly around the Nation. Immediately I was reminded of the word God gave me a few weeks ago;

“WATCH FOR THE SERPENT SPIRIT THAT COMES TO KILL DREAMS, DISTORT VISION AND STEAL THE BIRTHRIGHT AND KINGDOM DESTINY OF NATIONS”!

Last night while soaking in His Presence, I had a short but powerful vision where I was shown many Nations, I saw the Nations of Africa, America, Australia, Europe, United Kingdom, India and China, as I looked upon these Nations suddenly I saw a Ladder emerging out of the Heavens over each Nation, I watched closely as the Ladders touched the earth, suddenly I saw what looked like large Python snakes coming up from under the ground, I watched as these large serpents moved upon the ladders, wrapping and coiling themselves tightly around the base of each ladder.

Suddenly I heard the sound of rushing waters and I saw mighty Rivers breaking forth upon the Nations. I watched as the waters rose higher and higher above the ground, until I could no longer see the bottom of the ladders, then I saw the large serpents moving vigorously in the rising waters, I watched intently as the powerful force of the waters current began to wash the serpents away, drowning many of them.

Then I heard a loud voice that said,

“BEHOLD I AM RAISING A STANDARD OVER THE NATIONS IN THIS HOUR, WATCH FOR THERE IS A STIRRING OF WAR WITH THE SERPENT SPIRIT OVER THE NATIONS, LOOK AND SEE FOR THE MIGHTY RIVERS ARE BREAKING FORTH, THE WATERS ARE NOW RISING, RISING, RISING CAUSING THE SERPENT SPIRIT TO BE WASHED AWAY!”

I submit, Here is what the Father revealed to me as I came out of the Vision, Immediately, the Holy Spirit quickened to me Jacobs Dream at Bethel, “Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to Heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.”—Genesis 28:12

Holy Spirit then showed me the heavens breaking open over the Nations of the earth in this season, this is Heaven responding to the cries and deep groanings of Gods people! I saw the ladders forming like bridges between heaven and earth.

I DECLARE; IN THIS HOUR HEAVEN IS TOUCHING EARTH.

Then I heard these words,

“This is the Hour of Divine Visitation and Divine Intervention in the Nations of the earth, For I am pouring out My Spirit on All Flesh. Now Watch For A Confrontation with the enemy is Now Stirring”, says God.

Then He showed me a war that is raging with the Serpent Spirit over the Birthright and Destiny of the Nations in this hour, I saw Satan unleash powerful demonic principalities over the Nations, these are the serpent spirits sent to occupy the gateways to these Nations, these serpent spirits sit as gatekeepers to the Cities and they are contending against the Spirit of Restoration and Revival in the land, they are sent to war against Gods Kingdom manifesting in the earthly realm. These are the messengers of Death and Destruction and these serpent demons have the power to choke out supply and provision, they are powerful in restricting and constricting, they have the power to suffocate the life out of Gods people, and in this hour and season they come to stifle growth, distort Vision, kill Dreams and steal the Birthright and the Kingdom Destiny of the Nations.

As I went deeper into prayer, and sought the Lord for deeper revelation into the serpent spirits that I saw in the Vision, suddenly He showed me a very powerful Serpent Spirit that has come out of the Middle East, and I saw that this spirit has infiltrated many Nations, He showed me the Serpent Spirit of ‘Islam’, as I looked upon this powerful demon serpent I heard the Father say,

“FEAR NOT, FOR THE HEEL OF MY BRIDE SHALL TREAD UPON ITS HEAD AND IT SHALL BE CRUSHED”

I DECREE; THE VICTORY BELONGS TO THE LORD.

Then Father showed me that He is raising a standard over the Nations in this hour, He is mobilising a Mighty Army of Fearless Warriors that shall stand to FIGHT for the Birthright and Destiny of these Nations. And like Jacob these Mighty Warriors have wrestled with the Angel of the Lord, for they now walk in a new way, and their strength in not in their numbers but in the Spirit of Unity they move and advance in great Power and Authority across the land, these are the Anointed Kings and High Priests of the Kingdom of God, Humble servants that have been Called, Chosen and Commissioned by the King of Heaven to go forth to occupy and establish the purposes of God in the Nations of the earth in this hour. These Mighty and Fearless Warriors are the Sons and Daughters of YESHUA that stand Strong, Steadfast, unrelenting, unwavering and unshakeable in their Faith and Expectation, for they have learned to lean heavily upon their Beloved….! “VICTORY OVER DEATH”, IS THEIR BATTLE CRY.

