End-times Great Apostasy in Rome; pope versus the faithful

Further to the two-part report on papal apostasy confirmed by a sign from heaven on the pope’s birthday, when lightning struck a statue of Saint Peter at a Catholic church near his home diocese Buenos Aires, the co-founder and CEO of LifeSiteNews John-Henry Western writes a profound, shocking short paper upon more proof of the pontiff’s heretical leanings:

It is a veritable ‘must-read’ about the pope’s strong support of abortion (child sacrifices to the false-god Molech) and thus empowering so-called Catholic Biden to threaten US Supreme Court Justices attending his abysmal speech on the disastrous state of the Union (click image to read and watch clip):

End-times Great Apostasy in Rome confirmed by sign from heaven! – Part 2

Continued from Part 1, and in case you may have missed comments by Tony thereon he prefaces them; “Because of the nature of the vision I would ask that all who read it take it to the Lord in prayer and see what He speaks to your heart.”  The first has a similar theme to the statue struck by lightning (hence my underscoring):

A READER’S NIGHT VISIONS

11 Mar 2018 –  Doorway of Evil Opened

I had a vision yesterday where I saw the current pope. He was in a room by himself and what would seem a room only he knew about. There was a large door in the room in front of him. I noticed that he had a large gnarly-looking skeleton key in his right hand. I watched as he used it to open this door and when he did I saw many demonic beings fly out.

10 Jan 2016 – The Roman Church

“I had a dream 01/10/16 where I saw, who I believe to be, the current Pope. He wasn’t standing addressing the crowds as I’ve seen on many occasions; instead, he was seated on the Papal throne. The throne was at the top of St Peters Basilica with the Pope seated upon it. Then I saw the building begin to implode with the Pope and his throne disappearing first within the building so that he disappeared from view. Then the building itself began to crumble in upon itself until there was nothing left. I don’t remember seeing rubble from the collapse of the building.”

EXPLOSIVE FURORE!

The document Francis issued the day after his birthday 6 weeks ago today, and on which lightning struck and broke off the keys held in the right-hand of a statue of St Peter near the pope’s home in Argentina, as reported in Part 1, brought immense indignation globally – on top of preceding Vatican actions against, even censorship of, priests and bishops. Archbishop Vignano, on whom I’ve blogged many times, isn’t alone but may be the most outspoken on this latest issue:

Archbishop Viganò Calls for Swiss Guards to Arrest Pope Francis and Cardinal Responsible for Pornograhic Book

A GOD-INCIDENCE!

Moreover, please note, I never expected it to have personal relevance to my Roman Catholic upbringing, as recounted in “You shouldn’t be at our school!”, together with a recent insight on my birth gained at the Nativity service played by children at 3Counties Vineyard church. SO, I had plenty to brood upon, but more was yet to come.

A fortnight ago, a brother at church told me about having a poignant dream on New Year’s Eve and I agreed it’s possibly of especial import because of the date. I was reminded of when Pope Benedict died on New Years’s Eve 2023 being most significant. So I mentioned the great upheaval that’s being happening in that church, as indicated in my posts about Pope Benedict.

On the intervening weekend I was very surprised to receive a message from Laszlo, a neighbour who knows we attend a church but who’s unaware of my blogging, and wherein he asks, “Hi Richard, please listen to this. What do you think?”

In my investigations into prophecy since learning about a visionary’s warning fifty years ago to President John Kennedy not to visit Dallas I came across the accounts in 1917 of some children in Portugal being astonished to have apparitions in which Jesus’ mother Mary gave them prophetic messages. Being concurrent with the Russian Revolution she requested prayers for the conversion of Russia and its return to the Christian fold.

Therefore, it’s not being an unfamiliar topic I found the half-hour video easy to follow and took particular note of how the narrator gives an intriguing nuance into the first four verses of Paul’s Second Letter to the Thessalonians and the Son of Perdition being seated on Peter’s throne! – for reference: BibleGateway’s Douay-Rheims version.

End-times Great Apostasy in Rome confirmed by a sign from heaven! – Part 1

Just can’t resist mixing metaphors of a lightning strike having supra-natural after-strikes like snowing jigsaw pieces!  I’d intended blogging this news quickly after posting on Richard’s Watch Telegram on Thursday 4th January but a long weekend intervened – and then more was to follow (in Part 2). Not for the first time does delayed blogging actually slot into what the Lord is doing! (Hence a hint at Part 2!!)

LIGHTNING STRIKES St PETER STATUE

‘Multiple journalism outlets have confirmed that lightning demolished the keys and blessing hand of a statue of St. Peter in Argentina on December 17, Pope Francis’ birthday and the day before the publication of the Vatican document Fiducia Supplicans endorsing homosexual “blessings.”

COUPLE OF CONTEMPORARY PROPHECIES

Veronika WestUpdate on The Beginnings of Sorrows For Nations ,18 Sept 2022 closes:

“…See!  For The Nations shall yet be shaken in a greater way in the days ahead, and for those who think they are infallible and untouchable, shall suddenly fall and never recover!

I say, look to what will take place in Rome in the days ahead!

Yes Rome!  For the head of the serpent spirit shall be cut off, and all its demonic tentacles shall be fully exposed for the eyes of the world to see.

For when My Stone of Retribution flies, giants will fall, and when My Sword of Justice falls, heads will roll, for great will be their fall, in the fall that is to come!”

Chris Reed Praying for 2024 and Beyond, 17 Jan 2024

On February 16, 2019, I saw a devastating earthquake hit the nation of Italy. It was a sign of the shaking happening in Rome and the Vatican. I share this now because I believe this will be the year. The time the earthquake happens will be close to the time this shaking happens in the Roman Catholic Church. This should not surprise us given that the current pope just gave priests and bishops the right to bless same-sex couples. This physical shaking will be a sign of institutional shaking.

End-times Great Apostasy – making God in our image!

