The Fear of the Lord #2 – God will separate Holy from unholy and the Church in UK will shine

Thank and praise the Lord for this rapid answer to my concerns and prayers relating to perversion and witchcraft in the church, eg. as covered in Voice For Justice’s Petition – have you too signed yet?

GOD WILL SEPARATE THE HOLY FROM THE UNHOLY AND THE CHURCH WILL SHINE WITH A NEW LIGHT AND PASSION

The days are coming when God will separate again black from white, and sweet from salty. And He will not tolerate the grey or bluish anymore.

“Because I am Holy I will separate again the darkness from the light as I did in the Beginning. Yes I will do it again in the hearts of My People and they will shine again in this nation.

“The enemy tried to mix the colours to make grey; he tried to destroy the borders between My holy people, My church, and the standards of this world. But he will not succeed. My Word will not come back to Me without fulfilling My will. My light overcomes the darkness and always will.

“I will raise the standards in My people and I will give them a new passion for, and understanding of My Holiness. And My Glory will start to be tangible again in this nation. I will put the borders between holiness and unholiness. I will draw the line between righteousness and unrighteousness. I will separate my holy people from the depravity of this world and will burn their hearts with fire.

“I will marry again My Truth and My Love in the hearts of My people. And they will be delivered from the deception of sin, from the perversion and the corruption of the spirit working in this world. I will make them brave again to live in Love and Truth without shame or fear.”

Then God showed me that He will expose the false love of this world which tries to copy His love; but it can’t because showing and talking love without Truth is hypocrisy/fake, and showing and talking the Truth without love is vain/lying. Both lead to deception.

“My true Love and My true Truth are One,” says the Lord. “United; they Walk together and are Connected together.

“No one can separate them because no one can separate Me. I Am the Truth and I Am the Love. No one can separate Me nor split Me. I will lift up the robe of the great harlot to expose her lies. I will lift the veil which covers the eyes and hearts of My people in this nation and I will free them from her perversion.

“My Church will shine again with a new light and passion, and My Glory will fill again the temples of this nation and everyone will see the Power of My Kingdom. Yes! I will restore the Power of Kingdom and Authenticity of My Truth and Love and I will again separate the Holy from the unholy. And there will be no doubt about it,” says the Lord.

Coalition For Marriage reports Places of Worship Say ‘No’ to Same-Sex Marriage – ‘In a speech in Moscow the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has said that “same-sex marriage, or as it is called in law Equal marriage” was seen by “70-90% of people” in the UK as “acceptable and unchallengeable.”

‘This is not true. The most recent British Social Attitudes report found that less than two thirds of the general public say that same-sex relationships are “not wrong at all” and only 55% of Anglicans. The most recent ComRes poll for the BBC on the issue found that in 2014 one in five Britons (22%) would refuse to attend a same-sex wedding if invited….’

The Fear of the Lord #1 – Sword of the Spirit’s Separation Time

Further to my thoughts and prayers over the grave issue of the censorship Petition and the Lord’s desiring us to ask for “the revival of the holy, reverential fear of God”, as well as my having experienced that as a foretaste of His return, we consider a few prophetic words of direct relevance to this vital topic; the first of which was received when I posted Emma Stark’s video on deep disarray in the devil’s domain.:

THE DOUBLE-EDGED TIP OF THE SWORD – A TIME OF SEPARATION

‘A few weeks ago during our regular prayer meeting on a Tuesday night at Hastings 24-7 Prayer, I saw (with my spiritual eyes) the tip of a double-edged sword, and it was moving forward slowly, very sharp, cutting and separating as it moved. The scripture that came to mind was Hebrews 4:12 – ‘For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.’

‘This is a very critical point in time where God, by the power of His living and active Spirit-Word which proceeds from His mouth (and which we are to echo!), is beginning to cut through the body of Christ, making a separation between those believers that are soul-led, and those that are Spirit-led.

‘I felt that the two edges of the tip of the sword represented the true ministry of the apostolic and prophetic, and that the prophetic was twinned with the pure, undiluted truth of God, and the apostolic was twinned with the love of God to implement the prophetic expression of the desire of God for His people, Jesus’ bride-to-be.

