PPS (RB): After what the Lord arranged for me 40 years ago to read in a gifted book and simultaneously watch a TV documentary about Iranian elite troops rehearsing the ‘liberation’ of Jerusalem, I’ve kept emphasising recently that this regime can never ever be trusted! So we now see their decision to renege upon and thus disown the MoU with USA.

Yes, I’m not sure they can be trusted either. (re your PPS). Seems sometimes like the world (or parts of it) is a seething bowl of snakes and monsters. I’m glad that when I was a child/teenager I didn’t watch the news or anything and was blissfully unaware for the most part of awful things going on. I probably would have been terrified. I sometimes think that it’s not surprising that many are depressed or with mental health issues…especially youngsters who seem to have everything ‘in their face’ at school and on social media. I’m not saying it’s good to be totally ignorant of things, but maybe young people would be better off only gradually becoming aware.
