WARNING SIGNS OF THE LORD’S GATE OF PROTECTION – UK
JUDGEMENT FOR THE NATION AND GRACE FOR THE REMNANT
I have been sitting on this Word for several months, but sense to release now, after reading Chris Wickland‘s Facebook today [transcript on Richard’s Watch – see also Veronika West] and hearing that Big Ben stopped yesterday, 24th April 2024.
(Big Ben clock stops as hands freeze at 9 am Bell sounds 11 am chimes at 10:06 am despite hands of the clock faces showing 9 am. )
In 2023, I awoke to, “Big Ben, number ten, when you gonna chime again?
Sit tight no fright, cause a trembling to ignite.
Take heart My darling Nation, for I AM carrier to your station.”
I don’t fully know what these words mean, yet I believe this great Clock, to be a Sign and catalyst to great shaking that will awaken the stubborn and mocking spirit behind the authorities, and the citizens of The United Kingdom.
This shaking could even include an earthquake. IT IS TIME TO AWAKEN! [RB stress]
The LORD is judging The United Kingdom. He is stripping down unrighteous systems yet, as God’s Remnant, we are called to intercede, for The LORD desires to restore the promise, of a re-building of His original intention- for a radical revival and reformation.
The bell sounded 11 chimes at 10:06
“Against a godless nation I send him (Assyrians), and against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.” Isaiah 10:6.
The expression is drawn from war, where the vanquished and the slain are trodden down by the horses of the conquering army.
9:11 is an urgency to pray in The Spirit. It is a call to Prayer and to urgency and grace for Intercession.
Angelic protection. Restoration of Kingdom objectives. A call to decree restoration, and rebuilding of God’s design.
“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Lean into peace and not fear.” Psalm 91:11.
“In that day I will restore the fallen house of David. I will repair its damaged walls. From the ruins I will rebuild it and restore its former glory.” Amos 9:11.
On the 10th of September 2023, I heard The LORD say, “Great Britain is My Portcullis.”
I received Isaiah 40 with the words ‘Repercussion’ and ‘Percussion’.
I have recently been sensing the word ‘Siege’ over The United Kingdom again.
I found myself revisiting a Word given to me in 2019 — of a siege breaking over The United Kingdom.
In this word, The LORD says He will, “Destroy the destroyers!”
Isaiah 40 is for the Remnant who have, and continue to incline their ears to the Fathers heart
“See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” Isaiah 40:10-11.
Repercussion : I believe we are going to feel like a rug is being pulled from under us within the Government and the nation.
The structure we have been under for centuries is going to change rapidly.
God is not happy with the way the nation has turned away and done things their way, especially through those who have been seated in high places governmentally to look after God’s sheep.
Percussion : Instruments were used as signalling devices in battles as they went ahead of the army.
The LORD is asking His remnant to march ahead in intercession and praise with focus on The LORD, just as Miriam led the way after crossing the red sea in victory with her tambourine. (Exodus 15:20–21).
Portcullis : A Porte is a gate and a Portcullis fortified the entrances to many medieval castles, securely closing off the castle during times of attack or siege.
They had the advantage over standard gates as they could be closed immediately in crisis.
I had a Vision in corporate prayer over The United Kingdom of a box-sash window and a guillotine.
The enemy is, and will try to invade through open access given, yet these types of windows can suddenly shunt down through the pulleys, similar to that of a Portcullis.
The guillotine also has a similar actioning (sic).
The Haman spirit is also at play within the body of Christ, but we are to be encouraged that Haman’s plans were found out, and through Esther’s call to her people to fast and pray — The LORD hung Haman on his own gallows.
Mordecai sat in the gates often. It is there that his persistence brought a reversal of fortune for his people and himself. He was raised up to wear the Royal seal.
I will be releasing a Word given on being inside The Gates of Authority and the Josiah Generation to rise up.
I believe God is giving us a heads up on two levels.
Personal : We are His castles, securely made safe whilst we learn to master ourselves in his wisdom.
We must recognise the power and authority we hold to be prepared to action the Portcullis in any moment.
Decree a thing and it shall be established (Job 22:28).
We are to be aware of what windows we are propping open and to let go of the old practices, habits, and beliefs that hold us back from the freedom given at the cross.
We need to yield to all his purposes over us. We are then able to have his peace and clarity of sight for this spiritual war.
Fear should not be in the faith of our Lord. Be encouraged that God points us to victory!
National : I believe we need to pray specifically for London — particularly to keep Wembley in our prayers concerning physical attack and/ or disaster.
The LORD highlighted the ‘Prince of Persia’ and attempts of invasion from within.
The last few years, I have been shown that The United Kingdom is under threat of an uprising of Islamic fundamentalists that will bring sudden fear and yet, through a dream I received, this will end quickly.
Pray the hidden is exposed in underground networks.
The Portcullis is a building associated with the Palace of Westminster. It stands directly next to Big Ben and The LORD is cleansing the catacombs in the foundations of this place.
We are to be prepared to witness Governmental collapse yet… we must remember God’s promises over The United Kingdom to raise her up again.
Daniel 10, A heavenly angel ( Archangel Michael) is dispatched with the answer to Daniel’s prayer, but a demonic “prince of Persia” obstructs the messenger. However, the messenger has victory!
Pray there be no delay to our prayers.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. 2 Chronicles 7:14

