It’s not the End but the Start of an amazing, wonderful New Day!

It’s ‘kinda-coincidental’ that early on Tuesday morning two readers left encouraging comments on February’s post: Dreams and visions of Big Ben at the prophetical midnight hour – and that I saw that day’s headline on the clock’s chimes being silenced for four years and wanted to blog about that (see previous post). And it was opportune to use a graphic of Big Ben from an unknown source used to announce an intercessory gathering in Canterbury under the designation “It Is Time”!

The first of those comments was from Jonathan and followed up his earlier remarks,

‘With these prophecies I think it’s significant (as I e-mailed you at the time Richard) that the big prayer movement thing in South Africa that started early this year has been called “It’s Time”, as that was the message at least one of its organisers said God had given him.’

So I replied to him about that same title being used in a Canterbury meeting. Within half an hour of his commenting Sarah submitted this excellent, revelatory account:

‘I recently felt God saying it was a new day and I saw the sun rising. I was surprised as in Jewish culture a new day starts the evening and then its darkest before the dawn. But here was a new day like our culture is used to with the sun rising. So Malachi 4:2 makes sense to me in this context.

‘A couple or so years ago I had a vision / God video with music (which was playing on the radio), it was an Adele song “When the sky falls we all stand together” and I saw the children of God all hand in hand with Jesus amongst them. They were totally pure and clean, they were blameless. They walked together as the sun rose on a new day and then Jesus spoke to me. He said,

“It isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of an amazing and wonderful new day”.

‘I haven’t been the only one to say they get the general impression that they are walking into heaven on earth. I think we are as the Kingdom of God is expanding and now is the time that God is making all things new. I used to be scared of end times, but after that vision I wasn’t the same at all because God gave me hope through it. That there wasn’t anything to worry about, and that although I felt at the time like I was still a sinner, the reality was that I was blameless because of what Jesus did on the cross and there was hope in the new day we were all walking into, totally innocent children of God…’

To me (Richard) this is particularly pertinent because I’ve been musing about the distinct and stark contrast between the futures of the righteous and the unrighteous, between believers in Jesus and those who won’t. Scripture foretells worldwide judgments upon unregenerates but that those in Christ will safely escape Father’s wrath. Yet, in rapidly approaching that time, how does that difference manifest?  For a while I’ve wondered if the divergent, opposing theological views may somehow be reconciled…and then a ray of revelation dawned…

In considering how prophecies made by Jesus and Paul apply to the apostasy of the recent Synod I blogged about the Day of the Lord and repeat for ease of reference:

‘…it’s important not to overlook the fact that in quoting Isaiah 61 as His ‘mission statement’, Jesus opened that scroll in the synagogue and quoted the first verse only, and then stopped short (Luke 4:16-21). The Spirit of the Lord God was upon and anointed Him to preach the Good News, to heal the broken-hearted and bring release for those bound as though imprisoned. That was the purpose of His First Advent, but the subsequent verses allude to the anointing also continuing in His Second Advent, namely:

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God…”

In other words, Jesus’ mission was to proclaim the ‘Year of God’s Favour’ across Judea and Galilee and even into Samaria. It was implicit that the ‘Day of God’s Vengeance’ would follow in due course, and the subsequent revelation Jesus was given into that momentous future event was recorded by John in ‘The Apocalypse’. BUT the reference to that dread ‘Day of the Lord’ in the whole of Isaiah 61 is miniscule – it’s only one tiny clause in a long very positive, uplifting sentence!  AND the chapter’s remaining nine verses continue in the very same vein! (Check it yourself in NIV-UK.)

Therefore, whilst they may be severe shaking and demonic darkness the light, love and favour not only continues but also increases enormously for all those who are in Christ!

So thank and praise the Lord for confirming this in what You shared with Sarah…

To ‘bong’ or not to ‘bong’? That’s the Big Ben question as the nation waits…

August is renowned as the ‘silly season’ for odd and weird stories because of the holiday period’s dearth of normal, newsworthy events. Yesterday’s banner headline shown below seems simply part of that season because of the Health & Safety aspects – but that belies the status of a significant symbol of our nation’s identity.

The disruption of our famous clock’s mechanism strikes at our heart but not necessarily for the reasons stated in the Telegraph, its editorial and news of MPs’ anger at being kept in the dark over details of the proposed work!  [Today: Theresa May says “It can’t be right for Big Ben to be silenced for four years”.]

Regular readers of this blog are well aware not only of Big Ben’s symbolic importance but also and more especially of the many words and dreams about it at the prophetical ‘midnight hour’. So whatever the outcome of the present rumpus, it won’t surprise the Lord for He could be in the discussions and use them to bring about His purposes, or else work around them to achieve His sovereign will for Britain, thereby getting us fully ‘in sync’ with His will. (As in the word for 2014-16 brought by Revd Dr Sharon Stone in her ‘Clarion Call’.)

