Two Pentecosts show how God visits His people

Thank you to Elaine Venning for this paper and I’d add that this year’s Passover was a unique repeat of the first Passover when people were locked away during plague. So too, will this Pentecost be unique because believers have been locked out of churches and thus waiting upon the Lord in their homes and internet meetings, wherein we’ve witnessed the Holy Spirit being repeatedly active – similarly to when Jesus breathed upon His disciples in their locked meetings before Pentecost (John 20:22 – again!)

A TALE OF TWO PENTECOSTS and HOW GOD VISITS HIS PEOPLE

Our feast day of Pentecost falls on 31st May 2020 when we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and so the birth of the Church. Two days before (Friday) is the Jewish feast of the same name. That celebrates the conclusion of the Passover season with recalling the giving of the Ten Commandments and the Torah. The Jews calculate the passing years from this time and for them this is 5780. We do the same, taking our year, now 2020, from the approximate year of Jesus’ birth.

We serve the same God. Both feasts remember how God comes down from heaven to visit His people. He comes as Word and as Spirit. The first time the people of Israel were gathered together on the mountain where they heard a loud trumpet sound and experienced the smoke as of a furnace. The second time, violent wind and tongues of fire descended upon each person present. The parallels are very striking.

Sadly, a little later some of the sons of Israel turned back to idolatry. With the fear of the Lord fresh upon them, the Levites acted to uphold the holiness of God using brute force resulting in the killing of 3,000 Hebrews – see Exodus 32 v 28.  Was it a coincidence when the Spirit filled disciples spilled out onto the streets of Jerusalem 3,000 people were baptised in the Spirit to become believers?

Most of these people had come to Jerusalem for the Torah-appointed feast of Pentecost also known as ‘Shavuot’ or the Feast of Weeks. It is the second of three harvest feasts where the men of Israel were required to come to Jerusalem. That year they and their families came from across the known world – see Acts 2. Many would have been devout pilgrims bent on observing all that God commanded – Deuteronomy 16:16.

A key offering in this Feast is that of two loaves of bread made with finest wheat and leaven given in a wave offering. Scholars say this is an act of remembrance representing the Old Testament Covenant that God established with His peoples  and was made on the two tablets upon which the Ten Commandments were chiselled. It has also been seen as a prophetic fore-telling of the New Testament Covenant as well.

With the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this the New Covenant God makes, both Jew and Gentile are brought together, as in His mercy the Father fulfils the exchange Jesus purchased for those who accept His blood sacrifice with the taking away of our sins and the giving to us of His own righteousness. Thereby, God allows us to become His own dear children.

In both, God is drawing near to His people Himself and is making us Holy. He has done this by firmly making the Resurrected Jesus to be the cornerstone upon which everything holds together, the one new man, the second Adam – see Ephesians 2.

5780/2020 is double blessing time, the importance of Word and Spirit coming to God’s people. It is when the great harvest of souls can be expected to start with the fresh empowering of God’s people. It is the herald of a new age of wonders and miracles.

Like the Jews at this time we can benefit from reading the book of Ruth with its beautiful story of mercy. The harvest comes in loving kindness, with its tale of surprise acceptance and redemption.

Let us do all that He asks of us. Prepare to be witnesses!

As the Taize chant says, “wait for the Lord, whose day is near. Keep watch, take heart”.

A Directive: Urgent Word for the Global Church (GPS #47.4)

There’s no such thing as ‘coincidence,’ especially for those walking-in-the-Spirit when we realise such events are ‘God-incidents’, as though the Lord is giving messages by His GPS, or ‘Global Prophecy Signalling’ system.  When we start putting it all together we can easily see that prophecies and insights are pieces of His invisible jigsaw puzzle that takes shape before us showing aspects and perspectives upon a HUGE Heavenly Blueprint – even a road-map, as Abel Praise found.

So here are the pieces for the 47th such instance, which is interesting number as 1947 was the year of Smith-Wigglesworth’s prophecy of a major move of the Holy Spirit in Britain, as well as being my birth-year. The picture on these 47th signals or pieces is of The Church:

  • GPS 47.1 – On 29th April Tony Puccio in Tucson, USA, blogs about a tornado turning churches upside-down. (I recalled picture possibly from Revd Thomas Harry’s paper; but where and when? Found at Confirmations of 2016’s Prophetici Words for a New Season.)
  • GPS 47.2 – On 30th April J.A.C. Laferriere in Ontario, Canada, replies to my request of the 29th with details of Geraldine Fisher’s prophecy on those ‘playing church’.
  • GPS 47.3 – that weekend was the middle of fortnight drafting this dual-post on Revd Christopher Wickland of Fareham, England‘s pre-death prophecy. (Delay arising from situation of Nina having fractured a knee-cap, so posted 7th May).
  • GPS 47.4 – 1st May is very significant for Thomas Harry, pastor of Falkirk Full Gospel Church in Scotland, as told in his article linked below.
  • GPS 47.5 – message today from Abel Praise in Nigeria, simultaneously connects into 2016 -WOW!  (The emerging piece in above illustration? See next post.)

A week ago today, Thursday 7th May, pastor Thomas emails me as follows:

‘Dear Richard – Greetings, hope you are doing well. Been a long time and it truly is an amazing time we are in.

‘The Lord gave me a word for the global church and I believe it is a major confirmation of some of the prophecies we have received. Felt to share with you as we truly are on verge of greatest awakening ever.