HORSES, BIG BEN AND THE BUILDERS – 24th April 2024
“Like many when I witnessed the sight of the two highly trained horses from the
Household Cavalry, running through the centre of London, I paid attention. The
day before we had eaten at “The Running Horses!” I knew God wanted to speak
to us and mobilise us in prayer. This word is a collaboration from several people.
WHAT DO WE KNOW?
8.20am seven horses and six soldiers from the Household Calvary (which is the
ceremonial face of the regiment) were taking part in a routine exercise. As they
were assembled in the Belgravia area, a builder close by, suddenly dropped
heavy rubble from a great height into a Grab Hire wagon, oblivious of the
consequences. On the side of the wagon was large yellow signage…
“BLIND SPOT TAKE CARE”.
The horses were startled and five of them bolted unseating their riders. Three
Cavalrymen were hospitalised. Three horses were caught quickly, but two ran
for over six miles causing chaos through the streets of centre of London. The
streets had fallen silent as the two horses ran together and reporters
commented on how eerie the atmosphere was despite it being rush hour….”

BIG BEN – Was this a response from 22/2/24 when pro-Palestinian activists projected the antisemitic words ‘From the river to the sea‘ on to Big Ben’s Tower? They did this in full view of dozens of police monitoring a protest outside Parliament. Scotland Yard said the officers could not act because it was ‘not a criminal offence’. This was during a Commons debate in which MPs warned threats from ‘Islamist extremists’ were stifling democracy.
In 2017 Prophet Charlie Shamp said, “Keep your eyes upon Big Ben something supernatural is about to be seen. . . I heard the Lord say, “My eye is upon this land and my hand upon the nation’s time, a kairos moment is about to come! I will cause a sign to come from Big Ben that will mark the moment that I have changed the time and season for the nation of England and the city of London. Everything will stop and people will turn to see and hear. Tell my people to mark the moment when it comes to pass, for it will be sign of great change in the land.”
Is the 11th Hour speaking to us about awakening the church and releasing the sound, to the urgency of the times. The story of the virgins in Matthew 25:1–13 comes to mind.

