Bible Update: Netanyahu’s visit to UN fulfills Zechariah 12 prophecy on satan’s strategy

Readers may recall my several occasional references to satan’s strategy of thwarting Jesus’ return to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14.4) by removing the Jews from Israel, as posited in Paws-4-Thought: Devilish plot to avoid The Lake of Fire.

I’m very pleased to read David Reagan, founder of Lion & Lamb Ministries, takes the same posture in his insights into Zechariah’s prophecies about Israel and other nations, and most importantly on the ancient and modern history of Jews in their homeland. Note the start and close of his opening observations to his 5-page article, followed by sub-heads and few extracts (underscoring added)

‘On Friday morning, September 27, I saw Bible prophecy being fulfilled before my very eyes as I watched Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on television address the General Assembly of the United Nations. It happened as he approached the podium to deliver his address. As he walked forward, two-thirds of the delegates got up from their seats and walked out. Netanyahu was left with an almost empty auditorium to speak to.

The specific Bible prophecy this event reminded me of was written by the Hebrew prophet Zechariah 2,500 years ago. Speaking of the end times, he prophesied that God will “make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.” (Zechariah 12: 3, emphasis added)….

…For over 40 years, I have been teaching that in the end times — in accordance with Bible prophecy — all the nations of the world will turn against Israel. In response, American Christians have reacted in disbelief, arguing that our nation would never turn against Israel. But today, the streets of our largest cities and the campuses of our major universities are filled with violent anti-Semitic protestors (sic) demanding that our nation abandon Israel in support of two of the world’s most vicious terrorist organizations.

How can this be explained?’

A Spiritual Anomaly

‘…The Bible makes it very clear that Satan knows Bible prophecy (Revelation 12:12). Satan can read the signs of the times, and he therefore realizes that the time he has left before Jesus returns is running out fast. He has, therefore, shifted his evil actions against the Jewish people into high gear because he is determined to annihilate them before the return of Jesus. Why? Because the Bible says that a great remnant of the Jews will be saved when Jesus returns (Zechariah 12:10 and Romans 9:27), and Satan is determined to keep that prophecy from being fulfilled…’

I would contend that it proves that God is faithful to keep all His promises, and that is a very important message for the Church, for God has made a lot of promises to us.

He has promised that at any moment, Jesus is going to appear in the heavens to take His Church — both the living and the dead — out of this world. Then, while He pours out His wrath on an evil and unbelieving world in the Tribulation, believers in Heaven will receive rewards for how they used their spiritual gifts to advance the Lord’s kingdom. After all the rewards have been distributed, we will enjoy the greatest feast in the history of the cosmos — the wedding feat of the Lamb, when the Bride of Christ (His Church) celebrates its union with the Bridegroom (Jesus).

When that feast is concluded, we will return to earth with Jesus and will witness His destruction of the Antichrist and his forces, after which we will celebrate His coronation as King of kings and Lord of lords. Believing Jews will serve in his government in Jerusalem. Glorified Gentiles will be distributed worldwide to reign over those in the flesh (those saved during the Tribulation and who live to the end of it). We will have the privilege of witnessing the world enveloped in peace, righteousness, and justice as the waters cover the sea.

And at the end of the Lord’s thousand-year reign, we will live forever in our new, eternal bodies in a New Jerusalem on and New Earth in the presence of our Creator and Jesus. Maranatha! (1 Corinthians 16:22).’

Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia’s grievance of Obama courting Iran and terrorists!

Further to my earliest email 15 years and 222 posts ago, as above, and this years’ End-times Briefing 21 documenting Iran’s rehearsing the ‘liberation’ of holy Jerusalem, as well as recent posts on its failed direct attack upon Israel followed by God’s holy word on Jerusalem and His protection, you’ll be aware of their second attempt overnight 1st-2nd October.

It was a great blessing that almost 200 missiles failed to kill any Israelis but the only tragic fatality was a Palestinian in Jericho.

Here’s Amir’s report on Telegram from a fellow Israeli

“I really don’t think you understand the absolute miracles that we witnessed last night here in Israel. In fact, I am sure you don’t. Let’s break this down.

