Chris Bennett on Ezekiel 34 & 37 – bad shepherds and renewal of the Church

I thank the Lord and UK Prophetic Words for bringing this from Chris Bennett to my attention as I don’t recall anyone teaching on Ezekiel 34 since 25 years ago! It is very helpful to those who, like me, have been deeply concerned with these issues over the past month, and may answer our concerns and queries:

‘The Lord just revealed something to me. I don’t think for one moment I’m the only one hearing this, but this is the confirmation of what’s been brewing in me for several days.

‘The Lord is saying that NOW is that Ezekiel 34 moment – the exposing of the bad shepherds. Those who have led their flock through the wide, easy gate; who have omitted so much from the gospel and from the salvation experience.

‘Those who have suppressed and grieved Holy Spirit, forcing Him to be more a spectator than contributor in their services. Those who, in Ezekiel’s own words, have grown fat without feeding the flock, or who have denied healing to the sick, succour to the poor, and justice to widows and orphans.

‘The Lord is exposing and deposing such shepherds – “THEY SHALL FALL!”, says the Lord, “BECAUSE THEY DISHONOUR MY NAME AND MY PEOPLE!! THEY FOLLOW THEIR OWN SINFUL PATH WHILE DESTROYING THOSE IN THE FLOCK WHO DO THE SAME THING! HYPOCRITES!!! THEY DO NOT PREACH MY GOSPEL NOR MY SALVATION, RATHER, THEY LEAD MY PEOPLE ASTRAY AND THEN CAST THEM ASIDE IN FAVOUR OF THEIR OWN EVIL SCHEMES !!!”, says the Lord.

‘Then the Lord showed me a wonderful Ezekiel 37 moment of prophesying to the bones then prophesying to the breath. He showed me the Valley of Dry Bones – the bones coming together. He told me to prophesy over these bones and, as I did so, the Lord showed me the army of the Lord here on earth, the church, coming together in unity once again. As I watched them, the Lord commanded me to prophesy to the breath, as in Ezekiel 37, “Command the breath, their voice, to return!” As I did so, I heard the sound of a roar coming from the resurrected army – a roar of authority and of the power of the Lord.

‘Having watched the shepherds exposed and the dry bones resurrected, the Lord spoke once again:

“I WILL SHAKE MY CHURCH FIRST TO EXPOSE THE BAD AND TO THEN BUILD UP THE GOOD. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES, AND THE BEGINNING OF JUDGEMENT, FOR DOES MY WORD NOT SAY THAT JUDGEMENT SHALL BEGIN WITH MY CHURCH?”

‘As I thought about this, the Lord continued,

“I SHALL BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO MY CHURCH, MY PEOPLE. MY CHURCH, MY BRIDE, SHALL RETURN TO MY GOSPEL INCLUDING FAITH, REPENTANCE, SALVATION, AND DISCIPLING, FOLLOWED BY THE RESTORATION OF ALL THE GIFTS OF MY SPIRIT. THEN FAITH, LOVE, SIGNS AND WONDERS SHALL BE THE HALLMARK OF MY PEOPLE.”

‘I felt the Lord had finished speaking, but He gave me a final question for all of us – When pastors start to fall, who will shepherd their flock? In this coming season, ‘all that can be shaken’ includes pastors being exposed and falling. Who will shepherd the flock then?

‘I heard the words, “The House Church movement will return just like the first church, 2000 years ago!” There is a hunger for this yet a rejection of the ‘church as usual’ mentality that pervades the body today. It’s the days of personal church meetings – small groups gathering for fellowship, often a meal, a time of teaching and discipling, with occasional larger group meetings when we all get together in celebration. I see much joy, great faith building, and miracles being the order of the day – every day! And evangelism will be rampant – church will be a lifestyle, no longer a social scene, but our way of life IN JESUS!!

However, my godly pastor Barry Kirk at Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist) kindly encouraged me to seek deeper ministry help.  And so I was intrigued to learn that a recent Ellel Ministries ‘Battle for the Mind’ conference had specifically covered Ezekiel 34!

Unity and Schism

An important and sound reflection in view of recent issues that have upset many of my readers. Am particularly pleased with Nicholas’ central emphasis on ‘accountability’, which is where the many non-traditional, modern churches can be vulnerable – yet 30 years ago ‘heavy shepherding’ gave rise to concerns and reaction to steer away from that style of pastoral oversight.
When I objected to joining a church as a possible new believer the Lord gave me the definitive answer by opening my new bible to Hebrews 13:17 – ‘Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so their work will be a joy and not a burden, for that would be no advantage too you.’ Such a clear directive was foundational to my journey along ‘The Way’!

Today I have spent some time reflecting on history and tradition, having watched Gavin Ashenden’s presentation on why he left the Church of England. Earlier in the week, I read a post at Cranmer’s site about the problem of schisms in politics and churches. Christianity has a long history of dividing into factions. In the very pages of Scripture we read:

“For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:11-13, NKJV)

Observations upon Wembley Day of Prayer for Britain

In view of Revd Dr Clifford Hill’s critique of the Day of Prayer at Wembley Arena on 26th January, and expressions of concern I’ve received from several people, I’m grateful to Dave Chapman and his wife for responding over the weekend to my request for a brief report of their impressions from the event, especially for permitting a wider publication of their personal observations, thereby adding to comments at ProphecyTodayUK.:

‘Richard, greetings in Jesus name.

‘I have to be honest and say I was surprised to see Dr Hill there. He was introduced as an old friend by David Hathaway.

‘I suppose I have seen him – rightly or wrongly – as a Jeremiah type, as opposed to an Isaiah type over the years.  I’m sure it was good he was there. Clearly his endorsing the need for repentance was a fine one, though for me revival and repentance go hand in glove and each can follow the other!  One black Pastor even shared that his/their church baptised 5,810 people last year, has 100 coming to Christ every Sunday (in London!) and was asked by the Police what they were doing or giving these people in that they’re so drastically reducing crime!  He told them “We give them Jesus”!

‘I noted his remark on the day about the church in the 90’s falling about in laughter rather than repenting, in the morning.  But the state of the church in that era certainly needed a baptism, or refreshment, and bringing into new things which we were very happy to join in with, in fact we went to Toronto to find out whether this was God or not in October of 94.  We got in the river!

‘Personally, I found the Day to be the most significant gathering I have been in during my lifetime (incl 56 years born-again).  In trying to quantify why, I’d say it was because of the embracing of the prophetic by all of the participators as a normal part of their ministry, and the spiritual warfare that took place.  The latter mirrored the kind of approach we have been in whilst on some of our visits to Uganda.  They just go for it ’til breakthrough, passionately, and with great endurance!  It could be there were some there on the Day who would not want to be part of that next time!  But we shall want to be there if possible.

‘As for the asking forgiveness of white to black and vice versa, personally that is not one I see as the problem so much as the issue of culture difference, which he mentions. It’s one of behaviour, approach or practice, style, and not colour itself.  But hopefully the publicly and mutually given forgiveness worked something.

‘Of course, we have not replaced Israel and I wholeheartedly agree with him that Replacement Theology needs to be taken from the Body of Christ, root and branch.

‘Not sure why he had a go at the ‘NAR’ in this piece of his, and though it could easily be there are human weaknesses in practice in their make up, where the core of that is going, and what they stand for, in seeking transformation here on earth is definitely where we are at.  Perhaps it’s what is needed to do away with the lack of vision he sees in the British charismatic and pentecostal churches he refers to!

‘I would suggest though, this difference can be to do with an eschatological stance over at what stage ‘’the Kingdom of God” (already here in our lives) can come in its fullest form, and Christ’s rule is possible in the earth now.  Perhaps the one emphasis concentrates almost wholly on getting the church ready for the bridegroom (and their rapture), but the other on seeking to bring in Christ’s rule and reign now as a mighty ecclesia – like a John the Baptist preparatory ministry!  The first stance can miss the great revival harvest, and the latter can step into a wrong understanding of authority and practice!

