Petition for censure and removal of provost Kelvin Holdsworth for calling for SSM prayer

Here’s the most spiritually and morally offensive issue that I’ve ever come across – it’s tantamount to telling Christians to practise witchcraft!! 

Voice for Justice UK are calling upon Christians and others to petition the Archbishop of Canterbury, and I strongly urge and encourage you to join me in signing:

‘Voice for Justice has issued the following request to petition for the immediate censure and removal from office of ‘Very Rev’ Kelvin Holdsworth, Senior Anglican Minister Kelvin Holdsworth, homosexual Provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. He calls for Christians to pray for Prince George to be gay, in order to force the Church of England to support same-sex marriage.

‘He reportedly said that if the future monarch and supreme head of the Church of England was himself gay, and wanted a same-sex marriage, ‘it would be the fastest way to force the Church of England to allow gay people to wed’ (click Independent for report).

‘Under pressure from secular and LGBT activists, the modern cultural climate already draws no distinction between heterosexual and homosexual orientation. But, while affirming the right to freedom of choice for all, we respectfully point out that the Bible, on which the Church is founded, is clear in prohibiting all forms of homosexuality as a sin.

‘The message of the Bible is, and always has been, clear: God unreservedly loves the sinner, but hates sin.

‘The approval and normalization of what in the Bible is branded sin is, therefore, a betrayal of faith. More disturbingly, imploring people to pray along the lines advocated by Provost Holdsworth, calling for an individual to embrace a life of sin, amounts to a curse.

‘Condemnation of sin, while unreservedly loving the sinner, is at the heart of the Christian Gospel, and the reason why Christ was crucified – taking upon himself our sin in order to free us from the hold of the devil (eternal death) and restore us to right relationship with God (eternal Life). At no point did Christ say that sin did not matter.

‘All of us are sinners, and all of us stand in need of the grace of God, made available in Christ. Attempting to rewrite the Bible, or rebrand ‘sin’ as good serves only to lock the sinner into a destructive pattern of behaviour that by definition cannot bring happiness and that separates the individual from God, leading to eternal death.

‘We call for the Church of England to reaffirm its adherence to traditional Christian doctrine, as set down in the Bible, and for the immediate removal from office of Provost Holdsworth.

First Sunday of Advent and a personal foretaste of Jesus’ return

Yesterday, Sunday 3rd December, saw the celebration of the First Sunday of Advent 2017. It’s always highly nostalgic to me because of a life-changing dream in 1989 that brought a totally unexpected and radical encounter with Jesus Christ.

FIRST & SECOND ADVENTS

The First Advent was when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea 2,000 years ago. The four weeks leading into Christmas are designated within the church calendar as Advent, and start the church year.  In traditional churches the scriptural readings for the First Sunday in Advent are usually on the glorious return of Jesus Christ to rule and reign on earth, known as the Second Advent.

My encounter featured two highly personal aspects of my life; thereby validating the experience as real, not imaginary. Amazingly, both validations are directly related to the First and Second Advents and enhanced my interest in End-Times, by which I’d been figuratively grabbed by an Invisible Hand only a few years earlier.

Six years ago this week, soon after launching this blog, I posted details of the encounter – one that gave a personal foretaste of the Second Advent!

One aspect I haven’t previously referred to, however, now needs highlighting in view of current events I must blog about. So it’s important for you, my reader, to appreciate the wider grounds upon which I take my stand AND call fellow disciples of Christ to TAKE A STAND.:

THE VISITATION

The brief account On a Trapdoor into Hell – Jesus Swoops to the Rescue tells the full story.

My background was one of deep involvement in New Age, Gnostic and occultic notions with meditational and mystical practices. Although not a practitioner, I was nevertheless  aware of the principles of witchcraft. Those practices had led to some unusual ‘psychic’ dreams, but none whatsoever were like this one.

This dream’s sudden ‘gearing up’ into the supernatural reality of demonic and angelic activity and the appearance of Jesus Christ above the clouds and His fast descent towards me, startlingly made me conscience-stricken and realise the truth of judgement – in great dread, mine was about to happen NOW!  And because of my sins I was now about to be dropped right into Hell – so in terror I just had to hide from HIM!  (And I did…but!)

Later, I understand that terror had been ‘the fear of God’ brought through Holy Spirit in convicting me of my sinfulness (ie. wrongdoing) and, thus, preparing me to receive God’s grace (ie. undeserved favour).

However, only this weekend have I realised another scriptural relevance of that fear – and that I’D BEEN BLESSED WITH A FORETASTE OF THINGS TO COME! 

APOCALYPSE – THE SIXTH SEAL OPENS:

‘The kings of the earth, the great men, the rich, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in caves and in the rocks of the mountains and said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great and day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Rev6:15-17)

My reaction to that visitation from Jesus very closely matches the reactions described in Revelation chapter 6 to earth-and-heavens-shaking events that will lead into His return.  It could be said that, in addition to natural fear, the Spirit of Knowledge and of the Fear of the LORD (Isaiah 11:2) will come upon them.

So, I’ll be using that personal aspect as grounds for praying in a particular way for the conviction of sin and sincere repentance of reprobates who serve satan’s schemes.

Hence my taking note at the close of Emma Stark’s video of 24th November on the Lord’s preference for the kind of revival we should pray for.  ‘He said, “But Emma, I’d rather you ask Me for the revival of the holy, reverential fear of God.” And God said, “It is in that, that I can bring the extraordinary miracles.” And the Lord says that he is going to give back to his people right now…a godly capacity to fast; a godly capacity to pray; a godly capacity for greater holiness, because I believe that He’s saying to us,:

“Choose My move that is a holy, reverential, all-based response to Who I am, that will bring the greatest harvest, and the greatest salvation and the greatest miracles for a generation.”

advent-wreath-As we are coming to the ‘arrival’ (Adventus) of the festive season with full force, it is so easy to forget what Christmas is about in our busyness, restlessness and buying madness. However, this year, I am going to try something different . I am feeling challenged to understand what Advent means and truly enter into it’s mystery.  I must admit, not having come from a traditional liturgy background, I haven’t really engaged with the whole lighting of candles and the advent Sunday countdown before. However, there is something to be said about the importance of this in the church calendar.