What Signs are we talking about?
This was posted today, 25 April 2024, on X.
“The Scottish leadership ended its governing treaty with the Green Party putting the whole structure in Scotland in danger of collapse!
Big Ben clock stopped today 24th April, with the hands stuck at 9am and the wrong number of bongs (beats) sounded.
The Elizabeth Tower clock appeared to stop for about an hour, before showing the correct time again at 10:15am.
Big Ben’s bongs also sounded 11am at 10:06am, despite the hands of at least two of the clock faces showing 9am. Big Ben Malfunctioned by beating 11x at 10:06am. We must remember that 9/11 happened at 10:06am New York time – Big Ben stopped at 9 and then struck 11??. [Note numerical ‘mirror’ – four crashes on 11th Sept 2001 were 8:46, 9:03, 9:37, 10:03 New York time]
Today just after Big Ben malfunctioning with the wrong beats, and a shed load of comms, including photos, a White Horse and a Black horse belonging to the Household Calvary ran amok causing chaos in London, with the white horse covered in blood. Remember that King Charles is the Colonel-in-Chief of the Household Calvary.
Revelation 6:8 says, “And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth”.
Yesterday the 23/4/2024 = 17 (Q again) was St George’s Day. St George rode on a white (pale) horse when slaying the dragon. The coat of arms of Moscow depicts a horseman on a White Horse with a spear in his hand slaying a basilisk and is identified with Saint George and the Dragon.
During the weeks before 9/11…William Cooper (author of Behold a pale horse) predicted on a radio show that a false flag terror attack would happen. On the 5th of November (Remember, Remember) 2001 Cooper was assassinated by the CIA.
Today is the 24th April which is the 11th April on the Julian Calendar. 11.4. 11.4 is in Q Drop 34 the number we are seeing a lot of right now. Q Drop 34 tells us about the Military taking over and the Emergency Broadcast System (EMS) will be initiated to send direct communications to the masses.
The White Hats — the good guys — are giving us the heads up that a 9/11 style false flag attack is coming and a lot of hard truths are going to be revealed. With the events that have happened today in London something is definitely building with the exposure possibly on the (Satanic) Royals? Anyone seen Kate yet?”
Much of the above came from a post on Twitter/X this morning 25 April, 2024.
It really doesn’t matter who posted it, because it’s all over social media and it’s all verified truth.
So, what are the Signs we talk about, and what are we to glean from all this — which MSM dubs as ‘conspiracy theories’?
First and foremost,
“For The LORD ADONAI, will do nothing, unless He has revealed His counsel to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7 TLV.
There is so much going on here that we need to tease it out a little bit more before jumping to any conclusion.
There’s been more knife incidents in schools in Wales.
The Scottish leader is under pressure to step down.
There’s Big Ben and the 9/11 link.
Then there’s the horses galloping around London — that almost repeated again today, apparently.
The rest is fluff and mere speculation, or so I believe!
The knife incidents are more symptomatic of the loss of parental authority at home and moral leadership in schools. These are serious intercessory concerns.
The Scottish leadership problems are symptomatic of political abuse of power and position for personal agendas and we’re doomed to collapse from their inception — in my opinion.
The incidents involving the ceremonial horses which bolted through the streets of London etc is odd but I’m not hearing very much at all on that so I can’t really conject (sic) nor comment at this point.
The Big Ben incident is, to me, by far the most important event.
Much has been prophesied about Big Ben and its association with parliament, but the prophetic significance of this stoppage is, again in my opinion, of great importance.
The timing of 9.00 stopping, and the clock striking 11 times when it restarted at 10.06 am, the same time of the twin towers attack starting, is an unmissable tie in to the timings and events of 9/11.
I believe the whole incident is a warning of a 9/11 type of terror attack and incident coming to The United Kingdom.
There are some who are prophesying all sorts of things happening to or at the Palace of Westminster, or the Houses of Parliament as we know them.
This doesn’t resonate with me at all.
I am seeing and hearing much more about airplane disasters.
I am seeing a plane, or planes, crashing on cities around The UK with serious loss of life.
These planes will almost certainly be brought down by rocket fire, or even by some kind of systems failure, possibly cyber attack taking control of the aircraft while in the air!
That’s as far as I’m going to go on these incidents, but there’s much more to come. It may come from me, but it more likely will come from others.
It’s certainly time to alert the intercessors and for all of us to join them in unity to pray for supernatural intervention to avert these, and any similar incidents, occurring!
We pray for wisdom and deeper insight every night. Never have these gifts been more needed by the prophets and intercessors.
If ever there was a time to get serious about your prayer life, NOW is that time!

