THE MOUNT ARARAT PROPHECY

“My Sons and Daughters, I have applied a scalpel to expose inner wounds these last few months, that have lain dormant and have festered deep within you. For arrows from the past could deter you and others, whilst walking in Spirit-led sojourning, from fully achieving My Mandate.  And I am releasing a great healing to those exposed parts,” says the Lord, “where kindness, love and a greater knitting together of hearts will be the inevitable result. And know this: that, just as in 2 Kings 7 I caused the sound of chariots and horses and a great army to be heard,  when four lepers were sick and tired and were at the point of surrendering themselves to the Arameans; I GAVE THEM VICTORY. So, I am also using strange methods to bring about victory in the Spirit Realm for you, and to promote unity amongst My Prophets.  For Noah landed the ark in the mountain lands of Arafat; and so must you prophesy, decree and activate a changing of the seasons as I usher in the emergence of My Spirit in greater measure. Do not be deaf to My Words,” says the Lord. “Mount Arafat is a mountainous plain which flows in many directions and waters flow into the Euphrates, the Tigris, the Aras and the Choruk Rivers.  Open your eyes and see the many nations that will be influenced and turn to Me as you walk in obedience to My Leading and My Spirit, My People. Yea, I say to you clearly,” says the Lord, “that Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Georgia shall bow their knees unto Me, and oppression and persecution shall flee far from them and will no longer be their portion.

I will not be hindered by pharasaical laws, cultural divides or humanistic mindsets,” says the Lord, “for My Word transcends all obstructions made by the enemy through the manipulation of man. I am God, Jehovah, Creator of Heaven and Earth. Do you think that if I created Earth, I cannot save it? Press into Me, My Children, and do not look at natural words or actions. Move by faith and see the changes I shall be bringing to pass in the next 15 years. For I say to you that there shall be a linking of Godly leaders across the Earth and all its inhabitants shall look to them for Godly council. Those that have been disrespected, ridiculed and cast off shall walk in the most pure and holy places as they receive My Words to give to the nations. I choose My Servants not by outward appearance nor by their words. But I declare to you this day,” says the Lord, “I will use the foolish to confound the wise and My Ekklesia shall rule the Earth.”

Acceleration of Biblical End-times events is speeding up!

Upon hearing presenter J.D. Farag’s opening remarks in Sunday’s Mid-East Prophecy Update I was instantly reminded of these intertwined personal revelations:

  1. after being stunned upon hearing,“This is ALL about to be fulfilled” (see The Endgame Is Now In Play) I started monitoring current events more closely, and
  2. noted those related to Bible prophecies occurring with an increasing rapidity!!

This pastor of Calvary Chapel Kaneohe in Honolulu catches everyone’s attention with,

“As I was preparing for today’s Prophecy Update I was struck with how swiftly everything is happening – how fast everything is speeding up. To me, it’s almost as if world leaders are being motivated by some force to move quickly, and to strike while the proverbial iron is hot.

“So, what I want to talk about today is what seems to be this global expediting – of sorts – and in so doing I want to answer the question of ‘Why the fulfillment of Bible prophecy is on fast-forward?’

“I’ve used that illustration before – I do not see anyone or anything being able to push the pause button on how fast things are going. Rather, I see it as someone pushing the fast-forward button – things are moving so fast, so fast!”

What’s especially fascinating is mainstream media is now referring to unexpected turns in geopolitical events and changes in their anticipated timing, to which the Pastor  refers (quoting his downloadable Update; bold emphases his, underlining mine):