‘Would be great if you could raise awareness and share with others as I believe it is key for the church just now. I believe it would be a major blessing for your readers and help them prepare for this historic moment that we have all longed for.

He then provides the intro to URGENT WORD FOR THE GLOBAL CHURCH

‘Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

‘I urge you to take the time to read this word which I believe to be one of the most urgent for the body of Christ in many years. We live in an unprecedented time where believer and unbelievers are trying to understand where we are and where we are going. This word has not been released lightly and is not simply another word or prophecy, but direction from the Lord that will help prepare us for the history changing moment right in front of us.

‘What is ahead is greater than the Reformation and will have a bigger impact than that. This will be a reformation of the world as we know it, not just a doctrine within Christianity. Most of the world believe this pandemic is the defining moment of 2020 and indeed recent history – it is not! It is about to fade into a low background noise and a mere footnote of history compared to what God is about to do. Our Almighty, Eternal God can never be triumphed over by a disease.

Immediately, I’m struck by Thomas referring specifically to the Lord as ‘Our Almighty, Eternal God’, which is how I addressed Him when enquiring about the origin of the pandemic, as told here.  And so I follow the link and, finding it’s a lengthy read, I print a hard-copy for reading at leisure over the weekend.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH YOUR PRINTING AND VERY CAREFULLY STUDYING AND WEIGHING THIS  URGENT WORD 

My hard-copy is covered in highlighter pen as so many points are personally poignant. I may share them soon.

AND I FIND THAT OUR ‘GPS’ WEEKEND FEATURES SIGNIFICANTLY!!  Although published on Z3News.com a week ago today, Thomas writes therein (underline mine),

Upon re-reading this early last Sunday morning I noticed Thomas’ reference to ‘We are going from outbreak to Out-Bread – where the experience of Jesus as the Bread of Life will multiply across the earth.’  Before we rise for the day we break bread and pray from Keep Praying & Bless – amazed to read Sunday’s decree: “I Am The Bread Of Life!”

THEREFORE, I GOT ‘GOD-INCIDENTAL’ CONFIRMATION OF THIS DOCUMENT!

Prophecy of great humbling, then spiritual revival in Great Britain (GPS #47.3 cont’d – F/P #165.1)

A great thank you to Carolyn Stewart for transcribing this vital message (previous post refers). Note it was received last November at a time of unprecedented political upheaval in Parliament and speaks directly into this year’s unprecedented economic situation arising from global covid-19 pandemic. And yesterday came news of Britain’s humiliation internationally, as well as scientifically. Hence inclusion of this prophecy in the catalogue of fulfilled prophecies or those coming to pass (Footnotes refer).

“I just want to share this prophetic word. I was looking through my phone and I found this. (The current date is..we are in April 2020). And as I was looking through my phone of prophecies I found this one called ‘The Humbling of Great Britain’, which I’d never put out before. I completely forgot about it. So I think in the light of what’s going on at the moment, it is very relevant. It is a warning, but it is also an encouragement of what God is doing in our land. I thought I should release this now.

“As I said, this was given in November 2019. This was just before I died as well, so it is quite a significant prophecy. And as I said, I’d forgotten all about it. THE HUMBLING OF GREAT BRITAIN (November 2019)

“I will have the people in this land in derision”, says the Lord. “I will pour out my Spirit on this land, and those people that have called to come together to conspire, to tear down My ways and My precepts and My ordinances from this land – this green and pleasant land. Mark My words: I will have them in derision. I am in the heavens and I laugh at their futility, at the things that they’re attempting to do, to close Me off and shut Me off from My own creation and so close down and shut down My people. For that is their ultimate aim. They want Me and every trace of Me eradicated from the land and from education and from every part of this society.

“But mark My words; I have plans to prosper this country, and I will bring to shame the wise. I will shame those who have so loftily held their head up – their stiff-necked heads that have said, ‘We will bring our ways! We will bring in our precepts and ordinances in this land, and we will eradicate God, and we will take Him off his throne. And we shall destroy His church.‘  But not so!

“Sadly, My own Church has failed to see how impoverished and how weakened she has become. She is literally now a remnant in this country. Yet I will do great things with a remnant. Yet when it was I can take three hundred foot-soldiers with Gideon and I can do a great deliverance, and I will do the same also in this land. I will take this small remnant of a Church that is left – those Christians that genuinely acknowledge Me as their Lord and Saviour – and will not bow the knee to Baal and to all his false practices and customs in respect to the laws that are now passing in this land.

“Mark My words, punishment will come for the sins that have covered this land. But the punishment, as I always punished Israel in times past, was so that it may bring them to repentance and may bring healing to their land; that when the people are humbled they would pray to me and I would turn in My mercy, I would forgive them their sins and I would then heal their land. I am going to bring punishment to this nation – a time of humbling – but this punishment is not to destroy this nation. This punishment is to humble her and to chastise her, that she may repent of her wicked ways and turn back to Me.

“There will not be many nations in the days ahead that will be permitted to have what this nation will be permitted. You will have a grace and a favour upon you which many other nations will not be given because I have plans and purposes for this country. And even though My own people have been faithless harlots towards Me, know this; that your faithlessness will only go to prove My faithfulness. I will be faithful to My Covenant and to My Word, and I will bring about My ways and My means for this country, and I will pour out My Spirit. And I will bring Revival, but it will not be like any revival that has been before. It will be uncontainable; it will be uncontrollable; and the world will HATE it because it will be so strong and it will be so powerful that they cannot ignore it.

