Monday newsmix: UK re-awakening and more Muslims looking to Jesus

Hand with News icon - Watcharakun After a short break on the coast followed by a weekend course on living in Holy Spirit’s anointing, I trawled through my in-tray and was very pleased with the following good news. Both items are related to visionary and prophetical words, the first comes from our county town, and the second from the wider Middle-East.

Can These Bones Live?

Dr Clifford Hill reacts as follows to what happened during the Pentecost celebrations:

“If anyone thought that Christianity was dying in the traditional churches of Britain, what happened in Winchester Cathedral last week would have shattered their illusions!”

He reports the ancient, hallowed building and grounds were packed out at that evening’s celebration. This was the culmination of nine days of prayer events for the evangelisation of Britain, as invited by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. The Pentecost weekend itself culminated in six ‘Beacon events’ with video links to Canterbury Cathedral where the Archbishop, Justin Welby, gave a message based upon the Lord’s prayer, which he said was “reassuring enough to be on the lips of the dying and yet dangerous enough to be banned in cinemas!”

“Was this a sign that something special is beginning to happen in the old denominational churches? Will the spiritual life of the nation be transformed by a new generation embracing the gospel in their own culture as the Holy Spirit breathes new life into the unchanging message of salvation and “Jesus is Lord!” is once again heard on the lips of children and young people?”

In my humble opinion, “Yes it is a sign” and my initial thought was of the prophetic promise heard at Ffald-y-Brenin retreat centre, as blogged two years ago in Resurrection Coming to the Anglican Church.:

‘The usual morning liturgical prayer time got overshadowed by the Lord, who reminded them of the raising of Lazarus. They were told He’s going to call the Anglican Church out of its grave and bring it back to life!’

Of all the words published in this blog this may be exceptional because it was the first to be severely criticised, as related in this post about our later visit to Ffald-y-Brenin. Also, this latest event reflects what others have observed of an increasing number returning to the Anglican fold and other churches – yet without denominational divisions as in bygone eras. And, of course, readers of this blog are aware of many prophetic words about a new era in the Church and move of God in the UK; eg, brought by Heidi Baker (with updates).

Intense Persecution Brings Harvest of Muslims

The exciting news continues of many Muslims seriously doubting their faith and looking and turning to Jesus in reaction to it being returned to its original barbaric practices. As blogged about Iran and a significant warning in Mecca (here and here respectively), as well as other posts, this is personally encouraging in view of a vision I had in 1992 on the fall of Islam (see this email).

Another morning email Is There Any Good News From the Mid-East? alerted me to Joel Rosenberg’s latest post, in which his friend Tom Doyle answers,

“Yes, despite intense prosecution we’re also seeing a great harvest of Muslims turning to Christ.”

After providing several wonderful examples, especially of those martyred on a beach in Libya to the shock of the world, Tom asks why is it that Muslims are now coming to faith in Christ in significant numbers? His answer:

“One of the reasons is that Islamic terrorists are killing violently for their faith, while followers of Jesus are dying peacefully for their faith. Muslims are watching the violence and it has soured them towards their religion. It has also opened them up to the possibility that there may be something to this Jesus after all. They see hate in Radical Islam and love among the Jesus followers, even as they are taken to be executed. What a contrast.

“Yes, Christians are being persecuted openly in the Middle East. But they are standing strong, and this has served to spread the gospel even more rapidly. In a world of bad news, that is very good news.”

Indeed it is. And as noted in Good News: Christian Revival in N Africa, the Cartheginian early Church author Tertullian observed the same and formulated the famous dictum:

“The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church.”

Brussels bursts the balloon of theological speculation!

Do this week’s dreadful events in Brussels expose theological errors on the rise of the Antichrist? In my opinion, yes.

As there’s neither time or opportunity to expand upon this claim in depth let me stir your thoughts on a few points.

Students of Bible prophecy know theologians have long-held to the idea that scripture, especially the Books of Daniel and The Apocalypse, foretells the revival of the defunct, ancient Roman Empire. Consequently, the post-WWII Treaty of Rome and creation of the European Union was seen by most modern theologians and teachers on prophecy as the re-birth of that empire, from which the Antichrist would emerge as a world leader. The prophetic corpus explains all the disastrous consequences that would attend such a scenario as a result of a leader’s assumption of totalitarian power and subsequent attacks upon Jews and the state of Israel.

However, since the turn of the Century an increasing number of scholars have posited a different explanation of prophecy; one more in keeping with the geopolitical realities about which it foretells. Namely, Israel and its Middle-Eastern milieu. That is, the nature of Islam makes it, or a part of it, rather than the EU the source of the person to fulfill that prophesied role.

Previously I’ve noted the author of the book that started my journey, The Invisible Hand, drew attention to the modern ascendancy of Islam, although he followed others’ assumptions about the roles of Europe and of Russia. Even so, as shown in US Presidents’ Actions Relate to Daniel’s Visions, Victor Dunstan’s world scenario drawn in mid-1980s closes: ‘The personification of the Beast will take control of the revived Islamic Empire’!

In fact, this week’s attacks upon Brussels, where the EU’s head is located, symbolise a spiritual conflict and contest between those two candidates for Antichrist!! And this precludes any consideration of the exceptional vulnerability brought about by European defiance of scripture in its anti-Israel policies, as considered earlier in this blog, and the latest illegality of which the Daily Mail published recently.

daniel-revisited-cover-small Author of Daniel Revisited, Mark Davidson considers this theological question and briefly explains in The Attacks in Brussels and Paris, and Rome vs. Islam why Europe can no longer be considered as the source of the infamous biblical personage:

‘If Europe was truly the future power base of the Antichrist, wouldn’t it at least have some vestige of outrage calling for a military confrontation? Why aren’t the Germans, French, Belgians, Dutch and Brits calling for forming a 200,000-man army and smashing the teeth in of Islamic State, the source du jour of Islamic jihadists, um, I mean, terrorists? It’s because Europe is simply not the future power base of the Antichrist. Islam is.

‘The future power base of the Antichrist is the one doing the bombing. And it just occurred to me that these attacks – claimed by IS – are yet another data point showing in reality what is really happening right before our eyes. If you knew nothing of Bible prophecy, which political sphere of influence might have the culture and attitude to support the Antichrist’s ambitions? The Continent tired of war, or the Realm that is in places acting like a wild beast wanting to rip into its victims?’ (Read the full article by clicking above title.)

A Muslim Perspective

Now consider the secular opinion of the Muslim and Pakistan-born author, columnist and broadcaster and a founder of the Muslim Canadian Congress – Tarek Fatah. His article Brussels: Another Wake-up Call in Toronto Sun opens:

‘Another day, another city, yet the script that started unfolding in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in 1998 and that shocked the world on 9/11 in New York is the same — jihadi killers let loose on unsuspecting “infidels”. On Tuesday, Belgium’s capital of Brussels fell in line with London, Madrid, and Paris as Western capitals brought to their knees by jihadi terrorists seeking the annihilation of Western civilization.

‘If the actions committed by the soldiers of international jihad were predictable, the reaction of Western leaders was also familiar to ordinary, anxious citizens of North America and Europe – cowardice wrapped in political correctness…(Emphasis added)

‘As anger at the inability of Western countries to fight the spread of jihadi Islamism grows, the reaction of their leaders has numbed into cliché-ridden rhetoric…When (leaders) of the free world (are) careful not to name the entity that attacks the U.S. and its allies, how can we expect to defeat this evil cancer that keeps spreading?