  • “Jerusalem Post asks why is the US speeding up its Jerusalem embassy move?
    “The State Department’s announcement …that it will essentially move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in phases, with the first stage to begin as early as May to coincide with Israel’s 70th Independence Day, is a significant shortening of the timeline. So what happened? Why now has the US decided to at least call the current consulate in Jerusalem an embassy and move Ambassador David Friedman and some of his staff to the location by mid May?”…
  • “On Thursday, Arutz Sheva published a report that the Czech President wants the move of their embassy to Jerusalem expedited...
  • “Speaking of the expediting prior to this May, I’m sure that you, like me, were quite stunned by the sudden breaking news that North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un and the U.S. President Donald Trump have agreed to meet prior to May…While the announcement was sudden, Trump…earlier had made a surprise appearance in the White House press briefing room to promise that South Korea would soon make a “major announcement”. …welcomed this …as “very positive”, implying that he believes he is on the verge of a swift and unexpected breakthrough for his so-called “maximum pressure campaign” to force Kim to accept disarmament talks…Thursday, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi…called for Washington and the North “to engage in dialogue sooner rather than later.”
  • “According to Reuters…that Russia, Iran and Turkey aren’t going to wait for May, and instead, will meet next month in April. It’s rumored that Putin, Rouhani and Erdogan who “cooperate closely on Syria”, will (discuss) the situation in Syria.
  • “On Friday, Arutz Sheva published an article about how, in the era of Trump, time is no longer on the side of the Palestinians…quote Education Minister Naftali Bennett as saying President Trump has fundamentally changed the equation in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. According to the Jewish Home chief, President Trump’s historic December 2017 declaration recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and announcing plans for the relocation of the US embassy removed any incentive for the PA leadership to delay final status talks, potentially making negotiations with Israel more likely. The declaration, argued Bennett, has the potential to “allow, or accelerate peace, or enable peace …The Palestinians…over the past 50 years, had a very simple strategy. Time was on their side, so they’ll just wait. And every time they wait, they get a better deal. If you look through ’93, through 2000, in 2007 the deal just got better. So why not wait? What he’s actually done is reverse that vector, that trend, and suddenly, the Palestinians realize that time is not necessarily on their side, and maybe they should start moving.”

PLUS, the PA leader’s health is not good, yet he’s adamant in refusing to change his mind; so his death will unquestionably be a game-changing event!

Pastor stresses (emphases mine), “It’s important to note specific phrases like speeding up, significant shortening of, expedited and accelerated in these reports because they all speak to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, revving up, as the Lord’s return is fast approaching.  Actually, this is the answer to the aforementioned question of why it seems that everything is speeding up with such urgency.”

NINE YEARS AGO:

As implied in the first paragraph, this vital topic of ‘acceleration’ got flagged up early in my private correspondence nine years ago when president Barack Obama had made an unprecedented, albeit temporary, U-turn in his attitude to Israel, as told in Israel’s PM Points to New Testament – Obama Does U-turn.  In it I quoted White House accredited Christian correspondent William Koenig:

“Never before have we had so many biblically significant events evolving at such a rapid pace…it requires a major effort and assistance in an attempt to stay up with them. Only a small percentage of people in the church and a very small percentage of people in the public know of the seriousness of the times…” (emphasis mine)

Only a few months later in asking Could This Weekend Change The World? I quoted his friend and co-author John McTernan’s opinion,

“Those that are anchored in the Bible and believe the prophetic word, understand what is happening. Events seem to be accelerating towards the Day of LORD. Our hope is in the Blessed Hope, the Lord Jesus coming for His church.” (emphasis mine)

Subsequently, the momentum gathered pace as the number of Biblically-related events heads towards a deluge as we approach the fulfillment of all Bible prophecy. So we can soon expect to see Biblical and contemporary prophetic words and visions converge to fulfill Holy Writ. As J.D. Farag concludes (note numbers for next post):

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” (Revelation 22:7)

Bible Update: Ezekiel 38-39 – Iran vs. Israel : USA and Russia?

After the weekend news of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard’s threat to ‘open the gates of hell’ over the Zionist regime (not the first such threat) and all American bases, we look at the headlines from pre-MSM (mainstream media) DEBKAfile and a few from MSM in Israel as a synopsis of latest events in Israel and in Syria. Yesterday’s DEBKAfile report Iran’s Saegheh drone in Syria a worry for US as well as Israel gives penetrating insights into this conflict, as hinted in this extract:

‘The infiltrator drone was discovered to have been part of a whole fleet of advanced armed Saegheh UAVs housed at the T-4 base. The second wave of Israeli air strikes against 12 Syrian and Iranian targets decimated this fleet. Most importantly, the drone intrusion and its sequel exposed the incident to have been no one-off,  but part of a calculated Iranian plot against Israel at the highest level, that was coordinated in advance with the Russian air force, which shares the use of T-4, and the Syrian air defense systems, which operate under Russian command. It is equally important to note that Iran brought its Saegheh UAV’s to Syria with Moscow’s consent.
This may be accounted for by the drone’s unique provenance.

‘In a long and arduous process of reverse engineering, Iran’s munitions industry copied some of the components of the CIA’s most secret stealth drone, the RQ-170 Sentinel, after it was intercepted and captured over Iran in December 2011. The American drone, armed and capable of detecting clandestine nuclear tests, is rated the finest UAV of its kind in operation. Tehran claimed it had intercepted the Sentinel’s overflight by taking control of the American surveillance satellite communications which navigated the drone’s course. This was vehemently denied by Washington. At the time, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources revealed that the those responsible for the feat of bringing the secret American drone down intact were not Iranian but Chinese cyber experts.