NB: Veronika is referring not to Muslims, each of whom the Lord Jesus loves and died for, but to the great evil that instigates terrorism.

8th Sept: see also Colin Urquhart Defeating the Leviathan Spirit – Peter Dufort writes, “He wrote these notes after having dealt with this spirit in the church – very helpful”. For example, ‘…Because of its deceptive nature, those under its influence can mistake its voice to be from God. Typical phrases that are used by those under its influence are: “The Lord said to me…” and “I felt in my spirit…” But when you check out what is said it does not tie in with either the scriptures or the way in which the Holy Spirit leads people. Remember that its intention is to encourage people to break covenant and to bring division into the church. It opposes covenant and wants people to excuse themselves from contracts and other commitments. [Emphasis added]

‘Typically, this spirit brings false allegations against people, especially those in leadership. Often outrageous things are said that are a complete distortion or twisting of the truth. We are warned in scripture not to bite or devour one another, or we will be consumed by one another. The honouring of one another is essential to prevent this spirit from gaining any foothold in the church….’

Our personal invitation to build the Kingdom – part 1

My doubt that Adam and Eve were the very first people met a chuckle but got no answer. My devout mother was amused at her pre-school son asking, “But who built their house?” To my boyish mind someone must have been around to do that.

Upon recalling that early memory decades later I can see the funny side – but more so in view of what I’d written last week for publishing on Saturday as 5th anniversary of a dream about the Kingdom of God being set up. That had been confirmed by not only a prophetical concurrent comment from Bill Johnson but also, and especially by, how exactly part of my dream matched Christen Forster’s interpretation of the Hebrew text that describes the rebuilding of the Temple in Ezra 4.

Also over the last few days I’ve been mulling over the mismatch between modern church and Jesus’ personal promise at Matthew 16:18 against demonic power portals,

“I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it”

Special September #2 – a Kingdom 5th anniversary today

Five years ago this morning I awoke from a most unusual visit to central London. And that weekend’s events were to prove decisive in my starting this blog.

Two days earlier on Thursday 1st September 2011 the Revival Alliance, an apostolic team of leaders who’d been closely involved with the Toronto Outpouring and later events, met hundreds of other revivalist leaders for a long-weekend in Emmanuel Church in Marsham Street, Westminster.

So now, five years later, I’m surprised to be reminded of it – but things of the Lord are no longer so unusual. We could say He’s running a paper-chase and leaving a trail for us to follow and catch Him! However, more often than not so little effort is needed because He doesn’t scatter His data indiscriminately but drops them like pieces of a puzzle into our hands. We should, therefore, ‘grasp’ what they are and fit them into a vast, unseen jigsaw puzzle.

220px-Paul_Revere's_ride The latest piece depicts Paul Revere’s historic ride before the opening battles in the American Revolution to alert citizens that troops of British king George III are about to attack (more here). Readers of my recent post on the spiritual link between UK and USA will have read at its close how a reminder of the event had unexpectedly cropped up. Had I completed that post when I drafted it last week then I doubt this would have happened. That is, I could well have missed an insight into what happened back in 2011 and its relevance to what the Lord’s now doing in the UK.

Ruminating over and repeatedly blogging about the prophetic word Lydia Marrow brought two months ago yesterday, and its very personal connection with what Nina had seen at 11th June’s traditional royal ceremony, may have stirred my memory – but it’s far more likely the Lord engineered the timing to point to it as being special.

To return to the gathering five years ago, a few days later when writing to Christen Forster, who’d had a prophetic word relating to Ezra 4 about building the house of the Lord and thus desired to convene a meeting of the Revival Alliance in the UK, I learnt about other sources of inspiration at its inception meeting in November 2010. This extract from that meeting’s Report refers to Paul Revere’s ride:

Tim’s remark about that spreading of vision and creation of a network may be regarded not only as meaning RA-related events alone but, in my humble opinion, could also imply that digital networks be developed and expanded to inform and update Christians on prophetic and intercessory matters.

In this connection and for readers who may not have had opportunity to follow the links in that previous post, let me now relate what happened five years ago today, on Saturday 3rd September 2011. I had a most unusual dream as reported to Christen and to the leaders of Winchester Vineyard Church during their de-briefing meeting and emailed them, as later published in one of my earliest blogs (20 December 2011, as linked below):

‘YOUR KINGDOM COME

‘I’m in an open-plan, modern office environment overlooking a town centre. Upon glancing out of one side’s extensive windows I’m amazed to see a large white cube flying very low over nearby buildings! (It’s about the size of a Hercules transport plane.) Watching, I see a few more similar cubes follow and fan out in different directions.

