The UK Council of Prophetic Elders, meeting for several years under the chairmanship of Revd Dr Sharon Stone of Christian International Europe (based in Windsor, Berks), is now superceded by The British Isles Council of Prophets – with Sharon a member of its Advisory Council.
Formed as a network of prophetic voices in Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland, Eire and the Channel Isles, the Council has just held its first 2-day meeting in Leicester (not all present in this photo):
BCIP’s CORE VALUES

‘The British Isles Council of Prophets aims to re-establish and gather a covenanted group of trusted and recognised prophetic voices in the UK and Ireland, who will represent the voice of Jesus Christ with boldness and who will take up their Biblical mandate to foundationally serve the church on these islands.
‘The members of the Council are embarking on a mission to shift the culture of the church, so that she might once again be able to receive prophets, and not just prophetic words.’
‘We are working together towards a vision of a council of prophets who are in close working relationship and who will sharpen, encourage and promote each other as bold and trustworthy prophetic voices.
‘The Council’s prophets will meet together regularly, issue prophetic words that edify the church on a regular basis and will be committed to – and active in – raising up future generations of prophets in the British Isles.
Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken—who will not prophesy? (Amos 3:8)’
Particularly auspicious is its being preceded at another local prophecy meeting by a remarkable repentance which Emma Stark, co-director of Glasgow Prophetic Centre, describes as follows:
“This is amazing, Canon Rev John McGinley vicar in Holy Trinity Church of England Leicester, repenting for how Apostles have rejected Prophets in England, and releasing a new dynamic for relating together.
This was after us blessing English prophets and pulling from them the rejection of previous decades.
A momentous occasion.”
I pray that these prophets may hear and deliver what the Lord is saying about the state of our nation, government and politicians, especially for allowing ungodly laws of which an increasing number of legal judgments are being made against the Holy Bible and thus against Christians – or in other words, courageously speak what all ministers and clergy should have long been preaching of the full Gospel.