End-times Briefing 10 cont’d: key signs and prophecies

We continue Annex A to Simplicity and examine some items in earlier Briefings:
KEY END-TIME (or SECOND ADVENT) SIGNS and PROPHECIES
An awareness of End-Time signs will help us to see if any world events, as they unfold in the weeks, months and years ahead, can honestly be described as fulfilling Biblical prophecy. Analysis of world events in relation to prophecy requires care and integrity, both to ensure genuine spiritual significance, and to avoid “false news”, conspiracy theories and the pronouncements of false prophets. It will be exceedingly hard to convince a sceptical world that prophecy is being fulfilled!
Some prophecies in the Bible seem particularly significant, in light of current world events, especially in the Middle-East. The following prophecies are worth bearing in mind, especially by those who are intentional about marrying historic prophecies with contemporary occurrences. They are, in short, signs of the End-Times:
- Egyptian will turn against Egyptian (Isaiah 19:2)
- Damascus will be in ruins (Isaiah 17:1)
- Gaza will writhe in agony (Zechariah 9:5)
- There will be false teachers and prophets who lead people astray (2 Peter 2:1-2)
- Earthquakes, famines, plague and pestilences will intensify (Luke 21:11)
- People will prefer fantasy to reality, myth to Christian truths (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
Some other signs of note:
- The Jews have returned to their Biblical homeland, however, not all of the Jews have returned, and not to all of what was originally the Promised Land. We can expect to see more Jews returning and there may be further expansion of the current borders of Israel.
- The desolate land of Israel has become fertile and fruitful – Zechariah 7:14.
- The Gospel will be preached to all nations – Matthew 24:14. The Gospel is being preached in many nations, though not yet in all nations. It may be difficult for us to determine when full coverage has been achieved! At the same time, it is surely significant that in a matter of a few years from now the Bible, or parts of it, will have been translated into every known language.
- We can expect that in any communication on End-Time prophecies the message, and the messenger, will be mocked and ridiculed (2 Peter 3:3-4).
- Jerusalem will be seen as a problem by the whole world (Zechariah 12:2-3). Zechariah made this prophecy in about 520 BC, when Jerusalem was in ruins. Today, as foretold, Israel and Jerusalem are the focus of massive media coverage that is totally disproportionate to the size of the city or nation.
- Christians will be persecuted and martyred (Matthew 24:9).
- Many will turn away from the Christian faith (Matthew 24:10).
- The governance of Jerusalem will be free of Gentile involvement (Luke 21:24).
- The “Man of Lawlessness” (the Antichrist) will appear on the world stage. He will be seen as a great and very effective unifying world leader (Revelation 13:3-8). He will establish a seven-year covenant of peace with Israel which, after 31/2 years, he will break when he declares himself as god in the Temple in Jerusalem.
- A worldwide financial system will be established requiring people to register and show allegiance to the Antichrist, as a prerequisite to being able to shop and trade (Revelation 13:16-17). We hear talk today of a “new world order”, the need for a worldwide economic organisation and a world government.
- A 31/2 year period of desolation and despair, the “Great Tribulation”, will follow the “Abomination of Desolation” by the Antichrist in the Temple.
- In order for the prophecy at 11 above to be fulfilled, assuming it is not allegorical, we can expect to see the Temple rebuilt in Jerusalem.
- All nations will gather to fight against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2).
- Jesus will return and defeat the attacking nations at Armageddon (Zechariah 14:3-4, Revelation 16:14-16, Revelation 19:11, 19-21).
- The awesome realisation that Jesus is the Messiah, and all that that implies, will come to the nation of Israel in absolute certainty (Zechariah 12:9-10).
- Nations will be judged according to their treatment of the Jews (Joel 3:1-2).
(Annex A) CONCLUSION
Undoubtedly, more signs could be added. However, time and space dictate a degree of selectivity. Jesus gave us pointers for the circumstances that will prevail when he returns, but makes it clear that the specific time of his coming cannot be known. It seems clear that we are well along the time line of prophetic events. Those signs that await fulfillment could happen very quickly. Reading the Bible, watching what is happening, particularly in Israel and Jerusalem, and seeking to understand the spiritual significance of unusual signs and symbols in the world around us, are all key elements in our being ready for the return of Jesus.