‘Imagine President Franklin D. Roosevelt not naming the Nazi regime of Germany as the enemy Americans (and British Commonwealth) fought and laid down their lives to fight against in the Second World War.’

In closing let me quote Archbishop Justin Welby:

“In the great Holy Week of Christian prayer and mercy, the Brussels attacks shock all those who seek peace and justice through the terrible cruelty and utter separation from all that is of God. Once again we see the contrast between the vain efforts to terrify through indiscriminate murder, and the call of God to be those who show mercy, who seek peace and pursue it. Let us at every service this week pray for those caught up in the traumatic events at the airport and in the City of Brussels.”

Let us pray also for all our political leaders and ministers to repent of repudiating Christ and that all resolve to uphold and follow rather than negate and ridicule Gospel truths – amen.

Soeren Kern, Why Belgium is Ground-Zero for European Jihadis:

The terrorist attacks on the airport and metro in Brussels are casting a spotlight, once again, on Belgium’s ignominious role as a European haven for jihadists. Several distinct but interconnected factors help explain why Brussels, the political capital of Europe, has emerged as the jihadist capital of Europe…

American intelligence official: “When we have to contact these people [European officials] or send our guys over to talk to them, we’re essentially talking with people who are… children. …In the aftermath of the ISIS attacks in Brussels, will Europeans demand to know why European resources are being used to fund espionage against the IDF on the one hand, and Palestinian security services that commit murder and support jihad on the other?

Just as Ad Kan’s revelations indicate that law breaking, while not intrinsic to the operations of anti-Zionist, EU-funded Israeli groups, so it would seem that while not intrinsic to anti-Zionist foreign policies, governments that are hostile to Israel tend to have incoherent and incompetent policies for contending with the threat of jihad.

This of course, is eminently predictable. After all, if you believe that Israel is the cause of the pathologies of the Islamic world, then you will likely be blind to the nature of the jihadist threat and the danger it poses to your nation.

Following the ISIS strikes in Brussels, both Israeli and American security experts spoke bitterly of the ineptitude of Belgian security services. It is not that the forces themselves are incompetent. Rather, the experts said, their political leadership refuses to allow them to take the actions necessary to protect their country.

The Belgians, like their European brethren generally, refuse to deal with jihad. Instead of acknowledging and dealing forthrightly with the phenomenon, they seek every possible excuse to ignore it.

According to senior government officials, the Belgians are among the most vociferous foes of Israel in the EU. Europe’s obsessive castigation of Israel is a central aspect of their jihad avoidance strategy. If Israel is to blame for everything, then they can save themselves by pouring billions of euros on the PA and by funding Israeli anti-Zionist subversives.

This position is of course irrational and by clinging to it, the Europeans have enabled the jihadist forces arrayed against them to gather and grow…

IRAN: Will there be three kings and then a fourth?

“Now then, I tell you the truth: Three more kings will appear in Persia, and then a fourth, who will be far richer than the others.” Daniel 11:2, NIV

As I am writing this new book I keep running across several places where there are foreshadows prior to fulfillments and in other places fulfillments first and then “aftershadows.”

For example, Alexander the Great can be considered a foreshadow of the Turkish leader of the future Sunni Confederacy during the Third Signpost. We know fulfillment of the Daniel 8 goat is here in the end times because of Daniel 8:17, :19 and :26.

And then there are “aftershadows” as in Daniel 11:2. (I didn’t find a word that was to my satisfaction and so I am using “aftershadows.”) Indeed that verse was completely and to the letter fulfilled by the kings of Persia after Cyrus: Cambyses, Bardiya, Darius I, and…

Pat Schatzline: prophetic message for 2016 on ‘The Lord’s joyous shout’

It’s not unusual for the Lord to direct my attention online and, as explained below, the following message from Patrick Schatzline is no exception – click title for original:

THE LORD WILL SHOUT IN 2016!

The year 2016 will be a year of reformation for the believer. I have never felt such a deep stirring to bring forth a message concerning a new year! For several days I have felt a deep impression from the Lord that I deliver a prophetic word for the year 2016. Each day I have sat on an old church bench that came from New London, Connecticut. This old pew sat in a church that experienced the Great Awakening in the 1740’s. As I sat in the pew to pray I would hear over and over the Lord say to me, “Son, I will shout over my people in 2016!” I have never written a prophetic word concerning a new year; yet, I have personally been deeply grieved over the last several months. While I hold onto the vision of the Remnant Awakening I also know that time is running out. In 2015 we have seen much of the diabolical plan of Satan begin to reveal itself bolder than ever before. We saw marriage redefined by an over reaching court, Isis take more ground, the exposure of Planned Parenthood’s selling of baby body parts, and many of the main stream Christian movements move closer towards the euthanasia of the Holy Spirit movement. But, I am here to announce, “all is not lost!” Wake-up and prepare yourself for a new day.

As I have already stated, I heard the Lord say over and over to me, “Son I will shout over my people in 2016!” This stirred me so deeply, because I once heard a powerful quote by C. S. Lewis, “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”[1] I also began to study the places in the Bible where God shouts. Here is a verse that declares the Lord’s shout in Psalms 47:5-6, “God went up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.” (MEV)

I have personally heard this shout on several occasions. Once, was in the middle of the night in Kingman, Arizona, when God awakened me in my hotel room. It was March 7, 2011, at 3:30 in the morning, and the Lord informed me to write my first book called, Why is God so mad at me? This interruption changed everything. I also heard the Lord say to me in July of 2014 the term, “Ah Sovereign, Lord.” This became a message of repentance and also a chapter in my last book. My wife, Karen, also had this experience with her first book. I also believe for many of us that God waits till the stillness of the night to awaken us, because during the day we speak more than we listen. The Bible says in Psalms 78:65, “Then the Lord awoke as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man who shouts because of wine.” (MEV)

I asked the Lord what it meant that He would shout over His people in 2016. He led me to Psalms 89:14-15, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth shall go before Your presence. Blessed are the people who know the joyful shout. They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your presence.” (MEV) The shout of the Lord is “joyful” to those who know His ways! I then heard Father say,

“I have heard the cries of the righteous”, and He is declaring respite for His children. “My shout will cause the enemy to cower and take refuge from my glory.” Then He said, “Deliver a message to my people”.

The following is what I felt the Lord has told me to deliver to you:

2016 will be a year of reclamation, restoration, revolution and revival. The righteous will experience an unprecedented awakening of those whom have grown weary and tired in the battle. The righteous whom have lost their will to fight will suddenly be endued with power as never before. They will be given visions and dreams. They will suddenly find themselves with opportunities that have caused Heaven to smile at their obedience. Doors will swing wide open that no man can shut. God is handing out parchment and scrolls in prayer closets to those who know His heart. The parchments are announcements of what the Lord is about to do in the land, and these scrolls have hidden in them the keys to the kingdom of God. The Lord is clothing His righteous ones with humility and boldness. The Lord has reserved for Himself a Holy Remnant that know His voice. These are those whom have decided to go deeper and walk out His precepts. Favor will be upon their heads. They will suddenly find access to places once considered locked, and they will walk with supernatural influence.

