Battle for the UK: heaven’s breaking news – The Worm Has Turned!

This important, powerful prophetic word comes from Emma Stark, co-director of Glasgow Prophetic Centre / Christian International Scotland, as well as national director of Healing Rooms Scotland, with husband David.

Emma calls it “Heaven’s breaking news” and shares about hearing the Lord say,

“The worm has turned, the worm has turned, the worm has turned away.”

She immediately knew this means satan and its hordes, and the Lord explains,

“The enemy has just changed direction and he has just changed strategy.”

This video posted on Sunday 20 November is highly encouraging for faithful intercessors and brings correction and instruction on how to pray in this situation.

It’s interesting to note concurrent events in the political world:

On the previous day I read about injudicious comments by Lady Hale, a justice in Britain’s Supreme Court. Most readers are aware the Court is to rule next month on the procedure for the government’s application of Article 50 for leaving the EU.

However, as Charles Moore explains in Saturday’s broadsheet op-ed ‘Time to say Hale and farewell to judges who hand down opinions on Europe’, Lady Hale delivered a lecture overseas in which she presumptuously declared that she and her fellow judges “have definitely become the guardians of the UK Constitution” (read earlier on-line version here).

Furthermore, the wife of the Court’s President Lord Neuberger had made dozens of tweets against the Referendum result, as well as broadcasting extreme opinion on it far and wide. Baroness Neuberger’s actions are not in contempt of court as such, but contrary to the Supreme Court’s own Guide to Judicial Conduct, which advises judges to show caution and restraint whenever publicly commenting upon their case decisions.  Therefore, calls have been made for her husband to recuse himself from inclusion in the 11 judges sitting to hear the government’s case for Article 50.

On Monday it was reported Lord Neuberger has announced his early retirement next year. Furthermore, the leading political commentator Melanie Phillips has called for Lady Hale as the only female Supreme Court justice not to take his place as President (article refers).

Some readers found the newspaper’s previous editor’s opinion rather too polite, as in this sample of letters!

It is a completely different approach to prayer. A friend and brother recently asked for my thoughts on the subject; and it seems worthy of sharing more widely. Contrast prophetic intercession with what I call “pathetic” intercession. Please don’t whine when you talk to God. Prayer is conversation with God; so be adult about it. Update on Nina’s progress

A hearty thank you to the Lord and to everyone who prayed for Nina after her major hand operation. There’s been one achievement at least: she’s managed to learn to write again! This time with her right hand 🙂  It was so amusing when she first attempted doing a crossword.

We’ve had a busy morning shopping locally and later in Liphook after going to the Royal Surrey Hospital. There, the registrar who’d stitched her thumb and forearm in two places checked progress again after she’d worn a wrap-brace with thumb-splint. Three weeks ago when the plaster cast was removed he was astonished at how well the wounds were looking and healing. So Nina told him about prayer power as people had been praying for her and the whole medical team during the op’ and afterwards.

Today, he said it’s “Brill – marvelous!” and sent her to start physiotherapy. That therapist was amazed Nina’s had so little pain as most patients complain of post-operative pains, and Nina had been warned it may happen. But praise the Lord no, and the whole is healing exceptionally well. The course of physio will now continue at the small unit 1/2 mile away and adjacent to our GP surgery, with next check-up in in mid-Feb, hopefully for sign-off.

yumAND the weekend had got off to a very good start with a bowl of dates, sultanas, raisins and glace-cherries that had lain soaking for 3 days in a secret spirit being incarcerated within a stiff mix of flour and goodies only to then be incinerated – well not quite.

If only we smell its warm yumminess! Am so pleased Nina encouraged me to bake and ice our Christmas cakes.

yum-2ALSO, the whole house oozed with the combined scent of the cake and my freshly baked granary loaf.

Now herein lies a story of prophecy!

When we attended our first workshop on moving in prophetic gifting with Dr Sharon Stone 11 years ago one of the many activations involved a chubby chap with a one-tooth grin. He said he saw loaves on a conveyor belt – that certainly befuddled me! Although my name’s Barker I’m definitely no baker and my cooking abilities are very limited. Of course, we try putting a scriptural interpretation on these things but most often they are exactly what they are.

A few years later a good friend asked if we may be able to put her bread-maker to use as she didn’t have time to devote to its regular use. Nina gave it a try and suggested I may like to give a go – and have been doing so ever since! So that prophecy’s long fulfilled.

