A “Small” Event Actually Huge: Psalm 83:3–8 Being Fulfilled Now?

My prime focus in covering Israel’s self-defence is news of Iran’s role. So I’m pleased that Mark Davidson’s assiduous research – upon which I’ve often re-blogged under the tag ‘4Signposts’ – is bearing further fruit on this particular aspect in his latest post.

So I recommend your reading his report by clicking the above image, and which opens as follows:

‘If one does not know the Four Signposts as written about in Daniel Revisited, one can mistake Mideast events that have little significance prophetically, as big events. And vice versa.

We witnessed this two weeks ago: a relatively small event on October 18 was mistaken by many as an event of huge significance.

One week later, we witnessed the inverse. On October 25, a relatively significant event was dismissed by many as minor. That event is the subject of this post…’

And note well part of his conclusion, emphasis mine:

‘Just as we saw a minor event recently blown up out of proportion by people, people miss things again by assigning a “ho-hum” to a meeting of some leaders in Beirut which is actually fulfilling Scripture.’

It was our usual long weekend with just a few intervals for being online and thus posting only quick news updates on Richard’s Watch Telegram, but I jotted above title for next post. First. however a…

CLARIFICATION:

Neil Mackereth’s The Existential Threat to Israel is a tripartite briefing and each part is not to be taken in isolation and thus taken out of context and get misconstrued, even in considering scripture, for which Chris Moyler provided extensive citations:

It is vital to be aware of how this situation relates to Islamic end-times doctrine. Neil subsequently writes me, “I am certain that Israel faces an enemy that is intent on its annihilation; ie. an existential threat. I know Israel will survive – the Bible tells me so.”

“Dear Friends (writes Chris Moyler),
James Goll is a seasoned and trustworthy leader in God’s House. In this video [RB: not attached] he speaks prophetically about this present Gaza War. He believes that it will expand and draw in all the nations that immediately surround Israel.

He says clearly that he believes this to be the fulfillment of Ps 83. Verse 4 is an almost word for word statement of the Hamas Covenant, which specifically states that Israel will be wiped from the map.

The Psalm concludes with a prayer for the destruction of Israel’s enemies, specifically in order that the SOVEREIGNTY OF ALMIGHTY GOD might be displayed through Israel’s victory, and that HIS NAME might be hallowed in all of the earth:

17,18 “Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace, that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.”

And yet there is also a prayer for God’s grace to extend to those will will lose in this war:

We want to see Hamas utterly destroyed, ditto Hezbollah, because these movements lead the peoples away from the only One who is able to give life to all mankind, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel.

Amen

Finally, I continue to believe that this is NOT the final Gog-Magog war. Satan would like it to be so, because what he most fears is the emergence of the sons of God in the earth, Christ’s pure and spotless Bride.

Ezekiel 38:8 ‘After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them.’

-“restored from war,”
-“its people were brought out from the peoples”
-“now dwell securely.”
-“ALL OF THEM.”

Since King David and King Solomon, there has never been a time when ALL of the people of Israel have dwelt there securely, in THEIR OWN land. Therefore, I continue to contend that this must be the condition of the Land and the Jewish people in it, prior to the final Gog-Magog war. That war is exclusively in the FATHER’s timing, and NO-ONE ELSE’S.

HE ALONE sets the calendar of the Earth!

And, of course, Satan wants to prevent the VAST end time harvest of souls for the Kingdom.

But judgement has already been given to the saints, and he will NOT be allowed to “change the times.”

Dan 7:21,22
‘As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them, until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given for the saints of the Most High, and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom.’

So let us banish all fear from our hearts, and let us boldly proclaim God’s goodness over and above these troubled days.

Ezekiel’s ‘Gog-Magog’ prophecy revisited – ‘Stop Press!’ on Part 3!

Neil Mackereth’s Part 3 of The Existential Threat to Israel must be so powerful it caused my printer to jam and stop working… a real STOP PRESS!!  After working at a desktop screen it’s always easier to read hard-copies of long articles, and so upon its receipt I wanted to peruse Neil’s latest at leisure over an afternoon ‘cuppa’ – BUT LOOK, it’s too powerful to print!

My printer seized up! The previous sheet had emerged with bent corner, but Neil’s item got solidly jammed – and ripped on both sides. Once cleared, it works normally!!!

