Perhaps being old enough to have many decades of experience watching politics has poisoned me but…this looks just like what one would expect from the GOP. Stalling. They are so gutless it makes one want to puke. It is true that the DFL will attempt an impeachment based on a simple phone call. All they do by that action is cheapen the entire disciplinary process. That too is typical of what the DFL do. They cheapen everything they touch except economic conditions. That said, there is no excuse for the Speaker of the House to mention all these smoking guns, so many you can’t see across the room for the smoke, then have the nerve to suggest that there is not yet sufficient evidence to proceed. HA! Just like the weak kneed gutless GOP. We are most assuredly in a situation in the US that unless GOD intervenes we are doomed as a nation. I sincerely and prayerfully hope that the prophetic voices indicating just that are indeed the voice of GOD.

That last sentence could be misunderstood. I mean that the prophetic voices indicating an intervention by GOD are the voices that I hope are truly speaking on behalf of GOD.
