GPS#11 part 4: ‘from the ends of the earth’ – New Zealand

Another incoming ‘alert’, this time the first of two from overseas was received from the Lord’s ‘Global Prophecy Signalling’ system a fortnight ago today.

Over that weekend I’d been musing over the query from ‘AD’ on a call for more prayer for our nation and Suzanne’s introducing me to her intercessory ministry, Passion For The Nation and booklet Declarations to Change a Nation – plus Sharon’s mentoring day being of direct personal relevance!

Furthermore, I’d noted a friend’s email that evangelist David Hathaway is calling for a national day of prayer (more on this and the other overseas ‘ping’ in part 5). So an influx of intercessory calls was gathering momentum and Monday morning 5th February saw more arriving – and aligning with what I’d heard at the weekend’s meeting!

“PROPHESY WITH ‘TEETH’ – like a ‘Threshing Sledge’!”

In catching up with my long weekend’s cyber in-tray of email and WordPress/Facebook notifications I espied a courteous request from ‘Victoria’, who blogs ‘from the ends of the earth’ in the North Island of New Zealand. She asks for permission to republish my blog of the revival prophecy that Arthur Burt carried since 1937 and known as ‘There Shall Be No Ebb’. It now features on her group’s Facebook calling prayers for an Awakening in New Zealand and the South Pacific – and it was soon to be repeated here!

In its republication I’d sensed a possible reinforcing of that word in broadcasting across a cyber-platform and thus, as a prophetical declaration, in keeping with what Dr Stone had heard of the Lord blessing prophetic words with ‘teeth’. That is, the prophetic’s now going up a level, beyond what Sharon a few years ago on its fulfillment getting closer to declaration (ie acceleration), into delivery with a ‘threshing’ action now it’s harvest time.  Hence for example, the ‘fortuitous’ re-appearance of the ‘castles’ prophetic word just after this New Year. AND this is borne out by the general tenor of new material coming daily from UK Prophetic Words (UKPW).

Also, each of the Saturday’s main sessions were of direct relevance to me; not only on very recent spiritual exercises (‘Engage’ with Jesus) and a 50 years-old ambition (being a ‘friend of God), but also regarding my calling 10 years ago to blog on the prophetic! So, my focus that week was to return to basics and blog in-depth on watching and what to watch for; which resulted in two new ‘About’ reference hubs on this blog’s menu – and I reversed the title of an existing one to follow them alphabetically (Brexit vs EU).

Then on Wednesday 7th, UKPW published Prophetic Decrees for Revival in the UK – Arthur Burt  – ‘There Shall Be No Ebb’. Day’s later I asked Suzanne Payne whether or not she’d been contacted or read Victoria’s focus on that word in NZ. She replied in the negative saying ‘No other reason other than it’s the oldest prophecy for the UK that I know of.’

In fact, Sue had introduced the rationale for republishing prophecies in that post, viz:

‘Over the last few months, God has repeatedly been calling His people to DECREE the PROMISES that have been PROPHESIED over OUR LIVES, our CHURCHES, our CITIES and our NATION.

‘For this reason, I thought I would be good to daily post KEY PROPHETIC WORDS that have been given for this nation, so we can MAKE DECREES from each Word, LEADING UP TO David Hathaway’s Day of Prayer for Britain 23 March (see here )

‘It would be great if we could be in unity in doing this and SEE REVIVAL BREAK FORTH in the UK.

‘Starting with decreeing this Word from Arthur Burt 1937: I DECREE over the UK:

It (Revival) shall come as a breath…

And the breath shall bring the wind…

And the wind shall bring the rain.

And there shall be floods and floods and floods…

And torrents and torrents and torrents.

Souls shall be saved like falling leaves from mighty oaks swept by a hurricane.

Arms and legs shall come down from heaven…

… And there shall be no ebb.”

Thus, we have a confirmation of the answer to the question AD had raised that began the influx of calls for prayer that I was observing – and now a reiteration and declaring of existing prophecies on both sides of the world – giving them ‘teeth’!!

GPS#11 part 3: Dr Sharon Stone – new prophetic season for UK

Now, I get to use the graphic I almost used for the first part of my 11th instance of God’s GPS (Global Prophecy Signals) but for ‘AD’s reminder as I was about to publish it!  To my mind it’s symbolic of the positioning of comms satellites over and around the earth but immersed in an influx of spiritual power and information.

This series of GPS#11 is about an influx of events and information I received during the fortnight covering the end of January and first complete week of February, all of which are related to the increasing need to pray for Great Britain. The first part featured ‘AD’s email reminding the Church to humble ourselves, repent of our wrongdoing and pray for change in ourselves so our nation maybe blessed. The second brought a strong word of encouragement for the ecclesia in following the Lord’s will and bringing about His plans for Britain. [NB: my editorial haste led to a couple of minor amendments being made – especially that we “Arise and accept the commission…”, and spell-checker changes of  ‘thou’ to ‘though’.]

As intimated in my New Year’s Blessing to readers, its relation to the Word for 2018 Leisa delivered, the ‘resurrection’ of the Word on Castles and Praying for UK from Liz Evans, all plugging into Jane Hamon’s word about receiving a Prophet’s Reward, I’ve been mulling over the possibility of a new level of insight and authority in my writings as being akin to prophetic declarations. (Some ‘sabbatical’, LOL.)