‘Nevertheless, David Hathaway said his friend Clifford Hill said to him before he left the Day, “I’ve been waiting for this gathering for 50 years”!’

‘Richard, did you know that Clifford Hill and David Hathaway have had a constructive meeting in which many difficulties were cleared up? I can’t speak on what happened at Wembley, because I was not there, but I do see that the basic premise of Prophecy Today’s concerns – that we are unlikely to have any sort of revival unless it is preceded by repentance – is Biblical. Clifford Hill himself recently wrote that he felt we are on the cusp of something life-changing, but that we still need the focus on repentance which is really hammered home in both the new and the old testament. Bless you lots!’

Europe recognised as modern ‘Babylon’ – guess by whom!

A couple of comments submitted this week offer informative insights into the scriptural and contemporary recognition of the European Union as being akin to ancient Babylon, in addition to the EU Parliament in Strasbourg being built like the Tower of Babel. That brought by a Muslim refugee seeking entry into Europe is exceptionally striking:

‘Just after the referendum in 2016 I was chatting to the Lord.
I asked him why the result was 51.8% to leave. Why wasn’t it 52%?!
As I pondered this question I looked up a few chapter 51 verse 8s and this is what Jeremiah 51.8 says…

8 But suddenly, Babylon will fall
and be destroyed.
I, the LORD, told the foreigners
who lived there,
“Weep for the city!
Get medicine for its wounds;
perhaps they will heal.”

‘This seems to confirm what many are saying; that the EU is a type of Babylon; that it is sick and corrupt through and through and will fall before long.

‘Verse 9 continues…

9 The foreigners answered,
“We have already tried
to treat Babylon’s wounds,
but they would not heal.
Come on, let’s all go home
to our own countries.
Nothing is left in Babylonia;
everything is destroyed.”

‘On Richards Watch I have read contributors who say the EU can’t be saved or reformed and this seems to confirm this. I also found it interesting how “foreigners” discuss the situation and decide to go home to their own countries!

‘Confirmation if we needed it that the EU is in a mess and it’s time to leave!’

Graham kindly agreed to copy this observation onto the recent post on the exposure of The Spiritual Nature of Brexit vs EU Battle, as well as to the reference page featuring the EU’s Tower of Babel shown at the start of Significant Spiritual Signs.

About that last entry, Margaret now comments at Triple Synchronisation of ‘Jigsaw Pieces’ as follows (emphases mine):

‘I read Graham from Plymouth comment on Significant Spiritual Signs re tower babel last night. The night before I had watched a recording of Simon Reeve’s Middle East tour where he was with refugees hiding near a border in Morocco waiting to try and get into Europe via Spain. One of these was talking to Simon saying, “We need to get to Babylon” – I think Simon asked if he meant Iraq, but he said no – Europe. “You call Europe, Babylon?” “Yes” the refugee casually said, as if Simon should have known that all along!’

On behalf of us all, I thank you Graham and Margaret for such helpful contributions.

Now, what do ordinary Muslims know that Eurocrats, ordinary Europeans, politicians as well as many churchgoers here don’t?  Could that remark explain why Muslims were the religious grouping most in favour (69:31) of Britain staying in the EU (source)?

Is that Muslim’s opinion not a severe indictment upon our spiritual ignorance!

Another Isaiah verse and vision for UK: ‘shroud over Parliament’

We continue considering visions of Britain’s Parliament in turmoil with a third sent to me  yesterday.  First, let’s quickly refresh our memories (all emphases mine):

15th Jan (Brexit Must NOT Be Allowed To Fail) – ‘This is what I read today in the news concerning Brexit. “Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement was voted down 432-202, the largest defeat for a prime minister in the history of the House of Commons”  As I was reading this I saw a vision of grappling hooks being shot over from Europe to England to pull the country back into the E.U. Britain must be totally free from the E.U, or, I feel, that it will share in the judgement that is coming to Europe. Additionally I saw in this vision Theresa May standing at her podium looking out. As I saw her looking out I saw a very large snake slithering up and down the rows of the House of Commons. I feel in my spirit that this snake is fear and deception and I do believe that this has to do with the rise of the antichrist and an independent England would greatly hinder his plans…’

24th Jan (Biblical Precedent Relating to Britain’s Constitutional Crisis) – ‘Revisiting the words on ‘Spirit of Herod’ brought by Veronika West I prefaced them with an email from Rosemary: 

‘Catching up with your posts, I read about the picture of the snake in the houses of Parliament, and now know why I was given Isaiah 27:1 a day or two ago:

‘In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish the Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.’

30th Jan – Rosemary emails ‘Another Isaiah Passage’:

“On this mountain I will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations…” (Isaiah 25:7)

‘I felt led to this passage and, after contemplating it, I had a dream of the shroud being like a huge piece of knitting; the knitting – which consisted of lots of pieces joined together – was not well-produced and was full of holes. Underneath were masses of writhing people who had their arms and legs stuck in the knitting; the more they struggled the worse it became. God of course, promises to destroy the shroud, and if he can lead his people out of Egypt after so many setbacks He can do the same for Great Britain IF we are praying, repenting, seeking his mercy.

‘This made me think of the Brexit schemes, so as with the previous Isaiah passage I wonder if this ties in with anything you have received.’

Watching only very few scenes of the recent mayhem in the House of Commons, Nina likens it to ‘hell on earth’, and so this from our friend in the south-west aptly describes the situation but promises a much better, blessed outcome for the United Kingdom.

Rosemary’s dream, however, reminded me of a picture accompanying Veronika West’s report of 29th January on ‘A Terrifying Dream’, wherein she perceived that denizens of hell can see heaven, but those of heaven cannot see into hell.

It is a deeply salutary reminder of the truth about hell – and of the dream wherein I learned I was about to be consigned there, but saved by Jesus himself. So, here’s Veronika’s account:  Continue reading →

UK Situation Summary #2 – Suzanne Ferrett on this season of opportunity for Christians

Suzzanne Ferrett kindly permits me to republish this from Passion For The Nation. She posted it as an informal chat on the message she’s been teaching for the past couple of years.  Yet it’s timely in my own considerations of prophecy and politics arising out of a personal challenge to my referring in Cranmer to the Lord’s mind on Britain and the EU. Your attention is drawn to Suzanne’s outlining differences between Britain and Europe and to our laws in particular, further details of which may be found in two footnotes.: 

I thought with all the confusion and the noise of the challenges in our nation right now, It would be good for me to explain why I believe this is a season of huge opportunity for the Body of Christ.  Let me take a moment to explain why.

I am aware that even with the promises of God that we stand on the brink of huge revival, many are still struggling.

Background

My whole journey with praying and speaking into government, began with a number of revelations God gave me around 2015 and the beginning of 2016, when I moved with my husband to Windsor in Berkshire, not long before the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta.  At that time, with several other ministers, we called a Convocation to celebrate this document, which had never been overtly successful, yet had shaped our nation and the nations for 800 years.

During that time, God showed me how the roots of our nation, Government, justice system, democracy, institutions and way of life are based through the Magna Carta on Christian principles and foundations. The Magna Carta itself was not totally original, but drew on the Law Code of King Alfred, a Christian who is often called the first King of England, although that title should really go to his grandson.

At that time, as we looked backwards to celebrate the past, I felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit to look towards the future, and we released a decree about the rising up of a governmental army, who would through their prayers govern in the spiritual realm above natural government. At that time, I felt God said, what we “have seen in the past of Godliness in this nation is only a shadow of what is possible in the future as His people rise up and take their place.”

Around that time, I also felt there would be a void in government and that would be the time when the Ecclesia would arise!  (In my book Declarations to Change a Nation – published 2016)

About a month later, in July 2015 God spoke to me clearly in the words of a poem:

‘It’s the day of clash of Empires,
It’s the Day of the Clash of Sounds,
It’s the Day of the Clash of Spirits
as they seek to take the ground,
The no-man’s land of England will become a Battleground,
The forces are preparing, The swords are being ground,
I’m calling to my church now to listen to the sound.’