‘Then I look from a different quarter’s aspect to see where they’re coming from and notice this view is from a much higher floor and over a different location! Then, a couple of cubes hover and discharge some cargo, which floats down to settle on the ground – rather as furniture vans deposit items outside a house.

‘However, I’m seeing into a room being set up, as though the building itself is invisible! A large wooden table and its several chairs are already there as white porcelain bathroom furnishings descend, but remain hanging in space!

‘In a flash I understand what’s happening and, without thinking, hear myself comment aloud, “They’re setting up The Kingdom!”

‘Someone else watching disparagingly quips, “Oh, that’s your perspective”.

‘Again I’m surprised by my immediate, unconscious retort, “I studied perception at Uni!” (ie. in physics and in psychology, and am thus making a well-informed comment.)

‘A sudden urgency comes upon me to dash home with this news. Jumping into a car I find my normal route out of the building diverted and a huge vehicle tries to collide with me. Dodging that I drive up a slip road onto a choked road but find this very basic car becomes seriously under-powered.

‘So I get out to walk yet find all hard paving has turned into lush green grass of wide-open meadows. The congested road’s gone and I’m sliding down a well-worn grass slide to then run, or move, much faster than I can really run across an extensive area. I head a few dozen feet above the land, as though in a glider, and some very large object or person rushes from the left to block my path. Totally unfazed, I deliberately collide into it and it smashes into oblivion without halting or affecting my movement.

‘On the nearby horizon an unusual low building looms into view but, as I approach this destination, the alarm clock goes off!!

‘An initial interpretation came with great excitement in view of several revival meetings this month. I believe the Lord gave the above heading for my note of this lucid dream.

‘All this needed weighing BUT I didn’t expect confirmation and more insights not only in connection with the Gathering itself but also with the prophetic word reported at the Gathering’s Inception Meeting in Nov 2010!…’

This continues with details of three subsequent days’ events, as revealed in Father Let Your Kingdom Come. There, you will read why and how that dream’s location directly tied in with the RA gathering’s venue. It was only much later upon reading an account of the event that I received confirmation of my declaration “They’re setting up the Kingdom!” in its echoing the idea behind what Californian Bill Johnson offered there in London:

“We would look back at 1st September 2011 as the day things changed in the UK.”

David Edward Pike, a Welsh delegate, noted that Bill went to say it might take time for the impact of this day to be seen and felt across the nation, but gradually it would come. Chris Welch of Hampshire also noted him as saying,

“There’s something about September 1st. I believe you can write it down…‘Everything changed September 1st 2011’….understand that a Kingdom perspective sees the oak tree as an acorn…I feel like it’s a prophetic word over this country: September 1st everything’s different.”

Of course we need a spiritually-minded historian’s take on events, but we do have a few things to ponder over with the Lord in connection with current events…Bill’s reference to growth from an acorn is particularly relevant to Christian ministry too.

As a personal consequence, that first week of September 2011 marked the tipping point in my decision to start blogging because, as indicated in that dream, the news of increasing Kingdom developments needed to be broadcast far more widely – and in public – than by private circulation of emails to my inter-church friends and leaders.

A linkage between Awakening in the UK and in the USA

Hitch-hiker and author of High Plains Drifter, Tim Shey, opens his comment on Prophetic words on Great Britain as sports-superpower, as follows:

‘I was reading the Psalms the other day and in Psalm 103: 31 it is written:“And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.”

‘I thought about Great Britain when I read that scripture. Look at all the saints that died preaching the Gospel in Britain and the ones who died translating the Bible into English. Look at what happened in England during the 1600s: the King James Bible, the English Civil War, the Glorious Revolution: these greatly influenced the formation of the United States and other nations. The Lord will never forget Great Britain. The most influential language on the planet is English.’

With that in mind, note how appropriate that is for what we were to hear later that Monday evening whilst watching the recently delivered dvds from Legacy 2016. I wanted to check the full content of Lydia Marrow’s address that I’d blogged about the previous week.

Therefore, let’s consider what followed after the powerful prophecy delivered under Holy Spirit’s anointing on 2nd July. Lydia’s ‘topping and tailing’ of it gives some background to her great excitement!

After Nathan Morris speaks about the vision of Shake The Nations he hands the mike to Lydia to introduce herself and her role in STN and she says:

“I used to be shy – I used to hide behind the pews in my dad’s church and when Jesus set me free in the Brownsville Revival I got up and I was a different person. I lost my ‘normal’ – my ‘normal’ died in the carpet in Pensacola, Florida – so please don’t try to resurrect it!

