John Kilpatrick: Significance of Trump’s Jerusalem ‘tipping-point’ – fulfills Alabama prophecy

A week today 6th December, President Trump declared the United States of America’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and decision to relocate US Embassy from Tel Aviv. The next day John Kilpatrick, senior pastor Church of His Presence in Daphne, Alabama, recorded his thoughts about it being a significant spiritual tipping point setting many things in motion – and set hell off – because it aligns the nation and its president with the Almighty.

He had the news in mind when welcoming the congregation at CHP’s Sunday’s morning service,

“Somebody made the statement here a few years ago it would be a cold day in H-e-l-l if the embassy was ever moved to Jerusalem –  well not only was it a cold day in Alabama but it snowed in Alabama! God has a sense of humor – amen!“

The church is located on the eastern side of Mobile Bay (named by Spanish ‘Bay of Holy Spirit’: see Bay of Holy Spirit Revival) on Gulf of Mexico’s northern coast with its subtropical climate.  So we could say that quip proved to have a prophetic edge!

Across the Bay, Saturday morning’s local news had asked How weird is snow in Mobile? Well Friday night’s snow set a record (1 inch on ground) and reported,

‘The old record was only a trace amount of snow on December 8, 1942. Local NWS records date back to 1842.

‘(Meterologist) says preliminary numbers were tallied late Friday night, but recorded snowfall is being measured throughout the state. Most counties who got snow yesterday are hovering around two inches, at the most. But, one report in Gilbertown in Choctaw County, points toward an alleged outlier of five inches…Numbers aside, Alabamians across the state took to social media to share their collective glee regarding the uncommon Southern snowfall…’

WORD REGARDING THERESA MAY AND BREXIT

‘As I was praying for our government, the Lord began to speak to me. What the Lord showed me was that Mrs May will step down from leadership as soon as she manages to secure a deal and it is signed. (This is the reason she was appointed by God, to secure a Brexit deal). I sense the outcome and its follow-up and implications will be handed over to other government ministers. I sense she will step down because of all the pressure, stress and strain that she has been under; however, she will still be in a governmental position, doing good for the nation.

‘I asked the Lord who would come into power next – what government? He said that it would be another joint government leadership, but that it would be balanced (ie. no need to worry). I just sense we need to pray for her more, and that whatever happens next will be a Godly move. We need Him to be governing and ruling in our nation. We need the next leader and government to be by his hand and not purely by man’s, so that our nation is led by Him.’

A JOURNALIST’S TAKE ON PM MAY

In that regard, the Director of the Social Market Foundation and The Telegraph’s former executive political editor James Kirkup offers an astute observation on Theresa May:

“Anyone paying close attention to the election result or Mrs May’s words since would have picked up her signals about her real intentions.”

What he was writing on the day Ruth Grigg prayed as above got published later online (‘Theresa May’s punchbag act…’), and in Saturday’s broadsheet as The lady’s not of turning…so is this the package May planned to deliver all along? Kirkup writes,

‘…The Brexit deal set out in Brussels today is testament to Mrs May’s extraordinary toughness, an ability and willingness to endure public abuse, collegiate acrimony and private despair, yet not give up. Her predecessor may have run away from the scale of the Brexit challenge he gave Britain, but Mrs May has stayed at her post.

‘Whatever you think of the deal, whatever questions it leaves unanswered and whatever trouble it stores up for the future, remember this: many of those now passing learned comments on it were six months ago convinced that Mrs May would not be in office by now.

‘Her willingness to endure pain and ability to survive apparently mortal wounds – including self-inflicted ones – are the foundations of this deal.

‘The greatest of those wounds, the botched election, is perhaps key. For when Mrs May lost her Commons majority, she made compromises on Brexit inevitable, since she (or any other Tory PM) would lack the votes – and authority – to drive through the hardest form of exit sought by purist Leavers.

‘Looking back, it is hard not to wonder whether, within hours of the June 8 disaster, she had already calculated that only by making the subsequent negotiating process look unendurably hard might she able to placate those purists during the inevitable climb-downs to come…’

Fulfilled Prophecy #24 – Brexit humiliation for Theresa May

Yesterday’s humiliation for Prime Minister Theresa May after going to Brussels lines up with what Emma Stark recently heard from the Lord after having seen the deep disarray in satan’s camp (emphases added):

‘And then the Lord started to speak to me about Brexit, in the middle of all of this. And the Lord said this: “You” (you collectively, like, all of us – family) “have prayed for a revival and awakening and reformation in the UK for so long.” And the Lord says, “I have heard the prayers for revival and awakening and reformation.” And the Lord said, “I couldn’t come as close as I wanted to, to the UK, because I had to resist her because she was proud.”

‘And many of us know that, actually, if we were scoring the UK in a pride rating, we would probably score it quite high. And we know from the Word of God that God resists the proud, and we know from the word of God that Leviathan (go and read Job chapter 41 if you want and 42, if you want to read about Leviathan), Leviathan is the strongman demon over pride in the earth.