This is one of the two aspects of this matter on my mind when I was blessed with the insight of God’s Word being His ‘Battle-Plan’. Revd Franklin Graham remarks about it on his Facebook as follows (emphases and linkage mine):

‘The Methodist Church in the United Kingdom has released its own “Inclusive Church Language Guide” that urges ministers and church-goers to avoid using words such as “husband” and wife” (and more) because those terms can be “hurtful” and “offensive.” Shame on the Methodist Church. These are Biblical terms—and marriage between a man and a woman is Biblical truth. The word “wife” is used in some 360 verses in 38 books of the Bible. They are in essence trying to edit what the Word of God says and teaches to be more appealing to the changing whims of culture. We are warned against that in Scripture. As Christians, we aren’t called to avoid what might offend people—we are called to share the Truth of God’s Word that can guide and direct us through every step of life.’

UN-BIBLICAL ‘BLESSINGS’

Let us not forget that in 2021 this body voted by 254 to 46 to allow same-sex marriages, requiring a change to the definition of marriage to be “a lifelong union in body, mind and spirit of two people who freely enter it”.  This is completely contrary to and at odds with what the saintly founder of Methodism, Charles Wesley, taught – and is utter heresy! Key verse on God’s plans, including apostasy and election integrity!

Eagle-eyed by John Mark Long: courtesy http://www.propheticartists.com

In figuratively circling like an eagle, eyes fixed upon a prey’s position and activity, my mind’s been upon the focus of this week’s opening posts. I was nudged upon “Seek first the Kingdom” and news prompted frequent ruminations upon apostasy and election integrity.

NEXT, just like this morning’s GPS God-incidence, the Lord had Chris G Bennett write on the very same topics, even asking, “Have you ever had a look at this?”…apostasy!!

Soon after waking yesterday I mulled over with the Lord my intended next postings on apostasy. A notion sprang to mind and was amazed to get confirmation in Verse of the Day, which I checked before we got on with our day’s business, viz:

Upon reading this Verse I believe the Lord is saying this is KEY in HIS ‘BATTLE PLAN’ for the salvation of humanity, as outlined in the Best Instructions Before Leaving Earth, especially in correcting our falling prey to satan’s schemes to twist human sexuality.

So I read through the whole of Jesus’ lead-apostle’s letter to early believers dispersed northwards out of Jerusalem and Judea into Asia Minor.

Upon returning home later, as it’s quick and easy, I posted that image and thought onto the blog’s Telegram to start any news items for Wednesday. Then, I added (emphases mine):

1 > “So I read through Peter’s letter and pray it soaks into me, and found another verse (1 Peter 5:8) confirming that impression:

‘Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.’

2 > “Also, 1 Peter 4:17 applies to apostasy:

‘For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?’

3 > [On Chris Moyler’s channel I remark] “LOLOL am only now catching up and find Chris, you’ve used a word that came to mind upon my waking up 5 hours ago!! So I’d better forward my Tgm items.”

4 > [On mine I insert his short videos then this, noting his references to ‘Battle’..]

5 > “SO GOD MADE TRUMP!

To outsiders, it could easily appear that those of us who support President Trump worship him in an idolatrous way. But nothing could be further from the truth.

We actually believe that God raised up this man as a world-class leader for those who desire good government and who desire the destruction of the Luciferian Global Cabal who have hijacked our governments.

This Cabal has one desire – to enslave all mankind in order to enrich themselves, reducing all of us to a feudal system of masters, serfs and slaves, and disposing of the unwanted.

Therefore, we support those who will expose and bring down this Cabal.

The Bible is very clear that Our Creator will not rest until evil is removed from the entire earth, and he sent his Son, Our LORD Jesus Christ to make this a reality.

He is the One whom we worship, and he calls men and women everywhere to join him in his battle for life and for truth.

So, when we see men and women who demonstrate by their lives, and not merely their words, that they also are committed to this battle, we warmly support and encourage them, and we cheer them on!

1 John 3:8
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning.  The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

End-times Great Apostasy – confirmed by word from the Lord

I’m delighted to find Chris G Bennett posted this on his Facebook yesterday:

FALLING AWAY

I see one or two prophecies talking about many things being pointers to the end-times. One of the things I don’t see is any reference to the great falling away, or loss of faith, prior to Christ’s return for the rapture or the second coming. The Lord pointed this out to me the other day and said, very simply, “Have you ever had a look at this?”

Only one mention is made in scripture, in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, of this virtually ignored subject. So many either ignore it altogether, or they brush over it and try to pretend it’s of little or no consequence! Yet there it is, in plain sight for us all to see, to mark, note, and inwardly digest.

Here it is –

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.”

One question, simply,

‘Has not the present state of much of the church amply confirmed that “the falling away” has well and truly started and is progressing at an alarming rate?’ So much so, indeed, that many churches are unrecognisable as Christian churches, but rather resemble more as self-righteous glee clubs, full of gossip and other even less sanctified behaviour!

But the Bible tells us that unless this comes first, then other end-time events cannot happen! So God is not surprised nor dismayed nor even appalled as we so often are! He may be sad at the extent of our sin, but never surprised nor dismayed. Another important point to bear in mind – the falling away must happen BEFORE the other end-time events, and there’s never a timeline laid out in biblical prophecy. However, other end-time signs as in Matthew 24 and elsewhere in Thessalonians, all agree in their pointing to this particular time that we’re in today.

The present falling away is unprecedented anywhere in history – the signs are there for all to see – all of which are declared by scripture as being abhorrent before God, an abomination – yet the church daily goes against scripture and Gods law in so many ways!

  • Abortion/child sacrifice
  • Same sex marriage
  • No heaven – no hell
  • L.G.B.T.Q./Trannies
  • Unsaved & unrepentant clergy

False doctrines; e.g. Replacement Theology, Hypergrace, the twisted Word of Faith / Prosperity gospel, the fallacy that women are not speakers or leaders, and more … (I realise this incomplete list may cause contention but – so be it! I don’t want an argument so: Please just scroll on by!)

