Holy Spirit’s stirrings #2 – indications of Revival in the UK

Continuing with noteworthy communications received on Saturday 11th June.:

As well as the Lord’s action upon Nina and other prophetic words, I was amazed to receive Michael Marcell’s news about stirrings of the Holy Spirit in Reading because it was directly related to what had happened when I lived there.

His email alerts subscribers of UK Awakening that ‘God is moving in Reading’ and quotes a statement from Yinka Oyekan, senior leader at The Gate in Berkshire’s Thames Valley.:

‘An evangelist and his team came to minister from the US, training people to go out on the streets to speak to people about Jesus. After some worship and 20 minutes training, teams are sent out and people are very open to hearing about Jesus. Around 600 had made decisions for Christ in the first 12 days…continue reading full report from the pastor of Reading Community Church.

The details are personally relevant because I was present in the early 1990s when a prophetic vision about a revival came  to a young man in the inter-church Ditchdiggers team of youth evangelists. This was organised from Tilehurst Free Church whose young elder had worked in the revival in Argentina. (TFC’s building is now known as ‘The Gate’.)

In a prayer meeting, Chris D told us of having a vivid vision of crowds in Reading’s town centre being ‘slain’ in the Holy Spirit and coming to the Lord!  I can recall the expression of awe upon his face and in his voice as he told us about his experience.

In those days I knew precious little about the Holy Spirit’s gifts, but TFC’s Baptist pastor Rev Barry Kirk encouraged everyone to seek them. The bond between the town’s various churches was remarkably vibrant and teachers came from Kensington Temple to teach and equip us.

Holy Spirit’s stirrings #1 – prophecies for UK’s critical time

Flying puzzles - Nokhoog BuchachonYou may know of my fascination with timing of ‘God-incidents’ – events that suggest the Lord is putting pieces into His ‘invisible jigsaw’. They may indicate He’s up to something!

So let me tell you more about last Saturday, the day of Trooping the Colour and when Nina had in intense power surge from Holy Spirit and saw “This is MY country”.

Fridays to Sundays I’m ‘cyber silent’, or digitally incommunicado, and so the short post on the prophetic picture Robert English received had been set for auto-publication on Sat 11th June. However, that morning’s news warranted the insertion of a quick update. This was soon followed by issuing a quick ‘news flash’ about what was happening to Nina.

Furthermore, additional material was incoming last Saturday as though confirming what we had learned and for which I thank Suzanne Payne and Michael Marcell. So I ran off hard-copies to peruse at leisure over the weekend.

First, an encouraging follow-up to Robert’s picture as published on Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival’s Facebook page the previous day (Friday):

Prophetic Vision (to do with the EU also the UK GB).

‘I saw complete and utter darkness, over the EU, that was so thick like a smog that you could not see at all. I could hear the thunder and see the lighting hitting the EU hard, coming down (I saw people running for cover).

‘I looked across the channel and I saw the UK GB – it was calm and quiet. I saw the Lion waking up from a deep deep sleep, waking up chains were broken, and roaring and roaring and roaring, the ground is shacking underneath as a result.

‘For evil men stand down as a result from public office and can’t do anything, wise leaders take over the UK GB.’

That email was accompanied by a prophetic word dated 9 June (Thursday) from Veronika West of Ignite Ireland Ministries. This related not only to the above closing line from Robert but also to my hopeful wish of 26 May in closing Is the Lord exposing rotten politics? UK, USA – next EU?:

‘Wouldn’t now be a good time for all the rotten dirty laundry of crumbling EU finances to be exposed in full glare of continent-wide publicity? Maybe it would make messrs Cameron & Osborne do a volte-face, an abrupt U-turn, over the EU…?’

Seven days later Veronika received this mighty word from the Lord (click title to read on Facebook).:

A WORD FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM

Then the king said, “HANG HIM ON IT!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. The the king’s wrath subsided”….

‘Early hours of this morning I heard these words, “DAUGHTER ARISE, WATCH FOR NOW A NEW ORDER OF ESTHER’S SHALL RISE UP IN POWER AND AUTHORITY FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS AND SHE SHALL UNCOVER, EXPOSE AND DESTROY THE HAMAN SPIRIT THAT IS OPERATING IN THE LAND”!

‘Immediately the Holy Spirit quickened to me Esther 3..!
“So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”
Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.”

So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?”

‘And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!”

‘So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

‘Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king. When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?”

‘As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face. Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.”

‘Then the king said, “HANG HIM ON IT”!

“So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided”!

‘I PROPHESY GOD IS ABOUT TO MOVE IN AN UNEXPECTED AND AN UNPRECEDENTED WAY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.

‘I SEE A DIVINE MOVE OF GOD IN THIS HOUR IN THE NATION OF BRITAIN, IT IS A MOVE OF SIGNS, WONDERS AND MIRACLES, IT IS A DIVINE MOVE OF GOD THAT COMES TO UNVEIL AND REVEAL THAT WHICH HAS BEEN PREPARED AND EMPOWERED IN THE SECRET PLACE.

‘WATCH! FOR NOW A NEW ORDER OF ESTHERS WILL RISE UP IN THE LAND AND WITH THE POWER AND INFLUENCE OF THE KING’S FAVOUR AND AUTHORITY SHE SHALL UNCOVER, EXPOSE AND DESTROY THE HAMAN SPIRIT THAT IS OPERATING OVER THE NATION.

‘GET READY, I SEE HEAVEN RELEASING A NEW BATTLE PLAN AND A NEW STRATEGY TO THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD IN THIS HOUR, A BATTLE PLAN THAT WILL THWART AND DERAIL THE PLANS AND PURPOSES OF THE ENEMY IN THE LAND. THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH AND REVELATION IS COMING NOW TO REVEAL, REVEAL, REVEAL!!

‘I SEE A MIGHTY WIND OF AWAKENING THAT IS NOW BLOWING ACROSS THE UNITED KINGDOM, THIS IS A CONFRONTATIONAL WIND THAT COMES TO AWAKEN THE WARRIORS OF GOD TO WAR IN A NEW WAY.

‘I SEE ANGELS DESCENDING UPON THE NATION IN THIS VERY HOUR and I hear the Spirit say, “FEAR NOT, See, I am sending Angels before you to protect you and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you”!

‘I SEE A FRESH ANOINTING BEING POURED OUT UPON THOSE THAT ARE STANDING ON THE WATCHMAN’S WALL AND I SEE A NEW MANDATE BEING GIVEN TO THOSE THAT ARE READY, WAITING, WATCHING AND LISTENING FOR HEAVEN’S COMMAND. I SEE MANY ARE NOW RECEIVING A PROPHETIC MANDATE TO KEEP WATCH OVER THE EKKLESIA IN THIS HOUR TO ENSURE THE ETERNAL PURPOSES OF GOD ARE FULFILLED AND COME TO PASS IN THE NATION OF BRITAIN.’

In that communication received Saturday I learn that, “The Lord spoke to us recently in our prayer group and said,

“This is the Church’s finest hour”.

In the auto-scheduled next post I’ll refer to recent signs of Revival within our land.

Hit by Holy Spirit during Trooping the Colour

[Publ June 2016] My News Flash post made an audacious claim that a massive shift is happening, or is about to happen, in Britain. We were utterly and physically stunned by this turn of events because it was happening in our lounge! Whilst preparing a small celebration luncheon for friends my wife received an awesome message from the Living Lord God.:

“This is MY country!”

How do we know? For the simple reason such sudden surprising physical effects don’t and cannot come from anywhere else!

Upon hearing a quietly muffled sound, like that of wincing in pain, from Nina when she’s in the lounge and I’m in the kitchen, I turn to check she’s alright only to see her standing by the doorway into the lounge. She’s leaning at a peculiar angle, right hand against our cat’s 30 inches-high stand and hugging a large electric fan under her left shoulder (that she was about to take upstairs) – BUT with eyes almost POPPING out of her head.

All she’s done is to catch sight of what was on the TV – the Coldstream Guards marching down the Mall from Buckingham Palace towards the Horse Guards Parade for the annual ceremony performed in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  What was being broadcast live eight minutes into the broadcast opened her up to a blast of Holy Spirit’s power!

It made her tremble rapidly and continually from the neck downwards all over her body, as with powerful electric shocks. This continued for over half an hour and sparked later when she recounted what she saw!  Nothing as pronounced and prolonged has happened since the times we were at Toronto Airport church.

Shortly into this event Nina ‘knows’ the Lord is saying something to her and she weeps as the words scroll as moving, written text in front of her eyes: This is MY country!  (The emphasis shown in first version above conveys the distinct emphasis Nina sensed.)

Furthermore, it is conveyed with an unmistakable stamp of divine authority!

Absolutely awesome and amazing to learn direct from God about His heart for our land and people.

Thank you Lord for such a profound privilege, and to be able to convey this to the public.

Furthermore, Nina noted that somehow all her preparations had been completed unusually early. In fact, in time to allow for undergoing this Holy Spirit encounter without causing any delay to our schedule for the midday arrival of friends. Thank you Lord.

Also, I’m reminded of a notion the Lord gave me in 2011 about the symbolism of a castle and how it may connect heaven and earth. It suggested that Windsor Castle could act as a socket in which the Lord could insert a handle as though winding up this nation’s engine through our monarchy – I’m not a monarchist! (See A Special Town in the Thames Valley?) Perhaps current events may support that notion and indicate a deeper significance?