Pray for Pope Francis to take a stand upon the Bible

Thursday 18th to 25th January is designated as Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which was started 110 years ago within the Roman Catholic Church and has since become an international ecumenical act of observance.

In Liphook, Anglican, Methodist and Catholic churches each sent a representative to the next church in that sequence to say the morning prayers during yesterday’s services. In our Church Centre, after leading the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray, Catholic Richard T opened his prayers for unity by praying for the Pope and all church leaders.

I added personally that Pope Francis have a direct revelation of the Lord’s heart for and of holy writ concerning Jerusalem because his recent actions have left a great deal to be desired. It certainly appears he’s either ignorant of the scriptures, or has an entirely different agenda, notwithstanding apparently benign intentions.

Were Pope Francis a Bible-believing Christian he’d need to abide by that church’s own teachings on scripture’s authority. His predecessor Leo XII’s famous encyclical of 1893  ‘Providentissimus Deus‘ on ‘the importance for Catholics to study the Holy Scriptures solemnly affirms that the entire Bible is God’s Word, holy and true’. Fifty years later Pope Pius XII in his encyclical ‘Divino Afflante Spiritu’ notes how Leo’s program for scriptural studies bore great fruit so that “confidence in the authority and historical value of the Bible..among Catholics is completely restored”!  [The Holy Family Bible, 1956]

Thus, Pope Francis has no excuse for failing to stand upon even the very few scriptures covered in this blog on the centrality of Jerusalem in Divine Providence, or for lending support to teaching and doctrines opposed to God’s Holy Word!

POPE FRANCIS’ REACTIONS

Friday 19th January’s Koenig’s Eye View From The White House lists events under the sub-head ‘Pope Francis siding with Muslims over Jerusalem, supports an Arab State in Judea and Samaria, meeting with Muslim leaders‘:

December 6, 2017: Pope supports UN Resolutions on Jerusalem

“Everyone should be committed to respecting the city’s status quo, in accordance with the pertinent UN resolutions …I pray to the Lord that its identity to be preserved and strengthened for the benefit of the Holy Land, the Middle East and the whole world and that wisdom and prudence prevail to prevent new elements of tension from being added to a global context already convulsed by so many cruel conflicts.”

December 25, 2017: Pope supports two-states and asks for peace in Jerusalem and the Holy Land. supports UN borders

“We see Jesus in the children of the Middle East who continue to suffer because of growing tensions between Israelis and Palestinians. On this festive day, let us ask the Lord for peace for Jerusalem and for all the Holy Land. Let us pray that the will to resume dialogue may prevail between the parties and that a negotiated solution can finally be reached, one that would allow the peaceful coexistence of two States within mutually agreed and internationally recognized borders.”

January 19, 2018: Pope renews call to maintain Jerusalem status quo

Referring to “the unique nature of Jerusalem” in a letter to Egypt’s top Muslim cleric, Ahmed al-Tayeb, Francis said that “only a special status, guaranteed by the international community, can preserve its identity, (and) unique vocation as a place of peace.”  Only that “would allow a future of reconciliation and hope for the entire region,” he said. “The Holy See will not cease from urgently calling for dialogue to resume between Israelis and Palestinians for a negotiated solution aimed at the peaceful coexistence of two states,” the letter continued.

As that cleric should be treated with the utmost suspicion, the pontiff’s dealings with him could be regarded as the height of stupidity or duplicity!

Koenig is of the opinion that, in his continued support for an Arab State in Judea, Samaria and E Jerusalem, the Pope needs to read the Bible’s prophecies, especially Zechariah chapter 12.  Also that, having met with Jordanian leader King Abdullah II, Francis will – along with Turkey’s president Erdogan on February 5 – call on President Trump to reverse his Jerusalem declarations.  Not forgetting that last month Erdogan cited the Pope’s statements in support of his outrage against Trump and Israel!!

DUPED PONTIFF & MENDACIOUS IMAM?

Not taking a stand upon the Word of God leaves Rome’s Pontiff the fall-guy to ‘the most influential Muslim in the world’ (2013 survey).  The Kingdom’s expectation of high levels of personal honesty expected of disciples and knowledge of ‘The Father of Lies’ makes Christians blithely ignorant of religiously sanctioned lying in order to protect or promote Islam.

As I stated in Catholic and Orthodox Churches Choose Fealty to 7th Century Muslim Edict,  deception and dissimulation are sanctioned in the Qur’an under the doctrine of  taqiyya. According to a former Islamic studies professor at the American University of Beirut, Sami Mukaram, “Taqiyya is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era”.