Even recently, the Methodist Church probably caused Wesley to turn in his grave again when they came out against the term “husband and wife” in favour of “partners”!

So, call the intercessors again! Yes, call the intercessors, and join them too, to wage spiritual war on the false gospel, on the ‘tolerant’ church, on the ‘live and let live’ communities.

We cannot ignore the falling away any longer. It’s not going anywhere unless we do something about it, and if we don’t do something about it, then God will but we will not like it when He does!

I don’t hate anyone, but I hate sin, even though I’m not innocent either. I love all of Gods creation, even the unlovable and hateful ones. All I can do is love and leave the rest to God. As Billy Graham famously said, “It’s God’s job to judge, Holy Spirit’s job to convict, and my job to love!”

CGB

RB: So encouraging after having posted 70 items on this grave issue that the Lord has told a friend to check it out! The primary topic of both Paul’s letter to the Thessalonian church is that of the Lord’s return and Paul spells out what will happen just prior to that dread yet awesome supra-natural event – and God’s permitting and dealing with it all!!

Bible Update: events and human behaviour show End-times are here, as foretold by Apostle Paul

Drawing the previous post to a conclusion with reference to Dr Jan Halper-Hayes’ most important point, as made at the close of her discussion with Steve Schultz, wherein she cites 2 Timothy 3:1, as in this screen-shot, I add “The full chapter describes precisely today’s widespread anti-God wokeness”.

Dr Jan quotes the Amplified Bible translation of Apostle Paul’s letter written about 1,960 years ago, the first verses of which chapter read (emphasis mine):

Difficult Times Will Come”
But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.’  [BibleGateway.com]

My New Spirit-Filled Life Bible defines the Greek ‘chalepos’ as follows and note: ‘The word describes a society that is barren of virtue but abounding with vices‘!

A couple or so years earlier Paul had conveyed to his disciple Timothy what the Holy Spirit had told him prophetically:

‘But the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of ethical functioning]…’

This introductory background clearly foretells today’s great apostasy not only in many main-line denominations but also, according to his announcement this week, by the one who’s supposedly a successor to Apostle Peter presiding in The Vatican, Rome!

The Day of The Lord – today’s verse puts ‘global warming’ in its place!

Holy Writ, as we well know, puts ‘global warming’ mania well and truly ‘in the shade’:

It’s highly appropriate for assessing our placing on the Almighty’s Timeline that we check the lead-in verses at BibleGateway.com (emphases mine):

The Day of the Lord

Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of the ungodly.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance…’ (cont’d in Verse of the Day)

Anglicans’ apostasy is a clear sign Jesus’ Second Advent is getting close!

In ‘Looking for the signs of Jesus’ return’ since hearing “This is ALL about to be fulfilled”, one sign in particular continues to be blatantly obvious: the trans-sexual lobbying across church denominations with offensive flags of incomplete rainbows displayed in churches in support of ‘Pride’!  Most repugnant!

It’s one thing to apologise for the way ‘trans’-people have been treated by churches, but another to bow the knee to their selfish demands, deemed as ‘progressive’.

To any thinking Bible-believer it’s just one part of the fallen one’s strategy of attacking the future Bride of Christ to bring great internal division together with divergence from – as well as twisting! – God-given scripture of the Bible.

That source is as plain as a pikestaff in its usurpation of the sign God gave of His first Covenant with humanity – the seven-coloured rainbow.

Nevertheless, in view of my history I’ve been pleased to find churches of various styles have grown greatly in brotherly appreciation, despite the increasing satanic attacks.

Fallen by being kicked out of heaven, the hater of humanity’s main strategy has been to beguile church leaders into being ‘progressive’ instead of standing firmly upon the Word of God. Such reprobate leaders have led their churches into….

The Great Apostasy

2 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition…

… 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2Thess 2)

That’s New King James Version. The Classical Amplified adds to verse 3 ‘[unless the predicted great [b]falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come]’- footnote [b] ‘A possible rendering of the Greek apostasia is “departure [of the church]“.’

Thus, the foretold falling away doesn’t so much refer to non-churchgoing public turning away from believing in our Father God and Jesus Christ as regular believers choosing to leave behind any belief and deliberately departing from the faith.

In the brief background to my Theological thoughts on salvation and apostasy I refer to ‘lost salvation’ as a topic for Saturday Men’s Bible study. In our online chat and saying the Lord had poked me to blog on it, I added my hope of getting a Deuteronomy 19:15 two-witness confirmation as soon as possible.

Indeed, I thought confirmation emerged with Friday’s news of Justin Welby’s apology for what was wrongly taken as a personal slight by the lead advocate in his Church’s move towards liturgical accommodation of trans-sexuality.

However, the usual personal confirmation was yet to come in Sunday morning’s service. A congregant with top diosecan connections briefed me about the disastrous outcome of last week’s Anglican General Synod.

CORRECT TRANSLATION

In last Thursday’s Theological thoughts on salvation and apostasy I refer to the interlinear Greek translation for ‘Falling away’ but noted a friend heading up Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival had commented upon my Facebook version of the previous day’s Bible Update: ‘Great Apostasy’ of Pope and Anglican leaders.

Geoffrey informs me the Literal Standard Translation of the Bible, a major revision of Robert Young’s Literal translation, posits an alternative “that puts a completely different outlook on this verse and the sequence of the departure (rapture) in future events”. He cites verse 3 as:

“do not let anyone deceive you in any way, because if the departure may not come first, then the man of lawlessness may not be revealed – the son of destruction.”

In my opinion, omitting any reference to ‘apostasia’ (falling away) makes the translation too ambiguous and unclear in what we expect of Holy Spirit-inspired revelation. What’s more, it’s just conjecture because the scriptural prophecy is actually being fulfilled in tandem with verses in other books.

