Sadly, there seems to be evidence that the ‘manipulation mentality’ about which I wrote (here, here and here) may be affecting the BBC’s staff themselves. Could entrenched mindsets be hindering their ability to comprehend and effectively communicate?
The strange story of a complaint to the BBC tells of their peculiar reply to a listener’s complaint. This report demonstrates the BBC complaints people either failed to read the submission, or else were incapable of comprehending its content. Their reply bizarrely twisted its meaning, gave a rambling self-justification and did not address the concerns. BBC Watch draws this conclusion.:
One cannot but wonder how many other complaints are being registered by the BBC as the exact opposite of what they actually are and how that influences the reliability of the BBC’s complaints statistics and the resulting appraisals of its own performance.
Incidentally, I’m loathe to think and write in a judgemental manner and so I was reticent about my posting on yellow journalism. But then by ‘sheer coincidence’, after typing it, I checked BBC Watch only to read the lasted news of a ‘yellow card’ for the journalist in question! So it was probably more a ‘God-incidence’, perhaps to show He’s doing more shaking, as prophesied in January (here and here). So watch out for more, lots more…
26 Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. 27 Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removalandtransformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue.28 Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; 29 For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire. – Amplified Bible: Hebrews chapter 12]
A National Prayer Evening was held on 3rd November by Christian International Europe in Windsor, Royal Berkshire. Daytime sessions included prophetic training and several prophetical voices shared what they believe God is saying for 2013.
The first to speak on what the Lord is saying at this time was Dr Sharon Stone, who opened with this important caveat:
“I do not believe that when I bring forth a prophetic word it’s ‘the beginning’ or ‘the end’ of what The Spirit of God is saying; it’s just my part that God has given me at that time.
I also believe there are different types of prophetic gifting, and I realise that about myself. I am not called to deny the darkness or even the judgement, or the shaking, that is going on in the earth, but the type of prophet that I am is that I am called to be a voice of hope and solution in the midst of the darkness and in the midst of the shaking…it is not a denying of the one or the other…” (my emphasis)
In view of my discussion with Sharon earlier in the year about the special locality possibly being a ‘link’ between heaven and earth, I was interested to learn that she and husband Greg had just moved into Windsor. They didn’t have phones other than a mobile until the previous day, and the TV system in the new house needed a specialist technician to hook up and demonstrate its use. So they weren’t able to keep up with the latest world news except on the internet, and this is what Sharon shared about ‘superstorm’ Sandy.:
“I don’t want to talk about the hurricane only hitting New York – it hit the Caribbean, it hit New Jersey, it hit New York, it went on up into Canada. There were deaths everywhere and so we don’t downsize any of that. In matter of fact, its eye hit New Jersey but the greatest amount of damage was done in New York and I think the reason people put the emphasis on that is simply because that’s the financial district, that has the Statue of Liberty, a place of identity for the nation, a place of rule in the nation. And so that’s why I believe people’s focus is upon there, even though that’s not the only place that it touched…
“I only got to see it once in a while…and one time the Lord said,
“The hurricane Sandy is a punctuation.”
“…and so when I would see it, one time it would look like a full stop with the eye in the middle…another time with it swirling it would look like the question mark, with the dot, and when I’d see it another time it was elongated and it looked like the exclamation mark with the dot on the bottom!
“And the Lord kept saying that this hurricane and these winds are ‘a punctuation’ – not just in the US but a punctuation in the world. Now a type of punctuation means that it draws the line, and it brings a separation and there is an alteration after that, and this is what the Lord said; He says,
“These are re-arranging winds and they’re changing the course of nations.”
“…This is a “re-arranging winds and a changing of the course of nations” and the Lord spoke this, and forgive me as I’m going to read some of this because I want to get the words right. The Lord said:
“The Old World’s time has cycled around again to become a New World (we’re part of that Old World, here in Europe) to rewrite history, no longer a Constantine conversion that advances religion without Christ. Hidden winds of change have been developing on the inside of My people and they are now blowing change into the world. The western New World, particularly the USA, will enter accelerated crisis-shaking to hasten their journey to learn that I am their true resource and I am their defender. The USA has been a champion of freedom for much of the oppressed world, but you cannot represent freedom without representing Me, Jesus, Who is the provider and Who can bring sustainable protection to the nation.
“The Lord says,
“Parts of these winds that are blowing, part of these winds that are bringing a re-arranging, are blowing away what has confused nations of their identity.