“In times past they’ve been able to turn a blind eye to the things of My Spirit, but in these days everyone will know about it, everybody will know about it. And the same sun that melts the ice also hardens the clay, and men will just drop into two distinct camps: those that love Me and those that absolutely hate Me. This is why in many respects these days are dangerous days, because it will polarize people, in ways stronger than they are now; but you will know the righteous and you will know the evil.

“But mark My words, I will do something wonderful with this country; I will restore law and order to this country. This country has become lawless and it has no more order to it. And your Houses of Parliament are an example of the state of your nation, of the division of your nation, of the complexities of your nation. The wickedness and the hardness of heart and the blindness and arrogance of your nation are all set to display, for all the world to see in your own Houses of Parliament. But I am going to do a new thing. And many men will lay down their crowns and place down their swords before Me and repent and give their lives to me. And many powerful men and women who vehemently hate My name, will come to know Me and love My name.

“And some Christians might go, ‘Why, why Lord did you save them? They’re the ones who brought such depravity to our nation. Why did you allow it?’  Because that’s My grace, that’s My mercy, and the very ones that brought in those laws, I will turn into trophies of grace to make the enemy despised in his own camp, for I will make those who passed those wicked laws be the ones that undo them, for they will reveal the secrets and the dark intent and heart of sinful wicked flesh. And the world or this country at least, will look on in horror at the things that they’ve released and allowed in this country, and they will be rescinded and retracted.

“My people, you need to do this: you need to be spending these hours – because it is only hours – you need to be spending these hours in prayer; you need to be spending these hours on your knees; you need to be spending this time in the Word, learning from Me, learning from My Spirit and I will teach you many wonderful things. But this is the time, because there are many bridesmaids out there that do not have enough oil in their lamp and you need to get it in your lamp. No-one can part-exchange their life of intimacy with Me to those that have no intimacy with Me. This is your chance; now is the time to do it, for in the humbling that’s coming – this wind of change that’s going to blow through this land – it’s going to be a difficult time for this nation. It will not be a long time, but the depth of the punishment that will come will be severe, even though it will only be for a short time. It was like when I said to King David, “You can have three years of this, three months of that, or three days of the other”.

“This will be a short punishment but it will be a deep punishment; a deep chastisement to this nation. And I will humble this nation and I will turn her around. And many who are your enemies in these days will become your friends and neighbours in the days to come.

“So be prepared, be encouraged but be warned; this is not going to be an easy day that is coming, it is going to be a difficult day, a difficult time for this nation. Many Christians will cry out, ‘Why did I allow such things to come to this nation?’ But in part, everyone in this nation is responsible for the punishments that are coming.

“There is much worldliness in My Body, much worldliness in My Church, much worldliness in the mindset of Christians, much worldliness in the teachings of the Church! And the teachings of the Church have lost their anchor. They have apostasised; they have become an apostate church, in that they’ve drifted away from the truth of scripture and have chosen to allow the doctrines of men to infiltrate the teachings of the Church. The sacred scriptures should never be changed, never diluted, never touched, never altered, for they sacred and they are from the throne room of heaven itself. How dare man place his DNA and his ideas over that which is heavenly and beyond?

“So take heart to these words and this warning. Be blessed, be encouraged and get ready, for the time is now when the humbling must begin. And it will be short but long. It will be a short period of time but it will feel like the longest period of time, for it will be very intense. And for a period of three years a time of great humbling will come upon this nation, and it will be a heavy three years, a very difficult three years.

“But then things will change, things will turn, and you will go from Winter to Spring, Spring to Summer, Summer into Harvest time.”

    ‘But before we get to the meat, let us briefly chew over the cautionary tale that can be cleaved from the career of Prof Ferguson. He has a track record of making wildly inaccurate projections, for example that BSE would kill 150,000 people (the real figure was fewer than 200)…’

Holy Fire caught during church video meeting

Three weeks after our first video meeting with Catch The Fire Farnborough, as told in this confirmation of the establishing of ‘new wineskin’ church, pastor Bird asked one of the attendees to read a scripture he’d submitted as being relevant to this new church:

The Coming Glory of God’s House (NKJV – BibleGateway)

2 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month, the word of the Lord came [a]by Haggai the prophet, saying: 2 ‘Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying: 3 “Who is left among you who saw this [b]temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? 4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,” says the Lord; “and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,” says the Lord, “and work; for I am with you,” says the Lord of hosts. 5 “According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!”

I’m amazed that once again a scripture brought to our attention had been highlighted in my old Bible, as in the attached photo. This was probably done in connection with having heard “Hebrews 12” over 29 yrs ago and when I highlighted v 26 about ‘The Shaking’, which is why I’ve oft referred to it when blogging (see tag). Let the True Prophets of God arise over nations – Veronika West

How ‘God-incidental’ that in responding to reader Mary’s comment I felt prompted to stick Lana Vawser’s prophecy of February 2016 on coals of fire on prophets’ heads to this blog’s homepage. A hour ago Veronika posted this on Ignite Ireland Ministries.

Moreover, it fits a scripture connected to judgement beginning at the house of God that I’d homed in on days ago: from 1 Peter 4:17 > Malachi 3:11, NKJV: “I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes” (a demon I’d seen many decades ago!):

“LET THE TRUE PROPHETS ARISE OVER THE NATIONS WITH THE SOUND OF THE ROAR OF REDEMPTION AND RESURRECTION POWER IN THEIR MOUTHS AND LET THE VOICE OF THE LYING DEVOURER BE SILENCED”….! These are the words I heard this morning as I went before the Lord….!