“There’s nothing like knowing Arabic—that is, being privy to the Muslim world’s internal conversations on a daily basis — to disabuse oneself of the supposed differences between so-called “moderate” and “radical” Muslims.”  (Raymond Ibrahim, author of The Al Qaeda Reader.)

Pope Francis gave a noble speech upon meeting Ahmed Al-Tayeb last April (read his 12 Key Points) – and has since met him a third time – but author Raymond, of Coptic Christian parents, thoroughly demolishes the facade in documenting the cleric’s history of adherence to all the extreme demands and nuances of Islam in ‘The Real Bomb is in Islam’s Books‘ and Dr Ahmed al-Tayeb: Meet “the World’s Most Influential Muslim”, published 2017 and 2016 respectively.

So, let’s pray for the scales to fall from the pontiff’s eyes and for him to hear our Father in Heaven on this whole issue. Also, for Ahmed al-Tayeb to have a ‘Damascus road’ experience of his supposed prophet Jesus being The Son of God…AMEN!

Prophetic Scripture Update #5: Gog-Magog coalition solidifies, Assad’s secret visit to Russia

THE HOLY BIBLE CONTINUES TO DISPLAY ITS RELEVANCE TO TODAY’S NEWS

As I read yesterday’s (Wednesday 22nd November) Telegraph report it kept speaking to me of chapter 38 in the Book of Ezekiel. That’s where the Lord told that Old Testament prophet about a future international alliance that would come against His people.

As outlined in Update #2, Ezekiel 38 and 39 describe an alliance known as ‘the Gog and Magog’ coalition that will eventually invade the land the Holy One of Israel gave to His people. Most Bible scholars regard the various people named as forming that group  as coming from the land between and north of the Black and Caspian Seas. ie modern Russia.

The prophet received a word from the Lord to ‘set his face’ against Gog, a leader of those nations north of Israel and which include Persia/Iran. And in coming into battle he and those nations would be used for God’s own purpose for this almighty battle:

“So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel. I will not let them profane My name anymore – Then the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.” (Ezekiel 38:7 NKJV)

Let’s check the pertinent points of Middle East correspondent Raf Sanchez report, emphases mine.  His opening gives the game away!!

‘Syria’s Bashar al-Assad has thanked Vladimir Putin and the Russian military for helping to save his country as the Russian president prepared to host the leaders of Iran and Turkey for high-level talks on ending the war in Syria. Mr Assad made a secret visit to Socchi (Black Sea resort) on Monday…(where he) met Mr Putin for 3 hours to discuss a potential political settlement for Syria’s future…

‘Mr Putin ordered Russian forces to intervene in Syria on Mr Assad’s behalf in late 2015…(and) with their Iranian allies have swung the tide of war decisively in Mr Assad’s favour.

‘The Kremlin said the two men had worked to “prepare the groundwork for possible understandings” that might be reached during today’s (22nd) summit between Mr Putin, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.

‘ Iran and Russia supported the Assad regime throughout the war whilst Turkey has backed the opposition. The three countries have acted as guarantors of local deals in Syria and Mr Putin hopes they will be able to agree on a comprehensive pact to end the fighting.

Mr Putin has placed himself centre-stage in talks over Syria’s future. As well as hosting the Turkish and Iranian leaders, he spoke to Donald Trump by phone…briefing him on the talks with Mr Assad.

‘The Geneva talks (with Syrian opposition) have collapsed several times…observers agree it’s more likely major decisions will be made by Russia, Iran and Turkey.’

SO, WHO’s IN CHARGE? Clearly the Russian leader is! Although often disagreeing with each other, the leaders of Iran and Turkey kowtow to him.

MEANWHILE ON ISRAELI-SYRIAN BORDER

Previous posts on Gog/Magog referred to the Iranian strategy of getting a strong swathe of influence westwards from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean by means of proxy-terrorist, regular military and diplomatic activities. In view of their declared ambition of attacking and capturing Jerusalem, Iran’s military presence in the Golan and within 10 miles of Israel is totally unacceptable to the Israeli government.

Several bulletin point headlines in Middle-East Update #2 highlight those deep issues. Note the reference to a special ‘eschatological’ brigade in the Golan. One whose aim is undoubtedly to prepare the ground for the Shiite Mahdi to appear (with Jesus in tow!) – obviously a blasphemous counterfeit of Christian theology. (Read more on this in third section of Iran and the Nuclear ‘Fix’.)

Moreover, Monday’s long telephone conversation between Putin and PM Netanyahu ended up with them at odds over removing Iran/Hizballah from the Golan border (Debka). It would appear Donald Trump has quietly withdrawn the US from involvement on this front. Having close Christian input, details of the Ezekiel 38 Gog-Magog prophecy will have been brought to his attention.