‘And I heard God say this: “I will allow a bad deal for the UK in BREXIT, and it will bring a humbleness to the nation. And in the humbleness it will be an answer to your prayers, because it will break Leviathan off you. And in the breaking of Leviathan”, the Lord says, “I will rush towards you with revival and awakening that you have prayed for.” And so the Lord says, “Do not fear the bad deal, for I am in it, and I am disconnecting you to reconnect you.” And the Lord says that there will be a move of God on the back of the humbleness that is going to come to the UK…’

(The Lord then went on to encourage our prayers for a revival of the holy, reverential fear of God.)

Readers may recall my closely monitoring last year’s Referendum and recording almost two dozen prophetic words in the previous ten years in favour of the Brexit outcome – as summarised in EU & ‘Brexit’ hub. Therefore, I was surprised with this latest and needed to weigh what may be a turn-around with the previous; especially in view of the intense  opposition to our leaving the EU and then learning the effect of intercessors’ prayers upon the devil’s domain.

But it is not a change of heart on the Lord’s part for, unlike the meccan god, He doesn’t abrogate His principles. It’s understandable as an operational practicality in view of all the bickering and deep divisions across our nation.

Note that the Lord is bringing about His word on this issue through the only Christian- based political party in the UK: the Democratic Unionist Party, Northern Ireland (DUP) – see Are Bible-believing Christians The New Heretics?

After this year’s humiliating snap election Theresa May is reliant upon them to support the government’s very slim Parliamentary majority.

This week the DUP’s leader Arlene Foster dealt Mrs May a serious blow as a result of our PM’s lack of proper consultation over the highly sensitive and controversial issue of how trade between Ulster and the Irish Republic is to be conducted after Brexit.

‘Brexiteers’ in Cabinet accused the PM of trying to ‘bounce’ the Cabinet into agreeing a ‘regulatory alignment’ between Ulster and Eire (which is in the EU), thus requiring Ulster to be treated differently to the rest of UK because of its land border with the Republic

Upon hearing the Irish PM claim such an alignment would be part of the deal Mrs May was to agree with the EU’s President of the European Commission in Brussels, Arlene Foster more or less said, “No way!”. It came as a “big shock” to the DUP” (BBC News) and so Mrs May’s discussions collapsed.

Tory ‘Brexiteers’ such as a possible PM-in-waiting Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, are therefore  now grateful to and those in Cabinet are very supportive of the DUP, for whom several days are now needed to consider the proposed agreement for Brexit.

Philip Johnston writes the PM’s bespoke Brexit deal is now undeliverable and observes:

‘International agreements are not written by the Prime Minister on the back of an envelope in a darkened room. There are processes, committees, drafts, discussions, rewritings, amendments and final copies to be signed off. How is it possible that the very party that would be most opposed to what was being suggested – and which is propping up Mrs May in parliament to boot – was not squared beforehand? It is incompetence of epic proportions. What could have been a great national story is turning into an indignity that no leader should countenance.’ (Emphasis added)

Perhaps if our churchgoer Prime Minister (now ex-Christian?) had taken a firm stand on the sanctity of marriage here and not encouraged Australia’s government to introduce SSM, the Lord would have stood by her and given her the necessary wisdom to achieve a satisfactory deal with the EU?

Nevertheless, this turmoil clearly confirms what the Lord told Emma is rapidly coming to fruition – and He’s using a Bible-based political party to bring it about!

The Fear of the Lord #1 – Sword of the Spirit’s Separation Time

Further to my thoughts and prayers over the grave issue of the censorship Petition and the Lord’s desiring us to ask for “the revival of the holy, reverential fear of God”, as well as my having experienced that as a foretaste of His return, we consider a few prophetic words of direct relevance to this vital topic; the first of which was received when I posted Emma Stark’s video on deep disarray in the devil’s domain.:

THE DOUBLE-EDGED TIP OF THE SWORD – A TIME OF SEPARATION

‘A few weeks ago during our regular prayer meeting on a Tuesday night at Hastings 24-7 Prayer, I saw (with my spiritual eyes) the tip of a double-edged sword, and it was moving forward slowly, very sharp, cutting and separating as it moved. The scripture that came to mind was Hebrews 4:12 – ‘For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.’

‘This is a very critical point in time where God, by the power of His living and active Spirit-Word which proceeds from His mouth (and which we are to echo!), is beginning to cut through the body of Christ, making a separation between those believers that are soul-led, and those that are Spirit-led.

‘I felt that the two edges of the tip of the sword represented the true ministry of the apostolic and prophetic, and that the prophetic was twinned with the pure, undiluted truth of God, and the apostolic was twinned with the love of God to implement the prophetic expression of the desire of God for His people, Jesus’ bride-to-be.

‘As this word stayed with me over the last weeks and as I kept pondering it, I saw that the sword tip also symbolised the alpha, and the handle of the sword the omega of God, and that the moving-forward and completion of this process of separation through His (S)word would accomplish from beginning to end the full revealing of His will and nature in the earth.

