GPS#11 part 4: ‘from the ends of the earth’ – New Zealand

Another incoming ‘alert’, this time the first of two from overseas was received from the Lord’s ‘Global Prophecy Signalling’ system a fortnight ago today.

Over that weekend I’d been musing over the query from ‘AD’ on a call for more prayer for our nation and Suzanne’s introducing me to her intercessory ministry, Passion For The Nation and booklet Declarations to Change a Nation – plus Sharon’s mentoring day being of direct personal relevance!

Furthermore, I’d noted a friend’s email that evangelist David Hathaway is calling for a national day of prayer (more on this and the other overseas ‘ping’ in part 5). So an influx of intercessory calls was gathering momentum and Monday morning 5th February saw more arriving – and aligning with what I’d heard at the weekend’s meeting!

“PROPHESY WITH ‘TEETH’ – like a ‘Threshing Sledge’!”

In catching up with my long weekend’s cyber in-tray of email and WordPress/Facebook notifications I espied a courteous request from ‘Victoria’, who blogs ‘from the ends of the earth’ in the North Island of New Zealand. She asks for permission to republish my blog of the revival prophecy that Arthur Burt carried since 1937 and known as ‘There Shall Be No Ebb’. It now features on her group’s Facebook calling prayers for an Awakening in New Zealand and the South Pacific – and it was soon to be repeated here!

In its republication I’d sensed a possible reinforcing of that word in broadcasting across a cyber-platform and thus, as a prophetical declaration, in keeping with what Dr Stone had heard of the Lord blessing prophetic words with ‘teeth’. That is, the prophetic’s now going up a level, beyond what Sharon a few years ago on its fulfillment getting closer to declaration (ie acceleration), into delivery with a ‘threshing’ action now it’s harvest time.  Hence for example, the ‘fortuitous’ re-appearance of the ‘castles’ prophetic word just after this New Year. AND this is borne out by the general tenor of new material coming daily from UK Prophetic Words (UKPW).

Also, each of the Saturday’s main sessions were of direct relevance to me; not only on very recent spiritual exercises (‘Engage’ with Jesus) and a 50 years-old ambition (being a ‘friend of God), but also regarding my calling 10 years ago to blog on the prophetic! So, my focus that week was to return to basics and blog in-depth on watching and what to watch for; which resulted in two new ‘About’ reference hubs on this blog’s menu – and I reversed the title of an existing one to follow them alphabetically (Brexit vs EU).

Then on Wednesday 7th, UKPW published Prophetic Decrees for Revival in the UK – Arthur Burt  – ‘There Shall Be No Ebb’. Day’s later I asked Suzanne Payne whether or not she’d been contacted or read Victoria’s focus on that word in NZ. She replied in the negative saying ‘No other reason other than it’s the oldest prophecy for the UK that I know of.’

In fact, Sue had introduced the rationale for republishing prophecies in that post, viz:

‘Over the last few months, God has repeatedly been calling His people to DECREE the PROMISES that have been PROPHESIED over OUR LIVES, our CHURCHES, our CITIES and our NATION.

‘For this reason, I thought I would be good to daily post KEY PROPHETIC WORDS that have been given for this nation, so we can MAKE DECREES from each Word, LEADING UP TO David Hathaway’s Day of Prayer for Britain 23 March (see here )

‘It would be great if we could be in unity in doing this and SEE REVIVAL BREAK FORTH in the UK.

‘Starting with decreeing this Word from Arthur Burt 1937: I DECREE over the UK:

It (Revival) shall come as a breath…

And the breath shall bring the wind…

And the wind shall bring the rain.

And there shall be floods and floods and floods…

And torrents and torrents and torrents.

Souls shall be saved like falling leaves from mighty oaks swept by a hurricane.

Arms and legs shall come down from heaven…

… And there shall be no ebb.”

Thus, we have a confirmation of the answer to the question AD had raised that began the influx of calls for prayer that I was observing – and now a reiteration and declaring of existing prophecies on both sides of the world – giving them ‘teeth’!!

GPS#11 part 3: Dr Sharon Stone – new prophetic season for UK

Now, I get to use the graphic I almost used for the first part of my 11th instance of God’s GPS (Global Prophecy Signals) but for ‘AD’s reminder as I was about to publish it!  To my mind it’s symbolic of the positioning of comms satellites over and around the earth but immersed in an influx of spiritual power and information.