Changing of the Guard (prophetic word)

Thank you also to Neil Mackereth, author of SIGNS, for commenting that the ‘news flash’ reminds him of his reaction to the word Neville Johnson had last year about ‘Changing of the Guard’.

Thanks to Samuel Company Mark 2, here’s an extract from Neville’s letter (emphases added).:

Neville_Johnson-311x350‘In an encounter with the Lord on 25th of November 2015, I heard these words which were spoken very authoritatively in a way that demanded my complete attention. The end of this year will usher in the changing of the guard. This brought back memories of when I was a child watching the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace in London England.’

Neville explains the ceremonial procedure and then refers to a powerful dream the Lord gave him in 1986 of direct relevance to the encounter. In his letter quoted above, he goes on,

‘This November when the Lord spoke to me He strongly emphasised that the end of this year we would again see a changing of the guard and that this would have profound consequences. Batons and mantles which have been passed on will be powerfully activated in a way that would be much greater in power and authority than the former holders of these batons had experienced.  The Lord also spoke to me concerning a removal of many in ministry who were not teaching holiness and sanctification and were using their ministry for personal gain. However many of the old guard who had been faithful to the Lord would be taken home.

‘We must understand the times and seasons because major change is about to occur in the church, and a new emphasis of making the bride ready unfolds. God will no longer tolerate Luke-Warmness and the chaff will be removed and separated from the wheat. This is necessary in order for the last great harvest can be gathered in.  This changing of the guard will have great consequences both good and bad. We are running out of time as it were and God will no more tolerate sin, pride, and evil motives, He is about to cleanse His church.’

Amen – Lord, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

POSTSCRIPT (29th August 2019)

The above prophetic event seen by Nina was later contextually confirmed TWICE!

1st) Within weeks American worship leader Lydia Stanley-Marrow interrupted herself with a prophetic word “The Redcoats are coming! The British are coming! The British are coming!”, which mirrors what was on-screen at the time of that scrolling message.

2nd) Two years later during Trooping the Colour 2018, the Lord explained to Veronika West the significance of a fox filmed running across Horse Guards Parade. It represents the Spirit of Herod that tries to kill what God is doing in Britain (‘fox in the henhouse of Parliament’). The first fulfillment of His prophetic words came within days with Daily Mail’s scoop on MP Dominic Grieve’s secretive talks with EU leaders in London

Revd John Kilpatrick: apolitical prophecy in His Presence

Awkward internet trouble struck last Sunday afternoon!

However, resolution on Monday brought some unusual insights on America’s highly controversial presidential candidate!

Even more weirdly, whilst writing I’m struck that this post covers a ‘triple-strike’ on one particular day this month: see if you can spot it as you read. Ask yourself, “Does it confirm the previous post’s prophetic word, ‘Month of May – Domino Effect’ ?”

We couldn’t get live-streaming of Sunday morning’s service at Church of His Presence. Occasionally, there are intermittent dropouts but a simultaneously broadcast chat-room keeps e-members and ‘techies’ in touch and so we know what’s happening. But this time it was most unusual not to get any streaming connection at all in over half an hour. Then I saw their administrator’s note about the server having crashed.

I quipped to Nina, “Maybe they’re having a terrific time and the electrics are affected”.

A few years ago we heard Mahesh Chavda talk about when the powerful presence of the Lord blew stage-lighting and set off internal alarms, to which a fire brigade responded and arrived at the church meeting – but there wasn’t any fire, of the ordinary kind, that is.

Was something similar happening far beyond the other side of ‘the Pond’?? It was!!

Holy Spirit’s Presence

On Monday we caught up with the archived video and saw everyone was still affected by the evening celebration on Friday 7th May – Holy Spirit’s presence was clearly evident during Sunday’s worship.

Pastor John Kilpatrick immediately spoke about Friday evening’s celebration and referred to the Glory having fallen during the Brownsville Revival. John interviewed some who’d been there on their reactions.  Of last Friday he admitted to having struggled to preach; because it was on God’s Glory. His message had been held over from an earlier Friday, when he’d been completely unable to speak because he’d been under the ‘chabod’ or heavy weight of God’s glory – ‘slain in the Spirit’ – for several hours!

So, Sunday morning in Alabama continued in the same Revival atmosphere and one hour one minute into the service John said,

“You know I believe what’s going on right now in the political world, somehow I believe the Lord’s right behind it!

“Here’s what I really believe and I want you to know I’m not saying (vote) democrat or a republican – understand? Listen to me: something’s going on in the political sphere!

“And something’s going on in grass-roots America and grass-roots America’s rising up and saying “We’re SICK of the political correctness. We’re SICK of our nation going down the drain. We’re SICK of decisions that’s being made that’s deteriorating America”, and the grass-roots are rising up and they’re possibly voting for somebody that makes Americans real nervous.

“And I’m not saying I’m a Trump supporter – because I’m not!…(and I’m not anyone’s supporter)…BUT I am a supporter of Revival and I’m believing God for Revival to SHOW UP in America and to SWEEP this country – from the White House to the school-house to the corn house!!…[great excitement across congregation].

“Here’s what I believe is happening: I believe God’s shaking America back – I believe that we’ve been asleep. We’ve been in a coma but the Holy Ghost’s been slapping us [John slaps himself on both cheeks] with His Primaries and America’s waking up – “Huh? What he’d say?” – “What’d she say?”- “OMG what’s going on!” – “I’ve never seen nothing like this before!”

“And the Holy Spirit says, “Buckle your seat-belt; you ain’t never seen nothing like you’re about to see!!”

“I believe that God somehow is going to translate what’s going on in the political world and bring it over into the spiritual world – it’s time for spiritual correctness!

“Let God be God; I said ‘Let God be God’. Let God MOVE and let His power SWEEP this nation like it did many years ago!”….

Spirit-filled rejoicing and great excitement followed with lengthy ministry under the Glory – very definitely a church of HIS Presence!

Shake, Rattle and Roll…

John’s immense excitement as Holy Spirit sparked him into hopping and skipping whilst he moved into prophecy reminded me of an unusual word I’d read over the weekend from Australia’s Lana Vasser. Perhaps he was confirming the gist of what she received, as here:

LanaVawser‘…I have no political agenda, I am not attempting to ‘push’ anything, I am simply releasing something that I feel the Lord gave me. Recently, the Lord surprised me as I heard Him singing and I heard him singing concerning Trump. I heard the Lord singing in the same melody to the old song by Billy Haley and The Comets, “Shake, Rattle and Roll”. Yet as I heard the melody, I heard the Lord singing:

“I am using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll. I’m using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll… I’m using TRUMP to shake, rattle and roll”(!)”

WHAT! WHY?  To grasp this rather alarming revelation read Lana’s blog I Heard the Lord Singing Regarding Donald Trump, published last Friday 7th May .

I doubt John would have opportunity for that to have come to his attention on the other side of the world – especially as he was involved in that evening’s celebration with Lindell Cooley, and preparing to speak on Mysteries of the Glory and then come under its after-effects!!

Trump and Israel

The next day, Tuesday, I had opportunity to follow-up a headline on William Koenig’s news service World Watch Daily as a matter of particular interest to students of Bible prophecy. This was from an article in The Jerusalem Post published on Friday 7th May – Politics: On Trump’s Side (by Gill Stern Stern Hoffman).

It covers the work of British-born public relations innovator Jonny Daniels, director of the Holocaust commemoration organization From The Depths, and may be the Israeli who’s closest to Donald Trump. Daniels is quoted as saying of Trump on Israel,

“He is someone who understands our traditions, Just like Obama grew up in traditional Muslim settings, Trump has gained an appreciation of traditional Judaism.”

In 2013 Trump released a video of his deep respect for Israel’s PM Netanyahu and so you may like to read Hoffman’s article in full via the above link to print-copy. (The JP website is slow to load because of a long script and excessive advertising.)  Here are some extracts for your information:

“The Donald Trump I know is thoughtful, strong-willed and an incredibly smart person,” Daniels said. “He reads people and situations and, most importantly, doesn’t give up. He will fight for Israel and – just as important for Israel – fight for the USA. A strong America is a strong Israel. Over the past eight years, there has been a massive decrease in American strength, and as the US’s great ally that has been a significant problem for us.”
“It is very good news for Israel that he will be the Republican candidate for president, because we really do have a good friend in Donald Trump,” Daniels said. “I’m not sure people realize who he is beyond his media persona. He is a politician playing politics, and there are certain things you do and say for votes, and if it’s inflammatory so be it. Netanyahu and Obama have also reached out to their voter base, and that’s what Trump has been doing.”
“He is smart enough to understand that a peace deal wouldn’t be brokered over night,” Daniels said. “When we look at his true understanding of the concerns facing Israel, we have to see it promisingly. He was vehemently against the Iran deal before he thought he would be running for president.”

My reader, did you spot the triple date references in the above three sections?  Friday 7th May.  Hmmm most intriguing….

Maybe the Lord is underscoring that material? Maybe pastor Kilpatrick’s prognostication is accurate? How say you?