This weekend, I am planning on doing a session for young people in a local church. We will be making Advent Wreath’ s in preparation for the first Advent Sunday . The Wreath represents the eternity and endless love of God and that there is no Alpha or Omega (circular)…

Holy anointing fires coming into our worship, and the joy of the Redeemed

When discussing with the unknown woman He’d met by ‘God-incidence’ outside Sychar, Samaria, where’s the better location for worshiping God, Jesus instructed her:

“Woman believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither worship on this mountain nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we worship for salvation is of the Jews.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers with worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

“God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:21-24 NKJV)

In our extensive series of words and visions on holy fire, therefore, it would be well to consider this published by UK Prophetic Words:

MY HOLY FIRES OF ANOINTING ARE COMING TO YOUR WORSHIP, WHICH WILL BRING BACK THE JOY OF THE REDEEMED

“The opposition to My Word going forth to heal, save and deliver in the man-made church will suddenly be removed. I will take away the false shepherds and remove them far from My Flock and replace them with My True Shepherds and a Rod of My Unity that of which no man can break.

Reminder of vision of Holy Fire falling

This month has seen a rapidly growing number of powerfully encouraging and uplifting words and visions for followers of the Lord Jesus to weigh, ponder and pray. Into that mix, especially regarding visions of holy fire, UK Prophetic Words has published this from 2009 brought by Susan O’Marra. Her final paragraph is noteworthy in connection with the state of panic in the devil’s camp that the Lord showed Emma Stark (here):

VISION OF THE RAIN OF FIRE

‘In the vision, I was looking at the world from a suspended position. I could see people and areas from a panoramic position and also at times, I saw things close up. The position varied as it did with the scenes and with the messages that I was given to understand by the experiences given to me.

‘I saw what looked to me like great fiery rain coming from heaven and it came in great drops or elongated streams. It was not like the natural rain that we know of, but it was like spiritually infused living molten lava, a real fire, but it was Living Spirit; the living fiery essence of the Father that was raining down towards the inhabitants below.

Wake up Welby! Reform may be on the way…

Oh that the angelic ‘Reformer’ referred to in the previous post would quickly come and strike some spiritual sense into the Church of England’s entire leadership!

As expected, Dr Adrian Hilton, known under the pseudonym of 16th Century reformer ‘Archbishop Cranmer’, responds to the weekend television’s Robert Peston interview in Welby: “I really, genuinely do not understand” Christian support for Trump.:

‘The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was interviewed by Robert Peston on Sunday. He spoke about the British economic model, economic justice, investment, skills, apprenticeships, automation, robotics, AI, equality for all, food-banks, housing, Brexit, Northern Ireland, trade, unionist identity, the Good Friday Agreement, public enemies, and media headlines which stir up hate and division.

‘Before you kick him, he also spoke about Jesus’s command to care for and love the poor, the judgment of the Old Testament prophets, the need to build communities by loving one another, and the imperative of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.

‘So far, so good.

‘Then Peston mused about the “amazing support” which Donald Trump has from Christians in America. “Do you understand why fundamentalist Christians in America are so supportive of Donald Trump?” he asked the beaming Archbishop.

‘Rabbit…. headlights…

“There’s two things going through my mind,” Welby cogitated. “Do I say what I think, or do I say what I should say? And I’m going to say what I think.”

‘Marvellous, thought the ‘Peston on Sunday’ producers, as they contemplated the imminent Twitter storm and media furore.

‘Marvellous, thought Christians everywhere: the transparency, integrity, honesty of the man. What a breath of fresh air.

‘And then it comes: “No, I don’t understand it. I really, genuinely, do not understand where that is coming from,” said the Archbishop, speaking exactly as he thought.

‘There was a bit of rambling before Peston reprised: “But the fundamental point is that you don’t understand why the fundamentalist Christians in America seem to regard him as being the answer.”

‘The Archbishop raised his hands, more in bemusement than blessing. “No,” he said, “But then… I mean, you look… you look at the situation… maybe they felt… I don’t know… I just have… I don’t understand it, is the simple answer.”

‘But the odd thing is he went on to provide an answer in the very minute following. Peston asked the Archbishop: “How important is truth in politics?”

My deep desire is to avoid divisiveness and so, for other than indirect references in my coverage of the apostasy of the Anglican Synod last July, I’ve refrained from blogging about this brother-in-Christ’s personal frailties. Secular and Christian media have covered those all-too-spectacular issues of Welby’s acceptance of SSM as well as remarks on transgender issues in schoolchildren – not to mention the consequential surrender to parental censorship of Christian teaching in C of E schools (as here)!!

However, in his ignorance of a matter important to Christians over ‘the Pond’, some of whom are regular readers this blog, and because of my frequent coverage of our spiritual linkage then it’s incumbent on me to comment on this issue. So, by way of informing readers of ‘Cranmer’ I submitted this on Justin Welby’s bewilderment over American Christians and president Trump.

‘DOH!’ – my reaction to his comment; or maybe that should have been Justin’s response rather than utter befuddlement! It wasn’t surprising in view of his inability under interrogation to refer to basic Biblical teaching on sexuality, or on childhood gender confusion.