This series of GPS#11 is about an influx of events and information I received during the fortnight covering the end of January and first complete week of February, all of which are related to the increasing need to pray for Great Britain. The first part featured ‘AD’s email reminding the Church to humble ourselves, repent of our wrongdoing and pray for change in ourselves so our nation maybe blessed. The second brought a strong word of encouragement for the ecclesia in following the Lord’s will and bringing about His plans for Britain. [NB: my editorial haste led to a couple of minor amendments being made – especially that we “Arise and accept the commission…”, and spell-checker changes of  ‘thou’ to ‘though’.]

As intimated in my New Year’s Blessing to readers, its relation to the Word for 2018 Leisa delivered, the ‘resurrection’ of the Word on Castles and Praying for UK from Liz Evans, all plugging into Jane Hamon’s word about receiving a Prophet’s Reward, I’ve been mulling over the possibility of a new level of insight and authority in my writings as being akin to prophetic declarations. (Some ‘sabbatical’, LOL.)

This was confirmed by Dr Sharon Stone in how she prayed for delegates at the year’s first mentoring day on 3rd February that, however we start the year, our posture puts us in a place of alignment to succeed, to fulfill and to accomplish the themes Father has put before us. Before teaching on how to ‘Engage’ with Jesus she referred to what she received in January when the Lord spoke to her and said,

“Sharon, I have given you a good reputation in the land.” For this I thank Him. He’s given me favour with many, but now He’s saying, “NOW, let’s use it!”  

“I felt like I was given TEETH…I mean the threshing instrument with teeth [Isaiah 41:15].

“You know when you’re pioneering a lot of the time you operate in a lot of protocol and become all things to all people so there might be understanding and agreement and wisdom, and you encourage and you persuade…and you do all those things and you change the label of the prophetic to fit in every place you go because you know that when they get a taste of it they won’t let go; because it’s their Lord, their Saviour, their Deliverer, their Healer, their Restorer, their Redeemer.

“And so when they recognise that’s THE voice they realise how contagious it is, then they realise they cannot live without the voice of God, without having that greater clarity on the inside. How can they fulfill their destiny without having a greater understanding of strategy? How can they possibly know what to do with their day without having a God that speaks to them as a time manager, even to help them fulfill everything that God’s called them to do?

“I’ve done all that and the Lord says, “Now let’s use that reputation!”

“Amen, I don’t believe that reputation solely rest upon my shoulders and so I pray right now for these (delegates):

“Father, we’re in a different prophetic season with teeth, not one with just protocol. Father this isn’t a season of political correctness!

“Father, this is a prophetic season of TEETH! And so where many of us have allowed diplomacy to fill our mouths – we thank You for that God – but I release right now the sharpness of Your sword; I release the sharpness of Your teeth to accomplish much in the name of Jesus; the sharpness of  the threshing instrument to be able to accomplish what needs to be accomplished.

“And so stand here and speak to the enemy and say: Where you have thought you could run alongside us and that we’d do nothing about you, we declare today that we put you on notice and command you: Back up and back off! – in the name of Jesus!”

Sharon and delegates then went into warfare mode!

Afterwards, I happened to chat with one of her associates, Suzanne Ferrett, with whom I’d shared what I’d ‘seen’ out at the Runnymede area a few years ago. That’s where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215 AD and now, in discussion, I learn about her prophetic intercessory ministry based upon a spiritual version of that Great Charter.

After starting to investigate further and whilst writing this I begin to see the ‘invisible jigsaw pieces’ coming together once again, because not only does this plug into the prophetic word on castles, but also into my researches on the history of Reading and the Thames Valley in the times of King Alfred the Great, and of his establishing a Christian government across ancient Wessex and Mercia – see Historical Research hub.

Brief update to Bible Update on ‘Gog-Magog’: Israel & US vs Iran & Russia

The necessity for brevity in Bible Update: Ezekiel 38-9 – Iran vs Israel – USA and Russia? meant I didn’t expand upon the parenthesis in my opening remark, ‘…news of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard’s threat to ‘open the gates of hell’ over the Zionist regime (not the first such threat)…’. Let me now explain:

Please don’t listen to critics’ claiming evangelical Christians support Israel just because they want to hasten the battle of Armageddon.  In fact the reality is this:

Shiite theology desires exactly that in order to bring about the return of their hidden 12th Imam, or Mahdi – and supposedly accompanied by the prophet Jesus!