“We’re not the only nation that has been in an identity crisis. I believe that many of our nations have had skewed identity and the Lord is saying this; He says,
“I will bring you out of what you have designed by your own thinking and by your own hands – listen to that! – that I may redesign it by My thoughts and My plans.”

This is an interesting development in the light of prophet Isaiah’s proclamation from the Lord; “This is why I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place…” (Isa 13:13 Complete Jewish Bible; selection here). Why should we assume such a shaking would be vigorous – having horrendous effects upon life – when it could be done slowly and thus observed? The preceding verses provide the reason for this unusual scientific phenomonon: evil and iniquity within society! Such as today? [Quick link to illustrated account > Earth Sky.]
October 2, 2012 – EARTH –True polar wander is a geophysical theory, a way of thinking about Earth processes that might happen and that these scientists believe do happen. The theory suggests that if an object of sufficient weight on Earth – for example, a supersized volcano or other weighty land mass – formed far from Earth’s equator, the force of Earth’s rotation would gradually pull the object away from the axis around which Earth spins. A supersized volcano far from Earth’s equator would create an imbalance, in other words. As explained at Princeton.edu: If the volcanoes, land and other masses that exist within the spinning Earth ever became sufficiently imbalanced, the planet would tilt and rotate itself until this extra weight was relocated to a point along the equator. “On June 12th 2012 more than eighty Christian leaders from throughout the UK gathered in St Mary’s Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster alongside Parliamentarians for an hour of listening to God in silence. Anglicans, Baptists, Catholics and Christian leaders from a wide cross-section of ministries were present. “Below is the initial summary issued by the Organising group, a coalition of ministries under the banner “Together for the Nation” chaired by Maranatha Prayer Community. A full transcript will be available on request. [See Christen’s blog for more information, as well as my notes below.]
“Many of those who attended have said it was a very special time for them. Apparently this is the first time a group has gathered in Parliament just to listen to God with no other agenda. The summary contains a very sobering and challenging message. We are told to weigh prophecy, because while we see in part and prophesy in part, the seed of God’s “now” word are too valuable to miss.
“Don’t treat prophecy lightly, test it all; hold on to what is good and hold back from what seems bad.” 1 Thessalonians 5:20-22
“So, please read the summary below and where it seems good let it shape and inform your praying and ignore what doesn’t seem right to you.
“It is probably worth observing that like most prophecies to whole nations, it is quite broad – after all, it needs to frame the prayers of a million and more potential hearers and intercessors. So look for your own guidance within the framework it sets out.
If you accept this message, it demands an urgent response involving practical preparation and action. As one attendee wrote: “God is looking for people of skilful hands and integrity of heart who will listen to Him”.
These five themes and words repeated again and again in the verbal feedback session. Other more specific guidance and thoughts can be found in the full transcript.
God’s appointed time to judge the nations of the world is very nearly upon us. Our nation and its church have turned away from God and His standards and we are beginning to see and feel the resulting judgement.
A remnant of Britain’s covenant past, its Christian heritage and the good fruit of our worldwide missionary zeal, remains. We should embrace our spiritual sons and daughters from the nations who have returned to help us. It is possible that God may yet act out of mercy to avert the very worst of the judgement that we have brought upon ourselves. The Church is called to be the voice of hope and compassion.
The shaking of every part of man’s world-wide economic, social, political and religious systems has begun. It will be a time of great humbling, purification and refining in every aspect of society. Only what is built on the foundations that God requires will be permitted to remain – righteousness, truth and justice.
When the judgement has run its course, God has promised to restore us. This restoration must follow God’s revealed strategies and guidelines and not be led astray again by Man’s initiatives and good ideas.
Because of His great love for this nation and all of its people, God’s heart is breaking and He longs for us to respond to Him, as individuals, as a church, and as a nation. The time to respond is now.
“A theme only hinted at in the list above (see point 4) that struck a particular resonance with me was the call to the church, for reformers and builders to be released and to step up. We need to prepare for what is coming down, but Jesus is a builder, he clears the way not for destruction’s sake but to make space for the new.”

Christen stressed the importance of recalling and honouring our very ancient Christian foundations, which I’d already had occasion to do in my earlier post Landmark Parliamentary Inquiry and provided a link to a fascinating historical item.
Christen also reported that the group had recognised that institutions and people had broken past covenants with the Lord (presumably not just our reneging against the one with Israel) – “A tree doesn’t stand without good roots and severe storms are coming!”
