On wild winds, flooding and an earthquake

“…And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” (Gen 14:20)

The above led into Tuesday morning’s daily prayer for the nation from Keep Praying and Bless. (We’ve continued using this intercessory paper published for the Olympic Torch relay of 2012). As though answering my thoughts about following the previous day’s post on Bob Jones, that verse was followed appropriately by:

We decree that the Church in the British Isles will be delivered from old mindsets and will walk in the new mantle God is placing on His Bride, for a time such as this.

It also fitted with a private issue over religious legalism. We then prayed a set, specific blessing and the Aaronic blessing for a couple of towns, followed by the day’s blessing.:

We bless His Bride to be washed with the water of His Word and to be filled with the law of the Spirit of Life. 

That reflects the second part of a prophecy through Smith Wigglesworth (as here),  which has been implemented by the Baptist Union’s acceptance a few years ago of applying the Word with the Spirit. I trust, therefore, you’ll bear with my musings before  covering prophetical aspects. There are sound reasons for my confidence in how the Lord has led me in all this. So I trust you will be encouraged in what follows below and in the next post published in tandem with this one.

I’ve wondered what’s Lord’s view of, or influence upon, the severe storms and extensive deep flooding across England, with the west taking the brunt of the violence. Is it climate change? Are these events at all prophetic? There was even an earthquake between Wales and  Devon (click map for details)! is it a sign of a Hebrews 12 ‘shaking’?

It’s no surprise that the Met Office forecast of a ‘drier than normal’ winter was utterly wrong!  At least we’re not alone – in Slovenia thick blankets of ice killed many trees and caused more flooding (thanks Kim).

Today’s news is that it’s officially the “Wettest winter for England and Wales since 1766”, according to early Met Office statistics (click map for report’s details).

In fact, I’d surprised myself by not being judgemental over the storms in assuming it’s all the ‘wrath of God’!

Upon taking a walk a couple of weeks ago I impulsively decided to listen to Paul Keith Davis’ cd The Days of Noah. Speaking mainly from Hebrews 11 and Matthew 24, he adds,  “Light is accelerating and so is darkness…there’s a body of knowledge coming that’s essential for us (the church) to survive”, and refers to Isaiah 60 on the deep darkness covering the earth versus the light of God’s people.

I noted his stressing that Noah had been “warned about things not yet seen…” and that, had he not had the spirit of revelation, he too would have perished in the Flood. Also, Noah honoured his great-grandfather Enoch who “walked with God” and was father of the oldest person, Methuselah. He was given that name because Enoch said, “When he dies it will come” for he already knew about the Flood, which came almost 1,000 years later. Keith had read in Jewish teaching that the deluge started 7 days after Methuselah died.  (For fascinating details see Dr Chuck Missler, The Gospel in Genesis.)

That’s as much as I heard on my walk for I had to linger over those ideas. The reference to a prophecy being fulfilled after a person’s death particularly stuck in mind because I’d been mulling a similar one over in connection with Gabriel’s message.  (That’s yet to be concluded but now I see how this information makes that not only easier to grasp but also gives a Biblical basis for connecting prophesied events with a person’s passing.)

Who is to blame for the storms?

Upon my return home, an email from someone whose views I respect urged calling the nation together to repent because we’ve spurned Him, and seek God’s forgiveness.   He posits that demonic incantations officially broadcast in closing the 2012 Olympic Games acted as a curse to flood the land and affected our weather.  Thus, the violent storms hitting Britain could be a foretaste of chaos to come unless there’s a spiritual change in our national life.  Yet, if that’s so, why was last year’s weather not unusual? (Met Office 2013 annual report refers.)

That all needed mulling over.  I had reservations because it imputed a greater power to paganism than the hundreds of Christian prayers and declarations made in the lead up to the Games, especially afterwards at the National Day of Prayer at Wembley. And what about the nationwide ringing of Jubilee Bells and declarations to negate ungodly, cultic Olympic prayers? (See ‘2012’ in blog Library.)

Also, I recalled Dr Sharon Stone received a word from the Lord on a specific, spiritual meaning to Hurricane Sandy that indicated a turning point in Church history. It would also point toward a shaking of reprobate American society and the necessity of turning to Jesus!  She did not, however, speak judgmentally.

There was also a personal dream of warning that I’d had about weather and so I wasn’t so sure about the spiritual nature of the storms. Quite a bit to weigh and pray…

In addition, we hear in Monday’s video about two hurricanes arriving in Mobile, one that stopped as directed by the Lord, and the other satanic one smashed along the coast.

Prophecies on the 2014 Storms

So in parallel with this post, I will offer what I believe is significant information on this topic from Kathie Walters, who prophesied in 2012 not only about the Queen’s Jubilee Bells, but who also directly connected it to Arthur Burt’s prophecy of 1937. (See It’s Time to Ring Out Those Bells!)

Talking to Time seems to work!

