I want to introduce an online friend whose postings and comments and mutual support has proved a great encouragement – and we tend to write in a similar technical manner.
Peter Russell-Yarde is an author with 34 books on Amazon all solidly based on scripture and all of which are professionally published.
His first book is an explanation of the message of Easter called A Fresh Look At Easter and the second is a commentary on Genesis called The Origin of Life.

So I’d strongly encourage you to scroll through and buy from his Amazon listing here.
the more I learned both from scripture, study of the cultural and “religious” background/mindset of the people of the scripture and those chosen by HS to write the books of it. the more I myself, felt led to distance myself from celebration of the feast of Easter/Eostre/Ishtar/Ashterah/Inanna/Aphrodite/Artemis/Isis/ Lilith etc – all names in various cultures for “the queen of heaven” which also applies to the Mary worship in the RC church making her a co-redemptrix with Jesus. I choose to celebrate the biblical feasts of Yahweh (Leviticus 23) not for legalistic reasons, but due to their spiritual significance as types and shadows as well as prophetic fulfillments. As Revelation states, Yeshua/Jesus was/is the Pesach/Passover Lamb slain before the foundation of the world whereas the pagan feast of Easter etc celebrates fertility goddesses -hence the focus on rabbits for one. Each must do as they sense being led. On another note, if He spent 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth (She’ol/Hades) to fulfill the sign He said re the prophet Jonah, how could He be crucified Friday, entombed by evening, and rise by Sunday morning.?
I guess what I’m saying is that when the Reformation happened starting with Luther, much of the RC stuff was kept which should’ve have been eliminated.