‘As this word stayed with me over the last weeks and as I kept pondering it, I saw that the sword tip also symbolised the alpha, and the handle of the sword the omega of God, and that the moving-forward and completion of this process of separation through His (S)word would accomplish from beginning to end the full revealing of His will and nature in the earth.

‘As our society is rocked by many political issues, and as and our standards and values are polluted more and more by the influx of immorality, the calling into question of the very nature and identity of humanity in the image of God (sexual expression without borders, LGBT, abortion, euthanasia) along with the uprooting of the eternal principles of the Word of God, the Body of Christ is heavily influenced by this move, and many individual Christians, church groups and even whole denominations are pulled into darkness.

‘This is an urgent call from the Lord to His people to make a choice now as His double-edged (S)word moves forward. The fence is no longer a safe place. Lukewarmness will no longer be comfortable or sustainable. Those who choose to remain in the grey zone will be cut off, separated from the holy Kingdom of Light. The Lord is not doing this out of anger but out of the purity of His love: “He sent out his word and healed them, he rescued them from the grave.” Psalm 107:20. This process is meant to completely separate us from everything that is death so we can be fully filled with His eternal life!

‘As this process continues, let us search ourselves and pray for ourselves first, so God will find us as people who are led by His Spirit, faithful to His Word, fully standing in His Light. We are not to point fingers at other Christians or churches or denominations in this process as the Lord begins with us first! But let us also pray for the body of Christ, for people to choose well at this critical time, and not to be drawn into darkness with the rest of the world.

‘For those who do not want to choose, the relentless pull of darkness will be too strong to resist; they will not have the Holy Spirit-infused power to stand as they have depended on their soulish desires and prompts for too long. May God have great mercy on those who are undecided as the time to choose is becoming very short now.

  • Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
  • Ezekiel 34:17 “As for you, My flock,” thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats.”
  • Matthew 13:49 “So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous…”
  • James 4:4 ‘You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.’
  • Romans 8:7 ‘…because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s Law, nor can it do so.’
  • 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Come out from them and be separate”, says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
  • Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
  • Romans 13:12 ‘The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.’
  • Isaiah 35:8 ‘And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.’
  • 1 Peter 1:16 ‘For it is written, You must be holy, because I am holy.’
  • Romans 8:14 ‘For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.’
  • 2 Corinthians 11:2 ‘For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband–Christ.’

Petition for censure and removal of provost Kelvin Holdsworth for calling for SSM prayer

Here’s the most spiritually and morally offensive issue that I’ve ever come across – it’s tantamount to telling Christians to practise witchcraft!! 

Voice for Justice UK are calling upon Christians and others to petition the Archbishop of Canterbury, and I strongly urge and encourage you to join me in signing:

‘Voice for Justice has issued the following request to petition for the immediate censure and removal from office of ‘Very Rev’ Kelvin Holdsworth, Senior Anglican Minister Kelvin Holdsworth, homosexual Provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. He calls for Christians to pray for Prince George to be gay, in order to force the Church of England to support same-sex marriage.

‘He reportedly said that if the future monarch and supreme head of the Church of England was himself gay, and wanted a same-sex marriage, ‘it would be the fastest way to force the Church of England to allow gay people to wed’ (click Independent for report).

‘Under pressure from secular and LGBT activists, the modern cultural climate already draws no distinction between heterosexual and homosexual orientation. But, while affirming the right to freedom of choice for all, we respectfully point out that the Bible, on which the Church is founded, is clear in prohibiting all forms of homosexuality as a sin.

‘The message of the Bible is, and always has been, clear: God unreservedly loves the sinner, but hates sin.

‘The approval and normalization of what in the Bible is branded sin is, therefore, a betrayal of faith. More disturbingly, imploring people to pray along the lines advocated by Provost Holdsworth, calling for an individual to embrace a life of sin, amounts to a curse.

‘Condemnation of sin, while unreservedly loving the sinner, is at the heart of the Christian Gospel, and the reason why Christ was crucified – taking upon himself our sin in order to free us from the hold of the devil (eternal death) and restore us to right relationship with God (eternal Life). At no point did Christ say that sin did not matter.