‘As our society is rocked by many political issues, and as and our standards and values are polluted more and more by the influx of immorality, the calling into question of the very nature and identity of humanity in the image of God (sexual expression without borders, LGBT, abortion, euthanasia) along with the uprooting of the eternal principles of the Word of God, the Body of Christ is heavily influenced by this move, and many individual Christians, church groups and even whole denominations are pulled into darkness.

‘This is an urgent call from the Lord to His people to make a choice now as His double-edged (S)word moves forward. The fence is no longer a safe place. Lukewarmness will no longer be comfortable or sustainable. Those who choose to remain in the grey zone will be cut off, separated from the holy Kingdom of Light. The Lord is not doing this out of anger but out of the purity of His love: “He sent out his word and healed them, he rescued them from the grave.” Psalm 107:20. This process is meant to completely separate us from everything that is death so we can be fully filled with His eternal life!

‘As this process continues, let us search ourselves and pray for ourselves first, so God will find us as people who are led by His Spirit, faithful to His Word, fully standing in His Light. We are not to point fingers at other Christians or churches or denominations in this process as the Lord begins with us first! But let us also pray for the body of Christ, for people to choose well at this critical time, and not to be drawn into darkness with the rest of the world.

‘For those who do not want to choose, the relentless pull of darkness will be too strong to resist; they will not have the Holy Spirit-infused power to stand as they have depended on their soulish desires and prompts for too long. May God have great mercy on those who are undecided as the time to choose is becoming very short now.

  • Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
  • Ezekiel 34:17 “As for you, My flock,” thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats.”
  • Matthew 13:49 “So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous…”
  • James 4:4 ‘You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.’
  • Romans 8:7 ‘…because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s Law, nor can it do so.’
  • 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Come out from them and be separate”, says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
  • Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
  • Romans 13:12 ‘The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.’
  • Isaiah 35:8 ‘And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.’
  • 1 Peter 1:16 ‘For it is written, You must be holy, because I am holy.’
  • Romans 8:14 ‘For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.’
  • 2 Corinthians 11:2 ‘For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband–Christ.’

Wake up Welby! Reform may be on the way…

Oh that the angelic ‘Reformer’ referred to in the previous post would quickly come and strike some spiritual sense into the Church of England’s entire leadership!

As expected, Dr Adrian Hilton, known under the pseudonym of 16th Century reformer ‘Archbishop Cranmer’, responds to the weekend television’s Robert Peston interview in Welby: “I really, genuinely do not understand” Christian support for Trump.:

‘The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was interviewed by Robert Peston on Sunday. He spoke about the British economic model, economic justice, investment, skills, apprenticeships, automation, robotics, AI, equality for all, food-banks, housing, Brexit, Northern Ireland, trade, unionist identity, the Good Friday Agreement, public enemies, and media headlines which stir up hate and division.

‘Before you kick him, he also spoke about Jesus’s command to care for and love the poor, the judgment of the Old Testament prophets, the need to build communities by loving one another, and the imperative of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.

‘So far, so good.

‘Then Peston mused about the “amazing support” which Donald Trump has from Christians in America. “Do you understand why fundamentalist Christians in America are so supportive of Donald Trump?” he asked the beaming Archbishop.

‘Rabbit…. headlights…

“There’s two things going through my mind,” Welby cogitated. “Do I say what I think, or do I say what I should say? And I’m going to say what I think.”

‘Marvellous, thought the ‘Peston on Sunday’ producers, as they contemplated the imminent Twitter storm and media furore.

‘Marvellous, thought Christians everywhere: the transparency, integrity, honesty of the man. What a breath of fresh air.

‘And then it comes: “No, I don’t understand it. I really, genuinely, do not understand where that is coming from,” said the Archbishop, speaking exactly as he thought.

‘There was a bit of rambling before Peston reprised: “But the fundamental point is that you don’t understand why the fundamentalist Christians in America seem to regard him as being the answer.”

‘The Archbishop raised his hands, more in bemusement than blessing. “No,” he said, “But then… I mean, you look… you look at the situation… maybe they felt… I don’t know… I just have… I don’t understand it, is the simple answer.”

‘But the odd thing is he went on to provide an answer in the very minute following. Peston asked the Archbishop: “How important is truth in politics?”

My deep desire is to avoid divisiveness and so, for other than indirect references in my coverage of the apostasy of the Anglican Synod last July, I’ve refrained from blogging about this brother-in-Christ’s personal frailties. Secular and Christian media have covered those all-too-spectacular issues of Welby’s acceptance of SSM as well as remarks on transgender issues in schoolchildren – not to mention the consequential surrender to parental censorship of Christian teaching in C of E schools (as here)!!

However, in his ignorance of a matter important to Christians over ‘the Pond’, some of whom are regular readers this blog, and because of my frequent coverage of our spiritual linkage then it’s incumbent on me to comment on this issue. So, by way of informing readers of ‘Cranmer’ I submitted this on Justin Welby’s bewilderment over American Christians and president Trump.

‘DOH!’ – my reaction to his comment; or maybe that should have been Justin’s response rather than utter befuddlement! It wasn’t surprising in view of his inability under interrogation to refer to basic Biblical teaching on sexuality, or on childhood gender confusion.