Thus, the ultimate goal of Iran’s theocratic regime is the removal of the Jewish state of Israel, as I was stunned to see thirty years ago!

[Those who’ve read my Bio Info may recall that, whilst casually flicking through a new book I’d been given I noticed lots of references to the significance of Jerusalem, I also was watching a documentary on then raging Iraq-Iran war. Suddenly I heard a narrator on TV say what’s being shown is elite units from opposing forces rehearsing together an attack upon Jerusalem – that is, despite being at war with one another!!  Thus began my appreciation as a non-believer in the Bible’s prophetic value. The truth of this reality got confirmed in peculiar instances (‘God-incidents’) after I’d started blogging, especially around its fourth anniversary in November 2013 – see The Invisible Hand Reappears and Did My Triple Warning About Iran Affect WordPress Connections? and from 2015,  What’s Weird About Writing About Iran.]

So it comes as no surprise to see this headline in this morning’s Jerusalem Post: Israeli Defense Minister : Iran Declared War On Us Long Ago.: ‘Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Wednesday. “Iran declared war on us long ago. The highest echelons in Tehran want to erase the Zionist entity, they do not hide the fact that they want to wipe the State of Israel off the face of the earth” Liberman said at annual conference…“Iran is also fighting us through their proxies: Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and now Hamas and of course the Syrian regime.Therefore, it is a daily war not only in the military aspect but also in the realm of international terrorism and we do everything in order to preserve Israel’s security,” adding that Israel maintains absolute freedom of action and will do everything necessary to prevent Iran from consolidating themselves in Syria.

GPS#11 part 2: God has great plans for Britain

This word delivered by Leisa Ebere and transcribed by Carolyn Stewart is one of several received over the cusp of January-February, and like all others is to be weighed and discerned with the Lord. Leisa writes:

‘The Lord gave me this Powerful Word at the Apostolic Symposium which was recently conducted by the Prophetic and Apostolic Alliance on 29/01/18. We had a large group of ministers that attended the symposium event from varying churches and ministries, all hungry for the Move of God’s Spirit.  I believe the Lord wants this Word further released to the Body of Christ as He is commissioning his Body of Believers for the next Great Move of His Spirit upon the Earth!  To God be the Glory.’

The Lord would say,

“Behold, behold the word of the Lord. For surely I am stirring up in this hour strange and unusual things to confound the wise.”  And the Lord says, “There is a great wind stirring across this nation, for I have plans for it,” says the Lord.  “I have great plans for it,” says the Lord. “Where the enemy sought to entrap it in the enemy’s scheme and cause it to be defiled I will not allow that to happen, my people.  For there is a remnant being raised up and I am drawing them out of the cave,” says God. “And my pastors are beleaguered. My pastors are weary,” says God, “and I am raising up an apostolic and prophetic generation,” says God; “a mighty company to break down the strongholds of the enemy and I tell you they shall prevail – they shall prevail,” says the Lord. “As the mighty foundations of my shaking rocks this nation you shall see the righteous placed in high places of government. You shall see the House of Windsor come to salvation,” says God. “You shall see such a mighty stirring that no human eyes have ever seen before,” says God. “And from the launching of the stirring of my Spirit I say to you there will be a great launching of my Spirit across the countries of this earth,” says God. “Be thou comforted this day as you walk in unity and you rise to the calling of the foundations of my apostles and prophets. Then surely I will perform my will,” says God. “I have been waiting, I have been waiting for you, my children. Arise and accept the commission I have set before you. For surely the way will not be easy, but the Spirit of God will go before you,” says God, “and I will strengthen your hands and I will open the ‘Red Sea’ and I shall cause you to possess the land,” says God. “Be thou comforted this day, for surely the hand of the Lord is upon you in your obedience,” says God.

GPS#11 part 1: influx of calls to intercede for Britain!

Last month’s republished prophetic word on castles and the call to pray for establishing God’s rule in our nation was January’s most popular post.  So far this month a number of calls have come to my attention on the importance of intercession for Britain – not so much as a shower of ‘jigsaw pieces’, but more like God’s Global Prophecy Signalling system in operation.  On the last day of that month the first ‘buzz’ came from one of my readers and I sought and received permission to publish. ‘AD’ writes:

‘As a quick introduction my husband and I returned in Aug 2016 from 43 years in South Africa because the Lord led us to. It’s an incredible story in itself, but the reason why He has brought us back is to declare Life over UK, to build up and to plant. This morning after listening to the amazing speech given by President Trump I said, “That’s wonderful and I rejoice in his courage but Lord what about UK?  What’s to be done to begin to heal this wayward and fractured country?”