Only upon watching You Are Not a Victim of Fate again with a ‘young’ believer and talking about how that could be applied to her situation, did we realise what we had already addressed for this month has changed for the better!  (One item was the time-critical juxta-positioning of a house/business move which had halted, or was about to fall apart, and an arranged major surgery that would greatly restrict physical ability for moving. So it’s increasingly dicey with passage of time.)

I want to consider the previous post Prophesy TO 2014 further – especially for scriptural stalwarts who may object to Pastor Kilpatrick’s supposition that we can speak into and affect time. As in my reply to Tony’s comment upon that post, the central – even pivotal – point in this claim, as in all prophecy is submission to the Lord’s will and holiness and our speaking with clean lips, not a deceitful tongue, for…

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. [Psalm 24: NKJV]

The pastoral letters of Apostles Peter and Paul, especially Jesus’ brother James, warn us to avoid all ungodly speech.

Some objections

Let me answer some possible, albeit valid, objections that critics may raise;

  1. Hebrews 2 doesn’t mean ordinary people for it’s about the ‘Son of Man’ (ie Jesus)
  2. Where’s the scriptural authority for Christians to talk to nature?

1st – Yes, the whole passage is about Jesus but it quotes one of King David’s psalms and as that is recognised as inspired by Holy Spirit then Revd Kilpatrick is quite correct in referring to Psalm 8 alone as the premise of his thesis. Critics may respond that the author of Hebrews makes the meaning of its closing verse quite conditional and, thus, it has not only been omitted but also taken out of context in by the pastor. It reads:

Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all things put under their authority. 9 What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” [Hebrews 2 NLT – emphasis mine]

But the second chapter of Hebrews goes on to say,

10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying…

This is from New King James Version, which draws attention to these benefits of being one with Christ with a sub-header ‘Bringing many sons to glory’. After several splendid chapters about the identity and mission of the Jewish Messiah, or King of The Jews, we read this explanation in the culminating truths of chapter 10:

11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before….

Therefore, the full passage actually endorses and augments John Kilpatrick’s teaching because, although using the psalm as referring to the ‘Son of Man’ or Messiah, the letter to Jewish believers focuses upon how Jesus has brought them to the fullness of their faith; ‘perfected forever’. In his account of the Good News Jesus’ closest disciple, John writes about believers’ ‘right to become Sons (children) of God’!  (John 1:12)

That must surely mean Christians should be able to do what Jesus did in the power of the Holy Spirit, does it not?

Talking to nature and time

As an ordained minister, John Kilpatrick cited the following examples in support of what he’d heard from the Holy Spirit about speaking to the year:

  • Jesus speaking to the storm at sea and its subsequent calm
  • Elijah’s blessing to conceive and bear through full-term to proper birth upon his Shulamite ‘landlady’ and her husband
  • Ezekiel’s commands to masses of bones to come together as skeletons and to gain all necessary muscles, organs and flesh and to the air for them to breathe.

He prefaced these with,

“Holy Spirit told me to speak into the year. He said sow into the year, not just with finances, but sow into the year with words of faith…and I’ve learned one thing it’s if you don’t speak to things then things will treat you as a victim of fate…Sow what you desire to bring it forth!”

Therefore, he spoke about all these matters from the viewpoint of our needing to know and apply these principles because we are called to be a kings and priests of God. And let us not forget that this pastor has the exceptional privilege of being used by God to host two long visitations of His Presence since 1995.  Consequently, we would be well advised to consider this teaching carefully.

The prime practical passage John used was Genesis 1 which states how God created by means of the combined action of the Holy Spirit and His spoken word. Therefore, we should do likewise and this means we need to be walking with the Holy Spirit in close relationship with our heavenly Father in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. It was this sound and detailed teaching which led into the closing implementation of these principles. Hence, my recommendation of this exceptional video to my brother and sisters in the Lord. (John’s message starts at 1:37:45 into the service.)

Some evidence

In addition to the above, our local fellowship has already been practising commanding weather and on several occasions recently observed changes, especially in the down-grading of last weekend’s approaching storm systems.  I recall hearing Heidi Baker at the 2012 Revival Alliance conference speak of having diverted a monsoon heading for Mozambique, and this was confirmed by our pastor who had been in Durban at the time. She reported the meteorologists as being unable to explain why their predicted path for the monsoon had not materialised!  Praise the Lord!

So it certainly appears in our experience that there’s empirical support for a Biblical  approach to speaking to nature – including time.

Dr Sharon Stone: Prophetic Word on Hurricane Sandy

A National Prayer Evening was held on 3rd November by Christian International Europe in Windsor, Royal Berkshire. Daytime sessions included prophetic training and several prophetical voices shared what they believe God is saying for 2013.

The first to speak on what the Lord is saying at this time was Dr Sharon Stone, who opened with this important caveat:

“I do not believe that when I bring forth a prophetic word it’s ‘the beginning’ or ‘the end’ of what The Spirit of God is saying; it’s just my part that God has given me at that time.