In prayer this morning I felt such a tangible weight of the Spirit fear, grief, despair and deep discouragement covering the Nations, I saw in the Spirit many Nations that were covered by a thick heavy cloak of darkness and I saw the words, “DEMONIC OPPRESSION” ,….and then I heard these words, “HOPE DEFERRED HAS MADE THE HEARTS OF MANY SICK”…!

Then I saw many people across the Nations sitting indoors with a yoke of heaviness around their necks and the voices of familiar spirits were whispering in their ears, lies and more lies were being spoken over them and then I heard the Spirit say, “Look many are standing on the threshold of their greatest breakthrough…many are on the very cusp of the dreams and visions they have carried for decades being made fully manifest… but! listen!”…. INTRODUCTION – THE SITUATION (April 2020)

Covid-19 is a virulent and pitiless virus which is sweeping across the world. So far, it is an uncontrollable pestilence: it is a law unto itself. It advances like a desert wind, ignoring those in authority and all the usual constraints that govern inter-national relations. It destroys people and livelihoods, undermines governments and economies and is testing the very foundations of our way of life and our values.

It is not localised, or in some way compartmentalised, as Ebola was, or forest fires are, or tsunamis, or earthquakes. It cannot be ignored, ridiculed or responded to half-heartedly, as global warming has been.

Is massive catch of fish 4 months ago in the English Channel a prophetic sign?

Almost three weeks ago I received an unusual report from Devon and eventually was able to acknowledge and thank ‘Valerie’, asking permission to publish in due course if the time should become available. Over Holy Weekend I realised it’s a suitable follow-up to the scheduled posts on the miraculous catch of 153 fish by Jesus’ disciples. (If you’ve not yet read them, please do so as soon as you’re able).

‘Valerie’ writes on 27th March and encourages us to weigh and pray about this (note, emphases are mine):

‘Your site has taken me up higher and in deeper with the Lord. My husband and I are in a Local HOP (inspired by Ffald-y-Brenin) and members at an Anglican church. We would not say we have the gift of prophecy as such, but believe we have witnessed a prophetic sign. The story below has been submitted to FYB and to local church leaders. This morning, I felt the Spirit prompt me to send it on to you also. The text below was dated 18th December 2019. [RB: note, almost 4 months ago.]

‘Three weeks ago, we were watching the BBC TV news report (on Spotlight SW) about the record-breaking haul of fish at Brixham, Devon. As we watched it, we both experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit upon us and sensed deep within that this was the Lord speaking a word of encouragement to the local churches and to the nation.

‘The skipper being interviewed was Adam Cowan-Dickie, father of Luke Cowan-Dickie who plays rugby for Exeter Chiefs and for England. In the 3rd week of November (2019) his trawler, Margaret of Ladram, had four consecutive days of their nets completely full of fish. The unusual thing is they were all Dover Soles on all four days. Yes, they were all soles / ‘souls’. Apparently, this would be exceptional if it happened on just one day, as Dover Sole usually make up around 17% of any one catch. It was an historic, record breaking event for the port of Brixham and the catch was very valuable indeed – worth £126,000.

‘The same week I met a chap who knew a lot about fishing and I mentioned the story to him. He told me about this species of fish. He said they lie flat on the seabed in the silt and mud and they prefer darkness to light which is why they are more active at night. To catch them, they need to be raised up out of their murky habitat by the trawl nets. He agreed it was a miraculous event.

‘Apparently, the skipper had been waiting for the opportunity to fish in those beds for a little while, hoping no-one would come in and snatch away all the soles, but he had no idea when he put down the nets that they would be filled right up – and 4 days in a row! I wondered about the number 4 (4 months /years? 4 nations of the UK? 4 days before Lazarus was raised?) but have no clarity on that.

‘Our impression is that a Kingdom harvest is ready and waiting to be brought in.

‘I leave this with you to test and weigh up before the Lord (and) acknowledge it is not quite the usual style of prophecy on your site!’

Now my reply was dated 7th April and the next day Neil Thomson asked at the foot of Veronika West’s vision of an angel at No.10 Downing St about the ‘short time’ in office that she’d prophesied for Boris Johnson after winning the general election. I got a prompt response and shared my own thoughts on the matter, which I hope to blog on soon. Veronika had been reminded of this only the previous day, 7th April, upon seeing the Daily Mirror headline shown here >>>

So it would seem that ‘Valerie’ makes a very valid point about the significance of four months December 2019 to April 2020!  Therefore, in my opinion, this massive catch of fish does signify an approaching massive catch of souls! How say you?

It is with slight trepidation that I post a story about the influence of prayer on the recovery of a man in Peterborough from the coronavirus – it is understandable that people will have questions about how faith in God combines with a pandemic like the one we face right now, and I would be very glad to open a dialogue with anyone who wanted to explore such questions (email me, or comment below).

I believe in a God who heals – not all of the time, as the Bible tells us the kingdom of God has not fully come on earth yet (or why would Jesus tell us to pray “Your kingdom come”) – but even so, a God who heals frequently in response to prayer. These healings can be terminal cancer, a twisted ankle, and also coronavirus.

Birth of ‘New wineskin’ church confirmed by Veronika West prophecy (GPS #45.1)

Further to my reference in the previous post to Catch The Fire in Farnborough, Hants, the senior leader Revd Christopher Bird aims to have its official launch in September. Before then, a ‘thought for the day’ and a weekly teaching from Christopher at 7pm every Sunday is ‘live’ on its Facebook page.