Finally, today Israel Hayom publishes an interview with Trump, Israel Is the US’ Bastion of Hope,  wherein he states, “We are going to protect Israel. We will make sure it is in good shape forever”.  I’ll leave you to read his opinion on the incumbent president’s actions to jeopardize an ally by dealing with Iran.

Blog anniversary: ‘The Fellowship of the Secret’

Funny the way things go but I didn’t realise ’til yesterday, when I started blogging more on the current theme, that a year ago today I introduced ‘The Fellowship of the Secret’, an e-book by my namesake Richard Barker.

Even ‘funnier’ are the facts I’m uncovering whilst trying to continue from what I’d jotted as of last night.  I was researching scripture and drafting a post to continue and conclude my current thoughts on the Kingdom, especially about the ‘mysteries’ Apostle Paul mentions. I’d previously checked last year’s piece and found the link to Richard’s book is no longer valid. Upon updating it yesterday I found his blog Fellowship of the Secret and decided to ‘follow’.

NOW, it’s getting much ‘funnier’ – even startlingly weird and very uncanny!…(and my email provider’s playing up and not failing to connect and download! So something’s afoot).:

Fellow WordPress bloggers are familiar with our administrative screen’s options of using either ‘My Site’ or ‘Reader’, which displays the latest posts of blogs we follow on WP.

For some purposeless reason I don’t recall, soon after starting this blog I went back into an open tab and opened up Reader – LO and behold, right at the top is one from Richard timed about the same time I started this post – UTTERLY EXTRAORDINARY. It reads:

‘Having completed my series of posts in which I have been commenting on Old Testament passages that particularly came to my attention during the writing of my book, I have composed an essay which will replace the preface in earlier editions of the e-book and the paperback version.

Finding it far from easy to think, because I’m ‘God-smacked at nature of this ‘coincidence’! The sheer serendipity demonstrates the LORD’s HAND MUST SURELY BE IN THIS – and is perhaps answering reservations and questions over what I propose writing on the ‘mysteries’ and recent posts. IN FACT, I extracted references on Richard’s book for this post from yesterday’s draft because the book seems especially significant at this time and needs announcing once again!

So, I’m SO stunned and left feeling sluggish with heavy limbs, like when Holy Spirit falls! Have had to take a break and share with Nina and visiting friend.

MOREOVER, a year ago my coverage of Richard’s book was surrounded with several God-incidents, as in God-incidents Validate Cycles… and Surprising Endorsement of ‘The Fellowship of the Secret’. The first introduces my namesake in some depth and then describes ‘The Fellowship of the Secret’ as follows:

‘(Richard) describes it as identifying, “the key that unlocks an age-enduring  mystery surrounding the apparent disconnection between OT prophecy and the out-working of the Church/Gospel age.” 

‘This claim, however, is not so new or surprising to those who study prophetic scripture outside the confines of the Catholic or Reformed churches, especially in view of the latter’s wide consensus on the cessation of Holy Spirit’s activity after the 1st Century.

‘In the overview of his e-book Richard focuses upon Paul’s statement in Ephesians 3:8-11 about his personal revelations. I especially appreciate this conclusion regarding the mutual failure in Jews and early Christians to understand one another:

“…Christendom’s part pertains to a failure to grasp the “the fellowship of the secret” – its implications to broader providence and God’s as yet unfulfilled terrestrial promises to the nation He first chose for Himself.”

‘Dipping into the extracts Richard’s put online, I like his hammering home on what the Church has lost and missed, and especially note the following from the first chapter ‘The Hidden Dispensation’ of ‘The Fellowship of the Secret’:

“The New Testament “elephant in the room”: the biblically unexplained and largely undebated non-fulfilment (or subversion) of scriptural prophecy regarding the terrestrial and political aspects of the Jewish apocalypse pertains to a secret disclosure, revealed to and through Paul of which I was previously unaware but now realise is the key to understanding Old Testament prophecy…”

‘Preceding that section Richard’s remarks are of direct relevance to recent posts on this blog about keys to and unsealing of the Book of Daniel, with emphasis added:

“In the religious sphere an on-going learning curve has been guaranteed through the intentionally cryptic profundity of Holy Scripture that was never intended to be entirely unravelled until the end of the age, for it contains at least one significant mystery (or secret) that was not to be disclosed until such a time (Dan 12:1-4 & 7; Rev 10:4,7)…”

‘I suspect that those who love to sink their teeth into a theological treatise topped by a prophetical icing will gain by reading my namesake’s e-book – especially in broadening  our own understanding of End-times. I certainly will.’

WOW!

What is the Lord saying to us and about to reveal? I suspect it may be quite startling and take the Church into greater depths of intimacy and of revelation upon re-instating its full nature and purpose. After writing this I note Richard’s remark in the first paragraph of his Update (emphasis mine):

‘A more serious consideration reflected on during the Christmas/New Year period (2015/16) is that whatever anyone else may currently think I perceive myself to be involved in a sacred task – to make known to as many Christians who will receive it, what I understand to be God’s intentions for the currently scattered assemblies of Jesus-followers in view of what (I merely surmise) He intends to bring about within our generation (cf. Acts3:21 Greek). So in effect, the book is an expansive “prophetic insight” in which its author came within a matter of a few days to a quite new understanding of certain biblical passages and events within Church history…’

We’re getting closer to the prophesied return of the Lord. Watch out world!

Smith Wigglesworth visions of 1939, 1947 and 1997(!) plus related ones of 2015, 2018

To continue from the previous post on Malcolm Duncan’s reference to Wigglesworth this post expands upon the entry in Library of Prophecies for UK and my email of May 2011.:

WigglesworthBorn in 1859, Smith Wigglesworth was an unschooled plumber by trade living in Bradford, England. In Great Revivalists my friend John Peters writes,

‘While in purely human terms he would be viewed as entirely unimportant and insignificant, he was spiritually a giant in every sense o this word…

‘All that mattered to Wigglesworth was listening for and to the voice of God’s Holy Spirit: it is hardly any wonder this ministry had such powerful anointing…

‘He conceived of revival in typically robust terms: that it can only come when we are prepared to die to self and human striving. Alongside this was his teaching that Jesus must occupy the foremost place in our hearts and lives.’

Before ‘going home’ on 12 March 1947, Wigglesworth prophesied about major moves of the Holy Spirit coming to the UK.:

TWO DISTINCT MOVES

‘During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say “This is the great revival”. But the Lord says “No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it”.’

[Both have started happening for we know many have left churches that were not teaching and moving more fully in what’s promised and expected in the New Testament.]

WORD AND SPIRIT
Smith Wigglesworth‘When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.

‘When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.’

[It should be noted that in recent years the Baptist Union of Great Britain recognised the necessity of working with the Word with the Spirit and His gifts in equal measure. See, for example, their Vice-President’s Daring Greatly Through Spirituality AND Malcolm’s own sensitivity as a theologian to the Spirit’s directing his response.]

A THIRD WAVE

According to Revival Prophecies for the British Isles, more insight on the above was to come later from one of his disciples, American evangelist Lester Sumrall (known as ‘Father of Christian TV’, who died 1996). Gary Carpenter’s website reports Sumrall’s meeting as taking place in 1939, the essence of which he reports as follows:

‘Wigglesworth cried saying, “I probably won’t see you again now. My job is almost finished.”  As he continued to pray, he cried “I see it, I see it!”

‘Brother Sumrall asked, “What do you see, what do you see? He said, “I see a healing revival coming right after World War II. It’ll be so easy to get people healed. I see it! I see it! I won’t be here for it, but you will be.” And there was a healing revival right after the war.

‘He continued to prophesy, “I see another one. I see people of all different denominations being filled with the Holy Ghost.” That was the Charismatic Revival. God raised up people during that era, like the Full Gospel Businessmen.

‘Then Brother Wigglesworth continued, “I see another move of God. I see auditoriums full of people, coming with notebooks. There will be a wave of teaching on faith and healing.” We did experience that wave he saw, and we call it the Word of Faith movement.

‘Then he prophesied, “After that, after the third wave,” he started sobbing. “I see the last day revival that’s going to usher in the precious fruit of the earth. It will be the greatest revival this world has ever seen! It’s going to be a wave of the gifts of the Spirit. The ministry gifts will be flowing on this planet earth. I see hospitals being emptied out, and they will bring the sick to the churches where they allow the Holy Ghost to move”.’

1997 – NORMAN JAMES’ VISION

In April 1997 I was privileged to meet 80 years old Revd Norman James from the North Yorkshire resort of Scarborough. Norman had been the prayer partner of Wigglesworth. This occasion was a weekend meeting convened at Hothorpe Hall in Leicestershire to celebrate the Welsh Revival and pray for revival.

When this small group stood in a close circle to pray, Norman was less than a yard in front of me.  As he was quite short my eyes opened to gaze fully into his face and so I couldn’t help but notice his eyes alight with excitement.  A huge, beaming smile – he was radiant!

Norman could hardly speak, save to whisper, “I’ve just seen what Wigglesworth saw – Britain in revival, on fire for the Lord!”

Ever so briefly he explained that in Wigglesworth’s 88th year the Lord had given him a vision of a future revival in Britain. He knew it would happen decades ahead but he so desperately desired to see such days. Thus Norman confided, “No wonder he wanted the Lord to keep him alive!“. But he couldn’t find the words to describe its wonder.