In Daniel Revisited Mark presents a thorough analysis of visions of OT prophet Daniel and Apostle John in relation to existing and subsequent Middle-eastern alliances.

His fascinating thesis examines the four beasts of Daniel 7, comparing the territorial identities of the 7-headed dragon of Revelation 12 with the Islamic realm of nations.

In his latest post Albania’s Tie to Turkey Confirmed, Mark writes:

‘Turkey is building rapport affecting the lives of Albanians and “helping” the country culturally and economically.

‘The Signpost theory tells us there is a coming Sunni Confederacy which will be the main player during the Third Signpost. Turkey will lead a group of nations in the region that ally with Turkey. One of those nations is predicted to be Albania.

‘Turkey’s foreign policy in the region around Turkey is summed up as follows:

“In the years following the demise of communism in Albania, Turkey emerged as an important factor to shape Albania’s transition from a totalitarian regime to a pluralistic democratic one. The aim of Turkey’s foreign policy towards the Balkans, apart from securing the stability and security of the region, was to establish and strengthen economic and cultural ties.”

‘We have seen reports before of Turkey’s involvement with Albania. This article supports the idea that when the time comes and Turkey is looking for allies in its war against Iran, Albania will help.’

Many events in the Middle East continue to contribute to the Signpost’s fulfilling of end time prophecy. Once in a while a more significant event comes along, like Erdoğan being granted dictatorial power earlier this month. This past month saw another event – though more subtle – which could be just as earth-shaking. This subtle event might not only clue us in as to how Iran could invade eastern Turkey and get away with it, but also, incredibly, give us a harbinger for when the Second Signpost is about to start!

This subtle event in the news is something the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, stated in a recent interview. It won’t sound like much unless you understand the politics and history of the region.

Welcome changes for Israel-Syria border on the Golan Heights

You may know of the grave consternation in recent weeks over Russian proposals to station Iranian and Turkish officers on Israel’s borders for monitoring the potential cease-fire “de-escalation” zones in Syria, yet being dangerous military threat (Debkafile special report 27 April). Last week, Moscow agreed instead to replace them with Russian military officers in the Mt. Hermon region and the areas where the Israeli, Lebanese and Syrian borders meet (Debkfile report 11 May).

Even so, according to Debkafile’s military sources explanation, ‘Damascus and Tehran acted to pre-empt the US-Jordanian-Israeli military operations along the Israeli and Jordanian borders with Syria, lest they lead to the carving out of US-controlled security zones in southern Syria’.

However, this morning’s news from this pre-mainstream media source is that elite units from Britain, America and Jordan have now been deployed to protect this highly strategic area.  

Debkafile reports, ‘They were acting to counter the Syrian-Iranian scheme to nullify the American plan for posting Jordanian forces in southeastern Syria, which (is) timed for the days before US President Donald Trump’s trip to the Middle East. 

‘The US-led armored force with British and Jordanian units crossed from northern Jordan through the Tanf Border-Crossing between the Hashemite Kingdom, Iraq and Syria, and took up positions capable of consolidating their control of the main road between Palmyra and Baghdad. Some of their moves were coordinated with Israel.’

‘This push aimed at countering the drive in the last few days by hundreds of Syrian troops, Iranian-backed…militias and Hizballah…special forces, with tanks and heavy equipment, to take over the town of Sabaa Biyar…’

In view of these significant military developments it is well that the West no longer has a leader of dis-reputable stance dealing with Middle-Eastern and the God-Magog nations (principally Russia, Iran, Turkey). Nevertheless, Debka concludes, ‘For the time being, the Trump administration’s plans for an offensive against the Islamic State appear to have been put on a back burner’.

Further to my remarks on Islam in my Condolences for victims of the Westminster attack, in which I quoted the Midnight Words for 2017 on the shaking of Muslim nations and their reception of the Gospel, and the word of wisdom from the Lord on praying for Muslims and the exposure of extremists that Cindy Jacobs brought, the outcome of this week’s Arab Summit is apposite.

A PROPHECY AND A VISION

First, let’s check that word Revd John Kilpatrick clearly heard a couple of months ago:

“Because the Lord is no respecter of persons, a GREAT shaking is coming to the Muslim nations. It will be sudden! It will be an unexpected and unexplained shaking that will redefine many Muslim nations and their leadership structures. The Lord is now in the process of shaking institutions, cultures, dialects, nationalities, governments, political structures and their frameworks, which men have trusted through generations. Many of them will be so shaken they cannot survive the shaking. Holy Spirit will even destabilize power structures, and many of those things that men have relied upon will ultimately fail. Truth will grip men’s hearts like a vice, even the unbelievers’ hearts and the hearts of the heathen. Ears will be opened to hear, even the ears of the unregenerates.”