There will be much civil unrest across America. The civil unrest will be caused by different political and social movements. It will look like the late 60’s. This will cause the righteous to stand up and say enough! God will awaken the mom movement. Mothers will stand up and declare leave our children alone. Their passion will be to tell culture, government and politicians that they will not stand by and watch their children’s identity be stolen. If they listen to the Lord they will be more powerful than the suffrage movement. These women will not be led by celebrities, but by prayer warriors.

God will visit the churches that have and are declaring His holiness and the pure Gospel. They will experience supernatural growth. Even churches that many have said will never grow will suddenly become shining voices in their cities. Waves of His glory will roll through the services like a fog in the early morning. The services will be marked with repentance and miracles. There will be a mass exodus from the churches that do not preach the whole council of God. Prayer and intercession will once again mark houses of worship. God is causing new wells to spring up. Children’s ministries services will resound with the sound of worship, gifts of the Spirit and miraculous moves of God. There will be a renewed call to evening worship in places that are hungry for more. A new sound of worship will come forth from psalmists. This will be a sound that is birthed by Heaven. God will awaken older and retired ministers to realize that their job is not complete. They will be endued with power to once again proclaim God’s truth. Youth services will no longer be about the crowd or the party atmosphere, but rather sacred assemblies where God will ignite a fresh fire.

Righteous church leaders will suddenly find their physical and spiritual selves renewed with wings like eagles. They will be cured of disease and find themselves resting like never before. Mentally leaders will find that depression has lost its grip on their lives. They will brim with fresh vision. They will also see their households refreshed. Their marriages will glow with renewed love, intimacy and spiritual bonding. Their children will become enamoured with the joy of the Lord. Prodigal children will return to the front doors to once again embrace the awesomeness of God. The Lord will bless their homes with uncanny finances. Many of these leaders will be reminded of prophecies and promises from the Lord as He brings them into fruition. These leaders will also write books birthed in the prayer closet.

Warning: For the leaders who no longer preach a message of conviction and truth, and those who declare their pre-packaged humanistic messages, their words will not go farther than the pulpit. It will be as if the people in the congregation have earplugs keeping them from hearing. These leaders are on trial in the court of God’s kingdom, and if not careful they will be found in contempt. Even now Father is visiting many of these leaders, and they are being given an opportunity to repent. If they do not repent they will find themselves staring at empty chairs in their palatial structures. Their places of leadership will be vacant. God is shouting over them.

God is visiting homes both Christian and secular. God is restoring broken marriages. Family altars and times of worship will be released in homes that have grown stagnate and comfortable. God is breaking off lethargy. There will be a renewed sense of conviction in homes that have allowed God to be locked outside. Prayer rooms will take over rooms reserved for guests. For the houses that are willing to restore God to His rightful place they will feel Him walking through their home. Healing will be in their water. Fathers and mothers must anoint their families. Worship will come from the bedrooms of children. Father’s will have their voices restored as leaders in homes where they were subjugated by culture. They will rise early and pray. Prodigal fathers and mothers will return to their place of leadership as the Lord’s grace calls to them.

The gatherings of the “unknowns” will take place across America. These gatherings will be planned and impromptu. They will be powerful movements that lead people to repentance and adoration. They will not be gatherings with well-known speakers or worship bands, but rather those whom have been awakened by the awe of the Lord will lead them. I believe that the Remnant Awakening will be a part of this.

In 2016 there will be a great awakening in parts of Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and parts of the USA. The enemies of the cross will rise against these movements and in return they will experience great calamity and disease. Their evil plans will be exposed in supernatural ways. Israel will once again turn back the tide of Islam, and its borders will be enhanced. America will experience several close calls by terrorists and all but one will be thwarted. This will cause our nation to once again cry out to God. A renewed sense of God’s sovereignty will over take many communities, and with that people will awaken to the lies of the secularist. God’s people will suddenly stand in opposition to the lies of the enemy. They will find themselves marching as if to war.

There will be many outbreaks of God’s glory on university and college campuses. Christian universities that no longer stand behind their creed and original plan will have opportunity to return to the Master’s Plan! God will use the quiet and meek to be a powerful voice of freedom to those whom are blinded by the enemy.

There will also be a holy awakening of God’s love and deliverance within the homosexual community. There will be those whom have experienced and know God’s presence that will be driven to their knees. God is fiercely jealous of His kidnapped children. He is answering the prayers of righteous parents who are demanding that their seed be returned.

USA Presidential Election: There will be a major surprise during the USA presidential election. Christians must pray for God to show them the right candidate. They must not listen to the hype, but ask for discernment. The church must pray for the Lord’s will to be done.

Finances: The global market will grow increasingly unstable. Yet, the Lord is releasing finances to the righteous. Conviction will fall upon many wealthy to sow into ministry. This will allow the churches and ministries that the Lord trusts to experience financial growth for the vision. The camels are coming to the places where they can drink fresh water. We will see the systematic reduction of large ministries that have lost their compass.

Lastly, the Lord declares that,

“His shout will not be heard by all, but only by those whom have made themselves attentive to His ear!”

He is close to the broken-hearted and your cries are before Him. The shout coming from Heaven is preparation for the final shout found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16,

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” (MEV)

I challenge every believer to pray and fast! I believe that the Lord is giving us an opportunity to change our world. We know that in Psalms 103 it says, “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy” (MEV). Yet, we also know that in Psalms 7:11, “God is a righteous judge, and God has indignation every day” (MEV).

The Lord is shouting! Are we listening? Revelation 2:17, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except he who receives it.” (MEV)

We must awaken. It is a new day! The Remnant is rising!

Footnote: In view of a busy time leading into the holydays I’d intended republishing the previous post only and nothing else last Wednesday. But upon getting online we found friends had sent an email headed ‘Joy’ with a link to USAF flash-mob. I realised it should go on this blog before the Christmas blessing, thus postponing that to Christmas Eve.

After copying video and modifying text I dashed off a new title because its terse one word needed improving upon. So I found myself quickly referring to our Father’s joy in His Son.

After publishing it I checked my emails before closing down and found Patrick had sent a link to the above message. So I printed a hard-copy to mull over at leisure – only then did I read that message is based upon the Lord’s joyful shout! LOL 🙂

Surely the Lord’s using this ‘coincidence’ to confirm and stress the importance of this word for 2016!

Update on Update 2 – Islamist terror

It’s intriguing that whilst I was writing my unplanned previous post about Saudi Arabia that news was breaking on King Salman’s action against Islamic terrorism.

Debka Breaking News reports,

‘new counter-terrorism coalition announced Tuesday by Saudi Arabia, includes 34 nations with large and established armies such as Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt, war-torn countries such as Libya and Yemen and African nations under terror assault, such as Mali, Chad, Somalia and Nigeria. But Shiite Iran is not a member, nor Iraq which has a large Shiite majority. The new alliance would be Saudi-led and its operations center based in Riyadh. It will be committed to fighting terrorism which “is forbidden by Islam as a serious violation of human dignity and rights, especially the right to life and the right to security.”
‘DEBKAfile: No organizations are mentioned by name in the statement – including the Islamic State.The durability of this alliance is widely compared to that of the 65-member anti-ISIS coalition often hailed by President Obama – long on paper, short in action.’

Why this September is special: Update 2 – Islam

You may recall that September was a very busy month prophecy-wise (see Archive). One special day brought two distinct surprises.