Tuesday 15 August ‘Final’ morning broadsheet edition (tap for digital version)

It wasn’t until later yesterday that I caught up with news and activity on this blog and was very pleased to notice a number of past posts had shot into the popular posts listing. So, I stuck them temporarily to the home page for quick reference and now replace them with this post.

A summary of some points which may be applicable should thus prove useful:

  • R Piercey 2016-17 – “…Interesting in view of the picture I received some years ago of the Lion of Judah hovering over Big Ben; his huge paw was about to hit the clock face, where the hands pointed at 2 minutes to midnight. (I somehow knew it was midnight rather than midday).” …I believe it’s now important to share more widely what Rosemary added. Upon phoning for permission to publish today she responded without any hesitation, “Absolutely! now’s the time!”…“A few notes on the picture that hit me this morning. Someone whose opinion I value gave me a word a few weeks ago that I was a General in the King’s army; this morning I was led to read the story of Gideon again, and was reminded of his requests from God for signs. I then asked the Lord for a sign that would confirm whether or not the “General” word was true. After a short time a very vivid picture came to me of a huge bowl suspended on 3 chains above the Houses of Parliament; the bowl swung in the winds of secularism and resulting godless laws. I felt the Lord saying that this was a bowl of his wrath, which of course is a recurrent theme in the Bible – bowl, cup etc. This is not to negate in any way the positive prophecies we are receiving; many of us know that the spiritual atmosphere has changed, and we are seeing remarkable answers to prayer in our country. Nevertheless we are also called to repent, especially for what has happened in the churches, and I feel a huge urgency for this; we are in danger of losing the blessings if we are simply going to rest on the blessings. This is vitally important and I feel there is no time to lose; the bowl is tipping, and we could feel the results at any time.”
  • RB/TPuccio, Feb 2017 – ‘Today, as I prepare this compilation I draw Tony’s attention to Rosemary’s reminder on the previous blog of her picture of Big Ben and he asks for my ‘take’ on this and “What’s the Lord saying to you?” Well I didn’t have time to even think and ask Him, but was just running with my spirit’s ‘gut instinct’ as a ‘joiner of prophetic dots’ (as Glasgow calls me). So I reply that I’m busy compiling this account and will seek Him later – BUT then get a quick nudge to add, “‘…immediate thought as I type is, “It’s warning of the Lord’s Return!” ie. not long now! Tony replies, “Indeed! It would seem that the midnight hour is upon us.”
  • T Puccio March 2017 – “I had another dream about Big Ben only this time I saw it arise from the clock face on the ground to  its original height, perhaps even taller. I remember hearing it bonging, however, it did not cease as one would have expected when it had chimed the hour of the day but was a continual bonging. Then I saw people in beds asleep and I perceived that the bonging was to awaken from slumber those who were sleeping.’  
  • C Shamp June 2017 – Keep your eyes upon Big Ben something supernatural is about to be seen. As I was praying today I was taken to Big Ben in London, England. I heard the Lord say, “My eye is upon this land and my hand upon the nation’s time, a kairos moment is about to come! I will cause a sign to come from Big Ben that will mark the moment that I have changed the time and season for the nation of England and the city of London. Everything will stop and people will turn to see and hear. Tell my people to mark the moment when it comes to pass for it will be sign of great change in the land.”

Let us take all those words received and delivered to the Lord in prayer and wait upon Him.

Lastly, it’s particularly fascinating the change in the clock’s chiming set for 21st August is one month to the day before Rosh Hashana, the ‘head of year’ for Jewish New Year 5778, with its unconnected relevance to Biblical End-times prophesied in  1 Thess 5:3 – ‘(The Day of the Lord will come…) while people are saying “Peace and Safety”…!!

Vision and report of change in N Korea’s president and people

We have a couple of encouraging developments relating to the major prophetic words of last January and April and a recent vision of North Korea’s president Kim Jon-ung.

First, the Telegraph’s report Kim-Jon-ung ‘no longer seen as god’ as worshiping North Koreans ‘place their faith elsewhere’.:

The extremely harsh treatment meted out to anyone practising anything other than the state’s form of communism and deification of its presidents has been confirmed by a defector who’s since become a member of the Seoul-based Worldwide Coalition to Stop Genocide in North Korea. According to the report,

 “Officially sanctioned persecution of people for religious reasons is still there and, I would say, even stronger than before”. But subtle changes are slowly becoming visible, said the defector, who declined to be named as he is active in assisting underground churches operating in the North.

“In the past, the people were told to worship the Kim family as their god, but many North Koreans no longer respect Kim Jong-un”, he said. “That means they are looking for something else to sustain their faith.

 “In some places, that has led to the emergence of shamens, but the Christian church is also growing and deepening its roots there”, he said.

