HE IS RISEN! – Time and Quantum effects in Jesus’ Resurrection

In preparation for the Holy-days’ weekend Nina creates a tableau for contemplating Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. She’s inspired about what items to collect and arrange, usually including a rock with a central hole eroded by the sea and which we found on a beach. It serves as both the ‘skull’ and garden tomb of Golgotha. For example, the above display has a scarf as a ‘river of life’ flowing out of the empty cave/tomb below the cross. (In 2012 it gave an insight that I’ll share below.)

Maundy Thursday is celebrated as the night when Jesus and His twelve, principal disciples ate the Passover Seder, or meal, in advance of the main schedule in order to be ready for His being the sacrificial Lamb of God.

Following the meal, one disciple betrayed Him by leading Temple guards to capture Him at night for trial by a ‘kangaroo’ court of Jewish leaders. It was a foregone conclusion that they’d demand authorisation of His death from Pontius Pilate, the Roman Prefect, or governor, of Judea.

If you’re unfamiliar with this true story and how it led to Jesus’ gruesome torture, death and burial followed by his amazing bodily resurrection and appearance to His disciples, read doctor Luke’s investigative account and the personal account of Jesus’ closest disciple John.

Later, Saul of Tarsus, a Jewish leader violently opposed to them, had a life-changing encounter with the Ascended Jesus en-route to Damascus. He became known as Apostle Paul and wrote that Jesus had been seen simultaneously by over 500 people post-Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:6 refers).

HEAVEN & HUMAN HISTORIES’ PIVOTAL TIME

Jesus Christ died so that each of us may be forgiven for our sins. As a result of this new status, we can have direct personal access to Almighty God when we believe in Jesus Christ. As the Son of God, Jesus suffered on our behalf as our ‘scapegoat’. That is, Jesus took the place of death that we deserved because of our sinfulness, for the shedding of a sinless one’s blood was the only way our status could be changed for us to gain personal salvation. Paul explains it this way to the early church in the Rome:

⁸But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹ Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him! ¹⁰ For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! ¹¹ Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. (Romans 5:8-11, NIV, see whole chapter.)

Now, when I was a new Christian I found that rather hard to understand – but it works! The theological term is ‘atonement’, or ‘substitutionary atonement’. In bringing forgive-ness to the guilty, however, this can cause deep problems for those who’ve been the victim of crimes. After all, why should a killer find forgiveness by God? And what about the victim’s families, or the victim of abuse? They find it very hard if well-nigh impossible to forgive.

In 2012 I heard a Portsmouth prison chaplain address this issue with a concept taken from the criminal justice system: restorative justice. This involves an active dialogue between victim and offender, plus reparation. And it has a sound basis in theology. How?

Jesus was a guiltless victim, directly of those who wanted Him killed, and indirectly of everyone’s ‘fallen state’ of sinfulness, which could only be rectified by His death.

And Almighty God, the Father, is a victim too. How? He’s victim of humanity’s rebellion against Him. For example and especially over the way religious leaders murdered His son – how they seethed with rage when Jesus denounced them! (read Luke 20:9-19). So, every victim can find an identity and affinity in both God and Jesus Christ in their situation. Hence, they can receive God’s own ability to forgive because He will help them choose to forgive those who’ve harmed them. [Lack of forgiveness may be the only thing that hampers God – see Matt 6:14-15]

A TABLEAU IN TIME

During contemplation upon the tableau illustrated above, an insight dropped into mind that the Resurrection created a distinct point in the flow of, or perhaps even a change in, Time itself. That is, the now termed ‘common era’ calendar is the medieval Christian one that counts years from the approximate birth of Christ as ‘anno Domini’. But in fact, a more powerful one would be the point at which things in heaven changed and thus affected our lives on earth and its ultimate role in God’s scheme of creation. This took place at the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, His revival to life from death itself.

That such a concept may be valid can be found in the discoveries about the material of ‘The Shroud of Turin’, the shroud in which Jesus was thought to have been carried and covered during His interment. It is of most astounding significance when examined from the view-point of modern physics.

Apart from the supra-natural or spiritual aspect, that unique, singular event could have naturally happened by means of a ‘singularity’ (a theoretical gravitational effect associated with ‘black holes’, eg. as may have been the starting point of the creation of the universe, or ‘Big Bang’).

Don’t take my word for this but consider that of Dame Isabel Piczek (deceased 2016), famous as a monumental artist and award-winning figurative draughtswoman. Her highly detailed analysis of theories about how the image on the shroud was formed is authoritative, as in the first of several detailed articles here.

Also, as a physicist who may have considered implications from a quantum mechanics standpoint, her conclusions about how the image was formed are most intriguing: it seems that the image of Jesus can only have been created by its hovering equidistantly above and below his reclining bent corpse. Furthermore, this necessitated the body’s levitation – perhaps not an impossible feat during the moment of the Resurrection power-blast?

After all, the disciples had already witnessed Jesus walking on water but were yet to be surprisingly but joyously stunned Him by His turning up in their midst, materialising, in a private room behind closed doors for fear of the Jews (John 20:19) – maybe quantum dynamics principle of ‘tunnelling’, as in On Engaging and Governing Time, came into play? – then forty days later watch Him flying bodily upwards into the clouds!

Dame Isabel succinctly summarises:

We have a piece of cloth and it leads us to a mysterious gateGoverni which opens for us, and it lets us see a completely different world, an extraordinary world with extraordinary laws.

The discussion thread has a valuable contribution from ‘physicalrealityblog’ that’s pertinent to the Shroud site’s discussion of Dame Isabel’s analysis and indirectly reconnects it back into quantum physics!

Jesus’ Crucifixion described within the Holy Name of God

According to Steve Maltz, author of God’s Signature, the only time the sacred, personal Name of God was spoken by the ancient Israelites was during worship in the Temple in Jerusalem, and especially on the Day of Atonement when the High Priest pronounced it ten times.

The Talmud has many warnings about using the most holy Name – it is also regarded as having special powers of healing. Apparently knowledge of its pronunciation was lost after the fall of the Temple in AD70 prophesied by Jesus Christ.

The knock-on effect of that event, together with the Roman Church’s withdrawal in the third Century of financial support for churches in the Holy Land founded by Jesus’ own ‘kith and kin’ (‘desponyni’), was the great loss of a full understanding of the Church’s Hebraic roots. Hence the confusion and doctrinal disagreements over Jesus’ claim, “I am in the Father and the Father is in me” (John 14:10).

Digging deeper we encounter an astonishing revelation of that double-identity!