‘I’m not standing in judgement of either brother-in-Christ – one a British AofC, the other an American ‘sanctification-work in progress’ but appointed by God for ‘such a time of this’. In keeping an eye on the spiritual ‘Bridge o’er Pond’ I’m simply offering an explanation of Justin Welby’s lack of knowledge and understanding.:

‘As oft-said herein, very few in the Anglican hierarchy know the mind of our Father or they’d appreciate prophecy; not only what the Bible foretells about today but also as brought by modern-day prophets. Hence, the cluelessness about Brexit and Trump! Moreover, in allowing the CofE’s move into apostasy, it’s no wonder Justin cannot think like our American brethren do – especially in their adherence to basic Biblical belief, repudiation of Replacement Theology and their consequential, associated support for the state Israel.

‘As one example, I cite the panic Reuter’s film crew experienced in Detroit on 4 Sept 2016 after Trump not only received a standing ovation at a black church and praise from its Afro-American bishop, but also was given and wore(!) a tallit (Hebrew prayer shawl), a Jewish Bible and offered his prayers – the crew were told to cut the feed!!! ‘Trump’s personal appreciation of Israel and energetic emphasis upon returning the US to the role of ally unquestionably plays a HUGE part in wide Christian support for this radical president.’

(I later point out that Trump and his diplomatic team may come unstuck if they wish to continue previous administrations’ mistakes of encouraging division of the ‘holy land’ – William Koenig covers this in-depth in his weekly bulletins from the White House.)

Fellow Cranmer readers offered other sound reasons for Christians supporting Donald Trump as president of the USA.

We need to pray for Archbishop Justin Welby…and for the reformation indicated in Dr Theresa Phillips’ vision!

Is a mighty ‘Reformer’ angel to strike the earth soon?

In view of Dr Bill Hamon’s statements since 2008 on the Third Church Reformation, and the previous post of Emma Stark being granted a vision of disarray in Satan’s camp, as well as learning about a ‘holy, reverential fear of the Lord’ revival, the following vision published on The Elijah List makes interesting reading. In view of the promised outcome by mid-2018 its veracity can soon be checked. Upon considering more fully, I believe it warrants much greater emphasis:

AN ANGELIC ‘REFORMER’ WILL COME AND STRIKE THE EARTH WITHIN THE NEXT SIX MONTHS

THE REFORMER

As I sat alone in my quiet corner, I begin to ponder about the reformation of Martin Luther. The courage that this man had, a determination in his soul and spirit, to see the Spirit of the living God awaken the suppressed believer. As my mind became captivated by the very thought of reformation, I began to get a prophetic word. I saw an angelic being, male-looking, who was at least 30 feet tall, maybe more. He was standing with a sword in his right hand and a white (surrender) flag in his left. He said his name is “Reformer”.

Then, I heard him speak precisely, as if the sound of his voice was carrying across many waters. He was not God, but I knew in an instant, he was an angel of the Lord. I realized that the oceans were listening to the sound of the voice of this angel, and all of creation was responding. He is high-ranking archangel.

I sat very still…still looking with my spirit, when the vision had an interruption. I saw a bird fly past this massive angel. The bird had the face of the dove, yet powerful like an eagle. He swooped past this tall archangel called Reformer. The angel bowed in reverence, and all of creation began to respond in reverence as well. My heart began to pound so hard that I thought it was going to burst out of my body.

The angel began to move swiftly, yet he did not touch the ground. The sword, however, was turned upside down toward the earth, and suddenly he shoved it into the ground. Wherever the sword touched in the earth, EVERYTHING became green and full of life. Flowers that never bloomed before began to bloom. Life had emerged where there had been none. The look was majestically spectacular!

THE CHURCH WILL BE REFORMED

Then, the angel spoke very clearly into the atmosphere. I began to understand the sound. He began to state his unique purpose here in the below. “The Church will be reformed. It’s going into reform school-mode. The Presbyterian Church is going to have a visitation. Many in the Catholic Church will begin to cry out ‘No, no, we want the ways of the Word.’ Yes, these two denominations will begin to start a movement. I have been assigned to do my part,” said the angel. This time the angel was looking at me as he spoke. I began to tremble.

Then, I had another vision. I began to see leadership from all different denominations begin to come together and cry out for our Maker, Almighty. They said, “Almighty come teach us Your ways. For they are better than ours” (see Isaiah 55:8-9).

Still, enraptured by the vision that was being played out before me, I began to weep, “Could this possibly happen, Your Majesty?” I asked. “Is this real God? Will there really be a coming together? Will we cry out together?”

I could feel the tears coming down my face, red-hot tears. The angel moved. He had heard my cry. I could still feel him lingering. Suddenly, oh so suddenly, that presence that I love, the Holy Spirit, began to touch my back. I became very still and Holy Spirit, the Divine One of God, began to speak to me. By this time, I was undone by what I had just seen.

CALL UPON MY NAME!

Holy Spirit said, “Theresa, write this clearly: tell the people the revival they long for will be a reformation of what was, what is, and what is yet to come. I am paying a visit to denominational hierarchies, and there will be a shift.”

“There will be a crying aloud and sparing not (Isaiah 58:1). There will be a driving out of the demons out of our Father’s house (Mark 1:39). There will be altar calls for the Church to return to their first love (Revelation 2:4). There will be children once again turning to the house of the Lord and finding joy.

“For the end is not yet. I’ve told you this before. Now go tell My people to call upon My name (Jesus) while I am near (Isaiah 55:6). I have sent help. His name is Reformer; he has been sent by Me and will come and strike the earth within the next six months, and the Church will begin to cry out together and families will turn toward Me. I am bringing fresh holy conviction to rescue My people.

“I am looking for people to stand in the gap like Moses, Daniel and Joseph. I will find them. There will be a release of many held captive around the world for My sake. I will take captive the enemies of the Cross. For many enemies will appear as if they have lost their minds, and yet the end is not so.”

MANIFEST ME

For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (2 Thessalonians 2:11). “Can You see this already beginning?” I was asked.

He continued to speak, “I’m asking you to tell them that I’m giving the Church fresh opportunity. Remember the earth is groaning and longing for the manifestation of our Father’s sons. MANIFEST ME,” says the Lord (Romans 8:19)!