‘I’m not standing in judgement of either brother-in-Christ – one a British AofC, the other an American ‘sanctification-work in progress’ but appointed by God for ‘such a time of this’. In keeping an eye on the spiritual ‘Bridge o’er Pond’ I’m simply offering an explanation of Justin Welby’s lack of knowledge and understanding.:

‘As oft-said herein, very few in the Anglican hierarchy know the mind of our Father or they’d appreciate prophecy; not only what the Bible foretells about today but also as brought by modern-day prophets. Hence, the cluelessness about Brexit and Trump! Moreover, in allowing the CofE’s move into apostasy, it’s no wonder Justin cannot think like our American brethren do – especially in their adherence to basic Biblical belief, repudiation of Replacement Theology and their consequential, associated support for the state Israel.

‘As one example, I cite the panic Reuter’s film crew experienced in Detroit on 4 Sept 2016 after Trump not only received a standing ovation at a black church and praise from its Afro-American bishop, but also was given and wore(!) a tallit (Hebrew prayer shawl), a Jewish Bible and offered his prayers – the crew were told to cut the feed!!! ‘Trump’s personal appreciation of Israel and energetic emphasis upon returning the US to the role of ally unquestionably plays a HUGE part in wide Christian support for this radical president.’

‘MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY’ – urgent prayer call for UK & PM May

About to take a brief walk I was prompted to send a brief email to a fellow watcher but spotted news of the following alert Veronika West posted yesterday. So am re-posting it with a couple of graphics as top priority:

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM AND PRIME MINISTER THERESA MAY ‘MAYDAY! MAYDAY! MAYDAY!’

Just after midnight I heard these words in the realm of the Spirit going forth over the Nation of the United Kingdom, “Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!”

Veronika WestAs I began to pray, immediately the Holy Spirit gave me a heavy burden to pray for Prime Minister Theresa May. Now As I prayed in the Spirit I was shown clearly the Houses of Parliament and Number 10 Downing Street and then again I heard a clear distress call going forth over the Nation saying, “Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!”

Prophecy Today (link)

As I listened I heard that the call was coming from within these two locations (Houses of Parliament and 10 Downing Street), so I pressed in deeper then suddenly I saw these words being written over the Nation, “REBELLION RISING”, then I heard a loud trumpet sound and I heard these words echo in the realm of the Spirit, “The Trumpet Calls you to a Holy and Righteous Fight For Such a Time As This!”

Now as I have continued to pray and intercede this morning over what I saw and clearly heard over the Nation, the Holy Spirit led me back to this word, which I posted last year September concerning Theresa May and the Destiny of our Nation. Time for the ‘house of cards’ to come down!

This prophetic promise comes courtesy of UK Prophetic Words and is very interesting in view of what Leisa Ebere and Charlie Shamp brought here and here from the Lord, and ‘Amen’ to Vida Caplin’s conclusion:

IT IS TIME FOR THE HOUSE OF CARDS TO COME DOWN

I saw in the spirit a house of cards and heard the old nursery rhyme ‘London Bridge is falling down‘ begin to play. A hand appeared and took a card from the bottom and the house fell. I looked at the cards as they lay in a heap and saw that they were all face cards, jacks, queens and kings. I then heard another old rhyme ‘Humpty Dumpty’ begin to play.

I asked Holy Spirit to reveal to me the meaning of the vision.

“This house of cards has been carefully built over the years by those in power, it has been shaken countless times, many have seen the cracks form but it has been fortified and strengthened by those who live within its walls. It is now the time for this house to come down and it shall be done by my hand. Many shall wonder at its falling and ask, How can this be? Should we not rebuild? Can we not establish again what once was? But it shall not come to pass for no man can put this back together.”

Again I pondered on Holy Spirit’s revelation but wondered why the two nursery rhymes had played. I was stirred to look at the words of each one. In London Bridge is falling down, the words repeat time and time again in each verse about rebuilding and making stronger the construction, even setting guards to watch over it. Yet when Humpty Dumpty falls the last line states, ‘All the King’s horses and all the King’s men, couldn’t put Humpty together again!’

God is going to pull down something very big and it will not be rebuilt. This is an empire work of corruption that Holy Spirit is speaking of. The house of cards speaks of something that has been intricately built over the years, the face cards speak of those who are in powerful positions or are known. More than that Holy Spirit has not revealed but we watch for the dramatic fall to happen.

So it’s not only a demonic version of the UK/US spiritual link but also an instance of the Lord exposing corruption in every sphere, as in examples of fulfilled prophecies (see FP #10 entries).

After Obama administration’s deliberate anti-Christian policies we’re now seeing Trump’s pro-Christian stance in action.

William Booth’s prophecy of today’s dangerous apostasy

The First General of the Salvation Army, William Booth (1829-1912), is often quoted as shown above on foretelling changes in the approaching Twentieth century that could take place within churches.