Yum, yum, yum…yum, yum, yum – yum yum all the way.. almost every third day!

What intercessors ‘heard’ during UK Referendum & US Election

This ‘review’ of intercession for the Referendum and Election by Dave Chapman is offered not only for edification but also as a good example of listening to hear the Lord’s will for our world. Dave contributed a couple of informative papers very early in my blogging on the Referendum for staying in or leaving the EU and I’m honoured to publish his latest, to which underscoring is mine for emphasis.:

ON PATHS OF RESTORATION

Well, what a year it has been thus far!  So much going on, and so many changes both here and abroad.

We began it with preparations for our trip to Kabale, Uganda, again. All sorts of things to do, and to take. Loads of clothes, and gifts we had been given, mostly monetary, for the work out there. We too were blessed there on so many fronts, not least the privilege of seeing God at work in miracles and healings through them before our very eyes.

Referendum Time

We were back home less than two weeks before David Cameron announced a June date for the Referendum.  Prayer for this began in earnest.  We focused primarily on “Your kingdom come, Lord, Your will be done….here”.

Though we sensed we needed to leave the EU, we did not pray from that standpoint.  But, as we prayed, we ‘heard’ so many different scriptures coming, both to us and to others we were praying with, sometimes here and some other prayer times, all within a 20 mile radius of us.  “Let my people go”, the words of Moses to Pharoah was an early one. Then there was the story of David and Goliath.  Yes, the ‘Goliath’ is stunned, but not dead yet!  There is quite a lot of wriggling going on!  Continue reading →

Battle Stations: urgent calls to intercession for Donald Trump

“This is a season of great peril...Thursday through this coming Tuesday (election day) is going to be very, very critical – and 25 days after Tuesday is going to be critical.”

The above warning from the Lord was heard by John Kilpatrick when told to spend time alone with Him instead of leading church, as blogged here.

This morning I learned two prophetic voices on opposites sides of the world have called for protective intercession for President-elect Donald Trump.:

1. Veronika West posted this yesterday on Ignite Ireland Ministry Facebook.: 

“AMERICA WATCH FOR I SEE A MIGHTY BACKLASH FROM THE SEVEN-HEADED SERPENT SPIRIT”!

Verinoka West Fbk‘Listen AMERICA, without wanting to dampen this awesome time of REJOICING in a GREAT VICTORY WON, the Holy Spirit has strongly and urgently cautioned me during my worship time this morning…!

‘I heard in the realms of the Spirit a loud sound like the cracking of a whip, now the sound was powerful and deeply penetrating, then I heard these words, “SONS AND DAUGHTERS KEEP YOUR SHIELDS LIFTED, STAY ALERT, STAY VIGILANT AND REMAIN STEADFAST, FOR A MIGHTY BACKLASH FROM THE SERPENT SPIRIT COMES TO WREAK HAVOC AND WAGE WAR AGAINST YOUR PEACE, PROSPERITY AND VICTORY IN THIS HOUR”, at that moment a vision opened up before me where I saw a very large 7-headed Serpent writhing and thrashing on the ground, now in the vision suddenly my nostrils were filled with a foul and putrid stench that seemed to emanate from this 7-headed Dragon like creature, now as I looked upon it, I saw that it was gravely wounded and it looked as if it was in great pain, but I could see that this SERPENT spirit with its many heads while badly wounded was not yet dead, in fact I could see and feel in the spirit realm that this mighty SERPENT spirit seemed to be regaining its power and strength. Then suddenly I watched as the 7 heads of the SERPENT spirit began to rear up high into the air, READY and positioned to strike down hard again upon its prey.

‘In the vision the anointing came upon me and I began to Prophesy with a loud voice, “BEHOLD, THE BATTLE FOR THE BIRTHRIGHT AND KINGDOM DESTINY OF THIS GREAT NATION HAS BEEN FOUGHT AND WON, NOW I DECLARE VICTORY, VICTORY, VICTORY OVER THE POWERS OF SATAN AND HIS COHORTS IN THIS HOUR, YES I DECLARE VICTORY OVER EVERY DEMONIC DEVICE THAT HAS WAGED WAR AGAINST THE SOULS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, I NOW PRONOUNCE VICTORY OVER EVERY WEAPON OF THE ENEMY THAT HAS COME TO DEFILE, DISTURB, DISRUPT AND DESTROY, I PROPHESY THAT EVERY ATTEMPT BY THE HAND OF THE WICKED ONE TO KEEP THE AMERICAN PEOPLE FROM THE PEACE, PROSPERITY AND VICTORY OF HEAVEN SHALL NOT PREVAIL. I DECLARE IN THIS HOUR THE GOD OF PEACE WILL CRUSH SATAN SPEEDILY UNDER FOOT”!