“Now I say to you, there shall be a sign in the heavens; it will be called “Thundersnow” and My voice will be recognized, and you shall be assigned to My people, and say I am on the move,” says the Lord.

May God Bless us all as we obey the Lord’s command. I shall go forth and declare this Reformation OF THE CHURCH! Send that angel, Lord. Send him. Amen.

Renowned prophet sees devil’s domain in deep disarray

On Friday this video appeared on Emma Stark’s Facebook and subscribers to Glasgow Prophetic Centre’s Lion Bites were emailed ‘You Need To Hear This Word of The Lord’.

I’m grateful to UK Prophetic Words for publishing this transcript (colour-text RB):

‘God said some amazing things to me recently and I wanted you to be the first to know, so that you can be blessed and released to advance at this time.

‘The Lord said to me, “Do you want to see Satan?” And I thought, ‘What a peculiar question!’ and I said, “God, actually, do you know what – no thank you very much!” And God said, “But I’d like to show you Satan,” and I said, “But God, I’d really rather see you.” And He said to me, “Emma, you see Me all the time.”

‘He took me to a place where he lifted back the veil and, for the first time actually ever in my life, I saw Satan in the distance and what absolutely shocked me was how panicked he was! He was pacing the floor. He was so full of anxiety. He was behaving like a truly defeated foe. And I started to hear (or God let me hear) him muttering under his breath, and he was saying “My power is limited; my power is limited.” And he said Leviathan and Jezebel had gone to him – two of his great demonic generals – wanting more power, and he had no more power to give them because of the effectiveness of the prayers of the Saints. And I could hear him say that Leviathan’s teeth had been broken in warfare, and that that strongman was in the process of being overthrown and defeated. And there was such a sense of panic in the enemy camp, and also a sense that the enemy was on the cusp of an internal civil war because of the acknowledgement that they had run out of power.

‘Now you and I know as Christian believers, we don’t need to think in the morning, ‘Oh, do you know I’ve only got five prayers today; what am I going to use them on?’ But actually, Satan does need to think like that because he is a limited being. But at the moment, I believe God is saying to us that his camp is in a crisis like it has never been in for many years. And the sense of panic in Satan’s mind is because he is going to have to take his eye off the earth and off us to deal with his own in-house battles.

‘And I heard the Spirit of the Lord say that this is a time for great victory, where you can take back that which was lost. And the Lord says that Satan’s grip is so loose on some things that where there were some business deals which didn’t come through, some buildings you were supposed to own, some properties you were supposed to move into, some things that were supposed to happen, the Lord is saying that He is loosing over his church an anointing to catch up and to take ground, but also to ‘retake’ that which was already lost. And the Lord spoke the word “CATCH UP!” with such a force that it started to resonate in our thinking and we started to remember where we were supposed to be.

‘So I want to loose that blessing over you right now that God is saying, He is releasing a ‘catch-up’ grace; that the time that you have lost and the things that have been taken are going to come right back into your world right now.

‘And then the Lord started to speak to me about Brexit, in the middle of all of this. And the Lord said this: “You” (you collectively, like, all of us – family) “have prayed for a revival and awakening and reformation in the UK for so long.” And the Lord says, “I have heard the prayers for revival and awakening and reformation.” And the Lord said, “I couldn’t come as close as I wanted to, to the UK, because I had to resist her because she was proud.” And many of us know that, actually, if we were scoring the UK in a pride rating, we would probably score it quite high. And we know from the Word of God that God resists the proud, and we know from the word of God that Leviathan (go and read Job chapter 41 if you want and 42, if you want to read about Leviathan), Leviathan is the strongman demon over pride in the earth.

‘And I heard God say this: “I will allow a bad deal for the UK in BREXIT, and it will bring a humbleness to the nation. And in the humbleness it will be an answer to your prayers, because it will break Leviathan off you. And in the breaking of Leviathan”, the Lord says, “I will rush towards you with revival and awakening that you have prayed for.” And so the Lord says, “Do not fear the bad deal, for I am in it, and I am disconnecting you to reconnect you.” And the Lord says that there will be a move of God on the back of the humbleness that is going to come to the UK.

‘I heard the Lord say to the prophets in the land and people of revelation … that He is about to catch you up; that you are going to see regionally, and not just locally, that actually – do you remember when John goes up in Revelation and he sees all the churches of the region? And God says, at this time He is going to raise his leaders and His prophetic people to start to be a voice of leadership in national crisis. But He is going to bless you to be caught up to see more than you’ve ever seen before.

‘But then I heard God, just this week, say something quite remarkable. He says: “What sort of revival do you want?” He said to me, “Emma, the church gets to choose.” And He said, “You can have a revival that’s very similar to what you have known before.” And I’m like, “Well that sounds quite good God.” Depth of presence – it felt like water of glory cascading. And then He said, “But Emma, I’d rather you ask Me for the revival of the holy, reverential fear of God.” And God said, “It is in that, that I can bring the extraordinary miracles.” And the Lord says that he is going to give back to his people right now, and some of you just need to put your hand up wherever you are, because He’s giving back to you a godly capacity to fast; a godly capacity to pray; a godly capacity for greater holiness, because I believe that He’s saying to us,

“Choose My move that is a holy, reverential, all-based response to Who I am, that will bring the greatest harvest, and the greatest salvation and the greatest miracles for a generation.”

‘So I want to say, be encouraged. The enemy is at his weakest. God is humbling a nation and He is rushing towards us. Be blessed.’

A dream: the Lion is still roaring!

Over the ‘Pond’ and way beyond – in Tucson, Arizona – Tony Puccio posted this on Saturday in My Dreams and Visions 

‘I had a dream last night where I saw a lion seated in what I’ll call a regal pose looking outward.  Then I saw many, many people begin to throw spears and knives at the lion. I saw the lion lean to one side succumbing to his injuries – or so I thought – and dying.

