The Return of The King – part 1

So timely, it must surely be of the King! A week ago today I closed the week’s blogging with a promise at the end of ‘Nuggets…’ to write about a connection with a lion vision. The next time I went on-line this excellent post was waiting in my in-tray as a fitting intro’. Be mightily blessed…

AragornIn my story the Kingdom, I have imagined the King to be like Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings.  Aragorn is a King but to the Hobbits he is a ranger called Strider, their guide and protector.  If you watched the Return of the King, you saw Strider become who he was born to be; the King of Gondor.

The story reminds me of our own world.  Right now, we’ve got our own nightmare version of Mordor with the eye of Sauron (Horus) glaring at us and enemies pouring out the gates, bent on conquest.

The Church has been holding back the darkness for 2,000 years, but the lights are going out in places.  The tiny nation of Israel is holding the Jihadists back in the Middle East.  They are God’s chosen people and an outpost of freedom, but Christians are persecuted elsewhere.

  1. Dear Richard, I received this from my dear friend Jennie earlier in the week

The film Chariots of Fire, has a scene with runners, who are all dressed in white clothing, running along a sandy sea shore. In my dream I am one of the runners laughing and chatting with the others. the young lad on my right seems to have slight learning difficulties, but he is cheerfully running alongside us. The sky is blue, the sand golden and the sea looks pristine. Its was a wonderful scene. For some reason I look over my shoulder and am stopped in my tracks by a vision of the sky opening and of Jesus on a white horse with others following. Its magnificent and I am totally overwhelmed with happiness at the realization that I am witnessing the return of Jesus. Then I experience the realization that life has been so very awful and difficult till this moment in history and I begin to sob uncontrollably at this realization and the relief that Jesus has now come. Even though the first beach scene had been idyllic, it was nothing compared to the beauty of Jesus’ return, Everything was going to be OK from now on.

I woke up still sobbing and wondered how I was going to be able to continue to live bereft and still waiting for Jesus’ return. Ever since I have been interested in studying ‘end times’, something I’ve never been interested in studying before.

I believe the dream was given to me because I am going to see Jesus return. We must prepare people for Jesus’ imminent return.

    Come Lord Jesus, come