“I know I’m supposed to do another thing but I feel like an explosion – would it be alright if I prophesied now, ok? I feel like I’m about to blow up y’all.” [Reader, if you’ve not yet run seen this very brief video now’s the time to do so – Full transcript here.]

Immediately after declaring “The British are coming!” Lydia encourages everyone to stand, pray and praise for a minute…closing with, “I feel better for that – d’y’all feel better?”

“I refuse to be bored in church and this pastor’s daughter decided a long time ago: I refuse to be bored in church – if we’re not going to meet with God let’s go home!

“It’s just such an honour to be here. In case you’re wondering why I’m so passionate about God pouring His Spirit in the UK, history tells us that the United Kingdom and the United States do not have Awakening apart from one another! (emphasis added)

“You’ve got to break through! We need it too! In fact, it seems to me that lately our nations are all shook up…I felt so much better when I got here and everyone started resigning. Thank God we’re not the only crazy people!

“We’ve got to have a move of God…I don’t know if you know it but there’s no ‘Plan B’! We don’t have a better idea – there’s no comfort zone to have anymore. We’ve got to have a move of God.

“You know, and I believe – and you’ve seen it in these services – there comes a moment in each service when you’ve got this option to do what your idea was, or to cooperate with the Holy Ghost…There’s a cooperation with the Holy Spirit that comes, and when we choose to say “Yes” to that – when you choose to lock into that – everything changes.”

Each time we watch her delivering this prophecy the Holy Spirit confirms its authenticity by sparking within us, as when He ‘struck’ during Trooping of the Colour. If this sort of ‘event’ is new to you then please consider the introductory remarks of that link.

[Continuing writing 5 days later after long Bank Holiday Weekend…]

Long-time readers may have noticed an increase in my blogging about a spiritual linkage between the UK and USA, especially regarding words delivered under the Holy Spirit’s unction. These got tagged Bridge Over The Pond. So I’m now skimming through these to add a couple more items to the suggested reading list below.

I find the very first blog on this topic may itself be especially significant – it’s Get Ready… and refers to historic Paul Revere’s Ride. [Even typing that brings up ‘goose bumps’! And maybe it’s in conjunction with Kenny Peavy and band singing Holy, Holy Is The Lord Our God!!]

WOW – how can I share what’s coming in this timing? I’m reminded of Lydia prophesying, “The Redcoats are coming. The British are coming!” – reputedly Paul Revere’s alarm call to fellow colonialists in Massachusetts as he and two others rode from Boston on the night of 18th April 1775.

But today those words are are spiritual alarm call to the new Awakening!

And this ‘God-incidence’ brings a download of insights into a dream of almost 5 years ago when I saw and heard “The Kingdom is being set up”. That was the same day Bill Johnson prophesied that weekend in Sept 2011 may be regarded as a turning point in the UK (see Father Let Your Kingdom Come.) A preparatory report of 2010 to that Revival Alliance Gathering referred to the relevance of that ‘ride’ but this is no longer available on the web.

I can but conclude, therefore, a great deal is happening in the heavenlies to bring about a massive shift within our historically linked nations. Ours has already begun…

On visions, maps, timing and God’s jigsaw of harvest of souls in New Britain

Hands Holding World by Twobee Prediction, prophetic words and visions are pieces of God’s invisible jigsaw puzzle. The spirit of wisdom taught Solomon ‘It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings’ (Prov 25:2).

Moreover, as mature sons and daughters of The King, His Holy Spirit may enable us to discern pieces and aspects of the immense invisible jigsaw He’s laying down – and it seems to be of the harvest foretold in scripture.

We need to consider some recent, related events first:

Yinka Oyekan’s vision of the coming harvest of souls in New Britain isn’t the only one to have been received by Christians. His, however, connects into a developing one that came to me before and after the EU Referendum.

Yinka posted on Facebook 4th August about angelic armies, areas being newly blessed and the harvest. The next day Veronika West brought A Now Word for the UK. which opens by referring to the ongoing spiritual battle that I’ve covered elsewhere, and then goes on,

‘Listen!…Listen! Heaven heralds new hope, new life and UNPRECEDENTED HARVEST IN THIS HOUR“! I see battle lines drawn in the spirit…’

I quote extracts from this magnificently heartening word but, to gain a proper appreciation of the outcome, I strongly recommend your reading it in full from the above-titled link:

HARVEST FIELDS!

