2/12, 1st Sunday in Advent 2012

WHAT A DAY, WHAT A DATE!  And what a story; whether it be past, present or future version, each strand links into the grand theme. As some say, history is His story. So today’s post is more an illustrated short, but true, story.

In western churches Sunday 2nd December 2012 marks the beginning of Advent – the weeks of expectant preparation leading into celebrating Jesus Christ’s birth in ancient Bethlehem. For too many weeks, however, shops have displayed the tacky commercial side of the season.

So it is interesting to note Wikipedia’s entry on Advent, and I was especially surprised upon its emphasis being not upon Jesus’ birth, but upon His return, viz.:

Latin adventus is the translation of the Greek word parousia, commonly used in reference to the Second Coming of Christ. For Christians, the season of Advent anticipates the coming of Christ from two different perspectives. The season offers the opportunity to share in the ancient longing for the coming of the Messiah, and to be alert for his Second Coming. The theme of readings and teachings during Advent is often to prepare for the Second Coming while commemorating the First Coming of Christ at Christmas. With the view of directing the thoughts of Christians to the first coming of Jesus Christ as savior and to his second coming as judge, special readings are prescribed for each of the four Sundays in Advent….

Readers familiar with my personal story may recall Advent’s significance in this blog’s raison d’etre (details at close of this post).  And once again I’m astonished by something relevant, and which I hope will be an encouragement to readers seeking God or already walking with Him. So let your imagination follow me in what happened…

Last Sunday

‘On a roll’ getting off to church I realised I wasn’t carrying my hefty New King James study Bible so, approaching our front door, I grabbed my old New International Version Insight Bible. After scraping thick frost off the car’s windows I drove off. It’s an easy 22 miles via the 1-year old Hindhead Tunnel, and bursting through into brilliant sunlight brought splendid views over the Surrey hills.

Tunnel - Surrey side

A mother and baby were picked up en-route and, arriving later than usual at a school cafe outside Godalming, there was time for a quick coffee before the service started at Well Church International. The young chap on guitar leads those gathered in worship of the Living God. As everyone focuses upon Jesus, however, “John 13” pops into mind. So I pick up my Insight Bible from the table and check it out, trying not to distract others.

My old, floppy paperback Bible is well-worn, some verses covered in yellow highlighter and marginalia jottings on teachers’ remarks, and my own thoughts, as seen below…

John 13-14Is there something specifically for me to read in John13, Lord?”  The headers therein are ‘Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet’, ‘Jesus Predicts His Betrayal’, ‘Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial’. Nothing stood out other than verse 13, “A new command I give you: Love one another….By this all men will know you are my disciples” Then it leads into chapter 14 where Jesus tells them not to be troubled about what’s going to happen, that He’s going to, “Father’s house…to prepare a place for you. I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the place to where I am going…

Thomas butts in, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way there?” Jesus answered him with that well-known personal attestation,

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” (John 14:6-7)

I notice my annotation in red made during a conference 7 years ago, then ponder if any of this may be of signficance – and what that may be!

John 14 notePutting my Bible down I get back into worship – only to pick it up minutes later to focus upon those verses. A few minutes later young Danny motors straight into a new song about the door into heaven – and my jaw drops. I’ve just read that in my jottings!

Seven years ago a teacher said verse 14:6 means, “I am the doorway into Father’s throne-room; I open heaven” (see note in red in image to left). A couple of minutes later I go to the front and read this scripture and refer to my explanatory note to encourage everyone.

Mmmm very interesting, especially in view of what had happened only last week.

Later, sitting at the table and completing our offering envelope I question myself about the date. “Yesterday was Nina’s annual spiritual birthday party, that is 1st Dec so it’s 2nd”, I thought. THEN, the moment I start writing ‘2/12…’ I’m hit by that number. [For her birthday card I’d wanted to quote the opening lines of Psalm 91 and took out an old NIV of hers only to find she’d annotated it’s start with ‘God our protector’. So I used those words for her card. As evident from these two events, it’s clear that He knows our jottings!]

I’d had occasion to discover ‘212’ again just before writing about this blog’s anniversary, as here.  Last December I’d been impressed with the possible connection of a house number with the new year of 2012.  After all, it’s just any old house, any old number. Yet between then and now a tiny thought had made me wonder if it may be something to do with an actual date in 2012. Then I completely forgot all about that!  Until now, that is.

But that was nothing to what was to follow…

Our minister Lindi Masters had returned home to South Africa for Christmas but not without printing December’s diary sheet. Copies of this were on each table and I’d not had chance to see it until after our visiting German pastor’s message.  After he finished I took the sheet and turning over was stunned!

Dec 2012 reverseThere, on its reverse, is a copy of the latest news-letter from Paul Keith Davis but abridged to make ‘The Open Door’ its leading sub-header!  AND it just so happens I’d received my own copy of his newsletter only three days earlier – AND during that very night, whilst wide-awake, I’d already been blessed to see the door to which he refers!  As I’d lain awake in bed but eyes closed, I sensed in the middle of darkness an open doorway, but devoid of door, and beyond which was nothing but gentle light. (Click on image to read, and for full content Paul Keith’s newsletter click here.)

No wonder I was utterly stunned in amazement by these three ‘coincidences’ on the ‘open door’!  Is it all a ‘sign and a wonder’?  Bemused, I next recalled that the ‘212’ house number of my childhood home was affixed to the top of the front door. So could the insertion of a zero suggest an open door, or portal, indicating that 212 could become 2o12?  This speaks to me of two kinds of home addresses, one earthly and the other heavenly. I wonder…

Note: the date of my Bible’s note is ‘3.3.5’, which is exactly 7 years 9 months ago, or 93 months ago. Although not into detailed numerical anlysis I can’t but help noting these digits total 12 (9+3=12), and we’re in the 12th month of the 12th year of this century.

All told, an exciting start to Advent. What could it portend?

Update on ‘Media manipulation’

Sadly, there seems to be evidence that the ‘manipulation mentality’ about which I wrote (here, here and here) may be affecting the BBC’s staff themselves.  Could entrenched mindsets be hindering their ability to comprehend and effectively communicate?