This speaks of a spiritual battle in the nation, which is affecting many areas of society, and right now is sitting very squarely on our Government.

It is very clear from the gospels, that Jesus was really concerned that the “yeast of the Pharisees, Sadducees and Herodians” did not infect His church. Those three groups, the religious, the wealthy and the political, have historically held the power in many nations, and the key word is power – which is so often, the DNA of the world systems.

What is God doing?

I believe God is shaking nations, because it is the beginning of a new era.  When things are stable, change is difficult, but great shaking has the capacity to bring great change, therefore as everything moves, there is room for the establishment of something new – which right now, for simplicity, I will call the Government of the Kingdom of God.

Resounding above all the noise is the Kingdom call. A day for the Kingdom to come in all its glory and fullness, embracing the call for salvation, but also bringing righteousness, mercy, truth and justice to the earth. The DNA of God’s Kingdom is very different from the world’s systems and kingdoms, and yes, it is a Spiritual Kingdom, but it will touch and affect every part of society.

Jesus gave the coming of the Kingdom huge priority: pray “Kingdom Come” and “Seek first the Kingdom of God.”

The danger is that as everything shifts and moves, and changes take place, voids open up, and there is confusion and fear. But if God’s people will see from His perspective and stand in the assurance of His covenant and His blessings, we are those who have the potential to fill those voids with everything from love and hope, to the righteousness and justice of the Kingdom. Otherwise, something else will fill those spaces.

I believe what we are seeing in the shaking around Brexit, is part of the shift God is seeking to bring. The roots of Europe are different from ours. Their spiritual heritage is different, more based on the Roman model and influenced by Enlightenment thinking, and they have a different view of democracy.

The nations which hold the same values as ours, from the freedom of choice and the value of life, to the value of the individual, are those whose heritage roots back to the UK and to our political system.

What’s Unique about our Democratic System

It is because of the early roots through the Magna Carta and back to King Alfred 200 years before it, that our democracy is founded on the truth that there is a Higher Authority – God the Judge, the Lawgiver and the King. It means there are absolute truths which underpin everything else.

This is the foundation which has made us the nation envied around the world; the freedoms we have enjoyed, the expectation of truth and honesty, the value put upon life and the freedom of religious belief and more. The nations which were part of, or influenced by the British Empire, for all its faults, can still be identified by a similar, if eroding value system and interestingly, are also the only nations which carry all these values.

Other democracies are different.  I remember being taught at school that Democracy of itself carries the seeds of its own destruction. Without the understanding of that Higher Authority, Parliament is at the whim of the current flavour and belief of the people.
I have had people say to me that democracy is not Biblical, God wants a theocracy. I agree, however, a theocracy still needs a system to deliver God’s government. If you look at the book of Genesis, Israel went into Egypt as a family, they came out as a nation, but a nation with no laws, and no understanding other than their experience as slaves in Egypt.

God took Israel aside, He gave them a leader and through that leader He gave them laws, instructions and principles, but He told them to choose for themselves those who would be the Judges of those laws – those who would interpret and apply that law. For the United Kingdom there is a linking of some of those concepts; the coming of the Kingdom –  righteousness, justice and mercy –  in our nation is  linked to the battle for our democracy and the Christian heritage contained within it, but I believe the primary goal, is the increase of His Kingdom government in our land. (Peace and goodwill to the people)

A Question

How do we view our present situation, if the nation and parliament no longer recognise or submit to a Higher Authority?

I stand in amazement of what God is doing at this time. Coinciding with Him shaking our nation, He is shaking the church, and that means you and I are being shaken. We stand at the end of 500 years of the reformation and restoration of the church, the Body of Christ, during which He has been restoring New Testament truths and values to His people. Even in the past few years, we have seen the Father’s Heart message, the call for the church to go beyond its walls, the inner healing movement, restoration of the five-fold ministries to name a few, and recently the understanding of the word Ekklesia.

What is God doing now?

God is raising a people who know their identity, who know they stand positioned in blessing despite the situations around them, who know God is with them, that they are both kings and priests, and who also recognise and carry His heart for the people around them, crying out for a revival which will transform lives and situations.

And, there is fresh revelation into the prayer movement to know how to legislate in alignment with heaven, through declaration and decree. In this way, through the power of His people praying according to His will, God takes His place as the true lawgiver in our land.

A Parliament of Christian MP’s will never replace the authority of God’s Ekklesia.

The reason it’s been such a confusing season is that the changes God has been bringing to the nation, the Church and His people are all coinciding.

Why? I believe, it is so that we can go out and be all He has called us to be, we can fulfil the unique call on the inside of us – filling those voids of hope and need all around us, but also through prayer and declaration, aligning our government with His will and purpose for this time – turning the nation back to Him and discovering a new national identity.

One thing about our nation is obvious, we are called to lead and influence others. As we fight for our land, we are really fighting for the nations.

An amazing season of opportunity for the Kingdom of God.

Further to writing about ‘Divine Designs‘ behind Britain’s leaving the European Union, and my exposure of the EU’s attempt to entrap the UK by conniving, devious politicians, Neil Mackereth offers this brief summary of the state-of-play and recommends a course of action for Christians:

BREXIT: WHEN IS A WITHDRAWAL NOT A WITHDRAWAL?

WHEN SOME HALF-WAY HOUSE AGREEMENT RESULTS IN THE UK KEEPING MOST OF THE DRAWBACKS AND LOSING MOST OF THE ADVANTAGES.

The outcome of the “peoples’ vote” referendum which asked: “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?” (not much scope for confusion there) was 52% leave to 48% stay (not much scope for confusion there either).

However, the British intelligentsia (in their view, not mine) or, more accurately, the majority of those who are in, or who influence, the “Westminster Bubble”, think “the people” are wrong and, furthermore, not qualified (competent, wise, intelligent enough …) to make such decisions. Once in “the bubble”, the elected ones and their advisers seem to become detached from the democratic process (even though it got most of them there!).

The main aim of one faction, since the Referendum, seems to be to frighten, confuse, undermine, condemn and generally grind down the electorate that a second referendum will be welcomed. The expectation of this elite group is that their view of common sense will then prevail.

It is interesting to note that it was the ordinary public who vetoed our application to join the Euro 15 years ago, and who were more recently not deterred by the alarming stories of immediate post-referendum recession, that we heard from [Messrs; messers! RB] Cameron, Osborne, Carney and others. In fact, every step of the way the protestations of doom and despair, and the forecasts from the insiders and pundits, have been proved wrong.

Why are we still listening? In one sense the outcome of a second referendum, if it were to be called, cannot be judged; in another sense it can: it would undoubtably cause further division in our very fractured society.

Clever EU negotiators have run rings round us and inveigled many of our politicians into believing that we must strive for an agreement that is not worth having. The waters are so muddied that we cannot see that it is they who are on the back foot.

Insisting on “a deal” is a snare to keep us in the EU. By continually emphasising that an agreement is essential we have, in effect, transferred our advantage (bargaining power) to the unelected EU bureaucrats. Mention the clean-break option and, my goodness, see how that motivates the doomsayers! In trade terms, the EU’s share of the world economy is approx. 15%. The EU’s share has been falling for several years while the rest of the world has been growing [itals RB]. Obviously, sensible trading arrangements, as agreed between any nations and economic groupings, are in everybody’s interest. However, the UK is stronger, more adaptable, better connected internationally and in many ways more innovative than most of the EU. We continually play from our weaknesses instead of our strengths!

Our Nation lacks a clearly defined Global Strategy, on which all else should hinge. Harking back to military strategy, we are undoubtably suffering the “fog of war”. When faced with an outpouring of propaganda, plus incomplete, dubious and erroneous information, poor intelligence and no clear common goals, what happens? High levels of fear, doubt and hysteria are engendered. That is when rapid and unambiguous decision-making is required from an alert, competent and innovative leader.