From translations of Hebrew, the post-Shakespeare English-speaking world referred to God’s Name as ‘Jehovah’ or ‘LORD’ (letter ‘J’ was then starting to replace ‘i’). However, Jews preferred well-known descriptive titles such as ‘Elohim’ – God, in all the fullness of His attributes; ‘El Shaddai’ – Almighty; ‘El Sabaoth’ – Lord of heavenly hosts; or Adonai’ – Lord, and more often than not the reverent term ‘Ha Shem’ (The Name) sufficed.

Scribes, or sopher, needed to take special care in praying before writing the holy name, which must be done without interruption. Were a mistake made, it must not be corrected but the whole page discarded and the page restarted. Numbering had to be carefully handled too because Hebrew characters represented both letters and numbers. So the logical way of writing 15 is to add a yod (ie 10) to a hey (ie 5) and likewise for 16 (a yod to a vav). But this never happened because, as part of the sacred name, they could accidentally be read as this name. The Holy Name is shown below, but read from right to left:

“Yod-Hey-Vav-Hay” first appears in Genesis 2:4 statement ‘The Book of Beginnings’ is the account of, “When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens”.This Name was first revealed when Moses encountered God in the burning bush after he’d asked Him whom should he tell the Israelites had sent him to get them out of their slavery in Egypt.

God replied, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you’. ” (Exodus 3:14 NKJV)

Steve writes, “Interestingly and contrary to popular belief, the Hebrew word used in this passage…is not YHVY (he shows Hebrew characters). So, what’s going on here? Is it His name or isn’t it? In this Exodus passage, the word used for His name is “Aleph-Hey-Yod-Hey”.

“This takes the meaning of “I will be”…(which) shares a similar three-consonant root with YHVY in Hey-Vav-Hey and Hey-Yod-Hey…and as they’re related are both ways of describing God”. Hence my liking of describing God as “Always” and “Now”, the latter being used by Charlie Shamp too.

HOLY FATHER-SON UNION REVEALED & THE CRUCIFIXION FORETOLD

As in those preceding links, literary Hebrew developed out of pictographic forms that represent gestures and their meanings. We logically surmise both original visual and later written forms were known to and, therefore, used by the Lord in communicating with Abraham and his descendants through Issac and Jacob, and used by Moses and his scribes in compiling the first five books of the Bible.

Comparing the literary and pictorial forms of the name Moses heard and recorded as being from the Lord, we have this graphic (credit Heart To Heart):

Hebrew is read right to left, ie ‘hand-look-nail-look’, but if we read as normal left to right we find not only the Name of God describing who He is, the fullness of His character and abilities, but also its exceptional prophetic nature in it foretelling the pivotal point of His action plan for humanity: the crucifixion of His Son Jesus Christ!

BEHOLD – A NAIL – BEHOLD – A HAND

AND THIS ‘WORD’ SHOWS TWO PERSONS!

Could this indicate that Christ was hidden in the Father when Moses encountered them at the burning bush but manifested as ‘The Angel of the Lord’ or pre-incarnate Christ ? It’s worth reading Exodus 3 carefully again and note Who is speaking to Moses…

Moreover, the pictographs graphically portray God as ‘hands up’ in connection with a nail. Putting all this together into one picture we get a typical image of Jesus on the Cross at Calvary, where long nails or spikes driven through Jesus’ wrists damage the median nerves thus making His hands bend into the ‘claw position’ – just like letter Yod!!

Jesus Christ’s identity hidden in the Bible’s first sentence

ALPHA-OMEGA HIDDEN WITHIN GENESIS 1:1 (AS ALEPH-TAV)

In Appendix I (pages 202-203) on the meaning of number 37 and its palindromic partner 73, Jonathan says both form the numerical value for the fundamental Hebrew word ‘wisdom’. He tells how this pair play a role in a multiplication, the result being the precise number of the Hebrew for the creation verse of Genesis 1:1. He goes on to relate this to 666 and a diagrammatic representation, which he interprets as meaning:

‘This transformation represents the dispensational truth that at the second coming of Christ, the dominant spiritual hierarchy of the world changes from 666, the number of the ‘beast’, to 12 – the governmental number of Israel. All this information including this powerful intervention of God is elegantly and visually encoded in the first verse of the Bible.’

This claim continues by divulging this astounding mystery:

Ten Scriptures Prophesying Israel’s Rebirth – Neil Mackereth

ANNEX TO ‘STAND YOUR GROUND’

Easy-to-read introduction to the significance of Biblical prophecy I want to whet your appetite by looking at some amazing examples of fulfilled prophecy from recent history. I will do this using ten Scriptures that prophesy the re-establishment of Israel as a nation.

This momentous event happened in 1948 – thousands of years after the prophecies were given and recorded. I will provide brief comments and approximate dates in my discussion of these parallels:

1. “I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the Lord your God. – Amos 9:14-15 (written 760 BC)

The prophet Amos, writing some 2750 years ago, foresaw the return of his dispersed and exiled people to their homeland. The short-range fulfilment occurred in 536 BC, after the Jewish people got deported to Babylon (“The Exile”, is considered in more detail in ‘SIGNS’) were allowed back to the land of their forefathers. This was the more immediate fulfilment. But Biblical prophecy often contains a dual focus – an immediate or shorter term fulfilment in history and an ultimate or longer term fulfilment at the culmination of history.

The long-range fulfilment of this prophecy happened in 1948 when the Nation of Israel was miraculously re–established, leading to an ingathering of Jewish people from their two thousand year Diaspora (dispersion throughout the world). Note that the prophecy makes clear that they will not be displaced again. [Emphasis RB]

2. “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet – a vast army. Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, `Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: `This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord‘.” – Ezekiel 37:10-14 (written 580 BC)

Once again there is an immediate and an ultimate fulfilment contained within the same prophecy. Ezekiel, prophesying in the 6^th century BC, foresees the revival of the Jewish people as a nation. At the time they were languishing in Babylon (now in Iraq). But within fifty years the Jewish people – numbering about 50,000 – were allowed back to their own land and to the site of the ruined Temple in the sacked city of Jerusalem. By the turn of the century the new Temple had been built and the nation had been resurrected through the work of the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

However, in AD 70 Jerusalem and its Temple were destroyed once again, this time not by the Babylonians but by the Romans. Once again the Jewish people were exiled from their homeland and scattered across the globe as displaced people living as minority groupings in many countries.

How the Jewish people didn’t die out completely is a miracle! Ezekiel foresaw this and predicted an even greater miracle – the resurrection of the Jewish people in the End Times. This occurred when Israel re-established sovereignty in 1948, three years after the end of the Holocaust, during which it is estimated that one in three Jews was killed by the Nazis. It seems to me that Israel was brought back from the dead!