“Even though people know they could be sent to prison – or worse – they are still choosing to worship, and that means that more cracks are appearing in the regime and the system”, he added.

Secondly, a Nebuchadnezzar-type vision and prophetic word on Kim Jong-ung and featuring two prominent Christians is recounted by Veronica West on 11 August.

The two seen praying with him are Bill Johnson of Bethel California and South African Rodney Howard-Browne.

While a preemptive North Korean nuclear attack on the U.S. and/or America’s Pacific allies sounds like a plot ripped from my 2008 novel, Dead Heat, it may no longer be a fictional scenario.

U.S. intelligence agencies are now convinced that “North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit inside its missiles, crossing a key threshold on the path to becoming a full-fledged nuclear power,”reports the Washington Post, based on a confidential analysis by the Defense Intelligence Agency.

“The United States calculated last month that up to 60 nuclear weapons are now controlled by North Korean leader Kim Jong In,” notes the Post.

This week, Pyongyang threatened to attack the island of Guam with ballistic missiles that could be armed with nuclear weapons. With 160,000 residents and two U.S. military bases, the Pacific island territory now appears to be in Pyongyang’s crosshairs.

Kissinger is right on both counts

For those who aren’t familiar with Henry Kissinger, he was the secretary of state during the late Nixon and Ford years, 1973-1977.

He is considered by many to be the greatest secretary of state, in terms of statesmanship, of the last half of the twentieth century. He is the one who worked to open up China, to get America out of the Vietnam War, détente with the Soviet Union, and of course to engineer the Petrodollar system. Fulfilled prophecies #10 & #13: a 6th time! – corruption in and fall of the EU

It’s time to remind ourselves of a couple of prophetic words of the many on the EU and Brexit and realise they continue to show the Lord’s hand at work in their fulfillment.

First, the awesome warning David Noakes delivered in November 2015 urging us to leave the EU (see UK/EU in/out #4). I’ve emphasised the more pertinent phrases:

“Nation of Britain, I have loved you with a love which has not ceased, despite the state of apostasy and degradation into which you have fallen. My anger towards those church leaders who have taught false things in my Name, and encouraged others to believe and act as they do, is intense and my judgment upon them will be severe. Yet I have compassion upon those who have been like sheep without godly shepherds; and my heart still longs to exercise mercy upon a nation whose forefathers upheld my Name and took my Word to the ends of the earth; a nation whose belief in the truth of my Word framed godly laws and inspired a culture of uprightness.

“Rather than rely on Me and my faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied my Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of me and its hardness of heart towards my ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore my hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

“Hear Me, O once godly nation and respond to my call, or you also will come to ruin in that same judgment of destruction. This is not my will for you, but you must choose the course which you will take. I urge you to respond to Me and choose life under my hand of discipline and protection, rather than death in the disaster which is even now coming upon Europe.”

Then in May 2016 in mulling over events I asked Is The Lord Exposing Rotten Politics? First UK, then USA – next EU??  It proved to be a ‘semi-conscious’ prophecy.

Both words quickly came into play, as in Fulfilled Prophecies #13 and #10 respectively – and more soon manifested (here, here and here). We now have yet another fulfillment – the 6th!!

Readers interested in Brexit may have kept abreast of developments regularly reported on Jonathan Ely’s excellent Facebook resource, Why Leave EU? There you’ll have noticed Poland’s objections to EU judicial reforms (Tusk threatens to kick Poland out of EU) and that Spain closes its border with Africa because the EU’s failure to stem the mass influx of migrants.  Also, Poland and Hungary form new eastern bloc ‘in bid to OVERTHROW Brussels‘ and professor Martin Goodwin claims President of European Commission ‘Junker is deeply worried’ Brussels is crumbling and EU is panicking.

And today’s Telegraph banner headline emblazoned across its wide front-page reads (tap/click for link), EU chiefs in expenses scandal.

The broadsheet’s inside double-page spread ‘How the EU tried to hide £500,000 bill for two months’ travel’ asks how much did each of the 28 Commissioners spend on travel? Deputy political editor Steve Swinford’s report opens by referring to an executive director of Access Info Europe’s attempt to show journalists from Eastern Europe and the Balkans about the availability of EU information,

‘When campaigners first asked the European Commission for details about the travel expense claims of the 28 commissioners in May 2014, they thought it would be a straightforward matter. “They told me (Helen Darbishire) they couldn’t give me the information because it was a question of privacy and cost. I was totally shocked”.

‘Three years and more than 190 requests for information later, the EU has finally relented and agreed to publish the data – two months worth from 2016…’

That’s just relating to travel over a short period – what about other expenses at other times? Also, it’s failed to produce properly audited accounts for far too many years – [PS: ‘the European Court of Auditors have refused to sign off the bloc’s accounts for over 20 years due to continued “material level of irregularity”!‘ – Asa Bennett.]