In fact, there wasn’t opportunity to finish blogging about that month but, in view of an event on that significant date – as well as what’s since happened relating to September Update 1: Judaism – I now need to start covering the changes within Islam:

Anniversary of 9/11 Atrocity

On the anniversary of this century’s ‘day of infamy’ for New York I noted another event seemed to connect into the collapse of the Twin Towers – as well as possibly being of God, or was it simply coincidence? Lightning from a severe thunderstorm in Mecca struck a tall crane, which collapsed into the Grand Mosque thereby killing and injuring hundreds.

The construction engineer is quoted as saying, “It was an act of God”. A ‘very saddened’ British imam is reputed to have said, “It’s a blessing in disguise for those killed”. Four days later Saudi Arabia’s King Salman suspended contracts for the construction company, which is owned by the Bin Ladin family!

Nevertheless, it ‘struck’ me that it’s a mirror ‘action replay’ on the 14th anniversary of the attack upon America, inspired as it was by the teachings and practices of the Meccan founder of Islam. That is, the very heart of the homeland and faith of those modern religious plotters and perpetrators was visited by an almost similar ‘toppling of a tower’. Also, my first impression was of The Almighty throwing down the gauntlet to confront satan.

It’s far, far too uncanny not to be of poignant significance!

Also and especially, I couldn’t but reflect upon the revelation I received 23 years ago upon the ‘fall of Islam’ (as in last December’s Fulfilled Prophecies 2). My understanding is that many Muslims would become disillusioned with their beliefs and seek a better concept and relationship with the One True God, as happened when those in communist USSR wanted a better and prosperous life. Thus, in 1989 they dismantled the iconic barrier between East and West – the Berlin Wall.

Readers of my post on Rosh Hashanah may have noticed Johnny Enlow’s reference in the prophetic word he delivered,

“Since 9/11 of 2001 it has seemed that radical Islam has become activated and empowered as never before. The Kingdom reality is that more Muslims have encountered and embraced Jesus since 2001 than in the entire history of Islam which is well over 1000 years.”

July/August’s edition of IDEA (Evangelical Alliance’s magazine) had featured this news as ‘The largest spiritual migration in history’, including an article by researcher David Garrison. In A Wind in the House of Islam he refers to 9/11 as ‘a hinge’! (Click image to ‘look inside’ this excellent, informative book.)

Dr. Garrison states this new global study reveals that the first Muslim movement to Christ did not occur until the 19th century, over 1000 years after Muhammad’s message first echoed from the minarets of Medina. This first movement was followed by a further ten Muslim movements to Christ in the late 20th century. But something now is happening. In the first 12 years of the 21st century, we have already seen more than 60 new Muslim movements to Christ! (For more visit WindintheHouse.org) He defines a ‘movement’ as at least 1,000 baptised believers or 100 new church starts.`

The ‘Invisible Hand’ reappears at another anniversary: spooky!

A footnote to the recent post on accelerating eschatology implied something weird about this blog’s 2nd anniversary. And an identical event happened for the 4th anniversary on Saturday 21st November last – news of Iran rehearsing a military attack upon Jerusalem!

But hasn’t an international agreement been agreed with the Iranian regime, you may ask? As many well-informed have repeatedly warned: that doesn’t change their radical ambition to eliminate Israel. Although of late the focus has been elsewhere in the Middle-East, the Iranian leadership adheres to and works toward the manifestation of an extremely radical Shiite eschatology (see Further Reading below).

The Invisible Hand

And that’s exactly what got me intrigued about End-times as a non-Christian thirty years ago. If you’re unfamiliar with my story let me recount from Welcome what and why it caught my attention.:

As a part-time editor/publisher I was well placed in the mid-1980s for a friend who ran a mail-order book business to give me an unusual new book on geopolitics, The Invisible Hand by Victor Dunstan published by his Megiddo Press (1984).

This gift claimed the Bible held coded and plain-text details of prophecies relating to the British Mandate in Palestine, as well as giving historical details of the Mandate.

I flicked through the book whilst watching a TV documentary about the then current Iraq-Iran war and noticed its many references to the significance of Jerusalem. Then I heard the narrator refer to elite units from opposing forces rehearsing together an attack upon Jerusalem – despite being at war with one another! What a staggering coincidence!!

So I looked and saw what purported to be a video of such an attack – my jaw dropped! Wouldn’t yours? This was a book to take seriously. It grabbed and got my full attention!

Consequently, I became more alert to Middle-Eastern and globally related events, which all suggest things may not be as they seem at first glance – or as reported in the media (certainly not the BBC). I was amazed to learn many events are of Biblical significance. Bemused, therefore, I began to watch as events unfolded…[NB: on Monday I blogged on this acceleration and dozens of recent news headlines in USA relating to holy writ!]

Back to the book: Victor Dunstan estimated all the prophecies would come to a climax in 1992 with Russia being the lead villain against Israel. However, he didn’t foresee the collapse of communism in 1989!

Yet 1992 proved to be pertinent because the ‘Middle East Peace Process’ had just got under way in October 1991 and led to the Oslo Accords of 1993. After the millennium I found that John McTernan and William Koenig had followed prophetical developments since 1986 and the mid-1990’s respectively. In 1996 William published his work as Koenigs’ International News (now Watch.org) and became an accredited White House correspondent in 2001, the year they co-authored Israel: The Blessing or the Curse. They’ve written other works and independently continue monitoring daily events, as occasionally covered in this blog – see tags Koenig, McTernan.

Also, although the Soviet Union had dissolved into separate republics, the world soon found motherland Russia regaining its prominence under Vladimir Putin. The re-birth is so strategically significant that Putin ousted Obama last year as the world’s most powerful person (Forbes Magazine).

Therefore, Victor’s prognostication about the Soviet Union seemed to be mistaken BUT, in fact, Russia itself has increasingly come into the picture and is now the dominant power in the Middle-East.

We should also note what Victor foretold over 30 years ago about Islam. He writes in chapter 12 of The Invisible Hand,

“Let us make no mistake; Islam is about to become the most powerful empire the world has EVER SEEN.”

His chapter summary includes this foresight:

“We are about to witness a mighty and almost unbelievable upsurge in Islam. Though we see the first signs of an Islamic revival, that revival has a long way to go but it’s going that ‘long way’ very quickly.”

How uncannily true!

So upon launching Richard’s Watch on 21st November 2011, I introduced myself and told about that book. Little did I suspect that what happened decades ago would keep popping up on every alternate anniversary of that date!

The intriguing events around the 2nd anniversary are recounted in The Invisible Hand Re-appears! Preceding that I reported a Weird mix-up resurrected the blog’s Welcome.

Next, on the actual anniversary of 21st November 2013, the Washington Beacon reported Iran Launches ‘Massive’ War Drills – Codename: ‘Towards Jerusalem’! (Within that week I read president Obama secretly agreed to elevate Iran to seventh world power.)

Moreover, my trying to write and publish anything about Iran was severely frustrated by internet connection problems with my blogging platform WordPress, as told the next day.

21 November 2015

Now on the blog’s 4th anniversary I found upon reading John McTernan’s Insights that he reported upon ‘Iran Guards Simulates Capture of Al-Aqsa Mosque’. (Link not available but The Times of Israel has Iran trains for capture of Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa but uses Dome of the Rock model.)

