Stand Your Ground – Neil Mackereth

My End-times writing partner Neil Mackereth offers further thoughts and insights which strongly remind me that this topic not only proves the Bible is prophetic, both before and since Jesus’ life and ministry, but also affects everyone living today by predicting a 20th Century event that is focal – as though ‘ground-zero’ – to kick-starting the End-times. Thus, I underscore Neil’s opening paragraph…

STANDING YOUR GROUND

Introduction

In the last couple of years, it has often been the case that when I start to write an article on a particular topic, God changes my direction. Today is no exception: while drafting a paper on some general principles of prophecy, God guided me to a specific prophetic fulfilment, and to some related Biblical imperatives, that are being under-appreciated or ignored.

The Prophetic Fulfilment

The re-establishment of the state of Israel in a day, on 14 May 1948, was supernatural, extraordinary and the fulfilment of many prophecies; as in the accompanying Annex.

The detail in those prophecies is mind-blowing and their significance, describing a key turning point in the history of God’s people and a major stepping-stone in the accomplishment of His plans for the world, is seriously undervalued by the church.

Biblical Imperatives

The imperative that trumps all imperatives is that if the Jews were taken out of history there would be no Bible, no prophets, no Judaism, no Jesus, no Christianity etc. Obviously, that is not where we are. But think about it; if Israel were to cease to exist, the Bible would not be true.

Moving on, Israel is a land about which God repeatedly says: “This is MY land” (Joel 1:6; Zech. 2:5-7; Gen. 35:10-15).

God’s call to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3): ”Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Isaiah 62:1: “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory;”

Psalm 122:6: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem”

The Outworking

It is time to take the Word of God seriously, speak out, tell the truth, bless Israel, pray without ceasing, preach the Gospel and lift up our hands in Holy and joyful praise: we have a mighty God.

The Challenge

There can be few who would not agree that the “Palestinians” have been cursing Israel for at least 20 years, and probably for 77. The Bible shows there are consequences: I believe Gaza is under judgement. That does not mean that we should not pray for them and seek their wellbeing. There is no place for hatred in our faith,

What are the roots of this demonically driven desire to see Israel overrun, and the Jewish people eradicated? That question was answered in part in an earlier paper: Israel in the End Times. It is all part of Satan’s plan to ensure that there is no Nation of Israel, no land and no people, for Jesus to return to as King. In other words, Satan believes he can prevent the fulfilment of Biblical prophecy.

With few exceptions, the founding fathers of the church were Jews, and that remained the case until the Gospel began to spread. Paul defines and describes the Jews’ role in God’s purposes, in Romans 9-11: the passage explains the theology of God’s covenants with the Jews. Scripture explains that, spiritually speaking, Christians are grafted into the Jewish legacy (Rom. 2:28-29, Gal. 3:26-29) – the church does not replace them!

It would be anomalous for a Bible-believing Christian to take a passive position toward the Jews and Israel. As Christians, we stand with Israel, because they are forever linked with the spiritual promises of God, and we owe them an immeasurable debt of gratitude.

Ezekiel 37 confirms God’s commitment to make the land of Israel theirs forever.

Notwithstanding Israel’s clear Biblical entitlement to the land, the 1917 Balfour declaration to assign it to them, and the confirmation of the United Nations Assembly in 1948, Israel is portrayed as the aggressor for defending her land from relentless genocidal attacks. The Palestinian goal is not to secure a homeland but to drive Israel out altogether. The relentless animosity of parts of the Arab world is not politically motivated. As mentioned above, there are demonic powers that will not be satisfied until Israel ceases to exist.

Stand With Israel

Scripture says a time is coming when all the nations of the world will turn against Israel (Zech. 12:1-14). Do you see it is happening? The very influential main stream media have become agents of Satan’ propaganda machine and are leading people astray: antisemitism has reached epidemic proportions (eg. as in latest on the BBC as below).

There seems every likelihood that we are the end times generation. Our calling is to stand with Israel. As Ephesians 6:13 says:

“Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

‘Tim Davie, the BBC’s director general, refused anti-Semitism training for the broadcaster, the Government’s adviser on anti-Jewish hatred has revealed.

Lord Mann, Sir Keir Starmer’s independent adviser on anti-Semitism, said he had visited BBC bosses to offer training on three occasions since taking up his role in 2019. However, he said senior figures, including Mr Davie himself, turned down his repeated offers despite growing fears of an anti-Semitism problem at the BBC.

In a strongly worded condemnation of the broadcaster, Lord Mann accused it of failing to take seriously allegations of anti-Semitism and alleged anti-Israel bias in its reporting, saying there was an “arrogance at the top”.

He called for senior executives of the news corporation to be sacked for signing off on a controversial documentary….’

“The clouds of My Justice are rolling in!” – Rachel Emerson

REMINDER (22 January 25):

Now today, as though on-cue (Q = 17th letter of alphabet) this posting pops up by Rachel: 

In prayer today I heard the Lord say—

“The clouds of My Justice are rolling in!” And He gave me scripture, (Psalm 97:2)

“Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.”

The divine justice of the Lord is sweeping across the Land. For session in now in order! The Judge will take the gavel and He will take the staff— and we will see his righteous hand come down! He has not forsaken the righteous, not one day!

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)

Some have been waiting years and the Lord would say this day – “Your wait is no more as the clouds of My Justice roll in, you will rise and shine again!”

“For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” (Isaiah 30:18)

I thank God for this word and vision I saw today:

I was in a heavenly courtroom. While in this courtroom I saw lightning come from the Judge’s position as the accuser came to present the case— however, in an instant lightning came from the Judge’s stand, burning the papers of accusation and years of built-up demonic decrees and unholy archives in the room!

What the enemy has tried to hold on to the people for so long, the Lord’s gavel came down and said “Acquitted!”  For HIS Justice is prevailing this hour and divine reversals are preceding! OH, the promises of God will manifest before your very eyes!