‘All of us are sinners, and all of us stand in need of the grace of God, made available in Christ. Attempting to rewrite the Bible, or rebrand ‘sin’ as good serves only to lock the sinner into a destructive pattern of behaviour that by definition cannot bring happiness and that separates the individual from God, leading to eternal death.

‘We call for the Church of England to reaffirm its adherence to traditional Christian doctrine, as set down in the Bible, and for the immediate removal from office of Provost Holdsworth.

Wake up Welby! Reform may be on the way…

Oh that the angelic ‘Reformer’ referred to in the previous post would quickly come and strike some spiritual sense into the Church of England’s entire leadership!

As expected, Dr Adrian Hilton, known under the pseudonym of 16th Century reformer ‘Archbishop Cranmer’, responds to the weekend television’s Robert Peston interview in Welby: “I really, genuinely do not understand” Christian support for Trump.:

‘The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was interviewed by Robert Peston on Sunday. He spoke about the British economic model, economic justice, investment, skills, apprenticeships, automation, robotics, AI, equality for all, food-banks, housing, Brexit, Northern Ireland, trade, unionist identity, the Good Friday Agreement, public enemies, and media headlines which stir up hate and division.

‘Before you kick him, he also spoke about Jesus’s command to care for and love the poor, the judgment of the Old Testament prophets, the need to build communities by loving one another, and the imperative of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.

‘So far, so good.

‘Then Peston mused about the “amazing support” which Donald Trump has from Christians in America. “Do you understand why fundamentalist Christians in America are so supportive of Donald Trump?” he asked the beaming Archbishop.

‘Rabbit…. headlights…

“There’s two things going through my mind,” Welby cogitated. “Do I say what I think, or do I say what I should say? And I’m going to say what I think.”

‘Marvellous, thought the ‘Peston on Sunday’ producers, as they contemplated the imminent Twitter storm and media furore.

‘Marvellous, thought Christians everywhere: the transparency, integrity, honesty of the man. What a breath of fresh air.

‘And then it comes: “No, I don’t understand it. I really, genuinely, do not understand where that is coming from,” said the Archbishop, speaking exactly as he thought.

‘There was a bit of rambling before Peston reprised: “But the fundamental point is that you don’t understand why the fundamentalist Christians in America seem to regard him as being the answer.”

‘The Archbishop raised his hands, more in bemusement than blessing. “No,” he said, “But then… I mean, you look… you look at the situation… maybe they felt… I don’t know… I just have… I don’t understand it, is the simple answer.”

‘But the odd thing is he went on to provide an answer in the very minute following. Peston asked the Archbishop: “How important is truth in politics?”

My deep desire is to avoid divisiveness and so, for other than indirect references in my coverage of the apostasy of the Anglican Synod last July, I’ve refrained from blogging about this brother-in-Christ’s personal frailties. Secular and Christian media have covered those all-too-spectacular issues of Welby’s acceptance of SSM as well as remarks on transgender issues in schoolchildren – not to mention the consequential surrender to parental censorship of Christian teaching in C of E schools (as here)!!

However, in his ignorance of a matter important to Christians over ‘the Pond’, some of whom are regular readers this blog, and because of my frequent coverage of our spiritual linkage then it’s incumbent on me to comment on this issue. So, by way of informing readers of ‘Cranmer’ I submitted this on Justin Welby’s bewilderment over American Christians and president Trump.

‘DOH!’ – my reaction to his comment; or maybe that should have been Justin’s response rather than utter befuddlement! It wasn’t surprising in view of his inability under interrogation to refer to basic Biblical teaching on sexuality, or on childhood gender confusion.

‘I’m not standing in judgement of either brother-in-Christ – one a British AofC, the other an American ‘sanctification-work in progress’ but appointed by God for ‘such a time of this’. In keeping an eye on the spiritual ‘Bridge o’er Pond’ I’m simply offering an explanation of Justin Welby’s lack of knowledge and understanding.:

‘As oft-said herein, very few in the Anglican hierarchy know the mind of our Father or they’d appreciate prophecy; not only what the Bible foretells about today but also as brought by modern-day prophets. Hence, the cluelessness about Brexit and Trump! Moreover, in allowing the CofE’s move into apostasy, it’s no wonder Justin cannot think like our American brethren do – especially in their adherence to basic Biblical belief, repudiation of Replacement Theology and their consequential, associated support for the state Israel.