The strange story of a complaint to the BBC tells of their peculiar reply to a listener’s complaint. This report demonstrates the BBC complaints people either failed to read the submission, or else were incapable of comprehending its content. Their reply bizarrely twisted its meaning, gave a rambling self-justification and did not address the concerns. BBC Watch draws this conclusion.:

One cannot but wonder how many other complaints are being registered by the BBC as the exact opposite of what they actually are and how that influences the reliability of the BBC’s complaints statistics and the resulting appraisals of its own performance.

Courtesy of BBC Watch

Incidentally, I’m loathe to think and write in a judgemental manner and so I was reticent about my posting on yellow journalism. But then by ‘sheer coincidence’, after typing it, I checked BBC Watch only to read the lasted news of a ‘yellow card’ for the journalist in question!  So it was probably more a ‘God-incidence’, perhaps to show He’s doing more shaking, as prophesied in January (here and here).  So watch out for more, lots more…

26 Then [at Mount Sinai] His voice shook the earth, but now He has given a promise: Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the [starry] heavens. 27 Now this expression, Yet once more, indicates the final removal and transformation of all [that can be] shaken—that is, of that which has been created—in order that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. 28 Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; 29 For our God [is indeed] a consuming fire. –  Amplified Bible: Hebrews chapter 12]

Media manipulation of thought and emotions

Frankly I don’t like fault-finding and criticising, as in recent posts. Nevertheless, there is  Godly authority for Christians to do so whenever necessary. This ‘standing instruction’ is found in Apostle Paul’s directions for walking in Love, Wisdom and Light, as in his letter to the early church in Ephesus. So, before putting this matter (hopefully) to rest with examples of media manipulation, it behoves us to consider Paul’s words.:

6 Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments [for these sins], for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience. 7 So do not associate or be sharers with them.

8 For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light]…

11 Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and enterprises of darkness, but instead  expose and reprove and convict them…13 But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light. [Amplified Bible; see Ephesians 5 in full]

Regrettably, deception and lies abound throughout all forms of public life and media; as in the activities of press and police in phone and email hacking scandal. Much has been written, many got hot under the collar, and top leaders deeply divided over the issue of  freedom of the press and the controversial recommendations of Lord Leveson’s Inquiry. [For a brief summary see Gillan Scott’s: Leveson – where do we go from here?]

Censorship laws were abolished in 1695, so the introduction of the first press statute in over 310 years would be yet another step towards increasing state control.  [My family forebears required a licence, or ‘patent’, to print even the Authorised King James Bible! In view of threats of sedition and rebellion that faced Tudor and Jacobean monarchs,  eg. the Gunpowder Plot, printers could operate only with the sovereign’s permission – see my personal notes.]

Free speech in America is protected under the First Amendment to the US Constitution, but in Britain liberties once protected by convention are now seriously undermined by Section 5 of the Public Order Act. Anyone who feels offended or insulted – for any silly reason! – may bring a criminal prosecution!!  [More: Christian Institute and Cranmer.]

Human nature being what it is, the combination of freedom to speak and write enabled unsavoury elements of the press to make dramatic, sensational and inaccurate stories for the sake of attracting more readers.  This happened over 110 years ago in the USA, as outlined in The ‘Yellow Fever’ of Journalism.

Eventually, this kind of publishing spread to the UK, as evident in the tabloid press wars and started to afflict the once highly reputable British Broadcasting Corporation as well as The Guardian, successor to the renowned  Manchester Guardian. [This famous local paper was essential reading for me as a 6th form student at school only 15 miles from the city – read brief history and of its interest in Zionism and Palestine.]

Consequently, it’s with unease that I see sensational and deliberate inaccuracy within once-august organisations’ coverage of factual material. I can only infer their purpose must be to mislead and manipulate readers, thereby inculcating mental and emotional antagonism against a people and a nation, Israel. (Although having studied the history for years in some depth, I am open to correction.)

Example 1

westBank-E1

Yesterday, a friend asked if I’d heard the latest news about a large building programme by Israel in an area designated as E-1 lying east of Jerusalem, specifically to bisect the West Bank – ie. divide it in two. The friend got this notion from media reports.

Better still, why not read what someone on the ground says? Paula Stern writes ,

It’s all about a mountain that sits between Maale Adumim and Jerusalem between the city where I work and the home that I have made with my husband and children. YNET incorrectly claims that Israel building on E1 threatens to “bisect” the West Bank. I can’t help but wonder why they never took the 3 minute drive out of Jerusalem to realize that was just nonsense!

…what we have is a mountain – not a very tall one, smaller even than the ones next to it on three sides. That’s all E1 is – a mountain. It is barren, but for a road that snakes its way up to a midpoint where a large police station has been built. No one lives there – no one has. Some trees, a lot of rocks, a traffic circle at the base – that’s all.

Read this local resident’s full statement here. Look at the above map! (details here); it is ‘much ado about nothing’, according to GW Bush’s deputy assistant Elliot Abrams. Also, CIF Watch refutes media claims and thereby trashes falsehood in The Guardian.

Here’s more true-to-type ‘yellow journalism’ from a badly biased international agency – Reuters Blames Israel For Doomsday. How’s that for manipulation?

Example 2

Another friend and reader of this blog contacted me about the effects that recent rocket attacks and defence had upon someone watching the news. Therefore, he quite rightly attempted to set the record straight. Thank you Neil for permission to quote your email, viz.:

How are you? I do greatly enjoy reading your “Watch” input and updates – keep up the good work.  We are now very close to the finish line for the End Times Course here…

I am writing because I had need to respond to an e-mail that I received. I quote an element below, and thought I would let you see my response as some information came from input you have so kindly provided. I am sure you will understand that I do not wish to identify the sender or quote the text in full:

[extract:]

“I am struggling to come to terms with what is happening in Israel / Gaza. Israel’s response to the missiles from Gaza seems to be disproportionate with appalling civilian casualties. And in response we now have a bomb on a bus in Tel Aviv. I am beginning to ask myself whether under the circumstances it is morally right …. ”

[Neil’s proposed reply:]

“Hard to know where to begin – I wish you had attended the Winvin End Times study. I take a very different view to yours: the Israeli’s have suffered extreme provocation over many years, particularly in relation to rocket attacks, from Hamas controlled Gaza into Southern Israel. These rocket attacks have been going on intermittently for more than 10 years. Hamas have repeatedly expressed their unequivocal aim to destroy Israel (wipe Israel off the face of the earth, re-occupy the land that belongs to Allah, and so on). They are supported and equipped by Iran, which takes the same view and appears to be close to developing a nuclear armaments capability.

