247th Independence Day: 1 – Judgement jolts Biden regime’s ‘Orwellian’ censorship

After breakfast yesterday morning – 4th July, Independence Day in USA – I got a nudge to re-read Romans 13. You know, it’s the chapter Christians cite to avoid any political discussion as we must be good, obedient citizens and put up with what’s going on!!!

HOWEVER, note very carefully Paul – and Holy Spirit’s – clearly implicit caveat in verses 3-4 (underscored):

‘Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will [a]bring judgement on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore...’  WHEN governments endorse and practise evil and do terrorise good works and Christians, then we are NOT required to obey evil laws.

SO last night’s news, as shown below from The Gateway Pundit, and this morning’s in The Telegraph brings clear and highly appropriate ‘God-incidental’ indications the Lord’s hand is moving as in various items copied onto my Telegram:

Then later..

Here’s more from over the ‘Pond’…

Above ‘Breaking’ news update here, which begins:

As well as this news fulfilling the personal prophetical musing of 7 years ago on the Lord exposing political rot, as well as the closing details of the Trump-Biden stadium race dream-vision of Veronika West, it also relates to part of one brought more recently by Julie Green, viz:

More judgements and judicial rulings may be on their way….

  1. I still don’t think that passage is very clear though! I’ve never been quite sure how to interpret it. And does God appoint rulers like some of the dreadful dictators? Or does he ‘allow’ them to be appointed, for whatever reason? (Maybe so that sooner or later those dictators or countries will know that He is Lord…as in some of the OT narratives?) And it’s a bit like lying’s bad…but one person in the OT lied to those chasing after some person or other (names escape me at the moment) and I think it was accounted to her as righteousness. No wonder we believers can get into a right old muddle sometimes!
