Further to last week’s post on the widening schism in Islam and my closing reference to my email of 16 February 2011 recounting a dream vision of 6 January 1992 on the fall of Islam, now featured with updates of June 2025 and January 2026 atop this blog’s home page, let’s briefly remind ourselves of its details:

You have an incredible story. You lived in Iran for 22 years. You were born there. You were raised there. What let’s
just let’s open here. What was life like in Iran? Take us through.
Sure. It’s great honor to be here. Thank you so much for having me. I I would like to start telling about the my childhood because it’s very important.
When I was age eight, my dad took me to the mosque. So, I start learn about Islam because of my dad. He was really
godly man. He is. and he’s now Christian. We will go back to there. But he took me to there because in Iran only
religion you can practice is Islam. So my father want to me teach about Islam.
So he want to make sure I become a godly man. I follow the you know God. I don’t become an immoral person or ended up in
you know doing all the difficult things in the life for the purpose of God loving family. He want me raised in that
area. So age 13 I memorized most part of Quran. I become number one in whole city. So they were celebrating me as a
young boy after that. So the reason I’m sharing this because many people say many Shia people or Muslim background those they turn to Christianity they never read the Quran.
So I am the one of them I can claim I memorize the Quran. So maybe those listeners some of them they have a friend they are extremist Muslim or
committed Muslim they can share this testimony with them to hear okay let’s listen what god did in this person’s life so I finished my degree in survey
engineer inside Iran and again by god grace I become top 10 engineer inside Iran I used to work in south of Iran and
u so my life if I say that first part of my life before I left Iran was like Moses in the palace second part is like Moses in desert. So I have five sister,
one brother and I I loved my life. I wasn’t perfect but as I said in Ramadan I was fasting 40 days. I was praying five time. You were devout Muslim.
I was devoted Muslim plus more than devoted. I was uh praying or reading the Quran for 500
school kids every day for say 12 years of my life. So I was the one like a pastor declaring blessing but by that time was doing that.
So what what were Christians treated like in Iran at that time? If you think back to before you became a Christian, we’re going to get into that.
What were they treated like?
Number one, many of them they treated as unclean because they eat the pork, they drink uh what’s called the wine,
whatever is that. But they say these people they are unclean. So even some of the area in like a very extreme Muslim inside Iran the committed Muslim they
say because they touch this plate you shouldn’t eat from that plate even you wash after that they break you know they throw out
so and the government called them infidel so I’m talking from culture talking from government side and many
other people they said you know they lost their way would they be targeted legally would they be targeted 100% if they become a Christian and uh
if they attend the house They could ended up to the five to 10 years in prison prison only attending like five six people to the you know they going for Bible study.
If they get baptized they go to prison uh for 12 to 13 years. If they baptize someone my goodness that goes
increasing. If you share the gospel with other people in the street you become leader leading. If you are pastor of the
house church again is like depend what government want to put because they mix this Christianity
for against the threat against government. Wow.
Because you know what they most activists or humanists they saying about you know Christian should be free inside Iran. So because they want to find some
way to oppress Christian or treat badly inside Iran they want to find another crime against them. Wow.
And by lie they say they are you know cooperating with Israel or cooperating with Americans. Imagine someone reading Old Testament mentioning the Israel name
there because the name were there say oh you already recorded you were talking about Israel had said nothing to do with the government talking about the Jewish people as a God people.
Okay. So you go through these 22 years you’re like Moses in the palace. Now something shifts and you decide
to leave Iran. What happened? and take us through your journey out because I can’t imagine a country like Iran is necessarily easy for you to just say I’m going to move out and go to the west.
Sure.