This was confirmed by Dr Sharon Stone in how she prayed for delegates at the year’s first mentoring day on 3rd February that, however we start the year, our posture puts us in a place of alignment to succeed, to fulfill and to accomplish the themes Father has put before us. Before teaching on how to ‘Engage’ with Jesus she referred to what she received in January when the Lord spoke to her and said,

“Sharon, I have given you a good reputation in the land.” For this I thank Him. He’s given me favour with many, but now He’s saying, “NOW, let’s use it!”  

“I felt like I was given TEETH…I mean the threshing instrument with teeth [Isaiah 41:15].

“You know when you’re pioneering a lot of the time you operate in a lot of protocol and become all things to all people so there might be understanding and agreement and wisdom, and you encourage and you persuade…and you do all those things and you change the label of the prophetic to fit in every place you go because you know that when they get a taste of it they won’t let go; because it’s their Lord, their Saviour, their Deliverer, their Healer, their Restorer, their Redeemer.

“And so when they recognise that’s THE voice they realise how contagious it is, then they realise they cannot live without the voice of God, without having that greater clarity on the inside. How can they fulfill their destiny without having a greater understanding of strategy? How can they possibly know what to do with their day without having a God that speaks to them as a time manager, even to help them fulfill everything that God’s called them to do?

“I’ve done all that and the Lord says, “Now let’s use that reputation!”

“Amen, I don’t believe that reputation solely rest upon my shoulders and so I pray right now for these (delegates):

“Father, we’re in a different prophetic season with teeth, not one with just protocol. Father this isn’t a season of political correctness!

“Father, this is a prophetic season of TEETH! And so where many of us have allowed diplomacy to fill our mouths – we thank You for that God – but I release right now the sharpness of Your sword; I release the sharpness of Your teeth to accomplish much in the name of Jesus; the sharpness of  the threshing instrument to be able to accomplish what needs to be accomplished.

“And so stand here and speak to the enemy and say: Where you have thought you could run alongside us and that we’d do nothing about you, we declare today that we put you on notice and command you: Back up and back off! – in the name of Jesus!”

Sharon and delegates then went into warfare mode!

Afterwards, I happened to chat with one of her associates, Suzanne Ferrett, with whom I’d shared what I’d ‘seen’ out at the Runnymede area a few years ago. That’s where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215 AD and now, in discussion, I learn about her prophetic intercessory ministry based upon a spiritual version of that Great Charter.

After starting to investigate further and whilst writing this I begin to see the ‘invisible jigsaw pieces’ coming together once again, because not only does this plug into the prophetic word on castles, but also into my researches on the history of Reading and the Thames Valley in the times of King Alfred the Great, and of his establishing a Christian government across ancient Wessex and Mercia – see Historical Research hub.

GPS#11 part 1: influx of calls to intercede for Britain!

Last month’s republished prophetic word on castles and the call to pray for establishing God’s rule in our nation was January’s most popular post.  So far this month a number of calls have come to my attention on the importance of intercession for Britain – not so much as a shower of ‘jigsaw pieces’, but more like God’s Global Prophecy Signalling system in operation.  On the last day of that month the first ‘buzz’ came from one of my readers and I sought and received permission to publish. ‘AD’ writes:

‘As a quick introduction my husband and I returned in Aug 2016 from 43 years in South Africa because the Lord led us to. It’s an incredible story in itself, but the reason why He has brought us back is to declare Life over UK, to build up and to plant. This morning after listening to the amazing speech given by President Trump I said, “That’s wonderful and I rejoice in his courage but Lord what about UK?  What’s to be done to begin to heal this wayward and fractured country?”

‘Instantly I heard the Holy Spirit say, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,  then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place”. 2Chron 7v 14, 15.

‘It’s so familiar that I could have just thought it up myself as an answer.  However every word was forcefully impacted on me as only the Holy Spirit does.  The point is, the Church is responsible for both the problems and the solution here.   It’s not for a denomination; it’s for His people, called by His name, to hear.  Christians to humble themselves and pray.  Find out by seeking His face what He is wanting to do. Unite and come together to pray as the Church in UK and so halt divisions caused by pride and prejudice. When we pray and seek His face together He will command the blessing.

‘Give up and turn our backs on all the wicked ways that have become the norm for Christians and repent of our sin personally and collectively THEN He will enter in and do what is needed.   It’s vital that the call to all believers can go out with the clarity of the Trumpet or Shofar call.  The Church is the answer to all the questions today.  It’s why Jesus warned us we would need to take up our cross just as He did and follow.  It leads to death but results in Life.’

‘I thought of contacting you as I read your posts.  Perhaps others are confirming this word and maybe it can go out using Christian media or however it can.  Like a fire it will run through the church first, and then spread to burn the dross out of the country allowing his grace and favour to reach the lost again.  I’m intimidated at the task as I sense it’s a crucible time for UK but I had to share.  May His people unite to fear His name and establish righteousness in this nation again.  He has called His Church to be the head and not the tail.   It’s time.’