His words are very accurate in prophesying global, liberal changes for the 21st Century Church, as reported in my recent posts. For more about this read Dr Joe Vankoevering’s brief article entitled 100 Year-Old Vision Coveys Sobering Warning to the Church.:

“I try to stay focused on what’s happening in the world as it relates to Bible prophecy—part of my assignment from God. And what’s occurring in the world today all points to the approaching return of Jesus Christ. He unequivocally states why the Garden of Eden and the fundamental instructions of Jesus are highly relevant as the basis of a free-market economy, and thus upon post-Brexit success for Britain:

Fulfilled Prophecy #23.1 – British lion to roar

Thank you to Angela Jelf and sister Kerry for their ‘heads-up’ on the Foreign Secretary’s speech at yesterday’s Conservative Party Conference entitled, ‘Let That Lion Roar!’  BBC News video Boris Johnson: Let the British lion roar shows the standing ovation to his gentle albeit clarion-call’s conclusion:

“We are not the lion.

“We do not claim to be the lion.

“That role is played by the people of this country. But it is up to us now – in the traditional non-threatening, genial and self-deprecating way of the British – to let that lion roar.”  (Read full text here.)

Angela’s note concludes, ‘Wow! In light of Wendy Alec’s 2005 vision of Great Britain I am so struck that this cannot be a coincidence’. I agree it’s no coincidence at all.

There are two relevant parts of that extensive visionary prophecy, principally about the danger of the EU to Britain, the first part follows its opening vision and reads:

‘Then the Lord showed me a large lion – and He said – “This lion represents the nation of Great Britain”.

‘And it was a shocking sight – for where the lion should have been filled out and sleek and gleaming – it was almost a skeleton – and its mane was barely visible – and its coat was covered in mange – and its roar which should have shaken the nations in its power and in its ferocity was strangled and barely audible. And the Lord said, “This represents both the glory of this nation at present and the state of My Church as a whole in Great Britain.”

‘And I saw in great letters – the words – “THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM THE LION – BUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL RETURN AND THE LION SHALL ROAR AGAIN.”

‘And the Lord said – “Bring back My glory – Bring back My glory that your nation may once more walk in the glory of its destiny – and the Church may show forth My glory.”

Her account goes into depth upon what she perceives as tentacles from the EU, and then she writes:

‘Then as people dropped to their knees all over Britain from every walk of life and denomination – the lion started to change – and he grew strong and sleek and his roar grew stronger. And I saw written in the spirit – “Create in me a clean heart O God – and renew a right spirit within me”. And as the people started to seek the face of the Lord I saw the word ‘COURAGE’ – and I knew that in the spirit realm that Great Britain had been endowed from the beginning of time with the mantle ‘COURAGE’ – and the Lord said, “LIONHEART”.

‘And God said Britain has yet to move into her end-time destiny in the nations – And I saw again in great letters – the words – “THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM THE LION – BUT THE GLORY OF THE LORD OF HOSTS SHALL RETURN.”

‘And the lion’s roar by now had gained strength…’

Then follows references to certain cities (including Manchester) and need for prayers of protection…and Wendy under her sub-head GREAT BRITAIN – LAND OF END-TIME DESTINY she continues:

‘And then He started to speak of Great Britain’s destiny…

“Oh Great Britain, Great Britain – isle of walls and of fortresses – I tell you that even as the glory of the Lord has departed from the Lion – so the glory of the Lion of Judah shall return – and My glory shall rest upon the Lion and the Lion once again shall open its mouth and its roar shall be heard again among the nations of this earth…”

Amen, may it be so Father -and quickly.

So let’s keep praying for the complete fulfillment of Britain becoming that godly, roaring Lion. Major elements of that awesome vision have already been, or are being, fulfilled, viz:

  • the UK Referendum to cut the EU’s tentacles (see #19),
  • PM’s mission being inspired by William Wilberforce (see #9),
  • the outrage of terrorist attack in Manchester Arena (see #20),
  • the ‘great joining of the Lion and the Eagle’ (see #22).

Update on the silencing of Big Ben’s bongs

On Friday I read this brief report by Christopher Hope, chief political correspondent of the Telegraph under the headline:

Big Ben could chime again in ‘silence of the bongs’ rethink

‘Under health and safety rules, the 13-ton bell is being taken out of action to protect the hearing of construction workers on site…’

‘Ms Leadsom was challenged in the House of Commons whether it was “beyond the wit of man silencers to be worn” by workers near the Great Bell. 

‘The Cabinet minister replied that she recognised there were “strong views” about the silencing of Big Ben. She added: “It is a very important issue. The House’s Commission met last night and agreed to the cessation for the bells for the time being but also to look at whether there are other alternatives to leaving the bells off.”…’ (read in full here).

National Day of Prayer for Great Britain – Friday 8th September

‘Dovetail Shalom Ministries, along with David Hathaway and Dennis Greenidge, are calling for a National Day of Prayer for Great Britain; for Theresa May, Brexit, the unity of the UK, and for the nation to turn back to God and His Holy Word.

‘We have taken the Emmanuel Centre in Marsham Street London for Friday September 8th. The meeting will start at 10.30am and finish by 8.00pm. It will be a day of prayer and fasting.