So, we have a perfect impasse where no single “way-forward” suggestion commands a majority and the only motions that are carried are those that block progress.

However, as explained in an earlier paper, I see God’s hand on the steps that have brought us to this point. Like the Israelites during the Exodus, we are prone to forgetting the amazing things God has done over recent years, and over many centuries, in our nation. We are not forgotten: God’s plans will be fulfilled.

What should we do? For many years I have attended seminars about, heard sermons on and lightly accepted the principle of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  (my emphasis)

I believe that this scripture is reaching the pinnacle of its significance for our nation. It is not the heathens, the atheists, the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists, the secular MPs or humanists who are encouraged to pray; it is us, God-fearing committed Christians.

The Lord God Almighty is shaking, sifting and precipitating the circumstances that will awaken the Nation and the Church. I am convinced that this political log-jam is part of the process that will lead to the greatest revival ever witnessed (the final harvest). As R.T. Kendall explains in ‘Prepare Your HEART for the MIDNIGHT CRY’, there are three groups in the church: wise and foolish virgins, all asleep, and the watchers (who must be awake, by definition) who give the cry that heralds the arrival of the Bridegroom.

Soon everything will change: are you awake and ready?

Paul Keith Davis: attaining to The Age To Come

Further to the recent posts about our preparation as the Bride of Christ to rule in His Millennial reign over all nations upon earth, Paul Keith Davis’ latest video on modelling ‘The Age To Come’ is well worth studious attention:

In view of the prophetic command he’d given (herein), and others’ expectation of whom I’m aware, his early remarks on how that Age may be achieved is especially noteworthy.

The depth of Paul Keith’s expertise in post-Reformation, especially 20th Century, Church history aids his thesis – or prophetical insight – on the new, radical move of the Holy Spirit that’s prophesied by many, as in several recent posts herein relating to the vision Smith-Wigglesworth had of His moving across our land. PK says the Lord has given a measure of clarity on what The Age To Come will look like, maybe even in the next decade or so.

About a year ago, the Lord told him many of us have been arriving at, and are already making, decisions that will dictate the course of our lives until that Age’s appearance. Also, PK has previously referred to 20th Century leaders whom the Lord has used as forerunners to demonstrate what this Age will be like.

He refers to the Lord having brought changes to His Church through the Reformation and subsequent moves and outpourings His Spirit through theologians and evangelists, and the major breakthrough within Pentecostal churches. These brought an improved understanding of the scriptures with fresh, deeper revelations.

He believes there is yet one more major outpouring to come very soon that will bring a fuller Reformation as the Lord builds His people into the full manifestation of His Bride to rule with Him upon His return to reign for one thousand years.

This new Reformation will be the revelation of mysteries and revelations within the Heart of God and fulfillment of 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Very exciting teaching, so set aside 22 minutes to listen and contemplate, especially one of the most striking promises made to disciples at Luke 20:34-36 about being kept alive and found worthy to attain and taste the powers of the Age to Come (Hebrews 6:1-6). There’s only one place where I’ve previously heard the following remark Veronika West made. I’ve often heard Bible teacher Paul Keith Davis insist that prophetic visions and words must be measured against the ‘plumb-line’ of scripture, the Holy Bible. And now, here’s what our sister in Northern Ireland reported a week ago today:

“PLUMBLINE PROPHETS WILL ARISE IN THIS SEASON WITH A FIERY SWORD IN THEIR MOUTHS; A SWIFT AND SEVERE WORD OF JUDGEMENT WILL BRING FORTH RADICAL REALIGNMENT AND DIVINE REFORMATION”..!

ALL DAY I have heard the Spirit of God say,

“WATCH AND TAKE HEED! AS MY PLUMBLINE PROPHETS BEGIN TO ARISE IN THE MIDST YOU AND THEY SHALL ANNOUNCE A WORD OF SWIFT AND SEVERE JUDGEMENT THAT IS TO COME TO MY HOUSE, LISTEN AND PAY ATTENTION! Biblical precedent relating to Britain’s constitutional crisis

Some believe they heard the Lord likening Britain’s leaving the European Union to His dealings with ancient Egypt and the extraction of the Hebrew descendants of Jacob, aka ‘Israel’, from bondage therein.

Following urgent reposting of the ‘Fox in the hen-house’ prophetic words Veronika West had in June about a betrayal of Britain by a ‘spirit of Herod’, contributions from a couple of readers added more depth and so I’m collating all material into this posting for all to read.

This puts current events of our constitutional crisis into a more historical and Biblical perspective – and speaks formidably against those individuals who’ve fallen under that unclean spirit’s spell. I believe they’re unwittingly in a most invidious position.

Moreover, early this afternoon one of our friends in south-west England writes:

‘Catching up with your posts, I read about the picture of the snake in the houses of Parliament, and now know why I was given Isaiah 27: 1 a day or two ago:

‘In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish the Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.’

My Bible has this pencil marginalia, ‘ie. it twists and perverts’.  Also, I recall that ‘sea’ has a prophetical symbolism signifying ‘people’, or gathered masses, as their movement resembles waves of the sea.

SPIRIT OF HEROD

Veronika’s references to ‘fox’ were confirmed within days as relating to the actions of Dominic Grieve MP, but we need to realise her reference is symbolical. That is, it’s not him alone, because many MPs, even Cabinet Ministers, have been influenced by that spirit of Herod and come under its sway. Journalists call it ‘Project Fear’!

First, we look at only the specific words about that spirit and her explanation, emphases mine:

‘I hear the Spirit say, “Watch and Pray! The spirit of fear and intimidation is causing many to become spiritually paralysed. Fear not! For My Perfect Love now drives out all fear! My Kingdom is advancing….”

(Posted on June 10, 2018)…“A Spiritual Trooping of the Colours, the (Fox) Spirit of Herod over the Nation and a Divine Convergence Taking Place.”…As I looked at the fox in amazement, immediately I felt the anointing become so heavy and tangible, and then I heard the Spirit speak again to me saying, “Daughter look and see, for the spirit of Herod seeks to destroy and annihilate the Vision and Destiny of this Nation.  WATCH AND PRAY! For this cunning, crafty and treacherous spirit is now operating over the Government and the Church in this Nation!”

‘…I was praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit quickened to me Luke 13:31-32, “And Jesus said to them, “Go tell that fox, ‘Look, I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.“  As I read that verse, I inquired again from the Holy Spirit what He was showing me and He revealed to me that the ‘Fox’ was prophetically symbolic of the spirit of Herod that is now operating over the Nation.

‘The spirit of Herod comes with the purpose and goal of total destruction and annihilation, this cunning and dangerous spirit comes at a time when a people, Nation or individual is about to reach full maturity, growth, purpose and Destiny.

‘The spirit of Herod hates anything good or godly, this treacherous spirit seeks only to kill and destroy destinies that are on the verge of blooming.

‘As I continued praying I began to see a powerful prophetic parallel unfolding before concerning the Nation and BREXIT.  I clearly began to see how this same spirit of Herod which came against the Destiny of Jesus, John the Baptist, Elijah (operating through Jezebel), Moses and Joseph is now operating over our Government and over the Church in the Nation.

‘This spirit of Herod is warring against the people of God in this Nation, and this Treacherous Spirit is contending for the Birthright and Destiny of Great Britain. This spirit of Herod is a GREAT THREAT TO THE Nation AT THIS TIME!

‘…Then the Spirit of Revelation showed me a coming together of mantles over the Nation…I kept hearing the words, “A divine convergence is now taking place in this Nation to combat the powers of the spirit of Herod that is over the Government and the Church.”

‘The Spirit then showed me again the Mantles of Moses, Elijah, Joseph and John the Baptist and how these mantles (Anointings) will now begin to emerge or converge in the days ahead.