Nina and I were invited to join its second weekly video meeting last Wednesday evening and got online just in time to hear Christopher outlining this new church’s DNA, viz:

    • committed to welcoming the presence of God;
    • being disciples who make disciples, and
    • cultivating a true sense of family.

On the first point he taught about the meaning of and necessity for new wineskins and how this applies to churches, and as an example referred to Moses’ encounter of the Glory of God. On being told to “Lead these people” Moses reacted that he’d not been told whom God would send with him and quoting the Lord, “I know you by name and You have found favour with me” asked, “If you are pleased with me, teach me Your ways so I may know You and continue to find favour with You…” Exodus 33:13 NIV).

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.”  The rest of the passage is conversation about God’s Presence, and then He showed Moses His Glory!!!  

My finger remained in those pages when we turned to the Gospels but I got impelled to go back and noted Exod 34:10 as being what the Lord is promising us today!

The Covenant Renewed

10 And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do [a]marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. SO, this morning I find that Veronika West has published a confirmation on her ministry Facebook(emphases mine):

‘Ps; I will let you into a conversation I had with a dear friend who shared with me that the Lord had given her the word “FUNNEL” while she was praying…and so she asked if I had some insights…and this was what the Lord showed me;

“The funnel is so interesting, I thought straight away of the NARROW PLACE…a PLACE OF BIRTHING….! Also A TIME WHERE THINGS ARE BEING BROUGHT TO A HEAD/POINT!!!  A place of DIVINE CONVERGENCE…!

‘A Time of FRESH INFILLING, OUTPOURING AND RELEASE. I hear the words, “A SEASON OF DIVINE DECANTING”… gradually pour (wine, port, or another liquid) from one container into another, typically in order to separate out sediment.

‘Often a FUNNEL IS USED TO DECANT WINE….! I believe this is a TIME OF DIVINE SEPARATION, THE SEDIMENT AND IMPURITIES ARE BEING REMOVED….’NO MORE MIXTURE’…EVERYTHING DEFILED AND UNCLEAN MUST BE DONE AWAY WITH.

‘I SEE A HOLY PURITY COMING FORTH IN THE EARTH….A PURE AND UNDEFILED MOVEMENT OF THE SPIRIT THAT WILL REDEFINE MINISTRIES FOREVER…HE IS REPOSITIONING AND REALIGNING THOSE WHO HAVE ‘CLEAN HANDS AND PURE HEARTS’ WITH ‘A NEW WINE SKIN MOVEMENT’ THAT IS BEING BIRTHED IN THE EARTH.

‘There is a “DIVINE DECANTING TAKING PLACE, A DIVINE EXCHANGE…AND A SUPERNATURAL TRANSFORMATION”…!!

‘I hear the words, “NEW WINESKIN MINISTRIES ARE NOW BEING BIRTHED IN THE EARTH …!

I don’t get time to watch video links that folks kindly send me, but this one is highly recommended. So I suggest allocating an hour to watch and consider will be time well spent.

We’re not, admittedly, fans of American shows, BUT this one’s important. It was brought to my attention by a reader and contributor to this blog, Dave Hood, but being extremely busy I got to hear the early minutes only whilst tapping on my keys. Others mentioned it and I chatted about the first speaker’s claims with members of the Prophetic Releasers Fbk group, and so I intended taking time out to watch. But a couple of days later I got spurred into making it a priority, and the way that was done can only be of the Lord..!

In video conference for those interested in a new Catch The Fire church planned for Farnborough, its leader Christopher Bird drew attention to a vision we’d both had, and his wife Rachel added that Emma Stark of Glasgow Prophetic Centre had also had a similar one – and then referred to that video I’d yet to watch!

In fact, what Emma witnessed was the second confirmation in chronological sequence of the original vision a pastor in Reading, Berkshire, had 30 years ago. 

2ND CONFIRMATION OF VISION

Initially, the video caught my attention when Tracy Cook began talking about a dream two months ago about the suspicious source of ‘Chinese Flu’ and the subsequent world-wide Shaking. (I stopped there and didn’t hear the remainder.)

At 31:20 min mark Sid Roth tasks Emma for more of her thoughts on what we can do about the spirit of fear associated with this crisis; but first she qualifies her reply:

“I think a new breed of church is going to emerge and it’s going to be a post-Pentecostal and a post-Charismatic church; it’s not going to look like any version of church that we would say should be our ‘go-to’ aim. In actual fact, we’re going to enter the days of the Church of Holy Power, and that’s what’s going to be established at the end of this Shaking.

“Last year I was on my face in Africa in prayer, and I heard a bomb going off in the spirit realm. (Elsewhere, she describes it as a ‘terrifyingly awesome sound.’)  You know, I grew up in Northern Ireland so I’m used to hearing bombs in the natural. But this was a bomb in the spirit realm, and I said to God, “What have You done?”

He said, “Watch!” and the spray of this heavenly-sent bomb covered the entire globe and the spray started to land on the flesh of men and it started to have an effect on their skin and their skin started to melt and I said to God, “What are You doing” and He said,

“I’m making sure that it is not about one man, it is not about one ministry. I’m making sure that it’s not about ego. I’m making sure that I’m going to shake people so that all that is fleshly in them disintegrates. And on the back of that I will re-fire My Church with Holy Power.”