In the mid-1980s I knew hardly anything about Bible prophecy when presented with two  jigsaw-pieces, a book and TV documentary. What I saw directly related to what Ezekiel heard from the Lord prophesying an attack upon Israel led by ‘Gog’ and ‘Magog’.  Since beginning to write upon End-times 15 years ago, I’ve posted news occasionally on the Gog-Magog alliance but over double on events relating to Iran.

Upon the 7th October Atrocity of utter demonic depravity I suspected Iran’s supportive direction if not direct involvement, which is becoming apparent not only through attacks by its hezbollah and houthi proxies but also by public announcements. So I posted The very first two jigsaw-pieces of my ‘Invisible Jigsaw’, Israel and Iran, citing its president. Around that time prophet Tomi Arayomi brings the Lord’s confirmation that “hamas is Iran’s patsy”!

AND it’s becoming increasingly obvious that Iran is directing attacks on those other two fronts before Israel has to decisively remove hezbollah’s rockets throughout Lebanon.

As a retired high-ranking army officer Neil Mackereth considers Israel’s options to deal with and defend itself from such heinous evil and possible outcomes.  Thus, along with latest news he tentatively considers the Gog-Magog prophecy and concludes:

“Undoubtedly, one of Satan’s objectives, in his attempts to undermine God’s redemptive plan, is to stop the fulfillment of Biblical End-times prophecy. To that end, he is seeking to annihilate all Jews so that Jesus has no Jewish Kingdom to which to return and rule. The Bible shows that he will fail.

“We may appear to be in an unstoppable downward spiral to disaster, but God’s plans will not be thwarted. It has never been more important to understand the signs of the
times, watch for the fulfillment of prophecy, and to be ready. JESUS WILL RETURN.
Halleluiah!”

The Signpost Perspective: The Hamas-Israel War, 2023

I’ve cited Mark Davidson on several occasions and he now writes:

Hamas would correspond to Philistia in the list of peoples attacking in Psalm 83:5–8.

‘Two President’ prophecy coming to pass. Can dis-United States of America be trustworthy ally and keep its place as global leader?

Bible Update: historic meeting in Israel portends hope for USA

As blogged many moons ago on President Trump’s relationship with the state of Israel and his moving the American embassy to its capital, although the Bible doesn’t mention the western continent, that nation is hidden right in its centre, as in JER-USA-LEM !

Also, as this morning’s news indicates that despite the severity of demonic attacks in USA, the Lord will bring blessing for “IT IS WRITTEN” in chapter twelve of the Book of Beginnings, namely Genesis (per New King James Version, Bible Gateway.com):

Promises to Abram
12 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

We know Who foretold doing this, as doctor Luke in chapter 21 of his gospel account  quotes Jesus saying:

Moreover, in brazenly defying Biblical and Catholic teaching his action involves EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD, just as Jesus Christ Himself foretold about the days preceding His Return in Glory. Israel and Russia tensions significantly worsened

The biblical suspense has ratcheted up the past two weeks between Russia, Iran and Israel over the Ukraine.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has become something of a proxy battlefield for drones from Turkey and Iran. Ukrainian defense forces have made spectacular use of Turkey’s Bayraktar drones, which have become one of the hottest military products in the world, while Iran is (not very) secretly believed to be supplying Russia with its Mohajer and Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Iran inks deal with Russia to supply them with ballistic missiles. Ukraine asked Israel for air defense help amid drone assault. Russia warned Israel from intervention after an anonymous senior Ukrainian official said that Israel was providing Ukraine with intel on Iranian drones being deployed by Russia. Israel’s Gantz stated they may provide Ukraine with rocket and drone alert systems. Israel relies on access in Syria to take out Iran weapon shipments. Moreover, Russia is not pleased with Israel discussing supplying much needed natural gas to European countries.

These events certainly bring attention to Gog and Magog alignments of Ezekiel 38 and 39 and whether Russia or Turkey is the lead nation in the Gog and Magog war with Israel.

I copied this from Koenig’s World Watch Daily when booting up this pc and intended posting about Ezekiel 38 being still in play after dealing with top-priority tasks, only to find our dear sister has beaten me to ‘the draw’!

Great minds think alike – or more likely, Holy Spirit’s getting us ‘over target’!