So here’s A E Knock’s Concordant Method interlinear Greek translation, as published by Scripture4All, following this Introduction:

SCHISMATIC GENERAL SYNOD

Now, in catching up with my church friend’s recommended reading from the CEEC (Church of England Evangelical Council) it is abundantly clear the CoE is now moving into DEEP SCHISM

Some CEEC leaders’ comments (emphases mine)

  • “For many in the Church of England a line was crossed this week that we prayed and hoped would not happen.”
  • “We believe these proposals are being pursued without adequate provision and protection for those holding to the biblical, historic and global majority Anglican view on marriage and sexual intimacy. This underlines the failure of leadership by the archbishops and divided House and College of Bishops.”
  • “CEEC regrets that these changes will cause deep division in PCCs and parishes, deaneries and dioceses the length and breadth of the country, in the same way that the Bishops and General Synod are divided.”
  • Above from report of 17th November > https://ceec.info/responding-to-the-15-november-2023-general-synod-decision-looking-forward/
  • Next from report of 12th October https://ceec.info/ceec-welcomes-bishops-dissenting-statement/
  • “It is not very often that bishops from the House of Bishops express their dis-ease at something being proposed by the rest of the House. The statement is significant because of what it says.
  • “First, they name the deep disagreement that exists within the House of Bishops.  To publicly acknowledge the depth of disagreement is significant, given the seismic changes the House of Bishops is pursuing.”

Also, in Premier Christianity’s opinion piece CofE leaders are ‘walking together’ into sin. It’s a bad joke, Chief Executive of the Christian Legal Centre and Christian Concern, Andrea Williams, points out the bishops’ disingenuity

‘It is being widely reported that the Church of England’s governing body, General Synod, has backed trials of services blessing same-sex relationships. The Guardian says “services to celebrate gay marriages could be held within weeks”.

‘The CofE leadership are often at pains to claim that these services – and the prayers within them – only “ask for God’s blessing”, and that they don’t directly bless these relationships or sexual activity within them.

‘This is straight out of the CofE playbook: deceptive language that allows the de- facto approval of sin while pretending they’re not contradicting the Church’s doctrine of marriage. All this nuance is lost within minutes of the vote as media outlets report that these ‘blessings’ are going ahead.’

FOOTNOTE:

This post is an interim update before proceeding with theological thoughts on believers’ possibly losing their salvation, and alternatively to the Lord’s glorious promise of our personal salvation

Theological thoughts on salvation and apostasy.

Time to tackle the theological conundrum of ‘once saved, always saved’ versus ‘falling away’ from faith.

Mulling over first thing with the Lord on today’s blogging I thought about Sunday at 3Counties Vineyard on 1Corinthians 12 and Holy Spirit’s gifts. But upon booting up my phone a message arrived about ‘lost salvation’ as a possible topic for this Saturday’s Men’s Breakfast. (Last weekend was a theological trilogy on Holy Spirit; it comprised that teaching with ministry for the giftings plus Saturday’s double dose of Romans 8 at our breakfast and the Alpha course’s Holy Spirit Away-day.)

Reflecting upon that group’s message about covering a side-issue, once again I got dropped upon from ‘On High’ to write on it! – rather like last Thursday’s jigsaw pieces.

Moreover I was ‘nudged about it being a suitable follow-on to the previous post about major church leaders now implementing apostasy, to the consternation of many laity. (It’s been an ongoing issue ever since launching this blog – 66 posts thus far).

Therefore, I humbly submit the following for consideration:

STUDIOUS DISCUSSIONS

For thirty years men from various churches in Haslemere have enjoyed working our way through various books of the Bible and discussing its verses in depth. In view of Paul’s longest letter being the pinnacle of Christian doctrine, it’s taken us some months to arrive at Romans 8 on Life in the Holy Spirit .

‘There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be [b]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.’ (NKJV, Bible Gateway.com)

Last week, in passing, our study-leader referred to losing salvation. He and I cited Hebrews 6 but others objected and reminded us of the ‘once saved, always saved’ dictum.

This difference of opinion has cropped up a few times recently and this week’s leader undertook some research just in case the group decides to consider it. However, he concludes the wiser option is to adhere to our usual practice of examining the scripture under review.

Yet, how does a divergence of opinion emerge when most of us are well-grounded in The Word?

Furthermore, the ‘scripture confirms scripture’ principle means the whole Bible should be clearly understood; thereby leaving us of one accord!

SCRIPTURE CHECK

Here’s a small selection recommended by one of the group for consideration. Lead-in verses from the New International Version will give the cited verses some context:

John 10:28-29 > 25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[c]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

Philippians 1:6 > 3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39 > 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

FALLING AWAY FROM FAITH IN JESUS

Yet one must ask; if ‘once saved always saved’ is the correct understanding of the Word of God and faith in His Son Jesus Christ, then how come Holy Spirit foretells in 2 Thess 2:4 a specific ‘apostasia’ (literally, ‘from standing’ – Interlinear Greek), which translates as ‘falling away’?
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God…
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.’

In the previous post I particularly stressed verse 11, which should generate a righteous fear of the Lord in everybody!

Also, Paul later instructed his disciple Timothy that “the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons…”

That means not at a contemporary time but at a ‘latter time’ well into the future. However, apostasy began in the first century after Jesus’ life on earth, as attested to or implied by the author of the Book of Hebrews – AND definitely by Jesus’ closest disciple, John.

So, consider carefully Hebrews 6. It opens by saying its addressees have received foundational teaching and so it’s now time to progress: “Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity…”

Note well verse 5:

4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen[c]away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.’

We have tasted God and His Word and know Him to be good, and been given gracious giftings in the Holy Spirit – some even baptised in Him. BUT how many disciples today can operate fully in Holy Spirit’s power? Very, very few!

