Those playing Church are to be taken away (GPS #47.2 – F/P #121.11)

As mentioned in the 47th example of Global Prophecy Signals of ‘Tucson’ Tony’s dream of a holy whirlwind turning churches upside-down, another over the ‘Pond’ contributor but in Ottawa, JAC Laferriere, referred me to his researches and finding a pandemic-related prophecy, which is now republished in full – courtesy of His Kingdom Prophecy.

This includes a reference similar to Matthew 24:7, as at the close of the previous post on ‘pestilence’, but its main matter features again in the next posting I’m working on (GPS #47.3):

THOSE PLAYING CHURCH ARE TO BE TAKEN AWAY

‘The LORD has spoken to me and He is going to allow those playing Church to be taken away with the unrighteous!

‘Famine, pestilence and disease are coming and we are going to need Jesus, folks!

‘It is time to stop playing Church and taking advantage of God’s Grace as many of us have!

‘We are in Church today — and tomorrow we are living like the devil’s child!

‘The hands and the mercy of God has been gracious to His People, as well as the Nation, but it is time to get our act together!

‘This is what The LORD spoke to me regarding His People and those who failed to repent after being warned, over and over again!

“And The LORD said to him, (the man with the ink bottle was an angelic being probably an angel) “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in the midst of it.”  (Those who wept/ interceded and prayed)

“And to the others He said in my hearing, “Follow [the man with the ink bottle] through the city and smite; let not your eye spare, neither have any pity.”

“Slay outright the elderly, the young man and the virgin, the infant and the women; but do not touch or go near anyone on whom is the mark.  Begin at My sanctuary.  So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple,”  [who did not have The LORD’s mark on their foreheads]. [1 Peter 4:17]

“And He said to [the executioners], Defile the temple and fill its courts with the slain.  Go forth!  And they went forth and slew in the city.

“And while they were slaying them and I was left, I fell upon my face and cried, Ah, Lord God!  Will You destroy all that is left of Israel in Your pouring out of Your wrath and indignation upon Jerusalem?

“Then said He to me, The iniquity and guilt of the house of Israel and Judah are exceedingly great; the land is full of blood and the city full of injustice and perverseness; for they say, The LORD has forsaken the land; The LORD does not see [what we are doing].

“And as for Me, My eye will not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their wicked doings upon their own heads.

“And behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the ink bottle at his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as You have commanded me.”  (Ezekiel 9: 4-11)

Monday newsmix: US President Trump proclaims day of prayer; Primate Of All England Welby, British PM Johnson…well..um?

Catching up with weekend emails I note in his blog As we face this crisis, the President has asked us to pray… American author and blogger Joel Rosenberg quotes an official proclamation issued on Saturday in full. I’m referring to it here for information in order to contrast the leadership of a Christian-led federation of individual states with a once-Christian united kingdom of four nations…(all emphases mine):

THE UNITED STATES

Proclamation on the National Day of Prayer for All Americans Affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic and for our National Response Efforts

POTUS Donald Trump even quotes scriptures, and embraces devotees of all religions,  in his opening paragraphs: 

‘In our times of greatest need, Americans have always turned to prayer to help guide us through trials and periods of uncertainty.  As we continue to face the unique challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, millions of Americans are unable to gather in their churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, and other houses of worship.  But in this time we must not cease asking God for added wisdom, comfort, and strength, and we must especially pray for those who have suffered harm or who have lost loved ones.  I ask you to join me in a day of prayer for all people who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic and to pray for God’s healing hand to be placed on the people of our Nation.

‘As your President, I ask you to pray for the health and well-being of your fellow Americans and to remember that no problem is too big for God to handle.  We should all take to heart the holy words found in 1 Peter 5:7:  “Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.”  Let us pray that all those affected by the virus will feel the presence of our Lord’s protection and love during this time.  With God’s help, we will overcome this threat….’

NOTE how this ‘newbie’ Christian draws his short proclamation to a conclusion:

‘As we come to our Father in prayer, we remember the words found in Psalm 91:  “He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

‘As we unite in prayer, we are reminded that there is no burden too heavy for God to lift or for this country to bear with His help.  Luke 1:37 promises that “For with God nothing shall be impossible,” and those words are just as true today as they have ever been..’.  

THE UNITED KINGDOM

That makes a HUGE contrast with ‘Great’ Britain where no Head of State or national leader – secular or spiritual – has done anything similar to unite the nation in prayer!!! 

In A nation confronting its own mortality needs spiritual leadership. So where is Justin Welby? journalist Simon Heffer reminds readers,

‘With an absence of word-mincing unusual in his office, the Prime Minister has warned that some of our loved ones will die because of the coronavirus. He has urged individuals to rally round and do what the state cannot, and ensure those in isolation are looked after. Our political leadership has not concealed just how fundamentally life could change for all of us.  It amounts to little less than a recalibration of our existence…’

Heffer then points out and asks:

Mr Johnson began to articulate this; but the crisis takes us into philosophical questions about the nature of society and our place in it that go beyond the training or experience of a politician. They border on spiritual matters. The Prime Minister would presumably be the first to admit he lacks the authority required of a divine spokesman. When faced with matters of life and death, especially on this potential scale, our culture – even if we are not religious ourselves – demands something more elevated. And that brings us to the Archbishop of Canterbury.