‘God is speaking clearly – He says NOW! Time is running out and prayer is essential at this critical time. Following all the recent disasters our nation is in distress, being torn apart as never before. So we need to come together as His body to pray, to humble ourselves, repent and plead for God to have mercy to heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14.

‘It is interesting to note that September 8th 1940 was the National Prayer Day that led to victory in the Battle of Britain. It is exactly 77 years ago in the year 5777.’

Interesting reflection of UK-US connection – and Big Ben

Walking home with today’s Daily Telegraph  in hand I spotted this ‘stop-press’ News Briefing down its left-hand side.

Instantly, I’m amused at how the linkage in our spiritual and political lives, as blogged earlier, is now showing synchronicity in the troubles our Prime Minister and the US President are both having with their own people, not the public.

We can discern the ‘devil’ in the detail – and it’s being especially provocative over the essence of our ‘Englishness’ – the law of the land based upon Magna Carta versus European Court of Justice.

Ours presumes ‘innocent until proven guilty’ out of which grew a globally-championed Common Law.  But European-Napoleonic law is different, as Dave Chapman highlights in his briefing paper EU – There is an Alternative.

Moreover, in my musing over the possibility of that devil doing a double-trial run in both the established church and our secular government for the purpose of testing out if it could circumvent the fulfillment of prophetic scripture, I cited two Parliamentarians as its unwitting ‘stooges’. One of these is Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow, whom I saw almost trip over himself to grovel at Obama during his state visit!

He is the one responsible for silencing Big Ben!

A previous project manager and a director of the company maintaining the clock’s functioning have attested there’s no need whatsoever to stop it chiming during any building works. A Telegraph editorial Speaker Bercow is mistaken to play games with Big Ben comments:

‘…if the two Parliamentary committees whose job is to oversee the administration of the Palace of Westminster were unaware of the full implications of the work, who took it upon themselves to proceed?

‘Once again the finger points to Speaker Bercow, who is apparently digging in his heels and insisting that the plan must go ahead. It is extraordinary that the ringing of Big Ben is turning into a power battle between the Speaker and his critics in the Commons. This is something that could be sorted out with a modicum of common sense and a willingness to compromise. The nation waits to see whether Mr Bercow possesses the former or is capable of the latter, as befits the holder of his great office.’

Therefore, it will be astonishing if and when something supernatural happens with our iconic clock to gain the world’s attention, as claimed by Charles Shamp in what he’d heard from the Lord (Keep your eyes on Big Ben). OR, perhaps that stoppage is part of what is meant…:

“My eye is upon this land and my hand upon the nation’s time, a kairos moment is about to come! I will cause a sign to come from Big Ben that will mark the moment that I have changed the time and season for the nation of England and the city of London. Everything will stop and people will turn to see and hear. Tell my people to mark the moment when it comes to pass for it will be sign of great change in the land.”

Let’s pray there will be a specific action that’s unmistakably of our Almighty God.

To ‘bong’ or not to ‘bong’? That’s the Big Ben question as the nation waits…

August is renowned as the ‘silly season’ for odd and weird stories because of the holiday period’s dearth of normal, newsworthy events. Yesterday’s banner headline shown below seems simply part of that season because of the Health & Safety aspects – but that belies the status of a significant symbol of our nation’s identity.

The disruption of our famous clock’s mechanism strikes at our heart but not necessarily for the reasons stated in the Telegraph, its editorial and news of MPs’ anger at being kept in the dark over details of the proposed work!  [Today: Theresa May says “It can’t be right for Big Ben to be silenced for four years”.]

Regular readers of this blog are well aware not only of Big Ben’s symbolic importance but also and more especially of the many words and dreams about it at the prophetical ‘midnight hour’. So whatever the outcome of the present rumpus, it won’t surprise the Lord for He could be in the discussions and use them to bring about His purposes, or else work around them to achieve His sovereign will for Britain, thereby getting us fully ‘in sync’ with His will. (As in the word for 2014-16 brought by Revd Dr Sharon Stone in her ‘Clarion Call’.)

Tuesday 15 August ‘Final’ morning broadsheet edition (tap for digital version)

It wasn’t until later yesterday that I caught up with news and activity on this blog and was very pleased to notice a number of past posts had shot into the popular posts listing. So, I stuck them temporarily to the home page for quick reference and now replace them with this post.

