Yesterday Veronika West published the following on Ignite Ireland Ministry Facebook of a vision over Russia, Syria and Korea (all emphases mine):
“I SAW THE HEART OF THE KING IN THE HAND OF THE LORD; WATCH! FOR THIS IS THE HOUR OF DIVINE DERISION AND SCORN FOR THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH“, says God…!
Early hours of the morning I was suddenly caught up in the Spirit where I heard the sound of a beating heart, as I pressed into the sound suddenly I saw the hand of God come out of the heavens and extend towards the earth, as I drew closer, so the sound of the beating heart grew louder and stronger. I stayed watching and listening intently, then I heard these words in the realms of the Spirit, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will”, then suddenly I was taken in the spirit to the Nation of Russia, now as I stepped upon the soil of this Nation, suddenly I was shown Syria in the Middle East, then the Nation of North and South Korea, then out of the heavens came the sound of a great roar of laughter, then I heard these words,
“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against I the LORD and against My Anointed, they have said to themselves, “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us, But I the Lord who sits in the heavens shall laugh, I the LORD shall hold them in derision”. (Psalm 2:1-4)
Then suddenly I saw a great and violent shaking begin to take place in these Nations as the sound of the roar of laughter went forth across the whole earth, then suddenly again I heard a voice that came out of the heavens saying,
“I AM Supreme over the heavens and over the whole Earth, I rule over the affairs of men, For I alone hold the heart of the King in My hand, I Alone harden and soften hearts, I Alone turn it wherever I will according to My own good will and pleasure”.
Then suddenly I came out of the encounter and I was fully awake. Immediately I began to pray in the Spirit concerning what I had seen and what I had heard, then the Holy Spirit showed me again a great, severe and violent shaking that is about to take place in many Nations in the Earth. Then I heard these words, “WATCH! FOR THIS IS THE HOUR OF DIVINE DERISION AND SCORN FOR THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH”, says God.

I just cannot believe this! This morning I was reading about the partial obedience of King Saul, and how God ‘regretted making him king over Israel’ (1 Sam 15:35). I was quite intrigued by this idea – and began to study the Sovereignty of God over appointing Kings and authorities – I was asking God all sorts of questions about His sovereignty and the responsibility/choices of man and how they interplay and overlap. BIG SUBJECT, I know! Anyway I typed into Google, “Scriptures about the Sovereignty of God” and a whole long list came up – all of which were quite mind-blowing! But out of the long list, I wrote down just three in my notebook….one of which was Proverbs 21:1: The King’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord. He turns it wherever He will”.
Now this is not a scripture that I am overly familiar with, so for it to come up TWICE in one day is just crazy!! I also noted down Daniel 4:35 and Isaiah 46:9-10, which is just wonderful too: Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying: “My counsel shall stand and I will accomplish all My purpose!”

Fantastic – especially because my nose had to be on-screen to finish intended work by lunch-time and log-off for weekend!!. Then I got nudged to check her site and had to stop what I was doing!