‘As deaths rose and coronavirus cases multiplied last week, the Primate of All England, spiritual leader of the Established Church, was notably silent. Given we were being warned of a possible death toll that would remove a higher proportion of our population than at any time since the Great War, did the Almighty’s Anglican vicar on earth have something to say? He did not. Perhaps Justin Welby has been saving up a grand pronouncement for the Lord’s Day. If so, it may prove welcome, but would have come far too late…’

It makes a notably deep contrast with Welby’s call a year ago to a national day of prayer over leaving the EU, albeit unaware of the dozens of prophecies in this regard!!

Fridays start our long weekend but I’m interrupting the break to post today’s (28th Feb) headline news in the light of the word received by Leisa Ebere yesterday, and amending the title of a blog scheduled for posting tomorrow.  This afternoon’s news reports “When asked how close the UK was to cancelling big events due to the the virus, Health Minister Jo Churchill said. “We are taking the advice of the Chief Medical Officer and assessing the situation on a day-by-day basis. Any decision to cancel events or mass gatherings have to be assessed at the time, based on clinical guidance and based on risk.” [UPDATE 12 Mar: World Health Organization in Europe declares global pandemic, at phase 6 level.]

Leisa Ebere: a vision of dry bones rising

Leisa emails me yesterday, ‘The Lord took me into a powerful vision in the early hours of the morning, which speaks about His discontent with those who are not living in the fullness of His Spirit. His heart’s desire is that we rise up and embrace the Glory, Power and Grace that His Precious Son, Jesus, died for, so that we can live victorious lives. Here it is:

THE RISING OF THE DRY BONES VISION

given to Leisa Ebere on 18th February 2020

‘The Lord took me into a vision, to a very desolate place, and it was extremely quiet there, as if it had been forgotten and forsaken entirely. And then as I looked in the distance I saw the valley of the dry bones, as is spoken of in Ezekiel 37, and I saw that there were snake pits throughout the valley and that certain bones were being blown into the snake pits over and over again. Then I heard the Lord say,

“Those who will not rise when My Prophets extend Words from My Throne Room shall fall into deeper deception. But those who rise and walk towards the Brightness of My Rising shall be connected and empowered for a glorious purpose.”

‘Then I saw an angel fly with what looked like weights and measures and that he had positioned himself on a high hill above the valley, and I saw there was a legion of angels standing with him and some were blowing shofars and others were singing in a mighty assembly on that hill. Then the Lord proclaimed in a loud thunderous voice,

“The gathering of My People shall not be stopped by Unbelief or Deceptions. For the testimony of humanism and traditions of men shall pass away and be labelled as foolishness, as My Sovereign hand moves upon the Nations of the earth. For My Glory shall be released to free the captives and to protect the innocent and My forbearance of this present Age is coming to end,” said the Lord of Hosts.’

2017: CoE sex-Synod sided with satan > 2019: CoE papers used in court against Christian doctor

My conclusion of two years ago today has, regrettably, proven true and developed into a wider issue out of what was euphemistically termed ‘CoE General Sex ‘Sin-nod’ 2017′. In opening my blog Synod sides with satan – risk of Anglican schism/shaking, I note that the legislative assembly of our national church ruled against practising the holy ordinance of normal marriage by saying, in effect, as in this extract from the blog:

‘General Synod: “NO, not as it means keeping God’s word on sex and marriage! How dare we insult people with what You say and expect.” [July 2017 AD]

‘Thus begins the Great Apostasy foretold by the apostle to the Gentiles?

…The Day of the Lord will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped…(2Thess 2:3-4)

‘The great falling away from faith in Christ Jesus has been gaining momentum for years (ie. mainly by individuals). However, decisions and official declarations by the Church of England’s recent General Synod, the tricameral deliberative and legislative gathering of bishops, clergy and laity, means we could now regard the Great Apostasy as being ‘officially’ under way.’

Therefore, along with a great many Christians I’m deeply concerned to learn the CoE’s subsequent official instructions and guidance documents have been quoted in court as evidence against a Christian!  As a nation we’ve thus fallen into utter, craven stupidity and are reaping the consequences of defying the Word of the Almighty.

Dr David Mackereth lost his job with the Department for Work and Pensions after he refused to identify clients by their chosen gender instead of their biological sex – and that was not in an actual case but only when discussing a hypothetical case of a 6-foot bearded man wanting to be called a woman!

Dr Mackereth said that using ‘transgender pronouns’ went against his conscience as a doctor and Bible-believing Christian. As explained earlier: “I believe gender is defined by biology and genetics. And that as a Christian the Bible teaches us that God made humans male or female.” (Telegraph 2018)

It is very disturbing to see a doctor with 26 years of experience in A&E medicine being forced to choose between telling the truth and his profession. In dismissing him, the DWP has violated the three freedoms of conscience, speech and religion in one go. We rely on doctors telling the truth. Imagine if they were forced to accept a patient’s chosen diagnosis!

In response, the DWP declared that failing to accommodate clients’ preferences to use ‘transgender pronouns’ would amount to “harassment” under the Equality Act 2010 and dismissed Dr Mackereth as Health and Disability Assessor.  Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, he challenged the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions but lost his case because the DWP relied upon Church of England documents to prove their case, even though the doctor is not an Anglican but a Bible-believing Christian! (Two terms  obviously not synonymous!)