‘Instantly I heard the Holy Spirit say, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,  then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place”. 2Chron 7v 14, 15.

‘It’s so familiar that I could have just thought it up myself as an answer.  However every word was forcefully impacted on me as only the Holy Spirit does.  The point is, the Church is responsible for both the problems and the solution here.   It’s not for a denomination; it’s for His people, called by His name, to hear.  Christians to humble themselves and pray.  Find out by seeking His face what He is wanting to do. Unite and come together to pray as the Church in UK and so halt divisions caused by pride and prejudice. When we pray and seek His face together He will command the blessing.

‘Give up and turn our backs on all the wicked ways that have become the norm for Christians and repent of our sin personally and collectively THEN He will enter in and do what is needed.   It’s vital that the call to all believers can go out with the clarity of the Trumpet or Shofar call.  The Church is the answer to all the questions today.  It’s why Jesus warned us we would need to take up our cross just as He did and follow.  It leads to death but results in Life.’

‘I thought of contacting you as I read your posts.  Perhaps others are confirming this word and maybe it can go out using Christian media or however it can.  Like a fire it will run through the church first, and then spread to burn the dross out of the country allowing his grace and favour to reach the lost again.  I’m intimidated at the task as I sense it’s a crucible time for UK but I had to share.  May His people unite to fear His name and establish righteousness in this nation again.  He has called His Church to be the head and not the tail.   It’s time.’

AMEN, indeed it’s time Lord.  Later, in her reply the next day, ‘AD’ adds:

‘I was struck again how faithful God is in answering prayer.  This scripture was a response from God to the many specific prayers made by Moses in 2 Chronicles6 vv 18 – 42.  Even when I visited Israel many years ago and prayed at the Wailing Wall, and put my request for an impossible restoration in a chink in the stones… the Lord magnificently did the impossible…and now I just realised He was answering Solomon’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 6 v 32. Humbling but amazing!  Faithful God.

‘Even when we as a country deny him he remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself.  I think of the many times He has poured out revival, salvation, healing, and hope on this nation.  Apart from the disciples I don’t know of a nation anywhere that sent out missionaries with the word that gives Life like this one.

‘I’m believing the fire will fall again as in chapter 7 v 1.  Let it be.  We are all called to be salt to preserve and light to show the way and it’s urgently required now, but we as believers have got to respond if our sins are to be forgiven and the land healed.’

Finally, just now ‘AD’ replies to my advice of publication and reminds me of a picture I’d thought of in the night as being appropriate in this mini-series but forgotten! (So what I had gives way to what is now displayed, AND relates to the Jean Darnall vision – see Library under 1967 for links.) ‘AD’ says:

‘It’s very encouraging how much The Lord is doing in the UK. I had a vision of a dark map of UK with small pinpricks of light. .then as the numbers grew they all started to join up creating large areas of light all over. I’m looking forward to that!’

Aren’t we all!  AMEN – let it be so Lord.

FOUR Jesus’ End-Time Signs Seen – Pray for Christian ex-magistrate before Tribunal

‘As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked Him privately, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?“…“Now learn this lesson from the fig-tree. As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening you know that it is near, right at the door!”  (Mark 13:3, 28-29 NIV).

Today, Croydon Employment Tribunal starts hearing the case of Richard Page – a Christian who was removed from being a magistrate after he expressed his belief that children do best with a mother and a father. The case is scheduled to last for five days.

Richard was first challenged by his seniors in late 2014 when, after hearing an adoption case, he could not agree with his fellow magistrates that placing a child into the care of a same-sex couple was ‘in the child’s best interest’. Richard says,

“As a magistrate, I have to act on the evidence before me and quite simply, I believe that there is not sufficient evidence to convince me that placing a child in the care of a same-sex couple can be as holistically beneficial to a child as placing them with a mum and dad as God and nature intended.