“In mid October, Hamas gunmen, bombers and rocket firers started to increase the level of their cross border attacks. Some recent examples: on 8 Nov they blew up an Israeli military position on the Gaza border by tunnelling underneath it and filling the tunnel with high explosive. On 10 Nov they fired an anti-tank missile across the border, destroying a lightly armoured vehicle. On Sunday 11 Nov, the day before Israel retaliated, they fired 187 rockets into Southern Israel. Hamas launch their rockets from the vicinity of schools, hospitals and civilian populated areas, which is really using civilians as a shield and likely to “wrong foot” any military response, very challenging in terms of propaganda and “sound bite” media coverage. Hundreds of air sorties have failed to stop missiles being fired from Gaza, and they are now being fired at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem plus the bomb in Tel Aviv that you mention. I see it as a Hamas responsibility that civilians are being killed and injured – it is as a direct result of their tactics and their avowed determination to annihilate Israel.

“Israel is surrounded by its enemies (the more so since the so-called Arab Spring) and I suspect that it feels it is imperative to show to those who might contemplate an attack, that it is willing to take robust action.

“There are more complicated geo-political considerations in respect of Ayatollah Khamenei’s ambitions for Iran, his relationship with Bashar Assad (Syria and his wish to deflect attention from his “civil war”), Mohamed Morsi (Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood) and Hizballah.

“I could go on but it would become a book! I will add that Israel has a sophisticated anti-missile missile system which manages to take out some of the incoming rockets…

“I believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people, He has an everlasting covenant with them, and Jesus (a Jew) will return to Jerusalem to take his rightful place on David’s throne. I do not believe in replacement theology. There is no doubt that the Israeli’s are far from perfect – however, the Bible tells us we should pray for their wellbeing (which is not the same as agreeing with their actions – though in this recent activity in Gaza, I do).”

“I did not develop the possible fulfilment of end times prophecy that we see in these events, probably a step too far for the enquirer at this stage!”

Palestinians could have been celebrating their state’s 65th anniversary! What happened?

A very useful summary of factual history for easy quick reference. Thank you Joel.

joelcrosenberg's avatarJoel C. Rosenberg's Blog

(Los Angeles, California) I am sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinian people. They are loved by the Lord God of the Bible, but they are forgotten or ignored by much of the world. Tragically, most of their leaders over the years have been either corrupt, misguided, or incompetent. They deserve so much better. Consider briefly the sad pattern of modern history:

* 1947— Humanly speaking, the Palestinians could have been celebrating the 65th anniversary of their state today. After all, 65 years ago today, the U.N. voted on the “Partition Plan,”giving part of British Mandated “Palestine” to the Jews to create the state of Israel, and part to the Arabs to create a Palestinian/Jordanian state. The Jewish leaders said yes to the U.N. plan, and created Israel. The Arabs said no to the U.N. plan, and went to war to destroy the Jews. They lost the war and got heartache and poverty instead.

Is BBC’s coverage of Gaza ‘yellow journalism’?

I have much better things to do than bang on about the BBC but its deliberate bias is outrageous. For example, last Monday evening I took an exception to the clear tone of bias/bigotry.

For once I quickly checked our TV’s teletext for the BBC News of 26th November and selected ‘World Reports’.  I spotted and opened ‘Israel and Hamas begin Gaza talks’, which reports as follows.:

‘Representatives of Israel and Hamas have begun indirect talks about implementation of the ceasefire deal that ended recent violence in Gaza. The negotiations are being led by Egyptian intermediaries in Cairo. Hamas is expected to press for an end to the Israeli blockade on Gaza, while Israel wants arms smuggling to cease.

‘At least 158 Palestinians and 6 Israelis were killed by the 8-day offensive which Israel said it launched to stop rocket fire from the territory.’

What I’ve underlined is what I took a great exception to – it insinuates that Israel is lying or saying that as an excuse for violence. Why not simply state the plain substantive fact by deleting ‘said it’ ??

Any reasonable person can read the BBC is making a sly, subtly derogatory comment in order to mislead.  Anyone who has been closely following ‘front-line’ news on Israel for years, as I have, well knows its south has been subject to unending bombardment – which is why Mike Evans has solicited funds for the provision of bomb shelters!

The fact is, THE VIOLENCE HAS BEEN COMING FROM THE GAZA STRIP ever since Israel vacated it. Since 2005 OVER 8,000 missiles have been fired by terrorists into Israel from Gaza…almost 1,700 in this year alone! (per IDF Rocket Attacks report)

So it was happening well before Israel decided enough was enough.

The BBC has never, ever bothered truthfully reporting upon that fact.

Hence, B.B.C. does mean ‘Bigoted Broadcasting Corporation’!

If the BBC were a professional organisation it would be aware of the truth of the matter and not have produced highly slanted news reports throughout this latest clash. Yes, it was tragic for the baby son of one of its Arabic services staff to have been killed. But I was most uneasy not only over the propriety of this report but also whether or not it was truly as claimed. Happening to be on-hand to cover this in a sensational way was a tad unprofessional – it smacked of ‘yellow journalism’ (see definition and background), as does the history of the BBC’s coverage.

I had to ask, why were the family in harm’s way? – is there truth in the Israeli claim that Hamas are guilty of war crimes by using civilians as ‘human shields’?

That particular tragedy has been investigated by BBC Watch, who conclude:

It is implausible that the BBC…is unaware of the Masharawi family’s connections to Hamas – a terror organization proscribed by the British government and many others.

The BBC’s funding public will naturally find it unacceptable on all levels that a BBC employee should engage in propagating lies and antisemitic vitriol on a television station owned and run by a terror organization. (To read in full click here and then scroll down page.)

Stop Press: Breaking News >> The Government Press Office has issued a formal warning to the BBC reporter on the above case for his use in an unrelated matter of ‘unverified and misleading material’ – see BBC’s Jon Donnison gets yellow card. [Clarification 30/11: earlier report refers to Israel’s GPO; not UK’s as may be inferred.]