‘As one example, I cite the panic Reuter’s film crew experienced in Detroit on 4 Sept 2016 after Trump not only received a standing ovation at a black church and praise from its Afro-American bishop, but also was given and wore(!) a tallit (Hebrew prayer shawl), a Jewish Bible and offered his prayers – the crew were told to cut the feed!!! ‘Trump’s personal appreciation of Israel and energetic emphasis upon returning the US to the role of ally unquestionably plays a HUGE part in wide Christian support for this radical president.’

(I later point out that Trump and his diplomatic team may come unstuck if they wish to continue previous administrations’ mistakes of encouraging division of the ‘holy land’ – William Koenig covers this in-depth in his weekly bulletins from the White House.)

Fellow Cranmer readers offered other sound reasons for Christians supporting Donald Trump as president of the USA.

We need to pray for Archbishop Justin Welby…and for the reformation indicated in Dr Theresa Phillips’ vision!

On the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, with Martin Luther nailing the 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church, Anglicans nailed (or tacked) a similar protesting document to the doors of five Church of England cathedrals. Leaders in the movement told PJ Media they intend to push the Church of England back to the Bible and against a “secular” form of “soft socialism.”

“These postings of the Southwark Declaration represent a grassroots protest amongst both the orthodox laity and the clergy against the complacent selling-out of the Church of England to the current secular zeitgeist in the name of progressive Christianity,” Gavin Ashenden, a missionary bishop to England who rejected his ordination in the Church of England (and his position as special bishop to Queen Elizabeth II) this year, told PJ Media.

Having resigned from ministry in the Anglican communion Gavin’s incisive analysis cuts close to the ‘bone’. There are at least two ways of doing theology; one primarily as a rational and intellectual act, and one by discernment of the Spirit.

Our Enlightenment traditions are very comfortable with the first, but Churches that look to the Holy Spirit rather than the nous or the human mind, need to be able to exercise the gift of the Holy Spirit called in the New Testament, ‘discernment.’

Denouncing your neighbour for a ‘thought-crime’ was a favourite past time in the old Soviet Union. The problem for anyone accused of having the ‘wrong thoughts’ is that it’s impossible to defend yourself.

Well the practice is back. ‘Hate crime’ is the new thought crime. If someone else’s views makes you feel uncomfortable, all you need to do is to accuse them of either ‘hate’ or, if you prefer, ‘extremism’, or best of all, both.

The latest seed bed of hate-filled extremism has been lurking undiscovered for the last 16 years in a Primary School, in Tunbridge Wells.

With psychological and social consequences that surely defy imagination, a generation of children have been infected by ‘hate’ at the hands of an extremist organisation masquerading as a Christian charity.

Update on removal of CrossTeach team from Anglican school

Further to my two posts on the headteacher of St John’s C of E Primary School in Royal Tunbridge Wells severing its ties with CrossTeach, James Church brings informative and thus valuable background to the discussions on Cranmer’s post.:

First, he writes: ‘This most distressing as a church that has hosted CrossTeach’s Easter Experience and as a CrossTeach volunteer I can testify to how sensitively it is led, to the dedication of the volunteers and the creativity of the program as a whole. It is most disheartening to see Wayne and others labelled as extremists and the important work they are doing trashed mainly though ignorance combined with cowardice.’

Later he adds: ‘After a conversation tonight with our CrossTeach team locally, I have discovered a number of things, 1. they have every sympathy with the Headteacher who they feel has been put in an extremely difficult position, 2. there is a lot of false information about what was or is being objected to, 3. at the root of the problem is one particular parent who largely objected to a lesson in which their child was told that heaven would be better than the best things on earth, 4. other parents have been rallied to the cause with often misleading information. It has been rumbling on for some time with the team often being misquoted or quoted out of context. In all lessons two representatives of the team are there along with a teacher.’

I responded,

‘Very helpful and thank you James, yet those ‘figures’ don’t quite add up. In view of the publicity and uproar it would be appreciated if the Head explains his actual grounds for capitulation.’

The Telegraph quotes headteacher Dan Turvey as saying “I do not believe CrossTeach has done anything wrong,” he said. “They do not deserve the tarnishing of their good name and allegations of extremism that have taken place over the last few months.”