I also believe there are different types of prophetic gifting, and I realise that about myself. I am not called to deny the darkness or even the judgement, or the shaking, that is going on in the earth, but the type of prophet that I am is that I am called to be a voice of hope and solution in the midst of the darkness and in the midst of the shaking…it is not a denying of the one or the other…” (my emphasis)

In view of my discussion with Sharon earlier in the year about the special locality possibly being a ‘link’ between heaven and earth, I was interested to learn that she and husband Greg had just moved into Windsor.  They didn’t have phones other than a mobile until the previous day, and the TV system in the new  house needed a specialist technician to hook up and demonstrate its use. So they weren’t able to keep up with the latest world news except on the internet, and this is what Sharon shared about  ‘superstorm’ Sandy.:

“I don’t want to talk about the hurricane only hitting New York – it hit the Caribbean, it hit New Jersey, it hit New York, it went on up into Canada. There were deaths everywhere and so we don’t downsize any of that. In matter of fact, its eye hit New Jersey but the greatest amount of damage was done in New York and I think the reason people put the emphasis on that is simply because that’s the financial district, that has the Statue of Liberty, a place of identity for the nation, a place of rule in the nation. And so that’s why I believe people’s focus is upon there, even though that’s not the only place that it touched…

“I only got to see it once in a while…and one time the Lord said,

 “The hurricane Sandy is a punctuation.”

“…and so when I would see it, one time it would look like a full stop with the eye in the middle…another time with it swirling it would look like the question mark, with the dot, and when I’d see it another time it was elongated and it looked like the exclamation mark with the dot on the bottom!

“And the Lord kept saying that this hurricane and these winds are ‘a punctuation’ – not  just in the US but a punctuation in the world. Now a type of punctuation means that it draws the line, and it brings a separation and there is an alteration after that, and this is what the Lord said; He says,

“These are re-arranging winds and they’re changing the course of nations.”

“…This is a “re-arranging winds and a changing of the course of nations” and the Lord spoke this, and forgive me as I’m going to read some of this because I want to get the words right. The Lord said:

“The Old World’s time has cycled around again to become a New World (we’re part of that Old World, here in Europe) to rewrite history, no longer a Constantine conversion that advances religion without Christ. Hidden winds of change have been developing on the inside of My people and they are now blowing change into the world. The western New World, particularly the USA, will enter accelerated crisis-shaking to hasten their journey to learn that I am their true resource and I am their defender. The USA has been a champion of freedom for much of the oppressed world, but you cannot represent freedom without representing Me, Jesus, Who is the provider and Who can bring sustainable protection to the nation.

“The Lord says,

“Parts of these winds that are blowing, part of these winds that are bringing a re-arranging, are blowing away what has confused nations of their identity.

“We’re not the only nation that has been in an identity crisis. I believe that many of our nations have had skewed identity and the Lord is saying this; He says,

“I will bring you out of what you have designed by your own thinking and by your own hands – listen to that! – that I may redesign it by My thoughts and My plans.”

The Biblical significance of hurricane Sandy

Some dubbed it ‘Frankenstorm’, striking the US north-eastern seaboard over Halloween – ‘trick or treat’, this tempest was well beyond a joke!

Some recalled Jesus’ prophetic description of the days preceding His promised return,

“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man…people knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away…” (see Matt 24, espec vv 37-42; Luke 17)

Personally, I perceive a connection with and a lesson from George Washington’s battles against we Brits!   Also, it was astonishing to see the whole storm superimposed by the BBC to show it would cover ALL western Europe, from northern Norway to the Straits of Gibraltar at Spain’s southern tip!  (This report doesn’t show the same full image.)

So there’s many opinions about the category 1 hurricane Sandy. The following comments are not to be construed as demeaning in any way the suffering and tragedy it caused. My intention is to awaken your consideration of the possibility of a profound significance to this superstorm. We’ll cover a known reliable source’s case for Sandy’s Biblical significance, one based on solid, factual data. But beforehand, kindly bear with my short personal perspective.:

Throughout Saturday night southern England was lashed by torrential rains, even snow fell in the southwest.  Rain had stopped by the time we arrived at church and a leader greeted me in the car park with, “At least it’s not as bad as America”.  I mentioned the coincidence of Sandy happening on the 21st anniversary of the ‘perfect storm’, which had the distinction of an ‘unusual retrograde motion’ in going east to west to strike the northeastern USA.

We parted and, as I approached the entrance, another chap met me and straight away said that Sandy is connected with Israel. “I know”, replied I.

How extraordinary. Such conversations wouldn’t have arisen in other churches we’d attended or regularly visited!  And here the previous week, an older lady and a young man independently spoke to me about John McTernan’s writings. I’ve never before met anyone familiar with his work!  Could this indicate a growing awareness in Christians to the Biblical implications of political activities?