This new exposure is absolutely no surprise in view of the EU’s lack of accountability to the people it purports to represent – which is one reason why sensible Britons voted to get out!

I cannot but conclude this exposure is a part of the Lord’s judgement against the EU.

Prophetic visions of renewal for the Church in Britain

As with all prophetic words and visions this is for prayer and weighing with the Lord. It is brought by Yinka Oyekan, Senior Minister of The Gate church, Reading, courtesy of UK Prophetic Words:

PROPHETIC VISIONS FOR THE CHURCH

Extraordinary dream and Prophetic vision this morning 5th August:

Last night I had the most amazing dream and it continued in a Prophetic vision this morning. “I love my children”, father said; “My heart breaks and longs for communion with every one of my children”.

I saw the new hunger and a great awakening in the church. And father said to me

“I have made my will clear; I have trumpeted my purposes, and I’m gathering my sons and daughters who will attend to the will of the chief shepherd before they attempt to attend to the needs of the sheep. Many are lost, broken without a shepherd; millions are desperately seeking me and deserving of me, oh that the bride would make herself ready. I have humbled my church and now I will rebuild her, and she will wear white garments, and be clothed with my glory.”

I saw small communities which seemed unimportant to man but were important to God and filled with glory and their pastors who had poured out their lives for the sake of these seemingly unimportant communities, father says,

“Your reward is coming; be patient; you were hidden but now your works will be revealed by God, you might be small but you have always been important to me.

“The prayers of many princes of the church have been received, I have seen their tears and cries for mercy, But some had their ears covered; they would not hear; they would not see; they would not repent”;

heaven reminds you that he is still in the business of removing lampstands; repent so that times of refreshing and healing may come from heaven.

I saw those who are standing in the outpouring receiving new graces of healing, of mercy, graces of deliverance and of the prophetic; so many graces been poured out and father says,

“Align yourself; position yourself; gather all the lame, the sick, the dispossessed, the aliens and I will fill that place with such a sense of liberty the nations will hear about it, for where my spirit is I bring freedom.”

I saw father fitting feet with golden shoes; I saw them running as fast as lightning. I woke up this morning from an extraordinary dream in which father said he’s renewing the church and then laid out before me these extraordinary visions; my mind was racing with images that were so profound; I spent the last two hours in prayer for our church for our leadership teams; I encourage you to do the same for yours; it’s time to seek the face of God afresh.

Greater London – An Awakening of Fire

Thank you to Suzanne Payne at UK Prophetic Words for transcribing this powerful word brought on 28 July by Emma Stark of Glasgow Prophetic Centre to Capstone Church in Ilford, Essex, east of London:

THIS REVIVAL WILL BE MARKED IN THE HISTORY BOOKS AS ‘THE AWAKENING OF FIRE’

Halfway into a prophetic word for this church (watch video), Emma brings this from the Lord about the next move of the Spirit He is about to release into the earth:

“There were moves that I sent to the earth that were about fathering.

“Then there were moves that I sent to the earth that were about the Spirit and about signs and wonders.

“And there were moves that I sent to the earth that brought a revelation of Jesus.”

But the spirit of the Lord says this:

“I have not yet sent a move into the earth that reflects the fullness of all that I am; Father, Son and Spirit.’

And the Lord says,

“I am about to reflect the full dynamic and the full facets of My nature”, says God.

And the Lord says,

“You have got to be prepared to be uncomfortable, for the Lord says, It is all the greatness of My glory and My magisterial Kingly anointing that is going to visit in the midst.”

And the Lord says,

“This revival will be marked in the history books as ‘The Awakening of Fire’…”

Selah!

Note: Upon walking into the building Emma heard the Spirit of the Lord say Capstone Church is “on the edge of a gigantic whirlwind of the Presence of God…and that they’ve only skimmed the top of the circle of that whirlwind…”!!!

Chuck Missler (and RB) on the excitement of eschatology

First published as Not Many People Know This… the day after I’d launched this blog in November 2011, this item was repeated on the home page over subsequent years. It alerts followers and visitors to the acceleration in fulfillment of biblical prophecies, as shown in the closing links to some of those events:

As you may have gathered from my Welcome, I’m into eschatology – the theological study of the destiny and judgement of nations and all people, even angels!  You may know it as ‘The Last Days’ or, more popularly, as ‘End-Times’. The origin of this term is in the ancient Hebrew Torah’s description: Acharit Hayamin, ie. ‘Last of the Years’.

Let me take you for a very brief visit into one of my favourite classes where Dr Chuck Missler is asking his students, “Why Eschatology?”.:

“It is very practical”, he answers himself and explains:

“Apparently, we’re being plunged into a period of time about which the Holy Bible says more than any other period – including the time when Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee!