“I am surprised that this Lord Chancellor should seemingly pander to the new political orthodoxy when what it amounts to is social experimentation on the lives of the most vulnerable children in our communities. To punish me and to seek to silence me for expressing a dissenting view is deeply worrying. I shall challenge this decision as it is deeply illiberal and intolerant. It is vital the family law courts always have in mind the best interests of the children…”

Richard is supported by the Christian Legal Centre and represented by its Standing Counsel, human rights barrister Paul Diamond. The Centre’s chief executive, Andrea Minichiello Williams, comments:

“The Lord Chancellor has removed Richard from the magistracy for allegedly being ‘prejudiced’ and for speaking out in the media about what has happened to him.

“This unmasks the face of the new political orthodoxy; it is unkind. It tries to silence opposing views and if it fails it crushes and punishes the person who holds those views.

“To remove someone like Richard from the bench is modern-day madness. He has a lifetime of public service and expertise in mental health. He is motivated by his Christian faith and a deep compassion for people.”

Yesterday’s DEBKAfile report Iran’s Saegheh drone in Syria a worry for US as well as Israel gives penetrating insights into this conflict, as hinted in this extract:

‘The infiltrator drone was discovered to have been part of a whole fleet of advanced armed Saegheh UAVs housed at the T-4 base. The second wave of Israeli air strikes against 12 Syrian and Iranian targets decimated this fleet. Most importantly, the drone intrusion and its sequel exposed the incident to have been no one-off,  but part of a calculated Iranian plot against Israel at the highest level, that was coordinated in advance with the Russian air force, which shares the use of T-4, and the Syrian air defense systems, which operate under Russian command. It is equally important to note that Iran brought its Saegheh UAV’s to Syria with Moscow’s consent.
This may be accounted for by the drone’s unique provenance.

‘In a long and arduous process of reverse engineering, Iran’s munitions industry copied some of the components of the CIA’s most secret stealth drone, the RQ-170 Sentinel, after it was intercepted and captured over Iran in December 2011. The American drone, armed and capable of detecting clandestine nuclear tests, is rated the finest UAV of its kind in operation. Tehran claimed it had intercepted the Sentinel’s overflight by taking control of the American surveillance satellite communications which navigated the drone’s course. This was vehemently denied by Washington. At the time, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources revealed that the those responsible for the feat of bringing the secret American drone down intact were not Iranian but Chinese cyber experts.

So what happened? According to Israeli authorities an Iranian drone flew into Israeli airspace yesterday. Israel responded with some F-16’s taking out the drone. (By the way, military drones are not the little 4- or 6-propellar toys we see flying around in the local news—they are unmanned aircraft which can be as large as manned fighters themselves.)

Bible Update: 2Thess 2 – Apostasy within ‘churches’ (Signs Nos 6, 15 & 19)

Now we know what ‘Signs’ we’re watching out for, here’s a couple that are happening nowadays and, regrettably, in too many churches:

  • falling away from faith (2Thess 2:3 – Sign #15)by
  • the unrighteous deception (2Thess 2:10 – Sign #19)

Moreover, Sign #6 (Mark 13:8, 12-13) too is appearing as ‘brethren’ in the faith are acting against brethren. Eg., self-styled brothers/sisters in lgbt ‘church’ in Blackpool seeking to ban evangelist Franklin Graham from entering Britain – utterly outrageous!

None of those false brethren have ever done what this renowned Christian and his charity Samaritan’s Purse have done across the world in implementing Sign #1: eg. opening up communist North Vietnam in being officially welcomed by government officials in Hanoi, where he’s preached the gospel to hundreds of churches there!

In Jesus’ apocalyptic letter to the 7 churches in Asia Minor, He spoke of His “hatred of the deeds of the Nicolatians”, a group claiming superior status that permitted idolatry and sexual immorality in Ephesus (Rev 2:6) and especially in Pergamos (Rev 2:14-15); and in Thyatira a Jezebel operated (Rev 2:20-21) where, unless they repented, Jesus would deal direct and severely with their sinfulness!

As sexual sins were sin then, then they’re sin today! Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to realise that leaders/attendees of churches who condone, encourage and practise such sins today are in the very same situation and need to repent earnestly.. In perverting the apostolic and traditional teaching on sexuality and claiming superior ‘moral’ authority to do so, they’re no different to the heretics and gnostics with whom the early church was in deep dispute. (I was involved in all that before being saved – “I’m Free!” refers.)

Fulfilled Prophecy #26 – Exposed: ‘coup’ threats against Brexit and against Trump

UTTERLY fantastic ‘coincidence’ with what I’ve prepared for publishing today, as though more pieces of God’s ‘Invisible Jigsaw’!  One warning of a possible coup d’etat, another of international meddling, both exposing corrupt and apparently centrally directed, anti-democratic chicanery on opposite sides of ‘The Pond’.