Also, I recall the astonishing dream I had in 1992 about the fall of Islam being similar to that of Communism; first one state then another, just like a row of dominoes rolling over! (See Ask For The Nations.)  So we’re living in the exciting first phase of the Endtimes.

ARAB SUMMIT CONDEMNS IRAN

As hoped in my remarks about a new ‘Arab Spring’ in A Historic Day Nationally and Globally, there’s been some easing of relationship between the Sunni Arab leaders and Israel despite their ratified commitment to a two-state solution for Palestine. A new round of peace talks based upon the 2002 ‘reconciliation’ offer was called for.

The ‘Dead Sea’ summit held in Jordan is significant in having been devoted to indicting Iran, its Revolutionary Guards Corps and Hezbollah, its terrorist surrogate in Lebanon. This resulted in 15 resolutions being passed against Iran AND calling for its being held to its commitments under the nuclear and regional treaties. As Debkafile reports:

‘Iran was accused of meddling in the internal affairs of Arab nations, inciting Shiites against Sunnis, and arming and training Shiite terrorist groups for operations against legitimate Arab governments. The Arab rulers combined to put Tehran in the dock for its interference in the Syrian civil war and assault on its sovereignty.

None of the formal resolutions addressed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and reference was made to the desired solution in a later separate statement. Debka notes especially:

‘This was the first Arab summit to refrain from defining Israel’s future borders under a peace deal. This leaves the door open for leeway in the negotiations to take place as part of the new US-Saudi-Egyptian peace initiative we reported earlier now the subject of active exchanges between the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the Palestinian Authority. King Abdullah of Jordan, who hosted the summit and Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi will travel to Washington to report to President Donald Trump on the private discussions on this issue at the session and launch the next stage of the Arab-Israeli peace initiative.’

In reporting and analysing the event ICEJ News states, without reminding readers of Abbas’ persistent refusal to make/abide by agreements, ‘Jordanian King Abdullah and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas both had sharp words of criticism for Israel during the conference, saying among other things that its policy of building in West Bank settlements is the main reason peace has not yet been achieved’.

Moreover we remind ourselves of the region’s volatile instability, as historian, archeologist Alexander Joffe notes:

‘Syria, Yemen, and Libya are effectively no more, Iraq is divided between an Iranian rump, a shrinking ISIS entity, and an independent Kurdistan (in all but name), and Lebanon is a Shiite-dominated shell. The Palestinian Authority is a pseudo-state that exists only thanks to foreign aid and Israeli security assistance.’  (Palestinians and the Balfour Declaration at 100: Resisting the Past)

Not to mention Turkey, the egomaniacal despot of which furthers his ambitions of reviving the defunct Ottoman Empire!  Furthermore, his tirade against the Netherlands threatening “tomorrow in no part of the world, no European, no Westerner, will be able to take steps on the street safely and peacefully”, was made less than 24 hours before the Westminster outrage! Prophetic Scripture Update #3: Gog-Magog coalition and Middle-East alliance

So annoying yet interesting that my first draft of this post accidentally got published as I wrote its title. I wanted to jot a few notes before going out for a few hours, but I noticed something weird after having done the opening paragraph. Somehow it had already got published as just a title! So I updated it briefly 15 minutes after publication with what I’d done and an apology for anyone responding to the email notification.

BUT even more weird was what came next upon checking the morning news from Israel before going out. I kid you not – ‘Fortunately’, I’d printed a hardcopy for reading upon return because the website’s page went blank, then text/image placements and bits of text and coding appeared, and then it got completely scrambled. So I took a screen shot:

The page I wanted had only just been broadcast 5 minutes beforehand (09:57 BST) and is about an alternative alliance to ‘Gog-Magog’ and which is meeting tomorrow (Wed)! More of that later…but nothing as weird as this has happened since two incidents covering Iran whilst blogging!

EZEKIEL: GOG and MAGOG

After publishing #2 on Gog-Magog Tensions On The Golan within a similar 1/2 hour time-frame to this morning I added a couple of paragraphs plus further reading for any readers unfamiliar with Ezekiel’s account in chapter 38 of his prophetic scroll. Whilst doing so I considered the current status of what I’d termed the ‘Ezekiel alliance’ in my pre-blog and early blogging days. The term is a correct description but I now prefer ‘coalition’ in view of the normally inferred meaning of a geopolitical alliance as being one in which the UK is an active member. So I’ll now repeat and expand a little upon that extra material:

The Gog and Magog war against Israel is described in Ezekiel 38 and 39. The prophet received a word from the Lord to ‘set his face’ against Gog (‘prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal’); ie leader of a coalition of nations north of Israel comprising Persia/Iran, Libya (‘Put’), Ethiopia (‘Cush’), ‘Asia Minor’ (Gomer and Togarmah).