Israel has three air defense systems, each one of them a technological wonder and that’s not me saying it. That’s Dr. Gold who basically invented the Iron Dome who told me that. The level and sophistication of the Iron Dome is simply unparalleled.

But the Iron Dome only knows how to detonate short range rockets or missiles within a 70 km range, give or take.

Then Israel has the David’s Sling system. That knows how to deal with mid range missiles up to approximately 300 km.

Then we have the Arrow system that literally detonates missiles that can fly outside of the earth’s atmosphere. That has a range of about 2,400 km!! 🤯

Last night, as Iran rained down ballistic missiles on Israel, all three defense systems were activated and implemented to perfection.

The chances of all of these incredibly complex systems working in unison as flawlessly as they did last night, are basically non existent.

If one thing went wrong, if one of those ballistic missiles hit an apartment building, a shopping center, or an army base, we would now be burying hundreds of Israelis.

And all of that is not even the biggest miracle.

A few hours ago, I got a WhatsApp message from a good friend who is a senior executive at Microsoft and who wasn’t exactly a God fearing Jew. Until yesterday.

Here is what he wrote me.

“If you’re looking for miracles man – last night I started believing. Missiles hit all around me but none of them hit my house or any house, for that matter.”

He elaborated some more and shared info about the missiles that he watched land just meters away from very strategic places in Israel, to say the least.

Each one of those defense systems is, in and of itself, pretty miraculous, but what is even more insane is the low casualty numbers from the rockets and missiles that we’re NOT intercepted.

Where did those missiles go? I’ll tell you where. They landed in sand, in water, and in “Empty spaces”.

Have you been to Israel? It’s a microscopic country. What empty spaces? Where are these empty spaces? 🤷‍♂️

How have hundreds of Iranian ballistic missiles all either get detonated by miraculous systems or totally miss their mark and land in empty spaces causing zero casualties and minimal damage?!

How??

Listen, I get it. This thought process begs the question, where was God during the horrible terrorist attack yesterday? Where was He on October 7th? Where was He during the holocaust?

All valid questions that require a very serious nuanced conversation.

But if you know anything about what had to happen last night and throughout this war in general, for such a low number of casualties, you’ll know that what we witnessed last night was the equivalent of God splitting the sea right before our eyes.

Guess what. When God split the sea, there were those who didn’t believe it was a miracle and didn’t jump in. And there are also those who feel the need to explain it naturally. Ok, that’s fine.

You don’t want to call yesterday an act of God? That’s your choice, but like my Microsoft friend, if you look at these events objectively, you’d have a really hard time seeing those hundreds of deadly missiles land in empty spaces and not see the hand of God.

Last night was an incredible display of the collaboration between two of the powers that protect the Jewish people: The IDF and Hashem.

Last night will go down in history right alongside many of Israel’s accomplishments in this war including the beepers and the unprecedented low ratio between combatant and civilian, as a military operation the likes of which the world has never seen. Ever!

Last night will be analyzed by military strategists and experts for generations.

Last night, we witnessed history.

Last night we witnessed open miracles.

Last night, we witnessed God in all His glory watching over His children.”

Eight years ago, having re-blogged Patsy Southway’s open vision of a Domino Effect of how our Father will affect His people, I sensed (as in my footnote) a subtle hint that “one of those domino-trails is in the secular world in view of recent, unexpected exposures of political activities.”

Consequently, I followed this up with what gave rise to hundreds of posts answering Is the Lord Exposing Rotten Politics? UK? USA? Next EU? Six months later came the first of a two-part answer on events and a prophetic pastors’ word on eruption of corruption.

I was reminded of that ‘kick-start’ whilst enjoying some Summer reading in the very few hot sunny days so far this year. I drafted some thoughts on that but, the Lord being the Lord, He provided more directly relevant news thus relegating my draft as a second part if we take that 2016 post’s content in sequence.

End-times Briefing 21: Israel and Iran – scripture and signs of The Day of the Lord?