Daily Telegraph’s investigative journalists are to be warmly congratulated (click to read)

The strap-line and opening paragraph of this exclusive investigation read:

‘Billionaire financier Soros hosts campaign dinner to undermine May and keep Britain in the EU – George Soros, the billionaire known as the man who “broke the Bank of England”, is backing a campaign to overturn Brexit, the Telegraph can disclose.

‘The investor is one of three senior figures linked to the Remain-supporting campaign group Best for Britain who plan to launch a nationwide advertising campaign this month, which they hope will lead to a second referendum to keep Britain in the EU. The campaign is trying to recruit major Tory donors in an attempt to undermine Theresa May.

‘It also plans to target MPs and convince them to vote against the final Brexit deal to trigger another referendum or general election, according to a strategy document leaked from a meeting of the group….’ [NB: ‘premium’ content, but one item/week may be accessed free-of-charge.]

This isn’t entirely new because in Why Leave the EU? Jonathan Ely posted rumours of Soros’ interference in our democratic decision to leave the ‘Tower of Babel/Brussels’. Also, December’s issue of Christian Voice published an in-depth report on Soros’ pan-EU anti-Brexit web by Stephen Green (see Farage Exposes Soros Plotters). AND his dealings were exposed in June 2016 ( Is Brexit an ‘Act of God’? Yes, but it challenges Churches!).

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF ‘THE POND’

A fortnight ago today I blogged about corruption worse than the Watergate scandal surfacing, as another example of fulfillment of my prophetical musing about the exposure of rotten politics and corruption in the UK, USA – and EU? (Months later examples erupted here and here, then a year later here; others brought prophecies on it, as blogged here and here in November 2016 and here a year later.)

Thank you Jennie C and Lynne H for informing me of news emerging the day before my blog of Franklin Graham’s warning about the ‘Deep State Threat’ – even a ‘coup d’etat’ – against President Trump.

In recent months the so-called “deep state” has been all over the news in America. A WND report of January says, “Loosely defined, it’s the career bureaucrats who wield considerable influence on the policy and practice of the federal government. While the heads of agencies are political appointees changing with each president, “deep state” members, with their own political ideologies and agendas, remain.”

Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Franklin at a dinner held on behalf of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and his famous international charity, Samaritan’s Purse.

Also, I recall Franklin having fallen foul of Obama’s policies in his first presidential term and I mentioned a couple of instances in an email of 2010 to friends: the Pentagon had withdrawn their invitation to attend a prayer breakfast and Muslim activists wanted him banned from attending America’s National Prayer Day!!! 

Yet he was one of several pastors who were invited to pray for Donald Trump at his Inauguration!

Fox News’ Franklin Graham Warns of Deep State Coup Against President Trump, is summarised as follows (courtesy Koenig’s Eye-View From The White House of 26 January, Bill’s emphases retained):

‘One of the nation’s most prominent Christian leaders said he fears President Trump is facing a grave domestic threat by forces who want to take over the White House.

“I believe we are in a coup d’etat,” Franklin Graham said Wednesday (24th) on the Todd Starnes Radio Show. “There are people in this country who are wanting to destroy the president and take over the government by force.“

‘Graham revealed his concerns as congressional Republicans ramp up accusations that deep state actors within the FBI and the Justice Department may have been plotting against the president.

‘The evangelical leader did not name names, but he suggested the mainstream media was complicit in the silent coup. Click here to listen to the shocking interview.

“They are not going to use bullets. They are using the media – to plant thoughts in people’s minds that he’s incompetent, that he’s dangerous, that you can’t trust him with nuclear weapons, that he is mentally unstable,” Graham said.

‘Graham and other Christian leaders have been targeted in recent days by the mainstream media for their unwavering support of the president. Many have been accused of hypocrisy for backing a man who is accused of cheating on his wife and using profanity.‘

That was a fortnight ago. For an update, with interpretation for we Brits, on the situation let’s check out the lady journalist ‘going wherever the evidence leads’, Melanie Phillips. In last Sunday’s article on the now-famous Nunes Memo her analysis leads her to note and conclude:

‘Bottom line seems to me to be that the FBI and DoJ misled the FISA court by failing to provide it with information that seriously called into question the reliability of the evidence put to it to support the request for a surveillance warrant to spy on the Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page. That would seem to be, to put it mildly, a serious abuse of legal process which totally undermined the protection afforded to the public against abuse of the FISA surveillance powers designed to guard against terrorist offences…

‘We don’t know anything like the full picture on all this and so must be cautious. It may be that further information will emerge which will radically change the story that’s now unfolding. But as things stand, it looks very much as if, under the Obama administration, certain senior figures in the FBI and DoJ corrupted the administration of law enforcement and subverted the US constitution.