WOW! Something for us all to pray into and look forward to. The timing of this prophetic impression upon Malcolm Duncan follows enquiries via LinkedIn about this event from a reader researching Wigglesworth’s vision.

2015 – ‘ENGLAND ABLAZE’

The theme from those visions of the 20th Century for the 21st Century have been carried ‘beyond the Pond’. Tony Puccio of Tucson, Arizona, blogged in My Dreams and Visions:

I saw a vision of the country of England as I was driving today 08/16/2015 (16th August).  What I saw was a topographical map of England. In what looked like the uppermost right hand corner of the county I saw a small fire begin. What came to mind here is what the Lord told me a while ago which was don’t despise small beginnings.  I saw a mouth blow on the small flame and the flame grew to a fire and the fire eventually engulfed the whole of England.

Along with this vision I saw a country(ies) in the same way I saw England which was a topographical map. I saw deep cracks which I saw as division in the Land and got the sense that healing will be forthcoming as well of these lands. The lands were related to England.

This morning, 08/17/2015 (17th August), am adding to the vision I saw yesterday. In today’s vision I saw many many row boats, note that I said row boats and not ocean liners, leaving the shores of England for other parts of the world. Each of the boats had a small crew and I only saw one person rowing.

PS: 2018 – THE CROSS VISIBLE IN ENGLAND

Tony Puccio reports again on 21st November 2018:

‘I had a dream where I saw a huge cross that seemed to have been buried for a while unearthed. When it was unearthed and placed upright I could see the imprint it from whence it had been unearthed. When stood up you could see it for miles. In fact, I saw a ship out at see coming towards England and the cross was visible to those in the ship.

‘This means that England will be a beacon of Christianity as the cross in my dream was a beacon.’

Resurrection Sunday prophecy of a new season

An hour before sunrise last Sunday (had it been the previous day that would have been already happening!), Simon Braker writes in School of the Prophetic Leicester…

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said –

It is no coincidence that resurrection Sunday falls on the same day as the clocks change in the UK for British summer time, for surely the long winter in my church in this land is over and a new season is upon you, the season of singing has come, the resurrection song of the lamb is over this land,

For even as the first signs of Spring are beginning to break forth in the natural, so the first signs of a new Spring has begun in my church and in this Land, for I say to you,

as the season has shifted in the natural so it has shifted in the spiritual,
The spring rains of my Spirit have started a fresh outpouring of my Spirit has begun,

Watch and see, this year is a land mark year a staging post a crossing over point out of the old and into the new,

I then saw drops of water falling upon blotting paper once these drops hit they spread across the paper until it was saturated, then I saw it was a map of the UK.

The Lord said – I have entrance points being built all over this land where my Spirit has already began to breakout these will multiply and grow,

It will not be contained by stream or denomination but every place that hungry and thirsty people gather I will come!
If you will make space and put down your plans I will come!
If you will humble your hearts I will come!
If you will simply gather I will come!
And if you will go I shall come!

This refreshing is not just for my church but for this whole land,
In this season there will be stories of my Spirit breaking out in work place, classroom, on streets and in churches in every place people are!

Amen, and thank you Lord. I note the reiteration that revival is “going to come as we go” – as brought by Heidi Baker on A New Move of God in the UK.

Bobby Conner: “Behold! The Centricity of Christ!”

In an electrifying prophetic experience I was shown an emerging glory cloud covering the entire Body of Christ. As this cloud emerged I watched as Masterful hands with hammer and chisel forged this statement into the cloud of Glory:

“THE CENTRICITY OF CHRIST!”

At the completion of these words chiselled in the cloud, as Heaven’s host joined in victoriously shouting out the declaration, all Heaven and earth shook with the proclamation.

NOT WHAT BUT WHO!

Behold the Lamb in His Glory!

These are days of destiny, filled with wonder and excitement. The awe of God is returning to the people of God, filling the heart of God’s people with great expectation.

Something new and revolutionary is at the door—but the question is not what is at the door, but Who. A cry for the manifest Presence of God is about to be answered (see Isaiah 64:1). Every eye shall behold His brilliance and magnificent Glory (see Isaiah 40:3-5) and every veil shall be removed in order to behold the Lamb in His Glory (see 2 Corinthians 3:18).

Indeed, much will be discovered in these revelatory days concerning the Glory of God and the God of Glory. Now is the time for every child of God to behold the Lord Jesus in His revealed Glory (see John 1:14). The Word of God plainly declares that the entire earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of God.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14

As we prepare the way of the Lord, the entire earth will behold His grandeur—and God’s plans for these end-time days will result in the entire world discovering that His Son, Christ Jesus, is King of kings and Lord of lords ( see 1 Timothy 6:15)!

These are some of the most exciting days in human history. Prepare for the dawning of a new day!”

Behold God’s Warnings!

Yes, we are living in unprecedented times. We are observing end-time events unfold before our eyes. Intense anticipation is building within the saints of God. However, we are also clearly beholding the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy concerning the condition and conduct of humanity at the end of the age (see 2 Timothy 3:1-5).

In many places and among many people, it is the norm to mock and belittle Christ Jesus. Mocking and blasphemies, however, are about to come to a sudden halt. We would do well to take time to read the “coming attractions” of Revelation 19:11-16:

Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in Blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Let the heathen rage: his mind is filled with vain, blasphemous thoughts. God will bring a swift end to mockery and scoffing (see Acts 12:23). Scripture states that every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess that Christ is Lord:

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

Let this warning flood the earth—starting with our own hearts from Psalm 2:1-12:

Why do the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme? The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.

He Who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord has them in derision [and in supreme contempt He mocks them]. He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying, Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You.

Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like potters’ ware. Now therefore, O you kings, act wisely; be instructed and warned, O you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear; rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling [lest you displease Him]. Kiss the Son [pay homage to Him in purity], lest He be angry and you perish in the way, for soon shall His wrath be kindled. O blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him!

Behold the Harvesters!

The Spirit of God is, at this point in time, harvesting the harvesters and reaping the reapers. Why? The Body of Christ is standing at the verge of the greatest harvest the world has ever seen—the harvest at the end of the age when all seeds become fully ripened and mature fruit, both good seeds and evil seeds.

Never forget: the Lord will have His harvest. In the midst of the world’s confusion and chaos, the Kingdom of God is advancing swiftly across the nations. The Spirit of God is anointing ordinary people to do extraordinary exploits for the Glory of God (see Philippians 2:13) and countless multitudes are turning to Christ. Soon, more than one billion people will be brought into the Kingdom.

Beloved, be confident: you were born for this day. Don’t delay: move forward in victory, taking your place as a harvester and as an overcomer, embracing fully the destiny God has planned for you (see Ephesians 2:10).

Truly, as stated in Esther 4:14, we are in the Kingdom for such a time as this. You can know for certain that the Kingdom is in you for such a day as this. Take your stand be a bold and brave beacon of God’s love and light.

First, today’s Lion Bites from Glasgow:

THE POWER AND PURITY GENERATION

I am calling a generation to walk in both power and purity. In this day there are many influencing forces trying to pull my children from left to right and those who would dilute my word and my revelation. Yet with power and purity married together in your life, you will stand and not be overwhelmed by these influences.

I come to you today to baptise you with the spirit and with fire; to fill you with power and to set you apart as a pure one. I desire that you live life in the undiluted, raw, power of my gospel but also that your life would be established on an ever sanctified, set-apart, purity.

Would you allow me today to first baptise you in my fire: to burn and refine you and fill you with my Spirit and a greater measure of my power?

Matthew 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Dr Sharon Stone: 2016 Word of the Lord – “The momentum has shifted”

A prophetic word was brought by Dr Sharon Stone at a Christian International Europe conference on 5th December. I pray this transcript conveys the anointing of the spoken word as Sharon prophesies, teaches and points out practical applications, especially on the heavenly court.  

By way of preface Sharon asks those gathered, “Why do you need to have a word of the Lord for this season that you’re in?”, and then answers her question.:

Rev Dr Sharon Stone, courtesy CIEI believe it’s because it helps you to align with God so that you can make a difference in your world.

And that’s what all of our hearts’ desire is, but the problem is then: God’s idea of time often does not agree with our natural understanding of time. But remember this: He’s the One who made time and He made us to be aware of His timely plans.

I love what 1 Chronicles 12:32 speaks of: it says there was a tribe in Israel that knew the times and the seasons of God [‘sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel should do’]. Now Israel was always successful when they were compatible in opinion and action with God; to carry out His will, His way, in His time. Even though there were other nations who had more powerful armies and influential leaders, they could not compete with the edge of knowing what God had planned for the particular times.

Now, God is giving His children the ability of knowing His times and seasons, and not only that but also recognizing the signs of the times and correctly interpreting them. He wants you to have knowledge from Him of the course we need to take, precisely what needs to be done and how to do it.

So, when you and I choose to receive and apply God’s revelation, then we benefit from its counsel. This includes you, the church, government, leaders and those in business can all benefit when they have a timely word of the Lord and revelation to align with.

Now, when revelation is released in the spiritual realm (as today) the atmosphere begins to shift. And what happens there? The atmosphere begins to shift, it has a chain reaction causing changes in the natural realm to come to pass. And then, what seemed to be impossible before that is now possible, because God’s word is a creative word.