Since 1993 the Marantha Community has been committed to speaking out to challenge the steady and deliberate removal of Christian values from our society. The Community believes that if the people of God speak with one voice, the voice of God will be heard in the land. ASA Adjudication in complaint about the Coalition For Marriage
This morning blogger Archbishop Cranmer announced that the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has ruled on four counts against complaints that the Coalition’s press advert featuring married couples is offensive. He provides the judgement report in its entirety but questions its closing ‘No further action required’ comment.
The complaint cited his blog amongst four displays of the supposedly offensive advert, which now heads his post. As I wrote here yesterday, His Grace has been tenaciously investigating the issue from another aspect. He has now received a reply to his enquiry of the ASA and which,
His Grace finds this disingenuous, if not deceitful. Is the ASA really saying, in the 21st century, that they have no means of knowing what a document contained prior to an update? If amendments are made by means of paper forms, there will be an audit trail. If they are carried out online, there will be electronic footprints. If changes are made by email correspondence, these are easily traceable. It is, frankly, inconceivable that the ASA do not know what Lord Smith’s declarations were prior to May 2012, not least because he himself must know what changes he made. Unless, of course, they have something to hide…
The problems starting to beset ASA are hardly suprising for let’s not forget the shaking that was prophesied for this year in accordance with the following scripture.:
“Yet once more I shake not only the earth but also the heaven.” (Heb 13:26 NKJV)
Further to my previous posting, please see this link to a prophetic word from the Lord given last week through Dr Sharon Stone. Although mainly for the UK it is also relevant to Europe and a couple of continental nations.
This word has two thrusts: ‘A Ripening Season’ and ‘Divine Intervention to Receive a Kingdom Which Cannot Be Shaken’ and speaks of an increased global shaking during which ”God’s hand will be upon his people in a new way”. Therein, Sharon brings the Lord’s scriptural promises for this year and many very encouraging details of how they will be achieved.
The section on how ‘Kingdom Covenant Releases Kingdom Government’ is of particular personal interest because of occasional insights received since having a vision of the Rock emerging out of a broken, torn-apart Britain. That is;
At a meeting in Bath City Church in March 2009 a group of leaders were singing ‘Our God Reigns’. Right after that song I heard from the Lord, “Prepare to rule!”. Another time in that city I was directed to Jesus’ promise to the church in ancient Philadelphia as being valid today, and in my being a ‘pillar’ (Rev 3:10-12). I didn’t realise verse 12’s reference to ‘New Jerusalem’ would also follow soon (“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name”).
Another time during worship, at a Winchester Vineyard conference in May 2011, I had a very distinct impression of the Lord drawing attention to the importance of his great goal – the bride of the Lamb as the New Jerusalem, and the new earth and new heavens – as though directing me to consider a book written beyond the Bible’s back cover (read here).
What exciting times we’re blessed to be living in! As one would expect, there’s strong measure of agreement between the two words received from the Living Lord.
Readers unfamiliar with Dr Stone may like to know that she gave a very accurate and detailed prophecy in Summer of 2008 regarding the fire that closed Eurotunnel, the unexpected collapse of XL Airline, US banks in trouble and their government bailing out mortgage giants – all of which followed within weeks. (She wrote, “September will convince you to connect into God’s economic system”.)
In July 2005, Sharon and a fellow intercessor were to attend a meeting in Bloomsbury but arrived at the height of the London bomb outrages. That meeting didn’t take place because of a nearby explosion but the ladies were on-hand to minister to traumatised police. (Trouble had been foreseen 40 days earlier by Chuck Pierce – see comments.)

For Such A Time As This:
The exhortation to Queen Esther, “Yet who knows if you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this!” from her uncle at the court of the Persian king (Esther 4:14) has kept popping into mind lately. I assumed this was because of a recent insight into the Lord’s ‘fingerprints’ in my life and which came upon revisiting my personal testimony.
We’ve now learned, however, that it will be the theme for a conference in Hull City Hall on 8th to 11th March for which Nathan Morris is taking a short break home from the Bay of The Holy Spirit Revival. In October I reported his account of the Lord’s presence in New Life Church, and April 2011 had brought prophetic encouragement for the UK.