‘This is deeply shocking, and Congress must now continue to place more information in the public domain so that we can all finally assess just what took place here and just how deep this most fetid swamp has become.’

It must NOT escape our attention that Soros and Obama are in cahoots as more-or-less leaders of the Organization for Action (OfA) – AND the Telegraph’s journalists point out its violent nature as witnessed in the US and warns of a distinct possibility of similar deliberately organised manifestations happening in Britain!

On the Soros meeting in London, those investigators tell of a leaked strategy document for a campaign to undermine Brexit that reveals,

‘…a series of Momentum-style mass rallies and concerts are planned and the campaign will have a “heavy youth focus”…and reveals a plan to  “pressure” MPs in 100 Leave-supporting constituencies and sets out how organisers have a range of guerrilla marketing tactics” to build momentum.

‘(Soros’) involvement comes more than 25 years after he made over £1 billion betting against the pound shortly before the UK withdrew from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. More recently he has been accused of organising rallies against Donald Trump in the US and interfering in the democracies of several European nations.’ (Emphasis mine)

A year ago the New York Post, as part of the MSM not noted as a Trump supporter, reported on How Obama’s Scheming to Sabotage the Trump Presidency via the OfA.

As there’s no smoke without fire, maybe the Christian journalists who were deeply wary of the person and policies of the past American president, claiming he and Soros may be furthering the Antichrist’s agenda and strategies, could have discerned ‘the devil in the detail’?

Update to the sequence of ‘signs’

Since publication of signs we’re to watch out for according to the Gospels and Paul’s letters, I’ve changed the bullet-point listing to numerical for ease of reference. Although verse numbering isn’t used, the sequence of signs follows that shown in the chapters stated in my introduction. Also, the cross-related signs from both of Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians are now inserted, and words attributed to Jesus appear in red.

Your attention is particularly drawn to Sign #6 (Mark 13:14) as it may be a ‘pivotal’ game-changer, and it also connects into Old Testament prophecy and that of The Apocalypse. (Their content lies outside the parameters of my previous post.)

After looking at who, why and when we’re to watch, we review what Jesus told us to watch out for:

WHAT?

The Who, Why, When & What of Watching – cont’d

Continuing the reasons for watching for the Lord Jesus’ return we consider when that might happen:

WHEN?

Jesus’ major End-time teaching was given soon after leaving the Temple with some of His disciples and having foretold its complete destruction, which was to happen about 40 years later after the infamous Roman siege of Jerusalem.

Jesus on the Mount of Olives:

When He went and sat on the nearby Mount of Olives, two sets of brothers (Peter & Andrew, James & John) asked Him to expand upon that prophecy, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?” (seee Mark 13, Luke 21, Matthew 24).

He answered in some depth, and by examination of the details we can conclude that not only does Jesus describe later events in that First Century but also those of a much later time, one yet to come but which is now at the door!  So Jesus did, but didn’t, tell them precisely ‘when’!

In talking of that far future time however, He tells them a parable about the appearing of leaves on a fig tree – which many believe refers to the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel.:

“So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it (or ‘He’) is near – at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place..But of that day and hour no-one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is…Watch therefore…I say to all: Watch!” (Mark 13:28-37 NKJV emphasis mine)

Other passages of the New Testament imply that He, or Holy Spirit, subsequently gave those leading disciples, and Saul of Tarsus who became Apostle Paul, further insights on the approximate timing of those signs, as below:

Peter preaching in the Temple:

After Jesus’ Ascension into heaven Peter, when teaching in the Temple, called people  to,

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of His holy prophets since time began…” (Acts 3:19-21 – my emphasis.)

So there’s a huge contribution followers of Christ have yet to make across all spheres of society towards such restoration – we’ve hardly started; not to mention both human and demonic opposition – but however do we restore ‘all things’?  We must conclude that only The Almighty is able to bring about the ‘restoration of ‘all things’ – and doubtless in the manner Zecharia prophesied to governor Zerubbabel:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit”, says the Lord of hosts. (Zech 4:6 NKJV)

Although we need to beware of false prophets, Acts 3:21 implies that the Lord will keep His prophets informed of His intentions in bringing this about (Amos 3:7). Hence the important relevance of contemporary prophecy.