‘However, the lion in the dream did not die but rather stood up on all fours, shook, like one would see a dog doing when wet, and the spears, knives, etc. that had pierced his body were expelled. Then I saw the lion begin to roar at those who had thrown the spears and knives trying to kill him and I watched as they became like dust and were no more.

‘Several things come to mind here one naturally being the monicar (sic) given to Jesus as the lion of Judah.

‘The seated lion, I believe, represents rule. The standing lion roaring represents judgement.

‘As I get further revelation from the Lord I will add to the post.’ (The Lion Still Roars)

Sanctuary – Moments in His Presence

Sanctuary – `something set aside for sacred use’.  This new book by David Strutt is a collection of daily thoughts and insights. They are designed to encourage you to come into the presence of God; to praise Him, to hear Him and be healed and restored by the wonders of His love and faithfulness.

Sanctuary isn’t meant to replace daily Bible reading but instead aims to stimulate, inspire and refresh you by helping you go deeper into God’s love.

Reflecting on the nature of God, this Sanctuary contains exciting testimonies and encouragement to pursue the Lord for spiritual gifts to be evident in our daily lives. It is arranged so you can read the entries either by following as a calendar of dates and church festivals, else at your own pace by its numerical sequence of days. At the close of each day’s thoughts there is a short prayer as a source of inspiration for further meditation.

Its author David Strutt blesses the church we attend in Liphook with teaching that brings deep insights, and I especially appreciate his occasional explanations of the Hebrew meaning of scripture. After announcing the book’s publication his large box of copies was soon emptied!

David Reveals Book’s Beginnings

Chatting recently with David in his large but cosy ‘shack’ and by a warm small fire, I enquire of the book’s genesis. He points to a light-green large yet thin, vertical wooden letter rack brimming over with small scraps of paper upon which he’d jotted notes over many years, and to lots and lots more in a box-file labelled ‘Sanctuary’.  As stated in the book’s Introduction, they’re all thoughts and insights from his reading, preaching and being inspired.

With a flourish of the hand towards the box he divulges, “I knew that one day I’d use them to write a book for those who place great importance in coming into the Lord’s glorious presence each day.”  The Introduction offers gems of brief encouragement – like nuggets – on ways of getting the best out of those notes, as though riding on a tandem with scripture.

About four years ago David realised the Lord wanted him to transform all the notes into a devotional book called ‘Sanctuary’. He confesses that his first attempt at doing so in a diary format only produced rather ‘wooden’ first months of the year.

Last year a very awkward misfortune resulted in one leg being immobilised. “When my leg was encased in a heavy plaster cast it was quite a struggle to walk around. And so in 2016 I debated with myself about being able to go to Dorset and eventually decided we could go in August.”

David then pointed across from where I was lazing on the sofa to the large, soft leather satchel laying across the adjacent chair. “As I went to grab that bag I heard the Lord tell me, ‘Don’t take that! Take your laptop!’  So out came the box of watercolours and in went my laptop. Instead of sitting at an easel I ended up tapping away on a keyboard. From the first day away the writing flowed non-stop and I wrote daily ’til January 2017!

“In writing I had several different kinds of readers in mind rather than write for a niche market. As well as regular devotees I wanted it to appeal to new believers, to those wary of the Old Testament and to offer a ‘jigsaw’ of prophecies that lead into the Incarnation. In leading into Advent/Christmas entries during November introduce OT prophecies, even the more difficult ones, for our contemplation.

“So I tried to link together a chain of events to help us understand Father’s heart for His creation. ‘Sanctuary’ is for diligent seekers as we all need to understand the big picture rather than see the Bible within a niche.”

In view of my frequently blogging on both topics, my ears pricked up at David’s alluding to prophecies as a ‘jigsaw’!  I grinned. When launching this blog six years ago I’d wanted to call it ‘Invisible Jigsaw’ (details here), but couldn’t find a suitable graphic at the time.

Furthermore, a slight scratch to the back of David’s hand from a garden bush as we went to the ‘den’ had reminded me of a significant dream a couple of days earlier. The dream related to a formative place of my childhood (local library, as here) and my later calling to write. It closed with my looking at my watch, seeing the hands near 12 o’clock (similar to now, 12:07) and a short, narrow trickle of blood around the top’s inside edge. I awoke and understood most of the dream, plus the what and why of the last thing I was looking at – my watch; that is, ‘Richard’s Watch’!

Anglicans lead Wittenberg-style protest against ‘progressive’ bishops in their cathedrals.

On the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, with Martin Luther nailing the 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church, Anglicans nailed (or tacked) a similar protesting document to the doors of five Church of England cathedrals. Leaders in the movement told PJ Media they intend to push the Church of England back to the Bible and against a “secular” form of “soft socialism.”

“These postings of the Southwark Declaration represent a grassroots protest amongst both the orthodox laity and the clergy against the complacent selling-out of the Church of England to the current secular zeitgeist in the name of progressive Christianity,” Gavin Ashenden, a missionary bishop to England who rejected his ordination in the Church of England (and his position as special bishop to Queen Elizabeth II) this year, told PJ Media.

This prophetic promise comes courtesy of UK Prophetic Words and is very interesting in view of what Leisa Ebere and Charlie Shamp brought here and here from the Lord, and ‘Amen’ to Vida Caplin’s conclusion:

IT IS TIME FOR THE HOUSE OF CARDS TO COME DOWN

I saw in the spirit a house of cards and heard the old nursery rhyme ‘London Bridge is falling down‘ begin to play. A hand appeared and took a card from the bottom and the house fell. I looked at the cards as they lay in a heap and saw that they were all face cards, jacks, queens and kings. I then heard another old rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’ begin to play.

I asked Holy Spirit to reveal to me the meaning of the vision.