So why couldn’t Dan ‘man-up’, perhaps because he’s not a real, practising Christian?

William Booth’s prophecy of today’s dangerous apostasy

The First General of the Salvation Army, William Booth (1829-1912), is often quoted as shown above on foretelling changes in the approaching Twentieth century that could take place within churches.

His words are very accurate in prophesying global, liberal changes for the 21st Century Church, as reported in my recent posts. For more about this read Dr Joe Vankoevering’s brief article entitled 100 Year-Old Vision Coveys Sobering Warning to the Church.:

“I try to stay focused on what’s happening in the world as it relates to Bible prophecy—part of my assignment from God. And what’s occurring in the world today all points to the approaching return of Jesus Christ. However, another important part of my assignment is to deal with what God is saying as a warning to His church….”

Clarifying rebuttal from Cranmer of headline re Anglican headteacher

This updates Anglican headteacher surrenders to parental unbelief in view of a question over the accuracy of the linked post’s title.

The first comment shown at the foot of the discussion thread on Cranmer’s Church of England school headteacher brands Crossteach educational charity ‘extremist’ objected to that headline’s wording (emphases added).

‘Layreader’ writes:

‘All good accurate stuff, apart from the headline. Dan Turvey, while he has made the wrong decision here, was quite happy with the involvement of CrossTeach in his school. And so the 95% of parents who send their child to a C of E school just so they are properly educated are trounced by the 5% who have no idea why they sent their child there.
‘It’s a parable, if you want one, for the way that all politics works in our liberal ‘democracy’. If only a small number of people can make a large enough noise, then decision-makers, schooled in the principles of management rather than the principles of integrity, will always cave in for a quiet life.
‘This is Marxism as it is currently practised. And, in Tunbridge Wells, to boot…’

Abp Cranmer rebutts:

‘No, the headline is entirely accurate: Dan Turvey did indeed write to parents that he was happy with Crossteach, but then proceeded to ban the group from taking assemblies and RE lessons, thereby tarnishing their good name with the whiff of extremism. He should have told the zealous parents that they are lawfully entitled to withdraw their children from the Daily Act of Collective Worship and RE lessons, and made alternative arrangements. What he should not have done was to impugn Crossteach and humiliate them before the world.’

Anglican headteacher surrenders to parental unbelief

Politico-religious blogger Adrian Hilton’s latest covers news about the headteacher who prefers giving in to demands from parents, doubtless atheist, rather than standing up for Christ and the teaching of His disciples!  Apostasy in action!

In Church of England school headteacher brands Crossteach educational charity ‘extremist’ Cranmer examines and comments upon events:

‘..a group of parents at St John’s Church of England Primary School weren’t happy with Christians coming in and talking about sin and Jesus and judgment and men and women getting married – you know, some of that basic Christian stuff which (headteacher) Dan Turvey says is at the heart of all they do because their Christian ethos is very strong. These parents objected to such “extremist beliefs”, and say Crossteach had been “upsetting children with a fundamentalist approach”.

Headteacher Dan Turvey capitulates in writing to parents,

“After careful consideration I have decided that we will end our regular commitment to CrossTeach and that they will no longer lead assemblies or take lessons, I have taken this action as I hope to bring an end this campaign and allow us to move on.”

The Lord says, “The season of preparation is almost gone. The season of ploughing and planting is almost gone. The season of seeding is almost gone. The season of reaping, of harvest, of gathering in is almost upon you. But first,” says the Lord, “There is a short season of sharpening and pruning! It is time for Me to prepare My sickle to cut out the good wheat from the bad wheat. For My axe to cut the roots of the non-productive trees – those that have blossomed for years, giving every appearance of fruit, but bearing nothing! After that,” says God, “I will open My barns for the harvest to be brought in. 

“Did I not tell you that I would start by pruning all the dead wood? Did I not warn you that the dead wood will be thrown on the fire? You have talked about this for years. You have spoken My Word many times. Why are you shocked when I tell you that I meant every word I spoke to My servants the prophets?

“The season of ease, the season of lukewarm, the season of unpreparedness is over! Let the season of sharpening, of pruning, of shedding the dead wood begin!” says the Lord God Almighty.