John comments, “Iran, like so many other nations, has gone “mad” over Jerusalem. Just before the first Gulf War, Sadam Hussein went “mad” over Jerusalem. He fantasized that he was like the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar and was going to destroy Israel, capture Jerusalem and take the Jews captive to Iraq. Now it is Iran’s turn for destruction. Iran is now “mad” over Jerusalem and will suffer the same fate as Sadam.”

AND there are ongoing issues with WordPress functionality once again!!! (Not connection but much bigger issues over using a new editing facility.)

Spooky?

Not at all. Such repetitive, ‘mirror-image’ coincidences must be more than that – I call them ‘God-incidences’. The Living Lord must surely be pointing out the huge biblical significance to these military events and the Iranian leadership’s true, apocalyptic mission.

WE ARE BEING WARNED WITH PRECISE REGULARITY!

AND there’s a quickening pace in other eschatological events as noted a few days ago!

Is Obama complicit in the persecution of Christians?

The claims made by Lord George Weidenfeld about president Obama’s inept Middle-East policy only gloss the surface of what a multitude of highly informed experts have been continually saying – including Russian president Putin, as below!.

It’s notable, for example, that on the very same day that interview was broadcast one expert (who warned of the likelihood of the 9/11 atrocity) published his ‘One-Minute Guide’ on POTUS’ foreign policy.

That and this peer’s preference to assist Iraqi and Syrian Christians escape barbarity, deserve deeper consideration in the light of recent events.

Without writing in depth on this I’d refer anyone who’s interested to read the following by Raymond Ibrahim, a few of whose writings I’ve reposted here on this blog. The last of these is on the US’ policy of preventing Christian testimony of persecution. So let me direct you to some of his latest on our matter-in-hand:

Leading publisher contradicts BBC HARDtalk on Obama, Mid-East & terrorism

An extraordinary interview popped onto our TV screen last night after a dvd closed down. We rarely bother with ‘talking-heads’; however, we stopped in our tracks upon hearing a question on the persecution of Christians. Joining as the first question was asked, we remained ‘glued’ to the dialogue.

News-makers and personalities around the world are interviewed in-depth on BBC World Services’ and News channel’s HARDtalk by presenter Stephen Sackur. Last night he interviewed British peer Lord Weidenfeld, who made London his home for the past eight decades after escaping nazi Austria and the Holocaust just before World War II. He became one of Britain’s best known publishers of high quality, prize-winning fiction and non-fiction (see Weidenfeld&Nicolson).

The programme was billed: ‘Now 96 years old, his life says much about the modern history of Britain, Europe and the Jewish people. But as he reflects, is he filled with hope or something darker?’. It reflects Sakur’s stance, quite contrary to that of his guest! And he didn’t cave in to the presenter’s polite grilling…

The opening question was about why he’d set up Operation Safe Haven, as publicised last July (eg. see Daily Mail article). His answer is that it’s in gratitude for and repayment of his debt to Christians because they’d helped him and his family to escape Austria, as well as when problems arose in pre-war Britain.

As the Operations objective is being purely to assist Iraqi and Syrian Christians, Sackur objects by referring to USA’s reservations about helping and says such help should be humanitarian only: his work shouldn’t be religiously selective but include Muslims too because they’re also suffering.

Weidenfeld recognises it’s an important point and counters by referring to his inter-faith work in improving relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims. The presenter then pushes for the logical consequence of such cooperation by rescuing those of any faith.

But the guest is candid and forthright in saying Christians in those lands “get a raw deal, they don’t get sufficient support” and because of his personal experience wants to repay them.

“Let me put it bluntly” retorts Sackur and posits a position of his guest refusing to help those in the migrating masses who are not Christians.

Weidenfeld is forthright about this ‘academic question’, reminds him of the Communist and Nazi persecutions and that nothing is being done by the Western world to help the ancient Christian world. He contradicts Sackur’s typically BBC pro-Palestinian and anti-Christian moronic mind-set,

“A great deal is being done for the Muslims…logistically they’re in the situation and their safe havens are pretty close by and a huge amount of money is available for them – but the Christians get the raw deal: that’s what I’m saying!”

Not content, Sackur pushes his point by referring to Europe and problems here only for his guest to be equally blunt,

“The Western world is in a bad moral shape and, I’m afraid, I blame the leader of the Western world, President, Obama for a lot of what’s happening now”

“You can’t surely blame him for Europe’s failure to lead on this (migrant) crisis…?” blurts the Beeb’s man.

“I blame him for having created situations in the Middle-East and undulating, uncertain, weak foreign policy that has done a great deal to bring about this present situation. I could go into great detail on this…”

As regards Europe and jihadist attacks they discuss the safety of Jews, the call for their return to their original, ancient homeland (now the state of Israel), anti-Semitism and the roots of terrorism. In view of the peer’s connections and experience in Germany a good discussion develops. Regarding anti-Semitism he thinks,

“There are two roots of anti-Semitism: a religious root and an economical root….the first is no longer valid for people don’t say, “You killed the Saviour” – so that root died out in the 18th Century. The economic root is also not so valid because, if you look at the phone directories of most European capitals many (Jewish) bankers, lawyers and dentists no longer exist there because of Auschwitz.

“So it is Jihadism – the hatred of Jews brought about by radical Islam. There’s no question about that! It’s anti the Jewish state, it’s anti-Zionism – that’s what it is really.”

Sackur notices his disquiet over the Obama administration and asks what’s made him so angry. Having spent time in the States, Weidenfeld responds that,

“…he is someone who has no talent or knowledge about foreign affairs. He may be a good orator, possibly quite well equipped to deal with home affairs, but he hasn’t got a feeling for foreign affairs. He is naïve. He builds up Putin into a position of where he’s a mixture of Disraeli and Bismarck as arbiter in the Middle-East; in Syria he made him the man for opening the debate with Iran to his own disadvantage – and I think he has weakened, he has alienated, some of our allies to a point of great bitterness. So I make him responsible for a lot of what’s going on today in the Middle-East.”

The presenter offers, as though speaking for that administration, their objection based upon delivery of democratic mandate, getting out of the M-East and making a deal with Iran, which earns the peer’s gentle but forthright rebuke,

“With Iran it is a very dangerous situation now because – although there may be a way of curbing the atomic ambitions – you’re dealing with a theocratic government of extreme violence – and the present president just has a better table-manner than his predecessor – but I think that by filling their coffers now you make it possible for them to support Hezbollah, to support all kinds of extremists and you’re probably going to have another intifada or full-fledged war before long because the Iranians are again going to be on the warpath.”

U.S. officially blocks Christian testimony of Islamist persecution

An article quoted in the previous post on the violent persecution of believers asks, “Is this the end of Christianity in the Middle-East?” In his answer, Joel Rosenberg reminds us of Bible passages foretelling this predicament in the lead-up to the return of Jesus Christ, and the ensuing, extensive evangelisation across that region.

A couple of hours later the Middle-East Forum sent an excerpt from Raymond Ibrahim’s monthly update on the endemic persecution of Christians in Muslim states around the world. As one of the expert sources I introduced in my earliest blogs and have since quoted, his site is featured on my ‘blog-roll’ of Links. Born of Egyptian Coptic parents, Raymond explores the intersection of Christianity and Islam. Author of The Al-Qaeda Reader and of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War of Christians, he translates pertinent Arabic and Egyptian news that never reaches the West.

Read his full article here about how the U.S. State Department blocked the issue of visas to Christian nuns and leaders from Iraq, Nigeria and Syria thereby preventing their telling America about the violent persecution in those nations by Islamists. Without any shadow of a doubt, this is the fruit of the Obama administration’s anti-Christian bias.