“This house of cards has been carefully built over the years by those in power, it has been shaken countless times, many have seen the cracks form but it has been fortified and strengthened by those who live within its walls. It is now the time for this house to come down and it shall be done by my hand. Many shall wonder at its falling and ask, How can this be? Should we not rebuild? Can we not establish again what once was? But it shall not come to pass for no man can put this back together.”

Again I pondered on Holy Spirit’s revelation but wondered why the two nursery rhymes had played. I was stirred to look at the words of each one. In London Bridge is falling down, the words repeat time and time again in each verse about rebuilding and making stronger the construction, even setting guards to watch over it. Yet when Humpty Dumpty falls the last line states, ‘All the King’s horses and all the King’s men, couldn’t put Humpty together again!’

God is going to pull down something very big and it will not be rebuilt. This is an empire work of corruption that Holy Spirit is speaking of. The house of cards speaks of something that has been intricately built over the years, the face cards speak of those who are in powerful positions or are known. More than that Holy Spirit has not revealed but we watch for the dramatic fall to happen.

Having resigned from ministry in the Anglican communion Gavin’s incisive analysis cuts close to the ‘bone’. His wise opinion, and closing dream and vision, confirm the validity of a recent prophetic word and vision of pruning of CofE’s deadwood, and my earlier conversational piece about the SSM Bill. It’s exactly as Jesus foretold about these End-times being like the Days of Noah and of Lot!

Jesus said,

There are at least two ways of doing theology; one primarily as a rational and intellectual act, and one by discernment of the Spirit.

Our Enlightenment traditions are very comfortable with the first, but Churches that look to the Holy Spirit rather than the nous or the human mind, need to be able to exercise the gift of the Holy Spirit called in the New Testament, ‘discernment.’

Charlie Shamp prophecies on the UK’s Awakening – #3

From part #2 – An hour later, after bathing in the Spirit’s presence, Charlie speaks about the power and glory of what the Lord’s doing through Capstone church and then says (from 2hr 51min):

LONDON AND ENGLAND – SHAKINGS AND RUMBLINGS OF AN AWAKENING

“I am telling you tonight, under the power of the prophetic, that there is a performance that’s coming across this city of London, that the hand of God is coming upon you, London. Not just East London, but I am telling you the ENTIRE CITY! The hand of the Lord. The hand of the Lord. And you say, ‘What’s the purpose? What’s the point? What’s the point of tarrying in an upper room?’ It’s because you have been HOLDING THE NATION IN YOUR HEART; OVERSHADOWING EVEN THE CITY, AND THE LORD IS GOING TO STRETCH OUT HIS HAND. He’s going to stretch out his hand and begin to release supernatural performances, Kingdom demonstrations, supernatural releases of the Spirit of God, on the street corners. And…in witches covens, and witch covens will bow their knee to Jesus Christ! Yeah…Drug dealing and prostitution will shut down by the power of God…I’m telling you, there is a hungry body that is going to taste and see the Kingdom of God like never before…

“Lift your hands, I’m prophesying over England:
Even Psalm 68:8 – The earth shook. the Heavens also dropped at the presence of the Lord. Even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God in Israel.

“There is a prophetic power that’s going to come in this hour that is going to begin to RIP OPEN WHOLE REGIONS. Whole regions are going to begin to receive the fire, the oil and the glory. The fire, the oil and the glory. The FOG of GOD (part #1 refers). And there’s even going to be; the Lord told me over the next several years there are going to be shakings. There are going to be shakings that are going to take place, even across London and across England. Shakings – shakings across this nation in the physical, in the physical. The Lord is going to shake the natural earth. I am not talking about massive or major earthquakes; I am talking about shakings that are going to be sizeable. People won’t be harmed, but there will be sizeable shakings and rumblings of an awakening that is taking place across the nation. I prophesied this in 2015 where I saw that there was going to be shakings and rumblings. And I’m telling you, the awakening is happening even now. And the presence of God, as it comes down, the earth is going to begin to shake; the shaking; the shaking, the shaking. There is a shaking that is going to happen. And it’s going to be a sign of the awakening; there’s going to be a sign of the awakening of the Spirit of God across the land. He is going to begin to awaken people out of religious churches. He is going to cause them to move out of the dead, dying body and move in to the living Kingdom. He is going to cause them to get out of the place of sitting in the pew, and moving into the performance of the Spirit of God, and the shakings and rumblings are going to happen across England. There’s going to be shakings. There’s going to be shaking and rumblings that are going to transpire. And it will be a sign of the presence of God dropping down on this nation.

“Even in the City of London, I see that there’s going to be a shaking, a shaking. And it will be a sign of God’s hand coming down, His presence dropping down, stretching out His hand to perform signs and wonders and miracles. Not through just one; not through just two or three; not just through one or two or three; but the Lord is going to begin to move upon the many. God is releasing an Army, an Amy that will carry the frequency of heaven, the worship and praise and adoration of the Kingdom and they will begin to move into demonstration of power, and the land is going to shake, the earth is going to move. It will be a shock to many.

“What God is going to do in awakening in the UK is going to shock Europe. What God is going to do in these fiery islands is going to shock, is going to shock, even Europe, into a place that they will not be satisfied with humanistic teaching and religion and tradition any longer, but they’ll rise up and recognise that there’s more; there’s more; there’s more; there’s more; there’s more, there’s more.

“What’s going to come out of the UK is going to begin to spark something even in the United States of America, and cause even greater, in a sense, if I could say, a jealousy, a jealousy, but a holy jealousy, that says, “You can’t have it without us. That says you can’t just have it in the UK – we want it over here! And I am telling you THE FIRE IS GOING TO JUMP, IT’S GOING TO JUMP, IT IS GOING TO JUMP BACK AND FORTH, BACK AND FORTH, BACK AND FORTH, for the Lord is CREATING AN ARC BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES and the UNITED KINGDOM. HE IS UNITING THEM IN THE SPIRIT. HE IS BUILDING AN ARK OF HIS PRESENCE AND POWER.”