‘Saints, I believe God is cautioning the Body of Christ in this hour to KEEP THEIR SHIELDS LIFTED, TO STAY ALERT, VIGILANT AND STEADFAST, I submit THERE IS A WAR STILL WAGING over the OCCUPATION of the White House.

‘I prophesy the power of the 7-Headed Serpent Spirit will not prevail over this Nation but will be crushed under the feet of the Bride of Christ…!’

In her latest posted just before 1pm (and 2 more subsequently), Veronika writes,

‘In worship this morning I clearly heard the Spirit say, “Daughter PRAY FOR THE HEART OF THE NATION”, as I began to pray AGAIN He quickened this Word to me that I shared 2 months back. PLEASE READ IT AND PRAY THAT THE FIRES OF HIS GLORY BEGIN TO FALL UPON THE NATION > “THE HAEMORRHAGING HEART OF AMERICA”  (continue here).

In a later update she says, ‘When the Father gave me the word yesterday concerning the 7-headed SERPENT rising again, at first I did not understand the significance of what I was seeing with the 7 heads, as I began to pray late last night that’s when the Spirit showed to me a powerful correlation between the 7 mountains of influence and the 7-Headed Dragon that I saw in the vision. I heard the Spirit say, “A BATTLE RAGES IN THIS HOUR FOR KINGDOM OCCUPATION UPON THE SEVEN MOUNTAINS OF INFLUENCE”, I believe there is a powerful and strategic assignment of the enemy that is contending over the 7 mountains of influence in this season. We need to stay PRESSING in for divine break through and divine intervention over the 7 mountains of influence in this hour and season’

2. Lana Vawser in Australia quickly followed her publication today of previously withheld details of her encounter with Jesus on Donald Trump’s Presidential Season with this important message:

A Call to the Body of Christ to Increase Intercession for the Protection of Donald Trump

LanaVawser‘This afternoon I had a vision which I felt that the Lord wanted me to release to call people to specific prayer. I know I released a word today regarding Donald Trump, but after this vision, I felt that the Lord wanted me to release it for a specific targeted direction to pray.

‘A little while before the election I had a vision where I was taken into what looked like a ‘commissioning room’ and I saw the enemy gathering hordes of demonic figures and he unraveled scrolls that had strategies on them. This particular strategy was to release blindfolds to the body of Christ and bring deception. To hinder people from seeing what God was saying and doing leading up to the election and in the nation of the USA.

‘This afternoon I saw the same ‘commissioning room’ and I saw the enemy and the hordes of demons and he unraveled a new set of scrolls. These were new plans and new strategies. As I looked closely on these scrolls I saw the word “ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS”. I knew instantly that these were plans to attempt to assassinate Donald Trump.

‘Straight away I felt the Lord say “My people, you need to increase your intercession over Donald Trump. Pray for increased angelic protection over him and around him. Pray for angels of ascension to be stationed around him.”

‘Instantly I saw a HUGE WORD in RED appear OVER the words “ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS” and it said “ASCENT”.

‘ASCENT DEFINITION: An instance of rising or moving up through the air; to rise up; upward movement; take off, lift off, blast off, launch, soar, climb. (Google.com)

‘I then felt the Lord speak again “As My people pray and pray for Donald Trump’s protection, as they call on the angels of ASCENT, Donald Trump will be lifted high above these assassination attempts and NOT be touched or harmed. He will be lifted up by My Spirit to a place where he will SOAR above the enemy’s attempts and roar.”

‘As the vision ended I had such a strong sense from the Lord that the people of God whether you agree with Trump or not, we need to unite together and pray for his protection. He is now in office and a place of authority, and the Bible commands us to pray for our leaders in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and he needs our covering right now. There is a war happening in the spirit and I felt an urgency to pray for his protection.

‘We need to be speaking LIFE over him and assignments of the enemy cancelled as angels of ascension come ministering to him with the Spirit of God to lift him high above the storm and assignments of the evil one.