“Now that’s a preposterous statement – and I challenge you to challenge my statement! To do so you need to do two things:

1 – Find out what the Bible itself says about this and – this is a bit harder,

2 – Find out what’s really going on – but you won’t get that on the ten o’clock news!

“Fortunately, thanks to the internet, the alternative press and to talk-radio you can do some homework and find out what really is going on. The more you do those two things the more you’ll understand why many scholars are extremely excited about the horizon we’re moving into – because it all deals with the return of Christ to rule earth.

“It really is remarkable how controversial this topic is, but there are:

  • over 1800 references in the Old Testament to this event – 17 Old Testament books give prominence to the event.
  • over 300 references in the New Testament – 216 chapters in 23 of its 27 books give prominence to this primary issue: the return of Jesus to rule on earth.

“You may not believe what the Bible says, but what’s utterly astonishing is that so very many claim to believe in Jesus yet have no grasp of the idea Christ is to literally return and rule!”

I respect Chuck for frequently stressing that we shouldn’t take what he says as ‘Gospel’ but always do a ‘Berean check’ per Acts 17:11; that is, to search the scriptures to find out whether or not his ideas line up with them. Also, I admire his public apology for admitting that, having long taught about an anticipated Middle Eastern war from some scriptures, he’s gained a better understanding from other passages. IS THIS AN AWAKENING?

I consider this to be the most important email/post I have ever written.

I can hardly believe that the first stage of what I have been praying for for 20 years has finally arrived. I am so thankful to God for lighting a fire at Capstone Church, Ilford.

Here are two prophetic words within an hour –

What is happening there is a sacred move of God. In His wisdom He has lit the fire in an out of the way place in East London; in a small church made up mainly of people of Indian ethnicity.

I guess this might offend some people, as one might have expected God to move first in a nice church full of Anglo Saxons. However, God is wiser than we are! Rakesh and Preethy Kurian have experienced revival in India and they came to this nation for one reason and one reason only (two if you count God telling them) – Revival!

The Kurians are a wonderful couple, who are prepared to give everything they have (and they have done so in the past) for revival. They realise that there is a large cost for hosting a move of God – money (the one in San Diego costs £750,000 a year); exhaustion and a potentially a lot of criticism and opposition, but they have said ‘yes’ to God. I had been to this church many times before this move started 5 weeks ago. It was and is a church full of love. The people to a man (or woman), were and are hungry and passionate for God. I have not seen that amount of love and passion anywhere before. In addition the worship always brings in the presence of God. Capstone might be difficult to get to, but I understand exactly why God has chosen this church to reside in.

God has done His bit, but whether or not it develops into what this nation desperately needs – an awakening – is up to us. It is up to us to visit and receive what is on offer and then return home to start another fire. It is up to us to go out into the streets to release His glory and bring people to Christ. It is up to us to help pray for this move of God.

So why is it that relatively few people have visited Capstone in the last 5 weeks to drink the new wine?

– ‘busyness’ is the main reason I have heard. May I suggest that this is a season to cancel things to enable us to get to these meetings. We have been waiting 20+ years for something like this; are we going to be so busy that we have no time for the new wine of God?

– ‘too difficult to get to’ comes a close second. As I mentioned above, it is God who chose this out of the way place. Some people have come from Glasgow, Sheffield, Macclesfield and Leeds, and one person travels 600 miles per week to get to the meetings.

– some people are watching online. This is absolutely great; I understand 3,000+ are watching each night from all around the world. Definitely, one receives that way, but there is nothing like going to the well.

– some are happy doing what they do for God and do not need any more. Might I suggest that many people are doing good things for God, but not the best. I believe that this is a new season and it is a time for many to leave the old wine skin behind and taking up the new. May I suggest it is a time for laying our ministries on the altar and saying to God, do you still want me to carry on with this or have you something new for me?

The only way we are going to get our nation out of this awful place is to bring people to the Lord. This move of God is about Presence, Presence, Presence. If we carry His presence wherever we go; few will be able to resist Him. We have the opportunity to go to these meetings to be filled up so we can then take it to the streets and release it. Please, please do not let this outpouring pass you by. It may be gone in a day, a week, a year; we do not know.

During the 1994 outpouring plane-loads of people went over to Toronto to receive and then release it in the UK. However, the people of Toronto hardly went to the meetings. Please don’t let that happen here in London or in the UK. God is offering us something; I urge you to receive it and then change our nation.

Continuing from #1 – for ease of reference, the prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day (of the Lord) will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

Re-reading that scripture upon learning of July’s Sex-Synod shenanigans something struck me from each its verses, namely:

  1. the CofE is in full-blown apostasy and thus will get at best a full-blown shaking down or, at worst, a deepening schism between orthodox and permissive clergy!
  2. someone will soon be on the world scene and manifest the antichrist spirit as ‘the son of perdition’, but is satan using the current situation as a ‘trial-run’ of what’s foretold by using ‘unwitting’ secular leaders as its mouthpiece??