3. “Before she goes into labour, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children.” – Isaiah 66:7-8 (written 700 BC)

This prophecy is quite remarkable in its accuracy, although this should not be startling given that God inspired the prophet who decreed it! The description of a woman giving birth before going into labour is a very apt analogy for what happened on 14 May 1948 when modern Israel was “born in a day”, only to face the onslaught of its enemies. On that day, the United States recognised Israel’s sovereignty. The United Nations mandate expired, ending British control of the land. Over a 24-hour period, foreign control of that part of Palestine ceased and Israel declared its independence as a nation. Israel was born in a single day!

As Ezekiel prophesied, the labour pains followed. Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Saudi Arabia attacked Israel within hours. Israel’s declaration of nationhood had triggered a war. On 15^th May 1948, Azzam Pasha, the Secretary General of the Arab League, said: “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades.” Others made similar comments during the war of 1948-49, and during the 1967 and 1973 wars, and the rhetoric continues. Nevertheless, Israel survives!

4. “And say to them, `This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms” – Ezekiel 37:21-22 (written 580 BC)

When this was written Israel had been divided into two kingdoms – Israel in the North and Judah in the South. The original undivided kingdom was formed from the federation of twelve Israelite tribes that occupied Canaan in the time of Joshua (an area roughly corresponding to the Levant, a historical geographical region which covered what we now know as Lebanon, Israel, the Palestinian territories, west Jordan and south west Syria). This kingdom was first established under King Saul (c 1050 to 1010BC), consolidated and strengthened by King David (1010 to 970BC) but divided into northern and southern kingdoms after the death of King Solomon (970 to 931BC).

Why did this division occur? The ten northern tribes rebelled against Solomon’s son and successor Rehoboam (931 to 914BC) while the tribes of Judah and Benjamin remained loyal. The ten rebellious tribes became Israel (the northern kingdom), the two loyal tribes became Judah (the southern kingdom).

Once again we see both a shorter-term and a longer-term fulfilment of this prophecy. While the shorter-term fulfilment occurred towards the end of the 6^th century BC, when the scattered Jewish people returned from their bleak exile in Babylon, the longer-term fulfilment occurred in 1948 when Israel was reborn as a single nation and the dispersed Jewish people began to return to what they term Ha Aretz, the Land. Although the people only occupied a fraction of the area of the former “Land of Canaan”, we can still see remarkable resonances between Ezekiel’s words in the 6^th century BC and events in the Middle East in the twentieth century.

5. “However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when men will no longer say, `As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’ but they will say, `As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their forefathers. – Jeremiah 16:14-15 (written 600 BC)

This promise, of the restoration of the Jewish people to their homeland, was not only fulfilled in the time of the return to Judah in the 6^th century BC. It was also fulfilled in the twentieth century, and its fulfilment continues!

After 1948, Jews have returned to Israel, after nearly 2000 years of dispersion, from as far afield as Russia, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Africa and many other continents and nations.

It seems Jeremiah was operating with both an immediate and an ultimate prophetic vision.

6. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land. – Ezekiel 34:13 (written 580 BC)

Once again this occurred both in the 6^th century BC and in the 20^th century AD. Since 1948, millions of “exiles” have returned to Ha Aretz.

7. “Hear the word of the Lord, O nations; proclaim it in distant coastlands: `He who scattered Israel will gather them and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’ – Jeremiah 31:10 (written 600 BC)

It is in our own times as it was in Jeremiah’s (6^th century BC): God is watching over the re-established Nation of Israel. Israel has survived and succeeded against enormous odds.

8. “You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.” – Leviticus 26:3, 7-8 (written 1400 BC)

The day after Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon invaded. The combined population of those countries was more than 20 million at that time whilst Israel had fewer than 1 million. Even so, Israel won and increased its size by 50 %.

Similar examples of memorable victories against enormous odds can be seen in the 1967 “6 Day War” and the 1973 “Yom Kippur” war.

9. Then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back. He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. – Deuteronomy 30:3-5 (written 1400 BC)

Israel is amazingly prosperous, in relation to its size, as evidenced by this quote from a Jewish newspaper of 5^th July 2011:

“Very few countries have managed to grow and prosper so quickly in 60 years, from a standard of living of $3,100 per person in 1948 to today’s $25,000; from a country of 600,000 residents to 7.3 million; and from an orange exporter to an international high-tech power”.

10. I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions. And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’ I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone. “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. ‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land’. – Ezekiel 36:19-24 (written 580 BC)

This scripture is very significant, particularly for those who wonder why God would re-establish and watch over the mainly secular state of Israel. The reason is because He said He would. It is for His name’s sake (for the honour of His name).

The Abrahamic Covenant is an everlasting covenant, which God will fulfil, not for the sake of His unruly people Israel but to show the world He is God, His name is holy, and He always honours all He has promised and, of course, there is more to come!

THE MIRACLE THAT IS ISRAEL

So there you have it! Ten Scriptures from the Old Testament, written between 3500 and 2500 years ago, all of which predict the unforeseen and improbable return of the Jewish people to the Land and the prosperity that would greet them when they did. All this is nothing short of miraculous!

Stand Your Ground – Neil Mackereth

My End-times writing partner Neil Mackereth offers further thoughts and insights which strongly remind me that this topic not only proves the Bible is prophetic, both before and since Jesus’ life and ministry, but also affects everyone living today by predicting a 20th Century event that is focal – as though ‘ground-zero’ – to kick-starting the End-times. Thus, I underscore Neil’s opening paragraph…

STANDING YOUR GROUND

Introduction

In the last couple of years, it has often been the case that when I start to write an article on a particular topic, God changes my direction. Today is no exception: while drafting a paper on some general principles of prophecy, God guided me to a specific prophetic fulfilment, and to some related Biblical imperatives, that are being under-appreciated or ignored.

The Prophetic Fulfilment

The re-establishment of the state of Israel in a day, on 14 May 1948, was supernatural, extraordinary and the fulfilment of many prophecies; as in the accompanying Annex.

The detail in those prophecies is mind-blowing and their significance, describing a key turning point in the history of God’s people and a major stepping-stone in the accomplishment of His plans for the world, is seriously undervalued by the church.

Biblical Imperatives

The imperative that trumps all imperatives is that if the Jews were taken out of history there would be no Bible, no prophets, no Judaism, no Jesus, no Christianity etc. Obviously, that is not where we are. But think about it; if Israel were to cease to exist, the Bible would not be true.

Moving on, Israel is a land about which God repeatedly says: “This is MY land” (Joel 1:6; Zech. 2:5-7; Gen. 35:10-15).