AMEN, indeed it’s time Lord.  Later, in her reply the next day, ‘AD’ adds:

‘I was struck again how faithful God is in answering prayer.  This scripture was a response from God to the many specific prayers made by Moses in 2 Chronicles6 vv 18 – 42.  Even when I visited Israel many years ago and prayed at the Wailing Wall, and put my request for an impossible restoration in a chink in the stones… the Lord magnificently did the impossible…and now I just realised He was answering Solomon’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 6 v 32. Humbling but amazing!  Faithful God.

‘Even when we as a country deny him he remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself.  I think of the many times He has poured out revival, salvation, healing, and hope on this nation.  Apart from the disciples I don’t know of a nation anywhere that sent out missionaries with the word that gives Life like this one.

‘I’m believing the fire will fall again as in chapter 7 v 1.  Let it be.  We are all called to be salt to preserve and light to show the way and it’s urgently required now, but we as believers have got to respond if our sins are to be forgiven and the land healed.’

Finally, just now ‘AD’ replies to my advice of publication and reminds me of a picture I’d thought of in the night as being appropriate in this mini-series but forgotten! (So what I had gives way to what is now displayed, AND relates to the Jean Darnall vision – see Library under 1967 for links.) ‘AD’ says:

‘It’s very encouraging how much The Lord is doing in the UK. I had a vision of a dark map of UK with small pinpricks of light. .then as the numbers grew they all started to join up creating large areas of light all over. I’m looking forward to that!’

Aren’t we all!  AMEN – let it be so Lord.

FOUR Jesus’ End-Time Signs Seen – Pray for Christian ex-magistrate before Tribunal

‘As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked Him privately, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?“…“Now learn this lesson from the fig-tree. As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening you know that it is near, right at the door!”  (Mark 13:3, 28-29 NIV).

Today, Croydon Employment Tribunal starts hearing the case of Richard Page – a Christian who was removed from being a magistrate after he expressed his belief that children do best with a mother and a father. The case is scheduled to last for five days.

An ‘Action Alert’ has been issued today to Pray for a fair, just outcome for Richard from Christian Concern (click to read full details)

Richard was first challenged by his seniors in late 2014 when, after hearing an adoption case, he could not agree with his fellow magistrates that placing a child into the care of a same-sex couple was ‘in the child’s best interest’. Richard says,

“As a magistrate, I have to act on the evidence before me and quite simply, I believe that there is not sufficient evidence to convince me that placing a child in the care of a same-sex couple can be as holistically beneficial to a child as placing them with a mum and dad as God and nature intended.

“I am surprised that this Lord Chancellor should seemingly pander to the new political orthodoxy when what it amounts to is social experimentation on the lives of the most vulnerable children in our communities. To punish me and to seek to silence me for expressing a dissenting view is deeply worrying. I shall challenge this decision as it is deeply illiberal and intolerant. It is vital the family law courts always have in mind the best interests of the children…”

Richard is supported by the Christian Legal Centre and represented by its Standing Counsel, human rights barrister Paul Diamond. The Centre’s chief executive, Andrea Minichiello Williams, comments:

“The Lord Chancellor has removed Richard from the magistracy for allegedly being ‘prejudiced’ and for speaking out in the media about what has happened to him.

“This unmasks the face of the new political orthodoxy; it is unkind. It tries to silence opposing views and if it fails it crushes and punishes the person who holds those views.

“To remove someone like Richard from the bench is modern-day madness. He has a lifetime of public service and expertise in mental health. He is motivated by his Christian faith and a deep compassion for people.”

APPLICABLE SIGNS (About Signs refers):
  • #2 – Disciples will stand to testify before councils, rulers and kings and be beaten in synagogues.
  • #7 – “You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
  • #19 – (The coming of the lawless one is according to the workings of satan with all power, signs and lying wonders, and) ‘with all unrighteous deception among those who perish because they didn’t receive a love of the truth, that they might be saved’
  • #20 – ‘For this reason God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie (!!)…’

Bible Update: 2Thess 2 – Apostasy within ‘churches’ (Signs Nos 6, 15 & 19)

Now we know what ‘Signs’ we’re watching out for, here’s a couple that are happening nowadays and, regrettably, in too many churches:

  • falling away from faith (2Thess 2:3 – Sign #15)by
  • the unrighteous deception (2Thess 2:10 – Sign #19)

Moreover, Sign #6 (Mark 13:8, 12-13) too is appearing as ‘brethren’ in the faith are acting against brethren. Eg., self-styled brothers/sisters in lgbt ‘church’ in Blackpool seeking to ban evangelist Franklin Graham from entering Britain – utterly outrageous!

None of those false brethren have ever done what this renowned Christian and his charity Samaritan’s Purse have done across the world in implementing Sign #1: eg. opening up communist North Vietnam in being officially welcomed by government officials in Hanoi, where he’s preached the gospel to hundreds of churches there!

In Jesus’ apocalyptic letter to the 7 churches in Asia Minor, He spoke of His “hatred of the deeds of the Nicolatians”, a group claiming superior status that permitted idolatry and sexual immorality in Ephesus (Rev 2:6) and especially in Pergamos (Rev 2:14-15); and in Thyatira a Jezebel operated (Rev 2:20-21) where, unless they repented, Jesus would deal direct and severely with their sinfulness!