A VISION REGARDING THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND

This is not a word I give lightly; we need to pray!!

At Capstone Church last night the Lord took me into a vision.

I saw in front of me a beautiful old English oak tree; its trunk was wide and its roots spread all over the nations.

As I looked, I could see the branches of one side of this tree reached up to the sky.

But on the other side, I saw a large old branch; it was old and thick but I could see it was bending towards the ground. Then I saw that many brambles were reaching up from the ground and pulling it down. This continued for some time until I heard an almighty crack!

I then looked and saw this beautiful old oak had been split in half; the old branch was now fully on the ground and, quickly, bramble grew round the branch. As this happened the branch grew black and died, yet because of all the bramble it looked like it had many leaves. But it was not the tree branch that lived, it was the brambles and thorns that did.

As a looked, I saw the other half of this old tree struggled to live for a short time, but then out of the break, new fresh branches began to grow, with fresh new leaves.

I asked the Lord the meaning of the vision. He said:

“The tree you see is the Church of England. It has spread and flourished across the earth and many of its branches reach up to me.

“The old branch you saw is a branch that has become more and more entangled with this world and its fallen and perverted ways; in its desire to reach out and be understood, it has become compromised and entangled and pulled down. This will continue until there is a fracture; at this point a whole section of the church will fully fall away into the world. On the surface it will appear to be alive, but its life will be death.

“What’s left will be shaken and for a short time it will struggle to live, but then out of the break new life shall come forth.”

  • These words are in line with subsequent developments (as in yesterday’s reblog and elsewhere known to me) since my musing upon the schismatic effect of July’s synod in the Church of England.
  • How does Simon’s vision relate to the word received at the Ffald-y-Brenin retreat centre in 2014 about the Lord calling the CofE out of Lazarus grave?  That Gospel story involves the removal of cloth-strips associated with death, and is thus similar to this vision of a decaying, dead branch that will fall off the revived body.

Bishop Ashenden is charged with the responsibility of working as closely and collaboratively as possible with those Anglicans who are committed to remaining faithful to orthodox Christianity. In particular with the Free Church of England and the ‘Unity Forum’ that has been created to achieve that unity of purpose and action in the UK.

I’ve just come back from Russia. The last time I was there – 35 years ago – was when I became a Bible smuggler, and got caught by the KGB.
Two KGB majors ran the interrogation. They threatened to have me tried as a bullion smuggler (I’d failed to declare that a gold ring I was wearing was imported bullion). When I was found guilty, the sentence would be 20 years in the labour camp in Siberia, they said. In exchange for not prosecuting, they wanted the names of the contacts I was taking the Bibles to.
I survived the questioning, they didn’t get the names and I lived to tell the tale.
But why did I (and others) smuggle Bibles?

Fulfilled prophecies #10 & #13: a 6th time! – corruption in and fall of the EU

It’s time to remind ourselves of a couple of prophetic words of the many on the EU and Brexit and realise they continue to show the Lord’s hand at work in their fulfillment.

First, the awesome warning David Noakes delivered in November 2015 urging us to leave the EU (see UK/EU in/out #4). I’ve emphasised the more pertinent phrases:

“Nation of Britain, I have loved you with a love which has not ceased, despite the state of apostasy and degradation into which you have fallen. My anger towards those church leaders who have taught false things in my Name, and encouraged others to believe and act as they do, is intense and my judgment upon them will be severe. Yet I have compassion upon those who have been like sheep without godly shepherds; and my heart still longs to exercise mercy upon a nation whose forefathers upheld my Name and took my Word to the ends of the earth; a nation whose belief in the truth of my Word framed godly laws and inspired a culture of uprightness.

“Rather than rely on Me and my faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied my Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of me and its hardness of heart towards my ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore my hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

“Hear Me, O once godly nation and respond to my call, or you also will come to ruin in that same judgment of destruction. This is not my will for you, but you must choose the course which you will take. I urge you to respond to Me and choose life under my hand of discipline and protection, rather than death in the disaster which is even now coming upon Europe.”

Then in May 2016 in mulling over events I asked Is The Lord Exposing Rotten Politics? First UK, then USA – next EU??  It proved to be a ‘semi-conscious’ prophecy.