I also read there are serious questions about BBC Middle-East editor Jeremy Bowen’s partiality – click that link for report (again, scroll to read).

Others who share my concerns:

In BBC leads Hamas spin…again The Commentator castigates the Corporation and urges readers to file complaints.

With his usual subtle wit, His Grace Cranmer recognises the same issue, as herein.

Controversial yet sensible Melanie Philips now posts ‘REAL News Bulletins’ on her blog, starting with Here is the (real) news. (“Here is some information about the war between Gaza and Israel that for some unaccountable reason you may have missed today in Britain’s mainstream media…”)  Melanie has also written about The real BBC scandal.

One of my readers tells of someone’s distress and faulty logic as a consequence of the  media reports. I shall, therefore, consider this pernicious effect of ‘yellow journalism’ another time…

Does B.B.C. = Bigoted Broadcasting Corporation?

Back in August I asked Is the BBC becoming a ‘Badly Biased Corporation? regarding Christianity in the Olympics. This was a week after having observed The biased BBC doesn’t know about Jerusalem; that is, its reporting and editorial staff are plainly ‘pig ignorant’ of the basic facts on that location’s especial history and status. Next, a few  days later events confirmed my remarks and I couldn’t escape concluding.:

Thus, it’s clearly evident the Badly Biased Corporation does display double standards.”

A month later fellow blogger Gillan Scott wrote Don’t believe everything you read (even if it’s by the BBC) and noted:

“In order to simplify the narrative of a news story or to present it from a certain angle our broadcasters and newspapers will not always give viewers or readers information about the bigger picture.  Most of us who follow the news know this happens, especially in the newspapers, but the problem is we don’t know what we’re not being told and that can lead to inaccurate beliefs and perceptions being reinforced even if we’re aware of biased reporting.

Even the BBC, supposedly balanced in its coverage of the news, can’t always be trusted…” [emphasis mine]

Gillan then proceeds to give three examples of unhappy experiences of contact with the BBC all in the space of one article and remarks, “Not what you’d hope for”.

Once renowned and envied worldwide for practising the highest standards in journalism the BBC is now verging on bigotry. This is a most regrettable situation and directors are now taking the consequences for allowing a long decline in falling ethical standards. So a fortnight ago Gillan reblogged a commentary by Christen Forster under the heading The BBC and the dangers of rejecting your Christian roots – regular readers may recall my earlier references to Christen, whose updated comments are found on his original post, British Institutions and the Promises of God << NB: Highly recommended reading.

Last week The Commentator observed Shocking BBC bias as EU talks get under way, remarking it would have been logical for the PM’s aides to prepare by looking at what’s appearing in the press [again, emphases are mine]. :

Across the traditional media they (PM’s aides) would have found a plurality of views reflecting the broad concerns that British people routinely express when the question of EU membership takes centre stage.

Not if they’d consulted the BBC.

If you open up the BBC website you’ll find a prominent article entitled: “Viewpoints: How experts see UK role in EU“. It all sounds very promising; just the sort of thing a political advisor would be looking for….

It’s not funny. It violates every rule of journalistic objectivity in the book. And it’s an insult to British licence fee payers who have a right to expect an even handed approach to all issues, but especially one so central to the UK’s vital national interests.

The Commentator concludes:

And there we have it. Not a single analyst or representative offering the view that Britain might do well either out of the EU altogether or with a radically reformed relationship.

We think that this is unacceptable.

A bigoted broadcasting corporation?

The Oxford Dictionary describes ‘bigoted’ as an adjective and gives this definition:

  • having or revealing an obstinate belief in the superiority of one’s own opinions and a prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others: a bigoted group of reactionaries a bigoted article.

The Merriam-Webster has ‘bigoted’ as the adjective of the noun ‘bigot’, which means:

  • a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially: one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.

To my mind it certainly appears that the BBC is verging upon, if not, exhibiting bigotry. I will show briefly in the next post how this makes its Middle-East reporting unreliable.

Has the women bishops vote triggered a bigger crisis in the CoE?

Gillan Scott could have written this helpful post especially for those who, like myself, wish to be aware of developments within the CoE but who haven’t been able to do so. He is to be commended for having dug into reviews and and published an informative overview. More importantly, in answering his own question Gillan’s sound logic gives due regard to the perilous impact of likely legislative issues and, more appropriately, he closes to suggest major changes may be on the way – which wouldn’t be surprising in view of several prophecies for this year and the near future! [Details > CooperMorris, Meyer, Stone in JanNov.] So I agree – Church of England: “Wake up and watch out!”

Blog’s Birthday

Readers may like to know yesterday marked the first birthday of this blog!

We weren’t sailing off Salcombe, for it’s not a celebratory event – but we did have an enjoyable and relaxing evening at Well Church social party. I went disguised in a black-mop of a wig, and Nina wore a headpiece – a pair of short antlers and Christmas ball ear-rings (photos censored)!

I wish to express my huge gratitude to Nina for her patience on those days when most of the time is spent researching and writing – bless you sweetheart.  My appreciation also goes to the first folk who saw fit to follow my musings: Daniel, Paul, Gillan, Roger and Tony (and for his many contributions) amongst several personal friends who took the plunge after having put up with my earlier emails.  Heartfelt thanks to everyone as you read, whether regularly dipping in here or not.

It wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago that I bothered to find out about the fuller aspects of WordPress’ site statistics and was astonished. As I write, the total number of views is just twenty short of 10,000!  Staggering, I’ve just checked again to make sure it’s right. I never thought anyone would be sufficiently interested to visit this blog – so thank you.

I was also surprised to find that one item posted in January has been a regular top-hit throughout the year and its count is head and shoulders above all others. That posting is A prophetic word for 2012 from Dr Sharon Stone, which I will update with an abridged version of my transcript of what she shared as being from the Lord for 2013. (The words concerning hurricane Sandy were only one part of the whole revelation.)