Important to note that I’m NOT saying those people are demonic or demon-possessed. Disciples of Christ are only too aware of the nature of the spiritual battle being waged worldwide for everyone’s spirit, souls and minds – it’s influencing almost every aspect of our lives. The not-yet saved are thereby highly vulnerable and susceptible to satanic deceptions and all too easily fall prey to the enemy of our souls. It wants nothing less than our destruction, spiritual enslavement and eventual incarceration in hell.

PARLIAMENTARY IMPLICATIONS

In tandem with the General Synod’s formal declaration on banning Conversion Therapy, we see humanistic notions of equality, diversity,  rights and sexuality permeating ‘progressive liberal’ goals. John Bercow, long-standing LGBT activist and the Speaker of the House Commons, addressed Pink News at a reception in Parliament. Although speaking in an unofficial capacity, in view of that Parliamentary position his opinion may be deemed as being an ‘ex-officio’ statement. Premier quotes him as saying,

“We are marking 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.

“There’s always a balance to be struck – we don’t want to behave as though it’s all over, that everything has been done. Nothing remains – because that isn’t true.

“I still feel that we can only really have equal marriage when you can b***** well get married in a church if you want to do so.”

‘When the law changed in 2013, churches were offered a protection that they wouldn’t be forced to host gay marriages in their building.” 

[Pink News reports: “‘I suppose in marriage terms there will only really be complete legal equality when it is permissible for a gay couple to marry as a matter of right in a church.” Referring to the Church of England’s clause, he added: “I always felt it was a pity when the same-sex marriage legislation went through that as a way of accommodating some of the church interests there was that compromise which detracted a little bit from the concept of complete equality”.’]

We stay on the current topic to:
  • expand upon previous posts on apostasy
  • consider its direct relevance to the UK Parliament
  • examine two End-times prophecies and their context
  • review how satanic strategy is engineering a work-around.

I humbly submit this material as an outcome of the prophecy spoken over me soon after launching this blog, as at the close of Why Write/blog?  This is only the second time I’ve referred to that specific gifting and I offer this 2-part post for weighing by my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ.:

THE DAY OF THE LORD

The issues are opened up in Synod Sides With satan – Risks Anglican Schism/Shaking and their import is outlined in re-published extract On The Great Apostasy & Deception; wherein I write about Apostle Paul’s letter informing the early church what’s destined to happen before The Day of The Lord and Jesus’ return to earth.

The prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

The Bible’s first reference to ‘The Day of The Lord’ was uttered circa 585 BC by prophet Obadiah in connection with the vengeance God would bring upon the Edomites in view of their hatred for their distant relatives and in aiding the Babylonian attack against them and desecrating Jerusalem and taking the Jewish people into captivity. This word of the Lord is soon fulfilled in Edom’s disappearance. Obadiah’s scroll is the shortest in the OT but its closing verses prophesy Israel’s final triumph in not only returning home but also in its eschatalogical significance for ‘the day of the Lord’; a season of divine justice and judgement of ALL nations around Israel, viz:

‘For the day of the LORD upon all nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. For as you drank on My holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually…and they shall be as though they had never existed.’ (Obadiah 15-16)

It’s important not to overlook the fact that in quoting Isaiah 61 as His ‘mission statement’ Jesus opened that synagogue scroll and quoted the first verse only, and then stopped (Luke 4:16-21). The Spirit of the Lord God was upon and anointed Him to preach the Good News, to heal the broken-hearted and bring release for those bound as though imprisoned. That was the purpose of His First Advent, but the subsequent verses allude to the anointing also continuing in His Second Advent, namely:

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God…”

ANGLICAN ‘SEX-SIN-NOD’

The above post offered my opinion that the apostate nature of July’s General Synod of the Church of England, especially the Archbishop of York’s actions, marked a tipping point of Anglican apostasy because of its authoritative role in that church’s legislative affairs. Rebels? In church? Just who’s rebelling??

My friend and author of The Pursuit of Pleasure and Feasting on the Father, Revd William Smith, emailed me today in response to my last post’s reference to Gavin Ashenden leading a group of ‘rebel Anglicans’. I have Bill’s kind permission to publish his reaction:

Dear Richard,

REBELS?

Grace, mercy and peace to you both in our Beloved Saviour and King.

Following on from yesterdays “Watch” with the Gavin Ashenden article, I believe we have the wrong emphasis on this. (ie. in Christian Today article).

Gavin, GAFCON, and the open letter to York, are in no way rebellious. These precious faithful ones are simply that, faithful ones.

The rebels are all those who have abandoned biblical teaching in favour of contemporary ideas and unrighteous ways. It is Lambeth Palace, the Synod (in general), the supporters of “Pride” etc, who have left the truth and are in rebellion against God and His revealed ways for human behaviour.