“And so when we actually come back to regather, we’re going to find churches move in a greater demonstration of the power of God than ever had before, but we have to deal right now with this fear situation…”

I now recall our first visit 6-7 years ago to the church pastor Bird had moved to, not too far from us. (Nina had witnessed the Birds’ prophetic gifting in action at a lady’s house group.) As worship started at that church I suddenly had an open vision of a huge flame of fire shoot out into the hall from above the small band. 

Some may recall Jigsaw Pieces Portray 27th June’s Significance in Prophecy in which I recount my own and pastor Bird’s experiences of a spiritual ‘atom bomb’, but didn’t have the finer details Emma brought. Here are those relevant ‘pieces’…

3RD CONFIRMATION (Pastor’s ‘atomic bomb’)

In referring to that conference at the start of Sunday’s service at FBC, Revd Christopher Bird described it as being like an “atomic bomb” in introducing theology students to the Holy Spirit’s practical, power ministry.  Now, he had my complete attention because I’d blogged about having seen one of those explode in a vision 27 years ago today, as told when inviting readers to February’s One Voice prophecy conference (Bringing the Glorious Word of the Lord to the Nation).

Maybe Chris was referring to my vision of golden rainfall and exploding atomic bomb, because I’d mentioned it in my email inviting him to the One Voice event?

Afterwards therefore, I asked Chris why he’d used those words and he said he’d seen a picture in his morning prayers that developed into an atomic explosion of God’s glory across our nation!  However, he apologised for NOT having read my email yet – and then thanked me because I was confirming what he’d seen that morning! Therefore, it must surely be a God thing!!

1ST CONFIRMATION (My vision and original)

In other words, Chris directly confirmed the vision I’d had as he hadn’t read my account from my first years as a new believer at Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist), which reads:

‘At a very early Pangbourne prayer morning on 27 June 1992 I saw “a waterfall of golden rain which became like a nuclear bomb but in reverse”. When I later told associate pastor David about this he expressed keen interest in view of the vision of liquid fire he’d previously seen over Tilehurst (ie. in 1980s).

‘What particularly impresses me about this picture was that the golden rain (flames?) suddenly condensed into a focal point and there followed a brilliant flash of light. In films of nuclear bombs I’ve seen, the immense flash was followed by fire.

‘Regret I’ve not got any relevant scripture for this but believe it may relate to TFC. Like that widespread ‘rain’, we’ve reverted into a more compact unit, or operation. Perhaps the next phase is for the Lord to ignite us into a powerful instrument, such that His light will go off like a mighty bomb.’

Subsequent considerations connected that vision to meetings held in late 1990s along the Thames Valley and prayers for God’s glory to flow through them into London.  Now however, as emphasised by this Hampshire minister, that glory explosion won’t be localised but will affect the whole nation!  But I was yet to learn of Emma’s ‘bomb’…

Timing of Brexit & tipping point for UK and EU nations – Veronika West (FP #163 & GPS #44)

TIMING IS EVERYTHING, as we well know by now. The past month my online action-list continued with a dozen items in the pipeline, but at long last I got a February item on Brexit blogged yesterday together with the latest. Neil MacKereth quickly commented about the ‘fortuitous’ timing of leaving the EU, otherwise it would have been seriously hampered by the current global situation. Also last night, Veronika West contacted me and kindly permits my publishing her message about the very same matter:

‘Richard, I felt to share this word with you, I think you have shared it once on your Website but I could be mistaken. As I re-read it yesterday I felt it was significant in light of the unfolding situation…! Furthermore I believe that it’s no coincidence with the timing of our LEAVING THE EU and the timing of this virus which is sweeping through Europe.

‘Much to pray about and WE CRY MERCY OVER THE NATIONS!!! POWERFUL DREAM CONCERNING MANY NATIONS OF EUROPE….’

‘WATCH AND PRAY OVER THE HARVEST FIELDS OF EUROPE, WATCH AND BE READY! FOR THE GNAWING LOCUSTS, SWARMING LOCUSTS, CREEPING AND STRIPPING LOCUSTS HAVE BEEN UNLEASHED FROM THE BOWELS OF HELL AND THEY SHALL DEVOUR AND DEVASTATE THE LAND”!

‘A few days ago during a 7-day fast [June 2018], I had a very powerful dream that I believe speaks to the United Kingdom, BREXIT, the EU and many Nations of Europe. Now in this clear and vivid dream I was standing high above the centre of Europe. Now in the dream as I looked down at the different countries of Europe my eyes were immediately drawn to what looked like a large black cloud in the shape of a man’s hand rising from the depths of the sea. Now as I remained watching in the dream, I saw that the large black cloud was moving quickly and rapidly increasing in size. I watched as the hand grew larger and larger and I saw the five fingers of the hand grow longer and longer. Now in the dream I could clearly see the large black hand fast approaching the centre of Europe. Now as I stayed watching, suddenly I saw the fingers of the hand begin to write these words upon the landscape of Europe,

“MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN”!,

Then I heard these words, “EUROPE, EUROPE WAKE UP AND WAIL, RETURN AND REPENT FOR THE DAYS OF YOUR REIGN HAVE BEEN NUMBERED, YOU HAVE BEEN WEIGHED ON THE SCALES AND FOUND WANTING, YOUR KINGDOM WILL BE DIVIDED FOR YOU HAVE EATEN THE DELICACIES OF DARKNESS AND WITCHCRAFT AND THE DOOR TO DEATH AND DESTRUCTION HAS BEEN OPENED WIDE OVER THE LAND”, says the Spirit of God.