‘As I continued to inquire of the LORD the Holy Spirit then lead me to the Book of Nehemiah 4…read how just as Nehemiah and his people began the work of rebuilding the wall, the spirit of Herod showed up in all his glory, threatening to destroy and dismantle the wall from being restored.  BUT!! Nehemiah being as bold and courageous as a lion he stood his ground against the spirit of Herod…was not going to be intimidated or threatened by the spirit of Herod.

‘…I heard the Spirit say, “The fox is moving in the Houses of Parliament.”  Then He likened to me the Houses of Parliament as a HEN HOUSE, and He said “Just as a Fox comes to the hen-house under the cover of darkness to scatter, to steal, to kill and to destroy, so the fox has come to the Houses of Parliament in this Nation.”  The fox is moving subtly and stealthily. He is cunning, crafty and treacherous not to be underestimated.

‘But then I saw the mighty one, the Lion of Judah enter the the hen house and He began to roar and the fox fled in great fear and never returned.’

SCRIPTURAL BACKGROUND

(Sue Prosser) Such a blessing and a real help to praying in the Spirit for this nation. After listening to Veronika West’s video from last June regarding the spirit of Herod and the fox I looked up the name Herod in a Hebrew dictionary. This is what I read:
חרד: The root-verb חרד (harad) primarily means to shake and secondarily to tremble with fear or to be “anxiously careful” as BDB Theological Dictionary puts it. It’s used to describe a mountain trembling (Exodus 19:18), being startled out of sleep (Ruth 3:8), trembling indignantly (Genesis 27:33), to come or go anxiously careful (2 Kings 4:13), or scare or terrify people into submission (Judges 8:12, Job 11:19, Jeremiah 30:10). The last two applications I found particularly interesting since in Parliament there are those who are seeking to terrify us into submission (ie the foxes) and also those who are being anxiously careful, not willing to take the risk of a clean split (the hens).

(R.J Dawson) Even though the following passage I include here was written years ago it dovetails with Veronika’s prophecy and describes the evil spirit she speaks of very well. There is much in this small description that can be applied to today’s current events and world scene. I have included the link to the entire article if any of your readers may want to delve deeper into the history of the Herod family and the impact it had on the world of our Lord’s time:HEROD (from the ISBE:)her’-ud: The name Herod (Grk: Herodes) is a familiar one in the history of the Jews and of the early Christian church. The name itself signifies “heroic,” a name not wholly applicable to the family, which was characterized by craft and knavery rather than by heroism. The fortunes of the Herodian family are inseparably connected with the last flickerings of the flame of Judaism, as a national power, before it was forever extinguished in the great Jewish war of rebellion, 70 AD.The history of the Herodian family is not lacking in elements of greatness, but whatever these elements were and in whomsoever found, they were in every ease dimmed by the insufferable egotism which disfigured the family, root and branch. Some of the Herodian princes were undeniably talented; but these talents, wrongly used, left no marks for the good of the people of Israel. Of nearly all the kings of the house of Herod it may truly be said that at their death “they went without being desired,” unmissed, unmourned. The entire family history is one of incessant brawls, suspicion, intrigue amid shocking immorality. In the baleful and waning light of the rule of the Herodians, Christ lived and died, and under it the foundations of the Christian church were laid.

I responded on Tuesday to R.J that the emboldened sentence, “connects deeply into what’s happening here and that there may well be a need for the people’s open revolt to remove all anti-democrats from power! The last time it happened under Cromwell saw a growing Biblical spirituality – so maybe we’re beginning to see the pieces of today’s jigsaw puzzle falling into place?”

(R.J Dawson) This keeps going deeper, Richard. I have been listening to Veronika in the above video as I also follow these leads. What she says about the Herod spirit is serious. Like other particular evil spirits, she says it attempts to keep something the Lord is about to birth forth from coming forth and will try to kill it before it happens, as did Herod the Great with the Lord’s birth. The Herod family continued to stay interwoven with what was left of the nation of Israel in the first centuries BC and AD and undoubtedly had a hand in its fall. The Lord told them what would happen if they did not repent. But the leaders of the Jews, both civil and religious, had essentially married themselves to the Herods and the Sadducees were well-connected politically and monetarily with Rome. These leaders, despite what so many of the Jewish people actually wanted, insisted on these evil political and monetary ties and rejected the Lord. I could say a lot more but this is beyond a book length subject. Suffice it to say that the apostle Paul also warned and then prophesied exactly what would happen, though in a veiled way, in his letters.It appears the same warning continues to go forth in this current context in that the Herod spirit shows up toward the end, to either defeat the good will of God coming forth as a new movement or Great Awakening, or be defeated. There is no in-between. The forces of evil are desperate, as I have relayed in my current post [re SCoTUS: Epic Battle Brewing], and are resorting to any means whatsoever to protect their interests and stave off defeat.

These typological details confirm the spiritual as well as political nature of today’s Battle For Britain and indicate its outcome will be to God’s Glory alone – Maranatha!

All-consuming Fire of God and the Wheat & Tares (GPS #28.3)

And so the Global Prophecy Signals continue with this triple cluster…

In yesterday’s God-incidental re-blogging of Love Not The World (a dream of churches and people being swallowed up) my fellow blogger R.J Dawson noted its similarity to his post of three years ago in Real Christianity – The Great Awakening and thought my readers would appreciate its content. Well I certainly do…so thank you very much RJ.

Having time only for a quick glance I decided to read it when back at my desk for today’s full blogging day. Rather than re-blog, it’s now copied below for ease of reading – preceded by a couple of other pieces of this ‘invisible jigsaw’.

And exactly as happened 2 x 12 days ago (see New Year’s Day reflective trilogy) , our morning reading from Sanctuary – Moments In His Presence based on Moses at the ‘burning’ bush and hearing from the Lord God, this topic was reinforced by subsequent material – and thus once more confirming the validity of each message.

Next, when at my desk and opening up email’s in-tray here’s what I found from Glasgow Prophetic Centre:

Lionbites: CHANGED BY ALL-CONSUMING FIRE

God has heard your desire to be a ‘world changer’. This is His desire for you too, but you must allow Him to change you first. And He says to you, “I came to set the world on fire by igniting your heart with my all-consuming fire.

“Will you meet with me and allow me to consume all of you? Don’t keep any part of yourself from me. Let my love come in and burn up the things that have held you back. Don’t hide or try cover up these things, but surrender them to me and allow me to burn you with my love. Let me ignite your heart with a passion that burns for me. For this world truly needs fiery ones who know the purity and passion of my love. Go and burn for me, and as you do, you will truly be one who changes your community, your nation, and your world.”

Luke 12:49 (TPT) – I have come to set the earth on fire. And how I long for every heart to be already ablaze with this fiery passion for God!

Hebrews 12:28-29 (TPT) – Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakeable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!

Last, but not least, with kind permission here’s R.J’s splendid offering:

PURIFICATION BY FIRE – Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

 “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” [Matthew 3:12]

The grain kernel of wheat is composed of two parts: The inner part that we eat and the inedible outer hull. The inedible part must be separated from the edible part. There are two ways to remove the outer hull: Threshing and Winnowing.

THRESHING

Threshing was used on grains in which the hull was attached tightly to the grain kernel. In the days of our Lord, such covered grains were either soaked in water, or were lightly milled or even pounded upon to loosen the hull in order to remove it. The latter processes often damaged the edible grain.

WINNOWING

However, when dealing with grains in which the hull was relatively loose and light, little or no threshing was required. A winnowing fork was used instead to cast the grain into the air allowing the wind to separate the inedible hulls from the edible grain kernels. The light, papery hulls would float or fly away in the wind while the edible grain fell to the ground to be collected. These light separated inedible hulls are called chaff, a word derived from Middle English.

In both of these methods the unfit for consumption outer hull had to be removed from the grain kernel. Once removed the hull residue (chaff) was burned.