Those following these Briefings will appreciate the direct relevance of Sign #27 to this video and transcript, for which I’m grateful for Carolyn Stewart’s very helpful expertise.
On 27th May 2020 Revd Christopher Wickland posted this alarm or warning on what’s soon to hit the world. (To date, his November 2019 prophecy of a great humbling then spiritual revival of Britain is accurate.) As with all prophecies, please seek the Lord in weighing this vision.
In NKJV, Christopher’s Luke reference is headed ‘The Coming of the Son of Man’:
“Welcome to another thought for the day. Today I have quite a serious message and one which probably many Christians will find a little bit hard to stomach. I will start with this piece of scripture, then I will get straight into it.
“It says in Luke 21 from verse 25: “There will be signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars and on the earth, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. Men’s hearts failing them from fear and expectation of things coming upon the earth because the powers of heaven will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
“The other night I was out for a walk with my wife, and the Holy Spirit really came upon me suddenly. Something happened there and one of these things that happened was that really strongly the Holy Spirit said to me,“There will be signs in the sun very soon.”
“Then he reminded me of something that happened to me, probably about 12 years ago. I was on the train going to Portsmouth Grammar School, where I taught at the time in those days, and as I was on the train I fell into like a trance. I know it sounds really weird, but it was a state between sleep and being awake. I remember looking up at the sun, and suddenly the sun changed colour from yellow to green, and there was an ear‑shattering crack of thunder across the whole sky, and then the whole of the city that I was stood in, I was looking around, with people running and screaming because of this cosmic sign in the sky, and people were terrified and in fear. And then BOOM, I suddenly came to with a start.
“I believe the time is coming now, I believe the Holy Spirit was saying to me, even this morning while I was in the shower, “Tell the people that the Sign in the Sun is about to start.” And I don’t know whether that will be soon, as in like weeks, months, or even years….I don’t know. But I believe the Holy Spirit said to me that the signs in the sun will start to commence.
“This will be something, I believe, on a world‑wide level – everybody will see it – and it will defy the laws of physics!
“The sun will do stuff that the sun just shouldn’t do!!
“And this is a sign, both to the nations and a sign to the Church. And it’s a sign to the nations that they have to repent. And it’s a sign to the Church that we too need to repent and actually get on our knees, and really take seriously the times in which we are living in, because the times that we’re living in are more wicked and more dangerous than we actually can even conceive.
“We are like frogs…We are being put in a little bowl of water, and the water has got hotter and hotter, and we as Christians are being boiled alive right now, but we don’t even know it. This is a reality of where are at.
“During this time of lockdown I have really been seeking God’s face a lot more. And the thing that I’m becoming more and more impressed with by the Spirit is that we are in trouble; in that our nation has turned to such liberalism, where we justify the murder of innocents, where we justify taking away the virginity of our children in their minds, where we justify so many wicked things, where the laws of the land have become an abomination to the things of God and His Word. Where now even churches are turning in droves away from the things of the Gospel and moving into the things of liberalism and of the world. We are in great trouble!
“Now I know a lot of you watching this are thinking, “Woah! This guy, he’s lost the plot.” Maybe I have, I don’t know. But I have to be faithful to what I believe God is showing me, and I remember so vividly that vision of the sun changing colour, and the crack of thunder that ricocheted across the sky, and the terror that fell upon everybody.
“Because God is a good God, why would He do such a cataclysmic sign? Well for the Church it’s to “Wake Up!”. And for the world it’s “You need to repent. Time is running short. You cannot carry on living in wickedness and depravity much longer before the Great Tribulation comes to you!. You have to repent. Now is the time!”
“The Bible says: ‘Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.’ Now is the time. And when those signs, as prophesied, as I read in the opening scripture, in the sun will start to appear ‑‑ and I believe they are coming soon ‑‑ then it is a time of warning for the Church, because the Church ‑‑ we’ve become indifferent to the things. We look around our world and go, “Yeah, that’s okay. We know it’s going on.”
“But we need to be on our knees. We need to be praying more fervently, more harder, more gut‑wrenching, heart‑felt prayers at this time in history, now more than any other time in history to date, because we are at the epoch of the most horrendous of things, and we look around and we’re not even aware of how horrendous it is because we’re acclimatised to the wickedness of the world in which we live in. But the Sign in the Sun will be God’s mercy to His Church to wake us up. Now, I don’t know if this is months, weeks or even years way. But this is what I believe God showed me, this is what I believe the Holy Spirit told me to say and to warn us: time is running out, and it is a time to take our faith seriously. God bless you.”

Readers will recall pastor Wickland’s miraculous recovery from a fatal heart attack last November free from consequential brain or heart damage after being effectively dead – see Was Pastor’s fatal heart attack to prevent God’s warning to Britain and apostate church?. Only days before he’d recorded an accurate prophecy on a great humbling of Britain and then a spiritual revival, but which got overlooked in the upheaval of events.

End-times Briefing 3: the ‘What?’ of Watching > Signs!
So far we’ve considered the Who, Why and When we’re to watch. Now to the rationale of this blog, as stated in its title’s strap-line, ‘Looking for the signs of Jesus’ return‘ and we examine what Jesus told us to look out for:
WHAT?
Omitting Jesus’ prediction of the destruction forty years later of the Temple in AD70, here’s a selection of signs stated in the first Gospel (Mark 13), and as augmented by Matthew (chapter 24) and Luke (chapters 17 & 21) plus insertion of Paul’s first and follow-up letters to believers in Salonika, to whom he stressed the origin of his teaching; ‘For this we say to you by the word of the Lord…‘

- “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations [‘ethnos’ – people groups], and then the end will come.”
- Disciples will stand before and councils, rulers and kings, beaten in religious assemblies:
- Many will come in Jesus’ name, saying, “I am He,” and will deceive many.
- Wars and rumours of wars – nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet
- “And there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven ; All these are the beginnings of sorrows.
- “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by nations all for My name’s sake.