‘I wanted quickly share something with you all, this morning in my prayer time, I had a short vision, and in this vision I was shown what looked like a LARGE FIELD OF CORN, THE HARVEST LOOKED READY. AS I LOOKED UPON THE FIELD I COULD SEE WHAT APPEARED TO BE WARRING ANGELS STANDING IN THE FIELD, AS I LOOKED AT THEM, EACH ANGEL PERFECTLY AND STRATEGICALLY POSITIONED, SOME FACED THE EAST, SOME FACED THE WEST, SOME FACED THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH…

‘My interpretation the HARVEST IS READY, AND HELL IS NOT HAPPY!!! I submit Satan has assigned His demonic cohorts to the fields that are READY for Harvest. There is battle over the United Kingdom that is raging in the heavens in this hour for this ETERNAL HARVEST…’

Personally, this is exceptionally encouraging because the parable Jesus taught about the harvest in the ‘Gospel According to an Inland Revenue Tax-collector’ (see Matthew 13:) prompted my starting to write with ‘The End-game is Now in Play’. NOW, get ready to find out how eight pieces of an invisible jigsaw came together:

Lead-in to EU-Refendum

The day I blogged about previous Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s prediction of popular opinion about the European Union along the lines what prophet Daniel foresaw (see Daniel chapter 7) we went to Winchester for an evening meeting of intercessors. Our friend Neil Mackereth, whose summary Stay or Leave? was one of the first of many blogs on the EU membership referendum, had mentioned that gathering and we thought it appropriate to attend.

That day I published Vision of Spiritual Battle for Britain’s Birthright in which Veronika West claims to have seen mighty warrior angels in a fierce battle and tug of war over the future destiny and sovereignty of the UK, wherein she saw:

“A Mighty Guardian Angel stood hundreds of feet tall and with eyes of blazing fire: he stood with a raised sword and shield which completely overshadowed the whole Nation of Britain”.

At the evening’s inter-church intercession a couple of folk brought scripture and prayers about our spiritual birthright. Towards the close I referred in passing to the vision of UK’s Guardian Angel but, at the very mention, a couple of sisters were affected so strongly in their spirits they immediately reacted physically. (Like when the Lord spoke to Nina during Trooping of the Colour and she saw the scrolling text: “This is MY country!”)

Winchester – 1st jigsaw piece

Other than with Neil and convener Caroline, I haven’t yet shared what I’d ‘seen’ throughout the meeting in Winchester Vineyard church. Here’s my email to her:

‘Whilst we stood in a rough circle I kept getting the impression of a huge outline of Britain hazily hovering a foot or so off the floor between us. It was as though we were standing as giants all around and looking down on Britain with our backs turned towards Europe and Scandinavia…

‘I was positioned by the ‘Isle of Wight’ and, after Neil read about Jesus telling Satan to get behind him, I was moved to declare that S in Europe get behind and away from Britain.

‘Also, I saw a huge tear through the ‘map’ and emerge over a larger area (ie North Downs to Scottish borders?) then when I saw a similar but very clear open vision 12 years ago (https://richards-watch.org/2011/08/18/comments-on-sharon-stone-collapse-of-society/ refers)

This latest was a faint yet persistent, transparent outline of the English, Scottish and Welsh coastline. I noticed it was as though on a large map-table in a ‘situation’ or war-room and we could perhaps be engaged in strategic planning.

At the close of the meeting it suddenly ripped open, as though an immense and invisible tin-opener had pierced and prized open most of the land. I saw torn parts of metal curling upwards along the length of the country north of Salisbury Plain and across from Swindon area to west of London. The colour of the land that was ‘visible’ was an orange-sand all over – how peculiar, thought I.

Referendum Polling Day

In the late 1970’s ‘Sandra’ was blessed with a vision of Britain lighting up, similar to that of Jean Darnall but without knowing about her until later. The Lord directed ‘Sandra’ to keep praying since 2002 because “the tide has turned” and told her it would look as though He’s not answering prayers, “But I am, in my own time and in My own way”. On 23rd June she was able to observe remarkable events at a polling station and informs me:

“I watched God’s miracles unfold – incredible even though I’d prayed for this for many years. There was 80% turnout…queuing at the door before 7am determined to vote as soon as polls opened. All day they came, old people and 1st-time voters, and many in between. Some did not know how to vote but they were determined anyway. I know God would have influenced them in their choice. Some had great physical disabilities and could hardly walk or some had other impairments but they got themselves there somehow. There wasn’t any time for staff to take lunch. It was truly amazing. In the end, whether they acknowledge him or not, all people will serve their Creator. “Your Kingdom’s coming – Salvation Day – a time of breakthrough – the Lord is on His way. Only our God is strong to save. Only our God will save us.” Thank God that we will never completely know the horrors from which we have been saved had the country voted the other way. Thank God that He will, in time, help Europe too.”