Background: Nathan’s home was the Rotherham area and after the Lord empowered him to move in signs and wonders in Asia and Africa he was invited to a conference in Alabama in July 2010. However, he had to stay because the Lord’s presence became strongly evident in miraculous healings and continued to do so. The pastor hosting this revival is John Kilpatrick, who also hosted the Brownsville/Pensacola revival in 1995. (The author of Great Revivalists, John Peters, tells me it’s singularly significant that the Lord is again using an individual to host another Holy Spirit led Revival. As spiritual father and revivalist partner to Nathan, pastor John believes this powerful evangelist may be the next Reinhard Bonkke. As I noted last May, he may also be like our Smith Wigglesworth – yet he also now displays a developing powerful prophetical ministry, for example.:
World-changing events in 2012!
During the Bay Revival on Friday 6 January 2012 Nathan told of his having waited upon the Lord for a word about the new year. The Holy Spirit strongly impressed upon him that unfolding global events of such ever-increasing unrest and confusion will cause fear to strike in the hearts of men and confusion, uncertainty and a sense of hopelessness to grip the hearts of many, even believers! This is what the Lord gave him:
“For lawlessness will abound as nations and their leaders meet together to try and make alliances and make allegiances one with another. They shall seek peace, but shall not find it – they shall seek peace, but shall not find it! This will cause many to cry out from the rooftops for resolution but it shall still elude them for a time for further unrest will be their reward.
“For even in 2012 there shall be great events that will change the course of this world, as you know it! For as many pour out their resources to find solutions of peace, another crisis will drain them of knowledge and resolution.
“For I would know that My people would hear My voice, that I am setting the stage for that which I have foretold in My Word and it will quickly and swiftly come to pass. For the days are coming when the lawless one shall be revealed and the son of perdition shall take his stand.
“Let my people know that those who are lukewarm, those whose hearts are far from Me, even this year satan will seek to sift you – but they will not hear My voice! Fear will grip their hearts in times of unrest and in trouble.
“But for those who will hear Me, for those who will hear the call of My voice, I will put My Word in their mouths, for those who will stand upon the truth, I will overshadow them for I will be their defender.
“In these coming days such darkness shall be on the earth but they will be My light. I will give them a voice and they shall speak and men will hear, for My word will resound in their mouths
“For I am calling My church into the holiness of My presence. For those of you that will heed the voice of God the Lord says to you that even in these days, “Who shall ascend My holy mountain? – those who have clean hands and a pure heart.”
“…For the day is coming, it is even at the door, when I shall begin to judge My church. I will begin to touch My people in a way they have never known before for I will show them My glory”, says the Lord.
[RB transcription, text emboldened where oral emphasis given.] After reporting the word he’d received, Nathan spoke about how this message applies to those present, stressing that “REVIVAL IS NOT AN OPTION – IT’S A LIFELINE!”
Born-again ‘watchers’ blessed with the Holy Spirit’s gifting will want to hear and to weigh this important message. Therefore, run the video below and advance to 2hrs30min when the gray progress bar has loaded.
The words for the church are highly encouraging yet admonishing. Am I correct in thinking I’ve previously referred to a likely sifting throughout the church?
Extract from pre-blog email circulated on Thursday 18 August 2011 Subject: Comments upon Word received through Dr Sharon Stone
Dear Friends, Further to circulating a word received through Lance Lambert on the eve of the London Riots (see email 9 August) and Dr Sharon’s insights 12 August (original email and link n/a but amended Oct 2016), I was reminded Billy Graham’s grandson is coming to stir the youth of Britain in late September.
(HA! Only after having inserted that line to precede my comments written below, have I just noticed its title, Will Graham Set to Rock the UK, alludes exactly to the climax of the event I’m writing about….)
Personally, I’m encouraged that this word (through Revd Dr Stone) confirms the gist of a large open vision about 10 foot in front of me, that came at the opening of worship at the start of a conference in St Albans in October 2004. [Note: blue text copied from original email.]
“Before me I ‘saw’ a map of Britain surrounded by the sea, as though painted on rotten sacking – like old, wet coal-sacks I saw in my youth. It seemed the Lord was saying the fabric of our nation’s so rotten He could tear it apart so easily.
This ‘map’ then began to rip apart in the middle, from about the line of Hadian’s Wall down along the line of the Pennine chain to the Midlands, and I sensed the Lord say, “I’m going to put the backbone back in Britain”. (I recalled that the Pennines are known as the spine of England.)
But out of the tear arose a very long rock, which I understood as meaning the Lord would restore our strong, spiritual backbone when we stand upon Him, The Rock.”