Paul writing to the Thessalonians:

We know from Acts and accounts in Paul’s Epistles that this Apostle to the Gentiles was blessed with visions of and revelations from Jesus Himself as, for example, in the main scripture quoted by ‘pre-Tribbers’:

‘For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
‘For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.’ (1Thess 4:15-17 NKJV)

‘But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.’ (1Thess 5:1-5 NKJV – emphases added)

Maybe it’s as well the Palestinian leaders have been defiantly intransigent over the so-called ‘peace plan’ with Israel and, like Iran and Hezbollah, want to wipe Israel off the face of the map!  Even so, let’s keep watching!

The Who, Why, When & What of Watching

Recent re-blogs’ references to one of eight possible eschatological scenarios, that of a pre-Tribulation Rapture, plus a theological blog’s discussion has prompted me to revisit and expand upon one of this blog’s earliest entries – ‘Why Watch?’  It’s now time to consider who, why, when and what we are watching out for:

WHO?

You, me and everyone, especially those who believe in and follow Jesus Christ – HE is the WHO and thus the basic reason we should be watching.  If you’re not familiar with His life, ministry and status, or with the fact we can be in a close, loving relationship with Him, then dip into this blog’s brief outline at Do You Know Jesus?

WHY?

For me, a spectacular, life-changing event in 1989 made watching very personal and connected into relevant, directive scripture. Then in 2008, wanting to check Jesus’ parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13, I opened my Bible and IT EXPLODED! and I heard

“This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”

Thus began my series of emails to friends and church leaders about prophecy, as told nine years ago this month in part one of  The Endgame Is Now In Play, wherein I wrote:

‘Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins > “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (Luke 21:36 and chapter 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators (Acts 3:20-1, Hebrews 12:26-7, 2 Peter 3, 2 Timothy 3 and the first and second letters to the Thessalonians).’

It’s claimed that for every OT prophecy about Jesus Christ’s birth and life there’s seven to eight times as many about His eventual return or ‘Parousia’, also called ‘The Second Advent’ or ‘Second Coming’. I’m of the opinion the likelihood of that event sometime in our lifetime is rapidly increasing !

Jesus stressed the great importance of His return. Eg, His instruction to the four who’d been with Him from the outset of His mission is given at Mark 13:33-37 (NKJV):

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.

“Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning – lest, coming suddenly, he finds you sleeping! And what I say to you, I say to all, ‘Watch!’.”

That’s why I’m watching and, believer or not, you too are included, as can be clearly understood from Jesus’ words: “I say to ALL…“

How can we be sure?

You may object and say, “But even if that’s an accurate quotation it’s only guesswork”. That is, prophecies don’t always come to pass.  In answer and in synopsis only [more details here], I therefore offer the following key to foretelling the future.:

We’re privileged to learn what Almighty God has decided is to happen. He shared his plans with a select number of ancient sages, or prophets, over a long period that started 29 centuries ago, and several centuries before Christ. Amidst extensive instructions He told the prophet Isaiah:

“For I am God and there is no other, I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand and I shall do all My pleasure’…” (Isaiah 46:9-10 NKJV)

In fact, some years before Isaiah the first of the ‘writing prophets’ had received a distinct word about God’s intention to divulge His plans. This is recorded in Amos’ scroll at the seventh verse of the third chapter (in modern notation):

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

In “What If They’re wrong?” Tony Puccio looks at why pre-Tribulation Rapture claims may be mistaken. In actual fact, 20th Century history disproves pre-Tribbers’ ideas!

In his post linked below, R.J Dawson recounts his personal interest in those ideas and demonstrates why they were wrong. Esssentially, those theories failed to grasp not only scripture but also political events believed to have been of direct relevance. I’d heard of the best-seller R.J refers to, but being a New Ager in those days I thought ‘archaic’(!) Christians were jumping on the bandwagon of cataclysm/conspiracy theories. (The Lord had a non-Christian give me a businessman’s Biblical analysis of modern geopolitics, ‘The Invisible Hand’.)  I understand those theories arose out of Reformed Theology’s deep disdain for the Roman Catholic church.