Readers who appreciate numbers and coincidences may be intrigued by this statistical fact.:

No. of published posts, including 64 uploaded pre-blog emails = 201
No. redundant notes (re. uploading), so withdrawn = 3
No. published static, or menu, pages = 30

Total = 234, but this includes 22 ‘reblogs’ from other people’s blogs

So, my personally authored total = 212

Now, this happens to be a personally significant number, as explained in Part 3 of my personal testimony. That was written last December (2011) and two months Iater my ‘hunch’ was unexpectedly confirmed by an ordinary event. Therefore, I amended that post’s concluding paragraphs as follows:

“These events started in 1989 and culminated in 1995 with its prime confirmation. Yet more was to come!  Sixteen years later upon revisiting this story for the purposes of this blog, I was surprised by a couple more insights that dropped unbidden into mind. One was tantalising: could the street number of my childhood home (212) possibly be significant in pointing toward the coming year? That is, to 2012!

“Could that notion be true?  Such musing would be confirmed in a fascinating numerical manner at this year’s first Christian conference we were to attend…”

In February 2012 we attended Arise, Frontline Generals conference featuring Patricia King, Sharon Stone and Roberts Liardon. It so happened that, upon parking at the hotel in Torquay where it was being held, I noticed the car’s mileage was showing 212 miles from home to hotel..!!

So that number has now popped up once again – honest, I kid you not!

Obama prophecy – an interesting development

May I ask, if you’ve yet to read my last post about Wendy’s Alec’s prophetic word and prayer request for President Obama, that you read it first before continuing below?

Usually, I don’t blog during our 3-day weekend but Saturday was an exception. Whilst downloading Friday night’s reports from Washington and Israel I noticed Wendy Alec’s email of late Thursday and realised it warranted immediate wider dissemination.

BUT after having posted it and circulated to intercessors I was about to close down for the weekend and was ‘nudged’ to first check the latest news. THUS, I spotted this rather astonishing breaking news:

Early Saturday, Nov. 17, US President Obama, in a phone conversation with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, reiterated his support for Israel’s right to defend itself.  He also spoke to Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and urged him to persuade Hamas to accept Israel’s terms for a ceasefire.
So what happened to turn the notoriously prickly relations between President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu into harmonious cooperation – defying dire predictions by Israeli politicians and media that the second Obama term heralded still more jarring discord?  <my emphasis>

(Debka Exclusive Analysis: Israel will strike Gaza so long as Khameini nixes talks with Obama Saturday 17th Nov 2012.)

Maybe the real answer is that intercessors responded to the urgent prayer call and the Lord acted, as promised!  Did you read Wendy’s prayer request and notice this in the  promises?.:

“For there shall begin a healing of rifts says the Lord

“A healing of rifts

“A healing of rifts between the Republicans and the Democrats

“A healing of rifts that shall extend even from the Congress to Israel

For there shall even be a healing of rifts between President Barack Obama and President Benjamin Netanyahu….” <my emphasis>

Also, that detailed Debka report is well worth a careful perusal too!

An urgent prophetic word / prayer request for President Obama

This is perhaps fitting for this blog’s 200th post…Wendy Alec wrote the following in an email I received on Thursday.:

“This is a short note from me to share what I’ve sense the Father put so strongly on my
heart concerning the recent elections in America. I have sensed this since the night of our live broadcast from Washington DC on election night, 2008.

“I sense that the Lord has been very grieved by the flow of criticism by the Church concerning Barack Obama these past four years. Instead of fervent prayers for the President of the United States, many times it has been criticism instead that has risen  to His throne.

“In fact beloved, I sensed that the Father said that our words as Christians have in fact somewhat imprisoned President Obama….”

Amen, and thank you for this rebuke Lord.

UPDATE Mar 2015: Obama prophecy fulfilled? Netanyahu speech to Congress.

Dr Sharon Stone: Prophetic Word on Hurricane Sandy

A National Prayer Evening was held on 3rd November by Christian International Europe in Windsor, Royal Berkshire. Daytime sessions included prophetic training and several prophetical voices shared what they believe God is saying for 2013.

The first to speak on what the Lord is saying at this time was Dr Sharon Stone, who opened with this important caveat:

“I do not believe that when I bring forth a prophetic word it’s ‘the beginning’ or ‘the end’ of what The Spirit of God is saying; it’s just my part that God has given me at that time.

I also believe there are different types of prophetic gifting, and I realise that about myself. I am not called to deny the darkness or even the judgement, or the shaking, that is going on in the earth, but the type of prophet that I am is that I am called to be a voice of hope and solution in the midst of the darkness and in the midst of the shaking…it is not a denying of the one or the other…” (my emphasis)

In view of my discussion with Sharon earlier in the year about the special locality possibly being a ‘link’ between heaven and earth, I was interested to learn that she and husband Greg had just moved into Windsor.  They didn’t have phones other than a mobile until the previous day, and the TV system in the new  house needed a specialist technician to hook up and demonstrate its use. So they weren’t able to keep up with the latest world news except on the internet, and this is what Sharon shared about  ‘superstorm’ Sandy.:

“I don’t want to talk about the hurricane only hitting New York – it hit the Caribbean, it hit New Jersey, it hit New York, it went on up into Canada. There were deaths everywhere and so we don’t downsize any of that. In matter of fact, its eye hit New Jersey but the greatest amount of damage was done in New York and I think the reason people put the emphasis on that is simply because that’s the financial district, that has the Statue of Liberty, a place of identity for the nation, a place of rule in the nation. And so that’s why I believe people’s focus is upon there, even though that’s not the only place that it touched…

“I only got to see it once in a while…and one time the Lord said,

“The hurricane Sandy is a punctuation.”

“…and so when I would see it, one time it would look like a full stop with the eye in the middle…another time with it swirling it would look like the question mark, with the dot, and when I’d see it another time it was elongated and it looked like the exclamation mark with the dot on the bottom!

“And the Lord kept saying that this hurricane and these winds are ‘a punctuation’ – not  just in the US but a punctuation in the world. Now a type of punctuation means that it draws the line, and it brings a separation and there is an alteration after that, and this is what the Lord said; He says,

“These are re-arranging winds and they’re changing the course of nations.”