I have said this elsewhere and feel very strongly that we should be declaring this unashamedly and unapologetically.

The rebels are those who have turned from God, not those who are walking faithfully with Him.

There is a pressing need for Anglicanism, and much of the rest of ‘the church’ to be made aware of this. To recognise the truth of what I have here written and for there to be a turning in support of these faithful ones in rejection of the others. It is being portrayed wrongly making the “rebels” (the faithful) to be those destroying the so called unity of the church, while all the time they are upholding its faithful following of The Lord Jesus. (Rant over)

I do believe we urgently need to redress the prevailing attitude and see Truth restored, the bible honoured, celebrated and followed, rather than being shamed as divisive.

Much blessing and encouragement as this battle intensifies as biblical truth is so under threat from within.

On The Great Apostasy and Deception

This extract from a long piece blogged two years two weeks ago is reprinted as lead-in for the next post on how last week’s events in the Church of England and Parliament fulfill End-time prophecy of the soon return of Jesus Christ.

After writing about Humanism being the Forerunner of the Antichrist I looked at the spirit of Humanism’s offensive and its role in the Greece-EU crisis. A couple of letters to one of the first churches planted in Europe warn about its deceitful effects upon beliefs and values.:

EXTRACT from FUNDAMENTAL FLAW IN WESTERN SOCIETY…HUMANISM

APOSTASY and DECEPTION

The Book of Acts records that, whilst on a mission in Asia Minor, the apostle Paul was supernaturally called to visit Macedonia over in mainland Europe (Acts 16). In about 49 AD he arrived in the port of Philippi in northern Greece and planted a house church led by a business woman known as Lydia. From there he and his companion Silas went south to Salonika (Thessalonica), found the Jewish synagogue and preached there. A thriving church of devout Greeks and some Jews was established, but they helped Paul to escape from his violent opponents. Within a couple of years he wrote from Corinth two concise letters to those new believers to clarify points arising from his teaching.

One of those themes was upon the expected return of the Lord Jesus Christ and Paul’s second letter clarified the brief reference in the first, as follows (emphases added).

‘Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.’ (2 Thess 2 NKJV)

He proceeds at length to explain that the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ is already at work, but that someone who will be the very personification of evil will be revealed and come onto the world stage. Then the Lord will come from heaven and destroy him by the glory of His physical return to earth (2Thess 2:8)

Today – now – we’re well into that first stage, the ‘falling away’ from true faith in Jesus Christ, and which is also known as the ‘Great Apostasy’, as is so abundantly evident across the once-Christian Western world. (Eg. recent video clip on John Kilpatrick vision: ‘The United Apostates of America’.)  Paul proceeds,

‘The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.‘

This means that those who fall away from the fullness of faith as originally taught by the Apostles, will become so unrighteous in God’s sight that they will be wide open to being deceived by Satan and his agents. They bring a distortion and twisting of the Gospel to accommodate people’s preferences and desires instead of obeying God’s commands.

It is clear this deception is the consequential result of not loving the truth, who is the very Word of God in the person of Jesus Christ, and thus not desiring Him and the salvation He bought them by dying in their stead on the cross.

The next verse is extremely ominous. Paul explains that, because their attitude remains deliberately ungodly, the Almighty is not only allowing them to be strongly deceived but is sending an irresistible delusion, the consequences of which will condemn them:

‘And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.’

By way of a careful caveat we need to note that a number of believers too readily quote verse 9 about some people through whom miracles, signs and wonders are displayed. As in my recent post on the accuser of the brethren attacking prophecies such self-appointed inquisitors claim all such demonstrations are deception. But upon reading and understanding the chapter in its entirety (as here) we find their claims to be rather judgemental.

Verse 12 gives the game away! Only those who despise the truth of the Gospel will be misled and suffer the consequences.

Arrival of the ‘latter rain’

The latter rain is starting to fall. It will refresh you and give you clear vision and impact your lives. The best is yet to come. The dark long storm is over! The first will be last and the last first! If you bless others I will bless you.. Now go and reap the harvest!. Are you ready? Can you feel your heart burning for the lost? Time is short and the golden bowl that carries the latter rain is tipping over!

Also timely in having seen Sean MaNamara from Coleraine, a Spirit-led evangelist to ‘hard-core’ on housing estates (as here) locally last night who spoke on his calling and ministered to many youngsters with a calling for the lost. AND earlier that day the ‘cornerstone’ featured as the interpretation to a prophetic vision at Acorn service for healing – sooo praise you Lord for this word:

I had a dream last night where I saw a preacher standing at a pulpit preaching when all of a sudden a tsunami-like wave appeared and hit him taking both he and the pulpit he was standing at away. There was no evidence that he nor his pulpit were ever there after the wave struck.

What is amazing is that this preacher was in a building preaching when the wave struck which in the natural cannot happen.