Most will be aware of news of Iran’s threat to attack Israel on a multi-front as a result of its eliminating two top-level genocidal terrorists, and I ask you to kindly bear with this Briefing’s brevity in recommending links for further reading, especially John McTernan’s INSIGHTS: Israel at War.

In welcoming readers, my Bio Information relates how the Lord introduced me as a New Ager in the mid-1980s to a seminal book on geopolitics and ancient texts in the Bible. Whilst skimming through the book and glancing at its photos of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount I was watching a BBC report on the Iran-Iraq war. I was astonished at it showing elite units of Iran and Iraq rehearsing the liberation of that city!  BUT the Lord had told prophet Zechariah; as I was to learn much later (emphases mine):

Chapter 12 – A Prophecy: the Word of the Lord concerning Israel.

‘The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,’ declares the Lord. ‘I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, “The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.”

6 ‘On that day I will  make the clans of Judah like a brazier in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

7 ‘The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honour of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.”

Eight years ago on 10th May 2016, Patsy Southway described a Domino Effect of this vision

“A couple of weeks ago I was sharing with a few close friends about an open vision I had received from the Lord. In the vision I saw a long wavy line of dominos. Several, of which, were different colours; with their usual number of dots on them. I sensed that each domino had been strategically placed in preparation for the momentum that occurs when the first one is touched.

Then God said to me that during the month of May many will see the beginning of a ‘domino effect’ in their lives. As God’s finger touches the very first domino; the rippling effect will be breathtaking!”

Republishing it, I mused there may be more than one trail of ‘prophetical promises’ Patsy saw and possibly having a counterpart elsewhere; that is, not of developments within God’s Kingdom on earth, but a trail of exposing evil schemes in politicians!!

This soon turned out to be prophetic too, the fulfillment of which has progressed – even accelerated – as reported in hundreds of postings (see Exposures tag). Thus, on 26 May 2016 I asked Is the Lord exposing rotten politics? UK, USA – next EU? and write (emphasis added),

‘I cannot but think one of those domino-trails is in the secular world in view of recent, unexpected exposures of political activities. URGENT PROPHECY FULFILLING : THE PRESIDENT OF IRAN IS DEAD

“Before we get into prophecy–I am going to point out 3 events leading up to this.

Keep in mind this is happening within this 50-day window that starts at Passover and goes to Shavuot on June 11, 2024, where the Jews received the law.

50 is the jubilee, and it was the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War in October 2023 when Iran’s proxy Hamas brutally attacked Israel.

It was October 7, 2023, when the attack happened, May 2024 is the 7th month since the attack and the start of the war.

The foreign minister and 7 others are dead, there is that number 7 AGAIN.
50 is the jubilee, where captives are set free, what was stolen must be returned, and land must be given back to the people.

BIG BEN FREEZING THE 1ST FULL DAY OF PASSOVER APRIL 24 2024

Big Ben’s hands freeze at 9 am for more than an hour before the famous clock sounds the wrong number of bongs in a major malfunction two years after it was refurbished.

Also, because you cannot make this stuff up, right before the Kentucky Derby, on May 4, 2024, a horse is injured and taken out of the race. This horse’s name was No More Time!

WATCH AND SEE AS IT ERUPTS ON THE NEWS AND LEAVES IRAN IN A VERY VULNERABLE POSITION. JUDGMENT HAS COME TO THE HOUSE OF THE AYATOLLAH AND ENTERED ITS HALLS, SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS.”

“And says the Spirit of the Lord this day, the leadership of Iran is on a crumbling pedestal and the innocent blood they shed is being accounted to them for their wage for their bridge is about to fall down for the people are desperate and crying out, I the Lord hear their cries and I the Lord am moving upon my firstborn to covertly assist the people of Iran as leadership shall be removed under mysterious circumstances as some deep within in the government of Iran are assisting Israel, the Bonhoeffer’s, who see the sheer evil of such leadership. I the Lord am protecting them and they are assisting Israel for a BIG STRIKE AND BLOW IS COMING AND IT SHALL RATTLE THE UN HOW SUCH WAS DONE AND CHINA SHALL PUFF UP ONCE AGAIN AND BE HIT IN THE CORE THAT DEFLATES AND DECOMPRESSES THEM YET AGAIN.”