Yeah. As I mentioned because I was working in petrochemical factory the area we discovered by not um we knew
that coincidence the under the mountain was a secret army which is now they are talking about we have all the weapon things like that. So we discovered there
the government came integrate me many time and asked me you have a connection with Israel with America and we said no no no I have nothing to do with them
accidentally old man told me if you don’t live here in 2 three days either they’re going to kill you either they’re going to wipe away your memory because
you know the area and you’re supposed to not know so I couldn’t say bye to my family my mom and my dad and this was
hardest part of my life and I had to escape illegally from Iran because if if I go through the border they would
arrest me. So there was a winter time in our area where I born in northwest of Iran there’s a lot of snow. So I had to
pass the mountain between Iran and Turkey border. Were you alone?
I was alone and but the group of people I didn’t know them. So we find some people the smugglers who took us off.
So you were smuggling yourself. You were going through a smuggling to get out of Iran. Iran and that was like hardest
hardest part of my life. Imagine before that you know people used to work for me 20 people engineer top 10 in the country
successful everything I had and now I’m just running for my life and the fear and I don’t know where I’m going I don’t
know I’m going to be die I don’t know the area so then I came to Turkey is that’s the hardest part again trying to
find some people trust people how I’m going to share what happened to me how I’m going to know they are not Iranian agent because there’s Iranian agent inside Turkey
because Iran and Turkey they don’t have a they don’t need a visa so many many agent coming out so that’s when I start drinking smoking because I look to the
world how they are getting satisfied how they are overcoming the pain the loss I had god of Islam didn’t answer me I was
praying reading fasting none of them and most vulnerable time of my life I said okay I start loving you when I was age
eight where are you why this Quran is not helping me why this you know all of this is not helping me So that’s and you know come true until I came to England.
So I was having this this season of drinking, smoking, partying, living life, living your life broken,
wondering why God’s not answering. You go from Turkey to the UK. Now you go to England.
Now at some point something else shifts in you and it’s it’s Christianity comes into your life. What sparked that?
Yeah. Someone approached me simple words said do you know Jesus loves you and uh by that time I felt I am sinner because I was drinking all this party stuff in Islam if you do good God loves you if you do bad God hates you so in Islam either you feel like a self-righteous either you feel condemn so I was in that situation so someone told me Jesus loves you for me oh my goodness why he should love me I I told him do you know what I am doing he said come to him as you are he loves you as you are. He will wash you, clean you. Take me 6 months like many Muslim they reject no I don’t want to come I I don’t know you know I’m a Muslim and things like that. So Christmas gathering friend of mine invites me to the church and he was agnostic and I said why you want to go there? He said then I’m not going for the god or worship I’m going to for gathering Christian community. So he took me there. First worship I was laughing at Christianity. Second worship was laughing at Christianity because God of Islam we were worshiping so serious in the mosque like this and I was seeing joyful people. So my heart and my mind was fighting like this one is spiritual warfare holding me the spirit of Islam, fear, religion and other side is that.
So during that worship the power of God touched me. Presence of God came on me. The peace I receive I never had before. The presence of God came like rain from top of my head to all of my body. I asked God would you show me again if this is you? And I was reading Jesus is the prince of God. The second time fire of God fall on me, presence of God touched me. I was crying and weeping like a baby. And from that point my life start changing. I start comparing Bible with Quran for 8 months page to page.
And the most excited part of that I before I had dream which I’m going to share with you. I come to this part
Jesus the only person is I want to follow. I fell in love.
More I learn about Jesus, more I fell in love with the person of Christ because I found out 100 different between Islam and Christianity which everybody say all
the religion say I said really. So then I had dream in dream I saw I was dead. I saw my dead body in caffeine casket they want to take to cemetery. I heard the voice you were dead now you are alive. I saw the cross full of light and fire came raised me inside the cafe to outside the cafe pushed me inside the house outside pushed me inside the church. So that morning I gave my life to Jesus. So that was so the dream was kind of the final push. Final push the presence of God in the church was first reading the Bible comparing with Quran second and dream was final.
Wow. Okay. So now you’re you’re in America. You’re with Iran Alive Ministries and you are helping evangelize and helping spread the gospel to Iran.
When we look at what’s happening in the world right now, Islam, your former religion. That’s right. Yeah.