THE KAIROS MOMENT IS MOVING INTO THIS NATION. THE UK & AMERICA ARE INTERLOCKED TOGETHER FOR AN AWAKENING

“As I was flying in, I was coming in, I was flying over the city of London; 1 Corinthians 16:9 came to me, where Paul said, ‘I have a great and effectual door, but there are many enemies’.  The Lord said, ‘See there’s the paradox, the comparison. What are you going to stare at, what are you going to look at?  Are you going to look at the enemies, Or are you going to look at the effectual, fervent door that I’ve given to you?  Are you going to look at the massive door of opportunity that I’ve given to you to step into what I am doing in this season?’

“Sometimes we’re waiting for this thing to come, when God says, ‘No don’t wait, just jump in now.’ We want to test the waters sometimes to make sure that they’re right. But God says stop testing the water and get fully into what I am doing. We look at all the circumstance and the situations that we’re facing around us, and we say, ‘Well, when the timing is right, when it’s just the perfect time.’  The Lord says says, ‘No, no, no, right now, the Kairos moment is moving into this nation, and the positioning of the supernatural and the positioning of the Spirit is what we need to step into right now; when the Kingdom of God begins to just move in such power that it cannot be contained within the four walls of the church – hallelujah! – that the door that is open to us is open so wide, that we can bring others with us…..”

“…..I am telling you, THE UK AND AMERICA ARE INTERLOCKED TOGETHER FOR AN AWAKENING. They’re interlocked together for an awakening. THE LION IS GOING TO ROAR SO THE EAGLE CAN FLY! The fire is going to jump oceans, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. The fire is going to jump oceans back and forth. The fire is going to jump back and forth.

“We’re on the prophetic timetable of heaven.

“There is a pattern within the context of scripture, that when God is going to move, He positions a people in an upper room to receive what heaven has, so that the effectual door can be opened, and they will move through the door in power, despite the adversaries; despite those that would come against; despite those things which are attempting to stop the move of the Spirit. The Lord will position a people, and He will position them to receive the outpouring of his glory and power, in order so that the outpouring that takes place within them, they will in turn begin to carry it out…..”

“…..I am telling you, there is a separation coming that is going to distinguish those that carry true authentic Holy Ghost power, and those that are just religiously standing and trying to persuade people to stay within the boxes and confinements of religion. The future does not belong to religion; it belongs to Holy Ghost-filled people, and the church and the body of Christ.

“The church is going to shine brighter and brighter in this hour, and religion is going to fade. Because the fire and the power and the glory of God is going to begin to come upon his people, as they begin to come into unity, and they begin to tarry in that place.”

THE LORD IS UNITING THE UK FOR THE FIRE OF HEAVEN TO BREAKOUT

“Many of you know that personally I’ve been contending just for, not even just revival, but for an awakening to hit the UK. You know, revivals usually last three to five years but an awakening will last for an entire generation, up to 50 years!

“And I believe that the Lord is uniting the UK right now – and I don’t just mean through politics, but I mean through the Spirit of God; that the Lord is uniting these islands for the wildfires of heaven to break out; for the Kingdom of God to invade every part of this nation, across every, every part of it; that there won’t be a place where the presence of God is not breaking out, where the power of the Holy Spirit is not evident, where signs and wonders and miracles are not just a part of our everyday life.

“I am telling you right now,  that there is a prophetic momentum that is happening in this nation right now that is unstoppable. There is an acceleration that is happening – and I am already starting to prophesy just underneath this mantle that’s here tonight – but there is an acceleration in the prophetic destiny of this nation. And I’m telling you that no devil in hell, no satanic system, no agenda from the enemy is going to be able to stop what God is going to do. Because the Lord is uniting a body.

“And I’m telling you, the united body is going to walk across this United Kingdom and the power of the Holy Spirit is going to be put on display by men and women of God that are set ablaze – sons and daughters of the Kingdom – moving in demonstration and power of the Spirit that is an unstoppable force – unstoppable force! Hallelujah!”

Charlie then briefly tells a little of what he’s been getting from the Lord during recent travels and returning to Britain since last year – “I recognise that the Lord has a destiny for this nation”. Coming up the steps he felt the overpowering waves of the Presence in the upstairs sanctuary at Capstone church – “You know ,it’s one thing to see a thing prophetically and then to experience it!” – he continues:

THE LORD IS SHIFTING THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE UK

“I was in Perth, Australia, earlier in the year; I believe it was in July.  I was taken to a tower that’s there in the city.  They brought me there to just kind of sight-see, and there’s a tower there in Perth, and there’s these bells that are there, in the city.  And they’re from England – they are actually from St Martin-in-the-Fields [in Trafalgar Square RB]. They were rung during some of the greatest achievements and greatest victories of England.  They are over there and they were transported over to the nation of Australia, in the city of Perth.

“It Is Time”

“And the Lord began speak to me as I went back to my hotel, back to the place where I was staying.  I got caught up in a vision.  And I saw Big Ben and I saw in the spirit the Lord was going to cause a sign and a wonder to come from Big Ben; that it would be a sign, because I’d been walking out this thing that I prophesied last year…and what God was saying, that we were going to have to walk through for a season in the UK, but that there was going to be a great awakening that was going to come.

“And, the Lord told me – in this vision, I was seeing Big Ben – and the Lord told me, he said I’m going to cause a sign and a wonder to come; a sound that’s going to come, and I’m going to silence my enemies.

“And as I was in this encounter, suddenly, like a fog – a fog began to come down.  And a lot of times you think a fog is just something that’s not good.  And the Lord said, ‘It’s the London fog’.  And I said, ‘London fog?’ I said, ‘Oh!’ and He said; ‘It’s the fog of my presence’.