“…This is a “re-arranging winds and a changing of the course of nations” and the Lord spoke this, and forgive me as I’m going to read some of this because I want to get the words right. The Lord said:

“The Old World’s time has cycled around again to become a New World (we’re part of that Old World, here in Europe) to rewrite history, no longer a Constantine conversion that advances religion without Christ. Hidden winds of change have been developing on the inside of My people and they are now blowing change into the world. The western New World, particularly the USA, will enter accelerated crisis-shaking to hasten their journey to learn that I am their true resource and I am their defender. The USA has been a champion of freedom for much of the oppressed world, but you cannot represent freedom without representing Me, Jesus, Who is the provider and Who can bring sustainable protection to the nation.

“The Lord says,

“Parts of these winds that are blowing, part of these winds that are bringing a re-arranging, are blowing away what has confused nations of their identity.

“We’re not the only nation that has been in an identity crisis. I believe that many of our nations have had skewed identity and the Lord is saying this; He says,

“I will bring you out of what you have designed by your own thinking and by your own hands – listen to that! – that I may redesign it by My thoughts and My plans.”

Could a dream confirm God’s action plan?

I’m amazed by a vivid dream experienced by someone whose blog I follow. So I must submit why I regard his dream as a valid message from the Lord.:

September was a remarkable month and I’d intended covering the unusual events of its first and last day under the ‘Back to School’ series of posts, but events proved too busy. NOW, in Preparing for battle Tony Puccio recounts a dream that seems to relate directly to my posting on Insights into God’s action plan.  Insight 2 therein refers to an excellent sermon during the 30th Sept Sunday morning service in Church Of His Presence, USA.

As an anointed prophet, Jan Painter admonished and exhorted the congregation to pick up the spiritual weapon they’ve allowed to fall into disuse. I didn’t state what the weapon was but left it for any interested reader to watch the video – it is the sword of the Spirit. This is the Word of God, the holy scriptures, because when wielded it deals decisively with the ungodly, whether of human origin or not.  Its effectiveness is proven in practice, and it can be not only the logos, or written word, but also the rhema, or prophetic ‘now’ word, as well as the language of spiritual tongues. (It was this last to which Jan referred as the weapon that had fallen into disuse.)

My first extraordinary encounter with the sword of the Spirit had been during training in prayer ministry. Inwardly, I heard “1Sam 5” during a ministry session where a lady was prowling around on all fours like a panther. Not knowing what that was about I found the chapter’s first five verses tell how The Ark of the Covenant trashed the idol of a pagan temple. As soon as I read the verses out aloud the lady stopped dead in her tracks and gaped at a vision right in front of her – she was actually seeing the same happening to a Satanic temple’s altar where child sacrifices had been performed!  She was soon freed from bondage in Jesus’ name – praise Him!

Now, what I was saving for another post but didn’t get chance to write about (maybe so as not to influence Tony?) is the following.:

Earlier on that same Sunday morning, 30th Sept, here in the UK we’d attended church and received a new diary sheet for the next month, October.  It bore the illustration you see heading today’s post!

Therefore, dear reader, you may now understand why we were excited later that after-noon to hear Jan specifically stress the importance of the sword as a spiritual weapon – and now by Tony’s dream!  And there’s much more, lots more, to learn in all this…

It is written:

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV)

Amen.

The Biblical significance of hurricane Sandy

Some dubbed it ‘Frankenstorm’, striking the US north-eastern seaboard over Halloween – ‘trick or treat’, this tempest was well beyond a joke!

Some recalled Jesus’ prophetic description of the days preceding His promised return,

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man…people knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away…” (see Matt 24, espec vv 37-42; Luke 17)

Personally, I perceive a connection with and a lesson from George Washington’s battles against we Brits!   Also, it was astonishing to see the whole storm superimposed by the BBC to show it would cover ALL western Europe, from northern Norway to the Straits of Gibraltar at Spain’s southern tip!  (This report doesn’t show the same full image.)

So there’s many opinions about the category 1 hurricane Sandy. The following comments are not to be construed as demeaning in any way the suffering and tragedy it caused. My intention is to awaken your consideration of the possibility of a profound significance to this superstorm. We’ll cover a known reliable source’s case for Sandy’s Biblical significance, one based on solid, factual data. But beforehand, kindly bear with my short personal perspective.:

Throughout Saturday night southern England was lashed by torrential rains, even snow fell in the southwest.  Rain had stopped by the time we arrived at church and a leader greeted me in the car park with, “At least it’s not as bad as America”.  I mentioned the coincidence of Sandy happening on the 21st anniversary of the ‘perfect storm’, which had the distinction of an ‘unusual retrograde motion’ in going east to west to strike the northeastern USA.

We parted and, as I approached the entrance, another chap met me and straight away said that Sandy is connected with Israel. “I know”, replied I.

How extraordinary. Such conversations wouldn’t have arisen in other churches we’d attended or regularly visited!  And here the previous week, an older lady and a young man independently spoke to me about John McTernan’s writings. I’ve never before met anyone familiar with his work!  Could this indicate a growing awareness in Christians to the Biblical implications of political activities?

Readers may recall my occasional references to John’s blog (see tag) and perhaps followed the links. Last week I saw this image on his posting for 28th Oct.  Similar ones appeared daily on World Watch and, clicking on one, I got the meteorologist at US’ Weather Channel talking over the chart. I noted his remark that this low category hurricane is peculiar in its  “unique angle” – it will turn and head towards the coast!  Unlike a normal hurricane that heads out into mid-Atlantic, Sandy turned westward to strike the nation’s capital and major cities!

That fact plus the fact it happened on the 21st anniversary of the ‘perfect storm’ should make any thinking person start to think about a possible connection – could this have been on purpose, or by ‘design’?  Dullards will attribute it solely to weather or climate.  John is of the opinion only reprobate minds refuse to consider and accept the fact that  unremitting iniquity and unrighteousness warrants any rebuke from the Creator.

John McTernan[Note: I started drafting this on Monday 4th during a busy week and the next day, ‘Guy Fawkes Day’, I espied John’s daily digest has a similar title and is on the same lines as this post. His thesis is along the lines of ‘As in the days of Lot’, and itemises various headlines that support his argument. His excellent teaching on The Ordinances of the Amorites is highly recommended – see link below.]

A Case for Sandy’s Biblical Significance

You may recall earlier articles of mine on the cyclical nature of events, starting with White House correspondent William Koenig’s in-depth investigation into the work of financial markets technical analyst Eric Hadik (see Points to Ponder).