A summary of some points which may be applicable should thus prove useful:

  • R Piercey 2016-17 – “…Interesting in view of the picture I received some years ago of the Lion of Judah hovering over Big Ben; his huge paw was about to hit the clock face, where the hands pointed at 2 minutes to midnight. (I somehow knew it was midnight rather than midday).” …I believe it’s now important to share more widely what Rosemary added. Upon phoning for permission to publish today she responded without any hesitation, “Absolutely! now’s the time!”…“A few notes on the picture that hit me this morning. Someone whose opinion I value gave me a word a few weeks ago that I was a General in the King’s army; this morning I was led to read the story of Gideon again, and was reminded of his requests from God for signs. I then asked the Lord for a sign that would confirm whether or not the “General” word was true. After a short time a very vivid picture came to me of a huge bowl suspended on 3 chains above the Houses of Parliament; the bowl swung in the winds of secularism and resulting godless laws. I felt the Lord saying that this was a bowl of his wrath, which of course is a recurrent theme in the Bible – bowl, cup etc. This is not to negate in any way the positive prophecies we are receiving; many of us know that the spiritual atmosphere has changed, and we are seeing remarkable answers to prayer in our country. Nevertheless we are also called to repent, especially for what has happened in the churches, and I feel a huge urgency for this; we are in danger of losing the blessings if we are simply going to rest on the blessings. This is vitally important and I feel there is no time to lose; the bowl is tipping, and we could feel the results at any time.”
  • RB/TPuccio, Feb 2017 – ‘Today, as I prepare this compilation I draw Tony’s attention to Rosemary’s reminder on the previous blog of her picture of Big Ben and he asks for my ‘take’ on this and “What’s the Lord saying to you?” Well I didn’t have time to even think and ask Him, but was just running with my spirit’s ‘gut instinct’ as a ‘joiner of prophetic dots’ (as Glasgow calls me). So I reply that I’m busy compiling this account and will seek Him later – BUT then get a quick nudge to add, “‘…immediate thought as I type is, “It’s warning of the Lord’s Return!” ie. not long now! Tony replies, “Indeed! It would seem that the midnight hour is upon us.”
  • T Puccio March 2017 – “I had another dream about Big Ben only this time I saw it arise from the clock face on the ground to  its original height, perhaps even taller. I remember hearing it bonging, however, it did not cease as one would have expected when it had chimed the hour of the day but was a continual bonging. Then I saw people in beds asleep and I perceived that the bonging was to awaken from slumber those who were sleeping.’  
  • C Shamp June 2017 – Keep your eyes upon Big Ben something supernatural is about to be seen. As I was praying today I was taken to Big Ben in London, England. I heard the Lord say, “My eye is upon this land and my hand upon the nation’s time, a kairos moment is about to come! I will cause a sign to come from Big Ben that will mark the moment that I have changed the time and season for the nation of England and the city of London. Everything will stop and people will turn to see and hear. Tell my people to mark the moment when it comes to pass for it will be sign of great change in the land.”

Lastly, it’s particularly fascinating the change in the clock’s chiming set for 21st August is one month to the day before Rosh Hashana, the ‘head of year’ for Jewish New Year 5778, with its unconnected relevance to Biblical End-times prophesied in  1 Thess 5:3 – ‘(The Day of the Lord will come…) while people are saying “Peace and Safety”…!!

Continuing from #1 – for ease of reference, the prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day (of the Lord) will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

Re-reading that scripture upon learning of July’s Sex-Synod shenanigans something struck me from each its verses, namely:

  1. the CofE is in full-blown apostasy and thus will get at best a full-blown shaking down or, at worst, a deepening schism between orthodox and permissive clergy!
  2. someone will soon be on the world scene and manifest the antichrist spirit as ‘the son of perdition’, but is satan using the current situation as a ‘trial-run’ of what’s foretold by using ‘unwitting’ secular leaders as its mouthpiece??

Important to note that I’m NOT saying those people are demonic or demon-possessed. Disciples of Christ are only too aware of the nature of the spiritual battle being waged worldwide for everyone’s spirit, souls and minds – it’s influencing almost every aspect of our lives. The not-yet saved are thereby highly vulnerable and susceptible to satanic deceptions and all too easily fall prey to the enemy of our souls. It wants nothing less than our destruction, spiritual enslavement and eventual incarceration in hell.

PARLIAMENTARY IMPLICATIONS

In tandem with the General Synod’s formal declaration on banning Conversion Therapy, we see humanistic notions of equality, diversity,  rights and sexuality permeating ‘progressive liberal’ goals. John Bercow, long-standing LGBT activist and the Speaker of the House Commons, addressed Pink News at a reception in Parliament. Although speaking in an unofficial capacity, in view of that Parliamentary position his opinion may be deemed as being an ‘ex-officio’ statement. Premier quotes him as saying,

“We are marking 50 years since the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.

“There’s always a balance to be struck – we don’t want to behave as though it’s all over, that everything has been done. Nothing remains – because that isn’t true.

“I still feel that we can only really have equal marriage when you can b***** well get married in a church if you want to do so.”

‘When the law changed in 2013, churches were offered a protection that they wouldn’t be forced to host gay marriages in their building.” 

[Pink News reports: “‘I suppose in marriage terms there will only really be complete legal equality when it is permissible for a gay couple to marry as a matter of right in a church.” Referring to the Church of England’s clause, he added: “I always felt it was a pity when the same-sex marriage legislation went through that as a way of accommodating some of the church interests there was that compromise which detracted a little bit from the concept of complete equality”.’]

Sex-Synod & Parliamentarians in Jesus’ and St Paul’s End-times prophecies – #1

We stay on the current topic to:
  • expand upon previous posts on apostasy
  • consider its direct relevance to the UK Parliament
  • examine two End-times prophecies and their context
  • review how satanic strategy is engineering a work-around.