God’s call to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3): ”Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Isaiah 62:1: “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory;”

Psalm 122:6: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem”

The Outworking

It is time to take the Word of God seriously, speak out, tell the truth, bless Israel, pray without ceasing, preach the Gospel and lift up our hands in Holy and joyful praise: we have a mighty God.

The Challenge

There can be few who would not agree that the “Palestinians” have been cursing Israel for at least 20 years, and probably for 77. The Bible shows there are consequences: I believe Gaza is under judgement. That does not mean that we should not pray for them and seek their wellbeing. There is no place for hatred in our faith,

What are the roots of this demonically driven desire to see Israel overrun, and the Jewish people eradicated? That question was answered in part in an earlier paper: Israel in the End Times. It is all part of Satan’s plan to ensure that there is no Nation of Israel, no land and no people, for Jesus to return to as King. In other words, Satan believes he can prevent the fulfilment of Biblical prophecy.

With few exceptions, the founding fathers of the church were Jews, and that remained the case until the Gospel began to spread. Paul defines and describes the Jews’ role in God’s purposes, in Romans 9-11: the passage explains the theology of God’s covenants with the Jews. Scripture explains that, spiritually speaking, Christians are grafted into the Jewish legacy (Rom. 2:28-29, Gal. 3:26-29) – the church does not replace them!

It would be anomalous for a Bible-believing Christian to take a passive position toward the Jews and Israel. As Christians, we stand with Israel, because they are forever linked with the spiritual promises of God, and we owe them an immeasurable debt of gratitude.

Ezekiel 37 confirms God’s commitment to make the land of Israel theirs forever.

Notwithstanding Israel’s clear Biblical entitlement to the land, the 1917 Balfour declaration to assign it to them, and the confirmation of the United Nations Assembly in 1948, Israel is portrayed as the aggressor for defending her land from relentless genocidal attacks. The Palestinian goal is not to secure a homeland but to drive Israel out altogether. The relentless animosity of parts of the Arab world is not politically motivated. As mentioned above, there are demonic powers that will not be satisfied until Israel ceases to exist.

Stand With Israel

Scripture says a time is coming when all the nations of the world will turn against Israel (Zech. 12:1-14). Do you see it is happening? The very influential main stream media have become agents of Satan’ propaganda machine and are leading people astray: antisemitism has reached epidemic proportions (eg. as in latest on the BBC as below).

There seems every likelihood that we are the end times generation. Our calling is to stand with Israel. As Ephesians 6:13 says:

“Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

‘Tim Davie, the BBC’s director general, refused anti-Semitism training for the broadcaster, the Government’s adviser on anti-Jewish hatred has revealed.

Lord Mann, Sir Keir Starmer’s independent adviser on anti-Semitism, said he had visited BBC bosses to offer training on three occasions since taking up his role in 2019. However, he said senior figures, including Mr Davie himself, turned down his repeated offers despite growing fears of an anti-Semitism problem at the BBC.

In a strongly worded condemnation of the broadcaster, Lord Mann accused it of failing to take seriously allegations of anti-Semitism and alleged anti-Israel bias in its reporting, saying there was an “arrogance at the top”.

He called for senior executives of the news corporation to be sacked for signing off on a controversial documentary….’

In addition to Veronika West’s prolific Facebook posts it was valuable hearing her deep insights into the Lord’s shaking, removing and restoring the nations to their foundations in Him.

What I particularly took on-board in view of a persistent inkling for going higher beyond blogging, was her frequent emphasis upon “TARRY!” – get closer and spend longer with the Lord and be consecrated; similarly to the disciples’ obedience to Jesus’ command prior to His Ascension and release of the Holy Spirit.

Veronika told delegates to open our Bibles at Luke 24:49 and I was STUNNED to find the words she stressed about ‘tarrying’ – “stay…until” – are already underlined in my pocket Bible, as shown below (NIV 1996, so I’d marked them many years ago):

NOW, I note especially verse 45 on Jesus opening the disciples’ minds to understand the Scriptures!

Moreover, in Veronika’s explanations of what she believes the Lord will soon be bringing about, I pointed out all this may relate to the astonishing vision of Britain that renowned healing evangelist Smith Wigglesworth was given in 1947 (my birth year). I was blessed to witness his prayer partner experiencing it too, as recounted in my email 26 May 2011:

SMITH-WIGGLESWORTH’s VISION OF BRITAIN (1947)

‘If it may help you to connect into this word I’d first like to tell of an event in 1997.

At a prayer for revival I had the privilege of meeting 80 years old Rev Norman James, prayer partner of the renowned ‘apostle of faith’, Smith Wigglesworth.

When this small group stood in a close circle to pray, Norman was less than a yard right in front of me. As he was quite short my eyes opened to gaze fully into his face and I couldn’t help but notice his eyes alight with excitement. A huge, beaming smile – he was radiant!

Norman could hardly speak, save to whisper,

“I’ve just seen what Wigglesworth saw – Britain in revival, on fire for the Lord!”

Ever so briefly he explained that in Wigglesworth’s 88th year the Lord had given him a vision of a future revival in Britain. He knew it would happen decades ahead but he so desperately desired to see such days. Thus Norman confided, “No wonder he wanted the Lord to keep him alive!“. But he just couldn’t find the words to describe its wonder.

Smith Wigglesworth’s prophecy about a coming move of the Holy Spirit in the UK, is as follows:

TWO DISTINCT MOVES
During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say “This is the great revival”. But the Lord says “No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it”.

WORD AND SPIRIT
When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.

When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.

Jesus’ End-times parable and Trump’s draining ‘the swamp’

WOW, we’re going ‘full circle’ in 17 years since what I heard about Bible fulfillment upon checking Jesus’ explanation of the wheat and tares parable (first email refers).

In my recent post on Why This Blog Watches American Presidents I state:

‘2022 – I learn Trump’s personal ‘MAGA’ mission SINCE 2012 is to remove corruption within US politics – ie culling the tares!> So, we’re both on the same page!!’

NOW, last Thursday Derek Johnson alludes to the same parable within this item on RattleTrap1776 Telegram channel seriously questioning events in Ukraine – not to forget the inexplicable missing millions of dollars – as in this extract (emphases mine):

“…What’s the United States of America’s linkage to Ukraine to be the sole-funders and fighters even though there’s zero troops deployed to Ukraine?

The ONLY linkage to the United States of America to Ukraine are the Department of Defense 2004/05 funding of the Biolabs, the 4 Executive Orders and National Emergency declared by Obama in 2014, Biden’s 7 trips in 7 months to Ukraine in 2014, Victoria Nuland’s security of $1 Billion for Ukraine in 2014, the same $1 Billion Biden said would be withheld if a certain prosecutor wasn’t fired (and was fired), Victoria Nuland saying ” **** the European Union” in 2014, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Mitt Romney, and Biden’s children working in Ukraine, making MILLIONS.