Ever since expressing reservations over Obama’s Cairo Speech to the Muslim world in 2009, and subsequent espousal of the Muslim Brotherhood and appointment of several of it members within his administration, I’ve noticed POTUS’ deep reluctance to stand up for Christians – plus his misunderstanding of the Gospel and scripture, as well as activities contrary to decisions of the Church’s first council in Jerusalem (Acts 15:20).

In that email I queried several times, “If he really were a Christian…”, eg. after quoting his “As a student of history”, I noted: ‘If Obama really were a well-informed Christian and student of history then he would have told the truth about the founding of Israel…’

Six years later, I again refer to Rick Joyner’s Discerning the Times, the prophetic validity of which will be recognised by those in the real church of Jesus Christ:

This new unity in the church is being driven because of foreboding created by the demeanor and laws being passed by the Obama Administration, which seem to be specifically designed to open doors for persecuting the church. Even though it is very sad to see this happening in our nation, which was begun and built by those seeking freedom, especially religious freedom, nevertheless these present trends are working to strengthen and galvanize the church like possibly nothing has ever done before. (Emphasis RB)

Update on Cameron’s speech – diplomatic/military component against IS

At long last a politician has punched a ‘PC’ idol in the teeth! (PC = political correctness aka. political clap-trap)

Contributing Editor to The Commentator, Clare George-Hilley, has summarised David Cameron’s speech and the strap-line to her report reads,

Prime Minister David Cameron has announced new measures to crack down on Islamic extremism at home and abroad. For far too long, political correctness has allowed this wicked ideology to flourish. Cameron’s remarks may seem late in the day to some, but he’s on the right track at last.

She opens Cameron campaign against Islamic extremism is long overdue with,

‘Today, in front of British Muslims in Birmingham, David Cameron made his first major domestic speech on how to tackle Islamist extremism in our country. It is poignant that Cameron chose to give his speech in Birmingham, the place where the schools were infiltrated as part of the Trojan Horse plot, where extremists sought to indoctrinate the minds of innocent children…

‘For many years, I and many other commentators, political activists and counter-terrorism experts have been recommending and asking for measures that the government can tangibly apply to combat Islamic extremism in Britain and abroad. The warning signs have been clearly visible in our country for many years…’

After noting political tolerance of intolerance allowed extremists to exploit our freedom of speech laws to preach hatred on our streets, Clare covers her favourite part of the speech (emphases mine):

‘The best, and most important, part of his speech was when he finally came round to the notion that violent extremism exists at the apex of a broader Islamist narrative:

“It may begin with hearing about the so-called Jewish conspiracy, and then develop into hostility to the West and fundamental liberal values before finally becoming a cultish attachment to death. Put another way, the extremist worldview is the gateway, and then violence is the ultimate destination,” the prime minister said.

‘Not so many years ago, such (obviously correct and pertinent) remarks would have drawn charges of “Islamophobia” in some quarters. Cameron deserves praise for moving the debate in the right direction, however late in the day it may now be.’

Diplomatic Component

The timing and content of this major speech by David Cameron must surely be directly connected with action being taken against those who murder British citizens and others – and apparently with the outcome of last week’s nuclear power deal with Iran (aka. the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – JCPOA).

One of the signatories to the JCPOA, British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, went to Israel to tell PM Netanyahu officially of the agreement’s full terms. But he went under a mistaken understanding. He presumed Israel doesn’t want any deal whatsoever with Iran, just a permanent stand-off or continuing conflict – and said as much in Parliament before leaving (as here). So Netanyahu took him to task during their public meeting in Jerusalem:

“Israelis know better than anyone else the cost of permanent conflict with Iran and it is wrong to suggest that Israel wants such an outcome. We seek a genuine and effective diplomatic solution,”

“The alternative to this deal is not war. The alternative is a better deal that would roll back Iran’s military nuclear program and tie the easing of restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program to changes in Iran’s behaviour. That’s the kind of deal that would be welcomed in Tel Aviv and here in Israel’s capital Jerusalem.”

This morning another part of that meeting in Jerusalem emerged in connection with Isil – and how the nuclear deal means Iran will be taking more action against Isil, as reported exclusively by DebkaFile:

‘Although the Secretary’s formal mission was to elucidate the accord to Israel’s leaders, his real purpose was to hand him a letter from British Prime Minister David Cameron. In this letter, Cameron explained that his decision to extend RAF bombing missions from Iraq to Syria (depending on parliament’s approval in September) had nothing to do with Washington’s policies, but was solely motivated by the Islamist threat hanging over British national security.
‘Britain, he said, was not acting in support of the Syrian-Iranian-Hizballah lineup against the Islamist group; nor was it part of the Obama administration’s turnabout in favor of supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad. British bombers would target ISIS in the UK’s own interests.

Note the comment about yet another of Obama’s turnarounds – in favour of Syria! This is because of Iran’s close interest in supporting their puppet Assad. Please read that Debka report to appreciate what’s started, or already happening, on the ground.

Is Debka’s claim about British diplomatic/military action credible? They are the ones who broke the news of secret US-Iran back-channels communications being set up soon after Obama’s inauguration – and prior to his infamous Cairo speech to the Muslim word. (Read Today’s Importance in History, 18 May 2009 and note especially the Arab world’s alarm at Obama’s activity. They were vindicated by last week’s nuclear deal.) Therefore, there are reasonable grounds for regarding the Debka report as reliable.

So we now glimpse what’s happening behind closed doors and how determined David Cameron is to deal with and, if at all possible, remove Islamist extremism here.

Political common-sense emerges on Islamist threat

The Times front-page headline on a major speech Prime Minister Cameron is making today:

“When they say that these are wronged Muslims getting revenge on western wrong- doing, lets remind them: from Kosovo to Somalia, countries like Britain have stepped in the save Muslim people from massacres. It’s groups like Isil, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram that are the ones murdering Muslims….etc.” [Murdoch papers require subscription.]

The PM’s announcement is long overdue in view of nationwide reaction to last month’s appalling massacre of 30 British holidaymakers in Sousse, Tunisia (see Wikipedia), and the fact that Islamists declared war on the West a long time ago! He is delivering upon his statement in the House of Commons after Sousse for the UK to be “intolerant of intolerance”. (NB: Contemporaneous killings were committed in France and Kuwait too – see The West’s war against Jihadi terrorism is just beginning.)

In his citing events from the 1990s caused by maniacal Muslims, I’m sure Cameron is well aware it’s been periodically endemic since the foundation of their religion in the Dark Ages. An insight into a global satanic strategy covered that historic fact in depth a few months ago. There, we looked at the cause of the Medieval crusades as a reaction to Muslim violence – not vice versa! – and how warped thinking poisoned the Greek-based mind-sets of liberals.

In addition to those earlier facts I’d also refer the PM to the total estimated murders by Muslims since 9/11: over 26,400! (The Religion of Peace database.) BUT this may be undercounted and need doubling, as determined by the BBC’s ‘thorough analysis’.