So, this 2016 Word of the Lord is about intentionally partnering with God’s will being done on earth as it is in Heaven. (Prays for delegates and herself to hear Him.)

1. The Voice of the Lord is a Force for a New Course! 

I want to start with revelation concerning the prophets for this season probably because it’s so near and dear to my heart – I love raising up prophets:

In prophet Elijah’s day Jezebel obtained a throne of authority in God’s covenant land. Now Elijah also had a seat of authority, but his was not given by man but it was established by God. Prophet Elijah’s authority not only countered Jezebel’s advances but it realigned Israel with the Lord and it set a new course for the future.

So with the prophets, the voice of the Lord is a force for a new course! 

  1. Prophets must now align with each other for increased revelation to release a force for a new course, as it did in Elijah’s day. You may ask me how that works and I want you to look at Psalm 29 (reads verses 3-9 aloud) We read how the thundering voice of God is so powerful, the only thing everyone could say was “Glory!” There is a fresh revelation and power coming to prophetic people that’s going to cause the Church to be struck with awe – as they were then – the only exclamation they can make is “Glory, glory!”
  2. A whole new prophetic velocity is being released. In this momentum more individuals are going to embrace the prophetic and be trained in hearing the voice of God than ever before because a whole new prophetic velocity is being released.
  3. Time to Prophesy Resurrection. Even in the last season we were prophesying like prophet Ezekiel to the scattered dry bones – “Come together, come together”. It is switched in this season; God says it’s now time to prophesy resurrection to the valley of bones. What is that resurrection? In Ezekiel 37 verse 9 (reads aloud  …lifeless bodies received resurrection, they stood up on their feet and became an exceeding great army). God is raising up prophets at this time because we’ve been speaking to the Church, “It’s time for dead bones to begin to connect and to come together”. Now God is saying “Listen, I am taking those things and the resurrection power of My Spirit is coming upon them that they might stand and be a great army”.
  4. You see, God is calling His prophets to GLOBAL government influence and impact – so you have got to begin to prophesy that resurrection power. Prophets have to align with each other also during this time because we need the increased revelation for solutions in the earth!

2. The Sovereign Court is in Session

One of my main focal points for this session is Daniel chapter 7. I have just met with many different major prophets and there was a prophetic consensus. You don’t often get that, but when you do, how precious it is – but the consensus is this: Daniel 7 is now being fulfilled. I’ll read some scriptures but what I want you to take note of is: the Sovereign Court is in session (emphases added).

v 9 “I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire;
v10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: a thousand thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.” Did you hear that?…

  1. The Judge of the universe has now seated Himself in readiness and the book of appeals and verdicts are opened for Sovereign decisions at this time. Where our lower courts have made bad decisions our only option is to appeal to a higher court – “The Sovereign Court” to overrule. Then all the lesser courts have to align with the highest court decrees.
  2. You need to do this for your family – Job 5:8 reads; “But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He provides rain for the earth; He sends water on the countryside. The lowly He sets on high and those who mourn are lifted to safety” (NIV)
  3. God wants us to appeal for our homes, He wants us to appeal for our Land!
  4. YOU are someone that during this season God wants you to know that there’s going to be divine legislation for transformation – divine legislation for transformation!

3. Time to Possess the Kingdom

What else is currently being fulfilled out of Daniel chapter 7? The time is NOW to possess the Kingdom – it says in…

v 21 “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them,
v 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.”

That time is NOW. Major prophets all over the world are going, “The time is now!” Now, to possess the Kingdom! We’ve been given the ability we didn’t have before – we’ve been given the “Ok”; we’ve been given the marching orders; we’ve been given the assignment.

The saints in this verse were contending against spirits of darkness, the spirits of fear and the spirit of anti-christ. It says they were being overpowered and marginalized in the midst of their challenge. But right there, there was a verdict that was released. That verdict is now forming our future. Suddenly we, the saints, are released to possess the Kingdom!

  • The momentum has just been shifted, I hope you can feel that! – in spite of very unlikely odds, the time has come for the saints to possess the Kingdom. That means to advance His Kingdom on a grand scale that couldn’t be seen before. So there’s a resurgence of the saints; that means there’s no law that cannot be changed. So it’s time to deal with what we’ve thought of as lost causes (eg. abortion and same-sex marriage) for the Court of Heaven is seated, the books opened and He’s waiting for the Church to rise up and say “Enough is enough” and divine intervention is going to come from the Ancient of Days.

As I pondered these things, I heard the Lord say this;

“You are the power behind the Throne.”

I knew He was speaking of us, the Church. What does that mean? It means we are the “Shadow Government” of the government in the earth. A shadow government is an invisible authority demonstrating that power resides not only with publicly elected representatives or monarchy, but with the Ecclesia, the Church – you and I.

The Sovereign Court of Heaven is the place where appeals and decrees will shift nations regardless of the earthly government.

  • The Ecclesia will function to advance Kingdom territory – they’re going to use the Keys of David. What are these?  Revelation 3:7-8 says “…He who holds the key of David. What He opens no-one can shut, and what He shuts no-one can open.” Why of David and not Moses or Abraham? David was the only one who was a prophet, a priest and a king. Those are keys to nations. We’ve seen people in times past who’ve used these keys to open up our cities and our nation for revivals, for miracles, for awakening.
  • We want to learn how to do the same thing with the Key of David that the Spirit of the Lord has given us. When we use that key in pray and worship it looks like this: when David functioned as a priest his prayer was petitional and worship was devotional…but we want to move on and as a prophet, the prayer and worship is full of targets, of detail, clarity and of revelation…but when he operated governmentally in the kingship anointing we have governmental prayer and apostolic courtroom worship. That’s how we function now as kings. These keys will open up the Kingdom of God’s advancing transformation in the earth, for this is a year of staking claim to the land and of possessing the land

4. Increase in Authority

  1. Complacency is breaking off God’s sons and daughters.They will not just believe “that someone else will go”, but they will act on God’s behalf and say as Isaiah said; “Here am I send me.” (Isa 6:8) [RB: Similarly, with boy Samuel when lying down by the Ark of the Covenant when the Lord stood beside and called him then he responded, “Speak Lord, your servant is listening”. 1Sam 3]
  2. We are going from faith to faith as a new measure of authority is released into the earth. Faith will appropriate this authority that has already been given. The authority of the Lord is increasing as we passionately follow Him and it’s coinciding with our expanding territory to impact and to steward the work of the Lord.

With every new endeavor or territory that God assigns to us there is the responsibility that comes with it. Your new authority is needed, for your new territory because it comes with obstacles that can only be overcome by it. So I want to talk about revelation this season of what are some of our obstacles – not that we won’t have some that are the same but what are the ones unique to this season?

5. Unique Obstacles

  1. Persecution of Christians will increase in this season…Remember, prophetic prayer worship and prophetic warfare sounds can still reach where you cannot, resulting in opening of prison doors, just like it did for those in the Bible.
  2. Main obstacle is Fear. Be really careful not to allow yourself to be motivated by fear or to the fear that’s released in the atmosphere – not to live under it; you affect the atmosphere rather than living under it! |Even when hearing of wars and rumours of wars – they’re going to be part of our existence from now on – do not let that shake you because fear is the opposite of faith and it will rob you of your faith. Instead, know this is the time for you to expand and be blessed, to create new things (including wealth, the Bible says), to bring forth words of life that heal. The world needs hope and God has called you to demonstrate His love and His power for Christ in you is the hope of glory!
  3. National security/immigration. There will be greater focus on national security so the Lord will give guidance for praying and use your prayer language to reveal the will of God. Likewise, we need a solution from heaven for the issues of immigration.
  4. The economy. I don’t believe it’s about a falling economy but I believe the Spirit of the Lord has said another credit crunch is coming. It not something to pray and avoid but is one of those things that’s still balancing and exposing for we should pray that the systems and kingdoms of this world might be transformed by the will of heaven.
  5. Racial division in the earth will bring unrest. The Lord says this can be downsized or avoided as pastors/leaders pray and decree for racial unity from the pulpit. They must also demonstrate working together with other pastors/leaders. Racial division can be downsized through prayer.
  6. Rise in terrorism and insurgent attacks will continue. We’re going to see a greater increase of one-man terror assaults (many small attacks). They will seem to be disjointed and random but the Spirit of God says; “They’re not”. But can I take you to look at the word that releases fear in people, like ‘cancer’ used to. That word is:
    1. ‘ISIS’ – Isis is the name of an Egyptian god. Note that I’m speaking of demonic spirits, NOT Muslim people – Egyptian god spirits, not Muslims. But it is not a coincidence this army has laid claim to the area of the Middle East that the Lord claims as His own in Isaiah 19, because it’s a spirit behind the army that wants to halt God’s plans. Let’s look at chapter 19 verses:
    2. v 19 In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt…
      v 20 And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt…
      v 23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria… v 24 …Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria…
      v 25 whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.” (Please read those carefully later…)
    3. One motive of the demonic spirits behind ISIS is to try to halt the Isaiah 19 Highway. The Lord has miraculously freed His people from Pharaoh’s oppression and these scriptures tell us God will do it again, but this time it will include Egypt and Syria. And the gods of Egypt will be toppled again – the result is multitudes are going to be delivered and awakened to their Lord Jesus Christ.
    4. ‘ISIS’ will continue to operate for a time, because one of the reasons is that true motives of the spirit behind Islam are being exposed to many people who have a searching heart. Like Haman, the Lord will allow ISIS to prepare its own gallows, waiting for the Esther intercessors to re-write the decrees – remember the book is open and the Judge is seated.
    5. Greater shakings to be experienced in the Middle East as division comes upon the “House of Islam”.
      Mark 3:25 gives us our prayer strategy; “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” We need to and it is time to use the same strategy against Satan that he has used against the Church; and that is division. This is a time for praying increased division between the demonic powers behind Islam. Continue to pray for the conversion of terrorists as well as for the halting of activity and for preserving people. Remember Saul the terrorist became Paul the Apostle in Acts 9.