As sexual sins were sin then, then they’re sin today! Therefore, it’s not unreasonable to realise that leaders/attendees of churches who condone, encourage and practise such sins today are in the very same situation and need to repent earnestly.. In perverting the apostolic and traditional teaching on sexuality and claiming superior ‘moral’ authority to do so, they’re no different to the heretics and gnostics with whom the early church was in deep dispute. (I was involved in all that before being saved – “I’m Free!” refers.)

Update to the sequence of ‘signs’

Since publication of signs we’re to watch out for according to the Gospels and Paul’s letters, I’ve changed the bullet-point listing to numerical for ease of reference. Although verse numbering isn’t used, the sequence of signs follows that shown in the chapters stated in my introduction. Also, the cross-related signs from both of Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians are now inserted, and words attributed to Jesus appear in red.

Your attention is particularly drawn to Sign #6 (Mark 13:14) as it may be a ‘pivotal’ game-changer, and it also connects into Old Testament prophecy and that of The Apocalypse. (Their content lies outside the parameters of my previous post.)

After looking at who, why and when we’re to watch, we review what Jesus told us to watch out for:

WHAT?

The Who, Why, When & What of Watching – cont’d

Continuing the reasons for watching for the Lord Jesus’ return we consider when that might happen:

WHEN?

Jesus’ major End-time teaching was given soon after leaving the Temple with some of His disciples and having foretold its complete destruction, which was to happen about 40 years later after the infamous Roman siege of Jerusalem.

Jesus on the Mount of Olives:

When He went and sat on the nearby Mount of Olives, two sets of brothers (Peter & Andrew, James & John) asked Him to expand upon that prophecy, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?” (seee Mark 13, Luke 21, Matthew 24).

He answered in some depth, and by examination of the details we can conclude that not only does Jesus describe later events in that First Century but also those of a much later time, one yet to come but which is now at the door!  So Jesus did, but didn’t, tell them precisely ‘when’!

In talking of that far future time however, He tells them a parable about the appearing of leaves on a fig tree – which many believe refers to the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel.:

“So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it (or ‘He’) is near – at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place..But of that day and hour no-one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is…Watch therefore…I say to all: Watch!” (Mark 13:28-37 NKJV emphasis mine)

Other passages of the New Testament imply that He, or Holy Spirit, subsequently gave those leading disciples, and Saul of Tarsus who became Apostle Paul, further insights on the approximate timing of those signs, as below:

Peter preaching in the Temple:

After Jesus’ Ascension into heaven Peter, when teaching in the Temple, called people  to,

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of His holy prophets since time began…” (Acts 3:19-21 – my emphasis.)

So there’s a huge contribution followers of Christ have yet to make across all spheres of society towards such restoration – we’ve hardly started; not to mention both human and demonic opposition – but however do we restore ‘all things’?  We must conclude that only The Almighty is able to bring about the ‘restoration of ‘all things’ – and doubtless in the manner Zecharia prophesied to governor Zerubbabel:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit”, says the Lord of hosts. (Zech 4:6 NKJV)

Although we need to beware of false prophets, Acts 3:21 implies that the Lord will keep His prophets informed of His intentions in bringing this about (Amos 3:7). Hence the important relevance of contemporary prophecy.

Paul writing to the Thessalonians:

We know from Acts and accounts in Paul’s Epistles that this Apostle to the Gentiles was blessed with visions of and revelations from Jesus Himself as, for example, in the main scripture quoted by ‘pre-Tribbers’:

‘For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
‘For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.’ (1Thess 4:15-17 NKJV)

‘But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.’ (1Thess 5:1-5 NKJV – emphases added)

Maybe it’s as well the Palestinian leaders have been defiantly intransigent over the so-called ‘peace plan’ with Israel and, like Iran and Hezbollah, want to wipe Israel off the face of the map!  Even so, let’s keep watching!

Recent re-blogs’ references to one of eight possible eschatological scenarios, that of a pre-Tribulation Rapture, plus a theological blog’s discussion has prompted me to revisit and expand upon one of this blog’s earliest entries – ‘Why Watch?’  It’s now time to consider who, why, when and what we are watching out for:

WHO?

You, me and everyone, especially those who believe in and follow Jesus Christ – HE is the WHO and thus the basic reason we should be watching.  If you’re not familiar with His life, ministry and status, or with the fact we can be in a close, loving relationship with Him, then dip into this blog’s brief outline at Do You Know Jesus?

WHY?

For me, a spectacular, life-changing event in 1989 made watching very personal and connected into relevant, directive scripture. Then in 2008, wanting to check Jesus’ parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew 13, I opened my Bible and IT EXPLODED! and I heard

“This is ALL about to be fulfilled!”

Thus began my series of emails to friends and church leaders about prophecy, as told nine years ago this month in part one of  The Endgame Is Now In Play, wherein I wrote:

‘Jesus urged His disciples to look out for and observe signs of the times. Regarding their questions about His return at the end of this Age, the earliest Gospel account has Jesus stressing 7 times, “Watch…be alert…on your guard“ (Mark 13). Matthew 24 reports Jesus saying 4 times, “Watch…and when you see…” followed by the parables of the burglar and of the virgins > “Don’t be caught napping!” [Is the Church still asleep?] Luke’s account has, “Be always on the watch…” (Luke 21:36 and chapter 12 (NIV) has sections on watchfulness and interpreting the times. In each Gospel Jesus commands, “Learn the lesson of the fig tree…”. Also, the Apostles went on to give more indicators (Acts 3:20-1, Hebrews 12:26-7, 2 Peter 3, 2 Timothy 3 and the first and second letters to the Thessalonians).’