Keep in mind what the Lord Jesus had to go through as the new seed of all creation. He was baptized by John as our example though it was personally unnecessary. And though He had no hard outer hull He underwent the extreme process of hull removal on our behalf.

Both John the Immerser and the Lord Jesus used the rich imagery of hull removal in their preaching as illustrative of the process of salvation. The otherwise soft, warm, and loving human heart, characterized perfectly by the happy innocent hearts of young children, becomes hardened by a life of sin and rebellion against God. In time a hard outer shell forms over the human heart and creates an entirely different human nature from the original.

HEART CIRCUMCISION

This requires what the Lord refers to as heart circumcision:

“So circumcise your heart, and stiffen your neck no longer.” [Deuteronomy 10:16]

“Circumcise yourselves to the LORD and remove the foreskins of your heart, men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, or else My wrath will go forth like fire and burn with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.” [Jeremiah 4:4]

Since human will and free choice must be involved in the process of salvation, the outer hulls of our hearts can only be removed by voluntarily submitting to the process of spiritual threshing or winnowing. For those with very hard hulls the process will be more difficult. For those with lighter papery hulls removal will be less difficult. But in either case, since all have sinned regardless of degree, ALL hearts MUST be circumcised or salvation is not possible. EVERYONE MUST undergo a new birth.

We can see by the very clear illustration of heart circumcision (circle cut) that salvation and new birth (being born again) is actually a reverting back or returning to one’s original created condition. Though real Christians will still have to battle their old nature in this world after undergoing a new birth and receiving real salvation, the new nature takes over and regains authority over the old sin nature.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! [2Corinthians 5:17 NRSV]

He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. [John 1:11-13]

“You must be born again.” [John 3:7]

 Submitting to heart circumcision is not an easy choice but obviously the best choice anyone could ever possibly make. If we have a hard outer shell on our heart, it is not so fun to subject ourselves to light milling or necessary pounding to remove it. It is also not so fun to be thrown up in the air with a winnowing fork so our old nature can become dust in the wind.

Keep in mind that John the Immerser was sent to soak the nation of Israel in water to loosen its national hull and thereby gain a softening of its national heart prior to the Lord’s ministry. The goal was threefold:

  1. Making the national heart receptive to the Lord
  2. Gaining national repentance—a wholesale turning away from sin and rebellion against God—and
  3. Undergoing a national heart circumcision.

The nation of Israel would thus be divided based on its response to John’s ministry and later the Lord’s. The first camp would include all those who honored John’s and the Lord’s ministry and complied. The second camp would be composed of all those who did not.

The Lord referred to the first camp as being composed of sheep, wheat, and good trees with good fruit—“the blessed of My Father”.

He referred to the second camp as made up of goats, chaff, tares, and bad trees with bad fruit—“accursed ones”.

For all those who refuse the great opportunity of salvation and being included in those returning to the Lord’s original sinless creation, however, something must be done with them.

If it was grain kernels with very hard and stuck fast outer hulls that refused the proper treatment toward removal, such grain would be no good for anything and would certainly not be edible. But even if it was grain with light papery hulls, if winnowing was refused it also would remain inedible.

The only thing to be done with such bad grain that still contained an otherwise edible kernel was throw it in the pile of the inedible chaff that was removed from the good grain.

This is what John meant when he said the following:

“His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” [Matthew 3:12]

In order for the Lord to continue the process of new creation, the following verses illustrate more examples of allegorical entities which must be eliminated through the ultimate means of purification—Fire:

“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” [Matthew 3:10]

“The tares are gathered up and burned with fire.” [Matthew 13:40]

“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire.” [Matthew 13:41-42]

“The angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire.” [Matthew 13:49-50]

“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones (goats), into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels…” [Matthew 25:41]

“I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.” [John 15:5-6][1]

Love not the world….(GPS #28.2)

Am absolutely stunned by a double ‘God-incidence’ over this post and my discussions with two other sites! First and latest, I check to quote 1Cor14:31 (NIV) ‘For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged.’ Whilst reading that, in comes RJ Dawson’s reply to my comment (see herein) in which he closes with fuller text of vv29-13!!  Secondly yesterday, at the precise time (17:47) I close my comment ‘…and Jesus alludes to the tares being taken away first…’ in the original of my previous post, over the ‘pond’ in Tucson, Tony posts the following dream in which he too refers to the ‘wheat and tares’!!!  Now that parable was featured 3 weeks ago here as a word for 2019 – so God’s ‘GPS’ (Global Prophecy Signals) keep on ringing to stress that parable is a truly active ‘NOW’ word of God…!!!!

I had a dream where I saw churches being literally swallowed up by the earth. With some I saw people running out screaming as if for their very lives before the church was swallowed and vanished while others just were swallowed and no one came out.

The scripture from 1John is what I was impressed to quote here before the dream was posted.

Further to what Steve Hepden received on the Smith-Wigglesworth ‘Word and Spirit’ of its being like an intertwining and confluence of two mighty rivers, I’m grateful to Roger Jervois for alerting me to the word brought by Edie Bayer in yesterday’s Elijah List.  It’s original date, however, is almost concurrent with Steve’s hearing similarly from the Lord. Hence my registering both words as examples of His GPS (Global Prophecy Signalling) system. (Note Apostle Paul’s teaching: ‘Two or three prophets should speak and others weigh carefully what is said.’  1Cor 14:29 NIV)

IT IS A DOUBLE RIVER SEASON! OUR WORDS ARE THE RIVER AND OUR LIPS ITS BANKS!

I have been hearing “RIVER” in my spirit a lot lately! In fact, to make sure I didn’t miss it, God had someone recently prophesy over me that I would soon have an Ezekiel 47 moment. Looking up Ezekiel 47, I found out that it is about a river – the one that Ezekiel walked through!

Since I’d been hearing it so many times in my spirit, while driving recently, I decided to ask the Lord, “What is it about the river, Lord?”

He responded immediately, saying, “The River is a most holy place.”

Sometimes God speaks to me and I don’t get it right away because it’s a riddle! When He said this to me, I actually thought I heard Him wrong. How could A RIVER, which is not just one place, but a multitude of places that could stretch for miles, be A MOST HOLY PLACE? I could not understand it.

“What?” I asked Him.  Again, he gently repeated it to me, “A most holy place.”

Pondering this phrase, it reverberated in my spirit, rolling around inside of me. I knew this phrase was a scripture, or part of one; however, since I had just read Leviticus, I also thought I remembered it had to do with the burnt offering sacrifice. I felt in my spirit that what He was saying is that somehow the river is related to Aaron and the Priests’ portion of the sacrifices. These were designated as “most holy” by God, to be partaken of in a “sacred place”.

“And the bread shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a sacred place, for it is for [Aaron] a most holy portion of the offerings to the Lord made by fire, a perpetual due [to the high priest],” (Leviticus 24:9 AMPC).

Thinking that, as kings and priests, The River must be OUR “sacred place” in this season, “a most holy portion”, I left it at that. Yet, still hungry and desiring more revelation, I asked the Lord again, “Tell me about The River, Lord!” Again, immediately, He responded, but this time visually. As I drove, He took me high above the highway, showing me a vision of rivers from the air… many rivers, tributaries and convergences.  He reminded me that rivers have banks, and that the river flows in between those banks.

When I got home, I started to study out the river of Ezekiel 47 in Hebrew. I found that the word for “banks” (Strong’s 8193) means “LIPS”! Suddenly, I understood! Remember, the Lord had reminded me while I was driving that every river has banks. Since the banks of the river are our lips, then the Lord was saying that our words are the river, and our lips are its banks!

The River is a most holy place, He said, so the banks – our lips – must also be holy, as are the words that flow from them – a holy portion from a sacred place! This makes them, and us, holy, because He is holy!

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, ‘Be ye holy; for I am Holy.’  (1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV).

His words have creative power, so our words must be HIS WORDS. Incredibly, this is something we already know; however, the Lord is emphasizing how super-important it is in this hour.