Um there there’s a lot happening with Islam and when you look at the full scope of what is happening not just in
the UK and other places in Europe, but also in America, what are some of your concerns? Uh I lived in UK since 2008 to
2022. One of the things I saw how Islam and the extreme Islam spreading and
right now eight mayor of the UK are Muslim. So is anything problem with the mayor being Muslim? No. But when they
want to use that power to apply Sharia law against the constitution of the that country you are living, we are living that is the problem.
Do you see that in Europe at all?
showing UK even in some places you can’t go without the hijab because they say this this area there’s a Sharia law you have to do that I mean you go through
they knock in your house and say you have to come to mosque I had a family Christian family they moved from the city I used to serve to another city the
community came they said if you don’t come you have to leave this area so you can’t not leave according what they ask you know like because you come
to UK or Europe or America so my fear is if we don’t understand the danger of the Sharia law and uh if the governor mayor
they don’t ban you will see democracy freedom you give into them that is the door for them democracy is not the goal
for the Muslim community that is the door for apply Sharia law which is that my concern you ask so those people
they’re going to stop planting the mosque they’re going to do all this kind of thing and eventually that minority because that will become majority
And that’s going to be very hard as you see in the some countries, some places like UK,
you know. So clearly this is something to pray about, keep in mind and watch.
Uh but I I have to come back to your story. There’s something I didn’t ask you that that’s actually really important.
You had to leave your family without saying goodbye.
How were you able to communicate with them again? How were you how did that part of the process go for you?
In the beginning was not zoom or this those secrets area. So I was calling through the phone. Unfortunately government arrest some of my family member integrate them and uh so they
said don’t listen to his what he’s saying and uh so we were keep praying and thank God my pastor British pastor Liner and car I love him so much they
teach me if you become a Christian are you ready to take your cross are you ready to love Jesus more than your
family because you may lost yourself and they or whatever but put Christ as a first that really helped me the prayer
and the fasting of the church helped So one by one they came to Christ. Eight of my family came through dreams and vision. Jesus appeared to them inside Iran in different timeline. I brought my mom and my dad and the 20 people from my family members to Turkey in 2016. Again
amazing friend of mine from America. We went together. He was sharing his testimony about how he need to forgive
drunk driver who killed his boy. And my my dad was crying and weeping. He gave his life over there. My mom gave his life to God. So we baptized over 11
people over there. So So your parents became Christians.
They become a Christian. Those people they were fighting against me. Those people they reject me for three years.
They don’t want to speak to me. Now I have 32 family member underground church of Iran. They are loving God, spreading God.
They went back. Some of these family members went back to Iran. They all went back to All of them were inside Iran. We brought them for a training in Turkey and we
sent back to the house. You said eight of your family members had dreams or visions of Jesus. Jesus appeared to them and in person and in person so it wasn’t a dream it was an actual v he was there he was there one of them let’s me say one of my sister 8 years I was sharing the gospel and she was telling you lost your mind you become emotional you you went to west that’s why this happened and I was saying know Jesus the truth and Jesus truth will set you free she had this dream she saw the Jewish people praying to the wall in the right hand and Muslim they praying ka in left and
my sister was confused Jesus appeared to her in dream said “I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life. No-one comes to Father except through Me” and she was on her face because of the glory of Jesus. So that is one of those eight story why do you think this is so interesting
that Jesus chooses to show up in that way particularly in Iran it happens other places too why do you think it happens that way there
I think not many people are willing to go or share the gospel Jesus himself loved the people he died for everybody he doesn’t want people to perish And so
it’s easy he want to all of his children prodigal sons and you know daughters to come to home and have a relationship with the father and also middle east I
don’t know it’s just very you know amazing you see the bible Joseph had a dream and dreams are throughout scripture you know you talk it about every part
you see that so god using us even we have dream every day or every week so I have even my about my life and you know
Jesus saying don’t do this or do this so I don’t know that is the grace god choosing you know people in middle east And uh and also people they believe. So
imagine if I’m sharing the gospel with them, maybe they doubt, but if then they have a one dream, it’s done.