It’s claimed that for every OT prophecy about Jesus Christ’s birth and life there’s seven to eight times as many about His eventual return or ‘Parousia’, also called ‘The Second Advent’ or ‘Second Coming’. I’m of the opinion the likelihood of that event sometime in our lifetime is rapidly increasing !

Jesus stressed the great importance of His return. Eg, His instruction to the four who’d been with Him from the outset of His mission is given at Mark 13:33-37 (NKJV):

“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.

“Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning – lest, coming suddenly, he finds you sleeping! And what I say to you, I say to all, ‘Watch!’.”

That’s why I’m watching and, believer or not, you too are included, as can be clearly understood from Jesus’ words: “I say to ALL…“

How can we be sure?

You may object and say, “But even if that’s an accurate quotation it’s only guesswork”. That is, prophecies don’t always come to pass.  In answer and in synopsis only [more details here], I therefore offer the following key to foretelling the future.:

We’re privileged to learn what Almighty God has decided is to happen. He shared his plans with a select number of ancient sages, or prophets, over a long period that started 29 centuries ago, and several centuries before Christ. Amidst extensive instructions He told the prophet Isaiah:

“For I am God and there is no other, I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand and I shall do all My pleasure’…” (Isaiah 46:9-10 NKJV)

In fact, some years before Isaiah the first of the ‘writing prophets’ had received a distinct word about God’s intention to divulge His plans. This is recorded in Amos’ scroll at the seventh verse of the third chapter (in modern notation):

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

In “What If They’re wrong?” Tony Puccio looks at why pre-Tribulation Rapture claims may be mistaken. In actual fact, 20th Century history disproves pre-Tribbers’ ideas!

In his post linked below, R.J Dawson recounts his personal interest in those ideas and demonstrates why they were wrong. Esssentially, those theories failed to grasp not only scripture but also political events believed to have been of direct relevance. I’d heard of the best-seller R.J refers to, but being a New Ager in those days I thought ‘archaic’(!) Christians were jumping on the bandwagon of cataclysm/conspiracy theories. (The Lord had a non-Christian give me a businessman’s Biblical analysis of modern geopolitics, ‘The Invisible Hand’.)  I understand those theories arose out of Reformed Theology’s deep disdain for the Roman Catholic church.

A thought-provoking post from Tony in Tucson who reflects the conclusion I reached on learning about Pre-Tribulation Rapture, which appears mainly in American literature. In particular I like his rationale and conclusion, especially the reference to Matthew 11:6 as that’s what the Lord popped into my mind a few weeks ago as the answer when dealing with self-appointed ‘heresy-hunters’!!

John Kilpatrick: 21 powerful prophetic words for 2018

‘This is a Year of Divine Interruptions’ and ‘Final Word’, respectively the opening and closing of twenty-one words delivered Friday 19th January deal with the global scene specifically. We heard these words after I’d finished drafting the previous post on my insights gained a fortnight ago on Zecharia 2.

Revd John Kilpatrick brings what the Lord told him after waking him on 23rd December 2017 and four minutes into this message he refers to the issues over Jerusalem and Israel that I’ve blogged about.

For thus said the Lord of Hosts, after [His] glory had sent me [His messenger] to the nations who plundered you – for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye: (9) “Behold I will swing my hand over them and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me. Sing and rejoice, O Daughter of Zion: for behold I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you”, says the Lord. I humbly submit that the above verses about defending Jerusalem may be relevant to the unending influx of millions of Muslim refugees into Europe, as well as to Britain’s leaving the European Union – even to the EU’s grossly hypocritical failure to apply an international law!

Could this be the real reason behind our getting out of the EU?

AN INSIGHT UPON SCRIPTURE

When using the above verses to open the first part of this Zecharia 2 Update (on EU Supports Palestine Against Israel) I was going to refer to the original Hebrew. However, the website wouldn’t open and so I opened my NKJV Study Bible but got nudged for some reason to grab the classic edition of the Amplified Bible from my bookshelf.  During the course of drawing attention to European hostility towards Israel, I noticed this Bible’s verse 9 hints at a very subtle nuance: one that may explain the consequences upon Europe of the EU’s policy!

Chapter 2 covers the third vision prophet Zecharia received, which is of the measuring and rebuilding of Jerusalem and of the Temple. Although set in the decline of the Babylonian Empire it foreshadows the eschatalogical New Jerusalem. YET I WAS STRUCK THAT IT MAY APPLY TODAY TOO!

Historically, verse 9 describes the Lord’s retribution upon the Babylonians, yet it could also promise that happening any time in the future. BUT AHA! – it’s already been happening!!  That is, the consequences of EU hostility are already ongoing, or have been so for at least the past couple of years in the massive migration of refugees into Europe!

My quick reading of that short text led me to colour it to distinguish between what I thought is the writer’s narrative (v.8) and the Lord’s words (v.9), but later I learned that translation of v.8 is difficult. The New Bible Commentary’s opinion is ‘The speaker is the Messiah, who is sent to the Jews, to whom pertains the glory (cf Rom 9:4) to be their Protector…(repetition of) ‘sent me’ emphasises the importance of the commission…to protect His own from all hostile powers that menace this precious possession. Others, however, think that the pronoun refers to the enemies of Israel and means that they endanger their own safety by hostility towards the elect‘ (emphases mine).

In fact, both option could now be in play: ie. not only to protect His own from all hostile powers menacing His people but also to act specifically against them!

Historically, the colonial empires of Britain, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Holland had taken control of lands across Africa, Asia and the Middle-East and used their populations as a source of labour, servants and military personnel.

Verse 9 clearly implies that such servants of European colonial empires will come and ‘plunder’ those empires, either there or back on home territory, as a Divine directive. Why? Because they’ve ‘touched the apple of His eye’ – His Jewish people and His holy city – Jerusalem!

That is, nations which permit their citizens to insult and denigrate the Jewish people and their state – and making others boycott Israeli goods and services! – would eventually find that the Lord’s declared intention gets applied in their own lands, which is what we’ve been seeing before our very eyes.  And this is despite many European nations subscribing to the Laws of Holocaust Denial.

EU PREFERS DESCENDANTS OF PHILISTINES TO THOSE OF ISRAELITES

As mentioned in the previous Update, not only the Palestinian leadership but also that of the European Union refuse to recognise and stand resolutely against the Word of God.

On his December visit to Europe Israel’s PM Netanyahu encouraged its leaders to be open to Donald Trump’s recognising the reality of Jerusalem being Israel’s capital, but Europe’s foreign policy chief rejected his plea outright. That’s hardly surprising in view of the EU’s parliament building in Strasbourg being specifically built like the Tower of Babel, as described in UK/EU in/out #2 cont’d – Significant Spiritual Signs.

Here’s this week’s events that contribute towards a scriptural judgement; headlines and extract as on Koenig World Watch Daily homepage:

Abbas urges EU to swiftly recognize Palestine, says it will encourage peace

‘Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday urged the member states of the European Union to “swiftly” recognize the state of Palestine, arguing such a move would preserve the Palestinians’ hope for peace.

“We truly consider the European Union as a true partner and friend, and therefore we call its member states to swiftly recognize the state of Palestine and we confirm that there is no contradiction between recognition and the resumption of negotiations,” Abbas said in an address in Brussels. 

‘Abbas, who gave his remarks alongside EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, called on the EU to play a larger role in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. “The EU should play a political role in this Middle East peace process in order to reach a just solution on the basis of internationally recognized terms and decisions,” Abbas said.’

Council of Europe to vote on condemning Trump’s Jerusalem recognition

Why is the EU warmly welcoming this rabid racist and Holocaust denier?  He should have been arrested as soon as he set foot in Europe!

Maybe the Lord regards Abbas as a modern-day Haman, as intimated in the opening minutes of the prophetic words for 2018 and beyond delivered by John Kilpatrick. (We’d not heard them prior to my completing this post – so this sentence has only been added at the last minute before publication.)

Caroline Glick, the internationally respected editor and journalist with first-hand experience of coordinating negotiations with the PLO, writes of Mahmoud Abbas’ personal history in Time for Trump to cut the cord on the Palestinians:

‘Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said that Abbas’ remarks (in Cairo at PLO conference on 19th January) harken back to “things that led him to be accused years ago of anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.” Abbas’ PhD. thesis, which he wrote for a Soviet university controlled by the KGB in the 1960s denied the Holocaust.

‘Over the past 25 years, the Western and Israeli leaders that have hailed Abbas as a moderate dismissed the significance of his doctorate – which he later published in Jordan as a best-selling book – saying it was a relic of the PLO’s former rejection of Israel’s right to exist…

‘Contrary to Rivlin’s view of Abbas racist assault on Jews as a throwback to an earlier time, antisemitic diatribes have been a consistent feature of Abbas’ public statements, whether he is speaking to Arab or Western audiences.

‘In a speech before the European Parliament in 2016, for instance, Abbas recycled the medieval blood libel that Jews poison the wells of Christians. That blood libel incited the death of thousands of Jews through the ages.

‘Speaking to European lawmakers, Abbas said, “Certain rabbis in Israel have said very clearly to their government that our water should be poisoned in order to have Palestinians killed.”

‘As for his Holocaust denial being a thing of the past, Abbas posted his doctoral thesis on his official website. His lies are taught as fact in Holocaust education in the Palestinian school system – which he controls.’

BREXIT – OUR ‘GET-OUT-OF-JAIL’ CARD!

Clearly, Britain’s departure from the EU will help us avoid what the Lord will bring upon Europe – although we are not an entirely innocent party!  Doubtless, the verses we’ve considered is a very small portion of all scriptures behind the Lord’s warning to Britain to “Come out!” that David Noakes received in November 2015, part of which reads:

“Rather than rely on Me and my faithfulness to you, you chose, for worldly purposes, to join yourself to an institution which has denied my Name and refused to acknowledge Me in its councils. My fierce anger is upon that institution on account of its rebellion, its defiant rejection of me and its hardness of heart towards my ancient people Israel.

“I warn you now that the European institution will not repent, even though I bring disaster and destruction upon it. I urge you, O Britain still beloved by Me for the sake of your godly forefathers, come out of her, so that you may not be caught up in that same destruction, for I am even now arising in judgment to bring to nothing what she has sought to achieve. If you will separate yourself from her declared rejection of God, I will have mercy upon you and restore my hand of protection; and I will use you once again to bring light to many lost in the darkness which is now steadily increasing.

Thus, the Lord’s deep desire is for the UK to avoid the judgement He’s already bringing upon the EU (latest at Davos 2018 re France and Ireland on Brexit deal).

Pray for Pope Francis to take a stand upon the Bible

Thursday 18th to 25th January is designated as Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which was started 110 years ago within the Roman Catholic Church and has since become an international ecumenical act of observance.

In Liphook, Anglican, Methodist and Catholic churches each sent a representative to the next church in that sequence to say the morning prayers during yesterday’s services. In our Church Centre, after leading the prayer Jesus taught His disciples to pray, Catholic Richard T opened his prayers for unity by praying for the Pope and all church leaders.

I added personally that Pope Francis have a direct revelation of the Lord’s heart for and of holy writ concerning Jerusalem because his recent actions have left a great deal to be desired. It certainly appears he’s either ignorant of the scriptures, or has an entirely different agenda, notwithstanding apparently benign intentions.

Were Pope Francis a Bible-believing Christian he’d need to abide by that church’s own teachings on scripture’s authority. His predecessor Leo XII’s famous encyclical of 1893  ‘Providentissimus Deus‘ on ‘the importance for Catholics to study the Holy Scriptures solemnly affirms that the entire Bible is God’s Word, holy and true’. Fifty years later Pope Pius XII in his encyclical ‘Divino Afflante Spiritu’ notes how Leo’s program for scriptural studies bore great fruit so that “confidence in the authority and historical value of the Bible..among Catholics is completely restored”!  [The Holy Family Bible, 1956]

Thus, Pope Francis has no excuse for failing to stand upon even the very few scriptures covered in this blog on the centrality of Jerusalem in Divine Providence, or for lending support to teaching and doctrines opposed to God’s Holy Word!

December 6, 2017: Pope supports UN Resolutions on Jerusalem

“Everyone should be committed to respecting the city’s status quo, in accordance with the pertinent UN resolutions …I pray to the Lord that its identity to be preserved and strengthened for the benefit of the Holy Land, the Middle East and the whole world and that wisdom and prudence prevail to prevent new elements of tension from being added to a global context already convulsed by so many cruel conflicts.”

December 25, 2017: Pope supports two-states and asks for peace in Jerusalem and the Holy Land. supports UN borders

“We see Jesus in the children of the Middle East who continue to suffer because of growing tensions between Israelis and Palestinians. On this festive day, let us ask the Lord for peace for Jerusalem and for all the Holy Land. Let us pray that the will to resume dialogue may prevail between the parties and that a negotiated solution can finally be reached, one that would allow the peaceful coexistence of two States within mutually agreed and internationally recognized borders.”

January 19, 2018: Pope renews call to maintain Jerusalem status quo

Referring to “the unique nature of Jerusalem” in a letter to Egypt’s top Muslim cleric, Ahmed al-Tayeb, Francis said that “only a special status, guaranteed by the international community, can preserve its identity, (and) unique vocation as a place of peace.”  Only that “would allow a future of reconciliation and hope for the entire region,” he said. “The Holy See will not cease from urgently calling for dialogue to resume between Israelis and Palestinians for a negotiated solution aimed at the peaceful coexistence of two states,” the letter continued.

As that cleric should be treated with the utmost suspicion, the pontiff’s dealings with him could be regarded as the height of stupidity or duplicity!

Koenig is of the opinion that, in his continued support for an Arab State in Judea, Samaria and E Jerusalem, the Pope needs to read the Bible’s prophecies, especially Zechariah chapter 12.  Also that, having met with Jordanian leader King Abdullah II, Francis will – along with Turkey’s president Erdogan on February 5 – call on President Trump to reverse his Jerusalem declarations.  Not forgetting that last month Erdogan cited the Pope’s statements in support of his outrage against Trump and Israel!!

DUPED PONTIFF & MENDACIOUS IMAM?

Not taking a stand upon the Word of God leaves Rome’s Pontiff the fall-guy to ‘the most influential Muslim in the world’ (2013 survey).  The Kingdom’s expectation of high levels of personal honesty expected of disciples and knowledge of ‘The Father of Lies’ makes Christians blithely ignorant of religiously sanctioned lying in order to protect or promote Islam.

As I stated in Catholic and Orthodox Churches Choose Fealty to 7th Century Muslim Edict,  deception and dissimulation are sanctioned in the Qur’an under the doctrine of  taqiyya. According to a former Islamic studies professor at the American University of Beirut, Sami Mukaram, “Taqiyya is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era”.

“There’s nothing like knowing Arabic—that is, being privy to the Muslim world’s internal conversations on a daily basis — to disabuse oneself of the supposed differences between so-called “moderate” and “radical” Muslims.”  (Raymond Ibrahim, author of The Al Qaeda Reader.)