The River in Ezekiel 47 becomes a DOUBLE RIVER, so the river of our words has a “double river” power in this season! Watch this:

“And wherever the double river shall go, every living creature which swarms shall live. And there shall be a very great number of fish, because these waters go there that [the waters of the sea] may be healed and made fresh; and everything shall live wherever the river goes.” (Ezekiel 47:9).

WOW! Most of us already know that we frame our world with our words – that we speak and create our circumstances!  But in a double river season our words produce results so much greater than our thoughts or intentions.

Our mouths are superbly creative forces in the earth realm, but much, much more so in this season! In this DOUBLE RIVER SEASON, our words have even more creative power! This means that when we speak in agreement with the word of God, which is holy, we will create more of what He says, because everything that we say will LIVE! When we speak in agreement with the word of God in this Double River Season, our words will release more from heaven’s banks – more life! More health! More abundance! More joy! More peace! More of everything.

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof,” (Proverbs 18:20-21 KJV).

Going back to while I was driving, I asked Him again one last time, “Tell me about The River, Lord!”  He responded immediately with, “You’re IN IT!”

You see, since God’s voice is the voice of many waters (see Revelation 14:2), He says many things at the same time using the same words. The “Double River” is not just what we are creating according to the word of God. We are creating Revival simply by speaking it into existence! The River flows from the temple into the Dead Sea – into the lifeless water, healing it (see Ezekiel 47:8).  The River comes, bringing life, forcing it to overflow its banks, becoming a double portion! This is the water that brings life to everything in it.

This sounds like REVIVAL to me – and we’re IN IT, says the Lord! “And there shall be a very great number of fish, because these waters go there that [the waters of the sea] may be healed and made fresh; and everything shall live wherever the river goes.”

I cannot over-emphasize the power of what the Lord has released through this word! We MUST pray the word, speak the word, sing the word, prophesy the word and use the word in all that we do in this hour. We have an opportunity unlike any other moment in history to create what it is that God is speaking. We are already IN Revival, in a DOUBLE RIVER SEASON, bringing life to all!

Speak Life! Hallelujah!

An insight on Smith-Wigglesworth’s ‘Word and Spirit’ prophecy – intertwining like the confluence of two mighty rivers (GPS #27.1)

At the beginning of last October we saw the double ‘God-incidence’ of having blogged on the Jean Darnall and Smith Wiggleworth’s visions and then learning about a prayer meeting being held by Call The Nation To Prayer that weekend in connection with both. It’s like the Lord used GPS, or Global Prophecy Signalling, to catch our attention and remind us that although decades old, they are still ‘in play’ and waiting to be fulfilled – ie. ‘now’ words.

Now, yet another double ‘God-incidence’ clearly attests to the Lord stressing the great importance of the Smith-Wigglesworth ‘Word & Spirit’ prophecy, as though four pieces of an invisible jigsaw are being put into place!  Last weekend what Steve Hepden and Chris Bennett had heard from Him was published by private email and public blog (UK Prophetic Words) respectively. Steve kindly permits me to publish what he received in the weeks before Christmas:

It is over three weeks ago when I first heard God speak to me.

I was walking up the road from the shops with a loaf of bread and was more concentrating on my walking and crossing the road. What surprised me was the suddenness and spontaneity of the word as I was certainly not thinking of this.

The essence of my prophecy is ‘the Word and the Spirit’ and I thought of something Smith Wigglesworth spoke in 1947. Having always loved and appreciated Pentecostal and Charismatic church history, this came to mind. He said, as part of his prophecy, ‘When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen.’

Why now? I believe it’s a reminder to the older generation, a new word to this generation and a call to prepare and position ourselves to enter into it.

Here is what I heard:

“There is a distinctiveness between Word and Spirit, yet they go hand in hand together.
However, in the move of God to come, the distinctiveness will remain but there will such a joining together that the synergy produced will become more powerful than you have ever seen. For the sum of the whole will miraculously be greater than the sum of the two parts. It will be like two mighty rivers coming together in a confluence where something greater, deeper, wider will happen and at the point of joining there will be disturbance. The influence established by this will be far greater than each individual river.

“This joining together will be an intertwining of the one into another and even though joined and thus influencing each other without measure, they will still maintain their distinctiveness. It really is a marriage. The Word and Spirit are different in nature, they are unmistakable, clear-cut and defined. Yet they will serve each other and bring their own distinctiveness together to enhance and release each other further than ever before. The Word will be the source by which the Spirit will move in the drama of signs and wonders and with such a purity of fruit, being the character and the Spirit will express and manifest the Word with power and authority in gifting.

“Some say you are men and women of the Word or others say you are men and women of the Spirit, but this will change dramatically and people will not know what to call you and will even wonder what is happening. There have been forerunners over the years and they are scattered over the Nations, yet it is time for everyone to be challenged and inspired in a way that has not happened before, for the fact of the matter is that everyone can come into this and in an accelerated way. Do not stay where you are, move forward by making a choice to open yourself up to the Spirit of God and to the illuminating Word of God, for the New Year will bring a new day for you.“

I have been meditating on this prophecy and It’s amazing how many scriptures you can find where the Spirit and the Word are in union and unity.:
Ps 107:20, ‘He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.’
Luke 1:34-37, Mary said, ‘how will this be?’ ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.’ ‘For nothing is impossible with God.’ ‘Let it be to me according to your word.’
Rom 10:17, ‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’
Acts 6:8, ‘and Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.’
John 6:63, ‘The Spirit is the one who gives life! Human strength can do nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are from that life-giving Spirit.’

However, there is an indictment from the lips of Jesus and I want to live as far away from that as possible. Matt 22:29, ‘Jesus replied, you are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.’

A challenge we need to take serious note of.

Why should I ever be surprised at what turns up from the Lord?

Here’s yet another reference to Hebrews 6; the one with the ‘Age to Come’ verses. AND it lines up with the current, albeit unplanned, focus upon training for ruling and reigning together with Jesus in The Millennium.

I’m grateful to Rose for drawing this message to my attention. It is special because of its succinct emphasis upon Jesus’ command, “Occupy until I come!”, which is also the thesis ‘foremost Bible teacher’ and Bishop of Liverpool, J.C. Ryle makes in his classic book ‘Are You Ready For The End Of Time?’ (1867). 21st Century prophet Bobby Conner writes:

No Delay It’s Time to Proceed to the Next New Level – Possess The Land! A Big Word, For Now, Is “Occupy!”

In a profound encounter, the Spirit of God said, “It is time to go to the next new level!” I was instructed to prepare a remnant of Believers to position themselves to advance proceeding to the next new level, to possess the Land, and to possess and occupy! I said, “Lord, I don’t like the word remnant, it seems too selective.” He replied, “Don’t misunderstand; this invitation of advancement is open to all who will obey. Gender or age makes no difference, it is an issue of the heart.” All are called, but few will come!

The Peril of Falling Away

Don’t allow yourself to stagnate and become callous and cold, now is the time to awake from slumber and rouse to reality (see Romans 13:11-14)! Arise and shine and push-on to new heights (see Isaiah 60:1-5). The Spirit of Truth is desiring to release profound awesome revelation for any who will seek to come higher. If you contend and earnestly seek this can be a season that the eyes of your heart are flooded with revelatory light (see Ephesians 1:17-18). We must go dig deeper into the Word of God to discover the ways of God

Therefore, let us get past the elementary stage in the teachings about the Christ, advancing on to maturity and perfection and spiritual completeness, [doing this] without laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of teaching about washings (ritual purifications), the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. [These are all important matters in which you should have been proficient long ago.] And we will do this [that is, proceed to maturity] if God permits. (Hebrews 6:1-3 AMP)

It is time for the Prophetic Seers to go into the Courts of Heaven, behind the veil acquiring the Divine plans and purposes of God. The Spirit of Truth stands ready to release the Divine strategies and blueprints of heaven. This is not a time to be vague and dim, but we must be bright and alert clear and committed to advance the King in His Kingdom.