So the author of the treatise to the Hebrews must be referring to the miracles, signs and wonders of those apostles and disciples who were anointed in power, as described in The Acts of the Apostles. What’s more, that should have continued throughout Church history!

CONCLUSION

In view of the theological nature of this matter, this can be but my initial thoughts, submitted for what they may be worth.

I offer this as a way of indicating how two apparently contradictory understandings may be reconciled because they refer to different situations.

‘Once saved, always saved’ applies to all believers who do not fall into the error of apostasy or heretical belief. Some may even experience the supra-natural powers of the Age to Come,. Those who live in that category but subsequently disobey Jesus and scripture by following demonic doctrines and failing to repent and renounce satan, are the ones for whom salvation is withdrawn. Remember, we are to work out our own salvation in fear and trembling, according to Paul at Philippians 2:12.

Do not overlook what Jesus’ closest disciple writes about the apostates he knew or learned about:

1 John 2:19 > Warnings Against Denying the Son

18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

Maybe John is referring to those who became teachers of Gnosticism, a documented historical heresy, and similar movements in those early centuries in Church history.

Also, Jesus foretells His honouring believers but disowning anyone who disowns Him [Greek ‘amesamenos’ – ‘one-disowning’], which is a deliberate act of disobedience, not one of simple unbelief:
8 “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.” (Luke 12 NIV)

PS. (18.11) To be continued with short posts on apostasy and salvation separately.

Bible Update: ‘Great Apostasy’ of Pope and Anglican leaders

First, let’s remind ourselves what the Holy Spirit told Apostle Paul around 50 and 64 AD, as in his respective letters to the church in Thessalonica and to his disciple Timothy, as in New King James Version (courtesy BibleGateway.com, emphases mine):

2 Thess 2 > Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of [a]Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the  [d]mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only [e]He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.’

NB. Those closing verses should generate a righteous fear of the Lord in everybody!

A prophetic word on “My Church of England” per Ezekiel 16 – Revd Christopher Wickland

Earlier today a notification prompted me to check Christopher Wickland’s Facebook in view of comments arising on the following prophetic word posted yesterday. Although a sad, salutary admonishment, it serves as a ‘coincidental’ confirmation of the second part of my postings on Jesus’ words will never pass away, and which covers the Anglican General Synod under the heading ‘Therefore ditch what He does NOT says!’  (Yet again ‘coincidentally’, my birthday number 22 suggests it’s timely.)

OH MY CHURCH OF ENGLAND (Prophetic Word)

Based on Ezekiel chapter 16

Church of England, I remember the day you were born. You were born from blood, heartache and treachery. You were despised by many at your birth, even in this green and pleasant land. Yet I saw you in your infancy, in your nativity and I took compassion upon you. And when I passed by you and saw you in your blood of birth I said, “Live! Yes I said to you in your blood, “Live!”

I caused you to multiply and grow in strength, in honour and dignity. You grew in stature before Me, you became beautiful and regal in this land. A beautiful Amethyst set in green clover. You were Mine and I was yours. Through you this land was blessed, this land was safe, I was pleased to call you My church. You excelled in your beauty and became the honour of kings, queens and the mighty.

I clothed you with embroidered work and dressed you with fine linen and covered you with silk. I decked you with ornaments and I put bracelets upon your hands and a chain upon your neck. I gave to you the privilege of anointing kings and queens. I bequeathed to you great honour, riches and prestige.

However, in time you trusted in your own beauty and strength. You became proud and pompous and slowly but surely you turned your back on Me. You played the harlot because of your renown. You took the gold, the silver and the jewels I gave you and made for yourself images of men and did commit harlotry. You have set my oil, incense, flesh and blood before a profane altar. You have abandoned Me in pursuit of your own glory instead of promoting Mine.

I have heard your profane prayers, I have seen your abominations and wickedness. You have forsaken Me in your pursuit to hunt down power, influence and lovers. I have to call you what you are, you have become a harlot before Me.

However, there are many who have not defiled and soiled their garments within you, there are many who grieve over you. There are many who have cried, travailed and prayed to Me on your behalf. To those who have remained faithful to Me I say this, “Because of you and your intercessions, I will relent from a full chastisement to the Church of England.” You will see some painful days coming as My chastisement is worked out. I will half her strength and greatly humble her. She will lose her position of honour for a season.

I will leave a remnant, those who love Me, who will not leave her but endure her pains as their own. I will leave her as a stump, but in time she will return to Me and fresh branches will grow and she will again increase in might. I will then turn to her and restore her and will love her again and be pleased to call her My church.

For thus says Adonai, the LORD, I shall deal with you as you have done, you who have despised the oath you took before Me. Nevertheless I shall remember the oath sworn by those previous and I will remember you and look kindly upon you as I did at your nativity. I will remain faithful to those who have remained faithful to Me.

Finally to My faithful, be strong, be courageous and endure the chastisement, set your faces like flint and look for the joy set before you. You will see the harlot become true again and I promise to restore her and be pleased to call her My own in the days ahead.

RB Footnotes:
  • A cleric reminds Christopher of Jesus’ instruction to avoid judging and thus first remove the plank from one’s eye (Matt 7). I note “We are to correct our brethren who fall into apostasy, are we not?” (Am not one for citing verses but recall ‘All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness’ – 2 Tim 3:16 – and this prophecy is based upon Ezekiel 16, ‘Jerusalem as an Adulterous Wife’; NIV)
  • Personally, although brought up in Catholic church my heart is for ALL churches to follow our Lord Jesus closely and we attended an Anglican parish church presided over by a couple of Spirit-led ministers. However, when Archbishop Welby failed to stand upon scripture some years ago, thereby allowing demonic access-rights, we moved to a Bible-based church. Not long afterwards three couples followed us.

PostScript to ‘….Therefore, ditch what He does NOT teach!!’