Two years ago I blogged about the PM’s comment “A war against al-Qaeda could last decades”, and considered it further in a subsequent post wherein I wrote:

Winston Churchill foresaw of the danger of militant Islam in 1899! His trenchant opinion, based upon personal military service in The Sudan, speaks with great insight and I quote only the portion pertinent to this post.::

“…Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. Regular readers may recall the eschatological role of Iran was drawn to my attention 30 years ago as a non-Christian. I’d been given a new book on history and geopolitics that claimed the Bible held coded and plaintext prophecies on the British Mandate in Palestine (The Invisible Hand).

Whilst watching a documentary on TV about the Iraq-Iran war, I flicked through the book and noticed there were lots of references to the significance of Jerusalem. Prophetic points on the SCOTUS marriage decision

In view of the suppression of free speech, Friday’s decision on equal marriage by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has ramifications beyond America.

I’m so pleased not to be alone in understanding the possibility of a spiritual ‘crossover’ effect from here across the Atlantic, as asked in Does a spiritual yet political trend link UK and USA? In the prophetic word Cindy Jacobs brought for the UK whilst passing through Heathrow in May, the Lord is exhorting us,

“If you will stand up now and be the voice to the nations this awakening that you have prayed for is on its way; it is coming, it is coming like a mighty rushing wind…this is the season where I am giving you a loud voice, Body of Christ, and if you will speak now I will amplify that voice and it is going to begin to tip the nation. If you miss your window you will not have the effect…” (read in full here).

Therefore, it’s now time for followers of Jesus Christ to stand up, speak and dissent for the sake of not-yet believers and our society – even if civil disobedience is necessary, as in the anti-Vietnam war and anti-racial segregation demonstrations of yesteryear.

Consider some points from what little reading I’ve done on this and I thank a couple of readers for informing me. Be warned – these tend to highlight the culpability of churches in failing to follow Jesus properly:

The Church Disappears

Tony Puccio of Tucson blogs about a most accurate observation on 1st July,

“I was shown a vision 07/01/2015 where I saw a church situated in what I will call a jungle of vegetation. There was vegetation all around but the church building stood out and was recognized as a church. Then I began to see a vine creep its way toward the church building. It was very small and most probably gone unnoticed had I not seen it and my attention drawn to it in the vision. The vine was left unchecked and eventually it covered the church building, although you could still make out the shape of the church it no longer stood out as it once did. Finally, the vine grew so dense and thick that the church disappeared altogether and you could not see the church any longer.

“The creeping vine is worldliness and it was allowed to creep into the church unchecked and most likely unnoticed. It was allowed to grow until it totally engulfed the church. The church went from a building that stood out for all to see to one that blended in with its surroundings to finally disappearing from view altogether.

“The vine got its nourishment from the outside and not from the inside.”

I read this earlier upon logging into WordPress and a short while later an email brought directly related information, as follows:

A Surprising Prophetic Word

William Smith in Bournemouth area sent a link to this Prophetic Insight from Charisma, which I quote in part but deserves reading in full. Jeremiah Johnson sought Father on the SCOTUS decision and believes the Lord said to him (emphases added):

“In the natural, the Supreme Court justices have just legalized homosexual marriage in America, but little do they know that they also just authorized an awakening of the Spirit in My bride. For know that now is the time to turn inward, it is a time of repentance and fasting for My people. Has their laziness and blindness on the issue of sexual immorality in their midst not given the homosexual agenda its true power? America has now legalized homosexual immorality because the American church legalized heterosexual immorality first.”

Then came a vision of intercessors in which he heard their prayers and was asked:

“Do you know what’s wrong with these prayers Jeremiah? They are all focused on the call for America to repent when I have called My bride to repent! You must tell the intercessors to shift their focus from America to My bride. Their self-righteous hearts and blindness to their own sin is a stench in my nostrils. The issues coming forth in the United States is not an American problem, it’s an American Church problem.”

Therefore, Jeremiah writes,

“America is in a crisis, but the American church is in a greater crisis. We are and will continue to reap what we have sown and that is seeds of silence and tolerance on the key issues of our day that have come before the Father as sin…While I do believe that these individuals are choosing to blatantly sin and will be judged by God Himself for their behavior (Romans 14:12), we have an obligation as believers in Jesus Christ to look within our own lives and in our own spiritual communities and ask the Spirit of truth to search us inwardly before we begin calling others to accountability (see Psalm 51:6).”

Four Key Things to Consider

In case you haven’t read the re-blog of Joel Rosenberg’s remarks on the implications of SCOTUS’ decision let me briefly cover his four main points. Joel asks if Christians may be hyperventilating over the issue. No! “Unfortunately, this is a very big deal and it puts America on a perilous path”.

He draws attention to key things on the Court’s ruling for believers at this critical time:

The Supreme Court is over-reaching its Constitutional authority, and is thus undermining its own legitimacy and pouring gasoline on a highly-politicized issue that will deeply divide Americans for years to come.
It forces 320 million Americans to embrace overnight a radical re-engineering of the entire social compact of marriage that even some of the nation’s most liberal political leaders strongly opposed just a few years ago.
It opens the door for a frontal and massive assault on religious liberty… Christians all over the country who hold to the Biblical definition of marriage are beginning to be taken to court and fined — some are even in danger of losing their businesses and their homes…The 1st Amendment to the Constitution plainly states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” But the Court’s ruling seems to put the un-enumerated “civil right” of a same-sex marriage above the enumerated right of religious freedom…gay political activists are not content with mere legalization of same-sex marriage. They want to force the rest of the country to embrace and support them. Thus, they and their supporters in Washington will likely move aggressively to criminalize the Biblical definition of marriage and to severely penalize those who teach and follow it.
Most troubling, the Court has acted in direct and brazen defiance of the Word of God — painful as it is for me to say it, this will likely accelerate us towards judgment if America does not soon change course.

The Supreme Court v. The Supreme Being

In his inimitable style Rick Joyner is on target in his Prophetic Bulletin #94’s brief on the ‘legal contest’ implicit in this decision and uses ‘three questions’ from US Army Manual for dealing with a crisis, viz.:

What is happening?
What is not happening? (spiritually)
What can we do about it?

In tackling the first question Rick majors upon the foundation of the Union and ‘creeping tyranny’. He opens,

“As the four dissenting justices pointed out, the Supreme Court does not have the constitutional authority to make this decision. First, even though SCOTUS has taken this authority upon itself, it is a usurped authority and nowhere does the Constitution give it this authority. The authority to determine the constitutionality of laws was given to Congress, not the courts. We are now suffering under the very tyranny that the founders warned about if the courts ever presumed this authority. Regardless of our position on same-sex marriage, every American should be deeply troubled by the actions of SCOTUS that this case is just the most recent and dramatic.”

From his fine argument I wish to quote only two points made from a global perspective rather than the nationally introspective. This isn’t to imply US laws or policy should be based on what other nations think, but does need to know how they are perceived because it affects international relations. (“It’s been a major wedge driven between the US, Russia and China, as well as Africa and South America. To much of the world, the US and Western Europe now look like Sodom and Gomorrah”.)

On this he writes:

“Paul the Apostle wrote to Titus that even false prophets can sometimes tell the truth (see Titus 1:12-13). Pravda, the Moscow daily newspaper, has been predicting for years that the United States would break up into several pieces just like the Soviet Union. Their reasoning was not based merely on sour grapes, but on the historically proven consequences of the kind of direction in which our government has been going. To date, we have most alarmingly followed the pattern predicted. We really are close to breaking apart.