“I, the Lord thy God, made the Philistines bow, I, the Lord thy God, made Israel bow.  I, the Lord thy God, am beginning to break the back of Ayatollah, because Iran will bow.  And I, the Lord thy God, am raising up a plan and a strategy in Israel that is going to surround Iran on all sides.  And it is going to encapsulate them, says the Lord.  It is going to encapsulate them and it is going to cause the handshake that was seen with a red nation to be severed and broken, says the Lord.  Because demons squabble, says the Lord, demons squabble and you shall publicly, says the Lord, see that squabbling begin.

For I am calling through the darkness and the noise, Benjamin, son of my right hand.  I am calling through the darkness and I am going to cause you to turn to my Word and to know in whom your salvation is.  And he shall know it and at some point in his life he shall declare it, says the Lord.  For he is coming under that yoke and he will be the ox for me, says the Lord, that topples the regime of Iran.  He shall be the ox for Me that helps plow (sic) the fields in America.  For your nation is meant to be a friend and a brother to Israel.  And that needs to be reconciled in this season, says the Lord.  For they have attempted to separate it, they have attempted to sever the relationship and destroy it.  And in this season, by My balm, I, the Lord, shall begin to soothe the wounds and the boils that are broken out and heal that relationship.  And those that want to be Sauls and go after their own people, you shall fall by your own sword in this season.  You shall, You shall.  For you have turned to the way of Cain.”

It was the 6th hour that darkness came over the whole land.

It is the 6th month since the war started in October 2023, in the 6th month darkness comes over the land of Israel, and Iran fires over 300 drones, rockets, and missiles at Israel. 331, 331 in Hebrew represents Emmanuel which means God with Us!!

Now, in the 6th month darkness has come over the land, when Jesus Yeshua was on the cross it was in the 6th hour that darkness came over the whole land.

Darkness came over the land until the 9th hour (3:00pm)  the 9th plague over Egypt was DARKNESS.

The 6th plague over Egypt in Exodus 9:8-9.
Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from a furnace and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh. It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils will break out on men and animals throughout the land.”

DARKNESS coming over Iran in the 6th month since the war, the 6th hour.

The 6th plague was boils breaking out in the land, watch for this as well.

If we are in the 6th month of this war in Israel and it’s April, then July would be the 9th month (the 9th hour). July 4th in America is when we gained our Independence from tyranny.

May is the 7 month–7th hour that darkness is over the land.

“And the Spirit of the Lord says this day! Fear not for I am with you, be not dismayed for I AM your God, behold I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with MY righteous right hand says the Lord of Hosts. Be ready MY children, gird up your loins in an hour of tumult, and shaking, and prideful rebellions rising in the earth, leaders saying in their hearts I will ascend as high as the heavens, I will destroy the nations who call on the name of the Lord, in their hearts, they have entertained such a pious position says the Lord. Thus says the Lord pride cometh before destruction and a Haughty Spirit before a big fall says the Lord, for serpents, have risen up for a strike, the prince of Persia, that spirit has risen up in a rebellion to stir the people of that land says the Lord.

Thus says the Lord, the rise shall bring a hard fall for the Ayatollah’s court says the Lord for the courts of nations that have welcomed the persecuting spirit in and have entertained its offers says the Lord, those nations in this time are set to be threshed says the Lord.

Thus says the Lord, the underground church in Iran, your shackles are about to come off says the Lord, your redemption draweth nigh says the Lord, call unto ME people of Iran for your leaders are bringing your nation under a curse, WOE unto them says the Lord WOE unto them, WOE unto their meeting with Russia, Woe unto Russia says the Lord, you trifle too close to MY LAND AND MY BUSINESS SAYS THE LORD, YOU SHALL BE ROPED AND TIED AS CATTLE FOR HOW YOU THINK YOU WILL INTERFERE YOU SHALL BE BOUND FROM GOING AS FAR AS YOU SO DESIRE, SAYS THE LORD.”