In CofE Teaching Used As Evidence Against Christian In Court Andrea Williams, the Christian Legal Centre’s CEO, says,

“What really upset me though, as a member of the Church of England’s General Synod, was that the people who sacked Dr Mackereth for his Christian beliefs relied on the Church of England’s position to justify their actions. I have spent a lot of time trying to tell Christians, of all denominations, that our public witness to the Truth – all aspects of it – is vital.  When we are on TV, radio, or even in court we are often told that our brand of Christianity is not what lots of other Christians think. But, this week, for the first time, what the Church of England says was used as evidence against a Christian in court. For me it was another stark reminder of the damage caused by the Church of England’s abandonment of truth.

“The evidence deployed against Dr Mackereth included reference to the House of Bishops’ Guidance for welcoming transgender people, and the Pastoral Guidance for use in conjunction with the Affirmation of Baptismal Faith in the context of gender transition. I criticised these moves towards acceptance of transgenderism at the time, and Carys Moseley explained why the transgender issue is a first-order gospel issue.

“What is important for Dr Mackereth’s case is that the Pastoral Guidance says that transgender people should be referred to using their chosen name and pronoun. The guidance is, therefore, that Christians should not tell the truth about the biological sex of a transgender person. I think that, at the very least, in a civilised and fair society all people should accept this is, at least, a freedom of conscience issue.” (Emphases RB)

May the Lord now rapidly fulfill several prophetic visions of churches being shaken to their foundations…

Recommended, nay mandatory reading – an eye-opening expose:

The Transgender Issue is a First-Order Gospel Issue (26 Jan 2018), an introduction to which reads,

‘The Church of England bishops recently passed on responsibility for crafting liturgies celebrating gender reassignment to local clergy. This article by Carys Moseley shows that in doing this they perpetuate fundamental theological errors such as blasphemy, rebellion against God as Creator, dishonouring parents, and renaming God. The transgender pathway is shown to be a counterfeit of the Christian gospel. This will affect people’s trust in the clergy as well as the integrity of theological training…’

In considering those latter effects of the bishops’ abdication of their responsibilities, the author confesses, “This whole article has been extraordinarily difficult to write because careful investigation shows the situation of the Church of England to be catastrophic. We have there the wholesale public capitulation of an entire denomination, something truly sobering…(and it) is a first-order gospel issue. Its only hope before the Almighty God who loves us with a holy love is heartfelt repentance, and that must begin from the top down.”

Therefore, what was Synod siding with satan is now the Anglican hierarchy’s apparent subservience to it, not to our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. It is outright apostasy.

Searching for wrong ‘truth’ traps me in a spiritual prison

(2nd of 7) We continue our ‘journey’ as I pray it will inform readers who are not-yet Christians about avoiding the pitfalls and dangers of suspect spiritual matters:

Me 1962

1962 in Leicester.

The intellectual freedom of higher education in the ‘swinging 60’s’ enabled me to break loose from the values of my parents and their generation. Even so, I recognised their values had enabled them to come through the destruction and deprivation of the Great Depression, World War and post-war Britain austerity with great fortitude.

As in the previous post about attending the “wrong school”, a formative influence upon this boy of the post-war ‘baby boom’ was the disharmony and hypocrisy between churches. In my mind it tarred all Christians with the same brush and badly reflected upon the God they believed in.

Nevertheless, once whilst in church, I had thought it must have been awesome to have been around Jesus and seen everything He said and did.

Also, two verses noticed in my mother’s Sunday Missal stuck in my mind and, although buried in the unconscious, they never got forgotten. One was Jesus telling his disciples they’d do even greater works than He was doing! The other was by someone who’d seen and been with Jesus, and who wrote: If everything He’d done was written down there wouldn’t be enough room in the world to contain the books! [John 14:12 and closing sentence of that Gospel.]

In view of that eye-witness account and churches’ misrepresentation of their founder, I became convinced a lot of what he’d taught had been lost – or even suppressed – by the early church. Continue reading →

Rallying Calls to Prayer – 3: examples of personal strategies

Again quoting The Rallying Cry to Prayer, “We believe that as we step out in faith – the Lord will give us the strategies – not just to know how to hear the warnings of what the enemy plans to do – but more than that, He will speak to us from heaven showing the counter-attacks we are to use. So whenever there is a warning coming to us; “Seek me” says the Lord “And I will show you the strategy to stop it.” Indeed we believe the Lord is saying, “I will show you how to do it.”  He knows we are not yet alive as He would want us to be and we probably know that in our heart of hearts too. All this is about to change!”

Let’s look at a couple of strategies that arose during personal prayers.

Suffocation/Strangulation

A prayer partner emailed me in early July, and has kindly permitted publication of her text:

“I have continued to pray for the Kingdom, particularly since the Brexit vote. I know a very few people who support it and many I know are viciously Remain, many clergy particularly. As we moved to the vote I sensed I was to set a large candle alongside a cross, light the candle and pray the Lord’s will. The candle burned day and night for a week and only as the vote Brexit was won did the light from the candle fall on the top of the cross. I knew it was the Lord’s will!