The Lord’s GPS: the warning, two psalms, two epistles

REMINDER: the Lord has His GPS system; that is, Global Prophecy Signaling system, and uses it for making His Invisible Jigsaw.

Today’s morning devotional from Sanctuary continues David Strutt’s wonder at how Holy Spirit led and used him in urgent ministry to a pastor sick in bed that stopped his leading a service.

He was immediately healed and they both went to church, testified to God’s power, which then broke out in the congregation – PRAISE & THANK YOU LORD!

David cites Luke 1 and 4 on the healing of Zacharias and Elizabeth as well as Peter’s feverish mother as being loving gifts from our heavenly father.

So, in reading aloud today’s ‘Moment in His Presence’ I read David’s closing prayer:

“Father, thank you for this promise. I (we) take You at Your word. We declare it is the truth. Our souls, we declare to you, we will seek the Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit’s empowering! Yes, we delight to give lovely things to our children so we believe this when You say this to us, Your children. We ask You again ‘ Would You send Your Holy Spirit on us, and, please send Him now’. Amen.”

THE WARNING

Next, we broke bread and prepared to arise and have our quiet times, and I recalled yesterday’s warning on a clarion call for national leaders to humble themselves and then I felt led to return to reading the Book of Psalms from the start,

TWO PSALMS

Psalm 1 (NKJV) – note its dread conclusion:

The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly

‘Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ^[a]ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
²But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he ^[b]meditates day and night.
³He shall be like a tree
Planted by the ^[c]rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

⁴The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
⁵Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

⁶For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

My New Spirit-filled Life Study Bible notes ‘perish’ as in Judges 5:31 in Hebrew ‘abad’ means destroy be destroyed, ruined, loss, fail as in ruination of satanic figures, and is derived from ‘Abaddon’ the demonic prince in Rev 9:11. (Perhaps same as what I’d encountered as ‘devourer’, as told in Searching for Truth leads into captivity under sub-head ‘Reality Revealed’.)

And of course, Psalm 2 on The Messiah’s Triumph and Kingdom is about the Lord laughing at all the raging nations plotting in vain and His declaring a Decree about His Son and concluding as follows:

‘Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
¹¹Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
¹²^[i]Kiss the Son, lest ^[j]He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.’

TWO EPISTLES

It just so happened upon checking my phone soon afterwards I saw a direct message on The Fear of The Lord had been sent about the time of our devotional from one of the moderators of Prophetic Releasers for UK Revival, Paul Marriott, in which he writes (first two emphases are mine):

“Good morning Richard. Blessings to you my brother in Christ. The Lord has been impressing upon me that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the fear of man is a snare.
Then He also gave me: 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 English Standard Version Anglicised 9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

The Ministry of Reconciliation 11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your conscience.

I sense to pray for the fear of the Lord to come heavily upon all sides of the political spectrum. As Paul wrote too in 1 Cor 2 he vowed to know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. –

Here is that scripture in context: 1 Corinthians 2 English Standard Version Anglicised Proclaiming Christ Crucified 2 And I, when I came to you, brothers,[a] did not come proclaiming to you the testimony[b] of God with lofty speech or wisdom. **2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.** 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

PS (16:10) Paul adds, “Since we spoke I have just led a Zoom and it is uncanny how up to date these scriptures seem in the light of recent divisions too:

2 Timothy 2:14-19 – NIV UK – Dealing with false teachers 14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarrelling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.’

2 Timothy 2:22-26 – NIV UK – 22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Acts 28:27; 30-31 – NKJV – 27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’ 30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.”

PPS (16:30) Paul replies: “I love how our thinking and leading dovetailed between yours, Nina’s & my own leading(s) this morning and then the fruit of my afternoon scriptures.”

I say, WOW-WOTTA-DAY!

“Yes, absolutely, WOW what a day and especially hearing President Zelensky wrote a letter to President Trump on conciliatory lines. It begins to sound like our prayers uttered, with the fear of the Lord at the centre, are, by God’s grace, starting to move the spiritual atmosphere from ‘spat’ to ‘reconciliation’. Lord, please continue to show us how to pray in accordance with Your Word and Your will! Amen”

BTW (By The Way) > during the day we had opportunity to speak over the and chat about the political aspect of prophecy. I told of Nina being strongly stirred by Holy Spirit whenever recounting her holy experience upon seeing Donald Trump enter the arena of the US Capitol, as well as a previous occasion. Paul said he was getting a similar effect as I was describing what happens to my dear wife – thus another confirmation of the Lord’s anointing upon POTUS 47!

Why this blog watches America’s presidents

In online discussion about current events and President Trump’s character, plus relaying the Lord’s Urgent Warning to the Church Against Hatred (Matt 5:22 and Trump), I was asked why I’m “so zealous” for him.

My interest has arisen from what I’ve learned during my writing ‘assignment’ – and my prophetical background gives a fuller perspective – plus a revelatory ‘authority’ of two occasions of strong Holy Spirit reaction upon my dear wife, and which gets replayed!

So, my interest in Trump is not based solely on what prophets heard from the Lord.

BACKGROUND

Mid-1980s – as recounted in Bio Info’s section ‘Grabbed By An Invisible Hand’, whilst flicking through a book I’d been given as trustee of a New Age group, a documentary on TV uncannily showed a directly relevant event of Iranian and Iraqi elite units rehearsing the storming of Jerusalem!

1989 – months after attending Billy Graham crusade I shut the door to the Gospel but that very night a Visitation from Jesus in person brought an ‘illumination of conscience’ in a near-death experience; recounted in Jesus Freed Me! I began attending Tilehurst Free Church (Baptist), Reading.

1994-5 – Seeking cleansing from that group, I received ministry and acceptance for training in healing and deliverance. Also, I was baptised in the Holy Spirit. Later, I learned about prophecy and received personal prophecies, including on writing.

2001 – During advanced ministry training (incl SRA, satanic ritual abuse) I heard about William Koenig’s news coverage of the Middle-East in World Watch Daily (accredited Christian journalist with the White House press-room).

2005 – Having had two open visions (here and here) I sought advice and attend Revd Dr Sharon Stone’s prophecy masterclass in Bath City Church and her regular meetings.

ASSIGNMENT

2008 – ‘Watching’ began seriously after opening my Bible to check Matthew 13’s parable of wheat and tares only to hear: “This is ALL about to be fulfilled” – WOWEE!!