Most Bible scholars regard ‘Rosh’ and ‘Gog’ as coming from the land between and north of the Black and Caspian Seas. ie modern Russia. The Lord has a purpose for this battle, namely:

“So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel. I will not let them profane My name anymore – Then the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.” (Ezek 38:7 NKJV)

This battle also features in Revelation 20:7-10 as precursor to the battle of Armageddon and satan’s doom in the fiery lake.

UPDATES – Libya, Russia & Iran

The build-up of the coalition of the main, leading nations led by a superpower has gained momentum in starting to mirror the composition of peoples prophesied by Ezekiel. I was puzzled about the inclusion of Libya in view of its break-up after Gadaffi.  In the days of my emails on End-times and early blogging it was part of the ‘Ezekiel alliance’, but now?

My doubts were soon alleviated because a few days later I spotted this headline ‘Russian ties to Libyan Warlord ‘undeniable’, says US general’.  The article opens: ‘Russia has deployed troops to Egypt amid a strengthening of ties between Moscow and General Khalifa Haftar, the warlord who controls much of the eastern part of Libya, a US general said on Friday. 

‘Marine Gen. Thomas Waldhauser, the commander of U.S. Africa Command, said the link between Russia and General Haftar, the head of a group called the Libyan National Army, is “undeniable”.  “They are on the ground. They are trying to influence the action. We watch what they do with great concern”, he told reporters in the Pentagon on Friday…’

Eastern Libya was known as biblical ‘Put’. SO, Libya’s back in the Endgame folks!

AND, this afternoon comes this news: Putin meets Iran’s Rouhani as ties deepen – Russian president tells his Iranian counterpart the two countries “work very effectively, practically on all fronts in international action and the resolution of major and very grave international problems”!  Note that upon returning to Iran he announced the building of a railroad from Iran to the Mediterranean coast via Iraq and Syria.

In view of the preceding, Debkfile’s ‘exclusive report’ High hopes of Arab summit OK for Israel peace step is exceptionally informative:

‘If the Arab summit opening in Amman Wednesday, March 9 meets the expectations of Washington and Jerusalem, the session will ratify a pivotal initiative for promoting an historic peace process between the Arab world and Israel. This effort, which matured through five months of mostly secret diplomacy, was launched by Donald Trump in November, shortly after he was elected US President.

‘The official Arab summit agenda covers the disastrous war crises preying on the Arab world in Syria, Yemen and Iraq, as well as economic issues. But the rulers will also quietly discuss off-stage a proposal brought by Saudi King Salman and Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi to embark on steps destined to lead to peaceful relations between the moderate Arab regimes and Israel and exponentially to a resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. (Emphases added)

‘Debkafile’s sources in Washington and Jerusalem report exclusively that President Trump and Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman crafted this proposal at the White House on March 14, during the prince’s trip to Washington. It was the high point of their talks, although they also aired and reached agreement on the war crises in Syria and Yemen, as well as America’s next steps against Iran on both those fronts and in the Gulf region…

‘The text they agreed at this White House encounter calls for three steps to be launched without delay for promoting progress towards a historic accommodation between the Arab world and the Jewish state. 

‘…Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas furiously rejected the Saudi peace initiative when it was presented to him in Cairo by President El-Sisi in Cairo on March 20.

Thus we are witnessing the formation of two geopolitically and religiously divergent camps (Sunni and Shiite muslims) in the Middle-East – and we know what the Living Lord God Almighty, the Holy One of Israel has forewarned and foretold about one coalition in particular…

Debkafile’s exclusive report of Tuesday 7 March 2017 reminds me of December’s prayer alert from Veronika west concerning Russia and America against ISIS.

After analysing the six urgent challenges facing American, Russian and Turkish forces, Debka updates its Monday’s news of US armoured column deployed around strategic town of Manbij held by Russian-backed forces to deter aggression other than with ISIS as follows: 

‘For the first time ever, the top soldiers of the United States, Russia and Turkey are holding a secret meeting in the Turkish town of Antalya for an urgent two-day effort to avert a clash between their three armies, which stand ominously face to face in northern Syria….’