“The tentacles seen prophetically will be cut off so freeing this nation from strangulation, a couple have already shriveled…”

“On a recent journey down the M6/M5 my eye was taken by the, now prolific, Japanese Knotweed on motorway embankments. Some areas the native plants are completed covered, even shrouded and probably unable to withstand the suffocation/strangulation. A sad sight and one that continues to inform my prayers. This I’m prompted to write to you about as this seems to be an example in nature of the spiritual challenges of our times.”

After re-publishing the Cryers’ call to prayer I replied, “The symbolism of the knotweed encapsulates failure within government to progress Brexit properly and expeditiously. It seems to be appropriate as a subject of prayer in response to the invitation I blogged this morning. My reaction is to pray that it be severed with invisible scissors…”

However, upon pausing a while a strategy seemed to pop into mind, so I continued, “It would be better for the Lord’s hand to touch and remove it all, as though rubbing it out of existence!”

I heard that the ‘knotweed’ symbolism gave direction to her prayers because it relates to her personal situation. She writes, “Please use and share this illustration, I sense it is the Lord’s image. I will pray for complete removal, as I do our removal from Europe’s strangulation.”

Holy Fear and Terror of the Lord

You may have noted that three of last week’s posts linked to Revd Gavin Ashenden’s strong denunciation of the apostasy publicly pronounced and exhibited by the Dean of Ely Cathedral in flying a rainbow flag from the tower for the weekend’s Pride event.

Most unusually I was awoken early Saturday morning and recalled that offensive action and, rather than being annoyed, asked the Lord about how I could pray. I was reminded of Wanda Alger’s recent excellent re-posting of a dream in which she saw the awesome power of Holy Spirit moving across the world in a focused beam bringing the reverential fear of the Lord (read Holy Fear and Terror of the Lord).

I recalled that had happened to me on the fateful night of the Lord’s visitation in 1989, and that intense conviction of my personal sin had resulted in the immense blessing of my salvation. Therefore, I could pray for the Lord to bless Mark Bonney and his ilk the same way He did when He turned up in my life.

Lord, may Your Holiness fall upon the dean, clergy, residents of and visitors to Ely and bring them to true repentance for Your glory’s sake, Amen.

Brexit-EU battles follow Bible history and prophecy – 2: ‘spirit of Herod’ exposed in church

Readers unfamiliar with this topic are advised to read the first part for background info before joining our analysis of this unholy spirit’s other main influence, namely

OVER THE CHURCH:

‘Church’ in the ‘Fox’ prophecy’s context presumably means the Anglicans, or Church of England, because its bishops sit as ‘Lords Spiritual’ in Parliament’s upper chamber, the House of Lords, thereby becoming involved with the government’s legislative process; as well as in furthering or hindering The Lord’s desire in Britain’s severing ties with the EU. Peers elevated to the Lords as a political honour – many with large EU pensions – together with Anglican bishops, thwarted the EU Withdrawal Bill from becoming British law by defeating the government 14 times!! (read report together with Cranmer’s opinion here).

We’d expect, however, this spirit of Herod’s hidden influence to become increasingly observed because the Lord’s promise “to uncover, expose and bring to light the works of wickedness and witchcraft in the land”. Also according to this word, He will cause “those who have dishonoured Me and who have turned away and rebelled against My plans and purposes in the Nation…to be stripped naked and paraded out in the open before all men“ – thus, in their exposure and no longer remaining hidden and operating deceitfully, knowledge of their deeds will become public!

That the Lord’s already working on this behind the scenes was suspected a few years ago in A Passing Thought Becomes Fulfilled Prophecy, with examples reviewed here.

Over the last two years a number of Anglican bishops have spoken out strongly against Brexit, as reported by religio-political blogger Archbishop Cranmer (see ‘Bishops’ tag). The latest noted is the Bishop of Leeds, Nick Baines; but that diocese is now reported in The Guardian as being in a “serious financial crisis”!

Cranmer and contributors, therefore, wax satirical in last week’s post; whereas, knowing of that prophetic word on the intrusive spirit of Herod, I simply ask, “Could the Hand of the Lord be in this financial ‘crisis’ to expose and shake what’s not of Him?”

And now, Revd Gavin Ashenden exposes the ungodliness within the Church of England in its longstanding cover-up of abuse and bullying in addition to the introduction of false doctrine.

In Cover Up and Abuse in and by the Church – Corruption in the CoE he concludes,

‘Institutional bullying, cover-up and the abuse of power are unspeakably corrupt and damaging. If the Church can’t hold its own bullying bishops to account to tell the truth, it should not be surprised if the state and the public try.

‘But the Church of England is already in deep trouble. Many of its members are abandoning it in protest about its own abandonment of Jesus’s teaching about gender and marriage. Dependent on its members to remain solvent, it may find that they decline to subsidise what amounts to an exercise in institutional sado-masochsim. They may decline to pay to be bullied and lied to, by many, some, or even any its bishops.’

Keep watching and praying…

THE GOOD NEWS

Despite all the political aggravation it’s clearly implicit that a massive spiritual dynamic is well underway from heaven and that satan is pulling out all the stops to prevent it – no doubt it sees its future in the Lake of Fire beckoning over the horizon!