I humbly submit this material as an outcome of the prophecy spoken over me soon after launching this blog, as at the close of Why Write/blog?  This is only the second time I’ve referred to that specific gifting and I offer this 2-part post for weighing by my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ.:

THE DAY OF THE LORD

The issues are opened up in Synod Sides With satan – Risks Anglican Schism/Shaking and their import is outlined in re-published extract On The Great Apostasy & Deception; wherein I write about Apostle Paul’s letter informing the early church what’s destined to happen before The Day of The Lord and Jesus’ return to earth.

The prime prophetical point is unequivocally stated at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – ‘that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…’

The Bible’s first reference to ‘The Day of The Lord’ was uttered circa 585 BC by prophet Obadiah in connection with the vengeance God would bring upon the Edomites in view of their hatred for their distant relatives and in aiding the Babylonian attack against them and desecrating Jerusalem and taking the Jewish people into captivity. This word of the Lord is soon fulfilled in Edom’s disappearance. Obadiah’s scroll is the shortest in the OT but its closing verses prophesy Israel’s final triumph in not only returning home but also in its eschatalogical significance for ‘the day of the Lord’; a season of divine justice and judgement of ALL nations around Israel, viz:

‘For the day of the LORD upon all nations is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. For as you drank on My holy mountain, so shall all the nations drink continually…and they shall be as though they had never existed.’ (Obadiah 15-16)

It’s important not to overlook the fact that in quoting Isaiah 61 as His ‘mission statement’ Jesus opened that synagogue scroll and quoted the first verse only, and then stopped (Luke 4:16-21). The Spirit of the Lord God was upon and anointed Him to preach the Good News, to heal the broken-hearted and bring release for those bound as though imprisoned. That was the purpose of His First Advent, but the subsequent verses allude to the anointing also continuing in His Second Advent, namely:

“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God…”

ANGLICAN ‘SEX-SIN-NOD’

The above post offered my opinion that the apostate nature of July’s General Synod of the Church of England, especially the Archbishop of York’s actions, marked a tipping point of Anglican apostasy because of its authoritative role in that church’s legislative affairs. ‘Cranmer’ clarifies on PM May ‘instructing’ C of E on marriage

Cranmer succinctly deals with the ‘fake news’ delirium by correctly quoting the source of such claims in Theresa May did not instruct C of E to allow gay marriage.:

‘…Do you see a ‘should’, a ‘must’ or an ‘ought’ in there regarding the future of gay marriage or blessing? “This has to be a matter for the Church,” the Prime Minister said. Could she have been any clearer? Has her position on this not been utterly consistent? “I strongly support equal marriage, and I know that these debates will continue, but it will have to be for the church as a whole to decide if it wants to make a change to its canon law,” she said only a few months ago. The church as a whole: Theresa May has absolutely no intention of forcing the Church of England to perform gay marriage (or blessing), and absolutely no desire to lecture it in the way it should go….’

Are traditional, Bible-believing Christians the new heretics??

Based upon the widespread bigotry expressed over PM May’s post-election decision on forming a working majority, Voice for Justice UK follows up on the request to petition the government about free speech for Christians in Parliament with this further appeal:

THERE IS A NEW HERESY

‘To ensure a functioning Parliamentary majority Theresa May concludes a deal with the DUP; in the interests of transparency publishes the agreement in full; and is immediately accused of giving them a ‘bung’.  Criticisms abound, especially from the Welsh and Scottish Assemblies, who would also like more money – no surprise there then.  But surely the most pernicious and worrying criticisms come from those who attack the DUP for their unashamedly Christian stance on moral issues that the UK has now ideologically redefined, and imposed by law.

‘Ex-Tory chairman Chris Patten has reportedly predicted that the ‘toxic brand’ of the DUP will taint Theresa May and harm the Conservative party, specifically identifying the DUP’s hard-line stance on issues such as gay equality (see for example, Evening Standard).

‘How is it people today can so easily be branded toxic, intolerant, and bigoted simply because they adhere to the traditional teachings of Christianity, and refuse to endorse abortion, or same sex marriage?   As far as can be ascertained, the DUP have never at any time expressed ‘hatred’ for those who support such choices: they have simply said they disagree, citing as cause the moral incompatibility of such practices with Christian faith.

‘As it is, the universal condemnation and vilification of this identifiably ‘Christian’ party by gay marriage supporters, so strongly articulated by the likes of Chris Patten and Ruth Davidson – who demanded and was given assurance that there would be no rescission of LGBTI rights – speaks volumes.

Who are the real bigots here?  Who the real peddlers of hatred and intolerance? 

‘Sadly, what we are seeing is nothing less than the systemic demonization of Christians by those who want justification and social endorsement of the new morality, and who want to drive all expression of Christianity from the public arena.

‘As stressed previously: Christian faith is being increasingly suppressed by the relentless drive of Secular and LGBT activists. It is time for the intolerance, bigotry and intimidation of these so-called liberals to be exposed.’