Both words quickly came into play, as in Fulfilled Prophecies #13 and #10 respectively – and more soon manifested (here, here and here). We now have yet another fulfillment – the 6th!!

Readers interested in Brexit may have kept abreast of developments regularly reported on Jonathan Ely’s excellent Facebook resource, Why Leave EU? There you’ll have noticed Poland’s objections to EU judicial reforms (Tusk threatens to kick Poland out of EU) and that Spain closes its border with Africa because the EU’s failure to stem the mass influx of migrants.  Also, Poland and Hungary form new eastern bloc ‘in bid to OVERTHROW Brussels‘ and professor Martin Goodwin claims President of European Commission ‘Junker is deeply worried’ Brussels is crumbling and EU is panicking.

And today’s Telegraph banner headline emblazoned across its wide front-page reads (tap/click for link), EU chiefs in expenses scandal.

The broadsheet’s inside double-page spread ‘How the EU tried to hide £500,000 bill for two months’ travel’ asks how much did each of the 28 Commissioners spend on travel? Deputy political editor Steve Swinford’s report opens by referring to an executive director of Access Info Europe’s attempt to show journalists from Eastern Europe and the Balkans about the availability of EU information,

‘When campaigners first asked the European Commission for details about the travel expense claims of the 28 commissioners in May 2014, they thought it would be a straightforward matter. “They told me (Helen Darbishire) they couldn’t give me the information because it was a question of privacy and cost. I was totally shocked”.

‘Three years and more than 190 requests for information later, the EU has finally relented and agreed to publish the data – two months worth from 2016…’

That’s just relating to travel over a short period – what about other expenses at other times? Also, it’s failed to produce properly audited accounts for far too many years – [PS: ‘the European Court of Auditors have refused to sign off the bloc’s accounts for over 20 years due to continued “material level of irregularity”!‘ – Asa Bennett.]

This new exposure is absolutely no surprise in view of the EU’s lack of accountability to the people it purports to represent – which is one reason why sensible Britons voted to get out!

I cannot but conclude this exposure is a part of the Lord’s judgement against the EU.

Continuing from #1 – for ease of reference, the prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day (of the Lord) will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

Re-reading that scripture upon learning of July’s Sex-Synod shenanigans something struck me from each its verses, namely:

  1. the CofE is in full-blown apostasy and thus will get at best a full-blown shaking down or, at worst, a deepening schism between orthodox and permissive clergy!
  2. someone will soon be on the world scene and manifest the antichrist spirit as ‘the son of perdition’, but is satan using the current situation as a ‘trial-run’ of what’s foretold by using ‘unwitting’ secular leaders as its mouthpiece??

Important to note that I’m NOT saying those people are demonic or demon-possessed. Disciples of Christ are only too aware of the nature of the spiritual battle being waged worldwide for everyone’s spirit, souls and minds – it’s influencing almost every aspect of our lives. The not-yet saved are thereby highly vulnerable and susceptible to satanic deceptions and all too easily fall prey to the enemy of our souls. It wants nothing less than our destruction, spiritual enslavement and eventual incarceration in hell.

PARLIAMENTARY IMPLICATIONS

In tandem with the General Synod’s formal declaration on banning Conversion Therapy, we see humanistic notions of equality, diversity,  rights and sexuality permeating ‘progressive liberal’ goals. John Bercow, long-standing LGBT activist and the Speaker of the House Commons, addressed Pink News at a reception in Parliament. Although speaking in an unofficial capacity, in view of that Parliamentary position his opinion may be deemed as being an ‘ex-officio’ statement. Premier quotes him as saying,

“We are marking 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.

“There’s always a balance to be struck – we don’t want to behave as though it’s all over, that everything has been done. Nothing remains – because that isn’t true.

“I still feel that we can only really have equal marriage when you can b***** well get married in a church if you want to do so.”

‘When the law changed in 2013, churches were offered a protection that they wouldn’t be forced to host gay marriages in their building.” 

[Pink News reports: “‘I suppose in marriage terms there will only really be complete legal equality when it is permissible for a gay couple to marry as a matter of right in a church.” Referring to the Church of England’s clause, he added: “I always felt it was a pity when the same-sex marriage legislation went through that as a way of accommodating some of the church interests there was that compromise which detracted a little bit from the concept of complete equality”.’]