“I said, ‘Lord, what’s that?’ He said: ‘It’s the fire, the oil and the glory, and where the enemy has tried to come in and blind the people, cloud their minds, I am releasing my fog and I’m shifting the atmosphere of the UK; I’m shifting it to the place of my presence, my outpouring, my fire, my oil and my glory, the fog of heaven coming down to release a new sound out of heaven and out of the people of God. Hallelujah! Where signs and wonders will begin to be poured out.’

“I feel this so strongly…And about a month ago I believe, there was a report that came out that said Big Ben was going to be silenced for four years.  And the Lord said: ‘That’s the sign. That’s the shift.  That’s the major shift that I am doing, to change the direction of the nation’. ”

Denouncing your neighbour for a ‘thought-crime’ was a favourite past time in the old Soviet Union. The problem for anyone accused of having the ‘wrong thoughts’ is that it’s impossible to defend yourself.

Well the practice is back. ‘Hate crime’ is the new thought crime. If someone else’s views makes you feel uncomfortable, all you need to do is to accuse them of either ‘hate’ or, if you prefer, ‘extremism’, or best of all, both.

The latest seed bed of hate-filled extremism has been lurking undiscovered for the last 16 years in a Primary School, in Tunbridge Wells.

With psychological and social consequences that surely defy imagination, a generation of children have been infected by ‘hate’ at the hands of an extremist organisation masquerading as a Christian charity.

‘Weep for the BBC’ (intercession) starts tonight

Robin Jegede-Brimson, co-pastor of Servant Ministries in Whitstable, Kent, and one of the leaders of the Inter-Prophetic Alliance (IPA) issues this invitation to intercessors:

A CALL TO WEEP (INTERCEDE) FOR THE BBC

The BBC is in GOD’s spotlight!

We are called to make disciples of all nations, as in making converts and discipling people from all ethnic groups (Gk:Ethnae) “nations” but in another sense we are also called to introduce kingdom values to the systems and institutions of nations. This gives rise to the distinction in Matt 25:32 between sheep and goat nations. We see patterns of this in the life of Joseph who through his wisdom was able to save and preserve life in Egypt as well as Daniel who was promoted on the back of his very public unflinching in the face of persecution. In 1992 the BBC was dedicated to GOD and the plaque in the lobby of the BBC boldly declares,

“To GOD Almighty, .. praying that a good sowing may produce a good harvest so that everything unclean, impure and hostile to peace may be driven out, that whatever is beautiful, sincere, genuine and of good reputation may stand  . .”

However, this millennium has seen the BBC shift from being an impartial broadcaster to one which actively seeks to push ideologies averse to civilization and family, the building blocks of society and godliness. When those at the helm are challenged through petitions or the newscasters or offered an opinion other than that of the liberals, all objections are treated with impunity and hostility. “Bigot!”, “Homophobic!” and the like are what come. The BBC has become an organisation used by the enemy to promote gender extremism and hostility against any who hold to family values. A national institution in favour of all things Islam at the expense of Christianity. Even GOD-fearing politicians are not spared this barrage when they stand up for truth, decency and common sense morality.

Here are a few examples :

So, what can we do? Are we helpless at this tide of evil? By no means!! We are not without weapons, we are not without power, we are not helpless, WE CAN PRAY, and PRAY we shall! It is time to FIGHT BACK!

The BBC and this slide to moral anarchy was highlighted to the Inter-Prophetic Alliance and friends (a group of leaders burdened for the nation) and we set time aside to ask The LORD for His heart for the BBC. We asked for His revelation on what was behind this and what prayer strategy He may have for us. Here are some of our findings and conclusions:-

A. GOD loves all the people in the BBC and desires that they all come to the saving knowledge of JESUS. Tears flowed freely from our faces as we once again encountered The SAVIOUR’s love for all of humanity including the broadcasters who have sought to vilify believers. We wept as we prayed mercy and forgiveness on all the broadcasters who have been caught in the enemy’s trap and castigated believers.

B.  There is a heavy influence on all (but for the grace of GOD and those covered by His Blood) who work in the BBC by the spirit of the power of the air who has been invited by evil workers to rule there. This controlling diabolical spirit is the enemy.

C.  One of the past DG’s of the BBC was closely associated with the occult and as a result of this pacts were made with the enemy. Presently there are several serving at the BBC who have entered into similar demonic pacts.

PRAYER STRATEGY 

As we sought The LORD on what to do, this is what came to us –

1.  Pray, weep and intercede for all who are in the BBC. Pray for GOD’s hand of mercy to be revealed to all and for all who serve the nation there to come to repentance. We must uphold the spiritual truth that GOD always gives time to repent and turn before executing judgement (e.g Thyatira in Rev 2)
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” 2Peter 3:9

2.  Pray for GOD’s warning that they are in the spotlight to come to ears of those in authority in the BBC, that both Christian and pre-Christian alike find a place of repentance. (note that GOD expects godliness from all (e.g. Herod in Acts 12)
“When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. 7 This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. 8 But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 9 Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.” 10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened”(Jonah) 

3. Strengthen the hands of those who are called to be watchmen and intercessors to the BBC and see a company of priestly intercessors who will man the gates for this portal to the nation.

To this end we have a series of prayer events for the BBC coming up –

1. “WEEP (intercede) for the BBC” – a time of weeping and intercessions for all in the BBC

3. “Raise an umbrella over the BBC” – strengthening a company to watch and pray

RB NOTE: readers familiar with my highly critical blogs on the Badly Biased Corporation (eg. 5 years ago) will recall its anti-Israel stance is not only pro-Palestinian in failing in its statutory duty to report current as well as historical events accurately but also its lack of  impartially arising from its distinctly prejudiced policy. This is amply demonstrated  by BBC Watch’s in-depth investigations overflowing with the corporation’s campaign of irredeemable misinformation, falsehoods and inaccuracies.

Thus, the self-righteous BBC deliberately misleads viewers about the state of Israel.