Divine Dissatisfaction Producing a Holy Hunger!

The Spirit of God is fanning the flame of discontentment within the heart of many. We can’t remain satisfied and content with our lack of power and spiritual authority; a cry of desperation must burst forth. “Enough is enough!” Ask yourself this question: Am I willing to pay the price to seek the Lord for promotion? This will be a season of swift acceleration and advancement if we put God first.

We are instructed to seek the Lord while He is near (see Isaiah 55:6). We are reminded that we only find the Lord when we search with all our heart (see Jeremiah 29:12-13). If we make seeking Him and His Kingdom our top priority, He will take care of everything else (see Matthew 6:33).

There is a wonderful grace offered for us to advance in the times of adversity! The invitation is extended to all saints; however, by a lack of commitment, many will disqualify themselves. This is a time to be desperate for the revealed glory of God. One of the marks of these overcomers will be hunger and complete dissatisfaction with business as usual.

This holy hunger will drive us to seek the Lord on a much more increased level. Jesus states, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” The Amplified Bible reveals, “those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God)…shall be completely satisfied!” (see Matthew 5:6).

It’s time to remove all lids of limitations off and believe God for big things, assured that He is able to do much more than we could as or even think (see Ephesians 3:20-21). One way not to miss God’s new thing is don’t think it is already here. Yes, we are so thankful and grateful for all that God is doing, yet there is much more. The promise is that the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God’s glory (see Numbers 14:21 and Habakkuk 2:14).

The Spirit of God is stirring our souls and awakening our hearts to seek deeper depths and higher heights. This is the time for you to go all out for Christ and the Kingdom of God. Don’t hold back; surrender yourself entirely to the control and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The statement is so true: deep is calling to deep (see Psalm 42:7).

Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. — Isaiah 43:19

This is a promise of transformational power being released, giving and unction to function. A roadway in the rugged wilderness and flowing refreshing rivers in the dry, barren desert. Nothing is too hard for our God (see Job 42:2 and Genesis 18:14)!

You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve], which you have not known.

They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word], and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, “Behold, I knew them!” — Isaiah 48:6-7 (AMPC)

These new things are called into reality by the prophetic proclamation. They are decreed, and God brings them into reality.

We do not have time to delay, the Spirit of Truth is preparing a remnant to proceed to the next new level; we must advance and make progress(see Ephesians 5:14-15). In this next new level, we will begin to grasp a higher, clearer insight into the majesty of the Master. Prepare to behold the living Lord Jesus in a much clearer way.

It is time to taste the hidden manna reserved for over-comers revealed in Revelation 2:17:
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone, a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

I pray that 2019 will be filled with the overflowing favor of God upon you and your loved ones. Embrace the promises of God’s new day. Expect to see God’s mighty power!

Arising from references to The Divine Council and Millennium training in comments on a prophetic word on the UK Government, and how the Church can influence it by virtue of its Kingdom authority, a reader asked me about such training within churches.

It’s an excellent question in view of the implications in that word, and in others brought by Bobby Conner, Neville Johnson,  Lana Vawser and Veronika West to name a few, on bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to earth (eg, Lana on prayer lives being filled with holy fire).

Also, I’m aware of some ministries that equip us for service in that event:

In replying to that reader I sent a link to Bible and ancient languages scholar Dr Michael Heiser, as well as this excellent video received earlier from Paul Keith Davis, founder and leader of White Dove Ministries, about prophetic models from and operating in “The Age to Come” :

Personally, this is all highly encouraging and brings to mind what was indicated to me about it 7 years ago as ‘The Book Beyond the Bible’, which I blogged about in Supermoon Monday’s Blood Moon and The Age To Come as below:

‘At an inter-stream conference in March 2011 in Winchester, King Alfred’s capital of Saxon England, the Lord drew my attention to the unwritten book hiding behind my Bible’s back cover! That is, beyond The Apocalypse, or Revelation given to Jesus Christ, for showing to and recording by His close disciple and apostle, John.

‘As noted in Revival 1: glory stories, I sensed in worship that the Lord wants me to focus upon the eventual new earth and new heavens, especially the appearance from heaven of The New Jerusalem. That is, to not only be involved in and understand the times of His return, but also and more importantly to focus upon His ultimate aim for the Church, as in Revelation 21-22 and its existence and purpose beyond the Bible’s cover!‘

‘That pre-blog email recounts subsequent encouragements for understanding that this all relates to ‘The Age to Come’.’

A PROMISE Re. LORD’S RETURN

About 10 years ago I was particularly blessed at a conference in Bath where Paul Keith was teaching. As a listed art-deco cinema, the sanctuary area of Bath City Church has cinema seats sloping down to a broad, deep level floor in front of a raised platform. I recall him teaching from that floor when he got a prophetic word for someone sitting in the rear of the auditorium. Suddenly, he strode up an aisle to deliver it closer to the person. However, whilst passing me in an aisle-seat on his left, he turned to look directly at me and told me: “Await His return!” – Wow, was I undone!

So although Paul Keith was about to deliver a word he must have been diverted by the Holy Spirit to convey a brief command to me – one that must be mightily important for me to know and obey as an essential part of my destiny!  So, I can but trust it’s true!

Also, I’m not the only one having grounds for believing in the distinct possibility of Jesus Christ returning in their lifetime. A friend informed me he knows a lady in her 80’s who’s assured she will live to witness that event. And Nicholas, author of the previous post on moving into the Millennium is of a similar mind.

Why the dates in this post’s header?  1989 is when I encountered Jesus. 2009 is when I began writing about End-times and biblical and contemporary prophecies.

Lastly, let’s remind ourselves that the ‘Age To Come’ has been accessible to disciples since the earliest days of the pristine church, as witnessed by the author of the book to the Hebrews (New King James Version):

The Peril of Not Progressing

6 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to [a]perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this [b]we will do if God permits.

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 [c]if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

2009 End-times revelation on ‘wheat & tares’ reinforced for 2019 (GPS#26.1)

Recently a number of previous insights and prophetic words have been reiterated as though stressing not only their important relevance but also and maybe more stridently because their manifestation is now drawing close. There’s been an increasing number on the parable of the separation of the wheat and poisonous weeds(!) known as darnel, or tares, now being applied to the sifting and cleansing of church denominations. The latest on this is Neville Johnson’s letter from The Academy of Light in Australia and, in my humble opinion, is essential reading – especially in nearly coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the inward ‘voice’ I heard upon opening my Bible to re-read that parable: “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” (as told in The Endgame Is Now In Play and which started my writing upon prophetical matters).

A new year, a fresh start – a reflective trilogy

Three brief messages may encourage my readers personally, and assist reflection upon your spiritual journey, or your consideration of embarking upon one.:

A long year of increasing difficulties has disappeared and we’re blessed to face a fresh start with their elimination. It was mightily encouraging, therefore, on New Year’s morn’ and our returning to the beginning of daily meditations in Sanctuary by David Strutt, to read his following insight (tap/drag to enlarge):

Lionbites: I CREATE THE DAYS

As you enter this new year it may be hard to see that it truly is new and you may even feel trapped in the yester-days and the yester-years. Your calendar feels backwards, with future dates already filled and re-filled with diary entries from the past.Yet the Lord says over you,

“I am the God who creates the days. I am He who exists with Time. I do not give you days without purpose nor do I give you time without fruit. Give Me your minutes and I will add years to you, give Me your seconds and I will multiply them with fruit. You are My child and I will cause you to prosper; you are My gift and I will cause you to bless and to be blessed. I created you by design, lifting you out of obscurity into abundance and now you have the path of plenty for I Am the Light of Life.”

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Meanwhile ‘back on the ranch’; ie. where my interest in Bible prophecy kick-started 30 years ago upon seeing Iranian forces rehearsal of storming Jerusalem (details here) – Not forgetting this week’s news of Iranian regime’s persecution of Muslim converts to Christ.:
