In view of personal and media weekend events the following two devotions in ‘Sanctuary’ brought and confirmed especially encouraging and informative insights – may you be blessed over these famous verses as you ponder, pray and declare today.:
After my telling at the start of yesterday’s pre-service prayers about seeing a HUGE white, lit candle across the central aisle in front of the low dias in the hall – just like the first one of Advent, and I’d pondered about the other ceremonial ones but sensed the congregation will be the candles! – this confirmed what our visiting speaker from the Evangelical Alliance had been told en-route from Birmingham about a spreading fire !
Then our local leader prayed the above verse 2:
“The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light”
Much later in the day I was to read of an investigative journalist’s website being taken down after publishing an interview with the renowned, outspoken Catholic Archbishop Vigano, about whom I’b blogged a few times, AND that farcebuk blocked my item on the EU violating the Nuremberg Code! More on both as soon as today’s tasks permit.
Meantime, as consequence of those hostile actions as satan squirms as its hordes and servants get pummeled by angelic hosts, declare with me the unquoted next verse of Isaiah 9 for seeing the Lord, El Shaddai (Almighty God of Utter Ruin and Devastation Who can do more for us than we can possible ask or imagine), in action…
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
AMEN – DO IT LORD….