- For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven…’and the dead in Christ will rise first,
- ‘then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up [‘harpadzo’ = rapture] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…’
- ‘You know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety” then sudden destruction comes…’
- ‘Let no one deceive you…for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first (Apostasy), and
- ‘the man of sin (lawlessness) is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped,
- ‘so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God…
- ‘The coming of the lawless one is according to the workings of satan with all power, signs and lying wonders, and
- ‘with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they didn’t receive a love of the truth, that they might be saved…
- ‘For this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie (!!)…’
- “As it was in the days of Noah, so also in the days of the Son of Man: “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”
- “Likewise as it was in the days of Lot…on the day Lot left Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

- “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth...
- “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
- “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
- “Then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.” [The Rapture]
Jesus said, “Take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.“
Details from The Apocalypse, the book recording ‘the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants’ penned by His apostle John, will follow later.
IS THE END NIGH?
Not necessarily! I’m not of the alarmist brigade because, in my humble opinion, Jesus is coming back for a bride who’s ‘made herself ready’, which I understand to be a church that has been restored to move fully in the ‘greater works’ – one that has arisen with the glory of the Lord appearing over her and piercing the ‘thick darkness covering the peoples’ (see Revelation 19.7, Acts 3.21, John 14.12 and Isaiah 60.1-2). YET, it may be just over the horizon!
There’s clear indications this preparation is already happening through many ministries. Jesus did say, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16.18).
On praying to our Heavenly Father, He instructed us to petition, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven…” (Matt 6:10).
The Lord’s Kingdom rule has yet to come in its fullness so, in my opinion, a reworking – even a significant sifting or pruning – may be necessary as the Lord finishes building his Church and believers make themselves ready for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Combat miracle proves scripture – Praise the Lord!

“It’s been a few weeks, but I have some time now and I wanted to write about a miracle that happened to me during those first few days of hell.
My unit was called in on Shabbat (Saturday) morning. No official emergency call, no paperwork sent, no official order, nothing. Our brigade commander saw that the South needed a battalion to respond ASAP, and he told us to come in. I quickly got my gear together, said goodbye to my wife, and ran to the car.
Some hours later we boarded humvees and headed straight to the Israeli border community of Kfar Aza.
Our weapons had been handed to us on the spot. We had never shot them, didn’t have time to clean them, we had no idea if they worked and the sights definitely weren’t zeroed in.
The weapons in the reserve units are notorious for being unreliable and usually don’t even shoot properly before a good clean, or in some cases, a visit to the armory.
That’s how we went in to combat.
We walked into the village and were engaged by terrorists within the first few minutes. Minutes later, we encountered one hiding in a bush with an AK-47, waiting to ambush us.
My rifle worked perfectly, firing every shot, cycling every round, hitting what I was aiming at. Not a single jam.
I thanked God for giving me a rifle that worked right without delay. After three days of fighting, I had learned to rely on my rifle completely.
On Tuesday night we finished clearing Kfar Aza, were switched out by another battalion, and were sent up to a base so we could rest, shower, and finally clean and check our weapons.
We went to the range. Immediately, my gun jammed. Another round, another jam. And another. They were getting worse. I had to take out the pliers on my utility knife to clear them.
We ended up having to take the gun to the armory so all the internal parts could be replaced. The gun basically needed a total rebuild from the inside. The gun just didn’t work.
It was a broken rifle, and it was broken from the moment it was handed to me on Shabbat morning. But for me, in those few days in Kfar Aza, it had worked to perfection. So we could do what we needed to do.
I heard similar stories from many other soldiers in our battalion. I look forward to the day where I can stand in my synagogue on Shabbat and express my immense gratitude for this miracle and the countless others that God performed for us.”