6. We have had Restoration of Apostles, but now it is a Time for Apostolic Action.

  1. The Day of the Saints is what my father in the Lord, Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International, calls this season. This the anointing and movement of the apostolic, not just the restoration of the apostles. So we are anointed to equip people to be “Sent Ones” with signs, wonders and miracles. They’re on assignment to bring transformation into their territory and they get to build apostolically during this time.
  2. Time to Build Apostolically
    This begins with the Church again being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, so there are some shiftings that are going on around the earth right now. This foundation is being restored in a new dimension of God’s government. He is giving us fresh strategies for today and so new blueprints to build are being released to enable the Church to partner with God in this new mandate. For some it will look like a redevelopment plan, but for all participating it will be structures that are going to accommodate an incredible harvest. There’s going to be blueprints for finances, strategies for raising, equipping and sending of the saints – and it will seem to many like an acceleration time. Apostolic/Prophetic churches and centres will multiply. So we get to “Arise and Build” and be the victorious Church that the gates of hell cannot stand against. I love that! Now because the Lord is building His house, it says when the Lord builds the house our labours will not be in vain. So we’re not building out of religious ritual or tradition, even though we’re building territorially, because we’re bringing the will of heaven right into our communities and into our nation. With this going on…

7. There is an Agitation of Wineskins

Luke 5:37-38. “And no man puts new wine into old wineskins; else the new wine will burst the wineskin, and be spilled, and the wineskins shall perish. But new wine must be put into new wineskins; and both are preserved.”

Individually and corporately, we/Church are these containers. Jesus is telling us that we must have a capacity to hear a fresh word from Him to build apostolically. And what’s happening?

  • There is a catch-up movement of the Holy Spirit very similar to the Charismatic movement when Holy Spirit poured out into all denominations regardless of the name over the door. So there’s coming another season like that into denominational streams and old wineskins, giving people an opportunity to update before the coming evacuation from old wineskins – some say “Update before evacuate”, but we need to know that’s of God’s agenda.  There are some old spiritual wells that have to be re-dug but there are vast new glory spots of revival springing up throughout the earth that God wants you to partner with in Him.

Prophet Jane Hamon has a great revelation that during this time of:

  • the spirit of Leviathan being stirred to resist this awakening and new wineskin and revival, and to stagnate and stalemate the Church in our nations. She saw Leviathan resisting awakening on every hand. Churches would be resisting the awakening, most media will ridicule it, and the government in places would even try to stop it – but the spirit behind it is Leviathan. [See 2016 “Awakening”.]

The Hebrew word Leviathan actually means “to mourn.” The enemy’s strategy has been to get the church into a place of mourning over things that have gone against us and to immobilize us with a sense of hopelessness. God is waiting on His people to engage in battle, which would release them to move forward and deal with the resistance. We have to shake ourselves and awaken from the grief and mourning over the dead past. People are being awakened in the world and the Church needs to be awakened to go to them!

8. Awakening, Harvest, Reformation and Transformation

  1. As we are coming upon the 500th anniversary since the Great Reformation (Martin Luther), Kingdom understanding of what’s going on in the atmosphere right now is creating links between awakening, harvest, reformation, and transformation. There is a shifting of the Saints into the Great Transformation of the Church for the Transformation of our nations. So…
  2. We’re on the verge of another Great Awakening and the chains of hope deferred are breaking off you and off churches right now. The prayer army is being awakened first and coming out of their slumber. An awakening is taking place in the Church. A remnant is arising, they’ve been maturing, they’re increasing there’s a momentum being gained. There will be an increase in God’s manifest glory and His healings. There’s going to be a voice of truth and righteousness with no compromise that will not be silent. God’s people will be known for their boldness and love. And apostolic, prophetic churches and centres are multiplying at this time. Also, there’s a greater move of the Holy Spirit upon children and they will be awakened in the middle of the night and hear the Lord, as did the child Samuel.
  3. It is also the Beginning of a Great Harvest! There is a fresh release of labourers empowered by the Holy Spirit for such a time as this. Believers are going to realise they’re “sent ones” now, into the fields of Harvest.
  4. Prophetic Evangelism is going to be a main tool the Spirit of God will use and so it’s time to get trained in those areas. It’s going to have its greatest harvest during this season as a major strategy for Kingdom advance.

9. Unity

Christian fellowship is a key aspect of Christian life. Coming together in love, faith and encouragement is an element of family and authentic relationships. We cannot influence society with the truth of who Jesus Christ is without that love for God and for each other that He wants us to have. We need those authentic relationships. As corporate church flows in unity we’re going to see God’s presence with a mighty outpouring of signs, wonders and miracles. God’s people are going to rise in this pressure of current world situation and we’re going to create a unity in the Kingdom of God and the House of God that’s without precedent in former generations!

I believe Heaven is actually standing to attention and they’re waiting – there’s almost with an intake of breath – waiting for the prayers of God’s people to link arms and to fight as one. It’s an incredible time and, as a matter of fact, Psalm 133 says this is what’s going to release, this unity will release the commanded blessing of the Lord.

10. Nations

The next area of revelation that God is speaking is concerning the nations and here in Europe we need to know – even if we read the news we would hear this –

    1. Europe is shaking in disunity in the EU. But there is also a different shaking going on – there’s a clash of the Kingdoms in Europe. This conflict begins in Europe but it negatively spreads to the nations of the earth if God’s people do not pray…This clash of the Kingdoms will also cause the Church to awaken and arise, and what will happen is a fresh joinings of passion for the Lord as a war cry is raised from the Church. Intimacy and warriors – it’s an incredible time…and coming from the voice of the Church in Europe! Remember, this conflict is for who’s going to rule, who’s going to sit on the throne of nations? We have a King of Kings and a Lord of Lords – we’re going to give Him His inheritance: the nations!
      Re. our most recent history, Cindy Jacobs says: “Through crises the enemy has used a Trojan Horse to enter Europe. But God says; ‘I have a plan for a sweeping awakening of Europe and the nations of the earth, to actually reap a harvest of the Muslims nations“. So God is going to turn that Trojan Horse around for the benefit of harvest.
    2. The church in England will see it’s true Apostles rise and build.
    3. The church in Wales is about to birth an end-times prayer movement.
    4. The church in Ireland will water itself in great intercession and see an early harvest of souls.
    5. There is a fire beginning to burn in Scotland.
    6. The church in France is rising in power.
    7. The church in Germany will begin to show its strength.
    8. Netherlands, God is giving you watchmen assignments for the EU, the European economy and terrorist attacks against your country.
    9. Spain will become a focus for the spirit of Islam…but the true Church is also rising up in Spain.
    10. Russia. Putin will continue to stir unrest in the world with his alignments. Yet God is moving in the Church in Russia and especially a move of God among the young and next generation in Moscow.
    11. Small embers are beginning to burn for God in Estonia, Siberia and Serbia.
    12. Ukraine has a strong underground church forming that will ignite this nation for God.

You know, we’re beginning this year with a grace of empowerment to be more than conquerors. What an amazing way: that’s how God is causing us to move into this year!

Psalm 110:3 Your people will be Your love offerings like living sacrifices spilled out before You. In the day of Your mighty power, You will be exalted and in the brightness of Your holy ones You will shine, as an army arising from the dawning rays of a new day.

There are so many of us forerunners in all spheres that are being matured and being promoted into fresh intimacy and authority this year – make sure you grab hold of that!

I actually believe you can hit that reset button in this season. Go before God and set that rest button in the areas you need to reset…because God wants so much for you than you want for yourself.

Sharon closes with a strong encouragement that we’re surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, some of whom we know personally – there’s many more of them than of us!

“I believe that we’re on a fresh momentum with the shifting of the saints to possess the Kingdom, that’s going to cause us to finish well.

“God bless you and be blessed in 2016.”

Messages from one who stands in The Almighty’s Presence

Angel Gabriel’s introduction of himself is familiar from Christmas scriptures. Yet I propose to connect his messages with the concept of prophesying into Time, especially about the Holy Spirit – and with an intriguing prophecy for Jewish people today.

Angelic Announcements

This post’s title is from Gabriel’s response to an elderly Jewish priest’s disbelief, to which I refer below. Several months later Gabriel was sent to a betrothed teenager, as depicted in 1898 by Henry Ossawa Tanner in Annunciation (click image for gallery).