Just look at the marvelous goal implied in the prophetic promise for both the country and the Church, as bought by Veronika, as the explanation for why the spirit of Herod is manifesting today.:

“(It) comes at a time when a people, nation or individual is about to reach full maturity, growth, purpose and Destiny. The Spirit of Herod hates anything good or godly, this treacherous spirit seeks only to kill and destroy destinies that are on the verge of blooming.” (emphases mine)

Nina and I are particularly blessed to attend a local parish church and a healing centre where the leaders are Holy Spirit-filled and led by Him and keen for Father’s will to be done in our patch of earth – Thy Kingdom Come!

Now Is The Time

In his upbeat editorial on The Future of Christianity Clifford Hill writes there’s a new openness to religious belief among young people, and so he concludes:

‘This is the challenge to Christians in Britain today: there is an incredible window of opportunity for evangelism, particularly during this time of political and social upheaval due to the Brexit negotiations. Many young people are trying to understand what’s going on in the nation: this is our opportunity to talk about social values, ethical principles and religious beliefs.

‘Now is the time to talk about the future of Britain outside the European Union. It is the time to talk about the history of Europe, the secularisation of the EU, and the whole subject of values and beliefs. It is the time to talk about the ultimate truths presented in the Bible and the basis of our Christian faith which transforms lives.’

Yes indeed!

Bible Update: 2Thess 2 – Apostasy within ‘churches’ (Signs Nos 6, 15 & 19)

Now we know what ‘Signs’ we’re watching out for, here’s a couple that are happening nowadays and, regrettably, in too many churches:

  • falling away from faith (2Thess 2:3 – Sign #15)by
  • the unrighteous deception (2Thess 2:10 – Sign #19)

Moreover, Sign #6 (Mark 13:8, 12-13) too is appearing as ‘brethren’ in the faith are acting against brethren. Eg., self-styled brothers/sisters in lgbt ‘church’ in Blackpool seeking to ban evangelist Franklin Graham from entering Britain – utterly outrageous!

None of those false brethren have ever done what this renowned Christian and his charity Samaritan’s Purse have done across the world in implementing Sign #1: eg. opening up communist North Vietnam in being officially welcomed by government officials in Hanoi, where he’s preached the gospel to hundreds of churches there!

In Jesus’ apocalyptic letter to the 7 churches in Asia Minor, He spoke of His “hatred of the deeds of the Nicolatians”, a group claiming superior status that permitted idolatry and sexual immorality in Ephesus (Rev 2:6) and especially in Pergamos (Rev 2:14-15); and in Thyatira a Jezebel operated (Rev 2:20-21) where, unless they repented, Jesus would deal direct and severely with their sinfulness!

As sexual sins were sin then, then they’re sin today! Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to realise that leaders/attendees of churches who condone, encourage and practise such sins today are in the very same situation and need to repent earnestly.. In perverting the apostolic and traditional teaching on sexuality and claiming superior ‘moral’ authority to do so, they’re no different to the heretics and gnostics with whom the early church was in deep dispute. (I was involved in all that before being saved – “I’m Free!” refers.)

By Victoria Jones/PAIn needing to Pray for the Pope to Take a Stand upon the Bible, we should include the Archbishops of Canterbury and York too. (In fact, I nearly included ‘and all clergy’ in that title but it was entirely about Pope Francis and Jerusalem.)

2017 saw Archbishop Justin Welby’s standing enter into deep decline as a result of his inability to give satisfactory answers to interview questions and deal with transgender issues. For example, he was taken to task by Rev Dr Gavin Ashenden in Justin Welby Unable to Give a ‘Straight Answer’ on Whether Gay Sex is Sinful.

Furthermore, a HUGE furor is now brewing over his handling of a past Anglican court’s inquiry into an unsubstantiated claim of abuse against the revered, deceased Bishop of Chichester, Dr George Bell.

Gavin opens his latest in this ‘sexuality saga’, Welby’s Will-to-Power: Pride & Ego – Sanity & Sanctity in the Saga of George Bell:

‘The facts are on the whole well known. Lord Carlile, having been forbidden by his terms of reference to judge the innocence or guilt of poor Bishop Bell, did allow himself to tell the world that Bell would never have been found guilty in a court of law. (Mail Online columnist) Peter Hitchens was almost apoplectic with surprise and frustration at Welby’s intransigence…’

His deep experience gives Gavin perspicacity of insight for analysing the situation. His careful, well-considered exposition is bang on target and thus comes with my high commendation to my readers. In particular, Gavin observes that Safeguarding policies bring a negative, political effect and he considers the real issue in this saga is that of pride and corruption of power.:

‘So, what does it mean when the Archbishop says “I cannot with integrity rescind my statement”? He has at best muddled himself. He is in the grip of what appears to be both a serious sin and a psychological distortion.

‘At some point, he has conflated what he thinks is right with the notion of his integrity. He has convinced himself, having fallen victim to pride, that since what he thinks is right must be right, it is his ‘integrity’ that is at stake when he is challenged.

‘But what the challenge to his opinion has done, in fact, is to expose his soul.

‘One might argue in his defence that all that has been exposed is stupidity, because one would have to be dull in mind not to weigh up the evidence and come to the conclusion along with the choristers and the historians and the ecumenists that Bell was innocent. But Welby is not stupid.  In which case one has to ask if he has become proud and obdurate.