The Existential Threat to Israel – Part 3: A War of Survival – Neil Mackereth
Hot on the heels of Part 2 my retired soldier friend and author of Signs: The Significance of Bible Prophecy submitted this afternoon (images added):
THE EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO ISRAEL PART 3 – A WAR OF SURVIVAL
Introduction
This is a very critical time in the history of modern Israel. I believe that decisions
made in the next few days will determine whether the Gog and Magog war (Ezekiel
38) is precipitated or if, alternatively, there will be a victory of sorts in Gaza followed
by a period of peace. The latter may seem the more attractive outcome; however,
there is no doubt that the Gog and Magog war is coming.
As I said at the end of Part 2, the situation is changing as I write. What is more, it is
difficult to get accurate real-time information. I am deeply distressed by the
polarisation that is developing; and by the BBC reporting, which seems intent on
encouraging that polarisation. [RB. It’s exceptionally badly biased pro-hamas support was noted 9 years ago in my Call for Clarity on Israel and Gaza!)
The media must bear some responsibility for the imbalance in reporting that, I believe, is encouraging mass intolerance and demonstrations, in support of a movement many of the partakers know very little about. Watching recent news reports, I am reminded of scenes from “Kristallnacht” in Germany in 1938, when marauding mobs roamed the streets attacking Jewish homes, businesses and synagogues.

The Dilemma Facing Israel
In any military appreciation of a situation, it is always wise to seek to assess, and try
to better understand, the situation from the enemy’s point of view. That requires a
working knowledge of their motives, intentions, strengths and weaknesses, and
tactics; and, in particular, what they must be stopped from doing, whatever the cost.
The leaders of Israel face an almost impossible dilemma.
Some key factors affecting their decision making:
- Iran, and its proxies, are motivated by a deeply flawed genocidal Muslim
theology. - Israel is losing the propaganda war – and putting Israel, and Jews world-wide,
in great jeopardy. - Every effort must be made to rescue the hostages.
- Hamas uses the Gaza population as a human shield and hides its operational
headquarters, weapons and munitions etc., in tunnels under hospitals,
schools and such like. - Hamas pays no heed to the “rules of war”.
- World opinion, and the need to maintain the support of allies, may limit flexibility (hamper operations).
- Iran is likely to have the ability to build and deliver nuclear warheads, within
weeks. The thought of that capability, being in the hands of radical Muslim
fanatics, is frightening. - Hezbollah has over 100,000 fighters, is far better equipped and trained than
Hamas, and has at least 100,000 rockets, many of which are sophisticated
precision (targetable) missiles, plus drones and anti-tank, anti-aircraft and
anti-ship missiles. - If Hezbollah where to attack fully now, Israel is mobilised and ready; if they don’t,
Israel has to ask why not? - Possibilities (What Ifs): Perhaps Iran’s strategy involves the drawing out of the IDF, and the loss of Hamas and Gaza citizens may be viewed as a necessary sacrifice (collateral damage) to achieving their ultimate goal (explained in Part 1, radical Muslims do not have a western mind-set). Or perhaps Iran wants to delay an attack, in order to complete its nuclear weapons programme.
Summary
For Israel, “victory” in Gaza (and only Gaza) could lead to a false peace and, as a
consequence, to the demobilisation of reservists. The battle fatigued reservists would return home (and back to work) and start to relax. If Hezbollah were then to launch a full-scale attack, i.e., shortly after IDF demobilisation, the challenges for Israel would be immense.
God is revealing the true nature of the society in which we live, and it is alarmingly bad. The liberals, who took control of the madhouse decades ago, do not understand what they have unleashed. Their view that most, if not all, people are motivated by logic, reason and self-interest is flawed: there are some who will never enter negotiations with honest intent.
Iran and its proxies are driven by a deep pathological hatred of Israel and are committed to a radical Muslim theology that demands the annihilation of all Jews.
Similarly, the “Palestinian Cause” has always been a cover for the expulsion of Jews
from Israel, and has never been about sharing the land.
Why are the blood-chilling genocidal statements made by anti-Israel leaders and clerics, that show their true motives, never broadcast by the mainstream media?
Conclusion
Israel is fighting a war for its existence against a genocidal enemy. Whichever way things go, it seems inevitable that Israel will be vilified and, by association, all Jews world-wide will suffer.
Undoubtedly, one of Satan’s objectives, in his attempts to undermine God’s redemptive plan, is to stop the fulfillment of Biblical End-times prophecy. To that end, he is seeking to annihilate all Jews so that Jesus has no Jewish Kingdom to which to return and rule. The Bible shows that he will fail.
We may appear to be in an unstoppable downward spiral to disaster, but God’s plans
will not be thwarted. It has never been more important to understand the signs of the
times, watch for the fulfillment of prophecy, and to be ready. JESUS WILL RETURN.