‘Let’s stand together Church!’

A prophetic word from God about time – and on time!

Lion-Bites-logo-2012Upon returning home last Wednesday, as Nina rested after surgery, I caught up with email. That day’s from Glasgow Prophetic Centre was extraordinary! It’s not the first time they’re on target personally but the precision this time is breathtaking on several counts, as in my appended notes. First, the prophetic words.:

LION BITES: HEAVENLY TIME-MANAGEMENT

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say:

“I rule time and it is not to rule you!”

The Lord is breaking off a rulership that time – and lack of – have had over your life. And He is bringing a heavenly alignment into timekeeping, diaries, schedules, cycles and sleeping patterns.

No longer will your time be swallowed up by unfruitful activity, as God begins to align your life to heaven’s calendar! This will create time for you to begin to wholeheartedly pursue the call of God on your life – and with plenty of time to do so!

He says to you,

“Bring your time before me and let me show what I actually want you to do and what I don’t want you to do. Let Me tell you who I really want you to meet and who I really don’t want you to meet. Time will no longer be your enemy but instead it will now empower you to fulfil My purposes for your life on the earth.”

So, bring your calendars, your diaries, your phones and your schedules before God and let Him do some work with you today. Time is not to be your enemy but it is to be used by you and you will have the space to flourish.

Colossians 4:5  Behave wisely towards outsiders, making the best use of your time.

Now the topic of time has cropped up again it’s well to look at a literal rather than ‘dynamic’ translation of a couple of well-known verses. This will be important in the next few posts. The New King James Version and my study bible note reads:

Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time (‘kairos – opportune time, set time, appointed time, due time, definitive time, seasonable time, proper time for action. Kairos describes kind or quality of time, whereas chronos denotes extent or quantity of time’.)

Eph 5:16-17  See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what he will of the Lord is. (‘Redeeming the time is capitalizing upon every opportunity’ – but one teacher offers an insight based upon the meaning of ‘redeemed’ as ‘Ga’al, the ancient custom of buying back something lost through helplessness, poverty or violence’: eg. Isaiah 52:9 where the Lord redeems Jerusalem.)

Also, Lindell Cooley’s Saturday morning message at CHP’s Autumn Glory Day’s on how to be led by the Holy Spirit – plus abiding in the Lord – gave more scriptural background to this Lion Bite.

Notes:

Puzzle - Jannoon028I was stunned by not only the content but also the timing of this word on aligning our activities with the Lord’s calendar because that very day’s events confirm it IN ADVANCE, as follows.:

  1. Our usual daily routine had been changed to fit into the surgeon’s schedule plus the Lord’s help and comfort.
  2. Our church had scheduled a full day’s prayer cover in half-hour slots by various brethren.
  3. In view of my recent comments on time in a scientific blog I took the opportunity, whilst waiting for Nina’s return from surgery, to listen to Justin Abraham’s cutting-edge teaching On Engaging Time [2-part blog: Introduction & In 1st 15 Minutes].
  4. The heart of that deep instruction is succinctly summarised by this Lion Bite email.

An amazing God-incidence! I doubt it may have made such a deep impact had I checked email by phone whilst in the hospital’s cafe. So the Lord well-knew our day and lined it up with His dairy – praise Jesus that You are the Lord of Time.

We decree that YOU, O GOD, ARE THE EXALTED HEAD OVER ALL THE BRITISH ISLES AND EVERY NATION OF THE WORLD, that YOURS IS THE GREATNESS, THE POWER AND THE GLORY, THE VICTORY AND THE MAJESTY.

Aaronic Blessing: The Lord bless you and keep you, The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, The Lord lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace. Thus, we put His name upon you and He will bless you (Numbers 6:24-27).

We bless the British Isles with knowing that Jesus is the exalted head over all, that He is Almighty God and that His is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty. We bless the people of the British Isles with the joy of knowing Jesus as their personal Saviour.

We decree that: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER, and that HIS NAME IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME. AT HIS NAME EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT “JESUS IS LORD”, TO THE GLORY OF GOD. WE DECREE THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE BRITISH ISLES IS ON HIS SHOULDERS!

We decree: Jesus is the Good Shepherd who gave His life for the sheep. He is the Good Shepherd of the British Isles and He leads us in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.