A tsunami does not come without an earthquake, a shaking, if you will. After the quake a tsunami warning is issued just as in the case of Japan a few years back.

What I sensed is the preacher standing behind the pulpit was preaching false doctrine. Apparently he ignored the warnings, that the doctrine he was preaching was not of God, and was swept away. One thing I did note is that the…

Shakings and God’s Glory for Britain and America

UK & USA – SHAKINGS AND THE GLORY

I sense this is coming to UK AND USA simultaneously. The first wave of revival will be marked by shakings and the Glory of the Lord in our meetings.

Acts 4:31 – And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness’.

There is a new shaking coming. Everything that can be shaken is being shaken, but the Lord is sending a new shaking to encourage rather than a shaking to destroy and throw down. The Lord is sending an Acts 4:31 shaking that when the church prays, the buildings will shake and the people will be encouraged.

I have noticed minor tremors shaking our church and others have noticed similar occurrences in their own church. However, I believe, and I sense that the Lord is sending an unmistakable shaking that will be recognisable and specific to their church, but not to anything around the church.

“I am about to shake your buildings – literally shake them – that you may know that I am moving among you,” says the Lord. “I am about to do amazing things to encourage you; to give you a hunger for more of Me. Your buildings will shake and the sick will be healed. Your buildings will shake and demons will flee, screaming in fear. Your buildings will shake and your people will shout, ‘the Lord, He is God – the Lord, He is God!’ Then My glory will come and you will all know My presence!”

Watch for the Lord’s Spirit moving powerfully in Britain and America

My jaw dropped upon reading this of Veronika West in yesterday’s mail because it plugged into a dream I’d just had:

WATCH! FOR THE SPIRIT OF YAHWEH IS  MANIFESTING THROUGH FIRE, THROUGH WIND, THROUGH RAIN “FOR THIS IS THE SEASON OF DIVINE PURIFICATION, RESTORATION AND REVIVAL” says God….!

I have been in a place of hidden-ness for the last few weeks and in this scared time I have encountered the presence of Yeshua in the most unusual and unprecedented ways. A few days ago I was caught up in a powerful encounter with the Lord where I saw “1,000 FIRES” being ignited in 100 different Nations, then I saw the Spirit of Yeshua begin to move and manifest mightily upon the earth. He first came as a RAGING FIRE, then He came as a MIGHTY WHIRLWIND, then He came as an UNSTOPPABLE RUSHING RIVER bringing FORTH REVIVAL TO ALL FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.

Then I heard these words in the realm of the Spirit,

“Daughter of man, behold I will come as a RAGING FIRE to purify and cleanse, then I will come as a MIGHTY WHIRLWIND to gather what has been scattered and to restore what has been lost, watch! For then I shall come as a MIGHTY RUSHING RIVER to replenish the weary and to revive the dead. Daughter of man tell My people to make ready, to make room and to make way, for My spirit will manifest suddenly, quickly and severely upon the earth”.

RB footnote – A Dream:

The ‘MIGHTY RUSHING RIVER’ reference astonished me because I’d seen one and MORE just before waking up yesterday a few hours before reading the above. Along with our Christian friends we were aboard a gigantic, ship-like vessel that made huge waves as it ploughed forcefully into a beach – and then rammed into it again but more deeply. I saw the impact made the nearby coastal area change shape.

Next, immense gushing floods came down an adjacent river and out to sea. Upon my waking I thought images of Monday’s flash-flood in Cornwall had stayed in mind – BUT although similar shapes and colours were in my view high up on that huge vessel, that recorded event was tiny in comparison with the immensity of what then happened – all I can say to convey the effect is: I recalled footage of the tsunami that hit Japan but what was coming was devoid of the detritus that had carried along with its flow! I sensed the whole land was being swamped with an immense flood of clear water. Then I awoke!

Hours later we returned from a ministry period over lunch-time at church. With our tall vicar Valentine, Nina and I worshiped, celebrated communion, waited on the Lord and prayed for the area and community.

Holy ‘rain’ featured for each of us in connection with the last item. During a quiet time I asked the Lord for more on that raging flood in my dream. Next, I heard Val quietly ask for something and so checked what he’d said, “Did you say ‘Open the floodgates of heaven’ Lord?“ I asked. “Yes!”  So amen to that, and I hadn’t yet told either of them about the dream; which I then did. But I knew he spoke into and unwittingly declared and released what happened in my dream!

In my dream I ‘sensed’ clear water was coming over the whole land behind a dirty flood. This afternoon I understood it signifies the land and people of Britain are parched dry by decades-long spiritual drought and are badly in need of rejuvenating spiritual water.

The dream-sequence may mean demonic and immoral filth that society’s wallowing in is first going to get washed away before an invisible deluge of the Lord’s holy living waters brings times of refreshing.