Romans 8:33-34 – “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”

Colossians 2:14-15 – Jesus cancels the written code (legal accusations) against us, triumphing over the enemy.

Psalm 109:6 – A wicked accuser stands at the right hand of the righteous, but God brings deliverance.

So today, in the early hours of the morning, I was awoken from a deep sleep to a loud and clear sound in the Spirit realm as I heard these Words, 

”Daughter Arise! Watch!  Have I not told you that everything is Spiritual?

I say look — and look again! Listen — and incline your ear!

For a Trumpet Sound has been released from The Court-Room of Heaven — a Clarion Call — first to My Church, and then to the Governments of the Earth — and to the stiff-necked and rebellious leaders who have puffed out their chests, put their noses into the air, and stretched out their hands unto greater destruction and more corruption!

I say unto them, bow your knee and your stiff necks before Me — or they shall be broken!

I say, take a humble position! Go low and seek My Face for mercy in true repentance, before its too late!

Daughter, tell My Remnant to Watch and Pray — for I tell you again, this is a Kairos Time for Nations in The Valley of Decision.

Look up — for The Whirlwind of My Seven Spirits now comes upon Nations on the Threshing Floor, to sift and to separate, to scatter and to gather, to divide and to conquer!

Yes! For the Hour of Divine Distinction has come to The Nations!

Watch — for I tell you — the Books of the Destiny of Nations shall now be opened and the Scales of Justice shall be balanced!

Watch — as the Sword falls and the Sickle flies — for the Hour of Divine Removal has surely come to those who have chosen to turn and blind eye, to deafen their ears, and to defy The Living God!

For I tell you, their end shall be swift and their reward shall be great — as a millstone — a heavy yoke of Iron — shall be placed around their necks and they shall be drowned in the depths!

Listen! I say again to The Nation of Ukraine — take a humble position!

I say to The Nations of The United Kingdom — take a humble position — before your throne is uprooted and your streets given over to greater darkness, destruction and ruin!

I say to The Nation of Russia — take a humble position — before you are given over to even greater delusion, and become prey for the great Red Dragon.

I say to The Nation(s) of The United States — to My David on the Throne — take a humble position — for many ancient and uncircumcised Goliaths have now arisen!

I say to The Nations of Europe — take a humble position! Come quickly to The Altar and seek after Me.

Turn from your altars of Baal and child sacrifices!

Turn and Repent from your perversion and your wicked Ways — and I shall have Mercy upon thee and set you Free!

I say again to stiff-necked Nations and their Rebellious Leaders who have gone their own way — tick-tock, tick-tock — go the hands of Eternity’s Clock!

Turn and repent — for the Righteous Redemption and Great Restoration for Prodigal Nations that come to their senses!”

A Critical Hour of the Nations: “The Day of Righteous Reckoning” – Veronika West

So, a few weeks ago while I was praying, I saw the Nation of The United Kingdom. God spoke to me about a “great unravelling” that had begun.

A few days ago, again in prayer, I was shown The United Kingdom walking a tight rope, and then
I heard The Spirit say: “Watch for a Balancing Act — and a great Unravelling has begun!
Listen and pay attention — for the Prodigal Nation must come to its senses and seek Redemption.
I say, it is time to “Turn and Return” and to come out from among them, and separate yourselves!
Look! For the writing is on the wall: “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN”*
For I have numbered the days of the Kingdom of Belshazzar and brought it to an end.
Behold! Self-Appointed Kings of The Nations have been weighed in the balance and found wanting.
Watch closely! As NATO Nations — once united — shall become divided!
For signs in the Heavens herald a Divine Realignment of Nations on the Earth.
For even as the plumbline has fallen, so too has the Sword of the Great Peace-Maker fallen upon The Nations!
Look! For My Hand of Justice and Righteousness will move to divide and conquer — divide and conquer!
So I say Brace! Brace for even greater shakings that will bring Nations into a time of even greater Awakening!
Again I say to My Remnant — Watch and Pray — as Nations begin to Realign, for the Day of Righteous Reckoning has surely begun for NATO Nations that have run out of time!”

President Trump’s heart IS for the Kingdom of God

The first meeting of President Trump’s full Cabinet was broadcast to the world at 11:43 Washington D.C. time and shown live on BBC News (available on iPlayer ). After a brief introduction the President invited everyone to join in prayer (16:45 UK time) as he says,

“A couple of staff people will say a few things, but most important (turning around) where are you? This gentleman who’s going places, you all know him, Scott, you’re going to say grace..Thank you very much..”

Therefore Secretary Scott Turner leads President Trump’s Cabinet in prayer, as follows:

“Let’s pray. Father, we thank You for this awesome privilege, Father, to be in Your presence. God, thank You that You’ve allowed us to see this day.

The Bible says that Your mercies are new every morning, and Father God, we give You the glory and the honor. Thank You God for President Trump, Father, for appointing us, Father God, thank You for anointing us to do this job.

Father, we pray You will give the President, the Vice President wisdom, Father God, as they lead. Father, I pray for all of my colleagues that are here around the table and in this room. Lord God, we pray that we would lead with a righteous clarity, Father God, as we serve the people of this country in every perspective agency, every job that we have. Father, we would humble ourselves before You and we would lead in a manner You’ve called us to lead and to serve. Father, the Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

Well, Father, we today honor You and Your rightful place. Father, thank You for giving us this opportunity to restore faith in this country and be a blessing to the people of America. And Lord God, today in our meeting, we pray that You will be glorified in our conversation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“That was a very good job you did – you’ve done that before!” quips the President amid laughter.

It really is important (globally) to keep him and family in our prayers.

Is Donald Trump’s heart for God’s Kingdom? – part 8: National Prayer Breakfast 2025

President Trump shared a few points of his personal faith at the annual National Prayer Breakfast. (For whole address read White House Remarks document). He spoke about attending Billy Graham crusades and the unexpected changes in circumstances when God saved his life during that close-call assassination attempt:

From 22:40 mark (emphases mine):

“One of the incredible Americans whose memory my order will celebrate is also recognized with a statue in the Capitol, representing the great state of North Carolina, and that’s a man known — who everybody loved: Reverend Billy Graham.

He was something. My father used to take me to watch the “Crusades.” He would take me to Yankee Stadium. I remember it so well. I remember it more than I remember any Yankee game, and I’ve seen a lot of Yankee games. (Laughter.) Can you believe it? And Billy didn’t have a bat, so, you know, he’s pretty good. It was amazing. You’d have 60- or 70,000 people, and they loved him. They loved him.

I saw him with Franklin. I don’t know if Franklin is here. I just don’t know, but I’ve gotten to know Franklin. He’s done a great job with helping on tragedies, on problems like in North Carolina, California. He’s always the first one there. The work he does is — his father is very proud of him, I can tell you that. But Billy Graham was very special.

One floor below us, Reverend Graham’s statue stands with an open Bible, the page turned to a letter from the apostle Paul, which reads, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up.” Never give up. Never ever give up. You can’t….

…Never ever give up. There could be no better message for the leaders gathered here — and you are real leaders — that we must never give up, and we must never grow tired. We must never grow weary, and we always must practice good….

…A truth I confronted a few short months ago when there was an incident that wasn’t — it was not fun. It was not a good thing. But God was watching me. The chances of me being here — my sons are shooters. They’re really good shooters, Don and Eric. And they said the chances of missing from that range with that gun are — but Don equated it to a one-foot putt. That’s pretty bad. Two feet I can see missing (Laughter.) But one foot you can’t miss. It was the equivalent of a one-foot putt, is what he told me.

He said — in fact, he gained some religion. He gained — he went up 25 percent. (Laughter.) And if you know him, that’s a lot. (Laughter.) But he said, “There had to be somebody that saved you, and I think I know who it is.” And he looked up. And I said, “Whoa, Don, that’s come — you’ve come a long way.” (Laughter.) He’s a good guy.

But they my two sons just really couldn’t believe it. Had I not turned that right turn just at that time — and the audience — 55,000 people standing this way. There were just a few people in the back on the bleachers. There was nobody over there, except for my all-time favorite chart in history, a chart on immigration. Immigration saved my life. See? So, we’re going to be good for immigration, okay?

But had I not made that turn — boom — and quickly. It was almost as though a deer bolted. You know, they say the only way you miss when you’re a good shot is if it bolts? I bolted. I turned to the right to look at the chart, and I said, “Wow, what was that? What was that?”

So, you never know, but God did that. I mean, it had to be. The chances of turning, because there’s no reason to turn to the right. You know, the chart is rarely brought down. I brought it down maybe 20 percent and — 20 percent of the time. And it’s never on my right. It’s always on my left. And it’s always at the end of the speech, never the beginning of the speech.

And if I was a little more than that 90-degree angle, it would be no good. And if I was a little less, it would be no good. It had to be perfect. The thing went “shhh” right along the edge. It didn’t affect my hair. Can you believe that? (Laughter.) It might’ve touched it. Might have touched it, but not where it counts, not — (laughter) — not the skin part.

But it changed something in me, I feel. I feel even stronger. I believed in God, but I feel much more strongly about it. Something happened. And so — (applause) — thank you. Thank you….

…It’s like, did you ever see — you go to a driving range in golf and you’re hitting balls, hundreds of balls, thousands of hours. I never see a ball hit another ball. Balls going up all over the place. You never see them hit. It was amazing that that could happen. There was a lot of mistakes made, and it should have never happened. But regardless of that, it’s amazing that it happened.”

Inauguration Intercession – Wanda Alger

Probably most of my readers will be aware of this prayer published on Friday by Wanda Alger, but we repeat this prophetic declaration made in the Name and Blood of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come this weekend as believers of Christ in the nations, to lift up President Donald J. Trump, and the Inauguration of his presidency. As many evil forces have risen up against this confirmation, we lift our voices to stand in agreement with heaven’s purposes in this hour. We know that because of our collective voice we have heaven’s authorization to overturn any right the enemy may claim to disrupt this change of administration and rule.

We declare that this transition of power will succeed without delay or disruption and that every plot and scheme of the enemy would fail. May Your enemies be blinded in their steps and immobilized in their plans. May every plan to circumvent and hinder this Inauguration and subsequent rule be stopped and rendered useless and without power. Because of our collective faith and trust in You, we thank You for the increased fear of the Lord that has fallen upon America and the enemies of our God.

Thank You for causing the opposition to tremble and shrink back due to the presence of Your mighty hand that is bringing true justice and righteousness back to this nation.

We bless the angelic armies that have been stationed around President Trump’s administration and all the ground forces assigned to his detail. May they know they are backed by a heavenly host that far outnumbers any enemy threat. Even as they fulfill their duties to serve and protect, may they be awakened to Your presence and activity.

May the power of Your Holy Spirit be tangible to all who have been assigned to administer this process. We declare that none will be harmed, injured, or thwarted in their assignments, but rather strengthened and empowered from on high to perform their duties with speed and effectiveness.

Over those cities and jurisdictions where the enemy has laid claim, we declare that any plans of wickedness or destruction would be quickly exposed and extinguished. We declare safety and protection for all citizens and freedom from enemy threats and attacks. Empower Your people to stand firm in faith and resolute in bringing righteous administration back to the land. Empower governing leaders to walk in the fear of the Lord, to do what is right, and rule without hesitation. May every demonic assignment and scheme become dust and ashes in the presence of a holy God.  

We declare that President Trump will rule in the midst of his enemies, not backing down or wavering due to threats or intimidation. May his ears become deaf to the assaults from his enemies and may those who seek his life answer to You for their wicked ways.

Thank You for placing a shield about him and his family, preventing any attacks or assaults to touch them. May President Trump know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission.

We declare that he would show no fear towards evil, but overcome it with a zeal and passion for Your laws which bring life and liberty to all. We thank You that his heart is in Your hands and that You will direct it according to Your will and purpose.

Bless and empower all who have been elected and called forth to align with Your will in bringing truth and justice to this nation. Thank You for answering our prayers and going before us to deliver this nation from evil. May this Inauguration be marked by Your Presence and demonstrate the will of a holy God.

May this nation be blessed once again to shine forth Your light and demonstrate that our hope and trust is anchored in You, alone.

This afternoon while sitting resting in my living room chair, the Lord spoke to me out of the blue. I felt an urgency on it, not only for the next few days but for the weeks and months to come.

I knew by the Spirit of God that this is directly linked with the Presidential Inauguration of President Trump.

“Barry, tell my people that there is a great illusion coming in the sky!
The enemy is about to pull some things out of his bag of tricks.
You are about to see a show that is not real.
It is a massive plan to bring and release fear into the earth.
The evil kings and rulers, the Cabal and deep state are being used as pawns to the enemy to usher in one world government.
This is bigger than America the Beautiful.
Warn My people that the illusion in the sky is intended to provide a veil for these Cabal evil kings to bring harm to the Nations.
The enemy has created a plan so elaborate, so deceptive that even the very elect can be deceived.
It is multi-layered to impact not only righteous leaders coming into power, but also to ignite global conflict that will try to tip the scales against My plans and destiny for the Nations.
Barry, call My people to prayer and fasting!
Barry, tell My people to prepare to stand up!
The clock is ticking.

Arise My people!
Stay close to me, it is critically important!
Do not make a move without Me going before you and leading the way.
For the right move at the wrong time is the wrong move!
Keep your eyes on Washington DC there is more going on than you see.
Watch for the enemy from within!
Keep your eyes on Israel!
Watch over Iran!
Things are not as they seem!
I am exposing every trap the enemy has set!
It is time to flush out the enemy and all his pawns for the time for Justice is at hand.
I have called President Donald J Trump to lead.
And lead he shall.
There are events at hand, that will bring My dearest son Donald closer to me than ever.
He is going to step into what I have called him too on his knees before Me.
He cannot do on his own what I have called him to do.
I am bringing him an upgrade, however it may come in a way no one expected – especially him.
Raise your shields once again.

Trump Trial Travesty – Update 2, sentence and rebuttals

Update 1 is Veronika West’s recounting of the Lord alerting her to the significance of 10th January and days leading into Donald Trump’s second Inauguration as President. That very same day is when, after long deliberate delay following a travesty of a trial, its judge will sentence the outright ‘trifecta’ winner of the 2024 presidential election!

Yesterday, The Gateway Pundit reports Judge Juan Merchan as writing last Friday.,

“This court finds that neither the vacatur of the jury’s verdicts nor dismissal of the indictment are required by the Presidential immunity doctrine, the Presidential Transition Act or the Supremacy Clause,”

Merchan said Trump will not serve time behind bars and allowed him to appear virtually at his sentencing this week…’

The expert often consulted on US Constitutional Law as Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law, Jonathan Turley, begins his column in The Hill as follows,

‘At 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2025, the curtain will fall on the longest performance of “Hamlet” in history. Acting Justice Juan Merchan will finally decide whether “to be or not to be” the judge to sentence Trump to jail. (Spoiler alert: He appears set to avoid a jail sentence and likely reversal.)

Since Trump’s conviction in May 2024, Merchan has contemplated his sentencing options. This was to be the orange-jump-suit moment many longed for over years of unrequited lawfare. They will likely be disappointed. As some of us noted after the verdict, this type of case would often result in an unconditional discharge or a sentence without jail time. That prediction became more likely after Trump was reelected in November. Limits on Trump’s freedom or liberty would likely result in a fast reversal, and Merchan knew it.

While various pundits predicted that Trump “will go to jail” after the trial, more realistic lawfare warriors had other ideas. The next best thing was to suspend proceedings and leave Trump in a type of legal suspended animation. Merchan would hold a leash on the president as a criminal defendant awaiting punishment.

But the whole point of a trophy-kill case is the trophy itself. Merchan will not disappoint. While indicating that he is inclined to a sentence without jail or probation, he will finalize the conviction of Trump just 10 days before his inauguration. In so doing, he will formally label the president-elect a convicted felon…’

I’m covering the weekend’s news of this Friday’s ‘judicial’ sentencing of Donald Trump in two parts, the prophetic and then his and legal scholar’s reaction. So, first take prayerful note of this accurate prophecy posted in mid-December (note number of comments):


AMERICA: URGENT PROPHETIC ALERT: 10th January — 20th January 2025

While driving to an appointment today, The Holy Spirit suddenly took me by The Spirit into the Month of January 10 (sic) 2025. In that moment, I found myself standing in the spiritual realm, on that specific date, and I was made acutely aware by The Spirit of Revelation that this date held great significance. The Holy Spirit then spoke to me, saying,

“Daughter, I say, from this day, January 10th, until the day of Inauguration on January 20th, My People must watch and pray, for these will be days of great and intense spiritual contention in The Realm of The Spirit, for Satan will seek to bring forth a plan of destruction that will threaten the Destiny of a Nation.”

Friends, I submit this for Prayer.

During these specified ten days, I hear The LORD calling for His People to Rise as Watchmen on the walls!  This will be a time for fervent Intercession, for tearing down strongholds, and for declaring His Truth over every lie and demonic assignment that will seek to arise.

Prepare your hearts!

Seek Him diligently — and He will reveal the Warfare Strategies we need during this time!

Though the enemy desires to sow discord, fear and even destruction, The Spirit of The LORD says,  “Fear not, for I AM raising up a Remnant who will Declare and Decree Peace, Unity and a Smooth Transition of Power for the fulfillment of The Kingdom Destiny of a Nation.

I say Watch!  For The Eagles will soar at The Sound!”

New Year, New Focus: praying in the Spirit – Neil Mackereth

During Monday morning catch up with emails and responding to a discussion I was pleased to receive from dear Neil an urgent email, “…as it is time-critical for the New Year”. Therefore, please consider what the Lord has led our humble brother to share about strategic praying:

NEW YEAR, NEW FOCUS – PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

About 3 weeks ago, I started writing an article on how to pray in a time of national crisis. I opened with: “Watching the world spiralling downwards in disarray, and feeling overwhelmed by the evil influences that appear to be controlling most aspects of society, I have felt totally inadequate. Where do we turn when we discover that those organisations, once thought to be bastions of truth, justice and good governance, turn out to be biased, corrupt and venal?”

Then, unexpectedly, the Lord led me in a different direction (sort of!). The Lord told me to examine the root causes of today’s dysfunctional society, before considering how to pray.

However, I pressed on with researching what the Bible has to say about prayer. I soon realised that the Bible contains so much Scripture relating to prayer that a full analysis would take years! Pondering this, I came to the conclusion that my approach and commitment to prayer lacked direction, seriousness, urgency and, above all, that I was ignoring the guidance God was trying to give me, i.e., that I should study why society is so polarised.

As it happens, I was also trying to trace my family tree, which was proving a diverse and complicated exercise. In a flash of insight, the Lord gave me a glimpse (an impression) of two immense family trees, both emanating from Abraham, one through the line of Isaac and the other through Ishmael. For a few moments, I felt the pain, the bitterness and resentment of the “un-chosen”, the rejected, those who perceived themselves as having been dispossessed. Fertile ground for demonic influence. I saw the spiritual reality of deep-rooted hatred, and understood that killing the perpetrators of evil in the worldly realm does not stop the evil threads of disaffection and alienation from growing, from generation to generation. Rather the opposite, it increases the hostility.

For example, you might think that after the revelations of the holocaust, the defeat of the Nazis, and the execution of Nazi leaders, the spirit of antisemitism would be dead. Not so, it has returned with a vengeance! In the same vein, a missionary who witnessed the execution of Mau Mau leaders, was convinced that the defiant shouts by the men being led to the gallows: “I’ll come back, I’ll come back” were manifestations of the demons that possessed them, rather than from the men themselves.

What is my point? As Paul says in Ephesians 6: “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” and “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”. In other words, we are to pray in the real but unseen “heavenly places”, against the demonic hordes in the kingdom of darkness, where Satan rules. We catch glimpses of warfare, and the “rulers” and “authorities”, in the “heavenly places”, in scripture, e.g., in Daniel 10, Revelation 12, 2 Corinthians 10.

So, in seeking to determine what might be undermining the effectiveness of my prayers, the Lord has made it clear to me that my efforts have not been focused in the spiritual realm (“heavenly places”), and I have not sought to know (understand) my enemy. Time spent gathering information (“intelligence”), and seeking to recognise the enemy’s aim, is seldom wasted! Lucifer’s pride and ambition led to his seeking to exalt himself above God (Ezekiel 28:11-19) and to his downfall (Isaiah 14:12-14) Now known as Satan (the adversary), he seeks to undermine God’s plans for the redemption of mankind, and the second coming of Jesus. He roams the world sowing seeds of hatred and dissention through deception, deceit, envy, pride, unforgiveness, selfishness, etc. His aim is to so polarise society that God’s people become isolated, demoralised and ineffectual.

Paul and the NT disciples understood the essential nature of prayer as a weapon of spiritual warfare, and I’m sure many prayer warriors since (e.g., Rees Howells) have, and are today, fully effective in their intercession. I, however, recognise that I have under-appreciated the value of praying in the spirit, rather than in the flesh.

The Lord encouraged me to revisit, and study carefully, 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“ If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

This is a conditional promise of God, requiring 4 actions on my/our part as believers – “God’s people”.

If we fulfil God’s guidance, the 4 conditions i.e., humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and stop our wicked ways, then God promises to hear, forgive us and heal our land. It sounds straight forward, so why is our land in such a mess? First, I suggest that humbling ourselves (God won’t do it for us!) requires much more focus and determination, and it is something I have not addressed earnestly enough. Humility requires an act of the will, a determination to submit ourselves to God and to His word. Love and obey God, love our neighbours as ourselves, submit to one another. It should never be below my dignity to lie flat on my face before the Lord (yes really, not just thinking about doing it!).

The second and third stages are prayer and seeking God’s face. I believe the first stage is foundational, i.e., humility is necessary before prayer. We then seek to be in God’s presence, to talk to Him to hear from Him and, in the process, we should not be trying to impress others who may be praying with us.

The last requirement is to turn from our wicked ways. Surely that can’t mean me! Well, it is not addressed to non-believers, prostitutes, drug addicts, atheists, thieves etc., it is addressed to us, God’s people. Judgement begins at the house of God (1Peter 4:17) – I do not take the gospel of God, His precepts and statutes, anywhere near seriously enough. I continually “err and stray” from His ways. I can be opinionated, resentful, critical, dismissive, judgemental, unsupportive, hurtful, disrespectful and generally disobedient in all sorts of ways. I tell you the truth, the closer I come to God, the more I recognise my wicked ways. For me, conviction of sin and repentance is an ongoing process.

Clearly, the 4 conditions are challenging, but if we succeed, God promises to hear, forgive our sin and heal our land. Looking at this the other way round – if our land is not healed, it follows that we, God’s people, are not praying appropriately (James 4:3). We must diligently persevere in requesting the healing of our land.

God always keeps His promises: “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20). We can see examples of His absolute trustworthiness, expressed in the promises to (covenants with) His people Israel, and their survival over thousands of years (see recent article “Israel in the End Times”). Also, the incredible fulfilment, in accurate detail, of vast numbers of Biblical prophecies (about 85% so far). However, while I believe it appropriate to point these things out in prayer, I don’t think it right for us to “claim” or “demand” anything because of God’s promises.

Lastly, never quench the Spirit by ignoring an impulse to pray.

May the Lord bless, guide and encourage us all in our prayer life this coming year.

My dear friends, may our Lord and Saviour bless you and those dear to you with a revelatory and ‘Mega-merry’ Christmas, as implied by the OT Hebrew word ashar (Strong’s #833, as in Proverbs 31:28 on the virtuous wife):

‘happy, blessed, prosperous, successful, from original root ‘be straight, upright’.’

Better still is New Testament Greek’s makarios (Strong’s #3107), which means:

‘from root mak, indicating large, or of long duration…happy, supremely blessed, a condition in which congratulations are in order. It is a grace word that expresses the special joys and satisfaction granted the person who experiences salvation.’

This ‘Blessed’ is used in The Beatitudes, or the Sermon on the Mount, as recorded in Matthew 5. (Details New Spirit-Filled Life Bible, Executive editor. Dr Jack Hayford.)

May Christmas Eve, night and day be an especially blessed occasion of spiritual silence and insight for everyone.

I’d intended blogging this right after breakfast, but other matters delayed me – yet I note, as ever, it’s all in the Lord’s timing for my ’22’ has God-incidentally turned up! The next post will cover points of significance herein, meanwhile from my Fbk yesterday:

URGENT PRAYER SUBMISSION – THE NINTH HOUR: A DREAM/VISION OF HARVEST AND JUDGEMENT

So in the early hours of the mornings of December 9, 2024, I had a powerful and vivid Dream/ Vision in which I found myself standing and watching above a vast city, and instantly, by the Spirit of Revelation, I recognized the city as Manhattan, in New York City.

Suddenly, in the Dream, I saw two powerful Angelic beings. Both Angels were clad in heavy armour and were mounted upon mighty War Horses.

It was made clear to me by The Spirit, that these were Warring Angels, riding Warring Steeds prepared for battle.

The first Angel grasped a Sharp Sickle in one hand, while the second Warring Angel carried a Sword.

Now, as I looked at these two formidable Angels, I noticed that the backs of their horses were touching, yet each horse and rider faced in a different direction.

Please bear with me. The Angel with the Sharp Sickle faced the land, while the one with the Sword was turned towards the seas.

The Dream/ Vision suddenly shifted, and I saw a clock hovering over the City, and the positions of the War Horses and their Riders were aligned with the hands of the clock.

The hour hand pointed to nine, and the minute hand pointed to twelve, indicating the time: “Nine o’clock.”

In that moment I heard these words, ”I say again, the Horse and its Rider shall go forth upon The Nations, for a simultaneous move of My Spirit shall be seen, as the Sickle flies and the Sword falls.

Listen! The hour of Great Harvest and Judgement has come upon The Nations of the Earth.

Pay attention! Watch and Pray — for the writing is on the wall.

Nations have been weighed in the balance and found wanting!

I say again, for this is the Ninth Hour! Yes! Daniel 9 — For a Stitch in time shall save nine!”

As I heard those Words echo loudly in the Dream, I felt a wave of urgency come over me.

The atmosphere in the Dream dramatically shifted and a weight of The Spirit of The Fear of The LORD and Intercession came upon me.

In my Spirit, I could hear a loud Clarion Call to Arms.

We no longer have the luxury to be mere spectators and observers, but we are being Called to “Come up Higher”, to “Go up to Higher Ground” and to take our places and positions as Divine Partakers in God’s unfolding Plan on the Earth.

Suddenly, I saw the Angel with the Sharp Sickle in its hand point towards the land — and in an instant — past Visions and Dreams of great Revival and Restoration came up before me in the Dream and I was shown a great Harvest is waiting, ripe for the picking — yet the labourers are few and the soil lays fallow in need of the sharp blades of the harvesters’ ploughs.

But I hear these Words, “Prepare the Harvesters!” and suddenly I saw the Sickle in the Angel’s hand fly across the sky, and it pierced through the darkness.

Then I began to Prophesy, ”For the Veil of deception shall be removed, and the scales from their eyes shall fall, and many shall come forth from their caves and from the shadows of darkness and find their place in the Kingdom of Light!”

Now, as I prophesied in the Dream, suddenly I saw the Sword fall, and as I looked at the second Angel, I saw that his face was turned towards the churning waters of the Seas.

I saw that the waters of the Seas had grown tumultuous. Waves crashing against one another — and as I looked at the Waves, I could hear the desperate cries of many Nations rising.

Then I heard these Words ”Watch for the clash of kingdoms! The fall of mighty Titans shall be seen in the days ahead!”

As I heard The Spirit Speak, ”Judgement is at hand!” I saw as the Warring Rider raised his Sword high over the Seas.

I then Prophesied again saying, ”The Waves shall rise and the tides shall now begin to shift and turn over The Nations.  For the works of the wicked will be exposed and overturned, and the House of the Righteous Remnant shall Rise and Rule over the Earth!”

Suddenly, the sound of the Clock above the City began to tick louder, and each tick carried a strong vibration and heavenly frequency that resonated like a heartbeat.

I felt my own heart being quickened in the Dream and I could feel that a mighty acceleration over TIME was taking place! There was an urgency in the Dream that touched both the heavens and the earth.

Then, as my focus was turned again towards the Clock, I saw the hour hand of the Clock jerking towards the TEN (10), while the minute hand remained steadfast on twelve (12).

I then heard these Words, ”Watch and pray — for a Divine Order and Reset has now begun over The Nations!”

Again for a moment, the Dream suddenly shifted. It was as if I was looking at an hourglass that was draining, and with each grain of sand that fell, the weight of TIME grew heavier and more urgent in The Realm of The Spirit….

I then heard these Words again, ”Pay Attention! Watch and Pray! For the writing is on the wall!

Nations have been weighed in the balance and found wanting!

I say again, for this is the Ninth Hour! Yes! Daniel 9 — For a Stitch in time shall save nine!”

I woke up!

Friends, I hear a Clarion Call to True Repentance and to the place of Fervent Prayer and Intercession.

And for those who intercede in this hour, they shall have hearts that burn with an unquenchable Fire — hearts that will be filled with Prophetic Revelation — and an Understanding of the Times and Seasons and an unwavering intent in the days ahead.

It is TIME — to Call forth the Mighty Intercessors — to Gather the Holy Watchmen, for they hold the Keys to the Gates of Mercy.

The power of their Prayers shall shift and turn the tides of The Nations in the days ahead!

Prophetic elders denounce grievous false prophecy on Trump

STATEMENT FROM APOSTOLIC COUNCIL PROPHETIC ELDERS

” Concerning a False Prophetic Word Targeting President Donald Trump ”

” 1 Corinthians 14:29 (Amplified Bible, AMP): “Let two or three prophets speak (as inspired by Holy Spirit), while the rest pay attention and weigh carefully what is said.”

The Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders (A.C.P.E.) is a group of sixty seasoned prophets who have been meeting for 25 years. Several of the names on this document are pioneers of the modern-day prophetic movement. The ACPE was initially convened after several questionable national-level words were released — prophetic words that caused great confusion within the Body of Christ.

As a council of prophetic elders, our intent remains to hear the word of the Lord together and seek God’s wisdom to apply 1 Corinthians 14:29 when a questionable word is issued that could bring fear or confusion, neither of which God authors. It is for this purpose that we write this statement.

While we hear various words that seem questionable at best, we have never publicly called out a prophetic word as false in our 25-year history. However, when what is issued is so flagrantly false and carries the potential to incite violence and cause division in the name of God, we feel that we must denounce it as such as a group.

Further, there is a clear pattern of disturbing false prophecies being released by a minister who many identify as a prophet. These prophecies are being released to a global audience via social media. Since these harmful words were publicly released to a global audience, we feel they require a public response.

We will present them one by one:

1. The ‘God Punched Trump’ Prophecy

On November 4th, 2024 — Election Day Eve in the U.S. — a prophetic word regarding Trump’s presidency was issued by this minister. Additionally, on November 5th, 2024 (Election Day), this same minister released a separate word connecting a Trump presidency with God’s judgment on the people of God in America.

Excerpt from the November 4, 2024 posted video:

“God punched Donald Trump in the face and his teeth came out and there was a lot of blood. And that was quite symbolic of what he represented. The word of the Lord is this, that there would be a catastrophic time of him (Trump) leading and then he would be removed by God because he had become the champion of himself and then Trump fell over. His partnership with unredeemed sex, unredeemed power, and unredeemed money had opened the door for all sorts of evil to be released through him.”

2. The Trump Presidency Being God’s Judgment Prophecy

During the broadcast, it was also strongly inferred that prayer would not change the outcome of these words. They were settled.

“We, (referring to the minister and their team) believe that Trump is going to be a judgment on the people of God.”

3. The Leviathan Released Because of Trump Prophecy

Other words from within this minister’s group have been issued during this time saying a seven-headed Leviathan had been released across the world and brought chaos because of Trump. We also judge this to be a false prophecy that is based out of a political bias and hatred of President Trump stemming from a political world view that differs from his conservative stances.

Other “prophetic” revelations and declarations presented in the same media broadcast were also very concerning to us, but we will not specifically address them at this time.

4. The Judging the American Church Prophecy

In addition to the “God Punched Trump” statement, this same minister has also written and spoken on other occasions, declaring that the Church of America has exchanged spiritual power for political power. While this might be the case in some instances, no one we know has done that.

Secondly, the inference that the American Church doesn’t need Jesus now because they have Trump is also false. The churches and movements that we know of, and there are many, understand that Trump is only human and God reigns supreme. Trump is not God, and we are not glorifying him as such.

However, we also know that this election was not only a national election but carries a global impact — in other words, this election had implications that rippled through nations. Hundreds of thousands of people in the world understand the consequence of electing leaders who are for late-term abortion, gender transitioning of children paid for with taxpayers’ money, and other anti-Biblical positions.

5. The Tyranny and the Fall of Democracy in America Prophecy

Excerpt from the November 8, 2024 posted video:

“The Lord says, USA, the days of your greatest instability in your history are here and are now. The Lord says lawlessness, America, has been released upon your shores… There will be chaos. There will be loss of life. There will be riots. This will be the culmination of years, and the Lord says you will see in the natural realm a Romans chapter 1, where there is a giving over to tyranny, a giving over to lawlessness, a giving over to the full force of the moral rot …

“God is pressurizing and allowing a pressurization to come into nations where democracy doesn’t work. Democracy is about to not hold. Democracy is about to fail. It is about to become not the solution that it’s been for many decades. Some of the economic structures are going to fall and fold as God starts to say I will provoke you and your citizens to call on my name.”

The A.C.P.E. Judges these Words as False.

Our concerns are as follows:

  • We believe these words are not inspired by the Holy Spirit and fail to pass the scriptural tests for discerning true New Testament prophetic words (1 Corinthians 14:3; Revelation 19:10b; John 6:63; 1 Corinthians 13; 1 Corinthians 14:1; Galatians 5:22,23 ).
  • We believe the words represent harmful curses (Romans 12:14; Proverbs 18:21).
  • We believe the words, if acted upon by those who are immature or unstable, could incite violent actions against the president of the United States of America. (See example in 1 Kings 21 regarding Jezebel and Naboth’s vineyard, illustrating how an evil word — when spoken and acted upon — can come to pass and bring about severe and fatal consequences.)
  • We believe these words could produce a corporate agreement in a demonic plot, giving the enemy a landing strip and the power to fulfill the curse, thus bringing it to pass (Genesis 11:6; Mark 4:24).

1 Corinthians 13 strongly admonishes us to operate out of love. It is sandwiched between 1 Corinthians 12 and 14. The words in question do not reflect love.

Taking the Matthew 18 Approach

In accordance with Matthew 18, we have approached some of these prophetic voices with our concerns about these words. We asked them to retract these presumptuous and dangerous words, which we have deemed to have been prompted out of the wrong spirit. So far there does not seem to be any willingness to listen to the counsel of the voices that this person not long ago considered to be mothers and fathers in their lives.