In view of this knowledge, William accurately forecast terrorist troubles for this 11th Sept simply on the grounds of its being the 11th anniversary of the Twin Towers attack (see 11 year cycle proves itself again).  Now, mathematically number 21 is 3 x 7, both of which, and multiples thereof, occur frequently and are of significance in the Bible. For example, 7 days of creation, Jesus’ return to life on 3rd day of death, the Trinity…etc.

Hence, William’s ideas about superstorm Sandy occurring on the 21st anniversary of the Perfect Storm warrant serious consideration. Also, to his above-stated track record we should add the sound credentials of carefully logged observations over many years.

William has thereby documented and published the close correlations between the most catastrophic weather and America’s treatment of Israel. Learn more about his claims from a recent interview with Drew Zahn by reading Could ‘Frankenstorm’ Be A Sign From God?

Thus, his main premis is:

“When we put pressure on Israel to divide their land, we have enormous, record-setting events, often within 24 hours,” Koenig told WND. “Hurricane Katrina, 9/11 – we have experienced over 90 record-setting, all-time events as we have acted against Israel. And the greater the pressure on Israel to ‘cooperate,’ the greater the catastrophe….

“From a biblical perspective, the land isn’t to be divided, parceled out or negotiated away … period,” Koenig said. “That’s the land God gave to Israel. People say they want peace,” he continued, “but it all comes down to this: No earthly leader has the right to partition Israel, because that was God’s gift to Abraham and his descendants. <emphasis RB>

How say you, my reader? Isn’t it time for American and world leaders to consider this information and take William’s, and John’s, claims seriously?  After all, many have been given their OWN copy of William’s book Eye to Eye!

More than 6 million so-called ‘evangelicals’ voted for Obama. Why?

Joel provides a useful analysis of the US election results with interesting observations. No 6 doesn’t surprise me but is nevertheless shameful regarding non-existent Biblical convictions in voters. Regretfully, it’s confirmed by comments about the elections from some UK believers who seem somewhat clueless about the spiritual dynamics.
Last Sunday, Maryland’s Rev Harry Jackson stressed, “Vote Vertical Values!” But USA now continues with a man who professed that his decision on gay-marriage was based upon his family’s discussion, NOT upon prayer and submission to his Saviour. Hence, my reservations about his personal faith – we can but pray for a Damascene revelation and obedience to the Living Lord God Almighty. Amen

[CORRECTED VERSION: In the first version of this column, I incorrectly reported a figure of 25 million evangelicals voting for Obama in 2012. The actual number, as now noted below, is about 6.4 million. Please forgive my error.]

As the smoke clears from the wreckage of the Romney defeat on Tuesday, some intriguing yet disturbing facts are coming to light.

* Fewer people overall voted in 2012 (about 117 million) compared to 2008 (about 125 million).

* President Obama received some 6.6 million fewer votes  in 2012 than he did in 2008 (60,217,329 in 2012 votes compared to 66,882,230 votes in 2008).

* One would think that such a dynamic would have helped Romney win — clearly it did not.

* Incredibly, Governor Romney received nearly 1 million fewer votes in 2012 than Sen. John McCain received in 2008. (In 2008, McCain won 58,343,671 votes. In 2012, Romney…

Good news from Egypt!

Intriguing, especially as I’ve little time at present to blog – I keep getting ‘server error’ when trying to get an update via Google from Open Doors USA on the following. Christian Post reported on a massive prayer gathering in Egypt and quoted an anonymous source as saying:

“There is no doubt that God is moving in Egypt and showing Himself in mighty  ways to many of His children, and to many who are seeking to know Him,” the  contact said. “The hunger to know about Jesus and to get to know more about the  Christian faith is phenomenal…

“…we Christians of Egypt are realizing more and more every day that God is  visiting our country with a powerful divine presence, and that the things He is  going to do in our country are beyond imagination. This is what we pray for and  this is what we are waiting in faith to see happening.”

Read full report here as well as this from Open Doors about 10,000 youngsters who met earlier in October. Also, President Obama has congratulated Egyptian Christians on the election of a new Coptic Pope. This news is a welcome follow-up to last November’s encouraging news, as covered here.

Good news indeed…

If I were an American citizen…

…deciding how to vote in next week’s presidential election, I’d be extremely concerned over the issue of ‘Benghazi-gate’.

My brief has meant a weather eye has been kept on major international matters not only in the UK but also in the USA.  Most of my opinion comes from a Biblical viewpoint but I’ve had reasons to question Barack Obama’s motives from the outset of his presidency as evidenced, for example, in his infamous Cairo speech (here and here).  Although I’ve revisited and reassessed these during online discussion, subsequent events serve only to confirm my original viewpoint and strong reservations.

I have no political axe to grind. It’s not my place to make personal political opinion. We Brits usually keep religion out of politics and are cynical about politicians. Many of them do serve their communities conscientiously and effectively, yet a percentage of those in government are too easily ‘economical with truth’.

Even so, I was alarmed to note that in the debates Obama declared his ignorance of the circumstances surrounding his ambassador’s murder. Also, Secretary of State Clinton connected it directly to the fallout from that offensive video about Mohammed!  To a non-resident of the States watching from the far side of the ‘pond’, however, they are surely incorrect. How on earth POTUS, and dude VP, could not have been informed of these grave event stretches one’s imagination so far it snaps!  At best, these US ‘leaders’ exhibited gross incompetence or, at worst, are downright disingenuous. (I’ll save you the many references I could quote; am assuming my American friends are familiar with all this.)

Regular readers will recall my posts about the widespread Islamist attacks on 9/11 and that I quoted leading analysts’ immediate conclusions that the Benghazi attack was not a result of the video but of a fully planned military operation (ie. Carolyn Glick, Raymond Ibrahim and London’s Quillam Foundation; see 3rd and 4th paras here).  Just how can the USA’s top leaders feign ignorance??

[Update 5/11: former Muslim Brotherhood member now a peace activist Walid Shoebat is keeping close tabs and publishing a plethora of developments on his website.]

I’ve just finished catching up with the latest news on ‘Benghazi-gate’ and provide some informative links in case you wish to check it out:

Frank Gaffney’s highly critical report, The Real Reason Behind ‘Benghazi-gate.