The report concludes: Debkafile’s military sources describe this unique rendezvous as the most important US-Russian military meeting since Donald Trump took office on Jan. 20.

‘The three generals are most certainly working with open lines to their presidents – Gen. Dunford to President Trump; Gen. Gerasimov, to Vladimir Putin; and Gen. Akar, to Tayyip Erdogan. If they succeed in pulling off deals for working together, with their presidents’ endorsement, Trump will have achieved his oft-repeated target of teaming up with Moscow for eradicating ISIS.

‘Putin, too, will have chalked up an historic diplomatic and strategic feat. For the first time since the end of World War II, and after years of cold war, the Russian and American armies will come together to fight a common enemy, namely radical Islamic terror, and create an umbrella for the Russian military operation to branch out into Iraq.

‘Erdogan will also come out ahead of the game. Turkey and its army will become strategic partners in determining Syria’s future and fighting ISIS. And Barack Obama’s departure from the White House will have marked the start of Turkey’s ascent to regional power status ahead of Iran.’

In a stunning night of violence, conspiracy and dramatic reversals, an attempted coup by a faction of Turkish military officers and soldiers determined to bring down the increasingly authoritarian and dangerous Islamist regime of President Recep Erdogan has failed.

Now what? What does the future hold for the nearly 80 million Muslims of Turkey?

Erdogan (pronounced “Air-do-wan”) was out of the country when the coup began late Friday night. But he was in contact with top generals who were loyal to him. By the wee hours of the morning, his plane landed in Istanbul and he announced that he was firmly back in control.

Calling the coup plotters “terrorists” engaged in “treason,” he ordered the arrest of more than 700 military officers and soldiers so far, saying “the army must be cleansed” of anyone disloyal to him.

4 Signposts perspective: Russia’s withdrawal from Syria

Mark Davidson’s analysis of this in the light of Daniel 8 is noteworthy, keeping in mind the ‘Gog-Magog’ alliance of Ezekiel 38. Debkafile claims last month’s rift between Tehran and Moscow is because of the latter’s collaboration with USA to end the conflict whereas Iran wants hostilities to continue. Their report shows Russia wants to keep its paw in the door. Also, in view of Putin’s disingenuous claims to pull troops out of Ukraine, “which later turned out to be merely routine rotation of forces”, UK’s Foreign Secretary is sceptical, saying “Russia is completely un-transparent about its motives and its plans, (so) we can only speculate.” (Brietbart) UPDATE 16/3: Russia keeping its S-400 anti-aircraft missiles (withheld from Iran at Israel’s request) in Syria until Saudi warplane build-up in Turkey is reversed (Debka Exclusive). The news came out today that Putin is withdrawing the main part of Russian forces from Syria. It will maintain the airbase and naval base, but most of the fighter aircraft used in airstrikes and the support forces for those fighters, are being withdrawn. Putin said that the mission is completed.

For those who still cling to the idea that Russia will have a major role in the Middle East during the end times, this would seem like a reversal of what is “supposed to happen.” But for the Signposts, and particularly the Second Signpost, everything continues on course.

There has been a false story of a military move by Saudi Arabia and its allies invading Syria. We are seeing a “rumor of war” and like most rumors there is a kernel of truth but it has been blown up to greatly exaggerated proportions.

I was going to ignore the whole story until I had a conversation this morning. Charlie and Keith had me on their program Good Morning Ozarks this morning – and it’s always a pleasure visiting with those two. One thing they briefly mentioned was this report of 350,000 invading Syria, and how it had many people there in Branson greatly concerned.  I consider Charlie and Keith to be dear brothers and Branson to be a microcosm of the church. The story has indeed encroached on many Christian news outlets with large audiences.  Here is an example of…

Update on Update 2 – Islamist terror

It’s intriguing that whilst I was writing my unplanned previous post about Saudi Arabia that news was breaking on King Salman’s action against Islamic terrorism.

Debka Breaking News reports,

‘new counter-terrorism coalition announced Tuesday by Saudi Arabia, includes 34 nations with large and established armies such as Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt, war-torn countries such as Libya and Yemen and African nations under terror assault, such as Mali, Chad, Somalia and Nigeria. But Shiite Iran is not a member, nor Iraq which has a large Shiite majority. The new alliance would be Saudi-led and its operations center based in Riyadh. It will be committed to fighting terrorism which “is forbidden by Islam as a serious violation of human dignity and rights, especially the right to life and the right to security.”
‘DEBKAfile: No organizations are mentioned by name in the statement – including the Islamic State.The durability of this alliance is widely compared to that of the 65-member anti-ISIS coalition often hailed by President Obama – long on paper, short in action.’