2009 – So I email friends and follow up Obama’s Middle-East policies, as well as receive a confirmatory ‘Daniel’ prophetic word from Canada’s Isabel Allum. Writing goes public with Richard’s Watch in November 2011. (See New Here?)

2016 – “LORD are You starting to expose political corruption?” (ie ripening tares) I ask upon reading of investigations into Trump’s finances as the GOP presidential nominee. So, follow closely ‘RussiaGate’ hoax impeachments and ongoing ‘lawfare’ against him. That prophetical query has since proven most affirmative with over 600 updates!!

2016-25 – I note many prophets hear the Lord on America’s politics, especially a friend previously from my Reading church and of which 24 are proven accurate on Trump.

2020 – White House contact explains deep flaws in US elections makes them open to manipulation and fraud; contact with algorithm expert who has to go ‘under the radar’.

2022 – I learn of Trump’s personal ‘MAGA’ mission SINCE 2012 is to remove corruption within US politics: ie. culling Matthew 13 tares! > So, he and I are on the same page!!

2024 – Many other prophets have also been vindicated by US election results.

2020 & 2025 – Nina doesn’t follow news or prophecy, yet can get tangible ‘sizzles’ of the Holy Spirit upon seeing Donald Trump. First, when a friend sent a video clip of him and Melania on the White House balcony at Christmas 2020. Nina got head-to-toe power surges and saw a glory-light surround them.

In January 2025 upon returning home whilst I watched BBC live broadcast from the US Capitol Washington, Nina walked into the room and toward the TV precisely when Donald Trump emerged through curtains in the Rotunda to walk towards podium for his Inauguration as POTUS 47 – a mirror-action and Nina almost fell as Holy Spirit surged rapidly again through her.

NB: by way of confirmation the ‘sizzles’ return whenever Nina talks of what happened!
Note, it also brings the ‘fear’ of the Lord and ‘knowing’ that accusations of his serving evil equate to the unpardonable sin because the Lord is using him.

Moreover, as at the end of this post, whilst telling a friend of both those God-incidents he too got ‘hit’!! Thus, another divine confirmation

Hope this gives an idea of what I believe the Lord is doing in this Biblical battle of good against evil that many prophets are perceiving, and why I’m keen to inform my friends and brothers in the Lord.

The Endgame is now in play!

On Sunday Michael Miles Bennett emailed as below, but upon preparing I realise it fits exactly with the Bible prophecy in my first post of 16 years ago this month, as above:

Dear Richard,

Previously I sent you a dream dated 1^st October 2021 – which you added to your Blog [Published in ‘October Surprise’ – Mon 18th: Is Two Presidents Prophecy about Obama & Biden? as second of two dreams, updated in 2021 Dream of Biden and £ Note Fulfilled.]

I do not have such large-scale foreshadowings very often, but do both hear and see from the Father fairly regularly. I do not normally pass these on. However, after some consideration a word I received on 30^th January 2025, does seem to be suitable for your Blog – if you would like to publish it. It is very brief.

“I declare that the globalist regime seems like a rock – as firm, as solid as a rock, but in reality it’s a tinder box, and the tinder will burn and the box with it.”

That’s it. I’m calling it the Tinderbox Prophecy.

Interpreting it was, at first, rather a joke for me. I felt that it was obvious that, as centre right parties rose in the EU, Reform in Britain and Trump came to power in America, it was obvious that globalism would collapse. Indeed, arguably, with the rise of Russia, China, India, the BRICS+ Economic group globalism is already over. But, it quickly became clear that such an assumption was incorrect. The Tinderbox word was not mere encouragement for me.

Indeed, it is clear that the globalists will ‘fight back’. The attempt on Donald Trump’s life in the summer was an example of that. The Starmer regime in London is another. The EU continues, despite opposition in various nation-states. So long as the Box remains – a cabal of super-wealthy individuals – their finances can be used to exercise undue influence.

One problem with this foreshadowing is that it is not at all clear how the global, historical movement into the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, the Tribulation, including the reality of global government, which then breaks up into the ten kingdoms can form, (if the current version of, what we might call, the ‘premature antichrist system’ of) globalism, is destroyed. The entire edifice will need rebuilding. However, if my understanding of the Divine Plan is correct, the current collection of globalists are being rejected – not least by the Satanic system, Daniel’s Fourth Beast. How we get to there, from here, is not at all clear to me – at present.

So, the tinder is the government and non-government organisations (finance, socialism and whatever else is used) that run globalism, using legalism, murder and force, at least in the West. The box consists of those globalists and their financial power bases that have worked towards creating the antichrist system pictured in Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel and two of the gospels. If the TInderbox word is correct, then the entire edifice will be destroyed – the tinder will burn and the box with it. That is how I interpret the word.

On Saturday 8^th February 2025 I was thinking about publishing this Tinderbox Prophecy, by offering to your site. I quote from my journal:

“Thinking about publishing the Tinderbox Prophecy this morning when I saw the following:

“The wooden Tinderbox – a cube – surround and contained an image of the world – earth.

“This develops the Tinderbox Prophecy. It is not just the world that will be freed – by consumption of the ‘tinder’, but also the box.” MMB

I accept that the ‘tinder’ is already burning. I await the flames curling around the Box.

This warning brought by Veronika West four hours after Donald Trump was sworn in as President moved into fulfilment the very next day with direct confrontation at the post-Inaugural prayer service in the National Cathedral, Washington D.C.

Catholic Archbishop Vigano has since exposed the alarming hypocrisy of Episcopalian ‘bishop’ Budde and global leaders profiting from illegal immigration / human trafficking, as well as satanic agenda and strategy.

NOTE WELL; this ‘bishop’ is on record as not only having crazily objected to Donald Trump having held and displayed a Bible without her permission outside a church that had been burned down during riots – yet not remonstrating with culprits or rioters; but also as having personally DENIED Jesus’ death and Resurrection.

Thus, unless she’s renounced satan and that sin, she’s not only guilty of apostasy but also is a heretic and thereby unfit to have any role in that prestigious prayer service and is rightly rebuked by the President.

Also, Archbishop Vigano ‘goes to town’ on apostasy in exposing globalist elite’s hypocrisy on how religious and civil leaders PROFIT from LGBT agenda and illegal immigration, as in this extract (emphasis mine):

URGENT: EXPOSING THE ASSIGNMENT OF SATAN AGAINST THE SAINTS

Pay attention to the Prophetic Timeline!

This morning, I had a brief conversation with one of our faithful and dedicated intercessors in our Nation.

We both expressed our concerns about the ongoing Spiritual Warfare many are facing, particularly in the realms of weariness, tiredness, anxiety, and depression.