My reference to others’ opinions in the previous part, as putting themselves in spiritual danger, is not to cause offence; but I’m very concerned over believers failing to benefit personally from Jesus’ torturous death.  I can attest to the fact of having almost died and been dropped into hell as an unsaved soul upon His visiting me in 1989, as told in this post:

On a trapdoor into Hell – Jesus swoops to the rescue!

Moreover, that was an astonishing holy contrast with what scared the wits out of me years earlier when confronted by the gigantic demonic devourer!

A letter to the editor of the Telegraph from VB published last Saturday supports my previous post on the fatherhood of God and arrives at the correct conclusion:

Thank you VB for it is well-worth noting and remembering your personal testimony.

Jesus says, “My words will never pass away!” – Therefore, ditch what He does NOT teach!!

Therefore, in other words, ditch demonic doctrines sown in Jesus’ harvest field or else perish by being culled and burned, just as He promises in Matthew 13 parable on wheat and tares, and as in the adage “Good riddance to bad rubbish!” (Initially, this post’s title referred to the contrast with current ‘theological’ news, as below.)

As we further consider the implication of Jesus words never passing away, please bear with my brevity on this unsavoury aspect but FIRST, FOCUS ON FATHER and know that, had the Church of England taken on board what Bishop David Pytches of St Andrews Chorleywood brought home of the Toronto Blessing in the mid-1990’s (I was visiting when he reported upon his return), then it wouldn’t have got into such an unsafe and unsound doctrinal mess!

The major internationally recognised, theological outcome of that Outpouring in Canada was that of the Father-heart of God, which accords with it being the vital foundation in prayer ministry for healing and deliverance as taught, for example, by Ellel Ministries.

“The books are being opened” – come, feast on Father

By Revd William Smith

The day I was moved by Matthew 24:35 on Jesus’ words, this year’s Anglican General Synod (sin-nod) was convened and, despite the Archbishop of York’s call for unity in his President’s Address based upon The Lord’s Prayer, disquieting news soon spread:

Further news emerged:

NOW we have this opinion from the lead lay-person encouraging the CoE’s divergence from Jesus’ teachings, as read some years ago in the House of Bishops papers (wherein holy writ gets distorted),, and which is published in today’s Telegraph – so assess for yourself:

Does this person and similar folk not recognise it’s far safer to stand up for our Saviour than stand in for the serpent that was kicked out of heaven and will eventually be cast into the lake of fire?

NB. I’m not being offensive but very concerned over self-styled believers not benefitting from Jesus’ torturous death for them personally. I can attest to the fact of having almost died and dropped into hell as an unsaved soul.

CHURCH & POLITICS

Also, consider what drivel this UTTER LACK of authoritative teaching from Anglican leaders is now responsible for:

HERE’s an example of how teaching these falsehoods seriously affects the governing of this once Christian nation. Note: being politically ‘conservative’ I will now no longer vote for a party that does this:

We must pray for and support our brother as we watch the deserved demise of that once principally Christian political party. Also that Holy Spirit convicts them of their deep sinfulness and bring true repentance – make each an offer about personal future post-mortem status they can’t refuse!

Jesus says, “My words will never pass away!” – Therefore…

Since reading this verse early Thursday morning 6th April, I’ve been meditating upon it and especially how it puts current and future events into perspective. (Subsequent daily verses then formed a topical thread, as on my Facebook.)

Click to read the full chapter, also known as ‘The Olivet Discourse’ wherein Jesus tells His disciples about End-times and specifically prophesies the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, which happened about 40 years later. He foretells of false teachers and false prophets and great ‘falling away’ or full-blown apostasy, yet alongside full global evangelism, as Signs of the Times and End of the Age, with it’s Great Tribulation and His Return. The chapter continues from verses 32 to 37 and beyond

“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.  Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it [He] is near, right at the door.  Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.  As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”

Thus, verse 35 alludes to a possible pre-Genesis and beyond Revelation period of non-existence of the earth, humanity, creatures, plants and physical objects, as well as the sun, moon, planets, asteroids, stars, galaxies and black holes, plus the entire electro-magnetic spectrum, physical forces and sub-atomic particles!

In other words, it would be an universal void with no sentient beings!!

My contemplation can imagine a situation where everything and everyone vanishes: all that exists IS ONLY ALL the words Jesus ever speaks, like  R~E~D  L~E~T~T~E~R~S   F~L~O~A~T~I~N~G   on an I_M_M_E_N_S_E invisible scroll.

Moreover, we know that before and right ‘In the Beginning’ Jesus really IS THE WORD which God spoke out to create the heavens and the earth that we live upon. His close disciple John perceived this truly awesome spiritual reality:

‘In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend [overcome] it.’

Furthermore, readers may recall how that first verse sits geometrically as the base of a triangle the apex of which is the opening verse of Genesis:

‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  The earth was without form, and void; and darkness on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.’

For details click title of this post:

Amazing geometrical symmetry of Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 (cont’d)

AND we must not forget that in his first letter John describes what it was really like to know that awesome superhuman-being personally,

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning The Word of life..”

Consequently, John must not have been at all surprised during his deep experience of the The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him to show His servants,’ to hear that ‘The Testimony (ie. ‘WORD’) of Jesus is The Spirit of Prophecy’!!

Thus, this puts all else – especially sin and all demonic beings and works such as rebellion against the written Word – into the perspective of non-existence. Or not quite, because Jesus doesn’t refer to the spirit-realm and Hell, which we expect to continue, or else The Holy Trinity would not be THE eternal divinity.

Also, as the Word exists and will never perish then Jesus’ Presence and speech is always in the present tense. So by His statement in Matthew, we can regard all Jesus’ recorded and unrecorded words (John 21:25) as being said not just in the past, BUT ALWAYS in the ‘here and now’.

Hence my thinking of and describing Jesus as “Always Now”!