‘And the trouble with pride and obduracy is that, if it bites sufficiently deeply, one’s cognitive reasoning can become impaired.

‘What might flow from this?

‘The great danger he is in is that he loses all spiritual and moral authority. He becomes a hollow figure of religion, rather than an authentic spiritual leader and inspiration…’ (emphasis added).

Gavin concludes his observations:

‘Perhaps he might be firstly warned by the words of Jesus,: “Whoever wants to save his life, will lose it.” (Matt 16.25)

‘but then encouraged: “For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 14.11.’

The Fear of the Lord #2 – God will separate Holy from unholy and the Church in UK will shine

Thank and praise the Lord for this rapid answer to my concerns and prayers relating to perversion and witchcraft in the church, eg. as covered in Voice For Justice’s Petition – have you too signed yet?

GOD WILL SEPARATE THE HOLY FROM THE UNHOLY AND THE CHURCH WILL SHINE WITH A NEW LIGHT AND PASSION

The days are coming when God will separate again black from white, and sweet from salty. And He will not tolerate the grey or bluish anymore.

“Because I am Holy I will separate again the darkness from the light as I did in the Beginning. Yes I will do it again in the hearts of My People and they will shine again in this nation.

“The enemy tried to mix the colours to make grey; he tried to destroy the borders between My holy people, My church, and the standards of this world. But he will not succeed. My Word will not come back to Me without fulfilling My will. My light overcomes the darkness and always will.

“I will raise the standards in My people and I will give them a new passion for, and understanding of My Holiness. And My Glory will start to be tangible again in this nation. I will put the borders between holiness and unholiness. I will draw the line between righteousness and unrighteousness. I will separate my holy people from the depravity of this world and will burn their hearts with fire.

“I will marry again My Truth and My Love in the hearts of My people. And they will be delivered from the deception of sin, from the perversion and the corruption of the spirit working in this world. I will make them brave again to live in Love and Truth without shame or fear.”

Then God showed me that He will expose the false love of this world which tries to copy His love; but it can’t because showing and talking love without Truth is hypocrisy/fake, and showing and talking the Truth without love is vain/lying. Both lead to deception.

“My true Love and My true Truth are One,” says the Lord. “United; they Walk together and are Connected together.

“No one can separate them because no one can separate Me. I Am the Truth and I Am the Love. No one can separate Me nor split Me. I will lift up the robe of the great harlot to expose her lies. I will lift the veil which covers the eyes and hearts of My people in this nation and I will free them from her perversion.

“My Church will shine again with a new light and passion, and My Glory will fill again the temples of this nation and everyone will see the Power of My Kingdom. Yes! I will restore the Power of Kingdom and Authenticity of My Truth and Love and I will again separate the Holy from the unholy. And there will be no doubt about it,” says the Lord.

Coalition For Marriage reports Places of Worship Say ‘No’ to Same-Sex Marriage – ‘In a speech in Moscow the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has said that “same-sex marriage, or as it is called in law Equal marriage” was seen by “70-90% of people” in the UK as “acceptable and unchallengeable.”

‘This is not true. The most recent British Social Attitudes report found that less than two thirds of the general public say that same-sex relationships are “not wrong at all” and only 55% of Anglicans. The most recent ComRes poll for the BBC on the issue found that in 2014 one in five Britons (22%) would refuse to attend a same-sex wedding if invited….’

The Fear of the Lord #1 – Sword of the Spirit’s Separation Time

Further to my thoughts and prayers over the grave issue of the censorship Petition and the Lord’s desiring us to ask for “the revival of the holy, reverential fear of God”, as well as my having experienced that as a foretaste of His return, we consider a few prophetic words of direct relevance to this vital topic; the first of which was received when I posted Emma Stark’s video on deep disarray in the devil’s domain.:

THE DOUBLE-EDGED TIP OF THE SWORD – A TIME OF SEPARATION

‘A few weeks ago during our regular prayer meeting on a Tuesday night at Hastings 24-7 Prayer, I saw (with my spiritual eyes) the tip of a double-edged sword, and it was moving forward slowly, very sharp, cutting and separating as it moved. The scripture that came to mind was Hebrews 4:12 – ‘For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.’

‘This is a very critical point in time where God, by the power of His living and active Spirit-Word which proceeds from His mouth (and which we are to echo!), is beginning to cut through the body of Christ, making a separation between those believers that are soul-led, and those that are Spirit-led.

‘I felt that the two edges of the tip of the sword represented the true ministry of the apostolic and prophetic, and that the prophetic was twinned with the pure, undiluted truth of God, and the apostolic was twinned with the love of God to implement the prophetic expression of the desire of God for His people, Jesus’ bride-to-be.

‘As this word stayed with me over the last weeks and as I kept pondering it, I saw that the sword tip also symbolised the alpha, and the handle of the sword the omega of God, and that the moving-forward and completion of this process of separation through His (S)word would accomplish from beginning to end the full revealing of His will and nature in the earth.

‘As our society is rocked by many political issues, and as and our standards and values are polluted more and more by the influx of immorality, the calling into question of the very nature and identity of humanity in the image of God (sexual expression without borders, LGBT, abortion, euthanasia) along with the uprooting of the eternal principles of the Word of God, the Body of Christ is heavily influenced by this move, and many individual Christians, church groups and even whole denominations are pulled into darkness.