[Previously I’d noted, ‘Could the Lord be allowing increased persecutions here for the purpose of putting the spine back into Christians and making us stand up strongly?’… And Parliament has since been, and continues to be, thoroughly shaken and ripped open – do it to the media and elsewhere, Lord…Did you know that mounted, body-armoured police in Manchester interrogated a street preacher just because he was inviting people to an Easter service? Next, a hate-crimes unit visited him at home!!!]
“It wasn’t so much the unexpected and unbidden nature of the event that startled me. It was because I thought I heard the Lord say that He would rip the nation apart as easily as an old sack because of its rotten nature!! That troubled me for I considered such to be contrary to his loving nature.
But NT scriptures do speak of judgement and He gives many repeated warnings of such impending action (eg. as given this month through Lance Lambert). Yet, we must plead His remembrance of mercy and of Jesus’ sacrifice, through which comes the fullness of true blessing. All rather a profound mystery. Also, let’s not forget that the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD (Isaiah 11.2) were aspects of the Holy Spirit prophesied for the descendant of King David’s father Jesse: Jesus Christ.”
NB > the vision was subsequently offered to the church leaders at the conference for weighing yet without any response! However, upon our attending a prophecy school of three levels classes the next year at Bath, we ‘plumped’ for the masterclass led by Dr Stone. In the practical part I spoke of what I’d seen and she immediately agreed its validity.
This is a more personal letter to you as I believe it’s time to tell about a revelation that amazed me, for it came only a couple or so years after my re-birth. (And only now am I glimpsing how it may connect with an open vision of fire shooting up E Africa to Egypt.) So I’d be interested if this may strike a chord, or you get a word from the Lord – or even a check in your spirit. Kindly bear with me as this needs be a bit lengthy.
As what I saw is directly relevant to the past month’s (Jan 2011) momentously historic events (which could affect our Western nations’ economies) I’ve been hesitant to relate this without the Lord’s go-ahead. Thus, early yesterday I sought the verses about His word not returning to Him void (Isa 55.11) but my eyes fell first on Isaiah 44.24-26, as though confirming the validity of the revelation and giving clearance to write:
“I am the LORD who has made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Myself, Who foils the signs of false prophets and makes fools of diviners, Who overturns the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense, Who carries out the words of His servants and fulfils the predictions of His messengers….” (NIV)
First, some background. At the time I received this staggering ‘download’ my Baptist pastor and elders were unable to help, possibly because it came in a dream, and I was a ‘young’ Christian…It was, however, an excellent church for solid Biblical tuition and discipleship – thank you Lord.
Nonetheless, what I received proved helpful to a young missionary in France as well as to an evangelist off to Egypt. I’d put the full account in a letter, which he put on top of clothes in his suitcase. Thus, when Egyptian customs questioned him and checked inside his case he was reminded and encouraged in his mission. Here’s what I’d written:
The BBC late evening news on 6th January 1992 announced that leaders in the Muslim community wanted to establish a Muslim parliament in Britain…:
In a dream that night I saw Western Europe, mainly France and the Mediterranean, as if from the space shuttle and heard the popular worship chorus ‘All Hail The Lamb’ being sung, as if in the atmosphere! This praise was repeated many times most melodiously, as though by angelic choir ,and seemed to spiral upwards. Then I heard a very loud, authoritative voice declare,“As Communism fell, so too will Islam fall”.
I understood this as the Almighty’s declaration that Islam’s demise would come when Muslims themselves want to be free and rise up en-masse. Clearly, by referring to the events that had rippled across the Eastern Bloc to end the Soviet empire, we could expect a similar, unanticipated wave to sweep across Africa, the Middle East and Asia to the Pacific. It, too, would be like dominoes falling. In fact, some commentators are likening what’s happening now to that effect – Telegraph and Foreign Policy reports.
As a prophetical impression the dream awaited proper weighing and confirmation by my leaders. Only a few years ago I read an article by the prophet Marc Dupont in which he referred to a very similar word at about the same period. EVEN SO, if you’re with me thus far, please do weigh and check all this. [Months after this email I discovered that Lance Lambert had later that year brought the same message about God shaking the nations.]
Later yesterday I got an email from leading analyst on Middle-East affairs, Daniel Pipes, supporting that concept of change, viz:
“Something remarkable, unpredictable and unprecedented took place in recent weeks on Egyptian streets. A leaderless mass movement galvanized large numbers of ordinary citizens, as in Tunisia days earlier. It did not rage against foreigners, scapegoat minority Egyptians, nor endorse a radical ideology; instead, it demanded accountability, liberty, and prosperity. Reports reaching me from Cairo suggest a historic turn toward patriotism, inclusion, secularism, and personal responsibility.” – Washington Post
Let’s remember the Lord’s ultimate redemptive plan for Egypt, as stated in Isaiah 19 especially verses 19-25.