In view of my interest in Time and science it’s salutary to contemplate it all. I encourage you to consider it, but note that not only was this a visual theological exercise over that weekend but also it gives an authoritative scriptural answer to the issues of our day, as exemplified by closure of accounts over transgenderism and how the Anglican General Synod that had just convened handles that topic.

IN mulling over all that and more, I had in mind to blog these thoughts as best I can. Furthermore, soon after awaking on Thursday, the 110th anniversary of my father’s birth, I ask how to connect those events succinctly within the post’s title along with Matthew 24:35. Next, simply using ‘therefore’ dropped into mind.

Minutes later the Lord CONFIRMS IT upon my seeing the first word in the Verse of the Day and upon which I shared the impact of this latest ‘God-incidence’:

So thank and praise the Lord. In another post we’ll consider what this post title’s ‘Therefore’ is there for….

Latest examples of the Great Apostasy in Britain – Holy Writ on eunuchs

Further to the prophetic word on the Great Apostasy let’s not overlook Apostle Paul’s insight recorded in 2 Thessalonians 2: and 1 Timothy 4:

“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of [a]Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition…”

Now the Spirit [a]expressly/explicitly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of  demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth….”

Now, some screenshots with extracts and links of latest three examples on this ‘falling away’ before we check what Isaiah and Jesus say about eunuchs:

The Great Apostasy of The Church – Revd Christopher Wickland

As 60th posting on this topic it’s not new to my regular readers and it connects into my coverage of satanic strategies, of which apostasy is a major one alongside anti-Israel and removal of the Jewish people from Jerusalem – hence, none for Jesus to come back there for!

Upon reading the following by Christopher Wickland on Tuesday it struck a chord on my ruminations upon Sunday’s Verse of the Day, as shown above.  Here’s the Lord’s follow-on via Christopher:

The end, but not the end of the established churches:

“The end has come for my people; I will never again overlook their offences. When the time comes, the songs in the temple will be wailings,” says Adonai ELOHIM. “There will be many dead bodies; everywhere silence will reign.” (Amos 8:2-3)

“Oh apostate church, you who have left the anchor of My Truth. You who are cowardly at heart and weak-kneed. You who spin and capitulate to the dance of the world.

Oh apostate church, some of you used to be Mine, whilst others never loved Me. Why did you turn from Me? Was I not good enough for you and to you? Yet I hear you say, How Lord have we turned from you? We still honour you, we still call ourselves by your Name.

Oh apostate church, you honour Me with your lips, but your heart is far from Me. You pay lip-service to Me, but deep inside your heart is rotten to the core. You break My heart with your ways, the ways of a harlot. You look to the world for your so-called just causes. You seek them out and flirt with them like a harlot seeking a lover.

Do you think I delight to speak like this? Do you think I want to talk to you like this? You trample on My Word as though it were trash. You twist it, break it and render it null and void with your hypocrisy and so-called wisdom.

I have given you time to repent of your deeds. I have allowed you much grace and many days for you to change. My heart is that you would change and turn from your wicked ways and come back to me. Although you are apostate, I still yearn that you would turn back to Me and follow My truth.

The time for your sins is almost up, the bowls filling up are almost complete. Yet I am calling Time on you now.

I will not allow your ways to further influence and infect My weak ones in the faith. You will no longer be permitted to gain more converts to your cause. You profane My sabbaths, you profane My Word, you profane the buildings which are devoted to Me with your harlotries and adulteries.

Therefore, I will make a sign of you to the nations. Many will shake their heads with shock and disbelief. You will be a proverb and a byword of warning to those around. I will not tolerate the sins of Jezebel in my church any more. Therefore, I call Time now on all Jezebel churches that claim to be of Me but are not.

It breaks my heart that I now have to call Time on the established institutions that claim to be of Me on this land of Britain. I will chastise you and great will be your pain. I will do to you what you least expect, I will pull your strength and your power away from you. You who have the ear of power will be rendered mute. If you can no longer speak for Me and My Truth, then you will not be permitted to speak at all.

I see those within you who are Mine: I have marked them and I see them. One day, some of those marked ones within whom you have marginalised and silenced, will come back and be the ones I use to raise your institutions back from the grave.

As for you apostates who lead My people into error: your Time has been called.

I know very well what you are up to. I see your heart even though you think I do not. You will all fall, and none shall remember you. Your names will not be great as some of you have hoped. No, I will make you forgotten, like smoke in the wind.

I speak now to those whose hearts have been rent and broken over My apostate ones. I have seen your tears and heard your many prayers. I have seen how you stood up for Me even when it cost you so much. I want to comfort you My people with these words. Firstly, you are remembered and your names are written in heaven for being those who stood up for Me and My Word.

Secondly, I will bring back that which you love so much. Yes, there will be a season of chastisement and I will rid the institutions of those wicked men and women. But night will pass and dawn will rise and healing will be in My wings and I will heal and resurrect that which I put down. I will bring back that which you so love and so cherish.

I love you My people, I love you with an everlasting love. Stay true to Me, keep your ways straight. I will never fail or forsake you. Just remain true to Me, for I am a jealous God and I will have no others before me. For those who have ears to hear, let them hear what is being said to the churches.”

Apostasy, Repentance and the Remnant Church – Chris G Bennett

In view of recent news of the anti-biblical views in the Anglican and Roman churches, proving we are truly in the End-times return of the Days of Noah prophesied by Jesus Christ Himself, this posted on Monday makes a welcome word from the Lord:

(Perhaps you may notice the ‘happen-chance’ timing  – need to count how many times it’s been happening?)  Screenshots from Facebook, text by His Kingdom Prophecy:

The LORD has once again spoken to me, and is speaking through me, about the Laodicean state of much of The Church in Britain, America, and the world today.