“Islamists consider America “the great Satan” because of our moral and spiritual debauchery that has made us “a homosexual nation”—so perverted that the only remedy is to wipe us off the face of the earth. Their belief about the U.S. has now been affirmed by this Supreme Court decision. This decision will likely make their recruiting to this cause much easier. This is not the only issue fuelling these groups, but it is a major one.”

Like Joel Rosenberg, Rick concludes his brief with a solid action plan.

Prophetic Warning of a Divided Nation

In The River and The Schism Chuck Pierce refers to having visited the Grand Canyon, which reminded him of a vision received in August 2007 of a coming division within his nation. Another one came in May 2011 about a deteriorating relationship with one of its closest allies – Israel.

We have good Biblical grounds for understanding that, as America treats Israel and Jerusalem, so too will its well-being be guarded – or not. As mentioned before, its initials are in the centre of the capital of Israel; ie. JER-USA-LEM. Therefore, its leaders can either protect the ‘apple of God’s eye’ by holding it together – or else divide it – with all the inherent consequences of Zechariah chapter 2.

3 of 3: US presidents’ actions relate to Daniel’s visions

Ancient Babylon’s king Nebuchadnezzar had a very disturbing dream and demanded that his ‘wise’ men tell him not only what it meant…but also what it actually was!

An impossible task! And they told him so, but in his fury he called for their executions. Questioning the urgency of this, captive Jew and king’s advisor Daniel sought a stay of execution in order to pray for the answer. With friends, Daniel petitioned the Lord and the secret was revealed in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven as follows (as in Daniel 2 per NKJV, emphasis added):

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.

I thank You and praise You,

O God of my fathers;

You have given me wisdom and might,

And have now made known to me what we asked of You,

For You have made known to us the king’s demand.”
With this scripture setting the scene we’ll continue (and close) our consideration of the devil’s attempt to pre-empt the Bible’s ‘end-game’. This time we’ll look at how America may have become involved. As previously, it’s helpful for new readers to know why I’m engaged with this particular issue. (Confirmations it’s of the Lord have come and I may share that personal material soon.)

Writing got irregular throughout February and March. Nina’s sudden immobility meant time for blogging was available only as and when I was free to do so – yet I was blessed it didn’t detract from musing upon and insights into specific themes, especially satanic strategy. An avalanche of related material (which even allowed for the scheduling of my wife’s operation!) ‘nudged’ me into checking my earliest writings. Amazing to see how history cycles around in events I’d written about!
One month ago
First Monday in March brought synchronous, or ‘God-incidental’, information to my in-tray. And into the week I was deluged with physical and mental material. It began with Lion Bite: Watchmen Arise! and a post from Mark Davidson’s The Four Signposts.
[It’s ‘God-incidental’ that Tony Puccio out in Arizona has today posted a vision from last night about Watchmen on the Wall – please read, noting my associated comments. He certainly had no idea of what I was about to write today.]
What Mark published really caught my attention and set me ‘buzzing’ for the week, as though a ‘door’ or ‘gateway’ had opened up for me. When I started writing there was too much for one post and so it would be a 3-part mini-blog. I considered cycles, looked at specific events and their current equivalent.  I referred to what had set me off in the mid-1980s – that’s what amazed me about Mark’s post of Monday 2nd March.
The Invisible Hand
In 1 of 3: the ‘End-game’ gets ramped up another level I outlined how this book published in 1984 had ‘hit me between the yes’!  Later its importance got  ‘coincidentally’ reinforced, as in The Invisible Hand re-appears!

Yet again, it’s significance got flagged by Mark’s post going back to Saddam Hussein’s war with Iran and American involvement. Before we look at this there are some interesting points.

First, look at what author Victor Dunstan foresaw. He opens chapter 12, The Mark of the Beast – 666 which covers Daniel 7 and Revelation 12 & 13, as follows:

‘That we are about to witness some of the most traumatic political events the civilised world has seen is clear from the writings of the ancient seers [ie. OT prophets].

‘Within a few years, according to the prophets, the economy of the civilised world will be operable only by the consent of, and on the terms laid down by, an Islamic Empire which will rule a large part of the earth’s surface.

‘The oil producing nations will be swept by a wave of religious fervour such as not been seen since prophet Mohammed himself inspired the great upsurge of religious, political and militant Islam.’ [Emphases RB]

Doubtless, Dunstan had in mind the experience of outrageous hiking up in oil prices by OPEC in 1970s. Even so, he subsequently stresses,

‘Let us make no mistake; Islam is about to become the most powerful empire the world has EVER SEEN.

His chapter summary includes this accurate prophetic point, made 30 years ago:

‘Though we see the first signs of an Islamic revival, that revival has a long way to go but it’s going that ‘long way’ very quickly.’

Early Emails

That Monday 2nd March email alert from Mark opens with claims that President Obama had ordered Israeli aircraft to be shot down if overflying Iraq en-route to Iran. Now that reminded me I’d written something on that matter and dug into my records.

My contemporaneous email covering a likely attack on Iran’s not-yet operational nuclear reactor at Bushehr was entitled Could This Weekend Change the World? And the world did change, but not following an attack! The reactor’s production of material for nuclear weapons has led to global economic sanctions against Iran and prolonged discussions to allow its restricted operation. Also as my email of August 2010 stated, it eventually led to Saudi Arabia falling out with America.

But what is particularly amusing is what I found last week. It confirms Mark’s points! The next email, Update to…Change the World? closes by asking,

…perhaps the Lord may be using Obama to bring about His purposes?

To flag up the peculiarity of what I’m writing, that remark’s followed by:

Do I sense pieces of the Lord’s biblical ‘jigsaw puzzle’ falling into place? (At this very moment, as I write, my PC radio plays ‘Dies Irae’ (Day of Wrath) from Verdi’s Requiem Mass!! Now is that just coincidence or God-incidence? I’d stopped writing to get a coffee and share my thoughts with Nina before resuming with fresh idea about jigsaw. Had that not happened there’d have been no synchonicity – so I’m awestruck!)

From The Four Signposts

With that in mind, Mark’s illuminating observations on US presidential involvement in Daniel’s visions conclude as follows:

“So what’s next, courtesy the Obama administration? Engraved invitations to the IRGC to run amok all over the Mideast while being given free transportation by the American military? I’m joking of course. But by the time this is all over we might be quite surprised at the total contribution that U.S. leadership made so that God’s word is ultimately carried out.

“It is interesting and surprising to me that God has chosen the mightiest nation that ever existed – and the only nation dedicated as a Christian nation, the United States of America – to unwittingly orchestrate the execution of the Signposts one by one. The nation responsible for churches planted all over the dark places of the world and bringing the light of the Gospel to millions of the lost, is the same nation most helpful in allowing the Antichrist to emerge.

“How many Christians in the USA even realize that their country is being used by God to bring out the Antichrist? Who could even imagine such a thing on their own? The only reason I discovered this is because it is a consequence of the Signpost interpretation of Daniel 7 and 8. Truth can be definitely stranger than fiction.”

Amused, I commented that his opening quip may actually be what’s happening! Also, I’d add that from the outset of his presidency Obama opened up ‘back channel’ diplomatic communications with Iran and is said to have used them to seek permission to fly US troops to Afghanistan (email May 2009 Today’s Importance in History refers).

Finally, it’s claimed USA is in the middle of ‘Jerusalem’. But that could also mean it’s either closely supportive or else divisive, as in ‘Jer-usa-lem’ ?