We stay on the current topic to:
  • expand upon previous posts on apostasy
  • consider its direct relevance to the UK Parliament
  • examine two End-times prophecies and their context
  • review how satanic strategy is engineering a work-around.

I humbly submit this material as an outcome of the prophecy spoken over me soon after launching this blog, as at the close of Why Write/blog?  This is only the second time I’ve referred to that specific gifting and I offer this 2-part post for weighing by my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ.:

THE DAY OF THE LORD

The issues are opened up in Synod Sides With satan – Risks Anglican Schism/Shaking and their import is outlined in re-published extract On The Great Apostasy & Deception; wherein I write about Apostle Paul’s letter informing the early church what’s destined to happen before The Day of The Lord and Jesus’ return to earth.

The prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

The Bible’s first reference to ‘The Day of The Lord’ was uttered circa 585 BC by prophet Obadiah in connection with the vengeance God would bring upon the Edomites in view of their hatred for their distant relatives and in aiding the Babylonian attack against them and desecrating Jerusalem and taking the Jewish people into captivity. This word of the Lord is soon fulfilled in Edom’s disappearance. Obadiah’s scroll is the shortest in the OT but its closing verses prophesy Israel’s final triumph in not only returning home but also in its eschatalogical significance for ‘the day of the Lord’; a season of divine justice and judgement of ALL nations around Israel, viz:

‘For the day of the LORD upon all nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. For as you drank on My holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually…and they shall be as though they had never existed.’ (Obadiah 15-16)

It’s important not to overlook the fact that in quoting Isaiah 61 as His ‘mission statement’ Jesus opened that synagogue scroll and quoted the first verse only, and then stopped (Luke 4:16-21). The Spirit of the Lord God was upon and anointed Him to preach the Good News, to heal the broken-hearted and bring release for those bound as though imprisoned. That was the purpose of His First Advent, but the subsequent verses allude to the anointing also continuing in His Second Advent, namely:

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God…”

ANGLICAN ‘SEX-SIN-NOD’

The above post offered my opinion that the apostate nature of July’s General Synod of the Church of England, especially the Archbishop of York’s actions, marked a tipping point of Anglican apostasy because of its authoritative role in that church’s legislative affairs. Rebels? In church? Just who’s rebelling??

My friend and author of The Pursuit of Pleasure and Feasting on the Father, Revd William Smith, emailed me today in response to my last post’s reference to Gavin Ashenden leading a group of ‘rebel Anglicans’. I have Bill’s kind permission to publish his reaction:

Dear Richard,

REBELS?

Grace, mercy and peace to you both in our Beloved Saviour and King.

Following on from yesterdays “Watch” with the Gavin Ashenden article, I believe we have the wrong emphasis on this. (ie. in Christian Today article).

Gavin, GAFCON, and the open letter to York, are in no way rebellious. These precious faithful ones are simply that, faithful ones.

The rebels are all those who have abandoned biblical teaching in favour of contemporary ideas and unrighteous ways. It is Lambeth Palace, the Synod (in general), the supporters of “Pride” etc, who have left the truth and are in rebellion against God and His revealed ways for human behaviour.

I have said this elsewhere and feel very strongly that we should be declaring this unashamedly and unapologetically.

The rebels are those who have turned from God, not those who are walking faithfully with Him.

There is a pressing need for Anglicanism, and much of the rest of ‘the church’ to be made aware of this. To recognise the truth of what I have here written and for there to be a turning in support of these faithful ones in rejection of the others. It is being portrayed wrongly making the “rebels” (the faithful) to be those destroying the so called unity of the church, while all the time they are upholding its faithful following of The Lord Jesus. (Rant over)

I do believe we urgently need to redress the prevailing attitude and see Truth restored, the bible honoured, celebrated and followed, rather than being shamed as divisive.

Much blessing and encouragement as this battle intensifies as biblical truth is so under threat from within.

It’s worth noting today’s newspaper item on the Roman Catholic Bishop of Shrewsbury, Rt Revd Mark Davies that Christians could be treated as extremists in being targeted by the Government’s new counter-extremism measures. He’s not the first to have expressed deep reservations over these plans. (Digital version not available)