“EUROPE, EUROPE, WATCH AND PRAY OVER THE HARVEST FIELDS, FOR THE LOCUSTS ARE NOW INVADING, THE GNAWING LOCUSTS, THE SWARMING LOCUSTS, THE CREEPING LOCUSTS AND THE STRIPPING LOCUSTS SHALL MULTIPLY AND INCREASE. WATCH! FOR DARKNESS INCREASES AS THE HAND OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION NOW MOVES UPON THE WATERS OF THE SEA AND LAND”, says the Spirit of God.

As I heard those words in the spirit realm going forth across the land, I began to CRY OUT FOR GOD’S MERCY, MERCY, MERCY IN THE MIDST OF JUDGEMENT OVER EUROPE..!

‘Then the dream suddenly shifted and I found myself standing over the land of the United Kingdom and I saw an ANCIENT DOOR OPEN WIDE OVER THE NATION, as I looked at the door I saw these words, ‘FIRE EXIT’, written upon its mantel, now as I looked at the words, ‘FIRE EXIT’, I saw the number (91) deeply engraved into the wood of the door, immediately the Holy Spirit whispered to me, “Psalm 91”, then I heard these words,

“MY BELOVED GREAT BRITAIN, WATCH! FOR A DOOR OF DELIVERANCE NOW OPENS UP BEFORE YOU, MY MERCY NOW MAKES A WAY WHERE THERE SEEMED NO WAY, MY BELOVED, FOR SURELY I TELL YOU I AM THE DOOR THAT LEADS TO LIFE, COME AND ENTER IN QUICKLY, FOR NOW IS THE TIME, NOW IS THE SEASON, FOR THE DOOR THAT LEADS TO DOUBLE RESTORATION AND RESTITUTION STANDS OPEN BEFORE YOU THIS DAY”! (The Dream Ended)…!

Upon my responding to her message of last night, Veronika adds this PostScript:

‘Today I have mobilised our War Room and they are crying out for Europe we believe that many Nations are at a TIPPING POINT, STANDING IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION, I firmly believe that we are going to SEE GOD ARISE AND SCATTER HIS ENEMIES. There is battle raging over the Kingdom Destiny of many Nations in Europe, THE BLACK HORSE AND THE RIDER WHO HOLDS THE SCALES ARE NOW GALLOPING ACROSS THE NATIONS…!

It’s a sobering time yet a most exciting time, a few days ago I was shown a WOMB OF A HEAVILY PREGNANT WOMAN OVER THE NATIONS…and suddenly TWO RIVERS BURST FORTH UPON THE NATIONS, ONE WAS BLOOD-RED AND ONE WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR AND I heard these words,

“FROM HIS SIDE FLOWED TWO RIVERS, ONE THE CARRIES RESURRECTION POWER AND THE OTHER CLEANSING POWER, WATCH AS MY RIVERS OF CLEANSING BURST FORTH TO PURIFY THE NATIONS, WATCH AS MY RIVER OF RESURRECTION POWER BURST FORTH TO RENEW, REVIVE AND REFORM THE NATIONS, FOR OUT OF THE WOMB WILL COME FORTH THE WONDERS OF MY GLORY LIKE NEVER SEEN OR EXPERIENCED BEFORE. BEHOLD! THE TIME OF BIRTHING IS NOW”…!

On Veronika’s Ignite Ireland Ministry

Upon drawing Veronika’s attention to yesterday’s post First Brexit and now Pandemic, Deepens the Cracks and Splits EU with Neil’s comment, she notes:

‘Yes!!! Concerning timing I felt that was highlighted to me yesterday as Holy Spirit took me back to this word. The timing of our EXIT FROM EU AND THE VIRUS OUTBREAK IS BY NO MEANS COINCIDENTAL BUT IT’S THE DIVINE GRACE OF GOD THAT HAS BEEN SHOWN TO OUR NATION…!’

Footnote: I queried the apparent dichotomy between the picture of a womb and aural words “His side”. Veronika confirmed the latter is correct for that’s what she did hear. In a clear insight many years ago about the Crucifixion I understood that, contrary to the usual claim about Pentecost being the birth of the Church, it was born when a spear pierced Jesus side and blood and water burst forth, as in childbirth! It was witnessed by His close disciple John, as in his Gospel account and expanded upon in his first letter:

2019 prophecy of new life out of national paralysis revisited (F/P #161)

Veronika West has revisited a word she brought last year, which most folk regarded as clearly relating to the paralysed state of parliamentary government within Britain.

However, on Tuesday she notes, “Interesting to read it now in context of LOCKDOWNS AND THE SUSPENSION OF ALL GATHERINGS” and republished on her Facebook.

I heard the spirit say, “Some will say the nation has become paralysed and stuck by divisions and indecision.

“But I say, no!!  This nation is not in a state of paralysis or stagnation, but rather a state of temporary suspension, yes!

“A divine delay as My Spirit now moves upon the hands of the clock that govern Time over this land, yes!

“So watch and pray, for it is but for a moment of time, a kairos moment, look and see for a small window now stands open before this nation, ha!!

Interesting how the Lord’s timing and connections play out!

This morning I received Yinka Oyekan’s permission to publish his Facebook posting of Monday. Also in my in-tray was a notification of the video of pastor Bird’s report upon a Hindu mother and daughter being healed and delivered during his ministry overseas. If you’ve read my PS and link therein to a 2nd and 3rd ‘jigsaw piece’, you’ll appreciate the background between those items and Yinka’s report on upside-down laws, as below.:

THE SCALES ARE UNBALANCED

On Wednesday I took a few minutes to pray in the afternoon and in that prayer time I felt a clear word from heaven;

“Watch the gates, the trickle will become a stream, the stream will become a river.”