All that’s especially so in view of polling day’s unusually heavy storms and flooding!

Peterborough – 2nd, 3rd & 4th jigsaw pieces

Shake the Nations Legacy Conference in Peterborough (covered briefly here) brought developments upon that Winchester vision. During the elevating, prolonged worship of the first evening I sensed a golden-yellow light radiating towards East Anglia and out over the North Sea. (The 2nd piece.)

Funnily enough it was directional and not a full circle – just like we see on radar screens depicting where the radar beam is sweeping. Again it was another map image.

A couple of worship sessions later I had a distinct impression of a map of the UK main-land and again it was like a bright orange sandy beach but this time it was all over, for the huge gap that I’d seen previously had disappeared! Furthermore, I saw a giant hand moving all around the land gently smoothing and patting it. Any signs of ‘cataclysmic’ tear across the nation had been folded back, repaired and healed and covered by what appeared to be a nation-wide field of colour void of any habitations or forestry. Then I realised the entire land looks just like an immense field ripe for harvest: all the way from Lands’ End in Cornwall to John O’Groat’s at the top of Scotland and across from the Welsh peninsulars to the eastern coast abutting the North Sea! It must surely signify all Britain will soon be harvested for souls coming into the Kingdom of God – their personal salvation! Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord that His will will be done on earth – in Britain – as it is in heaven!

This new vision was soon to be confirmed. On the morning STN staff shared their vision for further global evangelism worship leader Lydia Marrow from Alabama suddenly burst into prophetic flow about many towns in the UK erupting with heavenly rivers – the 4th piece! Also, she called for “Redcoats” (Yankee term for 18th Century British army) to come, which must relate somehow to what the Lord was indicating when Nina saw the Coldstream Guards marching down the Mall for Trooping The Colour. I’d drafted most of the preceding paragraphs as soon as I could on Wednesday morning. As I was doing so yet more pieces to the jigsaw puzzle appeared via my PC. Whyever not? Many times as I blog relevant email, news or songs have turned up ‘coincidentally’ . After all, the Lord taught me a deep lesson whilst building it (see And Now A PC Gospel?)

Angels in Peterborough – 5th & 6th jigsaw pieces

Now for an excellent example of the Lord’s timing, or ‘God-incidence’. Soon after I started writing about Winchester an email arrived from a couple with whom I’m only occasionally in touch. We’d met Peter and Rosamund D at the gathering of early 2012 mentioned in the post about the new PM’s mission fulfilling a 2005 prophecy (see Fulfilled Prophecies #9). [‘Weirdly’ enough the distance to that venue in Torquay was another validation of my encounter with the Lord in 1989 as well as of prophecies for 2012, as recounted here.]

Their email is headed ‘Vision on 3rd August 2016 at Faith Camp Peterborough (!!) during the prophetic worship’ and is the 5th piece. It reads:

‘Immediately the prophetic worship started on Wednesday evening, I had an awesome vision.

‘My husband and I both heard a “creaking” sound! The Lord said, “I have opened the ancient gates to the nation!” Then I saw millions upon millions of warrior angels arrive through these ancient gates. They were all dressed for battle and close together in formation. Then I saw a great light, as the Lord Himself arrived.’

Immediately I stopped blogging and, in view of the 6th piece – a dream I’d had that very morning (Wednesday), I could confirm their vision and replied as follows:

‘Had an awesomely powerful dream that woke me up wide-awake. It was multi-level symbolism and conscious learning with continual and intense praying and prophesying in tongues for UK. In essence, I think it means the Lord is empowering intercessors…to declare and prophesy Godly changes into our leaders and situations, thereby taking our heavenly rulership so that His will will now be done on earth as it is in heaven; ie. for and in Britain. He even gave me an understanding of how His purpose for Britain inspired Henry VIII’s building a naval fleet, thereby preparing for our great maritime power in evangelising globally and building a Christian empire.
‘…the most powerful part was when I saw swing-doors/gates closing against what was coming from the heavenly realm YET the power from heaven continued to pour through mightily!!’

Peter replied, “We are encountering one divine set-up after another!”