Readers may recall my occasional references to John’s blog (see tag) and perhaps followed the links. Last week I saw this image on his posting for 28th Oct.  Similar ones appeared daily on World Watch and, clicking on one, I got the meteorologist at US’ Weather Channel talking over the chart. I noted his remark that this low category hurricane is peculiar in its  “unique angle” – it will turn and head towards the coast!  Unlike a normal hurricane that heads out into mid-Atlantic, Sandy turned westward to strike the nation’s capital and major cities!

That fact plus the fact it happened on the 21st anniversary of the ‘perfect storm’ should make any thinking person start to think about a possible connection – could this have been on purpose, or by ‘design’?  Dullards will attribute it solely to weather or climate.  John is of the opinion only reprobate minds refuse to consider and accept the fact that  unremitting iniquity and unrighteousness warrants any rebuke from the Creator.

A Case for Sandy’s Biblical Significance

You may recall earlier articles of mine on the cyclical nature of events, starting with White House correspondent William Koenig’s in-depth investigation into the work of financial markets technical analyst Eric Hadik (see Points to Ponder).

In view of this knowledge, William accurately forecast terrorist troubles for this 11th Sept simply on the grounds of its being the 11th anniversary of the Twin Towers attack (see 11 year cycle proves itself again).  Now, mathematically number 21 is 3 x 7, both of which, and multiples thereof, occur frequently and are of significance in the Bible. For example, 7 days of creation, Jesus’ return to life on 3rd day of death, the Trinity…etc.

Hence, William’s ideas about superstorm Sandy occurring on the 21st anniversary of the Perfect Storm warrant serious consideration. Also, to his above-stated track record we should add the sound credentials of carefully logged observations over many years.

William has thereby documented and published the close correlations between the most catastrophic weather and America’s treatment of Israel. Learn more about his claims from a recent interview with Drew Zahn by reading Could ‘Frankenstorm’ Be A Sign From God?

Thus, his main premis is:

“When we put pressure on Israel to divide their land, we have enormous, record-setting events, often within 24 hours,” Koenig told WND. “Hurricane Katrina, 9/11 – we have experienced over 90 record-setting, all-time events as we have acted against Israel. And the greater the pressure on Israel to ‘cooperate,’ the greater the catastrophe….

“From a biblical perspective, the land isn’t to be divided, parceled out or negotiated away … period,” Koenig said. “That’s the land God gave to Israel. People say they want peace,” he continued, “but it all comes down to this: No earthly leader has the right to partition Israel, because that was God’s gift to Abraham and his descendants. <emphasis RB>

How say you, my reader? Isn’t it time for American and world leaders to consider this information and take William’s, and John’s, claims seriously?  After all, many have been given their OWN copy of William’s book Eye to Eye!

1. Re. Four Christians at European Court of Human Rights (as here, then here):

Ditch your crosses or resign, Christian told runs the front page headline in today’s Telegraph. Under its full report Not free to wear a cross at work? Then resign, state lawyers tell court (hardcopy, see online), James Eadie QC (Queen’s Counsel) is quoted as saying employers’ refusal to allow two ladies to wear crucifixes at work “did not prevent either of them practising religion in private”.  See also these reports:

As may be expected, The Independent closes by quoting a warning from the National Secular Society in the event of a victory for the four. The Telegraph closes quoting the Conservative party’s highly respected leading backbencher, David Davis as expecting the Prime Minister to stick to his promises to MPs to protect religious rights:

The idea that British citizens are not free to express their faith in the workplace is an extraordinary and oppressive interpretation of the law.

2. Re. Hurricane Isaac and New Orleans (as here, then here):

Teaching about the scriptural aspects of the repeated coincidence of another hurricane upon the city and its celebration of ungodliness, Southern Decadence, ‘went viral’ on the internet. In the second link above I gave passing mention to John McTernan’s email, which I hadn’t seen – Hurricane Isaac and God’s final warning to America.  It generated  a very long discussion thread – 250 comments!

John has been in ministry since 1987 when God first started showing him warnings of judgments upon America.  In Southern Decadence vs the Holiness of God he gives his reaction to the debate and insights into why New Orleans was hit.  Should you visit his blog you’ll find a lot of sound Biblical teaching across several posts on this major issue.

3. Re. British weather and climate change (as here, then here):

The Meteorological Office declared June, July and August as the wettest in 100 years and second since records began (1654 for central England). Also, a record wet April enabled April, May and June to become the wettest on record.  It was also the dullest so-called summer!

I always regarded claims for climate change as fictitious. First proof came with Gordon Brown’s retrospective tax for air passenger fuel duty on fares that had already been booked AND paid for (ie. legalised theft)!  Then along with many investigators’ rebuttals came the declaration by Emeritus Professor of Physics, Harold Lewis that,

“Global warming is the greatest and most successful pseudo-scientific fraud I have seen in my long life…This is not science, other forces are at work.”

Therefore, he wrote to the American Physical Society, “I want no part of it, so please accept my resignation” (as its President)! The APS refuted his claims, yet one has to wonder why such a distinguished person would take such an inordinate stance if his viewpoint were without any foundation whatsoever.

There’s also the case of Nobel laureate Prof Ivar Giaever who resigned from the APS for the same reasons

NOW, Peter Lilley MP has wiped the floor with the ‘warmist-alarmist’ Stern Review. His Grace Cranmer reports:

By this report has HM Government been siphoning off billions from the UK economy on the pretext of ‘climate change mitigation’.

Cranmer’s source observes:

In a thorough and systematic deconstruction of this document, Mr Lilley exposed scores of errors and lies and may have been the first major Western politician to shout not only that “the Emperor has no clothes,” but to show the pictures as well.

Before quoting the press release, His Grace adds:

This is indeed a tectonic event; ‘one which is sure to embolden conserv-atives and Conservatives across the Commonwealth and even our cousins in the US who, thanks to Mr Lilley’s bravery, might stand up and demand a proper accounting and a good look of this warmist scam under the bright light of the mid-day sun.’

Interesting times…yet another exposure!

Continued from Part 1: “And then what? You were saying Richard, …”

Normally I’m offline Friday to Sunday, and longer over a Bank Holiday.  But in between showers and odd tasks I planned to snatch 15 mins ever so quickly to re-blog an ace post.  But I found WordPress playing up terribly and dipped into emails, spotted the ones from William K and John McT, and so I tried using them for a couple of direct email postings. I saw another from Tony P on his latest post Winds of Change, which fits the News Alert on the tropical storm/hurricane in Florida.

Bank Holiday Monday evening we planned to catch up with the second night of The Bay Revival team’s visit to Southern California but found the website unavailable, as was that of their church in Mobile.  Perhaps this was down in preparation for the arrival of Isaac.  Also, I was puzzled over the claims about its location and path – Tampa, Florida  or central northern Gulf…which?  We saw Weather Channel’s hurricane specialist show how he’d found tropical storm Isaac’s approach from mid-Caribbean had been split by a wedge of dry air and this made the main part head west nor-west towards New Orleans. The eastern leading edge was already over Florida.  It seemed as though the massive storm was not going directly towards the Florida panhandle and neck of Alabama but veering off to once again join the ‘Southern Decadence’ – on yet another 29 August!

Question: was this accident, fluke or directed by a mind far superior to ours?  Or could it be to allow some respite to the Pensacola-Mobile area because that’s been blessed by two Holy Spirit visitations?  (Perhaps my dream recounted here has relevance?)

With regard to my previous reference to extremes of weather, the agricultural economy of both nations is already being affected, as in today’s Telegraph article The farmer’s hell after the heavens opened where Christopher Middleton notes:

Yes, while drought-stricken American farmers have been praying for rain, with 35 states declaring themselves disaster areas, we Brits have found the heavens to be open all hours of the day, in what is set to be one of the wettest summers on record. The combination is expected to send food prices soaring for the average shopper in the coming months.

The political price for this upon our government is not missed by His Grace Cranmer’s post, Cameron’s downfall will be the price of bread.

Too Coincidental?

williamkoenig-web[1]The detailed information and conclusions William Koenig gives in his Eye-to-Eye alert arise from years of monitoring events that occur simultaneously with, or following closely, important matters to do with Israel. Thus, likely connections with Biblical teaching and prophecy can be demonstrated from the linkage and deduced by open-minded investigators.

In Koenig’s current examples the repeated four instances of related occasions should be of interest to those of a mathematical and scientific bent. Their repetitive nature almost makes the events worthy of scientific investigation, does it not?

And there’s more! Lots…

For example, his detailed analysis of record heat and drought in both 2011 and 2012, during June to August in both years, suggests a connection with President Obama’s LGBT and gay marriage agenda (Eye-View 3rd August).  Earlier in July 2010, he’d observed that most of the states supporting this in the US northeast had experienced record-breaking temperatures during Jan-July. A thinking person would don his/her thinking cap!

Cycles

Earlier this year my Points to ponder 2011-12 introduced Koenig’s investigation of the work of internationally renowned financial analyst Erick Hadik.  Hadik has recognised the affects of natural cycles not only upon our environment but also upon our spheres of political and economical activity. One in particular corresponds closely with the 11-year sunspot cycle’s peak this year 2012, that of Middle-Eastern conflict!  For example, look at these dates:

end of WWII – 1945, adding 11 years:

Suez War – 1956, another 11 years:

Six Days War – 1967, plus 11 years:

Camp David Accords – 1978-1979 (also Iran’s Islamic Revolution):

Persian Gulf War / Desert Storm (Part I) – 1990-91, another 11 years:

Sept 11th 2001 terror events and subsequent Afghan and Iraq wars (Part II).

2012 – may introduce Persian Gulf Wars Part III? – Sunni/Shiite conflict? Israel v. Iran? Update > See blog 11-year cycle proves itself again! (posted 14 Sept: attacks upon US embassy in Cairo and consulate in Libya with ambassador’s murder) and News and Stories for 2012 for the year’s main events.

Hadik claims the above dates are, in fact, preceded by those for the Palestine mandate (1922) and Hitler’s ascension (1933).  Furthermore, there is a 50/100 year cycle of major wars. He cites the Napoleonic war of 1812, US Civil War (1861-65), the Balkan Wars of 1912 as the real start of WWI,  1961-2 Cuban missile crisis and SE Asian wars.  2012 next!  (Source: page 5 of Hadik’s Earth in Transition 3+3 II.)

“What’s going on there? I spy with my little eye…”

The year’s last non-winter Bank Holiday weekend was yet another washout – but today’s fine and sunny, with cool breeze, now most have returned to regular work! Well why not? We fill our weekends without thought of our Maker and Saviour by shopping, sports and leisure activities, so whyever should our holidays be blessed with warm weather?  A fortnight ago we had just three or four consecutive warm days (around 80F) at long (June), long (July), long (August) last here in southern England. This year the number of real Summer days, where we could dine outdoors on the patio, must have been about half a dozen only!  BUT, thank the Lord that drought conditions arising from two dry winters have completely disappeared.

I was musing over the different extremes manifesting on opposite sides of ‘the pond’, as though the UK is being blessed and the United States isn’t, and came across a rather  apposite psalm. (Drought conditions in the States had deteriorated since July’s posting on the matter: wells running dry, even the mighty Mississippi hitting ‘uncharted territory, also more wildfires in Idaho and Oregon – thanks to John McTernan’s Daily Digest 18th August, and there’s many more elsewhere!)  I wondered about scriptural links between a possible revival here and our record-breaking rains and my concordance took me to Psalm 68:

7 O God, when You went out before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, Selah 8 The earth shook; The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9 You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, When it was weary…

And then I noticed the preceding verse 6: But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Isn’t this a positive statement about the consequences of un-Godly and anti-Christian policies that federal and various state governments have introduced in the USA?  Even weeks beforehand I’d surmised the extreme heat may be a toned-down taster of the fire that consumed Sodom and Gomorrah, where flagrant rebellion ran wild in the streets.

Earthquakes

During the heightened earthquake activity along the Pacific rim and in central USA in 2010 I read that ‘seismic swarms’ are a relatively new occurrence. Occurring off the coast of British Columbia since 2008, they’re regarded as quite different to the usual  large quake with its follow-ons. According to the United States Geological Survey, swarms are defined as an episode of high earthquake activity in which the largest does not occur at the beginning of an episode and is not substantially larger than anyother quake within the episode. Some have surmised that they would suggest there may be a much larger area of tectonic sensitivity than that of a normal fault-line.

Further to yesterday’s news the latest USGS graphical report for California may be seen here. Notice how very active this region is compared to the global data map.

Dear Richard,There were two major record-setting, billion-dollar hurricanes at the time of the 2004 (Frances) and 2008 (Gustav) Republican Conventions. They literally became the main news stories up to and during the Republican Convention.

Tropical Storm Isaac, soon to be Hurricane Isaac, has disrupted the 2012 Republican Convention.

On Tuesday, August 21, the Republican platform committee voted to add the “two-state” position pertaining to Israel’s land for formal approval at the convention; this was the same day Isaac formed as a tropical depression.

What’s up with the weather?

Taken in case of need, this holiday photo is now serving its purpose – to remind me what wall-to-wall, cloud-less sky is like!  And it’s not hard, but not easy, to recall what lies beneath this azure zenith!  But 8.30am today I walked in warm sunshine, yet a bank of cloud soon rolled over like a gray blanket – but at least it’s not raining and occasionally getting a bit brighter as cloud thins now and then.

Regarded as the wettest April to June (see report and video) since full detailed records for temperatures and rainfall across the UK began in 1910 – they’re forecasting over a month’s rain in 24hrs!  (In the night we heard it like never ever before – it fell so heavily and quickly it sounded like one long roar!)  Even now in July it’s unwise to stow away one’s winter wear!  There have been ‘exceptional’ torrential rains, stormforce winds, at least one small tornado and widespread flooding, sadly with loss of life – all as was anticipated in my dream reported in What’s prophetical about weather? )

But there’s a blessing, nationally and personally – although much earlier than usual, our holiday took place during a fine fortnight with cool winds, and only one wet day. Two winters of abnormally low rainfall left reservoirs and underground aquifers very dry but they’ve been replenished. Also, plans to ban the use hose-pipes have been scrapped. So thank you Lord – let the river of Your Holy Spirit flow…

Over the ‘pond’

On this side of the Atlantic we’ve got away with things very lightly!  Over in the States it’s been a very bad month indeed, as I’ve noted from a couple of blogs. My older cousin south of Tucson, Arizona, is hoping for the ‘monsoon’ as it’s hot and dry (temperatures over 100 degrees F daily) with only a trace of rain this year. The extreme heat then headed eastwards, to affect 25 states and 45 million people, for example:

Now, it’s an interesting and pertinent fact that President Obama had declared June as being devoted to ‘gay pride’, as well as having declared shortly beforehand his personal interest in changing the laws to allow ‘marriage’ for such folk. Many black pastors have challenged and registered strong objections to his actions.

Now, it’s been noted that Obama signed off his official declaration as follows,

“IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this first day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand twelve, and of the Indepen-dence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-sixth.” (emphasis added)

Now, is it not an extraordinarily contrary thing to mix this matter with a reference to the life of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour?  Can we not sense where His heart is in this matter and what His response is?  This president has surely put himself in an invidious position and I would not like to be in his shoes.  After all, isn’t it written that Sodom and Gomorrah suffered from intense fire? (Genesis 19:23)  Jesus indicated that those cities  would, however, have repented had they witnessed His mighty works. Furthermore, His statement implies that there is hope for all who do not reject Him (Matthew 11).

Could this be why the United States has been suffering such stupendously atrocious storms, and continues to reap the whirlwind of darker days? (For fuller discussion see  Dr John MrTernan’s Insights blog with journal of events: Defend & Proclaim the Faith.)

I criticised the content of President Obama’s speech in Cairo Speech and expressed reservations about the nature of his faith. After recent ‘clarifications’ on that issue and  his address during the National Prayer Breakfast, I have reviewed my reservations – especially the claim that he may be ‘born again’.  However, I’ve yet to be convinced.

The fact remains, that whomsoever President Obama is acountable to as his spiritual mentor or pastor seems to have ignored Jesus’ instruction to His Apostles, and hence to all those in spiritual authority, about how to make disciples of believers:

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  19 Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

This is New King James text, but New International Version renders verse 20 as,

 “…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded…”

So just what did Jesus command?

Paws-4-thought: what’s prophetical about weather?

They’re saying it’s unusual weather. A couple of weeks ago water supply companies announced intentions to ban the use of garden hosepipes in order to save water. Two extremely dry winters have left supplies at low levels. As I’ve not followed weather  developments I’ve not been thinking about it, but an unusual and lucid dream left me wide-awake a week ago today.

That dream featured very dark stormy clouds with very heavy rain and stormy winds – which has since been increasingly so!  (Friday’s Telegraph photo is uncannily similar!)

I recalled a prophetic word that Lance Lambert gave last August and which reported the Lord as saying, “I will change her (Britain’s) climate, even her weather…”.  Then last night I re-read Jarrod Cooper’s blog 10 Clouds in the Sky dated 5 January and noticed that he opens, “It’s 2012 and I hear the “sound of a heavy rain” (my emphasis)….”!!

The well-known Bible verse on rain is from the early prophet Joel, as at verse 2:23:

“He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you – the former rain and the latter rain in the first month”

My NKJV Study Bible’s note on this is interesting:  ‘The latter rain is the spring rain that occurs just before harvest. This outpouring of refreshing rain which renews the fertility of the parched ground prefigures the outpour-ing of the Spirit, which will bring spiritual renewal (as in vv 28-32).’  Those later verses are quoted in Acts 2:17-21.

Also, I recall Dr Stone’s reference to unusually strong winds during New Year and which signifies, she suggested, an unexpected and strong move of the Holy Spirit, or breath of God.  So, perhaps my dream about weather may have some significance, especially as it strongly hints at the Lord’s plan:

The Dream

Cannot recall the full scenario, but am with my wife and a couple of believers in a public building that’s been badly damaged by strong wind and heavy rain. Someone comes to tell me of their concern over what’s happening all around and I sense a deep fearfulness. 

So to my very great surprise, I hear myself replying, “It’s all to do with the two words received this week!”  That is, with the prophetic words I’d emailed and posted as, “Get ready!”

At that moment my mind is very lucid and clear, as though knowing in my spirit that what I was saying was of Holy Spirit. [The deep certainty was identical to my response when dreaming last 3rd Sept about angelic preparations for setting up the Kingdom.]

Afterwards, the weather gets worse as a tempestuous wind flattens almost everything before it, but we remain safe…

Upon waking, I was atremble with excitement over perceiving the deep truth behind ‘get ready’. Also because of this, I sensed the Lord wanted me to insert a reference in my just reworked outline of the purpose of this blog. Then on putting my hand to my NKJV study Bible, ‘Jeremiah 10’ sprang to mind and to which I immediately turned. The opening three verses read:

Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the LORD,

“Do not learn the ways of the Gentiles [unbelievers?]; do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the Gentiles are dismayed at them, for the customs of the people are futile;…”

The chapter is headed ‘Idols and the True God’ and those opening verses describe well what I dreamed. Then I noted verse 10 and 11 read:

But the LORD is the true God, He is the everlasting King At His wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

Thus you shall say to them: “The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens”…

Could what had been unfolding in my sleeping and waking mind indicate that the Lord really is up to something very powerful, something that may shake and remove all that is not of Him?

Have we not a little food for thought??

Open doors of opportunity and of revelation

In my humble opinion, watchers of the wickedness happening within that leading Christian nation, as well as those familiar with Chuck Pierce’s insights into the spiritual divisions across the USA, will see the relevance of this information.

Dear Reader – further to my previous, yet more events seem to indicate the prophetic word to Lance Lambert on 18 April as being from the Lord.

£/Euro/US Finances

Immersed in the deluge of Polling Day’s reports one’s attention could easily miss mention of a massive dip on US stock market, which ‘baffled Wall Street’, and the White House even suspected sabotage (see attached from in-house Christian correspondent Bill Koenig)! And last weekend all European leaders’ attention was firmly fixed upon our dire financial situation.

Interesting to note that Greece, the foundational state of western civilization, is being hammered – could this be connected to the European and American rejection of the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob? ALSO, seven weeks ago America’s foundational states in New England had exceptionally severe storms with parts of Rhode Island & Massachusetts declared as disaster areas whilst the latter’s senator was talking to Israel’s enemy, Syria. AND in Washington, president Obama had not only insulted PM Netanyahu during his visit but also refused to recognise Israel’s claim to Jerusalem as its capital – contrary to the Lord’s foundational choice!

Gulf of Mexico Oil-Spill

In his latest weekly report Bill Koenig makes most intriguing comments upon BP’s historic role, viz:

  • “The Anglo-Persian oil company that became British Petroleum in 1954 pressured the League of Nations and the British government to back off on their commitment to the Balfour agreement; thus, Israel received a small percent of the land intended for it.
  • At the time of the Balfour Agreement (1917), the saying was “the sun never set on the British empire” because they had so much land worldwide. Today, the British have lost control of the same percentage of land that they had reneged on with Israel in the Balfour agreement.
  • The Exxon Valdez accident happened less than 48 hours after George H.W. Bush and James Baker opened talks with the Palestinians on March 22, 1989. The Valdez accident began late the night of March 23 with the first spill at 12:05 a.m. on March 24.
  • The Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico began on April 20 — at the very time Obama’s team was pressuring Israel to restart talks.
  • The two largest oil spills in U.S. history corresponded to U.S. actions on Israel’s covenant land. They have also caused America to forego more offshore exploration and become even more reliant on rogue nations for oil.

…Barack Obama may have to answer for the millions in campaign contributions he’s taken from the oil and gas giant [BP] over the years …”

Peace in Middle East?

‘Co-incidentally’ to Lance Lambert hearing from the Lord, on 18 April Iran’s president again voiced his implicit intentions of completing Hitler’s ‘final solution’:

“The Zionist regime is on its way to collapse. This regime is the main instigator of sedition and conflict in the region,” the Iranian president added. “This is the will of the regional nations that after 60 odd years, the root of this corrupt microbe and the main reason for insecurity in the region be pulled out … Its supporters and creators ought to stop backing it and allow the regional nations and the Palestinians to settle things with them…”

It’s worth noting, therefore, that the Icelandic volcano spread ashes over northern Europe during Holocaust Remembrance Week 11-18 April !!

Coincidences, or real acts of God?

Friends – does the sudden burst from an Icelandic volcano that’s been bubbling quietly for some weeks indicate God is trying to get our attention?
 
Why just happen when an area of high pressure is conveniently placed south of that island so that winds get circulated directly to our island 1000 miles away?
 
Could the following facts point to divine intention?
 
Headline 6pm BBC News Wed 14 April – UK scientists create embryos formed from man and TWO women! I realised that directly breaks one of God’s ordinances; so will He respond? [Details at link 1 below – and CEO of Christian Medical Fellowship provides incisive comments, his blog’s penultimate para is especially pertinent; see 2.]
 
Another 6pm headline – UK Watchdog bans Israel’s tourism advert showing the Wailing Wall, ‘because the ad implied the part of East Jerusalem featured in the image was part of the state of Israel’ [3]. In other words, the ASA is following the European and American dictats of denying the city to the descendents of its ancient Jewish citizens [4].
 
The VERY NEXT day all airports in Britain and northern Europe are closed down, 150,000 of our tourists stranded abroad and hundreds of thousands stuck here or overseas unable to travel through Europe!! Days of upheaval and consequential huge financial losses were to follow – a foretaste of the Tribulation? Perhaps the Lord is applying the Isaiah 25 prophetic scenario (see espec v5)?