19 In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border…24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance”.
Pertinent to these verses is this closing statement of an email just in: “..the Egyptian identity needs to be resurrected, thereby allowing all of the nation’s sons and daughters to work together for a better future—without the dead weight of foreign encumberments, namely Arabism or, worse, Islamism.” [Assoc. Did you read in my email 10 Feb of Dutch Sheets’ word given 13 Jan about the Lord supernaturally visiting the Middle-East? Well, on Monday I bought his classic book Intercessory Prayer but didn’t dig in until last night. On fanning through I was drawn to a prophetic word about nations falling rapidly before Him (see large red asterisk in attached). I think the Lord is trying to get our serious attention, don’t you?
THEREFORE, I believe it’s a pivotal prayer-time to ask the Lord for those nations that are closed to Him to become fully open to the Gospel. The harvest fields are ripening.
For example, many Iranians realise that 30 years’ Islamic rule has utterly failed. They’re desperate for the real truth of God. Previously it took one missionary a life time to bring 10 to Christ. Yet last year just one phone call served to bring 30 to salvation! Early this morning I contemplated the implications of Jesus’ post-Resurrection instruction upon the Kingdom, especially His comments upon timing, as in Luke’s tantalising introduction to the Acts of The Apostles – and now alluded to in the close of the attachment received this afternoon.]

Buried beneath the daily dross of parliamentary piracy and ‘privilege-to-pilfer’ are momentous events concerning the Holy Land. I’ve kept close tabs with those who monitor Middle-Eastern machinations and watched a maelstrom gather momentum over the months.
Altho’ our gaze as believers is toward heavenly Jerusalem, it’s right not to overlook our God of Israel’s heart for actual Jerusalem and His covenant people. His intention and warning to the nations given through Zechariah (ch 12) still apply – and Ezekiel 38 opposition is moving into alliances. Hence, the world’s continual concern with Jerusalem and Israel.
Today, that storm comes to a climax as Prime Minister Netanyahu meets President Obama to discuss the latter’s 2-state solution for the Middle-East.
You may know that this involved attempts to turn the Arab world and Europe against Israel, and to appease Iran – even to ‘blackmailing’ Israel over its nuclear defence! (It’s reported Obama wanted to be able to use Iran’s territory for supplying US troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan.)
Also, there’s been dismay in Cairo and Riyadh over his courting the terrorist mentors in Teheran. No wonder Egypt and S.Arabia – both kept militarily informed by Israel – and five Gulf emirates turned a deaf ear to Pres. Obama’s secret (and 3rd) delegation seeking hundreds of billions dollars investment in US and global economic stimulus plans! It’s reported, however, that over the weekend a political furore gripped Washington and frayed Obama’s key policies.
The Bush and Obama administrations’ misguided intentions are to establish a terrorist-run nation within the ancient home-land of Judea/Israel. The consequences for USA in betraying its ally Israel could be severe, as when Bush wanted to trade land for peace (as collated by the accredited White House correspondent Wm Koenig). The Lord gave detailed warnings of judgement in Nov ’99 which included not only last year’s collapse of stocks but also the betrayal of Israel by Western allies!
Last week’s papal visit to the Holy Land may result in UN military units (ie. ‘armies of the nations’) in and around Jerusalem. Koenig has also noted that papal pronouncements contrary to God’s purposes for His Land have soon been followed by revelations of sexual scandal within the Roman hierarchy – so wait and watch.
United Kingdom
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter days…terrible times will come…” wrote Paul to disciple Timothy. The second letter gave many explicit details, all of which are now common-place – ie. the prophecy is fulfilled in its entirety today!
Could Paul’s reference to the prevention of marriage (at 1Tim4:3) be construed as also meaning any kind of alteration to this God-ordained covenant?
Hence, how entirely appropriate that those who’ve deliberately spurned His requirements and commands in making our laws are themselves now being turned upside down. And, as indicated in Hebrews 12:23-27 could we not expect lots more shaking? Could that visionary map I saw being ripped apart be the political map of England? I wonder…
Let’s remember Psalm 122 instruction, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you…”, that we may earnestly seek its welfare.