Prophetic Word from Oz – 7th jigsaw piece

Taking a break later that day I mulled over hard-copies of long prophetic words that I only have time for quickly scanning on-screen. One was Word for the Nations, including UK from Amanda Wells, now shown in Thursday’s post.

It confirmed that insight into Henry VIII’s fleet by Amanda’s referring to August trade winds having “enabled the European empire to expand into the Americas and trade routes to become established across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans…Historically trade routes were the avenue were the avenue where religion, trade and technology spread across regions…many became paths for great revivals also…”

The ‘Now Word’ for UK – 8th jigsaw piece

Today (Thursday) I decided to scroll through Veronika West’s site as my Facebook blog-page doesn’t get any automatic feeds from those I’m interested in. So I caught up with her post of 5th August, as above, wherein she describes seeing “A large field of corn – the harvest looked ready”, rather like the UK-wide golden ripe field in my third map vision described above.

All of this relates back to 2009 when I had to tell friends and church leaders about Matt 13 parable of wheat and tares and that I’d heard, “This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”

Conclusion

To those personal eight pieces we could add the original that ‘kick started’ them, the vision of a spiritual battle given to Veronika and that to Yinka of regional awakening and harvest.

Could our heavenly Father like doing jigsaw puzzles with us? Has He got a jigsaw box ‘Souls Harvest’ and does He want us to help Him solve it and put it all together? Events and evidence suggest that’s what He’s got and would like us to do – so we thank and praise our Heavenly Father in revealing His plans to His sons and daughters.

Revealing the Sons of God

It is timely too in tandem with this morning’s dream that awoke me into being fully alert, because it was one of the most awesome and powerful dreams I’ve had since He rescued me from satan’s domain. And it enables me to confirm Mike’s remarks on heavenly realms per Galatians 4

Revealing We are all on a journey from slavery to sonship, and those two conditions are very different. Slavery breeds a poverty spirit, fear and lack of identity; sonship breeds faith, identity, resources and responsibility.

Empower a slave and it leads to rebellion, betrayal and treason, as with Israel in the wilderness. They were given freedom and responsibility, but they showed no loyalty to God or to Moses because they still had a mindset of slavery (see Exodus 15-17, 32, Numbers 21). On the other hand, restrict a son and it will hinder creativity. When someone knows who they are, God can inspire them to release their own creativity into His creation.

So we have to be careful not to empower people who don’t know who they are nor to restrict those who do. We need to put things in place which will help sons come into the…

Britain and Brexit: a word on the why and wherefore – Awakening!

God’s been speaking to me a lot about Brexit, which I knew nothing about before I came to the UK. And He gave me a Word, He said

“This has been by My Sovereign hand that the vote went the way it did, I am safeguarding Britain for when Europe falls. Europe is being shaken, and will fall. It will fall, says God, but Britain has separated itself, and because of this vote, the UK will not fall. It will be like in the days when Joseph was in Egypt. Like Egypt was to the world, so Britain will become to the world in years to come. Once again Britain will become the Bread Basket to many countries, and a place of safety, and a place of provision. And it’s been an answer to the call of My Saints, who have prayed faithfully and said ‘Lord protect us and save us’.”

That’s why it happened. There were people who cried out and said Lord would you heal Britain, would you hear our cry, and He did. So even though it goes beyond some people’s understanding, God says He is safeguarding Britain through this vote. God is asking a people of faith to get behind this. Believe that He’s answered a cry of prayer. And even though it can’t be understood fully right now, God is going to show His great hand and what He’s done, and we’re going to thank Him and praise Him for this, because there’s a victory that has come out of this and is coming. He’s establishing Britain as a leader once again. He’s awakening the sleepers, the ones who’ve been asleep spiritually He’s awakening. The army is rising up, God is raising up His body in this nation, with power. (Emphasis RB)

Along with email notification of this word this morning’s in-tray also included a couple from this blog of comments from Sally and Angela about sensing over the past few months that a ‘sleeping giant’ has woken up and is about to arise! (see Visions of New Britain’s Natural and Spiritual Revival – 1).
These are strongly reminiscent of a picture a friend shared at the 2012 Torquay conference referred to in the previous post. It is included in this blog’s Library and although not directly relevant to the EU Referendum it plainly speaks of the Lord’s action and plans directly associated with ‘Brexit’. Lyn F described it as follows:
“When in Cornwall had very strong impression as if I was positioned at the south-west of Cornwall looking at the land mass of England, Scotland and Wales from the air. In a moment I saw rising up from Scotland first, like the lid of a container with the hinge being at the extreme end of Cornwall, the “Body of Christ”. Impressed that the ‘Body’ is everywhere and there are people ‘hidden’ who are so much part of it. I was then taken aback by the thought that it appeared to be like a sleeping giant rising up powerfully and suddenly. The experience left me with hope and anticipation for what God would do in spite of how things appeared.”