David Greenfield’s well-balanced in-depth discussion on Benghazi’s Tough Questions.

Clare Lopez’ comprehensive security analysis, Benghazi: The Set-up and the Cover-up.

Her penultimate paragraph caught my attention:

How could he (CIA Diretor Petraeus) or any of those present when this momentous decision was made not have tried to make every effort imaginable to defend American territory and save American lives? House Government Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa believes President Obama had a political motive for rejecting Ambassador Stevens’ security requests because he wanted to show that conditions in Libya were improving, possibly to justify U.S. intervention in the Libyan revolution or even help pave the way for oil company investment. <emphasis mine>

Now the last points take us back to my comments at the start of the Libyan episode, in particular about western interest in oil wells!  (See prayer request based upon a ‘dream revelation’ about Libya and my covering comments here). Maybe in my hazy mention of oil I was unwittingly tapping into a truth?

Am I right to be concerned? What do you think?

Transcript of prophetical song for Britain and Europe

In The Bridegroom Cometh video clip Julie Meyer begins to sing, to the accompaniment of a crescendo of cheering from the congregation:

“Even today…I can see the Bridegroom Jesus –

And He’s got His eyes on Europe – He’s got His eyes on Europe, Europe, Europe.

“Even this morning – I can see the Bridegroom – dancing, dancing –

He’s making His plans, He’s making His plans, He’s making His plans –

His eyes are on Europe – His eyes are on Europe –

He’s going to dance all over the land –

He’s going to set the captives free – He’s going to set the captives free – He’s going to set the captives free…free.

“And it’s going to start in Britain –

The Lord says, “Keep your eyes on Britain –

Keep your eyes on Britain – Britain – Britain – Britain” .

There’s something greater – there’s something greater coming to Great Britain,

There’s something greater…than John Wesley – there’s something greater –

God, God, God’s the bridegroom – He’s going to dance all over the land –

He’s going to start in Britain –  and that’s where John Wesley started –

Oh, you’re part of the great, great storyline – Britain –

And it’s not over – it’s getting bigger – it’s bigger, it’s bigger, it’s bigger.”

“You’re NOT left out Europe – you’re not left out Europe –

I’ll make you a sign – and a wonder – a wonder – and a sign

For the nations are Mine – for Europe is Mine – for the nations are Mine – are Mine –

But keep your eyes on Britain – keep your eyes on Britain –

It’s going to start…in Britain – like a wildfire! –

like a wildfire! – like a wildfire! – like a wildfire! –

It’s unstoppable! – it’s unstoppable! –

because I’m God – and I choose you!”

Hallelujah.”

A short piccolo solo follows and we return to Julie, “We just declare that over you this morning, Britain and Europe, we prophesy…” and vocalists also pick up the refrain:

“BEHOLD! The Bridegroom COMETH”

We prophesy over you Europe, we prophesy:

“Behold – The Bridegroom cometh!”

We prophesy over Europe:

“Behold – The Bridegroom cometh!

I’m arising – I’m arising – I’m arising!

Behold – The Bridegroom cometh!”

It’s not just a song – it’s a prophecy – it’s going out, it’s going out this morning:

“Behold – The Bridegroom cometh!

Britain, I’m coming!

Europe, I’m coming!

Behold – The Bridegroom cometh!…”

Dear reader, you too may join in here…

Colours of God

Reblogged from The Lady Journal – superb shot with poem by Samantha Hardcastle, who describes herself as “A lady keeping it classy, while crazy for Christ”. Psalm 19.1:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”

In a moment’s breath, I taste the color of life

I taste it in beauty, I taste it in strife

In the blink of an eye, I feel the color of sorrow

I feel it in my chest, I’ll feel it tomorrow

In the swiftness of a run, I hear the color of victory

I hear it in the wind, I hear it in His story

In the sweetness of grace, I smell the color of love

I smell it in the air, I smell it from above

In a gaze toward the universe, I see the colors of God

I see it in the stars, I see it in Heaven’s applaud

Back to school / college / uni – part 2

The Why and Wherefore

When were you last with anyone not speaking English?  Maybe whilst on holiday where the national tongue is completely unfamiliar to you?  Could you understand what people were saying or did you try to converse?  In such situations have you ever heard a word or phrase suddenly pop up in English?  I find that especially amusing 🙂  Occasionally I’ll hear Polish or other Eastern European folk in the street chatting to one another and its weird when they mention a well-known brand-name or a locality around here.

Whenever that happens the English starkly stands out and catches one’s attention. So you may imagine what it’s like being in a gathering where the leader is speaking in an unintelligible language. Everyone else but you knows what’s being said and can follow naturally. But you’re left puzzled and reliant upon gestures and other indicators to get a gist of what may or may not be said.

What’s that got to do with my topic? Is it all about a language school?

No. But you could guess what it was like for me as a boy when my English mother took me to a place where everyone was speaking what was not only ‘double-dutch’ but also a dead language – one that no-one spoke in normal life anywhere!  It was from ancient Rome and used in mother’s local Catholic church during Sunday mass, or holy service.

Apart from when the priest would address the congregation on some grown-up stuff, the whole ritual was unintelligible to me, a young boy.  And in those days the celebrant had his back towards the people. Growing old enough to pay attention, with mother’s help, I heard odd snippets in English I could easily understand: the readings from the Gospels and Epistles.  Thus was sown an appreciation of the story of Jesus Christ, for I didn’t attend Sunday school.

I can recall thinking from these accounts it must have been fascinating to have seen the miracles, and I wondered what it would have been like to watch Jesus in action, even to hear Him or to eavesdrop whilst He was teaching His disciples, as though in His private and personal school. If only I could go back in time…

So let me bring you forward in time – by half a century! – to when I came across the blog item referred to in part 1. I was ‘nudged’ to catch up with Stewart’s blog and discovered  his School of Jesus. It evoked all those memories and supernaturally spoke into them.  Maybe it was the way Stewart says “Let’s go to school” and in unfolding the original Greek introduced us to our teacher, the one who will be not only our personal mentor, or rabbi even, but also headmaster and dean or vice-chancellor of this special school and who is also a lord and king; The King of Kings.

Before explaining about September 2012, first let me introduce you to Teacher:
