CONSPIRACY THEORY?

A commentator on a Facebook item about the effect of Covid-19 and lockdowns took me to task after having inserted a link to my post on the scandalous scientific fraud exposed by Dr Yan’s team of virologists. He pointed to an article about why it’s better for Christians to avoid conspiracy theories. However, that team’s research and finding do not fall in that category – but was I expecting too much for a critic to have read their full report before leveling any judgement?? Also, we believers DO need to use our rational, intellectual capabilities for examining issues – after all we’re to be judges in Father’s Kingdom.

In blogging briefly on the Belgian medical professionals’ open letter expressing deep concern over their governments’ handling of Covid-19 (Checking up on falsehoods… refers), I reiterated that I don’t have time for checking out conspiracy theories – and that goes for the widespread claims about scientists’ advice to our Prime Minister (some of which do make valid arguments).  Life’s busy enough writing and trying to keep up with events without additional on-screen activity – and we never waste time with the British Brainwashing Cult!!

Hence, re-blogging We Are Being Lied To by Wanda Alger and recommending anyone wanting to keep tabs on the issue to visit Spirit-Body-Soul (Facebook), where Jonathan Ely monitors a myriad of news sources.

However, I believe it is well to keep you, my reader, informed as and when appropriate, time allowing.

The UK Press, especially the Telegraph’s journalists, are highly sceptical of ministerial handling of the Covid-19 issue; as Daily Mail emphasises on Wednesday’s front-page:

It turns out that whilst President Trump was in hospital with Covid-19 on Sunday 4th October, a declaration signed by thousands of medical and public health scientists and medical practitioners was issued in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, as shown below (click image to read in full) – a noteworthy coincidence is it not?

ON TOP OF THAT, there’s more disconcerting news in the UK, as science editor Sarah Knapton reports today (emphases mine):

‘A re-analysis of the Imperial University modelling that led to lockdown in March shows shutting schools and preventing youngsters from mingling may have had the counter-intuitive effect of actually killing more people.

‘In a study published in the BMJ, Edinburgh University (7 October) predicted that over the entire course of the pandemic, keeping children out of classrooms would increase deaths by between 80,000 and 95,000. Likewise, social distancing of everyone, rather than just the over-70s, could cost between 149,000 and 178,000 lives.

‘Experts say the virus was able to spread faster to vulnerable people once lockdown measures were introduced than if some level of immunity had been allowed to build up in the young....

‘The Government locked down the country after Imperial modelling showed that 500,000 people could die and the NHS would be overwhelmed.

‘But Imperial had also predicted that no mitigation strategy could lower deaths to fewer than 200,000 without a vaccine, and suppressing the virus would merely delay an even deadlier resurgence.

‘The authors of the new paper, who rediscovered the figures in their reappraisal, said the Government appeared to have chosen to protect the NHS in the short term, rather than save lives throughout the whole epidemic. Although it reduced peak demand for ICU beds, it prolonged the epidemic, resulting in more long-term Covid-19 deaths…’

Checking up on falsehoods about Covid-19

As mentioned mid-June when introducing Wanda Alger’s We’re Being Lied To! Are You Watching the Spirit or the Screen?, I don’t have time for checking conspiracy theories in any depth – some of which do make valid arguments. However, since seeking the Lord about the origin of Covid-19 (He replied: “It is man-made”), I’m aware of the increase in diabolical schemes to prevent what the Lord’s doing prior to His Return. (Wanda’s stark warning wisely points to the course church leaders should now be taking to enable the Bride of Christ prepare for ruling and reigning with Him.)

On 2nd April in Fulfilled Prophecy #10.10 Exposure of Lies and Corruption Includes China, Iran I covered prophet Tomi Arayomi on “The Biggest Lie You Never Heard”, in which he separated the facts from conjecture.

Therefore, and especially in view of what I heard by way of its 5th and most absolute validation from one of the top Chinese virologists at the top coronavirus lab in the world, and who was “deeply investigating in secret from the early beginning of this outbreak”, it is important to draw my readers’ attention to issues of great public concern.

In view of its gravity, I don’t hesitate to reiterate Dr Li-Meng Yan’s interview in which she confirms Covid-19 is NOT from nature but created in the lab to target humans, and intentionally spread globally to create damage.

Those who’ve been reading this blog since the EU Referendum may recall my strong recommendation to visit Jonathan Ely’s Why Leave The EU? (Facebook) where he maintains a journal of relevant news on Brexit.

Similarly, he’s assiduously logged news data on Spirit Body Soul (Facebook), and its  website has a highly informative reference page, all about Coronavirus.   

It is from the first that I noticed the above, opening DOCS4 item which reads as follows:

‘We, Belgian doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore.
The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.
We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties.’

As the Belgians, our erstwhile EU protagonists, are making a serious petition to their leaders then shouldn’t we Brits challenge government decision?

I could quote many other sources, but here’s Fraser Nelson on Anchorless Boris…:

I’m told, for example, that the Government is sitting on a study that will prove, beyond all reasonable doubt, that local lockdowns work.’

Discussions and prophecies of 6-months ago on the pandemic have been at the back of my mind for the past week or so. Maybe that prompted me after waking today to wonder if there’s been any news of Dr Li-Meng Yan’s revelations, as in my blog of mid-July on Fulfilled Prophecy #10.13 – more exposure of Covid-19 culpability, viz:

Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised (but perhaps shouldn’t be by now!) after arriving at my desk for this pre-weekend blogging day. On checking one of the pc’s browser tabs I noticed the third item in this news from USA:

On Tuesday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson specifically asked Dr. Li-Meng Yan,

‘whether she believed the Chinese Communist Party released the virus “on purpose.” “Yes, of course, it’s intentionally,” she responded on Tucker Carlson Tonight. Yan said more evidence would be released but pointed to her own high-ranking position at a World Health Organization reference lab as a reason to trust her allegation…

“I work[ed] in the WHO reference lab, which is the top coronavirus lab in the world, in the University of Hong Kong. And the thing is, I get deeply into such investigation in secret from the early beginning of this outbreak. I had my intelligence because I also get my own unit network in China, involved [in] the hospital … also I work with the top corona[virus] virologist in the world,” she said…

“So, together with my experience, I can tell you this is created in the lab… and also, spread to the world to create damage..”

‘Yan said she was one of the first scientists in the world to study the novel coronavirus, fled China and currently fears retaliation. She was allegedly asked by her supervisor at the University/WHO reference lab, Dr. Leo Poon, in 2019 to look into the odd cluster of SARS-like cases coming out of mainland China at the end of December 2019…’

This makes the 5th occasion I’ve seen news headlines validating the answer I believe the Lord gave me when, on retiring to bed on 23rd March, I wanted to know Covid-19’s origin and whether He’d sent this global pestilence. He answered upon my awaking; “It’s man-made!”

PREFACE: Again, what I wrote on a Wednesday got confirmed within hours! (Previous)

After drafting this yesterday afternoon, I was ‘God-smacked’ and undone upon hearing a young man of 22 years expressing similar sentiments about the Church as I had at that age and earlier. And upon my reading out my references to scripture, he stunned me by saying the Lord’s been drawing his attention to the verses that strongly affected me!  Having graduated from Bible college, he’s about to plant a new church in London and apply that scripture; whereas over 50 years ago I got led astray through a personal perception. Today’s young apostolic church-planter is the son of the leader whom I’d already mentioned in the opening sentence below!!  Praise You Lord for such God-incidence – awesome!

Entitled ‘The importance of holy mysteries to Christian discipleship and prophecy,’ I didn’t anticipate this draft’s prophetic nature and later realised it’s better published in two parts under a fresh title.

Earlier this year a prophetic leader of new church had a picture for me during a ‘refresh’ coffee morning. Seeing a megaphone turn into a laser, he said it’s time for my blogging to move from ‘broad-brush’ coverage to a narrower, more incisive focus.  Hence, the fewer re-blogs of others’ prophecies unless they’re related to what I already know or can sense (thus confirmations or validations as ‘jigsaw pieces’ and ‘God-incidences’), or else are of especial significance.

Therefore as done recently, my personally-related introductions to re-blogs of others’ prophetic material. The next, by Thomas Harry, is directly relevant to my journey and  necessitates this full introductory blog to prepare our understanding of what Jesus is telling today’s Church.  As in #1, this comes with Thomas’ blessing for my action.

THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM

First and foremost, we need to consider what ‘mystery’ means in the Word of God:

His disciples came to Jesus and said, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” and He replied, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him (and her) more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand…” (Matthew 13:10-13 NKJV)

The New Spirit-Filled Study Bible provides this definition:

‘Mystery’, Greek ‘musterion’ (moos-tay-ree-on; Strongs #3466). From mueo, “to initiate into the mysteries”, hence a secret known only to the initiated, something hidden requiring special revelation. In the NT the word denotes something that people could never know by their own understanding and that demands a revelation from God. The secret thoughts, plans and dispensations of God remain hidden from unregenerate mankind, but are revealed to all believers. In non-biblical Greek musterion is knowledge withheld, concealed or silenced. In biblical Greek it is truth revealed (Col 1:26). NT musterion focuses upon Christ’s sinless life, atoning death, powerful resurrection and dynamic ascension.’

Jesus’ meaning of ‘mysteries’ is implicit in Apostle Paul’s writing to the church in Corinth on the western side of the isthmus between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese peninsular:

‘Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God‘ (1Cor 4:1)…‘And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing’ (1Cor 13.2)…’For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.’ (1 Cor 14.2)

References to ‘mystery’ appear nearly two dozen times, again mainly by Paul plus a few in The Apocalypse.  BUT note there are no references to either variant of the word in the Old Testament – so it appears this reference and related teaching were reserved only for new revelations that Jesus brought from our heavenly Father and God.

Moreover, that differential between Testaments emphasises a divine origin of especially reserved knowledge and revelation compared to that claimed for the supposed mystery schools of pagan religions, like those of ancient Egypt.

In my humble opinion, the meaning of ‘holy mystery’ is little understood and appreciated – perhaps even by those well-grounded in scripture – but is slowly improving as a result of the increasing interest in the prophetic.

As Biblical and anointed modern prophecy are dovetailing in these End-times, that state of awareness needs to change up a gear or two. Thus, all earnest followers of Jesus need to dive deeper into His living waters to be immersed in His mysteries.

Yet we do need to be wise and careful, and learning of the error in my own searching for those mysteries before I was blessed to be born-again may be a warning and help.

A PRE-CHRISTIAN JOURNEY

Readers of the two recent postings on the ‘God-incidental’ 21st anniversary of the solar eclipse of 1999 and ‘GPS #50’ on Luke 21 and the ‘Bridge over The Pond’ may recall the reference to my mother’s Catholic Sunday Missal.

When I was a youngster she’d take me to Sunday mass, yet I wasn’t sent to a Catholic school. The Latin liturgy was rather a bore but I began to pay attention to the readings in English and how they related to the Sunday’s picture in the Missal.

[NB: Next 2 paragraphs were read aloud to the young church-planter – Preface refers]

I recall thinking it must have been awesome to have been around Jesus and seen all He said and did. Also, two especially significant verses heard or read in mother’s book got embedded into my brain and, although buried in the unconscious, never got overwritten.

One was of Jesus telling his disciples they’d do greater works than He was doing! The other was by one of His closest followers and who surmised at the close of his Gospel account: ‘If everything He’d done was written down there wouldn’t be enough room in the world to contain the books!’  (John 14:12 and 21:25)

In view of that eye-witness account and modern churches’ failure in the greater works, plus misrepresentation of their founder, I became convinced a lot of what Jesus taught had been lost, or even suppressed, by the early church. The truth must be out there somewhere, and so I decided to investigate and search it out for myself.

Next, having learned about the Western esoteric tradition, I was attracted at 21 years of age to a society that published books on the ‘mystical life’ and ‘secret doctrines’ of Jesus, thus claiming He was one of many perfected ‘masters’! Their claims were based upon Jesus introducing His disciples to the ‘mysteries’ – including reincarnation (Elijah coming as John the Baptist). Supposedly, these secret teachings continued down through the centuries in the practice of Gnosticism, the early Church’s great opponent that attracted false teachers and prophets. Gnostics claimed their initiation into the ‘mysteries’ brought them special revelations and wisdom, thereby setting them above ordinary followers of Jesus, as well as engendering all sorts of heretical theologies.

So, as a young man I got enticed and ensnared in the devil’s domain but only through the grace of Jesus Christ’s personal intervention was I brought into His Kingdom. He put me in a church that gave me a good grounding in scripture and pointing me in the right for receiving deliverance from the evil one. That’s another story, as outlined in Jesus Freed Me!

Having been immersed in that non-Christian, esoteric knowledge, I can attest that the difference between that deceptive discipline and holy revelations from the Lord is like the contrast between His Light and the devil’s darkness.

Born-again Christians have a personal, direct relationship with Jesus and so we can  hear His voice ourselves, and receive and operate in gifts from the Holy Spirit. Even so, all we perceive from Father, Son and Holy Spirit is to be weighed and tested against the plumb-line of the scriptures.

In the next post (scheduled for tomorrow) Revd Thomas Harry, senior leader of Falkirk Full Gospel Church, brings anointed teaching on “several scriptures that will turn our thinking upside down, simply by rightly dividing the Word of truth, by interpreting scripture by using scripture…to give believers a sample of where God is taking this generation….”

On the Mysteries of the Kingdom: God-incidence #1 – maths in scripture!

Having seen another profound paper from pastor Thomas Harry I’m led to precede my introduction to it by reminding ourselves of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. (It is purely for information but I thank those who may wish to read the links.) Thomas kindly responded to my intention with,

“Your style of Intro is perfect and encourages people so I am full of support for it, rather than just a link. I enjoyed the link on mysteries, also was a blessing.”

A MATHEMATICAL GOD-INCIDENCE

Four years ago a series of overviews on the growing rapprochement between science and scripture were featured on this blog. It included a particularly peculiar ‘coincidence’ between my Summer-time reading and a physicist’s blog entitled Pure, Breathtaking Mathematical Beauty, which centred around ‘The Euler Identity’. What’s amazing is I’d already read how that same formula is hidden within the Hebrew and Greek of the first verses of the first chapters of Genesis and of the Gospel by John!

Therefore, I blogged on this news in Astonishing Mathematics; the conjunction between Creation, Gospel and Science? and introduced ‘Unlocking The Sign Miracles of John’ by Jonathan Hill. A continuation was posted after re-blogging Joanne Rolston’s Number 153, Signs & Symbols (whom Jesus personally encouraged to venture into His mathematics!) and more details in A Post-Resurrection Miracle as a ‘Mystery’ Now Revealed.

That post also considered the modern definition of ‘mystery’ as an unsolved puzzle, or something difficult or impossible to explain – which is rather trite. When using that term, even eminent mathematician-physicist Sir Roger Penrose tends toward a circumscribed perception of reality, as quoted and discussed in that posting.

That blog continued by quoting Jesus on holy mysteries, as at Matthew 13, which we’ll revisit in ‘God-incidence #2’.

Midnight news confirms yesterday’s blog on Covid-19 effects

This news will come as no surprise to those who read my blog of yesterday in which I give more details of a report cited by William Koenig that foresees post-Covid debility. Naturally, I take no delight whatsoever in getting a ‘bull’s eye’ on this occasion!  So please take note:

In the first minute of today a report reflecting my blog’s content was published by the Telegraph. Their science editor Sarah Knapton begins her report as follows:

“Long Covid” is genuine and leaves patients suffering debilitating symptoms for many months after their recovery from coronavirus, experts have confirmed.  Campaign groups supporting survivors of the virus have previously warned that doctors are dismissing ongoing problems or misdiagnosing the ongoing effects of Covid-19 as chronic fatigue syndrome.

‘But in the first study to show a conclusive pattern, researchers at North Bristol NHS Trust found that three quarters of virus patients treated at Bristol’s Southmead Hospital were still experiencing problems three months later. Symptoms included breathlessness, excessive fatigue and muscle aches, leaving people struggling to wash, dress and return to work.

‘Dr David Arnold, of North Bristol NHS Trust, said: “This research helps to describe what many coronavirus patients have been telling us – they are still breathless, tired, and not sleeping well months after admission.” 

The medical report in Koenig’s Eye View from the White House published 10th July states specifically (emphases mine):

‘..we will have residual side-effects and most likely more to come because we are asking our bodies to deal with an issue they have not faced before in all of humanity. No one is prepared for this. Not even those who most likely sequenced this virus know or understand the residual effects nor will they with the next Covid-20…’

PERSONAL NOTE

Once again, timing proves extraordinary and – even in perversity – demonstrates this is all part of the Lord’s ‘invisible jigsaw’. Being Thursday, today would be devoted primarily to blogging, and my looser schedule for summer-time means items don’t get written or replied to until free-time becomes available. I’d laid aside, therefore, any intention of re-publishing Stephen Mosher’s article on professor Tritto’s denunciations. News of Matt Hancock’s announcement, however, needed attention and required addition of Mosher’s relevant item.

It just so happens (!!) that we swapped our Wed and Thurs around for a coffee morning for a friend. AND it just so happens the weather co-operated too, because this morning was fine and sunny for sitting in the garden, whereas all yesterday was heavy rain and only fit for my being indoors. HENCE, I was able to see that news item and write two blogs on it and the related material – as here and then here!!!

Therefore, had our personal schedule not been re-arranged and the weather complied with both days’ activities, then yesterday’s blog would not have given a relevant lead-in to the article Sarah Knapton was about to write, if not already writing!

AND neither you nor I would be any the wiser over any of this….so ‘Thank You, Lord’!

Gov’t announcement hints at real cause of Covid-19 chaos (F/P #121.10.5)

Astute readers of my blogs will have realised the inference behind those on covid-19 as a man-made virus; especially when reading extracts from a letter sent to editor William Koenig at his desk in the White House, as cited in 3rd Validation.  Not having quoted the penultimate paragraph of that medic’s report in full, we now need to consider their well-researched, professional opinion:

‘The question is this: How do our bodies react “normally” to an abnormal bio-engineered virus? The answer . . . they don’t! Nor should they. This is not something mankind has dealt with over the entire world until now. Of course, we will have residual side-effects and most likely more to come because we are asking our bodies to deal with an issue they have not faced before in all of humanity. No one is prepared for this. Not even those who most likely sequenced this virus know or understand the residual effects nor will they with the next Covid-20, which we think will peak late September/early October 2020 and be even more virulent…’  (emphases/colouring RB)

Hence, governmental confusion and incompetence whilst endeavouring to protect citizens’ health in the best way possible! In other words, they’re trying to deal with a biological weapon. Hopefully, the beneficial outcome will be for nations to agree on the world-wide banning of biological weapons..

Therefore, at lunch-time yesterday I took particular notice of news of an announcement by the Health Secretary, viz:

Daily Telegraph Newsfeed Tuesday 18th August 2020


For the sake of clarity and in event of image not being legible, here’s the important content (emphases mine):  ‘…Speaking at the Policy Exchange think tank, Mr Hancock said: “Today, I am announcing that we are forming a new organisation, the National Institute for Health Protection…

“The National Institute for Health Protection will have a single and relentless mission to protect people from external threats to this country’s health such as biological weapons, pandemics and of course infectious diseases of all kinds.”

“It will combine our world-class talent and science infrastructure with the growing response capabilities of NHS Test and Trace and the sophisticated analytic capability we are building in the Joint Biosecurity Centre.”

That is, we are no longer on the edge of biological warfare but now dealing with its application – even if accidentally released, as in this global pandemic. 

So, just perhaps, after failing to learn the lessons from Exercise Cygnus four years ago, the government has decided to hint at the true nature of this untamable viral beast?

Symbolic of Holy Spirit's active power across the Atlantic

In republishing Ben Kay’s email in the previous post I couldn’t but conclude, “The Lord is getting our attention – has he got yours?” I wasn’t being flippant, simply stressing it’s well to give our serious consideration to what Ben had not planned on writing!

But I wasn’t prepared for the Lord immediately getting on my case – and doubly so!

It was about a geographical-cum-spiritual aspect I’d sensed – together with a totally unexpected reference by a reader to a hidden, textual attribute behind my reacting to and promoting Ben’s encouragement.

Ben states the total solar eclipse of 11th August 1999, “started in the Atlantic (not far from where the Mayflower’s Pilgrims first settled), speeding across the ocean at around 2,000 km/h before making landfall, crossing both Devon and Cornwall…”

However, in watching the animated video of its passage and carefully noting the origin and path of the small dot representing the totality of eclipse, I was reminded of a concept I’d started blogging about 44 (11 x 4) months ago – Bridge over ‘The Pond’ – ie. an imaginary, supra-natural bridge linking Britain with North America used by Holy Spirit for delivering the same, or similar, teaching, messages or prophetic words on opposite sides of the North Atlantic ocean on the same, or next, day.

That sudden beginning of the ‘invisible’ moon’s effect upon the sun during daytime hours brings a brief glimpse into Isiaah 13:10…

For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not give their light;
The sun will be darkened in its going forth,
And the moon will not cause its light to shine.

Let’s take a closer look and analysis of that day’s event, courtesy of Google Maps

NASA/Goddard Flight Centre describes its path: ‘The last total solar eclipse of the 20th century begins in the North Atlantic about 300 km (190 ml) south of Nova Scotia where the Moon’s umbral shadow first touches down on Earth at 09:30:57 UT. Along the sunrise terminator, the maximum duration is a mere 47 seconds as seen from the center of the narrow 49 kilometers-wide path. No major landfall occurs for the first forty minutes as the shadow sweeps across the North Atlantic. The umbra finally reaches the Isles of Scilly off the southwestern coast of England at 10:10 UT (Figure 6 – below)

At this locale, it is already mid-morning with the Sun 45° above the eastern horizon… One minute later (10:11 UT), the umbra arrives along the shores of the Cornwall Peninsula. In the following four minutes, the shadow skirts the southern coast giving eager observers a brief taste of totality. Plymouth, the largest English city in the path, is north of center line and witnesses a total phase lasting 1 minute 39 seconds. London misses the total phase but experiences partiality…By 10:16 UT, the umbra leaves England as it quickly traverses the English Channel…Not since 1961 has the Moon cast its dark shadow upon central Europe…’ (emphases added)

I recall watching it from central Reading, noting the eerie effect of diminished daylight, but now I’m intrigued that the linked illustration could mirror the construction plan of a massive bridge – like Evgeni Denev’s ‘Endless Bridge’ shown above, the three circles shown in Fig 6 representing a bridge’s columnar piers.

North America’s New England and ‘New Scotland’ – all ‘Newly-Found-Land’

The ‘Mayflower’ was the English galleon that transported the first Puritans, known today as the ‘Pilgrim Fathers’, in 1620 from Plymouth (famous for its role in the sighting and defeat of the Spanish Armada) over the Atlantic to the New World. They were Bible-believing, ‘non-conformist’ Christians seeking religious freedom and tolerance far away from both Catholic and Protestant Europe in our American colonies. That event was the birth of a strong Christian bond that has grown between the UK and USA, despite all the differences in church-state relationships and theological emphases.

After a gruelling 10 weeks at sea, the Mayflower’s 102 passengers and crew of about 30 reached America, dropping anchor near the tip of Cape Cod on November 11, 1620. (NB. double number 11 in that arrival date: 11th day of 11th month, 400 years ago!! So maybe it’s of significance (see Footnote 2 of previous post)?

After hitting the ‘publish’ button for the previous post at 17:30 on Tuesday, I visited the post to hit ‘share Facebook’ button and thereby put it on my personal profile.

I was so amazed to note a response got flagged up within minutes, and upon reading the comment I got well and truly ‘God-smacked!’ It was directly related to what I’d sensed! AND from over the ‘Pond’ in Nova Scotia – Maxine Phyllis writes:

“Oh, thank God you posted that. I had forgotten all about it. August 11 was also the date of my wedding thirty years ago and the number 21 has figured prominently in my life. I connect it to the archangel Michael in the book of Daniel – he had to fast 21 days before receiving a visitation from Michael. Also, I was 21 years old when I first met the Lord in a powerful encounter outdoors, after a vehicle accident in the Yukon wilderness of Canada. I was amazed that I was unharmed and simply spoke out into the air ‘God are you there?’ Immediately an answer came and hit me like a lightening bolt – “I Am”. From then until now I’ve heard Him speak to me about Michael, and how Michael is needed to deliver the Church out of the influence of Babylon. Also, it is the archangel Michael who overcomes the devil himself along with the word of our testimonies from those who didn’t shrink back from death (and I would be one). Hallelujah for the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns!!”

Some minutes later Maxine commented along similar lines on the actual post itself. BUT what she – and other readers – did not know was her references to Archangel Michael are not only directly relevant but also validate Ben and my personal references to Luke 21:28!

How? Why? Nowhere within Luke’s record of Jesus’ prophecy about the destruction of Jerusalem as well as End-time events is there any reference to angelic involvement. But now look fully at my dear mother’s Sunday Missal; of which page 67 only is shown at the close of the previous post for its highlit verse is the reason I immediately reacted to Ben’s quoting Luke 21:28 > >

The preceding page 66 is headed by Pope Leo XIII’s prayer to Michael the Archangel penned after a dread vision of God and satan on 13th October 1884 and the future of the Church. (This page completed the whole liturgy with Latin on left-hand-pages and English on right. Thenceforth, pages show Sundays sequentially in the liturgical year with illustration of the theme of each mass followed by relevant scriptures, as shown.)

NOW BELIEVE ME – I’m hurrying to finish this off for an early start to our weekend but THAT number 66 was also mentioned by Jonathan Hill when writing about number 11, (Footnote 2 of previous refers). Please understand that his following notes are NOT directly related to my above remarks and any anecdotal coincidence or meanings. His knowledge of Hebrew numbers is related purely to the scriptures, as developed in his two seminal books. In this week’s email referred to earlier, Jonathan writes:

“For a deeper understanding of these events, we need to know the biblical meaning of two numbers, the number ‘666’ which is associated with the final anti-Christ in Revelation 13:18 and the number ‘66’ – a less known biblical number. As it happens, the number ‘66’ is associated with ‘forerunner’ anti-Christs of 1 John 2:18 because of the Old Testament character Absalom who is a strong type of the final anti-Christ (because he usurped David’s throne). Absalom is first mentioned in the Bible in 2 Samuel 3:3 and this verse has a numerical value of 666 (Ordinal method). Moreover, the Hebrew name of ‘Absalom’, in this same verse, has a numerical value of ‘66’ Another important reference to ‘66’ in scripture is in 1 John 2:18 where the Greek words ‘even now’, as an adverbial phrase of time (regarding forerunner anti-Christs rising), have a numerical value of ‘66’ (και [20] νυν [46]).

“…11th triangular number is ‘66’ and so ‘11’s and the number ‘66’ are biblical markers concerning events closely preceding the Millennium and forerunner anti-Christs… Two notable forerunner anti-Christs (anti-Semitics and anti-capitalists) were Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden who both died a violent death exactly 66 years apart (to the day).”

Thus, an exceptionally intriguing ‘coincidence’ of a prayer for protection on a page 66.

THE LORD’S GPS

Readers know my thoughts on the Lord using His own GPS system, or Global Prophecy Signalling system. This 50th is an excellent example because the eclipse includes the locations of a couple of recipients of His ‘message’ – Ben Kay in Plymouth, Devon, is the first recipient, joint seconds are Jonathan Hill (W Sussex) and myself (E Hants) as I was reading his email about number 11 when Ben’s arrived, and Maxine over ‘The Pond’ in Nova Scotia, Canada, is fourth.

Doesn’t it make you wonder what awesome things are coming our way from the Lord? And perhaps how the 400th Anniversary of arrival of the ‘Mayflower’ in America may be of great significance in His plans???

To Him alone be all the Glory.

‘God-incidence’ of 11 and 21st (3×7) anniversary of solar eclipse – “Look up for your redemption draws nigh!”

Not bothering to note today’s date, my intended online priority after the days morning tasks was to respond to a reference to number 11’s meaning by Jonathan Hill in his weekend email. BUT after opening my in-tray, what then dropped in from Ben Kay in Plymouth ‘God-incidentally’ highlights ’11’!! “ACE, absolutely brill Ben”, I immediately respond in my seeking his permission to copy; and so he puts it into perspective: 

“Glad that this email has hit the mark. It was interesting how it came about as I had no intention to write all these things until late last night when I sensed the Lord reminding me about the eclipse and prompting me to write an encouragement. It took a few hours but managed to get it sent out this morning thankfully. I meant to be writing… but sensed this interruption to my plans last night were from the Lord so decided to go with the flow…!”

Let’s ‘get in the flow’ of what the Lord’s indicating through Ben, as told under this title from Luke 21:28 (NB 7×3:7×4):

“LOOK UP…FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH!”

Normally I simply send out dates and information about prayer meetings (such as the next PRAY UK meeting on 22nd August!)

However, this is a simple encouragement to keep pressing on when you may be feeling the pressure of life… to keep on looking up when you might be feeling down…and a reminder that we are held in the palm of the One who holds the whole world in His hands.

‘…I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me…Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 3 vs 12-14)

Last night, I remembered that today is a special anniversary for those in Devon and Cornwall who, 21 years ago today, witnessed the magnificent spectacle of the 1999 solar eclipse.

Indeed, you may have seen the special marker that was placed near Plymouth Hoe (by the cannons on Madeira Road) to remind us of this special moment. It is in the shape of a cross on the pavement.

‘X’ marks the spot where at the 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day of August 1999, the sun was turned to darkness and the moon turned a blood red colour above Plymouth and the surrounding region, and there followed 2 minutes of eerie darkness in the middle of the day, before the light of the sun broke through once again.

As I look back on this day with a sense of awe, I’m reminded of who it is that not only created the earth, the moon and the sun but actually brought them into alignment and scheduled this special moment at the beginning of time. For no solar eclipse randomly happens but each one was timetabled from the moment of creation.

‘And God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years…”‘ (Genesis 1:14 KJV emphasis mine)

By all accounts (eg. Wikipedia’s Solar Eclipse of 11th August, 1999), this was a special eclipse. This was ‘one of the most-viewed solar eclipses in the whole of human history’ and the first that could be viewed from the UK since 1927.

As illustrated therein, the total eclipse started in the Atlantic (not far from where the Mayflower’s Pilgrims first settled), speeding across the ocean at around 2000km/h before making landfall, crossing both Devon and Cornwall. Interestingly, the eclipse then went from here to have an impact on the rest of Europe as well as parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia…2 billion people in all!

There are many prophetic words that have been spoken about the region over the years indicating that God is about to do something special. Given that an eclipse can also be defined as an ‘over-shadowing’, perhaps God’s Spirit is brooding and getting ready to bring forth ‘fullness of life’ in this region as expressed in John 10:10’s  “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”.

Furthermore, perhaps the precise time and direction of the eclipse over Plymouth and the region indicates that an end-time revival of great magnitude is coming that will have an impact on multitudes throughout the nations.

But if life is tough right now, perhaps we just need to hang in there. In the natural, there is much pressure on a baby in the birthing canal just before it is born.

‘We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.’ (2 Corinthians 4 vs 8-9 TLB)

God is in control, even though we may feel everything is out of control.

‘and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose’. (Romans 8 v 28)

Not all things are good…but in all things, we trust God is working things out for our good and birthing His purposes and plans in our lives.

When we’re in the thick of it, sometimes it is hard to see the bigger picture.

Perhaps this recent prophetic word from Veronika West entitled, ‘It’s Time, Destiny’s Clock is Ticking‘, will serve as an encouragement to ‘look up’ at this time and keep ‘watching and praying’…

Here’s an excerpt from this relatively short word:

‘So stay watching and praying in these days, as the Winnowing Winds of My Spirit now blow upon the threshing floor of the Nations. Listen and pay close attention! Tick, tock, tick, tock…the sound of destiny’s clock can be heard in the realm of the Spirit. Do you hear it? Are you ready? Are you aligned and rightly positioned? Are you walking in time with My Spirit?

Beloved…See! For this is a kairos time…an appointed time in the earth…a time of divine Shifting, Sifting, Scattering and Separation has surely begun…for the Nations at a divine tipping point are now being Shifted…the wheat and the tares are now being Sifted…Yes!…and the demons of hell are now being Scattered and the goats and sheep Nations are now being Separated…Watch! As the Winnowing Winds of My Spirit now blow forth upon the Harvest fields of the Nations…Beloved, Get ready!!

This follows on from a recent dream Veronika West had in June 2020 (Hourglass of End-time Harvest).

Veronika explains, “This dream came with such an urgency of the times and the need to begin to cry out for the nations of the earth who are in the valley of decision. I believe this dream speaks to the 11th hour. A kairos time in the earth. An appointed time of the End-time Harvest!”

The details of the dream and Veronika’s interpretation take a little longer to read than the above prophetic word…but it is well worth reading and reflecting upon.

The dream concludes with the following words:

“Watch and Pray! For but a little while longer the Golden Revolving Door of The Ages and of Eternal Destiny stands open before the nations. As the days of My Grace and Mercy are poured out upon the nations, watch! For the time is here, for the 11th Hour Harvesters will herald the birthing of a new great awakening on the earth!”

Veronika’s dream reminds me of an encounter I had with God after attending a prayer meeting at Plymouth Christian Centre back in 2012. I was left with a clear sense that we’re living in the closing age of time before Jesus returns for His bride.

Anyhow, this has now turned out to be a much longer email than originally envisaged, so I’ll finish here with a couple of verses encouraging us to rouse to the reality of the time we are living in…

‘Besides this you know what [a critical] hour this is, how it is high time now for you to wake up out of your sleep (rouse to reality). For salvation (final deliverance) is nearer to us now than when we first believed (adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Christ, the Messiah). The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armour of light. (Romans 13 vs 11-12 AMPC)

3rd validation of “It’s man-made” coronavirus – a bio-weapon! (F/P #121.10-3)

“By the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.” (Deuteronomy 19:15)  ‘Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.’ (1 Corinthians 14:29)

Three closely related – but not apparently so – news items cropped up on Monday and, had my schedule allowed, they’d have been posted as a ‘Monday Morning Newsmix.’ However, they now make the ‘Mid-week Newsmix’ with the first being the previous item on mixed messages about face masks. Here’s the second:

PM Johnson is proposing legislation for public safety in the event of a second wave of the Covid-19, but is that the real reason?  Politicians are economical with the truth, but  maybe Boris has another agenda; one of preparing us for the possibility of biological warfare and terrorism! IF so, then he should say so.

PROPHETIC WORD & PREVIOUS VALIDATIONS:

Upon waking Tuesday morning 24th March 2020, I asked the Lord, “Is the pandemic from You?” ~ Then got an immediate answer: “No, it is man-made!” The detail behind this is in Another prophecy of 2019 revisited re. coronavirus – the Lord reveals its origin (see Footnotes).

1st > This word was considered further in Is the global pandemic from God’s hand? after learning about its first public validation in May, which came from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, as told in Does Security Intel Validate a Word on the Pandemic?

2nd > A few weeks later, in early June, another validation came from the former head of MI6, Sir Richard Dearlove, as told in Prophecy Coming To Pass: “Man-made Virus”.

FROM ‘INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE’

In easing off from years of blogging I decided not to follow US and Middle-Eastern news so closely and last year didn’t re-subscribe to William Koenig’s in-depth weekly Eye View from the White House. I’d read it and visited his World Watch Daily regularly.

As an accredited and long-established Christian reporter and analyst based in that centre of American government, Bill’s knowledge and insights and are especially valuable (see Bio’). Within weeks of launching this blog 8 years ago I covered his long-term investigation into Biblical, financial and historical cycles. It is cited in this blog’s reference section Time: Cycles and the Bible.

Weekly email notifications with brief summary continued arriving and last week’s was too tempting to resist. I renewed my subscription! I was very surprised to learn of what I’d missed as summarised in an update from Bill, which expands upon details gained in the above 2nd validation.

The Latest on Coronavirus

“I am sharing the following as a summary after (having) watched, researched and documented the coronavirus pandemic since January. I have corresponded with experts in the field. Below are a few informed thoughts. This is a serious pandemic because is a bio-engineered virus with multiple variants and very contagious…

“Covid-19 is a bio-terrorism weapon that was released (some think accidentally, some think intentionally) out of the Wuhan, China, Level 4 biological weapons facility. Dr. Boyle told me it has HIV within it and it also has nanotechnology, which was obtained from Dr. Charles Lieber, the Harvard Chemistry Department Chair who was on the Chinese Government payroll and arrested on January 28. Medical Doctor’s Explanation of the Bio-engineered Coronavirus

“The following note is from a medical doctor (whose perspective) I asked for…on the coronavirus, which she has treated …I highlighted the key parts:

‘We know specific virus types do not mutate with a completely different family of virus. In other words, in “nature” a coronavirus does not mutate with an HIV-1 virus. They mutate within their own viral species type but not with other viral types.

‘We understand from viral sequencing of Covid-19 that within the Sars-Cov-2 are mathematically and perfectly placed 4 glycoproteins called GP-120… These are the part of the HIV-1 virus responsible for the Cytokine storms causing severe lung damage and death in many patients.

‘This type of attachment of two completely different virus types does not happen in nature. Also, the GP-120 is so perfectly sequenced into Sar-CoV-2, we understand and know this does not happen in the “natural.” In the natural process there is room for sequences to be placed differently, giving a virus more “chance” to mutate. This is not so with Covid-19. They are “perfectly” sequenced—again giving the appearance this particular virus has been bio-engineered.

‘Normally our bodies are very adaptable to “natural” bacteria and viruses. However, we are NOT dealing with a “natural” viral prototype..

‘The question is this: How do our bodies react “normally” to an abnormal bio-engineered virus? The answer . . . they don’t! Nor should they. This is not something mankind has dealt with over the entire world until now…‘

Humiliating muddle of mixed messages re. face masks (F/P #165.3)

Yet again Prime Minister Johnson has shut the stable door after the horse has bolted!

With deaths in the UK now at the lowest since lock-down began in late March and then after its easing, as well as over the weekend, the government and scientists have been giving mixed messages about wearing masks and creating confusion. We’re told that ‘experts’ (like those who overestimated the scale of the ‘Chinese flu’ pandemic) expect another wave of coronavirus infections.

So ‘Bojo’ should be eating the ‘sombrero’ he wanted to stamp down (ie. peaked graph of outbreak of infections) because we’re now back into its brim of very low numbers – yet he now insists upon mandatory imposition of wearing masks in shops to protect others from the exhalation of possibly pathogenic aerosol particles.  BUT, masks are known – and demonstrably proven – to put the wearer’s own health at risk by increasing carbon dioxide levels with the consequential undesirable effects of oxygen deprivation!

CDC is a major operational arm of US Dept for Health & Human Services

As hinted by not a few writers, this implies we’re now into experimentation in controlling the population. The ‘thin end of the wedge’ is being driven further in for introducing and preparing people for the Mark of the Beast, as in Briefing 13.

Furthermore, it’s all another indication of November’s prophecy about the institutional and financial humiliation of Britain coming to pass (Fulfilled Prophecy #165.3)

On behalf of Canadian authorities, Drs Joseph Hickey and Dan Rancourt of the Ontario Civil Liberties Association have made scholarly representations to the Director General of the World Health Organisation to again reverse its recommendation of using masks.

I’ve read Dr Rancourt’s other paper in which he cites two dozen pre-Covid-19 studies supporting his claim Masks Don’t Work.  He’s formerly a professor at the University of Ottawa, and so I enquired of my science contact there, who responded:

“There are 2 sides to the science, which is unfortunately confusing (and)

  1. This is not a peer-reviewed publication. So it is not as reliable.
  2. Evidence used is for respiratory illness, not covid or coronavirus specifically.
  3. Humidity factor does not seem to be playing out in Southern USA, where Florida is having a second wave.”

In today’s Telegraph, science editor Sarah Knapton brings an up-to-date report and, like Dr Rancourt, refers to randomised control trials (RCTs) in her considerations in Do masks work? Here’s what the science says..

Unlocking the Biblical Watch of Messiah’s Return – Jonathan R. Hill

In our considering principles behind use of numbers and associated basic mathematics in the Bible, my catching up with the following news is timely – I’m pleased to learn that author Jonathan R. Hill is finding his researches also connect into Time!

Here’s the proofreaders’ clear recommendation circulated for Jonathan’s new book:

Kingdom mysteries – Jesus points to mathematics

His disciples came to Jesus and said, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” and He replied, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him (and her) more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand…” (Matthew 13:10-13 NKJV)

Definition: ‘Mystery’, Greek musterion (moos-tay-ree-on; Strongs #3466). From mueo, “to initiate into the mysteries”, hence a secret known only to the initiated, something hidden requiring special revelation. In the NT the word denotes something that people could never know by their own understanding and that demands a revelation from God. The secret thoughts, plans and dispensations of God remain hidden from unregenerate mankind, but are revealed to all believers. In non-biblical Greek musterion is knowledge withheld, concealed or silenced. In biblical Greek it is truth revealed (Col 1:26). NT musterion focuses upon Christ’s sinless life, atoning death, powerful resurrection and dynamic ascension.’ [New Spirit-Filled Study Bible]

The above, ancient meaning of ‘mystery’ is rarely understood and appreciated, even by those solidly grounded in scripture. As told in my testimony, my pre-Christian life got immersed in that esoteric knowledge, and so I’m experienced in this matter and can attest that the difference between that discipline and holy revelations from the Almighty is like the contrast between His Light and the devil’s darkness.

Astonishing mathematics within Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1

In our examining End-times we’ve completed 7 briefings, beginning with scriptures on the who, why, when and what of watching followed by an eschatologist’s challenge, a pastor’s vision and (my pre-Christian) unbeliever’s confrontation with the Bible and events!

Being the 8th Briefing, the next will begin another cycle and visit unusual scripture before venturing into others’ valuable insights. An interlude spent on three previous posts will help our understanding of what’s ahead.:

In mid-September 2016, as told here, a mathematician was writing about his favourite formula whilst I was reading about the very same thing buried deep in holy writ!

A multitude of times I’ve noticed crazy coincidences cropping up to give confirmation and more instruction upon certain topics, as though the Lord’s got His hammer and hitting me between the eyes to get my attention! This ‘God-incident‘ is the most extraordinary so far coming almost ‘simultaneously’ from both a secular, scientific standpoint and two fundamental scriptures.

An anniversary-cum-birthday holiday brought me opportunity to read a book at long last after a non-stop busy Summer. So I grabbed a couple from my pile, one of which, Unlocking the Sign Miracles of John by Jonathan R Hill, seemed on the lines of what I’d heard John Kilpatrick saying about the ‘sign miracles’ in the Gospel of John.

Flicking through it I noticed many references to the ‘Consummation of the Age’ (including chapter on its ‘mathematical foundation’), the ‘end-time’ prophetical significance of those miracles, as well as typologies, numerical aspects of Hebrew and Greek alphabets and calculations of time periods. Now, I take the last with a pinch of salt as they need careful checking, but am willing to consider and weigh new, even radical, concepts that don’t contradict scripture.

The book is based upon the work of Arthur Ware in The Restored Vision and quotes from Dr Grattan Guinness’ Light For The Last Days (whom another author quoted in seminal book The Invisible Hand, as told in End-Times Briefing 7). I’m aware of the ancient practice of substituting letters of original Hebrew and Greek alphabets with their ordinal (sequential) value and standard designated values known as gematria, which Hill uses. His book is annotated with cross-references throughout.

Without further ado, here are some introductory points and copies of a few specific pages to read carefully (enlarge for ease of reading):

‘But God does not stop with types, as each letter of the two original languages of the Bible, Hebrew for the Old Testament and Greek for the New Testament, encapsulates a numerical value. Words and collections of sequential words have a mathematical identity which, therefore, extends the surface narrative. Any agreement between this underlying numerical pattern and the surface meaning or doctrine, affixes considerable authenticity to the text…Only a personable supernatural God could inject such intrinsic connectivity within a book written in two languages with different alphabets, by multiple authors and across two millennia‘ (emphasis mine).

‘The only reference in the (NT) to individual letters is actually in John’s Gospel – ‘And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never studied?” John 7:15 NKJV (page 20).

‘The existence of a relationship between the surface meaning of the text, the type and the underlying mathematical value has long been known in Jewish Rabbinic tradition’ – see Wiki Pardes (Jewish Exegesis) (page 160).

Page 38: ‘…Before returning to the details of the progression of seven days, one more scientific digression is to be considered. A simple ratio of letters to words in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 yields the following fundamental mathematical constants seen in figure 4’ – continues below (NB: especially note first footnote):

Mathematician Joseph’s Jaw-dropping Email

Upon returning home on the closing days of September and opening the accumulation of email, I soon read a notification of new post sent the preceding weekend from Joseph at Rationalising the Universe, the early part of which reads:

‘Today I write a short post about something close to my own heart; and to so many others in the field of mathematics which is the notion of mathematical beauty. That is, deriving aesthetic satisfaction from mathematical work (which in my opinion is on a level far above any painting, sculpture or photograph can ever achieve). There is no one defined notion of mathematical beauty; as with the more regular notion of of human beauty there often is a general consensus but it is down to personal taste. Here I summarise some areas in which mathematics in my eyes is at its most beautiful.

‘In this area I take a commonly cited example of Euler’s formula, which was showered with praise by the late great Richard Feynman, who used to refer to the formula as “our jewel”. Let me first present the general version of the formula…’

(He explains formula linking trigonometrical with the exponential form and when ‘x’ takes the value of ‘pi’ it becomes the Euler’s identity, as in Hill’s book above):

‘That is incredibly powerful mathematics summarised in a short, elegant looking formula which revels so much. To me this is incredibly beautiful…’

I was left utterly ‘God-smacked’!

So, next we’ll check Jesus’ mathematical miracle…

  1. The theorem uses the five most important constants of mathematics: zero (0), unity (1), ‘e’, the exponential number describing growth and decay ‘e’, ‘pi’ the ratio of a circle’s diameter to its circumference, ‘i’ the basic imaginary number which, if it did exist, equals the square root of -1.

HE IS RISEN! – Time and Quantum effects in Jesus’ Resurrection

First published in the early years of this blog and repeated annually:

In preparation for the Holy-days’ weekend Nina creates a tableau for contemplating Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. She’s inspired about what items to collect and arrange, usually including a rock with a central hole eroded by the sea and which we found on a beach. It serves as both the ‘skull’ and garden tomb of Golgotha. For example, the above display has a scarf as a ‘river of life’ flowing out of the empty cave/tomb below the cross. (In 2012 it gave an insight that I’ll share below.)

Maundy Thursday is celebrated as the night when Jesus and the lead-disciples ate an early Passover Seder, or meal (see video explanation). Following the meal, one disciple betrayed Him by leading Temple guards to capture Him at night for trial by a ‘kangaroo’ court of Jewish leaders.  It was a foregone conclusion that they’d demand authorisation of His death from Pontius Pilate, the Roman Prefect, or governor, of Judea.

If you’re unfamiliar with this true story and how it led to Jesus’ gruesome torture, death and burial followed by his amazing bodily resurrection and appearance to His disciples, read doctor Luke’s investigative account and the personal account of Jesus’ closest disciple John. (Later, a Jewish leader violently opposed to them but who encountered Jesus en-route to Damascus would write He was seen simultaneously by over 500 – read 1 Corinthians 15:6)

A Maundy Thursday Musing

The Cross at Ffald-y-Brenin, ‘miraculously’ provided and located as directed by the Lord.

Reflections upon the events of Jesus’ betrayal and execution whilst we were on a Quiet Day’s ‘Appointment in Jerusalem’, added to my ongoing meditation upon His personal prayer made, not in the garden of Gethsemane, but earlier in the upper room at the close of their Passover meal (John 17). That ‘celebratory remembrance’ proved to be more than a ground-breaking event. It was truly a heaven-breaking-in pivotal time in human history in which Jesus offered up Himself as the Paschal Lamb, not only for His first disciples but also for everyone who would ever believe in Him – eg. you and me! AND enable everyone to come into the full freedom of salvation from their sins and satan’s consequential authority over their lives – should they so choose. Continue reading →