Visions of New Britain’s natural and spiritual renewal – #1

On return after the long weekend I found two emails about similar visions of great blessing upon the land and people now we’re being freed from the shackles of slavery to the EU. This from Angela Jelf was sent on Friday morning:

‘Thought I would email you about an experience (or series of God-incidences) I had on Monday. Whilst driving I was singing along to a Bethel Worship CD. ONE of the songs on the album is instrumental so I began to sing out my own song to God. It became a prophetic prayer over Britain. As I sang, I saw in my mind’s eye a map of the British Isles, and suddenly, from the south and going upwards into the North, I saw flowers springing up all over the place and beginning to unfurl their petals, just like in those films you sometimes see that have been speeded up. (Heard a prophecy about things happening quickly recently…what would have taken seven years will take seven months and what would have taken seven months will take seven days.)

I felt this was to do with our coming away from the EU and that something has/or will begin to change in the UK. The land will bloom and blossom once again as we are cut off from a kind of spiritual ‘shade’ that’s been over us. It was a beautiful picture which reminded me of The Secret Garden, where the locked up garden has fallen into neglect and the children find the key to the door and begin to clear away the branches and the brambles and leaves and let the light back in.

As I kept singing I began to declare that as a prophetic sign we would begin to see and hear reports of an increase in all sorts of wildlife that hasn’t been seen in years – I particularly sensed and called out an increase in butterflies, birds and beetles.
Before going to bed on Monday night, I felt intrigued. Had there been a decline in British Wildlife in recent years? Curiously I typed into Google “UK wildlife in decline over last 40 years” (I typed 40 yrs deliberately knowing we’ve been EU members for roughly 40 yrs) & to my surprise I found report after report. Yes, there has been a hugely significant decline in wildlife – specifically butterflies and birds and specifically over the last 40 years!
The Essex Skipper, the Small Heath, The Wall butterfly, the Marsh Fritillary, and many others have experienced up to a 76 percent decline in abundance or occurrence over last four decades (according to an article on the Butterfly Conservation Website, dated 14 Dec, 2015).

It’s the same sad story with birds: Willow Tits, Turtle doves, Cuckoos, Starlings, Lapwings and Grey Partridges falling into ‘shocking’ decline over past forty years, not to mention the sparrow.

When I saw the Turtle Dove mentioned, I had a feeling it was a bird found in scripture. I fell asleep thinking: ” I think it’s in Song of Solomon”.
In the morning I woke up early and grabbed my Bible and found the reference: (I could hardly believe how apt it was!)’

“Arise my darling, my beautiful one, and come along,
For behold, the winter is past and the rain is over and gone,
The flowers have already appeared in the land,
The time has arrived for the pruning of the vines,
And the voice of the Turtledove has been heard in our land
The fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance”

‘I immediately relayed this experience to my mum, and she in turn shared it at her prayer group. ONE of the members of the prayer group got in touch the very next day to say that whilst she was telling her husband about my experience, a butterfly flew into her conservatory and remained there all afternoon.’ (As shown.)

Also, that sister in the Lord had received an exceptionally helpful quotation of the Song of Solomon (The Passion Translation). Angela continues:

‘I know this is a long story but I am convinced that God is going to do this! Listen out for reports over the next few years of an increase in butterflies and birds! And keep praying/declaring that Britain will be freed from the entangling branches of the EU. I believe He will restore the years the locusts have eaten and Great Britain will once again flourish in abundance!’

Yesterday, seeking Angela’s permission to publish I told her the other incoming email has a new prophetic word on Britain and which confirms what she’s saying!

Meanwhile, today’s inspiration from Glasgow Prophetic Centre re-affirms both visions:

God’s Glory In Everything – Lion Bites Tues 26th July

Don’t wait for the rare and mighty explosions of power but see that my power is manifest all around you! It is not only in the mighty signs that you will find me but my power and glory is in manifest in you and all around you.

Let me open your eyes to see the wonder in every moment today, the intricacies of life that surround you. When you really look you will see the glory that I have deposited in other people. Also, notice my glory in the food that grows and finds itself to your table, rejoice in the glory that is revealed by the sun rising every day and in the wild flowers by the road side.

Be still, open your heart, allow me to reveal my glory – not just in the explosions but even in the gentlest of ways.