‘This is an urgent call from the Lord to His people to make a choice now as His double-edged (S)word moves forward. The fence is no longer a safe place. Lukewarmness will no longer be comfortable or sustainable. Those who choose to remain in the grey zone will be cut off, separated from the holy Kingdom of Light. The Lord is not doing this out of anger but out of the purity of His love: “He sent out his word and healed them, he rescued them from the grave.” Psalm 107:20. This process is meant to completely separate us from everything that is death so we can be fully filled with His eternal life!

‘As this process continues, let us search ourselves and pray for ourselves first, so God will find us as people who are led by His Spirit, faithful to His Word, fully standing in His Light. We are not to point fingers at other Christians or churches or denominations in this process as the Lord begins with us first! But let us also pray for the body of Christ, for people to choose well at this critical time, and not to be drawn into darkness with the rest of the world.

‘For those who do not want to choose, the relentless pull of darkness will be too strong to resist; they will not have the Holy Spirit-infused power to stand as they have depended on their soulish desires and prompts for too long. May God have great mercy on those who are undecided as the time to choose is becoming very short now.

  • Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
  • Ezekiel 34:17 “As for you, My flock,” thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats.”
  • Matthew 13:49 “So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous…”
  • James 4:4 ‘You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.’
  • Romans 8:7 ‘…because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s Law, nor can it do so.’
  • 2 Corinthians 6:17 “Come out from them and be separate”, says the Lord. “Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
  • Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
  • Romans 13:12 ‘The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light.’
  • Isaiah 35:8 ‘And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.’
  • 1 Peter 1:16 ‘For it is written, You must be holy, because I am holy.’
  • Romans 8:14 ‘For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.’
  • 2 Corinthians 11:2 ‘For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband–Christ.’

Petition for censure and removal of provost Kelvin Holdsworth for calling for SSM prayer

Here’s the most spiritually and morally offensive issue that I’ve ever come across – it’s tantamount to telling Christians to practise witchcraft!! 

Voice for Justice UK are calling upon Christians and others to petition the Archbishop of Canterbury, and I strongly urge and encourage you to join me in signing:

‘Voice for Justice has issued the following request to petition for the immediate censure and removal from office of ‘Very Rev’ Kelvin Holdsworth, Senior Anglican Minister Kelvin Holdsworth, homosexual Provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. He calls for Christians to pray for Prince George to be gay, in order to force the Church of England to support same-sex marriage.

‘He reportedly said that if the future monarch and supreme head of the Church of England was himself gay, and wanted a same-sex marriage, ‘it would be the fastest way to force the Church of England to allow gay people to wed’ (click Independent for report).

‘Under pressure from secular and LGBT activists, the modern cultural climate already draws no distinction between heterosexual and homosexual orientation. But, while affirming the right to freedom of choice for all, we respectfully point out that the Bible, on which the Church is founded, is clear in prohibiting all forms of homosexuality as a sin.

‘The message of the Bible is, and always has been, clear: God unreservedly loves the sinner, but hates sin.

‘The approval and normalization of what in the Bible is branded sin is, therefore, a betrayal of faith. More disturbingly, imploring people to pray along the lines advocated by Provost Holdsworth, calling for an individual to embrace a life of sin, amounts to a curse.

‘Condemnation of sin, while unreservedly loving the sinner, is at the heart of the Christian Gospel, and the reason why Christ was crucified – taking upon himself our sin in order to free us from the hold of the devil (eternal death) and restore us to right relationship with God (eternal Life). At no point did Christ say that sin did not matter.

‘All of us are sinners, and all of us stand in need of the grace of God, made available in Christ. Attempting to rewrite the Bible, or rebrand ‘sin’ as good serves only to lock the sinner into a destructive pattern of behaviour that by definition cannot bring happiness and that separates the individual from God, leading to eternal death.

‘We call for the Church of England to reaffirm its adherence to traditional Christian doctrine, as set down in the Bible, and for the immediate removal from office of Provost Holdsworth.

Wake up Welby! Reform may be on the way…

Oh that the angelic ‘Reformer’ referred to in the previous post would quickly come and strike some spiritual sense into the Church of England’s entire leadership!

As expected, Dr Adrian Hilton, known under the pseudonym of 16th Century reformer ‘Archbishop Cranmer’, responds to the weekend television’s Robert Peston interview in Welby: “I really, genuinely do not understand” Christian support for Trump.:

‘The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was interviewed by Robert Peston on Sunday. He spoke about the British economic model, economic justice, investment, skills, apprenticeships, automation, robotics, AI, equality for all, food-banks, housing, Brexit, Northern Ireland, trade, unionist identity, the Good Friday Agreement, public enemies, and media headlines which stir up hate and division.

‘Before you kick him, he also spoke about Jesus’s command to care for and love the poor, the judgment of the Old Testament prophets, the need to build communities by loving one another, and the imperative of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.

‘So far, so good.

‘Then Peston mused about the “amazing support” which Donald Trump has from Christians in America. “Do you understand why fundamentalist Christians in America are so supportive of Donald Trump?” he asked the beaming Archbishop.