The maiden’s visitor greeted her,

“Rejoice, highly favoured one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

It wasn’t so much the surprise of an invisible spirit becoming visible that troubled her, as what he’d said and how it was said. But this messenger then reassured her,

“Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Although not disbelieving what he’d said, the young lady posed a logical question because she was a virgin, “How can this be since I know not any man?” So Gabriel explained,

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.”

At this Mary responded laudably, “Behold the maid-servant of the Lord. Let it be according to your word”.

How different was the young maid’s acceptance of this decree about her own future to that of the very much older priest Zacharias when Gabriel had visited him a few months earlier. Apparently, Mary hadn’t heard about what had happened. Otherwise, there would have been no need for Gabriel to have confided the news of that first miraculous conception.

So what went wrong for her cousin’s husband?

Zacharias had the once-in-a-lifetime privilege of burning incense in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. In view of its performance being in the Holiest of Holies, this duty was done by drawing lots rather than by a rota from many teams of priests.

Whilst Zacharias was officiating, an invisible, supra-natural spirit subtly scintillated at the side of the altar. It proved to be a holy messenger – an archangel, so some believe. He brought news of the future mission of a mightily powerful man of God – the priest’s own son!  But Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth were childless for she was well past child-bearing age!

However, their prayers for a baby were to be answered and the angel prophesied this special one would be filled with God’s Holy Spirit from before his birth!  It isn’t any wonder the priest was in disbelief! When he asked, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years” , the angel’s response was most emphatic,

“I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.” (emphasis added)

Points to Ponder

Those accounts are particularly interesting in connection with speaking into the future, as summarised in Prophesy TO 2014 and Talking to Time seems to work!

Prophesying is speaking forth the mind and counsel of the Lord God, as communicated to an individual. Therefore, it’s a declaration that cannot be known by natural means – a direct revelation from God. [For more see An Introduction to Prophecy.]

Now let’s check Gabriel’s announcements in the light of John Kilpatrick’s message of the first Sunday in 2104, as outlined in my recent posts (ie January 2014):

1.  In that last quotation, Gabriel issued a decree that happened immediately but which had a limited duration. That is, he spoke into Time by prophesying, did he not? Right away the priest became dumb until he was released from the decree’s power when the baby came to be named months later.

My underscoring of “my words…will be fulfilled in their own time” indicates New Testament support for ‘talking into Time’. Gabriel’s words brought from God were not only welcome news but also, and far more importantly, announcements on earth of declarations that had been issued in heaven. They’re excellent examples of oral statements of God’s will and are thus prophetic and creative, in we can understand from the Word of the Lord given to prophet Isaiah (Isa 55:11 – emphasis mine):

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Thus, what God speaks not only through His holy prophets but also through His angelic spirits who minister to His people, as well as through His Son, is sure to happen sooner or later.

2. From the principles of Genesis 1 the power of divine and human speech is creative, . The presence of Holy Spirit is necessary to bring about a divinely created manifestation. A Hebrew understanding of ‘over’, or ‘hovering’, in Genesis 1:2 is that Holy Spirit was next to or immediately adjoining what was about to be acted upon – all that was required to start the process was a spoken word.

Therefore, when Gabriel spoke to Zacharias the combined action of his words and the Holy Spirit fully rejuvenated his wife’s body. She was no longer barren but could carry and bring a child to birth normally. And even in her womb Holy Spirit was present to make baby John respond to the sound of Jesus’ mother’s voice!! (Luke 1:39-41)

The same happened when Gabriel spoke to Mary. The ‘overshadowing’ power of the Most High that he referred to carries the same meaning as that of ‘hovering’ in Genesis. Being of the Holy Spirit, the same creative power that was ‘In the Beginning’ brought about an ‘immaculate’ conception after the angel’s prophetic announcement. That is, it would not happen until a decree, a spoken announcement, had been delivered and received. Once again Gabriel had spoken into Time – into the next nine months!

3. The creative application of Gabriel’s prophetic description of Jesus’ kingship and its relevance to a possible prophecy given to the late rabbi Kaduri warrants consideration in another post. Read about him meanwhile in Who are the Jewish people expecting?

Tongues of Fire Acts 2-3

INVITE MY FIRE

I will come and cleanse like a roaring fire, clearing a way for you to complete the work I have given you to do. Ideas have become tainted, projects have lost their potency of holiness, and weariness has set in because the outcomes are no longer fulfilling the original vision and desire that I put with in you.

Remember that I commanded Joshua to burn the towns of the newly invaded promised land with fire, to claim the land. Repent – turnaround – and invite My fire. I will show you what needs to be burned away if you seek me on this. Then walk again into My promises. Take no prisoners. Do not be compromised. See that I can clear the way by cleansing anything that is not of Me and sending My Spirit to empower and re-envision you.

Psalm 97:3-6
Fire goes in front of him and burns up his enemies around him. His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees it and trembles. The hills melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim his righteousness and all the nations see his glory.

Why this September is special – 2: Pope, POTUS & Messiah

Part 1 covered the first of at least three reasons why this month is highly significant:

  1. international events of eschatological relevance. (Brief intro here about this.)
  2. the current Shemitah Year 5775 closes on Elul 29, Sunday 13th September.
  3. last of the current Blood Moon Tetrad occurs on Monday 28th September or Tishri 15, first day of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

Please note I’m not a ‘doom and gloom’ merchant and not being alarmist in presenting  the first item’s ‘September Schedule’.  A couple of those events need a closer look to enable us to better understand what’s going on.

Neville_Johnson-311x350We’re living in exceptionally exciting times as Biblical prophecies move towards fulfilment. In August, Neville Johnson followed-up last year’s ‘Urgent words about a ‘cut-off time’ in God’s timeline’, . In his later session he taught in-depth upon the necessity of our being heavenly minded. Thus, we’d see ‘The BIGGER Picture’ God has for His children and for the new earth, now and in the near future – the Age to Come!

In Part 1, the 23rd Sept entry quoted John Kilpatrick’s observation on Pope Francis’ official meeting with President Of The United States, Barack Obama: “He’s the 226th Pope visiting the president on the 226th day of the Gregorian calendar. Many wonder if something’s being birthed because that’s the gestation period of the human – it’s 226 days!”

In this connection, at the recent Lancaster Prophetic Conference’s first session, Neville taught about the false prophet and the false church (Revelation 13). He spoke about a very powerful encounter he had with the Lord a year ago:

“He said to me, “I want you to watch for something”. He said, “When the present pope will address the United Nations and Congress it will be the beginning of the rise of the false church”…(Neville then quoted Rev 13:11-14)

“This year, during the last phase of the Blood Moon, the pope, this present pope, will be addressing the United Nations  (the day after) he will be addressing your Congress…that’s right after Yom Kippur – and just before Tabernacles.

“That speech will mark the first time ever a Roman Catholic pope has addressed Congress.

“This is a historic visit in a historic year when the United Nations marks its 70th anniversary.” (From 1:48:35 mark)

Neville went on to refer to many leaders thinking that unifying religions is the answer for bringing the nations peace, but

“The world church will include all of the world’s religions, except Judaism – and Christianity…This meeting will be the catalyst of that beginning.

“Our greatest problem isn’t going to be the Antichrist but the false church because legislation will be introduced that will forbid activities except for those who are of the false church…plus higher taxes to wipe out churches…

“The false church will have great political power and clout. It will strongly advocate the mark of the beast – that’s what scripture says!…

“This won’t affect the true church because it will arise in greater power, greater glory and strength to the dismay of the false church as millions of people come into the kingdom of God!”

JEWS LOOKING FOR MESSIAH

Kaduri readingTo my mind the most remarkable promise of this month is that Jewish rabbis are expecting Messiah. Those who took the link to an earlier post will have read the secret Rabbu Yitzak Kaduri kept about having met Yeshua and that the timing of PM Ariel Sharon’s death (11 January 2014) meant it would not be long before Ha’ Mashiach would come to Israel.

Thus, in seeing beyond Breaking Israel News’ report we could  reasonably expect thousands more orthodox Jews will to be given dreams and visions of the Messiah and to learn his true identity. Is this not prophesied in Zecharia 12 and that it will happen when the status of Jerusalem is constantly under international threat?

 10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn…

For example, in July David Hathaway reported in Jesus Is Coming! (emphases mine):

“Jesus will come when the Jews call upon His Name! In June 2013 what the taxi driver said on the way back to the airport was an amazing revelation. He knew who we were, and was a religious Jew wearing a kippah, yet from the moment we got in the car he began the conversation so animatedly that he kept taking the wrong road! He kept saying, ‘Why did we kill Yeshua? He was a good man, He did nothing wrong, He killed no one but healed all who came. Was He Messiah, if so why did we not recognise Him, were we blind? We thought many people in our history were Messiah, but they are not alive today. I search the Scriptures for Him; can you show me where to find Him? All our nation is looking for Messiah at this moment, no one else can save us, can you show me the way?’

“This is why it is so important that we preach the Gospel – suddenly Israel is opening. God, through the Holy Spirit, is opening their hearts and minds to search for Him. The Bible is so clear, Jesus said, ‘If you seek Me you will find Me’.”

A vision: sowing into the Kingdom of God

Charlie ShampEyeballing me as he speaks, I’m not fully attentive for I’m transfixed by an open vision right in front of me.