Our desire was to address these issues privately and hope for a resolution that will bring healing to the person and the Body of Christ. Unfortunately, those efforts have not yielded fruit.

Due to the serious nature of the words being shared publicly — and how they could be used to either release a curse that one may unwittingly agree with or even inspire one to fulfill its violent rhetoric — we felt it was important to make a public statement about our views of these public proclamations.

We had hoped that there would at least be an acknowledgment that it was not wise to release these words publicly but rather to submit them to mature oversight and perhaps intercession. We are deeply concerned for the members of the Body of Christ who have been hurt, confused, and jarred by the context of the word and the dogmatic tone in which it was delivered. As a result of this grievous concern, and our deep love for this ministry and those who heard the word, the Holy Spirit directed us to issue this statement. In humility and in the fear of the Lord we do so.

Speaking the Truth in Love

We love the prophetic and believe it has the potential to bring God’s purposes into the earth like nothing else can, but we also are zealous for its integrity and ministry to be pure and ministered in proper protocol and wisdom.

We are praying for those involved in releasing these controversial and detrimental words and hope they will move in a rightful and mature way to heal the land and not speak division and destruction. We love them, pray for them, and believe God will move in their lives.

Father, we love your voice. We believe you have ordained a new day for America and that you will use newly re-elected President Trump to help bring this to pass. We believe in your mandate to disciple nations and ask you to help us to fulfill this commission! We love you and your kingdom and your people. We know that you love your prophets and need them to speak your word in purity and integrity as never before. We are praying for every nation to turn to you and receive your blessing! God, we ask that You bless us with reformation, revival, awakening, and a great harvest in this hour. Bless America and heal our Land!

SECRET: If you were listening closely you might have heard Trump mention a ‘secret’ he had with Speaker Johnson.

It is abundantly clear that if Trump wants to put his dream team together he’s going to need to make a BUNCH of recess appointments. The Senate is unlikely to agree to adjourn so he can use his authority to adjourn both chambers as long as Johnson cooperates. Is that the ‘secret’ Trump mentioned?

Under Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, the President has the authority to adjourn Congress in the case of a disagreement between the House and Senate over the time of adjournment. It’s a power that has never been used, and its scope remains relatively untested.

Here’s a quick summary of the conditions that would be needed:

One House Must Request Adjournment:

One of the chambers (in this case, likely the House of Representatives, led by Speaker Johnson) would formally seek to adjourn.

The Other House Must Refuse:

The other chamber (in this scenario, the Senate) must then refuse to agree to this request.

If this condition is met, it opens the door for the President to step in and resolve the disagreement by adjourning both chambers.

Once Congress is adjourned, the President could use the recess to make “recess appointments” under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution. This would allow Trump to install his preferred Cabinet members without Senate confirmation.

So yesterday, November 12, 2024, I was praying in my wee prayer hut, when suddenly I was taken into an open Vision, where I saw President Trump standing on the Presidential Podium.

He was about to put his right hand upon the Bible to take The Oath of Office, when I heard The Spirit say, ”Daughter, there is a War raging over The Oval and Oath of Office!”

Then I heard The Spirit of Revelation say, ”Listen! Watch and Pray, for the next sixty-eight (68) days will determine the divine trajectory of a Nation in The Valley of Decision!

I say Watch and Pray — for there are many deadly pitfalls along this way.

Again I say, Remnant — Watch and Pray! Shields up and Swords drawn — for the road to Inauguration Day shall be marked by treachery, treason and great trouble, for there is a battle still raging over The Oval and Oath of Office — and My Covenant Promise!

So pray! I say Decree! Decree!! Decree!!! — and it shall pave the way and forge a highway that My Glory may come, that My Will may be done, and My Word may be established.

Pay attention! Be alert and on guard, for a sound has been heard in the deeper realms — a cry of the birth pangs of a Nation now in the midst of delivering, has drawn in the great Dragon that is now circling.

As I listened, I began to pray fervently in The Spirit, and the burden of The LORD only increased as I saw a great War over The Oval and Oath of Office.

Satan knows that as soon as President Trump lays his right hand upon The Bible, the gavel will fall and a sudden mega-shift and a supernatural lifting and tipping of The Scales of Justice and Judgement will take place over The Nation!

Now, with these things still swirling in my heart after my prayer time, I went out to meet with some leaders in the afternoon, and not long into our conversation, one of the leaders said to me, ”Let’s pray for protection over Trump taking The Oath of Office — because that’s where the battle is!”

Those words served as powerful confirmation of what I had heard in the morning prayer time!

Friends, our Prayers in this hour and for the next sixty-eight (68) days must predominately target President Donald J. Trump taking The Oval and Oath of Office, for that’s where the enemy greatest threat and fear will be, as God brings a Nation into the fullness of its Kingdom Destiny!

So, in the early hours of the this morning at exactly 3:33 a.m. I woke to these Words, ”Tell My Praying Remnant, My Aarons and Hurs, that the arms of My Anointed Trumpet must stay lifted, and the rod in his hand, raised high!
I say again! Tell My Praying Remnant, My Aarons and Hurs, that the arms of My Anointed Trumpet must stay lifted and the rod in his hand, raised high!
For there is Battle raging and a War for Divine Restoration that is being waged and won.
Watch! For this is a Kairos Time — an Appointed Time for The Nation — and a Scroll of Remembrance shall be written, and an Altar shall be built.

As The Spirit spoke those Words, I saw President Trump standing upon a very high tower, and he looking down upon The Nation.

I could see a violent and intense battle raging over the 50 States of The Nation, and standing beside Him, were what looked like two figures.

I heard these Words, ”Apostle and Prophet, King and High Priest!”

… and I knew by The Spirit that what I was seeing and hearing, was speaking about The Power and Authority of The True Ecclesia now rising on the earth.

The rising, shining Remnant with a Trumpet at its mouth, sounding the sound of distinction that will awaken Nations in The Valley of Decision to their true Identity and Kingdom Destiny!
