Intentions Hidden in Plain Sight

BACKGROUND

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a non-governmental international organization for public-private cooperation, founded by German economist and engineer, Klaus Schwab, in 1971. ( https://www.weforum.org/about/world-economic-forum )

The WEF has an annual conference in Davos which attracts national leaders, high profile politicians, billionaire philanthropists, international financiers, and the corporate heads and senior executives of national and multi-national commercial enterprises.

Klaus Schwab opened this year’s conference with the statement:

“The future is not just happening. The future is built by us – by a powerful community, as you here in this room. We have the means to improve the state of the world.”

The WEF is undoubtedly hugely influential at the very highest levels of the world’s decision makers; and the numerous bodies or sponsors do a vast amount of good (philanthropic) work. The Davos Agenda gives an overview of the work they do:

Take a quick look: you will see that there is a veritable forest of information covering a myriad of topics. The WEF worldwide networking capability is staggering!

With such an enormous wealth of “good works”, anyone suggesting that there might be a hidden agenda with sinister intent, is likely to be dismissed as a crackpot (traitor even) who is operating against the best interests of the peoples of the world.

In this paper, I want to focus on three of the WEF stated key objectives, which are seen as stepping stones to “improve the state of the world”. I include a number of links, lest you think I am making it up!

But first, to underline the influence of the WEF, I want to mention a remarkable coincidence. In 2019 the WEF, in conjunction with the John Hopkins Centre for Health Security and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, conducted an exercise called “Event 201” to consider how public/private partnerships might best manage their responses to a severe pandemic, in order to minimise economic and social disruption. Many of the recommendations from their contingency modelling, including lockdowns, medical protocols and vaccine passports, were adopted by the WHO and governments around the world.

The key objectives mentioned above are: The Great Reset; Global Governance and The Fourth Industrial Revolution. These objectives are closely interrelated and, through a worldwide network of public/private partnerships and initiatives, are seen as the building blocks for a new world order.

At this point I want to stress two things:

1. What follows is my understanding of the gist and intent (meaning) behind the terminology being used by the WEF, in some of the communications that relate to the issues this paper addresses. I stand ready to be corrected.
2. Globalists see a one-world government as the logical and necessary next step for dealing with the crisis we face. They believe it to be the best way to eliminate war and to manage the world’s limited resources, for the benefit of the maximum number of people. In my view, the Bible makes it clear that a worldwide government is inevitable: we need to prepare for that eventuality.

THE GREAT RESET

The Great Reset is an initiative, first announced by the WEF in June 2020: “the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a Great Reset of capitalism”

“There is an urgent need for global stakeholders to cooperate in simultaneously managing the direct consequences of the Covid-19 crisis. To improve the state of the world. The World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.”

What is the Great Reset? Klaus Schwab and his team seek to introduce “stakeholder capitalism” which is described as a merging of shareholder capitalism, the American economic model; and state capitalism, the Chinese economic model. It is envisaged that the merge will create a productive and inclusive economic and social system. “The future will not necessarily anymore be a world where people own things, but a world where people share things”, “you’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy”

GLOBAL GOVERNANCE

Global Governance, in the WEF context, relates to the management of issues like pandemics, climate change, economic crisis, major natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, famines, forest fires, tornadoes and such like) that require cross-border or trans-national cooperation. While the vision majors on crisis management, it also includes worldwide policies on a range of environmental and social topics, ranging from lifestyle issues like LGBTQ+, abortion, Critical Race Theory (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/02/what-is-critical-race-theory/) to health monitoring and regulating systems, global banking controls and digital currency.

THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

Klaus Schwab and his scientific advisor, Yuval Noah Harari, believe that the next step in the evolutionary process involves the fusion of man and artificial intelligence (AI). In other words, a combining of our biological being with implanted AI, using genetic engineering, nanotechnology, to create super humans. “The very idea of “human” being some sort of natural concept is going to change. Our bodies will be so high tech, we won’t really be able to distinguish between what’s natural and what’s artificial.” Some call this fusion concept “transhumanism”.

COMMENT

The extent of WEF interests and influence is mind-boggling.

The question arises, is Klaus Schwab one of the greatest philanthropists the world has ever seen who, by dint of his extraordinary networking ability, has brought together a team of prominent leaders who will offer solutions to a world in chaos and confusion; or does he, with his WEF colleagues, have a darker motive – a plan to rule the world that is hiding in plain sight?

I hope you can see from the foregoing, how this unelected group (which lacks accountability) could (will?) win the hearts and minds of much of the world’s population, and why some leaders might feel it expedient to join and/or relinquish some or all of their authority, to the WEF.

It is very difficult to see beyond the wall of good works and skillfully presented material that backs up the WEF post-pandemic mantra to “Build Back Better”. Even the “Elect” might be deceived!

However, here is an impressive counter-view.:

For many years I could not envisage the circumstances that might lead to a world government: I can now! My research has also given me clarity on how some Christians will be fooled, and how anyone who opposes seemingly brilliant solutions to intractable problems, is likely to face a wall of ridicule and abuse. I understand better why Jesus so emphasised the need to “stand firm”, and to expect to be hated by the world (see John 15:18-21)

FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED

Why is all this so important?

In battle, in both the natural and the spiritual realms, it is vital to know as much as possible about the enemy’s motives, intentions and modus operandi. We are about to enter the Time of Tribulation: we will face huge physical challenges and the most intensive spiritual warfare the world has ever known. A New World Order is foretold and inevitable. Great evil is coming upon the world but the triumph of wicked men will not hinder God’s plan.

We are part of that plan and must do our utmost to explain what is happening.

CONCLUSION – THE FINAL REVIVAL

I am absolutely convinced that shortly before the return of Jesus there will be a great awakening. I believe “There before me was a great multitude that no-one could count ………. in front of the Lamb” and “these are they who have come out of the great tribulation” Revelation 7:9 and 14, confirms that view. We cannot, and should not seek to, stop the establishment of a new world order.

However, recognising, explaining and broadcasting the method by which prophecy is being fulfilled, will aid evangelism. We can pray that the maximum number of people will hear and understand what the information means. Let us pray for, and be involved in, the completion of the Great Commission. Amen.
