Today’s solar eclipse – UK intercessor Ben Kay

THE MIDNIGHT CRY

It was interesting to note from Jim Staley’s teachings that this eclipse has links to the great eclipse of August 1999, which impacted over 40% of the world’s population. It crossed 127 territories, starting just off the coast of the USA but first made landfall in the far south-west of the UK where ‘the sun was turned to darkness and the moon to blood’ on the 11th day at the 11th minute of the 11th hour.

Perhaps that was an indication of the time we were living in towards the end of the 20th century: the 11th hour, alluded to in Matthew 20. Twenty-five years later, are we rapidly heading towards the ‘midnight hour’ of Matthew 25?

Will we all participate in issuing the ‘midnight cry’ that RT Kendall adeptly unpacks in THIS ARTICLE and THIS VIDEO TEACHING?

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’” (Matthew 25:6)

When taking our diesel car to the garage, the mechanic took one look at it and exclaimed, “Keep it topped up with oil and keep it fresh!” …that sounds like advice we’d all do well to follow in these days.

  1. I was always taught that the Moon was a sign to Israel and the Sun to the Church. The total eclipse of the Sun by the Moon seems to me to speak of the changing of Seasons for the Land of Israel and the returning of the Jews. i am not a scholar but as all its friends fall away, and so much of the Church still believes it has ‘eclipsed’ or ‘replaced’ Israel in prophecy now, I wonder whether this shows, in fact, that both have their separate callings at present but in competing we darken the whole world’s chance to see the truth.