Pope Francis gave a noble speech upon meeting Ahmed Al-Tayeb last April (read his 12 Key Points) – and has since met him a third time – but author Raymond, of Coptic Christian parents, thoroughly demolishes the facade in documenting the cleric’s history of adherence to all the extreme demands and nuances of Islam in ‘The Real Bomb is in Islam’s Books‘ and Dr Ahmed al-Tayeb: Meet “the World’s Most Influential Muslim”, published 2017 and 2016 respectively.

So, let’s pray for the scales to fall from the pontiff’s eyes and for him to hear our Father in Heaven on this whole issue. Also, for Ahmed al-Tayeb to have a ‘Damascus road’ experience of his supposed prophet Jesus being The Son of God…AMEN!

Jerusalem has been proclaimed by President Trump as the capital of Israel. This has caused much turmoil among the surrounding nations to put it mildly. What I’ve seen in a vision today , however, was a walled city and there was a lot of dust being kicked up without the city. On each of the 4 corners of the walls surrounding the city I see an angel posted with a trumpet pressed to his lips waiting for orders to blow it.

Lana Vawser: beware, the snake is after your stake!

As well as RJ Dawson’s timely article in the previous post, I’m thankful for confirmation from the Lord of my recent activity investigating modern-day inquisitors. Purporting to act under Biblical warrant, implicit in the Protestant doctrine of ‘Sola scriptura’ as their ‘be-all and end-all” rationale, nevertheless I personally received a specific scripture from the Lord about them (Luke 6:23) – and which is confirmed in the last word below!

Examination of the heresy-hunters’ website and especially the arrogantly self-righteous replies to readers querying any article – as well as the logo and their justification of it – suggested the slithering serpent is at work seducing them into being accomplices of the Accuser of the Brethren!  Therefore, take careful heed of what Lana brings below (emboldening added):

DON’T LISTEN TO THE SNAKE, HE’S TRYING TO STEAL YOUR STAKE

I heard the Holy Spirit whisper “Don’t listen to the snake, he is trying to steal your stake.”

The Lord showed me the enemy slithering around like a snake, so crafty and deceptive and whispering lies to many in the body of Christ. Whispering lies of foreboding, whispering lies of “what if”, whispering lies of “this or that is going to happen to you”. The enemy is slithering around whispering lies concerning the goodness of God, and I saw the enemy also specifically targeting people with fear, regarding the protection of God. The enemy is attempting to bring doubt and fear into the hearts of many believers right now and for some with greater intensity. The enemy is attacking the revelation of God’s goodness and kindness and he is wanting to hinder you, silence you, and keep you blind to the authority that you have in Christ.

The Holy Spirit showed me, that the enemy is coming and he is whispering these lies, because of the STAKE that many of you have placed in the ground. You have been following the prompting of the Holy Spirit to place the STAKE’S in the ground to mark out and occupy the territory that the Lord has said is yours.

The Lord showed me that many of you HAVE occupied new ground. You HAVE moved into the new land, you HAVE crossed over and you HAVE begun to possess what the Lord has been speaking to you about, and the enemy KNOWS that. He knows that the stakes in the ground are your claim of ownership given to you by the Holy Spirit and you have met your land of increase.

You have begun to move with the Holy Spirit putting in place the blueprint of heaven, and marking out and building that which He has shown you, and suddenly there is opposition from the whispering father of lies.

Friends, take heart! For the land that you have entered into is the most fruitful land of harvest you have entered into before. The enemy is looking for ways to come in and to hinder, delay and steal the harvest, but he will NOT prevail.

DO NOT ENGAGE AND LISTEN TO THE SNAKE

Do not even engage with his whispers. Be present! Be alert! Be engaged with the truth of heaven and the whispers from the Father. For where the enemy is whispering to steal, kill and destroy especially with fear, the Lord showed me that every ENGAGEMENT with His truth are DROPPING SEEDS in the Spirit in your new land that are are going to SUDDENLY blossom into great harvest with DOUBLE PORTIONS being reaped.

Be INTENTIONAL to SOW TRUTH. Every time the enemy whispers his lies, don’t listen, SOW TRUTH. KNOW that you have entered your land. You have entered the new level of increase God has for you, and you have moved into the new blueprint of heaven that you are going to see greater favour from the hand of God, unlike you have experienced before. Be intentional and ENGAGE with the Word of God. ASK the Holy Spirit what His truth is and what HE is saying and then ALIGN with it. Decree it, sing it, pray it.

“Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph.” – Ephesians 6:14 (The Passion Translation)

“In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God.” – Ephesians 6:16-18 (The Passion Translation)

The enemy is lying to you. What he is whispering are smoke and mirrors, lies, lies, lies!

Don’t listen to the snake, He is trying to steal your stake, but he won’t prevail as you continue to stand in truth and your new land will not be filled with destruction, but God’s desire and heart for your land will explode.

This scripture was one of several similar ones in my discussions yesterday about arrogant, self-appointed heresy-hunters, or modern-day Inquisitors, who sit in judgement and condemn their brethren in Christ. They watch out for and denounce division whereas actually fomenting it, thereby serving only to further the strategies of the accuser of the brethren!