I had been praying about the moral decline in the nation, but in that time I had a vision, the Lord pointed to an amazing grand cathedral, and as this image of this beautiful church building flashed before me. the Lord redirected me to pray instead for the moral state of the church. – I then had a vision of the gates of churches opening:

I saw individuals walking out of churches looking confused and the words came to me they are like sheep without a shepherd, harassed and malnourished.

The sense I got was that if the church will repent then the Lord’s mercy will bring a great healing in the land.

Then I saw scales and the justice system, the scales seemed unbalanced and I heard a whisper,

“I have this against your lawmakers, they oppress truth and stifle freedom. Yet they say they uphold truth and defend freedom. If your parliaments will not repent, a greater knot than Brexit will be visited upon you. You will tie yourselves in knots with your own legislation. You will say ‘up’ when it comes to laws governing people’s perception of who they are, but it will feel like ‘down’; you will say ‘down’ but your laws will say ‘up’, you will confuse your citizens with the absurdity of the laws you are passing. These laws will haunt you. Instead of listening to Me, you have chosen your own path. They will be a chain around your neck.You will pay for the harm you have done to your children.”

But I got a sense that the judgement of the Lord is on hold for a season because of a wave of prayer.

I prayed for mercy for all of us especially the mainline denominations and key church streams. But I will watch with great interest to see what is about to happen to those denominations and the legislative parliaments in our Land.

Again we consider the imminent manifestation of the harvest of the wheat and tares, with its direct relevance to my calling to write on End-times (as herein), as well as our taking a Stand upon the Rock of Christ emerging in Britain (2004 open vision).  Revival? Not yet!

As for all prophetical postings, this is to be weighed with the Lord and against His Word.

Leisa’s email arrived soon after booting up my pc today, and wherein she writes:  ‘Early this morning, the Lord gave me clarification in regards to the international issues that are presently challenging the Earth, and I wanted to share His Words with you and the readers:

“Pride goes before destruction,” says the Lord, “and I am allowing a scattering of seeds of disease and calamity to come upon the proud and the haughty, across the nations of the earth who torment and scoff at the innocent and those that call upon My Name. For my Sovereign Hand shall bring protection to My Faithful Ones, and shall block the actions of the evil one as I sweep many of this wicked generation away in this next season. For the 2020’s shall not be a global outpouring of My Spirit, as many suppose, but rather a clearing out of evil and a making room for the positioning of My Remnant, with lightening bursts of My Spirit reflecting My Power released to those who want to serve me with their whole hearts. I am sifting the wheat from the chaff,” says the Lord, “and it is time to stand up and be counted in these last days, and become ready for the harvest. “The clay, the gold and the precious living stones shall come together and shall become a vessel of honour upon The Altar and a carrier of the New Wine among the nations, for a great outpouring has begun!”

In the dream I saw a large clay pot that was completely broken and shattered.

HARVEST

‘Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when the ploughman shall overtake the reaper’ (Amos 9:13)

We declare across this land, this is the day of revival and awakening, and we thank God for all those who have already come to know Him in this season, for the miracles that have taken place and the resources already released. Now, in the Name of Jesus, we speak increase and multiplication and we call God’s people into a revelation of the openness upon the land.

We come into agreement with God’s word that we are anointed...“to preach good tidings to the poor … to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” 

In Jesus’ Name, we call forth salvations, we call forth Jesus-centred conversations, we call forth prophetic encounters, dreams and visions, and we declare our nation will not miss the day of His visitation. (Isaiah 61:1)

Even as God is releasing many ministries within the church, we declare this is a new season of the Evangelist and we call forth those who will speak to individuals and we call forth those who will speak to the crowds. We declare God’s people will speak His word with fresh faith, authenticity, compassion and urgency, as the revelation of His justice, mercy and goodness increases upon them; that God’s word will go out with boldness and clarity, yet sensitivity and wisdom, and the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ be heard.

We declare that grace and truth come through Jesus Christ and we speak the revelation of Jesus into the lives of individuals, families, communities and all cultures in our land.

THE REVIVAL PROPHECIES

Britain’s Christians have heard promises of future revival coming to the nation for generations, yet the long wait continues.

Are we now to give up hoping for a turnaround in church decline?

Can we really expect a revival to come suddenly, as it did in 1904-1905 in Wales, when hundreds of thousands were saved in a few years, swelling the congregations and igniting other revivals worldwide

The 20th-Century church in Britain saw a steady decline with membership as a proportion of the population shrinking ever decade since World War I. In a mere generation, Britain went from being a missionary sending nation to a mission-field. Foreign evangelists such as Billy Graham and Louis Palau took up the mantle for converting the nation through stadium evangelism. Even so, many foreign evangelists were not always received whole-heartedly by the British churches, who had failed to raise up soul winners themselves. It is noted that by international standards Britain had also been lagging behind other English speaking nations, by failing to encourage the voices of prophets. We are beginning to catch up in recent years, but as with evangelism owe much to the influence of other nations.

For many, it goes against the grain to assume that today’s prophecy can take longer than a generation to be completed. Most expect prophecies to unfold in their lifetime or soon after. The key points from prophecies below show that although incomplete, these words are already in advanced progress to being fulfilled. This is an indication that the prophesied harvest of souls cannot be too far off.