What I see swirling around Charles Shamp reminds me of those toy snow-scenes popular at Christmas. Also, perhaps you’ve seen how the wind can pick up and carry things away  – like a ‘dust devil’ or tornado starting up – yet this one wasn’t going anywhere.

But this wind doesn’t bring invisible snow or dust: just money! – that is, currency notes – lots and lots of them!  The space between us has become a blue-grey misty haze with the notes ‘swimming’ around him. Apparently, Charlie doesn’t see them for, although he may refer to something he senses during a meeting, this time he carries on speaking to everyone but I’m not listening as keenly as usual.

Charlie had started as we sat down after worship at the Passover-Easter meeting. Yet I remained standing, not so much out of politeness as he was looking at me, but because of what I could see in the spirit.

It was another of those times I’ve mentioned earlier: Charlie looks at someone and keeps eye contact for a minute or so as he teaches. Every time that’s happened to me, he said something that resonated on something with which I was very well acquainted. It’s not like a prophecy being delivered, yet it must be related to that because what’s said is relevant and increases my understanding – ie. they’re words of knowledge, wisdom and revelation.

This time what he says connects not only right into my experience as a bank officer but also into the open vision!  He tells everyone about the value of sowing into a ministry and makes an unusual analogy that I’d not heard before from any preacher.:

Charlie is of the opinion that financial sowing is similar to lending money. (The normal approach is that, like any offering, sowing into a Christian ministry is donating to the Lord’s purposes and we’re paying back a little of everything we owe Him. I recall, “God is a debtor to no-one”, as He told Job and summarised by Max Lucado in God Owes Nothing.)

However, Charlie is saying – whilst I watch the money swimming around in the six feet separating us, “Consider what a banker does when offering a loan: he sets the terms to our taking the loan and expects it to be repaid”. So too, we may legitimately expect a payback when sowing by reaping some of the fruit that manifests. Moreover, we may remind the Lord.

This new concept of being a banker ‘setting terms for our sowing’ catches my attention because it’s about something with which I was familiar as a bank officer – but not what we’d associate with giving to the Lord.

Also during that session, I recalled what I’ve long known of the promise about the only test we may make of God. And He allows this ‘test’ to emphasise He’s providing a way to enable His people to answer His righteous complaint against their robbing Him! It is the foundation for all tithes and offerings:

“Test me in this”, says the Lord Almighty, “And see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it…”. (Malachi 3:10 NIV)

So I must seek the Lord on Charlie’s claim and check it against scripture. Upon doing so early the next morning Lord directs me to an appropriate scripture (see Note 1 below).

I’m reminded of the parable of talents (Matt 25:14-30) wherein Jesus instructs disciples to put what God gives us to wise use and multiply it.

Although applicable to all gifts He gives us, this parable’s focus upon money supports Charlie’s claim that, in donating funds to what the Lord is doing, we may expect and are promised a reward. Furthermore, as God’s children there’s no reason for not discussing this further with Father and in being quite specific in our requests.

The Books are being opened

Hope this re-blog’s opening remark strikes a chord with readers. It echoed what I’d been mulling over for a few days: the explosive revelation that kick-started my writing about prophecy! (Email Feb ’09 refers – the scripture cropped up in Sunday’s service!)

How many of us have suddenly seen something in a scripture that we have never seen before? How many of us believe differently to what we used to believe a few years ago? This is the time Daniel wrote of, when the books are being opened and fresh revelation is coming to the church.

Looking again at this passage:

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world…

Wake up and be set on fire!

fire-of-Holy-Spirit-300x194A loud noise from builders outside awoke me with a start!  It’s the first time in a long time I’d overslept! The alarm had gone off early for Nina to get up (I’d already been up with the dawn). I jumped up as I’d just over half an hour to ‘break fast’, get ready and get out with her before the local crowds descended in town.

An hour later at my desk this Lion Bites email was near the top of my in-tray: L.O.L.!

WAKE UP AND BE SET ON FIRE!

“I heard the Holy Spirit repeat the same phrase three times:

“Wake up and be set on fire!”
“Wake up and be set on fire!”
“Wake up and be set on fire!”

“As these words were decreed, I ‘saw’ the phrase shooting out over all lands, all nations and, ultimately, landing on all His people.

“To those who chose to listen to the wake-up call from Heaven there is an encounter with the fire of God that will equip you to fulfill His coming purposes. In your response to the call to rise up from your slumber there is a whole new wave of power coming into your midst, to equip you to bring Kingdom transformation.

“Respond to this wake-up call from the Lord! Allow Him to come into your midst, right now, to wake you up in areas that you have been sleeping and allow Him to set you on fire for the sake of His name.

Ephesians 5:14  For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”
Isaiah 60:1  Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you

Confirmation of the vision

The WORLDWIDE vision referred to above is similar to, but more extensive than, Jean Darnall’s 50 years ago of multiple fires being lit across Britain (see Prophecies fulfilled 1).

However and moreover, it reminds me of what I’d sensed a week ago yesterday and which was God-incidentally confirmed the same day by Angela Jeff. She commented early the next morning on my post about Nathan Morris’ prophetic outburst, “London’s Burning”, as follows:

“Yesterday I was reading a wonderful book by James A. Stewart, called “God’s New Thing” – all about Revival. It says this “The two symbols of Pentecost are WIND and FIRE . There is no set program for a cyclone or a prairie fire. A great revival is like a forest fire”. I began to think about the fact that wind conditions have a HUGE impact on the spread of a WILDFIRE.
“The Great Fire of London sprang to mind…and so I googled it and began to do some research…there are some very interesting spiritual parallels that I believe God wanted to remind me of:
“In London in 1666, conditions for the blaze were perfect. A long hot summer had left London DRY and drought had depleted water reserves (does this not sound a bit like the spiritual condition of London today – a dry and thirsty land where there is no water?!) This, coupled with a STRONG EAST WIND meant that all that was required was a SPARK! That SPARK began in a bakery (house of bread) and boom! Suddenly that SPARK became the “consuming fire” that had so often been predicted.
“Cindy Jacobs spoke of a coming “marriage of wind and fire” and Julie Meyers UK prophecy speaks of a move of God like a WILDFIRE!! I feel so stirred that God is calling us to press into these things in prayer. I believe that a second “Great Fire of London” is coming! Another interesting factor which is food for thought is that the Great Fire followed the dreadful plague which had gripped London in 1665. Some say that the fire, as dreadful as it was, was God’s mercy on the city because it purged the city of the plague. Oh how we need that burning cleansing flame to sweep through our capital city! Let’s pray for London!!”

I especially thanked Angela, saying that only yesterday I’d had a strong sense of a likely coming spiritual fire. It may have been specifically for the chapel and establishment we were gathered in for a service for healing.

fire-angels_300wAfter communion, I’d gazed at piles of logs on the lawn outside that had been gathered from the small wood around the premises.  Right away I recalled a photo taken by Gary Beaton at a similar scenario. It showed two ‘angels of fire’!  (I blogged on this a year ago this month in Sighting of angels in a fire.)

Also, I took the opportunity to refer to the “unstoppable firestorm” word brought by Bobby Conner 7 years ago this month.

Angela refers to Julie Meyer’s well-known song “The Bridegroom Cometh” reference to “wildfire”. Delivered at Voice of the Apostles conference in Pennsylvania on 20 October 2012 it prophesies revival coming to Great Britain and Europe. So I replied that Johnny Enlow had brought something in a similar vein 7 days earlier in Windsor UK. (Read my notes on him in Visitors notice heavens more open in England – posted last May! 🙂 

Yes Angela, let us all agree to press in prayer for this revival.

Kingdom Invasion Tour UK – attend the Shamp’s tour if possible

As you may expect from the previous, illustrated post about Charlie Shamp’s visit to Guildford, I can recommend your making the effort to attend, if at all possible.

Those who travelled from south and central Hampshire. London and north Kent were blessed to receive healing. And others came from several hours away, even Ireland.

Those wanting fresh insights into scripture will not be disappointed – but be prepared to be challenged!  For example, rather than ‘doom and gloom’, Charlie brought uplifting thoughts and revelation from the Book of Joel on the ‘blood moon tetrad’.  As in my covering note to the re-blog of Justin Abraham’s announcement, I was blessed many times, especially by confirmations of recent insights!

Lion Bites: Watchmen Arise!

“I heard the Holy Spirit ask, “Where are my watchmen?”

“I am calling my watchmen and watchwomen to arise. I am calling to my intercessors, to those who stand in the gap, to come out of hiding. I am gathering you and I am deploying you this year. Watchmen, would you come out of your hiding and see that I am making a space for you on the earth? 

“The work you do is hidden in the natural but seen in the spiritual. I am not calling you into visibility by man but into acceptance and welcoming by my body. The numbers of my watchmen have been few but I seek to add to you. I will add to you those who have previously been fearful and intimidated by this call and I will add to you even those who ran from the duty in times past. I will multiply your numbers because you are a necessary battalion in my army for these days.”

Those who feel the stirring as you read this – the Lord is anointing you to be a prayerful, Spirit-filled watchman and intercessor for the days ahead. Hear the call of God, follow his direction for He has much to show you and much to do through you!”
 

Ezekiel 3:17
Son of man. I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me.