‘Rabbit…. headlights…

“There’s two things going through my mind,” Welby cogitated. “Do I say what I think, or do I say what I should say? And I’m going to say what I think.”

‘Marvellous, thought the ‘Peston on Sunday’ producers, as they contemplated the imminent Twitter storm and media furore.

‘Marvellous, thought Christians everywhere: the transparency, integrity, honesty of the man. What a breath of fresh air.

‘And then it comes: “No, I don’t understand it. I really, genuinely, do not understand where that is coming from,” said the Archbishop, speaking exactly as he thought.

‘There was a bit of rambling before Peston reprised: “But the fundamental point is that you don’t understand why the fundamentalist Christians in America seem to regard him as being the answer.”

‘The Archbishop raised his hands, more in bemusement than blessing. “No,” he said, “But then… I mean, you look… you look at the situation… maybe they felt… I don’t know… I just have… I don’t understand it, is the simple answer.”

‘But the odd thing is he went on to provide an answer in the very minute following. Peston asked the Archbishop: “How important is truth in politics?”

My deep desire is to avoid divisiveness and so, for other than indirect references in my coverage of the apostasy of the Anglican Synod last July, I’ve refrained from blogging about this brother-in-Christ’s personal frailties. Secular and Christian media have covered those all-too-spectacular issues of Welby’s acceptance of SSM as well as remarks on transgender issues in schoolchildren – not to mention the consequential surrender to parental censorship of Christian teaching in C of E schools (as here)!!

However, in his ignorance of a matter important to Christians over ‘the Pond’, some of whom are regular readers this blog, and because of my frequent coverage of our spiritual linkage then it’s incumbent on me to comment on this issue. So, by way of informing readers of ‘Cranmer’ I submitted this on Justin Welby’s bewilderment over American Christians and president Trump.

‘DOH!’ – my reaction to his comment; or maybe that should have been Justin’s response rather than utter befuddlement! It wasn’t surprising in view of his inability under interrogation to refer to basic Biblical teaching on sexuality, or on childhood gender confusion.

‘I’m not standing in judgement of either brother-in-Christ – one a British AofC, the other an American ‘sanctification-work in progress’ but appointed by God for ‘such a time of this’. In keeping an eye on the spiritual ‘Bridge o’er Pond’ I’m simply offering an explanation of Justin Welby’s lack of knowledge and understanding.:

‘As oft-said herein, very few in the Anglican hierarchy know the mind of our Father or they’d appreciate prophecy; not only what the Bible foretells about today but also as brought by modern-day prophets. Hence, the cluelessness about Brexit and Trump! Moreover, in allowing the CofE’s move into apostasy, it’s no wonder Justin cannot think like our American brethren do – especially in their adherence to basic Biblical belief, repudiation of Replacement Theology and their consequential, associated support for the state Israel.

‘As one example, I cite the panic Reuter’s film crew experienced in Detroit on 4 Sept 2016 after Trump not only received a standing ovation at a black church and praise from its Afro-American bishop, but also was given and wore(!) a tallit (Hebrew prayer shawl), a Jewish Bible and offered his prayers – the crew were told to cut the feed!!! ‘Trump’s personal appreciation of Israel and energetic emphasis upon returning the US to the role of ally unquestionably plays a HUGE part in wide Christian support for this radical president.’

(I later point out that Trump and his diplomatic team may come unstuck if they wish to continue previous administrations’ mistakes of encouraging division of the ‘holy land’ – William Koenig covers this in-depth in his weekly bulletins from the White House.)

Fellow Cranmer readers offered other sound reasons for Christians supporting Donald Trump as president of the USA.

We need to pray for Archbishop Justin Welby…and for the reformation indicated in Dr Theresa Phillips’ vision!

On the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, with Martin Luther nailing the 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church, Anglicans nailed (or tacked) a similar protesting document to the doors of five Church of England cathedrals. Leaders in the movement told PJ Media they intend to push the Church of England back to the Bible and against a “secular” form of “soft socialism.”

“These postings of the Southwark Declaration represent a grassroots protest amongst both the orthodox laity and the clergy against the complacent selling-out of the Church of England to the current secular zeitgeist in the name of progressive Christianity,” Gavin Ashenden, a missionary bishop to England who rejected his ordination in the Church of England (and his position as special bishop to Queen Elizabeth II) this year, told PJ Media.

Having resigned from ministry in the Anglican communion Gavin’s incisive analysis cuts close to the ‘bone’. His wise opinion, and closing dream and vision, confirm the validity of a recent prophetic word and vision of pruning of CofE’s deadwood, and my earlier conversational piece about the SSM Bill. It’s exactly as Jesus foretold about these End-times being like the Days of Noah and of Lot!

Jesus said,

“ If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” (Mk 3.25).

There are at least two ways of doing theology; one primarily as a rational and intellectual act, and one by discernment of the Spirit.

Our Enlightenment traditions are very comfortable with the first, but Churches that look to the Holy Spirit rather than the nous or the human mind, need to be able to exercise the gift of the Holy Spirit called in the New Testament, ‘discernment.’

This is an exercise not in the cerebralness of rationality, of which we have had a great deal, but in spiritual discernment; which can only be done by the twice-born, and…