‘God-incidence’ of 2nd Pivotal Point foretold by Jesus: “As in the Days of Noah…”
MY, WHAT A ‘GOD-INCIDENCE’!
This morning I read two separate items published yesterday referring to The Days of Noah. First, from the collection of news items on progress of prophecies brought by Julie Green:

Secondly, in last night’s Koenig’s Eye View From The White House, Bill Wilson KIN Senior Analyst writes (emphases mine):
‘The Days of Noah and our Prophetic Times
WASH—Oct 23—KIN–The Biblical account of Noah has very similar underpinnings to the current condition of the world. As evil plays out in the Hamas attack on Israel, we can see clearly the inhumanity of humanity. When a group of people led by hatred and a genocidal ideology boldly murder, rape, torture, and dismember an innocent population, then is praised by the masses and justified by media, we know that the visitation of evil is upon us.
The prophetic words of Christ about the end of days resonate with this time in which we live. While there are several events that must occur before the return of Christ, we are witnessing prophetic signs of the coming end of the age both in the general world population and in Israel in particular.
Asked by his disciples about the signs of his coming and the end of the world, Christ was very specific. He likened world conditions to the time of Noah, when God cleansed the earth with the great flood. In Luke 17:26-27, Christ said,
“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”
Likewise, Matthew quoted Christ saying,
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
Genesis 6:5-8 tells us the why behind both the flood and Noah’s position with God, “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD…Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”
Herein, is the hope and faith for each of us as time closes in on the return of Christ. 2 Peter 2:5 says God “did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness…”
2 Peter 2:9 concludes that “the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of danger.” The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that no adversity, or temptation, has overtaken you except what is common to man, but God is faithful and will not allow you to go through more than what you can bear, and with the adversity he “will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
How? By your faith. Hebrews 11:17 says, “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
Noah is an example for us in these dark, yet prophetic times. By faith, let us look beyond the evil of the days to the promise of our prophetic destiny. Be encouraged. You are HIS!’

A WAKE-UP CALL: The Days Are Coming!! – Christopher Wickland
Now back to the purpose of this blog, as in its title’s strap-line: ‘Looking for the Signs of Jesus’ Return‘ – and to my very first post The Endgame Is Now In Play on hearing the Lord say as I opened a Bible to check the wheat & tares parable: “This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”
By the way, the reflection of numbers in timing and comments/shares of this screenshot taken as I begin drafting is sheer ‘coincidence’ – do you think?

THE DAYS WHICH ARE COMING
“Days are coming, says the LORD, where I will pour out terrible signs from the heavens.
I shall hurl stars to the ground that will make the nations reel and stagger in shock.
I shall pour down fire from above that will scold and chastise the nations. These will be terrible signs that will make men weak at the knees and bring great consternation.
There will be signs in the sun and moon, terrible signs that will fill the nations with fear.
Many will try to explain these wonders away with science, but like the magicians of Eqypt, there was a point where they were unable to do so.
The nations have come too far – I AM calling time on your technology, your finances and your Towers of Babel. I will hack you down and only leave a stump to remain.
The watchers have decreed that man’s great insolence and wickedness must be restrained before the Lawless One arises.
The nations will soon know that I AM GOD and that I AM King! Like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah I will pour down fire from heaven and scold and scorch nations with my wrath.
The nations will know their place and they will be restrained for a season before the restraint is taken away to reveal the Lawless One.
I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh and I will call many back to Me in these days ahead.
My people, you need to awake and arise from your slumber and sleep. I AM roused and rising up, the cry of the nations has come before Me and l must act accordingly.
Beware My saints that these signs that are coming will perplex and confuse many. For you will look to the scriptures and try to figure out that which has been sealed ’til the End of Days.
These are not those days yet, but the climax that leads to the End of Days. You are going to see signs that are both what you would call Old Testament and New. I AM unchanging and I will do what I will do.
My people, My children you need to arise from your sleepy slumber. Be prepared for signs that will shock and awe. Blood and fire, hail and storm, signs in the heavens and down upon the earth.
I will make the nations reel and stagger and all shall know that I AM God.
My people will learn to rightfully fear Me again and will learn to intercede again. My people are called to stay My hand but many are too asleep to know or to care.
Look to the heavens and watch, for the days of blood and fire are coming. My people will soon know that I AM their God.
Pray and intercede for the nations for terrible signs are coming. Signs so profound that none will dare mock or explain them away.
For I alone AM God. I ALONE AM KING.”