The atmosphere around us is heavy with oppression and a pervasive spirit of heaviness — there is much in the way of Satanic Warfare.

Now, as we were talking, The Holy Spirit broke into our conversation and I heard, ”This is a Daniel 7:25 moment!”

“… and he shall wear out the saints of the most high.” Daniel 7:25 AMPC.

As many of you know, The Spirit of Revelation speaks much to me through numbers, but immediately my attention was drawn to numbers Seven (7) and Twenty-five (25).

Seven (7) is the number of completion, perfection and divine order.

For me personally, it speaks powerfully to The Seven Spirits of God — The Spirit and Power of Elijah made manifest — The battle of Two Altars rising: the ruling powers of Baal vs The Spirit and Power of Elijah!

Twenty-five (25), I saw as God speaking to the year 20(25) — but also to the new Hebrew Year (5785 = 25) … (55555) … the Season of Grace, Grace!

But then The Holy Spirit began to show to me ‘A Prophetic Timeline’ with the recent inauguration of US President Donald J. Trump and I saw prophetically, that we have crossed a threshold in The Realm of The Spirit.

We have literally stepped through and into a New Door in The Realm of The Spirit — a Door of “War unto Divine Restore” — a Door that will lead us to War for The Destiny of Nations like never before!

I heard these Words: “A Door to Kingdom Reformation and Restoration of Nations!
A Door to a New Era of “The War of Two Altars — the clash of two kings and two kingdoms is now rising”!

The Holy Spirit then shows me that the same ‘demonic assignment(s) of weariness’ that have been unleashed upon The Saints in this hour and season, are the same demonic assignments — the same demonic ruling powers of oppression and persecution — that came against Daniel, and that was over his Nation!

Pay attention!

God shows me, our Prophetic Timeline is; ”Daniel 7:25 …. Daniel 9”!

So, we have entered into a “Daniel 7:25 moment/ time” …. which then leads us to Daniel Nine (9) — Daniel’s Prayer of Repentance for a Nation!

I am shown the increase of demonic assignments against The Saints proceeds the power of Repentance that will bring a Turning and a Returning of Prodigal Nations.

The Holy Spirit shows to me, ”This is what Satan fears…!”

The Clarion Call to Repentance has been released into the atmosphere and over The Nations in The Valley of Decision.

A Righteous Standard has been raised in President Trump returning to power!

The Altar Call of Daniel Nine (9) is the stitch in time that will save a Nation!

Now, as I remained listening, The Spirit of Revelation then says to me, ”The Strategy of Heaven in this hour that will counter the assignment of Daniel 7:25, is found in Hebrews 10:25” …. “and let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another — especially now that the day of His Return is drawing near!”

Ha! The Book of Faith holds the key to breakthrough in this hour, and gives us the strategy for countering the assignment of Satan that comes to weary The Saints.

Prophetic Meaning;

Ten (10) — Divine Order. God is Reordering, Resetting and Realigning Nations!

Twenty-five (25) — 2025 … (5785) = (25)! 55555 … Grace! Grace!

Listen friends, Satan is doing everything he can in this hour to stop our gatherings, to stop our coming together in Unity and One Accord!

Satan knows there is great Power and Authority released when The Ecclesia come together to Legislate and to Declare!

Satan fears the Prayers of Repentance!

Saints, it’s time to gather, to engage and to establish God’s Kingdom in The Nations.

Correction/update of prophecy on Trump taking Oath of Office

In hearing the Lord last November, as published in her urgent submission about Trump taking the Oath of Office, Veronika West writes of her reaction to its enormity:

‘As I listened, I began to pray fervently in The Spirit, and the burden of The LORD only increased as I saw a great War over The Oval and Oath of Office.
Satan knows that as soon as President Trump lays his right hand upon The Bible, the gavel will fall and a sudden mega-shift and a supernatural lifting and tipping of The Scales of Justice and Judgement will take place over The Nation!

Now, with these things still swirling in my heart after my prayer time, I went out to meet with some leaders in the afternoon, and not long into our conversation, one of the leaders said to me, ”Let’s pray for protection over Trump taking The Oath of Office — because that’s where the battle is!”

Veronika assumed Trump would follow the customary practice of placing a hand upon the Bible, but that didn’t happen much to the dismayed concern of some Christians and to many anti-Trumpers’ great delight!

I noticed during the Inauguration that it took a few seconds for the children alongside VP Vance taking the Oath of Office to move aside and thus enable First Lady to move forward, but Chief Justice John Roberts eagerly got into his role and started too soon.

EXPLANATIONS:

First lady Melania Trump held two Bibles — one given to Mr. Trump by his mother when he was a child, and the Lincoln Bible, which was used at Abraham Lincoln’s 1861 inauguration. ‘

3. My reaction; perhaps it’s an ‘optic’? (US slang: public understanding of a situation after seeing it shown in the media, and its possible political effects):

Upon reading the above I thought possibly not putting hand upon Bible may be another strong ‘optic’ – in 2017 Trump swore the Oath and in continuation as ‘wartime president’ during Biden’s ‘term’ he’s still in office and doesn’t need to repeat touching on the Bible.

CONCLUSION:

Apparently it is not necessary to make the Oath with hand once again on a Bible after having done so previously.

Also, as well-informed observers know, Trump declared he’s a “wartime” president” and thereby the C-in-C during a military operation. Hence, when Biden flew in the USA his planes never carried the SAM (Special Air Mission) callsign or were covered by official no-fly exclusion zone – and his ‘inauguration’ did NOT have proper military canon salute.

So yesterday, November 12, 2024, I was praying in my wee prayer hut, when suddenly I was taken into an open Vision, where I saw President Trump standing on the Presidential Podium.

He was about to put his right hand upon the Bible to take The Oath of Office, when I heard The Spirit say, ”Daughter, there is a War raging over The Oval and Oath of Office!”

Then I heard The Spirit of Revelation say, ”Listen! Watch and Pray, for the next sixty-eight (68) days will determine the divine trajectory of a Nation in The Valley of Decision!
I say Watch and Pray — for there are many deadly pitfalls along this way.
Again I say, Remnant — Watch and Pray! Shields up and Swords drawn — for the road to Inauguration Day shall be marked by treachery, treason and great trouble, for there is a battle still raging over The Oval and Oath of Office — and My Covenant Promise!
So pray! I say Decree! Decree!! Decree!!! — and it shall pave the way and forge a highway that My Glory may come, that My Will may be done, and My Word may be established.
Pay attention! Be alert and on guard, for a sound has been heard in the deeper realms — a cry of the birth pangs of a Nation now in the midst of delivering, has drawn in the great Dragon that is now circling.