Lukewarmness and apostasy has overwhelmed so many otherwise sincere and earnest folk by the imposition of limitations and restrictions which, for whatever reason, The Church simply failed to oppose.

They just accepted the limitations, rolled over, and submitted to a heinous over-reaching authority that sought to strip our basic human rights to a minimum.

Add to this that much of The Church has succumbed to worldly pressure to accept every ungodly, unbiblical vision of ‘inclusiveness’ in The Church.

I gave voice to this quite simply when I said this to a friend today, “Sadly, over the last three years in particular, much of The Church has abdicated all responsibility for preaching the gospel and even for actually being The Church as she was meant to be!”

There is only one way forward — Repentance and Renewal! There is only ONE Way, only ONE Church, only ONE Gospel, only ONE Word, and ONE Blood.

No other way will do. No other Gospel, Word, or Blood.

The Remnant Church, drawn from all denominations of believers, must lead the way in this; must turn The Church from her wicked apostate ways back to the ways of The LORD.

Yes, there needs to be a major, major movement from the few to lead the many back to the faith of the generals through the centuries.

Back to the God revering, Bible believing Church as she was always meant to be. Back to preaching the unashamed Gospel of Jesus Christ, Him crucified dead and risen, His atoning Blood, forgiveness of sins, and a life pleasing to God rather than one pleasing to man.

The Church must once again say,

“I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the Power of God for Salvation to everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16

The Church must once more preach,

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only SON, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have Eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17

And The Church must teach,

“And when I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come as someone superior in speaking ability or wisdom, as I proclaimed to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I also was with you in weakness and fear, and in great trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in Demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of mankind, but on The Power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 (Emphasis all mine)

The gifts and baptism of the Holy Spirit must once again become prominent in the Remnant Church all around the world.

I prophesy that not only is this already beginning to happen, but it will continue to happen until The LORD returns for His bride.

The army of God here on earth is not defeated, and never will be, but is returning in power in order to bring great glory to her King.

Death in the House of the Lord — Tony Puccio

On July 7 I had what I will call a night vision. The vision has to do with Ananias and Sapphira type Christians. Ananias and his wife gave the outward appearance of being sold out so that they could receive the same recognition as those who had truly sold out and laid the proceeds at the Apostle’s feet [… continue reading at …] Death in the House of the Lord — My Dreams and Visions

An excellent follow-on and confirmation of Veronika West seeing The Rider on Red Horse, this from one of my long-standing readers over in Arizona points me back to about 14 years ago when I needed to check what that parable actually says.  Upon opening my Bible and even before I started looking for  Matt 13:36 I heard the Lord’s promise “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” – hence my beginning to write and 8 years later exposures of evil began to manifest frequently, like cockroaches creeping out of dark holes. (As told in The End-game Is Now In Play). Thank you Tony and Tim.

BRING IT ON LORD, and may YOUR NAME ALONE be praised

Linda Bennett comments on Facebook ‘The Church of England just grows more apostate every day. For 100’s of years they wouldn’t ordain women because they were…women. NOW they’re saying they have no definition of what a woman is! Goodness me. They need Jesus.’
To which I remark, ‘Such apostasy is satanic strategy and, in failing to stand on what Jesus said about why there’s two sexes, these deluded folk won’t get through the narrow gate!’

Dark Days and The Light Of The World – Chris G Bennett

On Friday Chris G Bennett published this absolutely ACE on his Facebook, which not surprisingly attracted a couple of dozen comments:

DARK DAYS & THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

There are some dark days ahead of us. Once again it seems that Satan really believes he can beat Jesus Christ down. He did the same at Calvary, where to all intents and purposes, he appeared to have defeated to Son of God by having Him killed on the Roman cross. But, three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, collected the keys to death, hell, and the grave from a very surprised Satan, and ascended to sit at the Father’s right hand – exactly as prophesied in scripture for centuries beforehand.

So what does Satan expect this time around?

Much biblical prophecy points to these days – “wars, rumours of wars”, “nations and leaders raising themselves up – way beyond their capabilities”, earthquakes, fires, storms! Everything pointing to mayhem and Satan having a ball at our expense. Yet, as with the original scenario, prophecy points to a very different outcome!

Prophecy, biblical and 21st century, points to a ‘Great Falling Away’! Is this not happening? Have not great swathes of the church followed their own teaching rather than God’s? Is there not a great watering down of Christ’s gospel message – no heaven, no hell, no repentance, no death to self, no humility, etc etc? Has the church not virtually extinguished the ‘Light of the World’. And has its salt not become bland and tasteless? Nearly every prophet worth the name has spoken into this.

But also, nearly every prophet worth the name has also spoken of the final harvest, the great gathering in, otherwise known as end-time revival. Prophecy, both biblical and 21st century, is full of signs, wonders, miracles, and ‘greater things’ that Jesus spoke of, alongside a great harvest of souls yet to come to salvation. Just as it did two thousand years ago, history will record that Satan once again tried and failed to oust the Son of God from His position as the Light of the World.

As I said, there are some very dark days ahead. I believe we will go right to the very edge of war and Satan will even appear to have won. BUT – God will turn things around. Satan will walk right into the Lord’s hands, as God turns everything round. There will be a great revival, there will be great persecution against Christians, there will be a huge upheaval in politics – particularly in America and Europe. The ‘swamp’ will be drained – Trump will be justified and returned to his rightful place – China, Russia, North Korea, and other aggressors will once again back off from their sabre-rattling stance. In fact, I believe Russia and America will become allies – albeit a little wary of each other – and a new respect will be established between them. I also believe the CCP will suddenly dissipate into a much less powerful and aggressive state.

Yes, dark days are coming, but the Light of the World has yet to have His say on everything. And the Rapture? Who knows other than the Father Himself – even Jesus said He doesn’t know. As the Word of God says, so many times, “FEAR NOT” for God is still in control and everything is safe in His hands! Glory to God and Hallelujah \o/