As I listened, I began to pray fervently in The Spirit, and the burden of The LORD only increased as I saw a great War over The Oval and Oath of Office.

Those words served as powerful confirmation of what I had heard in the morning prayer time!

Friends, our Prayers in this hour and for the next sixty-eight (68) days must predominately target President Donald J. Trump taking The Oval and Oath of Office, for that’s where the enemy greatest threat and fear will be, as God brings a Nation into the fullness of its Kingdom Destiny!

New Year, New Focus: praying in the Spirit – Neil Mackereth

During Monday morning catch up with emails and responding to a discussion I was pleased to receive from dear Neil an urgent email, “…as it is time-critical for the New Year”. Therefore, please consider what the Lord has led our humble brother to share about strategic praying:

NEW YEAR, NEW FOCUS – PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

About 3 weeks ago, I started writing an article on how to pray in a time of national crisis. I opened with: “Watching the world spiralling downwards in disarray, and feeling overwhelmed by the evil influences that appear to be controlling most aspects of society, I have felt totally inadequate. Where do we turn when we discover that those organisations, once thought to be bastions of truth, justice and good governance, turn out to be biased, corrupt and venal?”

Then, unexpectedly, the Lord led me in a different direction (sort of!). The Lord told me to examine the root causes of today’s dysfunctional society, before considering how to pray.

However, I pressed on with researching what the Bible has to say about prayer. I soon realised that the Bible contains so much Scripture relating to prayer that a full analysis would take years! Pondering this, I came to the conclusion that my approach and commitment to prayer lacked direction, seriousness, urgency and, above all, that I was ignoring the guidance God was trying to give me, i.e., that I should study why society is so polarised.

As it happens, I was also trying to trace my family tree, which was proving a diverse and complicated exercise. In a flash of insight, the Lord gave me a glimpse (an impression) of two immense family trees, both emanating from Abraham, one through the line of Isaac and the other through Ishmael. For a few moments, I felt the pain, the bitterness and resentment of the “un-chosen”, the rejected, those who perceived themselves as having been dispossessed. Fertile ground for demonic influence. I saw the spiritual reality of deep-rooted hatred, and understood that killing the perpetrators of evil in the worldly realm does not stop the evil threads of disaffection and alienation from growing, from generation to generation. Rather the opposite, it increases the hostility.

For example, you might think that after the revelations of the holocaust, the defeat of the Nazis, and the execution of Nazi leaders, the spirit of antisemitism would be dead. Not so, it has returned with a vengeance! In the same vein, a missionary who witnessed the execution of Mau Mau leaders, was convinced that the defiant shouts by the men being led to the gallows: “I’ll come back, I’ll come back” were manifestations of the demons that possessed them, rather than from the men themselves.

What is my point? As Paul says in Ephesians 6: “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” and “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests”. In other words, we are to pray in the real but unseen “heavenly places”, against the demonic hordes in the kingdom of darkness, where Satan rules. We catch glimpses of warfare, and the “rulers” and “authorities”, in the “heavenly places”, in scripture, e.g., in Daniel 10, Revelation 12, 2 Corinthians 10.

So, in seeking to determine what might be undermining the effectiveness of my prayers, the Lord has made it clear to me that my efforts have not been focused in the spiritual realm (“heavenly places”), and I have not sought to know (understand) my enemy. Time spent gathering information (“intelligence”), and seeking to recognise the enemy’s aim, is seldom wasted! Lucifer’s pride and ambition led to his seeking to exalt himself above God (Ezekiel 28:11-19) and to his downfall (Isaiah 14:12-14) Now known as Satan (the adversary), he seeks to undermine God’s plans for the redemption of mankind, and the second coming of Jesus. He roams the world sowing seeds of hatred and dissention through deception, deceit, envy, pride, unforgiveness, selfishness, etc. His aim is to so polarise society that God’s people become isolated, demoralised and ineffectual.

Paul and the NT disciples understood the essential nature of prayer as a weapon of spiritual warfare, and I’m sure many prayer warriors since (e.g., Rees Howells) have, and are today, fully effective in their intercession. I, however, recognise that I have under-appreciated the value of praying in the spirit, rather than in the flesh.

The Lord encouraged me to revisit, and study carefully, 2 Chronicles 7:14:

^“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

This is a conditional promise of God, requiring 4 actions on my/our part as believers – “God’s people”.

If we fulfil God’s guidance, the 4 conditions i.e., humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and stop our wicked ways, then God promises to hear, forgive us and heal our land. It sounds straight forward, so why is our land in such a mess? First, I suggest that humbling ourselves (God won’t do it for us!) requires much more focus and determination, and it is something I have not addressed earnestly enough. Humility requires an act of the will, a determination to submit ourselves to God and to His word. Love and obey God, love our neighbours as ourselves, submit to one another. It should never be below my dignity to lie flat on my face before the Lord (yes really, not just thinking about doing it!).

The second and third stages are prayer and seeking God’s face. I believe the first stage is foundational, i.e., humility is necessary before prayer. We then seek to be in God’s presence, to talk to Him to hear from Him and, in the process, we should not be trying to impress others who may be praying with us.

The last requirement is to turn from our wicked ways. Surely that can’t mean me! Well, it is not addressed to non-believers, prostitutes, drug addicts, atheists, thieves etc., it is addressed to us, God’s people. Judgement begins at the house of God (1Peter 4:17) – I do not take the gospel of God, His precepts and statutes, anywhere near seriously enough. I continually “err and stray” from His ways. I can be opinionated, resentful, critical, dismissive, judgemental, unsupportive, hurtful, disrespectful and generally disobedient in all sorts of ways. I tell you the truth, the closer I come to God, the more I recognise my wicked ways. For me, conviction of sin and repentance is an ongoing process.

Clearly, the 4 conditions are challenging, but if we succeed, God promises to hear, forgive our sin and heal our land. Looking at this the other way round – if our land is not healed, it follows that we, God’s people, are not praying appropriately (James 4:3). We must diligently persevere in requesting the healing of our land.

God always keeps His promises: “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20). We can see examples of His absolute trustworthiness, expressed in the promises to (covenants with) His people Israel, and their survival over thousands of years (see recent article “Israel in the End Times”). Also, the incredible fulfilment, in accurate detail, of vast numbers of Biblical prophecies (about 85% so far). However, while I believe it appropriate to point these things out in prayer, I don’t think it right for us to “claim” or “demand” anything because of God’s promises.

Lastly, never quench the Spirit by ignoring an impulse to pray.

May the Lord bless, guide and encourage us all in our prayer life this coming year.
